Wonderful bar and pool hall. Nice folks managing Justin and good servers are always attentive (thank you, Taffy) at our Tuesday eve pool league. Come out and play! 3$ Taco Tuesday is a smoking-deal! Great lounge with many private areas.

Service was a bit slow but it did inform us they were short staffed but we were the only ones in there lol. Anyways, very nice environment and love all the photo op’s! Lots of pool tables and they have a pool club! Definitely a vibe!

From out of town and looking for things to do. Did not regret coming to Mills modern Social. A lot of 9 foot and 6 foot tables. The tables played really well. We did not eat so cant review that. Plenty of good beers. Service was good.

Suggested by a friend, this place was more than open enough to accommodate her wheelchair to the front tables, though I do wish we didnt have to put them together to give her full leg room underneath.Got and took down the amazing fries pretty fast then balanced it with a salad that had it all! Hubby doesnt normally go for a wrap but was happy it actually tasted good. Our friends enjoyed hummus and a pizza...both of which also looked great!The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location to the High School so my teacher-friend and I will certainly be back!

Took our daughter here for her 21st birthday lunch and she got her first drink... she didnt really drink it, but it was more about her being able to order it that made her happy!

We love Modern Social! Packers fans will find this a great place to watch the game, and locals will enjoy the chill atmosphere Fri-Wed, Thursdays tend to be more of a college crowd.

Mills Modern is a lot of fun. Food, drink and pool are their specialties. but they also have a giant Connect-4, foosball and Ping-Pong. Personally have to recommend the street fries. Decadent as hell but worth it.

Used to be freezers now tempe social, I never visited until last week. The atmosphere was great and unexpectedly spacious and open. The food was much better then standard bar cuisine. The pool tables are in great shape and everything is very clean. Went with meat lover pizza and a BLT. Both great but the pizza was exceptional. Thank you Nikki for taking care of us. Great place to take the crew and hang out in Tempe.

Menu is bar food and some great sandwiches. The tables are good, they have both 7 and 9 ft tables. League play if you are interested in that. Large space I mean you can lose people in your party, large space. Free pool 11am to 5pm M-F, with a food order OR an adult beverage!

Great place for pool in the avo. Nice atmosphere. Great choice of food and drinks. Chichen tenders were fab. Service a bit slow despite having a dedicated server but they were a couple of tables in. Lovely place for a breather from the ridiculous heat 🥰

I do think I went on a slower night, it was very quiet not many people inside. Food was decent and drinks were enjoyable. I do believe if I go on another night I will have a more productive experience

I drove from the west side to check this place out and I wasnt disappointed. Very nice tables with good spacing between them. Comfy seats. I didnt try the food yet but they have a solid beer selection. They also have a little shop, and cue repair and maintenance services available. Our server mentioned they were still new and might have some kinks to work out, but there were NO kinks. The service was great everything went smoothly.

Great atmosphere, lots of fun activities to do get into. Its in a convenient location, plenty of parking and very friendly staff. Im looking forward to my next return!

Whenever you want to unwind and de-stress from work. Billiards darts watch the game and relax with the gang. For me it has its peace and quiet. Of course visit this place and enjoy a game of pool the sky was just beautiful when I went to go

Went to go meet up with some old coworkers. It was very clean. I like how they moved the pool tables on the whole other side of the main eating area, unlike most places that just put them right in the middle. You can still sit and get some food and drinks at bar top type tables. Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Highly recommended for any occasion.

The green chile burger was great. We were there with a large group and they accommodated all of us. They could have used another person to assist our hard working waitress but we still had a nice experience. Good beer selection also. Great place to watch football and play pool.

Freezers is no ordinary pool hall, this place is a beautiful establishment that makes you feel at home. If you like pool, they got tons of tables. If you like Darts, they got you covered. Like to dance and enjoy your nightlife? They got a Nightclub/Lounge called the HOT SPOT with DJs playing live all weekend. The food and the drinks are also on point and wont break your pocket! If your in Tempe and wanna have some fun you gotta stop by here for sure!

I had to go to the bar for all my drinks. Ontop paid the 20% mandatory add-on tip even tho the only thing brought out was the food. Other than that, the place is a solid 8/10.

Oooooo how I love this place! Scott and Lenny did an awesome job with my birthday party and heard nothing but great things from my friends! Not to mention, their food is quite scrumptious!! Definitely recommend Freezers to everyone! Cant wait for the fight!

This place is very chill. They allow kids in there too. The customer service was great and so was the food. Food and drink prices were very reasonable with a nice selection. They have several pool tables, giant connect 4, and arcade games. There were also several tvs playing several different sports games. Whether youre looking for a place to go for a date, hang out with friends, or entertain the kids, this is the place! The place is very clean and has a relaxed environment.

Completely modeled from the last time I was in there (its been a couple of years). I enjoyed the new vibe and the pool tables were nice. Service was a bit slow, but that was partly due to a shift change I think. We got our drinks eventually and the beer was tasty.

Not what it once was... Just a restraunt with old pool tables that used to be a decent place to shoot an see sports. Its like shooting pool at Charlestons. The Diamond tables are dirty and just abused from when it was a great pool hall. Now its just a quirky place that has a confused Social gathering... Service is so slow as well.

My friends and I was looking to shoot some pool and we came across this place, at first when you walk in, it looks really cool, modern vibe feel, cool looking bar, but overall it was disappointing. We was told it was 7 bucks a table, which I thought, wow thats great, but didnt realize it was 7 dollars per person and hour. Our pool table was disgusting looking, it had like beer stains everywhere, the carpet around the pool table was sticky, like someone spilled beer or soda, so it was just gross walking around it. The only thing positive Ill say, is our server was nice and the security guys was cool. Dont think Ill be back, unfortunately.Saw response from owner, you said on par? Laughable! Not even the dive bars with pool tables around your area are that nasty

I have mixed reviews about this place. First of all when i showed up there was no host on duty and I had to seat myself. They never even sent over a waitress to take any food orders. I ordered a drink at the bar and the entire 30 minutes i took to drink it nobody came over to take any food orders. I would say this might be a good place, but I never got to sample any food. This was at 8pm which was very odd for a Monday night.

Nice place they had pool, Cornhole, ping pong, darts,Jenga, and connect 4. Bar food wasnt bad either.

The Taco Tuesday specials are great deals and delicious too!

This place should be able to rate five Stars with me. The wife and I went there for the first time about a month ago on a Saturday night its primarily a pool hall both the big and the small tables the food that we ordered off the menu it was fresh and tasted really good. That first night we showed up a little after 10:00 it was a pretty good crowd lots of open tables though. The price is per hour per person its a little bit higher than average. Table spacing maintenance of the tables cleanliness and proper setup of the tables right on par with excellence. The crowds about a generation younger than me and the wife but thats because its right near ASU. The following Saturday the wife and I returned about the same time not anywhere near the same size crowd. Couldnt understand who was making the selection on the music choices. Instead of being more upbeat active it was kind of mellow and like elevator music. This time though we didnt get the same vibe as the first we felt like giving everything we overpaid, how the service was adequate but again not very frequent. Would I recommend it to a serious pool player absolutely. would it be worth your time if you just wanted a place to go kill time and meet some new people not really

Had a really good time, love the changes everything looks great! Glad to know its the same owners and they are still open. Going to be coming back to try more of the food. Heads up the loaded fries and chicken tenders are amazing! Enjoy a nice game of pool, game of darts, or even some arcade games. Perfect for date night or a night amongst friends, Mills Modern Social can handle them all!

Went there to shoot pool. It was clean, and the music wasnt overpowering. I could hear my wife across the table. The bar is a nice area, too. They also have couches and good seating areas.

This is a really great spot. The decor is very upscale and makes it feel like you are in a ulta lounge. The music reinforces the vibe set by the decor. The bar is huge with tons of drink options. They also have a ton of arcades and activities.By far the best thing about this place is the food. Everything Ive tried there has been out of this world. Dont let the menu fool you. The description of of the food makes it sound like typical bar food, but its not. Restaurant quality at a reasonable price. Decent happy hour. The service varies, but for the most part is pretty standard as we transition back from the pandemic. Cant wait to see this place evolve and succeed in a difficult industry right now.

I played in a Thursday night 10 Ball tournament here last week and the place was great. Well kept tables, fun tournament (Tim Daniel the tourney director is cool and very nice). There was a good crowd and above all, the staff was very friendly and provided great service.Id like to make a special acknowledgement for my server, Nikki, who was so incredibly friendly, nice, efficient and accommodating! I accidentally spilled 2 almost full beers in a row (after she immediately replaced the first one) and she not only jumped on cleaning it up (and we were able to joke and laugh about it), she was able to get one of them taken off my tab even though I had no issue paying for both, since it was 100% my fault.I was only here once before, about a month ago (also for Thursday tournament) and it was the same great experience then too... minus the tragedy of the spilled beers! I will be back regularly because of the good time and fun I had as well as the environment. Keep doing what youre doing and Ill probably become a regular soon. Thank you!!

Love the atmosphere. TVs galore! Great place to catch a game. Food is basically high end bar food. As such its a bit over priced. Loads of beers on tap! I recommend the Blue Van Wheat Ale. Took 50 mins for an 8 top to get our food. Would recommend for a laid back time with friends. Arcade games and pool are a plus.

Went there on a Wednesday night. And Ive been there dozens of times with no problem. Great food and awesome service. But tonight I went there with my friend like always. And right before we left someone from the league basically came to our table and told us we were done with our game. So out of the 3 dozen times Ive been there Ive never had a problem. So I guess the people part of the league are better than regular customers... Again Ive never had a problem. But I just didnt like how we were basically told to get off the table by someone who didnt work there. And all they said is they know the owners... Definitely bad for business..

Great place!! The little arcade room is fun, guitar hero white drinks is a good time. Bartenders Ive had late night are the best. Gotta love how many pool tables are available to play on as well.

We walked in and less than 30 seconds we were acknowledged. The cleanest bar bathrooms that you will ever see in Tempe! The staff was phenomenal. Even after a split shift she remembered our complete order to turn it over to somebody else. Means, that this bartender was not hungry... But yet humble for the next waitress, Shannon, that was going to take care of our table. After reading my review of The last bar(no names) that we had walked out of b4 finding Freezers.Absolutely great atmosphere... The pool tables are clean, it is not a hostile environment oh, its a nice getaway. Its also a great atmosphere on the patio as well. An hour waitress, Shannon, was kind enough tonight, to wait until we got back inside to make sure that our order was perfect.Sux for the other bartenders oh, for my last review... We will be going back to Freezers. Thank you Shannon.

Manager is such a sweetheart, she always takes such good of us. Staff is awesome! Drinks are delicious! Games are a blast! When I say, I love what they did with the place, its a total understatement! I cant wait to plan my first event here! Lovely place! I remember when this place was Walgreens but I will say this redesign is the best thing that happened to the plaza besides our home of the legendary Buffaloes who lie caddy-corner! Our bartender for today was Cynthia! She was amazing!! She recommended my husband and I to try their wings because they were on special today and we LOVED them. Definitely a great deal! Thank you for the great food and cold drinks!!

This establishment is a must go. There is plenty for everyone to do. Have ordered a few meals there recently, the price is right and the food tasty. The servers asked often how our drinks were doing, she even greeted me as she walked by with a tray in hand. The bartenders are very good at making drinks, drafts are super cold. Also noticed the Owner shaking the hands of most he passed by, asking how they are and how things are going. Have a great time. Cheers.

Went for a company event and although the name threw me off, I enjoyed the sliders and salad and I had a couple of beers. Our company reserved several ping pong tables and billiard tables so although I heard it is a bit expensive, I cannot confirm. What do can say is that the service both from my waitress at the pool table and the bar tender on the other side where the food was served was very attentive and although I am not much of a beer guy, my two Bud Lights were refreshing. Excellent place for large group events and to play on shorter nicely maintained tables.

We came here because they have a ten foot pool table we wanted to play on. I was a little concerned because its a Sports Bar and I was worried they might have crappy tables. I was wrong. The tables were legit. All of them seemed well maintained. Even the house cues were pretty nice. The only issue I had was they charged us per person for pool. Thats silly.They had good beers and cider on tap. Mostly friendly staff. We were there on a Friday afternoon from about 1pm to 5pm or so and it wasnt too crowded. Plenty of pool tables, darts, ping pong and bumper pool. I recommend you check this place out.

New to the area and decided to stop in the other night. Sat at the bar and had THE COOLEST bartender named Amber. She was super friendly and had us laughing the whole night! Huge place with plenty of pool tables. Place looked pretty full, usually a good sign! Definitely will be back soon!

****Update**** Great place but it sucks when they block the Dart Boards. **** This was a great place until they decided to remove all Dartboards both steel & Plastic. If you like pool this is your bar. We used to like it for the Darts. Will not return again. You have lost our business to Jesters. All new & nice boards there & way better Service.

I was there with a work group for an event where we had the whole place for the day. The staff did an amazing job of working with us for weeks in advance on very complex technology needs & were super cooperative, friendly, helpful. Feeding nearly 400 people at 3 buffet lines was a bit of a mess & took longer than planned. Food was adequate. They were not at all prepared to deal with food allergy diets. I dont know what the place is like when its open to the public, but it seems like a nice pool hall, bar & restaurant.

This place used to be pretty reasonable good tables reasonable prices but since theyve changed its gotten a little more pricey so I guess we have to pay for those changes. Still a pretty good place to hang out just bring extra cash

We hang out@ this place after work once a week. Lots of pool tables, 7, 8, and 9 footers. Cornhole, ping pong, and darts. Atmosphere is nice. Food is not that great, seems like they can do better. Reasonably priced menu, usual items, burgers, fries, happy hour and the such.

Always a good time at Modern. Good staff. Good people good times.

Out of all of the places my husband shoots pool, I like this one the best. The billiards room is huge, and well lit. There is plenty of room between the tables. The bathrooms are clean. Ive always recieved excellent service, and the food is really good.

Walked into the place earlier today for the first time and absolutely nobody was at the front door or entrance area to guide us where to go. We walked to the busted and dusty pro shop in the corner with no employees working in that area. Luckily she had more patience than I did and took us to the bar. Had to ask the bartender how to play pool, she pointed us towards a young kid eating food by the pool balls.After being pointed in the right direction we had our games going and had a blast.3 stars because first impressions are lasting impressions. We shouldnt have to seek employees and find out how the heck to play pool. Greet your customers like you give a damn.

The only nite the service is good is when Taffy is there. Other than that they suck. Over all its a nice place.pool tables are good.

Service was amazing!! This bar is awesome, MJ was the best server I’ve ever had at a spot like this. I absolutely loved discovering this bar! Will be coming back again and again. The manager Amanda was extremely cool. I really enjoyed my first impression at this location!!

My go to sports bar when I want to catch a big game or just hang out. Cynthia, Amanda, & the crew are extremely friendly and do an amazing job behind the bar. I usually order the pizza or nachos, and they never disappoint, extremely good value for the price. Always fun things going on and the atmosphere is second-to-none. If you dont see your favorite team on one of the TVs, ask, and they will put it on for you.

I have been here one time and will not go back. I am a server and have never in my life complained or wrote a review. I have also never been in a situation where I needed to leave one. However I went to watch the game last night with 2 friends. It took 30 mins before we were even greeted. And even then we were only greeted because the manager came to our table to ask if we’ve been helped. Finally the manager gets us a server. We ordered onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and queso dip. Our simple little appetizers took another 20 minutes to come out. At this point we called the manager over again, he tells us he is sorry and will take care of it. Our food was cold when it finally arrived, but we were so hungry and upset we didn’t complain. We got our bill and it was discounted 1/2 way. However our items were on happy hour which were $5 each so we were charged full price and discounted on the full price. It would have been cheaper for us to pay the happy hour price. And had it not been for the game we would have not stayed.I wish I would have read the reviews before going to this place.

Nice pool hall. Taffy is the best server. The food is really good and they javelin some great gluten free options. The hummus with cauliflower pita is amazing.

They did a good job remodeling this to modern social, the decor is night and day from the previous place. And its clear from the food they hired a real chef, Ive been there half a dozen times and I have yet to be disappointed in in there food. They also have a wide selection in of beer. My only critique is that theyre a bit understaffed.

Great new look,very chill environment with great food and great drinks. Fairly big place so makes it little more comfortable and yes they have pool tables and lots of TVs. Can rent a table for your group or just walk in. Definitely worth the trip.

By far this is one of the best pool halls I have ever been to. All Diamond tables, tvs everywhere, great beer selection, awesome happy hours. I highly recommend Freezers. Scott and the staff are awesome. I will keep coming back.

Came back for a second time the whole time I was here play a few games of darts waitress walk by never stopped one time had to continue going to the bar for service. I suggest the place gets better servers or hire more. If you want service you may need to go get your own.

I have been here a lot...ive come here to chill out and have a few watch a game and shoot a few rounds. The biggest issue I have...please provide a decent group rate keep in mind with that , currently every player pays $5 an hour. Due to my recent visit and lack of quarter system games groups tend to have to wait like vultures to play or select this hourly per person ....i know U have specials that Very day to day, but I recommend at least a group rate per hour..

We came here twice once to play pool, and once just to grab a bite to eat. Its way overpriced for the pool tables. When we went back with some friends to eat, it took 20 minutes for someone to greet us, and it wasnt busy at all. They dont have a physical copy of the beer menu, and our waitress had no idea what beers they had, so even though we were at a table, we had to go up to the bar to see the beer selection. The food was not that great for the price. We wont be going back.

This place is nuts! It does not look like a bar from the outside -- an old warehouse or bowling alley, maybe. But what greets you past their sliding doors is a madhouse. They have a huge spread of pool tables and a few indoor cornhole games that are pretty cheap. $5 for an hour, or $1 per game. The atmosphere is great and the theme is fun. Its an official Cowboys bar and they definitely represent! I will say, though, if they plan to continue hosting Cowboys games thru the season, they need to get more staff asap. There were two servers for a full room of ~80 rowdy, thirsty Cowboys fans. You could tell the servers were getting overwhelmed, but they were very kind and as attentive as they could be. It still has great potential for football games, date nights, or just pool nights. Food was okay, drinks were strong, and menu was varied. Looking forward to coming back!

This place is such cool lil bar we had fun shooting pool and the food was amazing! CYNTHIA WAS SPECTACULAR man she never let my drink go empty she was so attentive I had a blast with SO because she made our stroll in the bar to become something way more then that. If you walk in to this place pls look for Cynthia she will show you all the best drinks and food to try!

Was in az visiting family and stopped by, Cynthia was very attentive and never left my drink hit the bottom. She suggested different types of beer I hadn’t tried before. Their prices per hour are ridiculous!$5 per hour PER PERSON. I had a party of 8 the first time, a party of 5 the next time, and a party of 4 the last time. After the first time we were told that it was per person (regardless of them playing) we only did the 1$ coin pay per game. Highest prices Ive ever heard and Ive been to at least 10 different pool houses around the valley.Horrible service each time too, Ive been 3 times. I finished a slow game and was halfway into a new game before anyone even took my order. I timed, after my order was taken, on my phone and it clocked at 22 minutes for a single beer! Gave 2 stars for good food at least....

Myself and a friend ordered drinks politely and we got attitude from one of their bartenders. However, the other bartenders were fine.Darts is really fun here, and cheap, but billiards is far too expensive. They charge per person, per table which is a little ridiculous. The smaller tables are only $1 per person, but the larger tables are $5 per person per table.If you want to play some darts and have some good drinks, come to Freezers. If you want to play a game of billiards with some friends and get better service, go to Main Event. They only charge per table.

Place is nice spacious and chill. I would go back even if I had to travel 50 miles. Lol ok over exaggerating just a little its only 15 miles. Anyway the food there is good I love the hot wings and the nachos they can feed at least 5-6 people. And they do have a karaoke which is pretty cool.

Awesome new bar, the staff is amazing. The owner is really cool, he is always talking with customers, and making sure everything is running smoothly. Great beer choices. Even though its only been open for a short time I know it will be one of my top choices for a night out around Tempe.

Went to Freezers for fight night and had such and amazing time! Amber was our bartender and she was so so sweet! Made me feel super welcome and was very attentive. I wasn’t super into fight night but came with friends and she made me feel very taking care of! I will definitely be back!

Great pool hall. Upscale environment, casual service. Beautiful and well maintained equipment, lively atmosphere. All tables and racks are Diamonds. Good for everyone from casual players to World Champions.

Food is 6/10 but thats what we expected from a bar. Pool tables were ok but some cues were damaged... Not ok for being a pool hall. Drinks were good once you get them but expect to be ignored for a while before getting a chance to order. Overall, this place is expensive and not really worth it....

Sooooooo, Ive never been forced to pay 20% for a tip.Long wait for drinks, rushed to order food, several plates left on the table after several visits from waitress, after the plates were removed they left the rest of the trash.But hey! They got a $32.87 tip and cant even do their job.

Its a very nice and newly remodeled building but its still the old freezers just a fancier atmosphere. Drinks come in plastic cups and you have to get your own drinks and food because the waitstaff is nonexistent. Was hoping for something better.

Swung by on 05/05/2021 to see the remodel.Sat at the rail at 8 pm. Left at 8:11 pmTwo bartenders. They werent busy. Made eye contact with both of them a couple times. Nobody greeted me, no menu, no water.They made the place look better but I couldnt tell you much more as the service today was as terrible as it was when it was that icehouse bar.Big disappointment, train staff and hire a bartender who will work the rail

Great place to go play pool, but be prepared for slow service on nights that arent busy. The staff seems to prefer chatting with each other in clusters of three rather than help out their guests. Theyre on top of it in busy nights, at least.

Service was great! Cute redhead server. Appletini, not so great. TONS of pool tables. But we wanted to play darts, that part was closed for renovations. I will be back and re-read, review it in a month or so. Food was ok. Wings were delicious!

Great place. Super nice layout. Very clean. Food was really good too. Especially the yummy bread that came with the fettuccini Alfredo.My only critiques would be that the ranch was WAY too thick, and had more of a tangy instead of ranch flavor. Also, the lights over the food tables are far too bright. Like WAAAAAAAAYYYY too bright.We were a table of 8, and our tab was big. We are also big tippers. And Stephanie would have benefited from that (she still got 20%) if she had smiled, recommended, was friendly, and didnt make us feel like a burden every time we asked for something. Shame.

IMO, this is the best pool 🎱 hall in the Tempe area. Plenty of tables, good food, cold drinks, and AMAZING service. I am here at least once per week...

Freezers is an awesome hangout spot with plenty of tables to shoot pool. Prices are reasonable, and service is always great. I will continue to come here with friends and would recommend you come if youre looking for a spot to drink and play pool.

Scott Frost, the world champion for one pocket/owner of freezer, came to greet us and gave us a lil tour for our first time there! He was a sweet and humble gentlemen. Had him sign a T-shirt for me😊Best looking pool hall Ive ever seen or been to. The music is always playing so you dont have to worry about dead silence like other pool halls. Great group of the finest pool players Ive had a chance to meet, shoot with and made some great friends along the way!Its the place to be if you like games and a challenge! A Classy place...

Awesome revamp!!!! If you are in the Tempe area and look for a place to have drinks, eat, and socialize with the appropriate protocol for Covid-19 and social distancing!!!! This is the place!! Ping pong, plenty of pool tables, darts and arcades!!! I didnt feel like it was to crowded and not enough space around me to have and keep social distancing in mind!!! Staff does an AMAZING JOB CLEANING AND DISINFECTING!!!!

I come on regularly to watch the many sports programs you guys have and I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Amber a young lady that works there. She is amazing! And a big reason why I pass numerous bars on my way up to freezers. Her customers service is hands down the best Ive received at a bar. I will be sure and be back as well as tell my friends and colleagues that Frezzers is the place to be! Cheers

I have not been there since the 10 diamond was axed, but the few times I did visit were enjoyable. Best equipment in town and if it was not so far away, I would be there daily! I did go for my birthday a year ago and the 7 friends I brought with me all wanted to drink play and be merry for about 6 hours. We could not stay that day because the math just did not work out with the table rates.. I believe the rates have been worked out so it is affordable for all who want to have a great time in a fantastic atmosphere! My kids were able to play with pros during the WCC in 2018 and that was an amazing experience for them as well as myself. Alex Pagulayan, Omar AlShaheen, and Dennis Orcullo were so cool to play with a 13 year old kid and Alex even lost a game on the Big Foot diamond! Awesome miss Alex!! He will never forget winning that game!!

Its a nice bar and pool hall. Its fun to go and hang out pretty cool place. The prices are a little much, but we still go. Havent been there for happy hour so maybe thats the time to go for a good priced drink. Other than that I like this place.

Hands down best place to play pool in Tempe. Decent beer and food selection too. Looked like they were adding a bunch of booth seating when I was there last too. Could be a solid spot just to watch football on the weekends too even if you aren’t playing pool.

I have been here 3x in the last 3 days. My son is in town from NY and thought he would support another pool player. This is a huge room, good tables, food and service is fine but the music volume is loud and annoying. It is too loud to hold a conversation with a person standing next to you. I asked if the music could come down a bit in volume, which I saw the waitress relay my request, but nothing changed. I will bring ear plugs if I choose to come again, but even that is annoying.

I want to give a huge shout out to Nicole! We had a huge group from work for happy hour and she took great care of us and was always on top of it! We did not have any issues and everyone had a great time. Thank you again Nicole

Today was my first time at this place. Kristen our bartender was very helpful and I appreciated her recommendation on the menu today it was delicious! I will definitely be back and will make sure to bring more friends and family.

I hate going out. People, crowds, the worst. HOWEVER, this place restored my faith in doing so more often, at least coming back here. Amber and Amanda were fantastic. You can tell they really love what they do, and we’re super friendly. I’ll be back and telling my neighbors as well!

Great atmosphere and friendly employees at the bar and as servers I recommend Cynthia number one for real she’s on point with drinks and food we don’t believe me you trade off for what it’s worth. But nonetheless yeah it is a great place to come and hang out and drink and have fun.

Great place to hang lots of games, tons of pool tables and a great beer selection, heavy on my fave IPAs. Food was very good and served quickly. Went went there last minute when our Spring training game was cancelled, definitely will return.

Went to watch the fight last week.... our cocktail server had a pretty empty section. When I arrived my hubby and his friend had already ordered and eaten their food. Plates and old food cluttered the table for the duration of our stay, and sat through the few trips our server made to our table. Other than that, great beer selection ok food great atmosphere. Make sure a manager on duty is actually ON DUTY. Watch your place, check your people. Clear plates. MANAGE

Food ok and fun place. Make sure you remember to pick up your drivers license that you have to leave to use their darts. I forgot and tried to call them back for hours and left messages and nobody called back. So drove back there at 1130 at night and spoke to the Manager Paul. He said they may get back to people the next day. Even if it is an emergency. Tough company policy!

Played at the TAP tournament on Saturday, it was the first day open and nothing went wrong! Absolutely amazing! Food was great, service was excellent and the pool tables were perfect, it couldnt have been any better!

The service was horrible every server tried to take away my limes and salt with my beer. My orginori server never checked on us to see if our food taste ok. We ordered numerous thing with our food from ranch and ketchup to sides. To top it all off it was not busy at all the place he about 30 people in it. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. Please dont waste your money

Luckily theres a Wells Fargo next door for a bank loan. Paying 5 star prices for 1 star drinks and the pool tables went from some of the best to almost the worst in the valley. 2 stars only because of the great staff.

Spacious, clean, quiet during the day on a weekend with easy parking. They can definitely do better with the quantity of food they give for the prices. I would go back to play pool and happy hour

Love to go there at least once a month to have a few shots and beers with my old co-workers. Dont get the chili cheese fries!!!! But do get the chicken wings. Thoae are delicious!!! You can play pool, darts and outside you can play corn hole.

Lo So So is the BEST BARTENDER EVER!!!!! Great Atmosphere , and just the perfect place to play pool, throw some darts, eat some food, and have a good time!! I love it here, Definitely my new favorite spot!! They even have the Hotspot Lounge in there which no doubt will be a big hit once that Dj Booth is up and running!!

Got harassed by a drunk off the clock bartender, paid 8 bucks an ounce for Jameson when its 20 a bottle, and the food was garabage. The service was pretty bad, the bartender John literally went down the bar litterally telling everyone they were good, but only serving the pretty girls while our cups remained empty. It would be a really cool spot if drinks were reasonable and the service wasnt bad.

Hold on to your beer.while playing darts with a buddy I went for my beer (we had a pitcher two glasses) and my cup was gone! ( Honest mistake right?) I went and got a new glass, thats fine. But soon later my buddy goes to drink from his cup and its gone! Well that happened two more times! But heres the kicker right after my friend talked to the owner (while my glass is the only glass on the table now) with beer in a pitcher still this waitress walks up and takes my cup! Theres plenty wrong with this situation we literally just got done talking to the owner about our cups being taken and not even 2 minutes later it happens again and right in front of us.And the times we went and said something they gave us exactly what was missing a half a cup. Im gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say cause they just opened and arent fully trained yet? Just hold on to your beerPS the tipping was well

Waitresses had very bad customer service skills. The security team was more helpful than the waitresses, letting us know what the drink specials were and what pool tables were available. Great job, security team! Bad job, waitresses! 😎👍🏼 😐👎🏼

Good prices and friendly staff. I go for pool but there are all kinds of games, ping pong, HUGE foosball table, corn hole, connect 4 games, darts and Im sure more. TVs surround the area for all the sports you want to see.

Fun place with great food. We had Austin as our waiter and what a great job he did taking care of us. When he was giving us all our checks at the end, he remembered who was who and got it all right. Austin is the best.

First off no staff has any masks on. Very little social distancing front and person was extremely rude and dismissive did not even look Us in the eye. When we were taken to our table we sat there for close to 10 minutes without service before we decided to get up and leave

Ruff place. Im sure there is some of you out there that likes this place but the reoccurring energy is not good. Dart boards are malfunctioning and the manager. Well that piece is supposedly around but not for customers. As an out of towner looking to enjoy myself and spend some bills, this wont be the spot next time.

Great place to play pool. Quality tables and lots of them. Fairly expensive for drinks though. Individual beers and pitchers of anything that isnt PBR are priced way too high in my opinion.

YESSIR SHO IS GOOD!), and the list goes on.One of the newer additions to the cast has taken the cake. Super friendly, gorgeous, sweet little lady named Millie knows how to take care of a guest. She is honest and tells you whats up. She came around to check on us just enough to not seem overcasting. Walk the room casually check sections and noting low drinks. Every time one of us finished, she was there on point, before the empty pint hit the table to ask us about refills. She also kindly cut us off without even us really noticing that we where reaching that point. This shows great experience. If I ever open up a place, this is the kind of server I would love to have, one who is attentive, socialable, and uses great wisdom looking out for the customer, herself, and the business. Good Job finding this fella. Billiards are fun and all but when you have members of the security team parking their Harley-Davidson in the middle of the only sidewalk in the entire shopping center so that somebody in a power chair device cant even get by I think thats a little inappropriate and I think the ownership should talk to them about it

This place is always a blast. The owner OR his right hand man are always checking with you to make sure all is good. Great staff, great pool tables and great food.

We came in on a Saturday and it was not busy inside. Service was non existent. We were at a table for 4 hours and never received service. At the bar staff talked among themselves and ignored everyone waiting to order drinks or food. No managers were present. Appetizers took over an hour to make. This place is garbage.

Went to watch a Coyotes game. Had a nice time. Decent drink prices. Friendly staff. Would be nice if they did drink specials or food specials for AZ sports game nights.

Owner of the establishment racist. I put $20.00 in the juke box, and expected my changed back. When I didn’t know how to retrieve my change back I asked the waitress who the got the owner of the establishment. The owner was a white Caucasian older man. The owner stated that he didn’t own the machine and couldn’t do anything for me until my guy friend came over. The owner only wanted to give me $10.00 when the songs were 2 songs for 1.00. I got upset when the owner wouldn’t give me back what my true change was. The owner didn’t,t want to deal with the situations so he told the only African Americans man that was there in the establishment to take care of the situation. The owner then kicked us out of-the establishment. Owner stated he had a black wife which had nothing to do with the situation in the end. I am an African American women who felt disrespected. I give this establishment 0 star. The food wasn’t even that good.

Went to this location a few months ago. I was greeted surprisingly by the boss man himself. Very humble guy and he explain to us how everything worked. Had a blast, very enjoyable place, I recommend this place to everyone..

I love all the activities you can do here, drinks are hit and miss for turn around time. Theyre queso is SO GOOD.. But the music is run by a jukebox and my friends and I had to sit through about 8 ICP songs and we needed up leaving because no one knew how to change the song. ICP is worth leaving a good time for.

Experience was Awful! After getting a Bloody Mary with sugar on the rim we waited an extremely long time for our food. Food was so so but the waitress NEVER asked to refill our drinks the whole time. Steer clear of this place!!!

Terrible service!I went to order a drink with the bar not even at 20% capacity and it took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me. Then when it came to close my tab I noticed they had accidentally added another drink to my tab which I didnt order. I asked them to remove it and the bartender made a big fuss about how its only 4 dollars geez. Then proceeds to accuse me for being rude.

Absolutely amazing place. Took a few of my work colleagues to enjoy some drinks and the atmosphere was amazing. Red was our bartender, very attentive and down to earth.

I’ll give it a 3. It was SOOO dead when I went in there on a Thursday night around 1am. There were some nastaaay tables tho. It was chilly inside. Wasn’t super impressed with the menu. It’s pretty & bright interiors, good design. Spacious, but so empty. Idk, something about it... just didn’t want to stay.

Freezers is in my opinion the finest pool room in the Phoenix metro area. Well maintained Diamond tables, full bar and full menu along with beautiful friendly waitresses makes this a must stop for all pool enthusiasts.

DOG FRIENDLY PATIO!!!!!!! So the bartender w the shaved head and shaved beard was so cool to us. We pregame to sober up before classes/work the next day, and he took such good care of us. Bought us waters every 15 or so minutes( I was such a mess and he was patient), and helped me set up the tunes app for the music. But trust, the parking lot was full and everyone was really nice in this place, patrons included. Come by and management please give this Branden a good management position for the bar or for floor cover bc he was so sweet even though we were your typical drunk party making a fool of ourselves, he kept his cool Nd joked with us and make us alchohol-less drinks that still tasted great, and he let me take my pets onto the patio to us the bathroom while my group finished their game. I stopped on my way home and the manager met me at the door, showed me around, told me all about their dart boards (some are internet connected to play people anywhere in the world), pool tables (they have a bumper pool table), tournaments, arcade room, restaurant, and about the owner. Very friendly and very enthusiastic staff.

Very friendly both professional bollairds as well as bar size tables , dart room and a variety of other games and interest, Smoking Patio only downsize things are a little high price good place to go on special occassions.

A friend and I ordered beef and chicken tacos. Both the beef and chicken were incredibly dry. Looked, felt, and tasted as if they were left out and forgotten about for days, then placed in a taco shell. The mild sauce tasted like a mixture of sewer water and Italian dressing.

The best place to play pool in the entire United States. Seriously. Also excellent food and service. Cant think of a single thing I would change, wow! Very impressed.

Lunch work event, only 12 of us and food took forever...like almost an hour. Looked like a fun happy hour place w tons of tvs. Was not cold in there...in the summer u want it freezing and it was warm. Granted not thier busy time.

I usually go there but not any more after today the owner was there and he was so rode, I was hitting the ball hard and he was saying calm down your hurting the table. I didn’t know that he is the owner so I asked “ why? “ then he said” because, I own this place and it’s very expensive “. If there is something happened for the table I will pay what I did! That’s will be my last time going there I’ll never go there again.

I love Freezers Ice House. Have since July 2017. Best edition was Jan 2018, when Kristen Turner, joined the crew. One of the hardest working servers, bartenders, and all around good person I have met. She checks on me even when she is not my server and always makes sure my cup is full and see how Im doing. I love Freezers and Kristen Turner is a big part of that now. She is the reason I give Freezers a KrisTEN out of TEN!

I had a visit to freezers last Friday and had the pleasure of dealing with Parker. She was new but I couldnt tell because of how knowledgeable she was with the experience and menu. It was mine and my boyfriends first time there and definitely wint be our last....

The place is alright if you like mixed drinks from people who havent bartended and bartenders who have an awful attitude (Im talking to you lady in the corset). But otherwise, Pool tables are great.

I went out of my way to check out freezers simply because I had heard one of my favorite bartenders ever had started working there - Summer, her smiling face and positive attitude never disappoints!! The food and drink was 5 stars also

Millie omg was on point. She some how knows exactly when to come to your table to get you another drink. Also have a smile on her face. First place I been to in a while where someone is like that.

We were in from Vegas for a pool tournament....this was our first time stopping in a freezers....it was a big place...lot of pool tables and other games.....seems like a hot spot for the area. The staff seemed cool....if I was local this would probably be my hangout.

I will never go back to that bad place, bad customer service one specific manager had the red eyes (the pink eye which is contagious). Bad customer service had to ask for a menu after we was ignore for about 15 minutes after we received our drinks 👎

Good for college kid hangout, they try to appeal to more serious players and yet do not understand that the tables need to be cleaned, there are stains and cloth tears everywhere, all the tables except the stadium need to be re-clothed. Also, Scott is not an asset to the place, he asks like he owns the facility, people in general do not like him. Really need to look at how Mainstreet iMesa is run.

This place is single-handedly one of the greatest places in the entire Valley and Tempe was the city so lucky to have been given the honor of housing this marvelous structure. Dubbed the Taj Mahal of fun, this place hands out good times like theyre Gilbert Police handing out speeding tickets. At the helm of this fine old machine lies a bartender whose skill is only surpassed by her beauty. Her government is Megan but the rest of us know her as Mama Freeze. Only come here if you want your life to go in a radically opposite direction from depressed, stagnant and boring. Stay away from this place if you have heart problems, are an expectant mother or are easily excited as this place will definitely send that car off those tracks. And remember as always, ask for Megan.

Overcharged on bills. check your card charges folks when u go to Freezers.i showed statement to manager and he did nothing. Im currently disputing charges at bank.I really like the place just dont like overchages

This place is fun. Had alot of places to play pool connect four and corn hole. The staff was so nice and attentive. Had fun.

No chalk for the pool tables, nice smoking section outside, there is a cover charge, at least when my group went, some sort of a dance club thing on the side of the place. Its a bar.
