Cynthia was amazing!! She did a wonderful massage! It was the perfect birthday gift 🎁 to myself! It was my first time at Spavia so I didn’t know what to expect so the fact that she was great made my whole day. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. My experience was elevated because of the service she provided! When I go back I’m requesting her always!

Have been coming here once a month for about 7 months now and absolutely love it. The space is beautiful and relaxing. The lounge is peaceful. But most of all Kim my massage therapist is wonderful! She listens to my concerns and always is able to help with my tight shoulder muscles. Plus she is the kindest! Would highly recommend her and Spavia overall.

I’ve been seeing Audrey at Spavia for the past 9 months and she is AMAZING! So amazing that I recommended her to everyone who ever asks me about my massage experience. Audrey’s technique is fantastic. She is very detailed & attentive to how a client is feeling. She also has an amazing personality that has made me feel entirely comfortable around her, which in turn makes me entirely relaxed while I’m getting massages.I had originally started seeing Audrey because massage therapy was recommended by my doctor as I was suffering from tension headaches. I had only planned to get one or two massages to get me by, but Audrey made the experience so fabulous that I bought an annual membership- and so did my boyfriend! We are so grateful for all she’s done for us!

I had the best experience today getting a detox wrap. I normally get the salt stone massage but decided to try something new. I always have a great experience when I go. Everyone is really nice and the vibe is so relaxing.

Blake: Deep TissueTraps and rhomboids had knotted up and experience sharp pain with each breath. I tried everything from acupressure, cupping, infrared heating, massage, muscle relaxers and yoga. I was even being treated at a chiropractic and sports medicine facility.Blake listened to my needs and was physically able to apply the pressure and loosen the knot.Range of motion and blood flow has increased substantially. The pain is gone. I can go back to doing what I love.Thank you Blake.

I love Spavia overall but I highly recommend Audrey! She has been a lifesaver for my neck and shoulder tension and pain. Her massages give so much relief while still being relaxing! Beyond that, she also has given me so many tips for the best stretches and tools to use at home

I booked a couples massage for last Saturday and paid full online a week before my appointment. The massage was OK, but when we finished me and my partner walked to out to entry. We said thank you and left the facility. Then the front desk lady runs after us, gets me out of my car and we walk back so she can make sure we paid! There was other customers there as well, so I am treated like I just got a massage and left without paying, when she could have avoided this situation overall by looking in the system when we checked in, or after. I was so embarrassed. She than proceeded to put me on the spot and ask for a tip. Literally put me on the spot infront of other customers after all thatI paid over $300 Saturday and was treated poorly. Your front desk personal was awfully and awkward and I will not recommend you guys to anybody. This was supposed to be a birthday present and our day was ruined by the experience.

My girlfriend had never had a massage or a facial before and this was a surprise gift for her birthday... she is one who likes to be well informed on everything and given that she was a little trepidatious when I brought her in but expressed total comfort after tells me the experience was fantastic for her. She also told me the therapists explained things for her succinctly and she could feel based on their movements their experience, knowledge, and confidence. Given even as a guy I have had both massages and facials before and that even as a nervous novice she could pick up on these things as signs of quality I would wholeheartedly recommend Spavia

The environment was clean and peaceful. I loved the warm table. Nathan was the only massage therapist to get my left hip to move down so its close to being in alignment with the other hip. Ive had chronic pain for awhile because of it and now I have some relief because of him.

Made appointments with my wife at the same time due to a 45min drive. They texted my wife cancelling our appointment for a “medical emergency”. I called to cancel mine and they charged my card indicating I didn’t give 24hr notice. I explained the situation and reminded them they did not give us 24hr notice. They said they would credit account and have not. Would not recommend as their customer service is horrible.

My massage with Madalyn was divine! She was so nice and accommodating. I really liked the massage techniques she used...such a unique experience. Ive never been to a spa like Spavia. Everything from the robes, slippers, and heated massage tables to the candlelit lounge area with tea and heated neck pillows was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this beautiful, clean, upscale spot and Madalyn if youre looking for a talented massage therapist! Thank you.

My mom had gotten a massage at Spavia for Christmas and she said the massage with Tracy was very nice, and she had worked out the stress knots in her back, but the showers were very small (not handicap accessible) and dirty: there was black mold and the shower curtain had mildew build up. For the price I paid for the massage, I would have thought the shower facilities would have been in better shape.I probably won’t be referring anyone here due to her experience, but if you’re okay with a dirty shower then more power to you.

Kim gave me a fabulous massage and helped with some discomfort in my back. Shes great!!

Love this Spa! I got the membership after only a few massages because I knew I would be needing more. Unfortunately my regular masseuse no longer works there, but I was given Audrey last time and I found a new fav!

Yesterday was my first experience at Spavia. The woman who welcomed me was so pleasant. Dawn did my massage and due to some issues I was having we talked through what I needed/could tolerate and made a plan designed for my needs. She gave me a lot of information for self care. Everything was extremely clean. Very calm and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it!!

I recently got a facial from Casey and it was hands down the best facial I’ve ever had. She was very tentative with everything she did and I felt unbelievably relaxed. I made a mistake when scheduling online. I scheduled late on a Sunday for the next Monday. The next day I attemped to cancel by website, phone, and text. However, I was charged half the service price due to canceling within 24 hours. Since the service was scheduled within 24 hours it was impossible to cancel before 24 hours. It is wrong to charge half of the service price when I was unable to cancel until the business opened the next day especially when calls and texts were not responded to. This will be the last $8 Spavia will earn from this customer.

As a small business owner in Springfield for over a decade; it’s important that the customer feels safety and trust from the time the phone is answered until appoint completion. Spavia does a great job! Everyone was very friendly , clean, my massage was amazing!

Ashley is our go to for deep tissue massage. My husband and I both appreciate how she takes her treatments to the next level and is so knowledgeable about the human body and sports injuries. We always have great, positive banter during treatments. She remembers so much between appointments!My husband has also seen Andrea and likes her deep tissue as well. The owner/ manager is kind and attentive; not that we’ve ever had an issue, but just to even confirm.

This is an excellent location. The staff are highly professional. The environment is very conducive for a massage and relaxation. The neck rest that is heated is a real asset. I booked a couples massage for my wife and I, knowing we both needed it. When I called, inadvertently the call disconnected, and I promptly received a call back. The booking process was painless and we had an appointment. Upon arrival, we got to Spavia earlier than requested and Laura the owner made us feel welcome with a tour. Tracy and Amanda also made us feel welcome and provided an excellent massage. We highly recommend this place. Definitely will return here. We were happy to hear there is another location in our hometown and hope it is just as great. Thank you ladies for the relaxing experience.

So far its the best day spa Ive been to in the area. The relaxation room with accessible warm neck pillows for in between treatments was a fantastic touch! I had Courtney for my massage and she was very firm like requested and fun to chat with during the session. Thanks again!

Received a gift card from coworkers thus decided to try Spavia. My massage with Andrea was wonderful. It was supposed to be 100 minutes, was actually only 80 but I didn’t mind as Andrea was great. After my first massage I scheduled a couples massage as a Valentine’s gift for my husband, which was booked for 4 weeks from my first visit. 20 minutes before we were set to arrive for our couples massage (and were almost to the location) I received a phone call canceling as the massage therapist “injured her neck”. I was offered for my husband to keep his as scheduled or we could both reschedule (we rode together). We had left our daughters volleyball game early and paid for a babysitter for our other children. Would have been nice to at least have been offered other massage therapists. I understand situations happen, but last minute cancellations when something was booked 4 weeks in advance is unfortunate and poor business. Although Andrea is wonderful, we will not be back.

The first massage I booked back in March of 2022 was fantastic! My sister and I both booked together at the same time. We loved it so much we scheduled another joint appointment for 1 hour long massages on May 2nd. A week before the appointment I was notified that my massage therapist was no longer available and my appointment would be switched to another therapist at the same time. No big deal, that’s fine. Then the evening before our “Sister’s Spa Day” I get another text message saying the new massage therapist was no longer available and I would need to reschedule my appointment completely. Obviously that wouldn’t work since I was already on my way to Springfield (both my sister and I live two hours away and were staying overnight in a hotel specifically so we could come get massages at Spavia). The receptionist offered to change my massage to a facial at the same time which was frustrating because I didn’t want a facial—I wanted a massage. I finally agreed because I wanted my sister and I to both enjoy our visit. The facial was nothing special. The woman seemed annoyed that I had gotten placed on her schedule. There was absolutely no upper body massage involved like with previous facials at other spas. It wasn’t relaxing whatsoever and definitely not worth the $99 charge and $20 tip that I left. The animals squawking during the “relaxing” background music was awful. We will not be back which is super sad since my sister loved her massage with Tracey that day. I had texted the number for the receptionist asking if some sort of discount could be given for my facial prior to getting it (due to all the scheduling issues and inconveniences) but that message was ignored apparently.

The atmosphere of the place when you first enter is relaxing, peaceful, and calming. They have a questionnaire about preferences, such as the type of music and if you want the technician to talk to you. The changing room was immaculate, they have very clean (FREE) lockers for your belongings and even chocolate mints. Plus, they have very very soft robes to change into and sandals. The waiting room is just as clean and nice. They have a tea making area, water foundation (for show, not drinking, even though they ask if you want tea or water), heated neck pillows, coloring books, and inspirational books. I was completely blown away. In the room for the wax was very pretty too, there was a nice table to lay on with soft towels and the music that I preferred!! Brittany made the entire process MUCH smoother than my first wax, a LOT less painful, and reduced the level of awkwardness because she was easy to talk to. She was training someone and in my opinion that helped me more because she was explaining what she was doing and it really lowered my nervousness. I will definitely come back and recommend this spa to everyone!

Best facial I have ever experienced. My skin walked away feeling better than it has in months. Smooth, rehydrated, and the redness exponentially reduced. Moreover they environment was beyond calming. I have never felt so relaxed. I actually fell asleep.

I love Spavia, but the services received truly depend on who you get. Twice Ive filled out the pre-massage questionnaire which includes preferences such as firmness of massage, fragrances, and music/sounds --both times it seems that this information was not shared. The last massage I received was quite terrible, it seemed that the therapist was afraid to touch a human body even though I had stated on the questionnaire that I need very firm pressure. Ive had both good and disappointing experiences.

I had a really good experience! The facility is very clean and the front desk staff is friendly. My massage by Diane was excellent! She accommodated my requests well, and I would definitely recommend her for a massage. The one thing that could be improved upon is the creaking of the walls in the massage room. This was a little distracting, but other than that, I’ll likely be back!

Love, love, LOVE Spavia. The atmosphere is always super relaxing and clean. Any of the workers Ive booked services with have all been very friendly and did an excellent job. They make everything super laid back and enjoyable.

My esthetician was absolutely amazing! 10/10 for her. But Laura at the front desk tried to steal my estheticians tip. She pretended like I didnt hand her additional money to tip my esthetician. My wax was already paid for at the time of visit but their estheticians should know that the front desk staff is pocketing their tips. I ended up just tipping her with my card so that it was documented. Always pay gratuity with a card or hand it directly to the person performing your service here because the front desk staff(specifically Laura) cannot be trusted. Very disappointing visit and completely ruined the experience for me.Edit: I noticed that Laura thought shed be sneaky and double down on the lies a WHOLE YEAR after the initial incident. So here we go. Laura, I dont care where the tips you actually decide to give to your estheticians go because its not where my original tip went. That one clearly went directly into your pocket since you pretended that the money I handed directly to YOU in front of two of your staff magically disappeared once it touched your hand and went behind the desk. Im not petty enough to cause a whole scene over $40, which is why I just REPAID my tip on my card so that it was documented in case you tried to lie again. I really dont care how you run your business. Be professional or be shady. It doesnt affect me as I will never again be patronizing your establishment. However, it really sucks that you are causing the hard working people in that establishment to lose out on their well earned tips. Now, it has been two years and I hope that youve changed and are no longer doing business this way. Especially since everything is so inflated right now and your employees deserve every cent that they work hard for.Thats all for now, Laura.Have the day you deserve.

I throughly enjoyed my massage and facial! Amanda and Brittany were wonderful. I havent felt so relaxed in a long time. I slept very soundly last night. The facial brighten and soften my face. I felt like a new woman after both experiences!!

Worst massage ever. Not worth the $100+. No.pressure, no relaxation. Speedy and light loke a feather duster. Not what I came for. Very disappointed.

I work on the front lines of COVID and wanted to start doing facials on a regular basis. I have small children and when one had hand foot and mouth I called to cancel my next day appointment and tried to reschedule but was still charged. Very disappointed in the customer service and I have been to Meraki salon and they allowed me to cancel and reschedule an appointment less than 24 hours when one of my sons had COVID. Wanted to check out spavia since it was recommended by a coworker but I will stick to my other salon instead.

The staff was excellent. Very knowledgeable and seem passionate about improving peoples lives. My mother, sister and I cant say enough good things. We will definitely be back.

This was my first experience here and definitely my last! I will say they have a nice environment but not so well on customer service. Upon receiving my Brazilian wax I was told that this would be quick because she had another customer coming in thirty minutes, (which was fine, I understand businesses run on a schedule). Then after receiving my wax I realized I still had unfinished places and asked if she would redo the areas in which still had hair and she did thank you for that! But I am home and still have hair in different places! Now, don’t get me wrong I had already expected to have some residue of wax but I had no clue I would have so much wax left on the inside of my you know what and instead of her helping to remove as much as she could, she instead let me know what I could use to get the wax off! Then I was asked to get off my phone as there is no phone usage in the retreat area where I was relaxing in (which I was unaware as there were no signs present), and when I got off my phone with no issue I was asked to get up from where I was supposed to be relaxing to put my phone in a locker, like I couldn’t be trusted to stay off my phone as if I am a child! So I just decided to leave all together and as I am leaving I was asked if I would like to pay for my services as if I was trying to leave without paying and I had already given my credit card information at the time of booking! As this was my first experience with waxing I was hoping to be in a friendly environment, instead I was very uncomfortable and felt like my devices were not appreciated and although I will continue to wax it just wont EVER be here and I definitely will never refer anyone!

Very professional, luxurious and relaxing atmosphere with robes and wonderful waiting spaces. Theres a warmed massage table, and you could chose your own music, lotion scent and even whether you want your therapist to talk to you. A little paradise in the middle of Springfield! Deshele was lovely.

I went for a massage on Friday morning. I must say I’ve been to Vegas & Reno. Spavia was the most profession spa in springfield! It was amazing. I had the most wonderful massage. They spared not expense for the luxury. The price and specials they offer make this the up most affordable luxury. I can’t wait to take my coworkers and friends.

Let me say I have never published a bad review until now. I have never been the subject of such poor communication, complete lack of respect, rudeness, and such lack of empathy. I called for an apt and because I was a new patron they took my information and would not make an apt until I gave a credit card, which should have been a red flag as I have not even filled out paperwork or signed anything. They called last Saturday stating they had an opening at 2pm this Saturday. I NEVER received emails as they stated. However, apparently yesterday they called, left a voicemail stating my apt was changed to 10AM, I was on call, no sleep and didnt get that voicemail. I called today at 145 to reschedule my apt as I was going to have to work tomorrow and they informed me that my credit card would be billed 50% of the service because it was less than 24 hours. I stated that was impossible because my apt was at 2 pm. Apparently when they called YESTERDAY for my apt TOMORROW they had moved my apt to 10am WITHOUT ACTUALLY SPEAKING/VERIFYING with me and I was outside their 24 hour cancellation timeframe. THEY changed my apt to 10 am because the esthetician wanted to go home. I was well within my 24 hour cancellation time if they had left my apt at 2pm. That is fraud. By LAW I have not signed anything and besides I did adhere to their rules. As a well respected physician in this community for 22 years, I would never EVER treat my patients like this. I could not speak to the manager even though I was told the manager made the decision that they would still be charging my card. They did not care that I was on call and had to take a sick patient to surgery, they told me my reason was personal and therefore did not count and they proceeded to give me 2 other excuses as to why they were going to charge my account. And they did charge my account. Let me say, THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY. This is about complete lack of respect and seemingly sneaky fraudulent actions.I know Covid has been difficult to businesses but this is a sure way to lose business and I will be very vocal. It is very sad they are that desperate. Laura Carmody you need a different business model. My hope is that you knew nothing of this and that this was not directed by you. If it was shame on you.

My fiancé and I had a couples massage and it was wonderful. It was very relaxing and professional! The staff is friendly and everything was clean! I highly recommend you try it! The package deals are very great prices!

Chera was great!! I have some health issues that can make it hard to want to massage someone like me but she wasn’t hesitant at all. She made sure I was comfortable and the pressure was just right.

I had a kid become sick in the middle of the night. I called at 5:30 am to cancel. I left a voicemail and sent an email explaining the situation and asking to reschedule. They did not return my call or email, but charged me $54.50 because thats their cancellation policy. If they had called me back, they wouldve learned that I have a gift card and if they must go ahead and charge for the service they shouldve charged that.You have made an already stressful day worse!!
