The Golden Road

This place has such a nice vibe! Modernized rock decor tastefully done. Dim lighting but not too dim to the point you can’t see anything. There is even an upstairs loft type area. Bartender is extremely nice and helpful. If that’s not enough… my friends and I came on a Friday night and the bottled beers were only $3 (yes there are IPAs). The owner is definitely a big fan of The Grateful Dead and I am living for it! I hope more people will give this place a shot

Place open almost 2 hours later that listed on website and door, great atmosphere but my boyfriend and I only had two draft beers each and the total was almost 30$, we were kinda disappointed, if I just wanted a fun music inspired atmosphere there’s lots of other places to go that are much cheaper and professional

A pretty cool place, been in a few times. Drove in from out of town today and they were closed an hour after they were supposed to be open. For a place that is usually dead (no pun intended), you’d think they would be doing everything they can to get and keep more business. Bartenders walk away a lot and don’t offer great customer service, but are friendly when present. I really like this bar and want to see it thrive, but a few disappointing experiences.

This place is beautiful! The posters and photographs are amazing. They serve a great beer and liquor selection and offered us mixed nuts. I am hoping this place sticks around and someday gets live music and maybe even food. For now its an awesome place to watch streamed live shows and visit with fellow jam band music lovers! Couch tour party!

Cheap drinks, groovy music, awesome decorations, and cool people. This place is EXACTLY what a town like Toledo needs. I would’ve been in serious trouble if this place had been here while I was at University of Toledo….

The moment we walked in the bartender Matt greeted us with a smile. The conversations about everything from the homemade drinks to the live music streaming and decor made this place feel so open and accepting. Such a great environment to be yourself and have a great time.

A really good place for anyone to have a couple drinks, play some billiards and just chill out in the outside patio. You got it all in a huge two-story bar.

A really chill hangout spot for Deadheads and people of all ages and persuasions. You wont leave disappointed or hard of hearing, but you might leave a Grateful Dead fan!

Thoughtfully done remodel of an old bar. Museum-like memorabilia. Excellent sound system. Cool proprietors
