Recently visited and this was my first massage. Great experience! My massage therapist (Katrina) was awesome!! She listened to my needs and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Also the front desk receptionist (Shamere) had great customer service! I look forward to my next visit.
My spouse and I received a couples massage as a gift for Christmas. All of the staff were so very polite and professional! It was my first time getting a massage. Unfortunately, I do not remember my masseuses, name but she was so sweet! She communicated with me about my problem areas and made sure I was comfortable. We both left feeling amazing and very relaxed! Will definitely be back again soon!
Omg this place is disgusting. I booked an infared sauna appointment. I walked out after about 15 minutes. The infared lights kept breaking and turning off and the sauna was dusty and there were food crumbs on the floor of the room I was in. When I walked out 15 minutes into my appointment, the receptionist had the audacity to ask what card I wanted to be charged. So rude and really gross environment.
Why does this location not pick up the phone? I have left voicemails as well!This is not just once- this has happened 10-15 times before.. no matter what time you call no one picks up the phone. And no matter how many voice messages you leave, no one ever calls you back!What exactly is the receptionist doing here?This is a problem with only this location.I like one of the masseuse here, but I am gonna have to take my business elsewhere.Getting a person to answer your call should not be this hard!!
I rarely leave comments but I felt it was necessary so that this Massage Green can improve. I have seen multiple reviews here that haven’t been responded to with some of the same concerns I have. I have been to multiple Massage Green locations and I am a member here. I am always open to trying new therapists but today I had a massage from a male therapist and I was greatly underwhelmed. I choose three upgrades to my massage as well, so I expected a much better experience than I had. My masseuse didn’t introduce himself, and he seemed very inexperienced throughout the entire massage. Frankly, it seems like a massage a friend could have given me, which is very upsetting because I paid $95 for the entire experience. On top of the poor massage, he didn’t even walk me out and barely spoke to me at the end of the massage! I expect to get some sort of refund or a free massage after this experience because as a professional, chain spa I expect to get my money’s worth. As a member who pays monthly for these services, I will expect my time there to be spent well. He didn’t even provide me all of my upgrades!
This was by far the worst experience ever. The massage therapist looked extremely unkempt. The first thing that she did was take her whole forearm and rub it across my back. The only thing that I could think of is that she is totally contaminating my skin. She did not look clean at all. The person who booked for me gave very specific instructions as to what I wanted. I reiterated the same instructions when I came. The massage therapist kept deviating from the instructions, so I had to keep reminding her to stay on track. My best friend and I were actually in the same room, so she was literally having to instruct her massage therapist every step of the way as well. We were in the room with the sauna. The room was so stuffy that midway, neither one of us could breathe. Once we were done, I looked up in the ceiling and noticed what appeared to be mold or mildew, most likely from the sauna. Neither one of us were relaxed, and it was by far the worst experience ever at a massage salon. My friend actually spoke to the lady at the front desk about her experience, however, I did not really want to complain because my friend bought this massage for my birthday. I did not want to seem ungrateful, but... This experience was horrible. Im generally good about outlining my wants, but who would ever think to say, make sure that your massage therapist actually know how to massage, make sure that there is no mold or mildew in the ceiling so your clients dont choke, make sure that the therapist are clean... I mean, I dont want to sound rude, but it is what it is. Then... We come out the room and are handed these shot sized cups of water... We usually get bottled water everywhere else that weve been. There is nothing hydrating in a 2 oz cup. Im guessing they want you to use the faucet, but that makes no sense at all, especially if there are multiple people leaving out at the same time. As we know, its extremely important to hydrate after a massage so you wont feel intoxicated. But... On the other hand, if they are not really massaging then I guess feeling intoxicated by it all is a mute point. At some point we were questioning whether or not these people are really certified. We both had a bad experience, and definitely wont be back here again. Happy Birthday to me.
It was the worse experience. I had back and shoulder pain so I decided to schedule 60 minutes massage to heal it. When I first walked in I told the masseuse (Ryan) to concentrate on my shoulders especially my left shoulder coz I’m in pain and that’s the reason for my visit today. He started massaging my lower back in a way it was hurting and it was the most annoying massage ever and he totally ignored the areas that I told him about. Then he moved to my legs and he was massaging the side of my legs not the muscle that they usually massage which it did nothing to me and almost 50 minutes into my massage and he still didn’t touch the areas where I told him to concentrate on which we’re my shoulders and neck. I had to remind him few times. Finally he said you have only 5 minutes do you want me to do only one side not both shoulders. I was so close into waking out half way through my massage. I wasted my time and money and left with more pain than when I walked in. I tried to call the place after to complain about my visit, they won’t answer my calls. A week later and I’m still trying to call them. It was waste of money and time and now I have to find another place pay another fee for my back pain.
This was my first visit to this location, though I e used other locations for years. I gave two stars because the massage itself and facility were great. Unfortunately, they moved recently and failed to update the address on their app, receipts, and confirmation emails. So of course, I headed to the address in the confirmation email only to discover they’d moved. I called them after discovering an empty storefront and was given the new address. All of this made me about 20 minutes late for my 90 minute massage. None of this was my fault. I was charged the full price for a 90 minute massage but only received a 60 minute due to this. I was informed “it’s their policy”. No way to stop the charge as the app pre-collects a card. Pretty shady if you ask me. I won’t be back and I’ll be sure to spread the word.
The lack of responsibility from their establishment due to a mistake they made was appalling. Early in the week I called to check if I had any services left from a groupon I purchased more than a year ago. My only intent was to use up services I already paid for if I had sessions left. The lady I spoke to said I had one full massage and 3 sauna sessions. I was under the impression I only had sauna sessions left but I took them at their word and didnt think their system was mistaken. I scheduled a massage and sauna session. When I arrived, the receptionist asked me if I had the groupon because the voucher number wasnt in their system so I tried to pull up the one I had purchased. Long story short, someone accidentally entered the groupon twice and misinformed me about having services left. The receptionist offered an introductory rate massage for their mistake and I declined saying I didnt want the services because I only scheduled the appointment because of the groupon. They tried to charge me the cancellation fee aka the full charge of services because I didnt want to pay for their mistake and even threatened to call the cops on me when I said I was just going to walk away. After arguing with the manager she said she would cancel the appointment and I wouldnt have to pay the cancellation fee.A simple mistake could have been easily resolved but instead they tried to get me to cover their mistake and we had very unpleasant exchanges. The whole experience was pretty awful and unexpected.
I have been a member with massage green for almost 3 years. This was my first time going to the troy location. I made my appointment the same day 4 hours earlier which is impossible to do at the location I normally visit. Great location in Troy, and great front desk clerk, nice, approachable, and friendly. The room I was in had filthy carpet and huge grease stains on the walls that make you question if the staff cleans anything. I found it difficult to remove my clothing because of how dirty the room was. The woman giving me the massage was just going through the motions. The first bad massage Ive ever had. The best part of the whole experience, was in the lobby. Dont think I could return to this location.
Id like to start off by saying that the therapist was the BEST! Seriously.. she really knew the perfect spots to get my knots out.I want to come back to this therapist again, of course, but Im upset with the front desk/reception.I used a 1 hour massage gift card.. when I called to book the appointment I had asked how much it would cost to upgrade to an hour and a half and I was told it was $20 more for the extra half hour or $40 more for an extra hour. Not wanting to spend too much extra, I opted for the extra 30 minutes.After what might have been the best massage of my life, I was charged $50 for the extra half an hour and I was told the person who booked my appointment made a mistake and must have given me the member prices when I called.If I had known it would be that much extra, I would have just stuck with the one hour massage gift card that I had. You cant tell a client a service is going to cost X amount, and then charge them 2.5 times that amount after the service has been rendered.I want to come back to that therapist.. but I dont like how this company pulled this stunt and didnt even offer an apology. I just left a voicemail with the corporate number, so we will see what happens.Edit: I just received a voicemail from Laura, the manager, and she is going to fix the error in pricing for me. :) Great customer service!
Ive been regularly getting deep tissue massages for the past 4 years due to back pain from my work. Ive seen several different massage therapists at different locations, and while techniques may slightly vary between each therapist, the overall deep tissue massages have been pretty consistent. Up until today. This was my first time ever at a Massage Green SPA location.I was going to go see my regular therapist, but got a gift card for Massage Green Spa, so decided to use it. Needless to say, I dont know if the girl I saw today is in training to become a massage therapist, and honestly I would even question if she has a license in massage therapy. That was like me asking my friends who know nothing about massage therapy to try to attempt to give me a deep tissue massage. It was inexperienced to say the least. She would also leave the lotion bottle on top of me. Also, I was brought back late to my massage and released on time, so I didnt get my full time (thankfully in this case). The girl seemed nice, I just hope she improves with quite a bit more training, so people arent paying full price for such poor service.
They took me in LATE. I had an hour massage. They didn’t take me in until 4:15 but they stopped at 4:45. The room was cold, and air was blowing directly on me and the only thing I was offered was the heat on the bed to be turned UP. My therapist was a tall pale guy, who’s hands were ice cold just like his oil. No communication or asking me how it felt. My massage was supposed to be deep tissue, and I had target areas listed, but yet he massaged me no deeper than my skin. No deep pressure was really applied. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.
Great massages for a great value. The male therapists at this location are all outstanding. Ive never had a bad massage or even anything that came close to a mediocre massage. I always leave feeling amazing! The only issue is booking same day sometimes can be a problem as these guys book up fast and its easy to see why so I cant be too upset!
I dont even know my masseuses name because he never introduced himself but Im certain I must have had the same guy as another reviewer below. It was absolutely the worst massage Ive ever had in my life. And I get a deep tissue massage at least monthly, have been to spas all over this country and outside of the country. I get that there are different techniques and styles; but this felt like a complete lack of technique and experience. It was like the equivalent of me trying to give a massage. Ive had enough of them that I can mimic the movements, but I wouldnt do them well at all. And then he wouldnt let up on this one spot that was clearly very painful. I wanted the knot out as well, but whatever he called himself doing was just causing pain with no actual results. And the entire 90 minutes he did about 3 movements over and over again, poorly, and in a random order. Like he didnt know how to fill the time or limit his movement about the room. I told the lady at the front desk that I did not enjoy my massage; she seemed unsurprised but unconcerned as well. Needless to say I will not be going back.
Should be able to put zero stars. This review has to do with the receptionist and the masseuse. First, the receptionists name is Dee. When booking my massage, she said that I could add 30 minutes at the start of my massage if I show up a half hour early. OK, so I call her at 4:05pm. She tells me theres a customer ahead of me and puts me on hold. Doesnt ask what my call is pertaining to, just puts me on hold. 15 minutes later and the line hangs up on me. I call back and without apologizing for the hang up she just apologizes for the wait. OK, so maybe their exceptionally busy on a Thursday? I tell her that Im calling to give notice that I will be there a half hour early, so to make it a 90 minute massage. She checks with the masseuse and now theyre unable to add the extra 30 minutes. I said ok and waited in their waiting area. During my 30 minute wait, I overhear her on the phone talking to someone about how shes not from the Troy location and is just filling in. Clearly when she fills in somewhere she slacks in customer service. A parent was trying to schedule an appointment for their teen that was under 18. Instead of having them sign the correct parental waiver, I hear that she had them sign a prenatal waiver. Talk about liability risk. She doesnt pay attention to details. Then the masseuse comes out. Greets me just fine and was very friendly. My only grip is that they ended the massage a whole 15 minutes early. Im sorry, but I paid for a 60 minute massage, not 45. Make sure you get what you pay for, I surely didnt and I doubt Dee had a clue. Ive had this happen before, where the massage wasnt the full time. The receptionist immediately spoke with the masseuse and asked why it was early. They tried ending it early just like this masseuse did, so the receptionist gave me a gift card towards my next appointment. It definitely motivated me to book again. Not sure I will stay at Massage Green. May be time to seek better treatment.
I’m giving 2 stars because the receptionist was extremely nice and took off money from my massage after I told her my complaints. I went there for a 60 min deep tissue full body massage and cold stone facial. I arrived at 1:45 for my 2 o’clock appointment but didn’t go back until 2:15, the massage started around 2:20 and my massage therapist stopped at 3 o’clock on the dot, the bed I was on was broken, my massage therapist was nice but I’m not sure it was the job for her, she talked to me the entire time so I felt like I couldn’t relax, she had to fidget mwith the broken bed multiple times and stop my massage to do so, told me to get into a weird frog position to massage my hips which that made me uncomfortable, she then told me I was a guniea pig for, never gave me a full body massage, and the pressure applied was not deep tissue. She massaged my neck, my arms, and my sides. I left my massage feeling more stressed out and upset that I even paid money for what I received.
So disappointed. I had the worst massage at this location. Massage therapist was very unprofessional during entire massage. She left the lights on high, bed was freezing, and was packing a box during my massage. The therapist is very rude and super rough during massage and never once asked about pressure. I was very uncomfortable during the whole thing and at the end she just walked away not even greeting me at the door to walk me out. So unprofessional and will not be returning.
I would not recommend this establishment for a massage. Although my massage therapist was friendly. I would say the massage was mediocre at best.. plus the establishment itself is a disaster. Ripped up leather stools, dirty stains on floor along with giant leak stain on the ceiling. I went in for a calming massage and I couldn’t help but wonder if the roof would start leaking on my head while lying naked on the massage table. That is far from relaxing. I’m very dissatisfied with my first visit here. So much so that I wish I would have asked for a refund.
Let me just say I NEVER fall asleep during massage but this time I did! I was SUPER relaxed! My issues are my shoulders and neck and Tonya had me relaxed and also sore at the same time which is how I like to feel after a massage! Very impressed will book again.
I didnt care for the massage therapist that I was assigned to. He kept asking concerning questions that worried me but wouldnt give me the reasons why he was asking. He even made comments that made me feel very uncomfortable. Over all, it wasnt really a good experience and I would never get a massage from him again. I had no choice of therapist at the time because he was the only one available.
It was my worst experience in my life it was so stressful I am not recommend to anyone the Location and the parking lot is the worst thing ever. the therapist something wrong with him and no communication it’s not professional at all the way he dressed up his nail is long digging to my skin and I have a scar in my shoulder take a piece of my skin and it’s his name is Ryan it should be full body massage he keeps massage my shoulder he did not do his job right . You guys need to hired professional people. And the place was not clean it’s not worth to go and get stressed out more than I relaxed. Advice hire professionals please .
I was told that this location recently changed management and are somehow not required to follow standard protocol for Massage Green locations. They no longer offer standard extras, like hot towels, for members, and are generally difficult to work with. Every time I go there they seem to have lost all record of me, which is annoying, and twice our massages have been cut short because the previous one went long, while still being charged full price. Some of the therapists are great--recommend Pam--but not sure if Ill keep going to this location.
I have continued coming to this location in spite of their being significantly more expensive than other locations ... until now. Today I drove45 miles to find out my appointment had been canceled due to their employee not coming in. Is it snowing - yes, it is. Is this Michigan where it snows - also yes! Hire folks who come to work. Also, you might consider a sincere apology and possibly an upgrade on the next service(sauna is not an incentive) to keep your customers. I’ll be working my credits down at an alternate location and then finding another massage option.
I scheduled myself for an hour of massage and facial. I will divide my review into two parts. I just want to say employees were very nice and friendly and my frustration comes from the results of services I received.1. Massage. I was scheduled for a relaxing massage and usually I like decent pressure. I voiced it answering how strong I wanted the pressure to be. After massaging my back, my masseuse started doing moves as from physical therapy (PT) ( I went to PT for 3 month because of injury to my back). She started really pushing on certain areas of my neck and back making it uncomfortable and painful as when you get bruised from the injury. She started stretching me, and I thought it was more improvising because I didn’t feel or hear a solid explanation or support for those stretches (pelvis and hips) and I didn’t feel comfortable with that because you have to have physical therapist degree to perform those stretches and treatment; remember, I came just for a relaxing massage. Then, the masseuse started “cracking” my neck, head, hips, arms, and back by stretching and by sharp movements as I was at a chiropractor office. I felt even more uncomfortable because it would be a totally different area of treatment and practice with totally different level of knowledge ( I went to chiropractor for years and know it can be a hit or a miss and how dangerous their practice can be for the patients). After all concerning and uncomfortable experience next morning I had a sharp back pain as I had a year ago with my back injury when I had to go to PT. It was almost a week now and I still have those pains every morning. It improves with stretches I learned at Physical Therapy though. Not coming back for sure.2. Facial. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Breath… ok, I attached pictures of my totally ruined skin. I included pictures of areas of my eyes and chin before and after facial (I submitted my pictures on my Yelp review). Backstory: I have my skin care routine and I order different facial serums, moisturizers, and eye creams on Amazon and I never have issues with the products. It means I don’t have severely sensitive skin. I explained my esthetician I use facial serum, eye cream, and Retinol or collagen moisturizers every day, and areas around my eyes might be more sensitive ( no sh..t, right, it is more sensitive by definition). Facial took also an hour: some massage, spraying with something, mask, creams, massaging again, “steaming” face to clean up some areas. It didn’t feel painful or uncomfortable at the time. That evening I was not able to clean my face or apply my routine facial care products because of severe burning around my eyes, my chest, neck, and some random areas on my face. After this happening for several days, my skin on my neck, chin, eyes, and face started peeling off, burning like it was chemically burned/destroyed. It has been a week already and my skin is still in a horrible condition: burning, itching, and inflamed at baseline or when I just try to wash it with water. For a week I am not able to apply any regular facial cleansers, use my cleanser facial brush, not able to apply ANY of my regular facial products because it is extremely painful and all my skin becomes more inflamed and dry. Vaseline? Oil? Yep, the only things are tolerable. I think, I will file a complaint to their corporate but I am pretty sure it is not going to do anything. Esthetician mentioned I had mostly normal skin with some oily skin areas. Well, thank you, I definitely don’t have this problem anymore because all my skin extremely dry, peeling off, and chemically damaged. 😢
Paid for 60 minutes and got 45 minutes. This is the second time this happen. When I asked why, no one could tell me.Whats the propose of coming early like they asked me to. if they STILL take you back 10 minutes late and stop 10 minutes before time.
First Time and last time. Visited this location a week and half ago with 3 other girlfriends for my Birthday. We all went into our massages at the same time and my massage was cut 15mins early. Fact: there was a clock in my room. I awaited my friends in lobby while their time wasn’t cut short. My massage therapist came right out after me with her coat and purse rushing out. I assumed that’s why My massage was cut bc she had to leave. When I asked the front desk about it they explained, 15mins is used to dress and undress when a hour massage was paid for and also stated that it’s not really a full hour. They told me manager will contact me, manager never did nor returned my calls. I felt cheated!
It’s my husband and I anniversary tonight7-14. I made reservations with the spa the day before around 7 pm7-13, not knowing he made us reservations somewhere else at the exact same time which was at 8 pm. I called to try to reschedule the appointment I was told that the policy is to cancel before 9 the day before. First off I never was told about any such policy and remember I made the appointment at 7 ish. I was told if I didn’t show up I was going to get charged 156.00 anyways. First and last time coming here trying to move all other reservations around now Customer service here is horrible
Charles is the best massage therapist out there! Very knowledgeable and knows So much more then other massage therapist. Not to mention the front desks always takes care of appointments and tries their hardest to work with your schedule. Great place!
Was vary clean and friendly staff but felt rushed. Wife and I had a 60 minute couples massage and she enjoyed hers. Mine was vary ridged and like we were just going through the motions. I had a hard time getting relaxed to really enjoy my time here. I think we will try somewhere else next time.
I have been here multiple times and love it. Jaclyn, the manager is always accommodating and the few times I have had a problem with something - she handles it right away or offers a solution to the problem. The therapists here are nothing short of professional. Sue is phenomenal, and as someone who has really bad back pain - I always leave feeling brand new.The only issue they really have here is their upper management - I had a few issues at a different store roughly 3 or 4 months ago and they have yet to call me back. It doesnt seem like they care.
I purchased a membership Stretch Smart Infrared Therapy (located inside Massage Green in Troy) and due to the pandemic, services were prohibited. Since restrictions have been lifted, they do not have a Sports Therapists to administer the stretches. I have called repeatedly to get a refund or transfer of the 13 stretches I have left several messages to no avail. They will not return my calls, I called another location and although they are listed on the Stretch Smart website, they Have no idea what Stretch Smart is. Its very frustrating because this service was great for my sciatica and I would prefer to continue. I understand that COVID closed down many small businesses, but to not communicate with the customer is unacceptable. I do not advise anyone to patronize Massage Green in Troy and I certainly will not ever again.
My husband and I came in for a couples massage for our 1 year anniversary. I was disappointed to say the least. This facility is VERY dirty from the highly stained carpet to the spills and dirt in the walls. Because of their strict cancellation policy I went ahead and had the massage done but was reluctant. The massage was average. I probably wont return.
I didn’t think it was possible to have a “really bad massage”. Well, I had one... the worst massage I ever had. I figured the guy was brand spanking new (awful pressure, either “rubbing lotion” or “strangling”, using only finger tips, no kneading or stretching, and I wanted to scream Each minute that went by was like an eternity I was cringing the whole time and I could not wait for it to be over. Dont bother booking online because they cant accommodate anything other than basic massage even if you book otherwise. They also called to tell me this 40 min before my appointment started. Very unprofessional. I will say the girl who called seemed very nice.
If you want an amazing massage, make sure to book with Carlo. He is truly skilled and knowledgeable in his feild. You can tell that he wants each and every client to leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. His deep pressure is spot on and he uses long flowing strokes masterfully. I will be recommending all of my friends to him!
I bought my husband a gift card from this location for a 1 hour massage at Massage Green. He used it at the Birmingham location. NEVER AGAIN!!! He used the gift card and was made to pay an EXTRA $40. CAN YOU SAY FALSE ADVERTISEMENT? I am so upset that he had to pay extra for a gift that I purchased for him to enjoy at no extra charge! They will Never get my business AGAIN!
The staff (Shakira & Alexis), were friendly & very professional. Shakira did my massage, and it was AMAZING! I will definitely be going back.
DON’T BOOK ONLINE!!! I booked two massages at the Troy Michigan location for a treat while traveling. Got there to check in and the computer booked us at a California site. The receptionist told us this has happened before and that it was reported to corporate who didn’t fix it! Totally ruined our day! Not troys fault but blaming corporate. Never again!
This was my first visit, i made them aware that i would be arriving late due to my work restrictions way before my appointment, they were unwillingly to work with me in any way to rebook for a later time or reschedule for another day.Also, they threatened to charge my card the amount of a 1 hour message of 50.00 if i didnt show. I show up late, cant get the one hour message, like i told them way in advance, and they still charged me 50.00 any way and let me do a 45 min. Sauna heat which was only supposed to be 19.99. I brought a friend cause it was his bday. I wont do this again.

I and my husband drove all the way to dearborn, 50 minutes drive almost.On our arrival at 2:55 pm, we were told our reservation was not at Dearborn location but at Troy location!!! Are you kidding me??I called Troy office and call was handled by a very low IQ level representative, who wouldnot undertand my conversation. Our conversation was as below:Me: I called earlier and I was told my appointment is confirmed at Dearborn location and I confirmed with the previous representative about groupon and location.Representative: Ma’am we dont accept groupon at Troy location but your reservation is at Troy location.Me: what do you mean? I called and I made reservation and confirmed everything. Previous representative had closed loop conversation with me.Representative: Ma’am now you can drive from Dearborn to TroyMe: its 55 minutes drive!! Troy was close to my house but we drove all the way to Dearborn as per what I was told.Representative: Ma’am, we will charge your credit card for same day cancellationMe: are you serious? First I was misinformed, we did not get any services, we did not cancel out. I wont use groupon, she should have mentioned that to me earlier instead of confirming everything.Representative: Ma’am as per my manager We will charge you for no show up.Me: it will take me 55 minutes, would you give us services if i arrive after 55 minutes.Representative: yes for 5 minutes as your reservation was for 60 minutes. we dont have any other availability for today. And we will charge your card!!!!I was soo frustrated by the whole thing that I hung up.5 minutes after my hanging up the call, my credit card was charged twice.Instead of relaxation, me and my husband had to go through this for almost 3-4 hours, which ruined our day and weekend, as I still can not get this thing out of my mind.I canceled my groupon coupon. And I will never ever in my life use their services again.It could not get worse than this. This was by far, the worse experience of my life!! All they want is your money!!
I have been getting massages from Anthony for about 2 years. Not only is he the best masseuse I have ever had!! He can tell if my body is unaligned or exactly where my pain is at by my walk. Having a lumbar strain & sciatic nerves have been tolerable after spending 90 minutes a week with Magic Hands Anthony😉!! I wouldnt DARE get another massage from anyone else!! #TEAMANTHONY ALL THE WAY!! IF this location ever loses Anthony I would be DEVASTATED. I have referred 10 people who also loved their massage.
DO NOT BOOK A FACIAL. I had a facial and made sure document my rosacea and sensitivity. The therapist said that I didnt have sensitive skin...um... thats what rosasea is.... The day after, I broke out in an itchy rash. I called in the AM and spoke with the manager, she said she needed to talk to the therapist and call me back. Well, guess what? No call back. I called and she had left for the day. Also, I had the groupon that included the infared sauna session and no one mentioned this. This also happened when I purchased a massage groupon for a friend.
Horrible experience! Scheduled 2 facials and a massage for a girls day at this location. Got there only to find out that the esthetician was not there! Staff was apologetic and offered upgrades on next visit, but really how do you bounce back from a girls day gone bad? First and last time at this location.
Was appalled at the lack of skill my therapist had, being asking to pay $139 for a deep tissue massage felt like a joke. Certainly not the place to go for anything more than a basic massage, if even that.
Got a deep tissue massage from Elaina Abdullah, If u can call that. At any given time in that 1 hr, she used two fingers and 1 hand for mildly touching my back. For this service I paid $100. Not coming back.
My first time every going. Staff was nice and polite. Felt like a new woman. Every spot I was going to tell her to get she got and I didnt have to say a word. I will DEFINITELY be back.
Definitely go see Linda. Came in with bad back, shoulder and neck pain, and recently twisted my knee. Walked out with no pain and a dramatic increase to my range of motion. It was truly a different experience from any massage Ive ever had.

Ive never had a bad massage here. Every therapist is skilled and talented and I love the front lobby with the fireplace. Very relaxing and soothing. I could just fall asleep.

Very professional, adaptive and kind.MASSAGE GREENE AS A SPA is terrible, this location one of the worse, manage/owner is a horrible person........membership is trick to pay a recurring fee. Want to cancel now Im trapped, after several calls and told By Grosse Pointe I Cant cancel with another location I have to travel to the original site....crock of crap.Wish I could bottle Carlos great therapist, crappy organization.
Tonya gave me the best deep tissue massage. I’m a therapist and hold tension in my head and neck, and she completely relieved me of all my pain and tension. Highly recommend her services!

Had no problems. Took one star off due to the sauna not being available and cups of water they had were in shot sized cups. Please get a normal sized cup and maybe some tea.

They raised the contract prices without any notification which is not correct and cheating their customers.Even I called the corporate since they should respect the contract and the answer was it’s written on the contact that they can change the price without any notificationI canceled the contract with them and I’m going to another massage center
This place is extremely dirty, there towels smell like mildew and nasty laundry detergent. The lady at the desk was rude. The fliofl were filthy just like the bathroom. Ive been to a different massage green and it was great. Dont go to this one, their prices are twice the other locations. Horrible

Im so sad this place went downhill in the last year :( Id give 4 stars had I wrote this review in October 2016, but would give 2 now. Felt it was necessary to meet in the middle with this my only review. I thought I had found a great place for my monthly massages - Carlos is by far the best - listened to my needs and massaged accordingly. I had looked past the steadily decreasing maintenance (dirty carpet, nonworking speakers/music, dirty bathrooms) of the facility bc Carloss massages were worth it. However, when I went in last time they had completely changed my massage therapist without my knowledge and told me it was that person or I had to inconveniently wait and rebook. Not cool! Ive decided to take my monthly 2hr massages elsewhere.
Overall good experience with the massage.. I just dont care for how they charge you if youre late or if you cant make your appointment😣 theyre facials give you life though😍

Worst place...no professionalism ...they say 1 hr massage n call 10 min late inside n other 10 mins time is given to get settle inside the room...n they finish 5 mins early...the guy says sorry ur time is up cant complete massage...theirs no response from management even after complaining ...the guy who did massage had some medical issue..was breathing harder ..no idea wat was wrong with him
