Beautiful and scenic resort nestled by the Tucson mountains. Nudist resort where clothes are not required anywhere. We found the other patrons and staff to be very friendly. We got involved in a fun pool volleyball game where we met lots of nice people. The food is good. The rooms are adequate, not luxury. We will return!
What a blast. Went the second week of May. People of every shape and color who were so friendly and fun. Me and my girl had the best day getting our base sunburns for summer. It was her first time and she was shy ut not for long. Super safe place. Absolutely stunning property which is new for me with these kinds of places. Usually they are bare bones. Great drinks at the bar. Highly highly recommend!
This was my first visit to Mira. Stayed in a Hacienda for one night, but was able to come in early and enjoy the amenities before my room was ready. Jen was very accommodating and I was able to get into my room a little earlier than 2:00. Walked the perimeter road around the complex to get an idea of the facility. Both Jen and Lindy were very helpful and they made great margaritas! Enjoyed the conversation pool, and met some great people, some that had been there many times, others were rookies like me, all were very friendly. Thanks Again Mira Vista for a Great stay! I will definitely be back next year but will stay for the weekend, so I can enjoy the Cafe, Karaoke, etc. ps. Also had a 90 minute massage with Janet, the massage was awesome!!!!
We had a really great time staying our first time with this. The loungers could use an update. If youre coming to stay your first time, spend the little extra and get the better room. We really enjoyed staying there and will return.
My wife and I loved this place. It was our first time doing something like this and we felt super safe there and the people were super friendly! We will come back soon!
The drive into the resort make it seem as a gated community. There is no camping unless u have an Rv, there are condos on the property. Two pools water is clear. Friendly staff. Showers and believe food at some point. We got a day pass to cool off. Good for a stop through to be nude not so much extended.
Spent the day at this resort, located in the gorgeous Sonoran desert, surrounded by Saguaro cacti. Check in was quick and easy, a short tour is provided for new guests. I’ve been here many times now and have always felt safe and comfortable as a woman here. There’s a small bar, as well as a restaurant that’s open only on weekends. There’s a small shed that contains pool floaties to borrow, be sure to ask front desk to show you where it is. Spending the day swimming at Mira Vista is a must!
Very nice place for no hassle, quiet r&r au naturale. We try to grab a long weekend every couple of months. We rent a condo which are well appointed and spacious with a full kitchen. There are also small casitas without kitchens and some RV hookups. The grounds and facilities are very well maintained. Everyone is friendly and respectful. The property is tucked in the desert hills outside of Tucson with nice views of the surrounding landscape. There are several dining and drinking options close by off property if you dont want to cook or take advantage of the cafe that is open on weekends. They do a good breakfast with cocktails available if you like to start your day with a bloody Mary or screwdriver. We usually cook otherwise. The pool is heated for the chilly days and comfortable all the time. There is a large spa area perfect for evening hanging out. We really dont take advantage of the club lounge where they have a bar and music but its open on weekends. There are a lot of Tucson locals that seem to be there every weekend and there are pretty active pickleball and water volleyball groups on Saturday and Sunday. We havent seen it ever too crowded so please dont go when we are there!
Parked our RV, plugged into power and basically run to the pool area. Wife and I enjoyed two great days visiting with the staff and new friends.Big hot tub is spacious and accommodating. Smaller hot tub was great for an enjoyable evening soak.Washroom and shower was clean.Beautiful facility and we will be back !!!!!
Beautiful location and grounds. Cannot wait to return and enjoy more time. Hopefully, there will be more of a mix of men and women in the future. Was all men when I attended. Makes an uncomfortable experience for some women.
Fun place to relax. Main pool was green but rear one was nice. Friendly staff and nice food.
We loved this place. We went on the 4th of July and had a blast. When lucked out. We showed up and was told that the AC in our hotel room was broken and they had to put us in a different place. Oh great I thought. Here we go. Well the difference room was the owners 2 bedroom condo which was totally awesome. What a fun time with great people.
Can I give 10 stars? Spent an amazing long weekend here. DJ, Mardi Gras Dance was a blast, danced the night away. Awesome sport games, gym, hot tubs, pools, conversational pool. Gift shop. Bar. Lovely paths to walk our pups. Once you pay for room, everything is very reasonably priced. Weve only been to LagunaDelSol, sister resort, and this did not disappoint! Next time well bring RV.
Went today July 9 2024 was very slow but loved it great service very enjoyable will go again
Our first time to visit. We took our RV. we enjoyed the pool. It was nice to have a bar on site. We didn’t get to try the restaurant because it was closed for the week. Staff is very helpful. It was very clean.
Wow!!! Truly a gem. We stopped by to take a tour and ended up getting a room. This place is so neat and clean, the staff was so nice and welcoming. The whole property is meticulously kept and it shows. We are here on a week day and its perfect, not too many people, yet still plenty of friendly folks to chat with if your feeling social! Out of the nude resorts weve been to this one ranks high on the list. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you want to get some sun on your buns! We will definitely 100% be back. Weekends are said to get pretty busy so if you want laid back go on a week day.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful ❤️ We had a wonderful time, people were very nice and pools were awesome. Definitely will be returning
I am an unescorted male and made to be welcome. Ive been many times, spent the night often, day visits more often. Really enjoy the staff, the restaurant. The rooms are neat clean, and beds comfortable. I would join, but my schedule is so screwed up that I may not be able to get there often enough to make it worth while. A Saturday from just before noon to about sundown is a perfect day. Ive been to resorts all over the US and Mira Vista is by far my favorite.
My boyfriend and I went there and had fun but we were smoking marijuana and we left with no problems. However, when we return to spend our Labor Day we were told that we are never allowed back because of the marijuanaThey refuse service to those who have done nothing wrong?
We had a wonderful time here. People are incredibly friendly, our room was well appointed and comfortable, we really enjoyed watching the sunsets and listening to the birds and even watching the bats at dusk. We are a little less social than it seems most folks here are and my partner and I dont drink, so we mostly enjoyed early morning times by the pool, when things were quiet. We would definitely consider visiting again.
We’ve been to two other similar places and Mira vista is our fave! It’s got a lot of seating and multiple pools. The staff is very polite. The local restaurant is great and it’s close to lots of food options in town. Loved the air b n b we stayed in and will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed Mira Vista, we stayed two nights in a room right next to the pool. It’s a very laid back, relaxing place. The grounds are well kept and the staff was friendly. If I were to “comment” on the only thing that really didn’t flow was the cantina during the day, not a complaint but it kinda took a long time just to grab a couple beers. Maybe because you had day visitors paying with a credit card instead of a room charge that slowed it down, but I’m not complaining. Breakfast was very good with an awesome view of the sombrero mountain. I wish I had brought my pickleball stuff because they had a really good turnout while we were there. The crowd while we were there appeared to be snowbirds escaping the cold, I’m envious and I hope to be in their flip flops some day. When my wife and I started enjoying the nudist lifestyle we were usually the youngest ones there, now it seems like we’re catching up. To be brief we enjoyed mira vista and can’t wait to go back. If you’re wanting to try the nudist lifestyle, give it a try, it will give you a more open view of life, no pun intended. I would say Mira Vista would be a great place for first timers to try social nudity.
Excellent friendly staff, other guests are amazing, beautiful clean pools, over all a wonderful experience. We bought day passes, but I wish we had just stayed in one of the rooms! Next time we definitely will. 5 stars.
We had such a wonderful and relaxing time. After about two hours the rest of the world seemed so far away and we were just at peace. We took advantage of everything here. The lounge area, the hot tubs, the pools, and the room were exceptional. The restaurant was amazing and we got terrific massages from Stacey. The staff were so welcoming and lovely, and the other guests were awesome! We felt like we fit right in with an amazing family of wonderful people. We will definitely be returning!
We were in Tucson recently and on our to-do, list was a stop at Mira Vista resort. We were anxious to visit as we’d heard a lot of positive comments. We were greeted by Jen who gave us a quick but thorough tour of the site. She also served as bartender and was cheerful and friendly – we appreciate you, Jen! The resort itself is beautiful and maintained very nicely. It’s worth mentioning that the restaurant and bar are closed during the week, but they have a cantina to get drinks. We were only able to go during the week so there were maybe 15-20 other people during the time we were there, some residents and some members. Everyone was very friendly, and we had some nice conversations. .They have a small hot tub toward the office, a main pool, a smaller pool they use for volleyball and a larger, heated conversation pool. All of which were very nicely maintained. The pool area is the only place where you are required to be nude, the rest of the resort you can cover yourself up if you like. It’s so relaxing. There is plenty of shade available and the misters were running so the heat was never an issue. We had such a nice time there we made it a point to go back a couple days later on our way out of town. We’ve been to clothing-optional/nude locations. Mira Vista stands really stands out for its relaxed vibe, friendly residents, and staff. We felt right at home here and can’t wait to return.
I just loved this clothing optional resort! The staff, guests and residents are exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is a welcoming place even if you are a first-time visitor. The rooms are large, very comfortable and scrupulously clean. The huge conversation pool is where I spent much of my time, loving the warm, sunny winter days and the great company. Several newly-found friends even invited me to a hike up nearby Sombrero Peak for a challenging outing - just great people. Go check out this lovely resort and have fun. Dont forget to NOT pack that bathing suit!
This is a clothing optional resort. Staff is friendly and the grounds are qell kept. Modern in most places but the place shows it age in others. Rooms are comfortable and the three pools allow for a wide range of use.
Nice resort with a good array of activities. The view is fantastic, as well. We just visited for the day. We had lunch in the restaurant which was reasonably priced and delicious. They even let you leave your credit card at the desk for any charges to be made at the bar and restaurant by just giving your name. Great place to visit.
This place exceeded my expectations. Weve been to several nudist resorts and campgrounds, but none of them felt as well-maintained as Mira Vista. Everything from the pool, the hot tub, the comfortable seating area overlooking the beautiful views, the gardens, and the restaurant were impeccably maintained. We were welcomed at the office by a very friendly women who registered us for our day trip before taking us on a tour of the grounds. All the facilities are within quick walking distance from each other but it doesnt feel cramped or crowded. The restaurant has a limited menu, but that is to be expected since they have a limited number patrons.Since this is a nudist resort, and carrying a wallet around can be inconvenient when you dont have pockets, you can leave a credit card on file with the front desk (even as a day guest). This will allow you to purchase food and drinks without worrying about carrying cash and credit cards.
The only game in town for........beautiful location. There is a lot of deferred maintenance, the lounge is overcrowded on busy weekend event nights, to the point of being dangerous in the event of a fire. There is no security at the front gate or on the property at all and in this day and age it is inexcusable. The kitchen staff try hard and are very accommodating. The setting is alluring, but the new condos have added to overcrowding of facilities. The owner likes to yell at members when they inform him of issues.
Clean and friendly, Mira Vista Resort is a lovely spot to get some sun, take a dip in the pool and make new friends. Naturists are the nicest people! If this is your first visit to a family friendly clothing optional resort, please visit their website to read about guidelines.
Ive been living here for about a year. Some of the people here are sexually perverse in my opinion since the resort has added condos. There are unwanted advances from some of the people that live here. And some that stay at the resort.I first came here about 10 years ago when it was just a resort. At the time the people that visited here were wonderful. Now everything has changed. The owners Wayne and Suzanne have been horrible and mean from my perception. I believe they have cut corners on the building of the condos. The condo I live in has been here less then 5 years and is falling apart. Cracks in the tiles on the floor and cracks through out the walls. Black mold has formed all around on the untreated wood. The home owners had to come together to try and solve issue. We pay a H.O.A and the landscape is not up to par in my opinion. Management from my perception is relaxed at best. We have been dealing with a horrible bug and ant problem with no help from management. Some of the home owner have came together to try and come up with solutions as problem keep coming. Not all people here are bad. Within this resort living. There are some gems here w/unwavering kindness. Please remember this is my experience and my opinion. I recommend educating yourself about the places you would like to visit. Not everyone opinion or perception is the same. This one is mine and I stick beside it 100 percent.
Pool area was great as was upkeep on the grounds. Two of three meals at Cafe were great one mediocre. Drinks good. Entertainment just OK. DJ showed up late and had so so selection of music. Obviously pleasing himself and not the very small crowd. No music by pool. Gave off staid atmosphere.
Visited here in 2020 for a weekend with my partners and we LOVED it. Have returned a couple times for a day pass and can’t wait to get back here this week for a few days of true relaxation.
Love Tucson. The weather is excellent. The resort has great pools and water volleyball on the weekends - my favorite thing to do on the weekend. The views are amazing to us (from the East coast). This is our happy place!
Nice pools and staff. Main bar and disco are only open Friday and Saturday????. Nothing to do after dark on the other days.
Who would have guessed? A clothing optional Resort in the outskirts of Tucson!! The grounds are very nice, beautiful tennis courts, the reception area is very pleasant. But the rooms are really skeevy. They can be rented by the hour, the afternoon, or longer-term. But I wouldnt want to stay in one.
Had a great time, very relaxing. The weight room was more than adequate. The grounds are well maintained. The staff is very friendly. This was my second stay, both were well worth the money.
What a great place. The bar is fun on Friday and Saturday nights and Scott the bartender is great. Food is good but the place could use better lighting in the restaurant. The Sonoran Steak Salad is good. There are motel rooms (casitas) and condos for rent. You can also buy a condo here. There are 5 RV spots, which are usually reserved so make a reservation in advance. The guests and members are friendly and the place is immaculate. We love Mira Vista.
Ive been to many nudist resorts all over the nation while full time RVing, this is one of the best. Recreational pool, relaxing pool, conversational medium temperature pool and hot tub. Horseshoes, shuffleboard, pickleball, condos to buy or rent. Scenery is awesome, bar and restaurant on site. The staff is excellent, a lot of contact with Brent, he was friendly, professional and very nice.
We had a great weekend stay in one of the Casitas. Very friendly staff and guests. The landscaping was very beautiful and it is an incredibly peaceful place. We will certainly be back in the future!
The visit was a day pass and everything was absolutely lovely. Several pools and shady spaces with music playing. Friendly office staff midweek wasnt crowded at all.
Ive been a guest of this resort about a good handful plus times and absolutely love it, so I see they had a potion open and thats were I went wrong. Gate issues with the owner? You cant open your own gate for someone?and wrong information from the lady I find has a bit of a tud in her tone... Im just so sad I love this place, maybe that was sign or a quick dismissal.
So this place is really nice and VERY clean. However we went on weekdays. It was pretty dead. I am told to go on a weekend. But that is my bad. Staff was very friendly. We would go back. But on a weekend.
Its a wonderful, beautiful resort we love spending time here. The front desk ( Lindy and Patty)could be a little more friendly, the reception is, they could careless if youre there or not. Its to bad
Very nice resort! Management and staff keep the resort in top condition. love the new patio area with outdoor seating By the pickle ball court.
This place is amazing, so relaxing. Hot tubs were great. The food is pretty good too.
Had an annual membership and loved it. Spending time in another part of the country, so did not renew.
Love the mountain side views, the rooms are so rustic. Alot with covid restrictions so not alot going on, but once things lift the lounges will be back, so excited for that. Pools, yard games, and just relaxing madr my trip awesome . ( lol take sun block lol)
Excellent nude resort! Have had multiple day passes and never a bad experience! Upscale, classy, and conveniently located. Thumbs up!
I have been going to Mira Vista since before it opened, I belong to a NLG and AANR, we always have a great time and the people are always friendly. It is a great place to hang out with any age and you see families here often which Is always good to see the tradition go on into the next generation.
Just visited for the day, but had a great day there, the place is clean and grounds well maintained, everyone was friendly..
Stunning views wow! Staff is friendly too. Make sure you have the money to spend! It goes quick 😂
Great scenery, immaculate grounds. All appropriate COVID19 restrictions are observed. We really like Mira Vista and its relaxed atmosphere.
Beautiful grounds, sparkling clean pools, friendly and helpful staff. One of my Happy Places :-) Great to have everything open again after Covid!
A great nude resort to visit. Everything feels clean with multiple pools to enjoy. The restaurant serves great food, and there is both a lounge and a bar.
You want the west, you got it. This is as good as it gets. Home cooked meals and good people. Loved all the animals, horses, rabbits, two nice lil dogs and most of all just a good get away from everyday life. Come see for yourself...!
We love this place, our first visit there was before the first condos opened. And those new buildings have just provided a lot more great people to meet and make friends with.
Well-kept grounds finely manicured cacti immaculate pools, 38-person conversation hot tub. Friendly service. Happy people.
The staff at this location really made me feel comfortable and it was half the reason I stayed overnight thank you so muchJessica.. answered all my questions and took care of all my needs I will be back
Love spending time au naturel.!! very nice place, quaint, friendly.
Very professionally run, so if you want 5 star accommodation , you will get that from Maria Vista. And its not out of your way. A must for ALL naturists.
Very nice resort. We rented one of the condos. They are well appointed and quite spacious. The grounds are immaculate.
Its a great place to spend a holiday weekend. The people here are top notch, easy to get to know folks. Stay in one of the condos, theyre worth the extra money.
Really nice, fun slightly upscale place - stay for a day, night, week or forever. Great convenient location with awesome views
Mira Vista resort is a very nice clothing optional resort! Well appointed, safe, family oriented, fun place.
What a Beautiful Resort. My wife and I had a great time. We will definitely be back soon.
It is a high-end nudist resort where the visitors and staff are very friendly. It is located five miles from my home and therefore have never stayed in a room.
Fantastic! Pools were very nice. Great hospitality also. Wish we had more time ☺️
Love this place. One of my favorite resorts to go to. Clean and friendly. Restaurant is wonderful.
A great place to shed your clothes and do some tan maintenance!
We would have liked to tour the rooms for future reference but were unable.
Wonderfully relaxing, friendly guests, top notch restaurant on the grounds. Great getaway.
Awesome experience for a first timer. They you feel at home and like family....highly recommend.
Relaxing. Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. 3 nice pools. Nice amenities.
Given the scarcity of naturist places in the U.S., it may be considered among the best spots of this kind. Very friendly people and friendly atmosphere overall.
Beautiful area. Well maintained.i hope they can add more RV sites in the future.
Spent the day using the facilities. Nice place. Minus one star because their restaurant was closed
Very nice facility, well maintained. Shopping is within 2 miles. Beautiful sunsets.
Love the resort, but please upgrade the lounge chairs by the pool. Am planning to visit soon.... :-)
Always positive vibes in a very relaxing environment. I wish I could get out there more often
Very pleasant atmosphere. Always enjoy my time there.
Clean kept....good home cooked food...helpful friendly staff... up to date workout facilities
I was there only on a day pass. $35 for the visit
My wife and I like this place, clean, staff is friendly, and the guests are outstanding.
The residents take pride in their homes and decorate the exteriors with precision and personality.
Awesome place super chill nudist resort... Always nice there
Clean modern Resort. Good food. Reasonably priced drinks.
I was there on business the location is not the best but if you want to play tennis, badminton, or grill while nude you most likely wont care.
Best time had. Very relaxing and lots of vitamin D3.
Great place !! We’re local so we’re there about 2 times a week
Very relaxing and the people are very friendly and family oriented.
Beautiful facility. Amazing amenities. Decent staff.
