STAY AWAY! DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS! READ THE OTHER REVIEWS. ON 3/11/24 I PAID EXPEDIA $55.34 FOR A ROOM ON 4/01/24. WHEN I ARRIVED I WAS TOLD THEY DONT TAKE ONLINE RESERVATIONS. IT WAS LATE SO I HAD TO PAY $80 PLUS $30 SECURITY DEPOSIT (WHICH I DIDNT GET BACK) FOR A FILTHY ROOM. ONLY 1 LIGHT WORKED AND TV DIDNT WORK. I AM GOING TO FILE A FRAUD COMPLAINT.

Booked the spot on 1/22/24 via Priceline. Arrived around 1:30 a.m. The front desk decided with another person who hid behind the corner that they stopped accepting online reservations months ago. Immediately, I asserted my position being it was such a ridiculous hours. Undeterred, they offered me the switch-a-roo option. Basically, cancel the 3rd party and rebook for the same price. Not anybody I want to do business with. Apparently many of this vendors feel slighted working with 3rd party booking sites.

Avoid this hotel, they do not honor online reservations. They used to be OYO hotel and take reservations using the OYO brand name, but now they are not part of OYO so they do not honor any reservations. The frontdesk crew are extremely rude.

This hotel is the most dirty hotel Ive experienced in my life. The person who was in charge on 04/23/2022 night, he didnt want to help me cancel my reservation after i confirmed the air conditioning was out of order and said air-conditioning was ok knowing that it was not true. Expedia didnt refunded me because he said he offered another room, which was smoking room and I didnt agree.The sheet was ripped, bathroom [ if that is called a bathroom))) was dirty ! Please make a favor yourself and stay away from it!!!!!!!

Absolutely the nastiest worst hotel Ive ever stayed in! Horrible rooms that are nasty, way over-priced, and not safe! We went strictly for the jacuzzi room and it was so disgusting that we couldnt even use it! Look at the photos of the jacuzzi drain. The ice bucket was cracked (shown in photo) and the clerk handed us a used Dollar Tree bag to use for ice... Really? There were numerous serious safety hazards due to electrical issues. The shower was also missing the safety bar for falls which is required. If you look at the pics the room was despicable, the chip bag behind the light, the cigarette put out in the AC unit, take a look at the night stand... and the amazing bed frame with rough plywood hanging out, dont get a splinter, then you got all the fluids squirted all over numerous walls... NEED I SAY MORE?

Between the bedbugs, mystery stains, poor water pressure, and $5 charge per room key, Im guessing the only reason this hotel still gets business is because everywhere else is full. I was lucky to get a couple of electrical outlets with covers on them, but most were broken. For more information, see the other comments

First let’s start with if I could rate it a zero I would’ve. $95 for a Sunday night stay and At that rate you would expect to at least be able to sleep on the bed. We had 2 double beds with a sheet and a very thin blanket (no comforter); one of which was off the wooden frame and if you layed your head down the whole feet area raised up. You didn’t even have to put the quarter in! (Maybe they should get an extra star for providing amusement to a grown woman?). We did try to fix it but it wouldn’t move. And frankly we were afraid to put our hands under the mattress into the hollow frame of horrors! The area was a bit ran down and the men jumping the barbed wire fence from the abandoned property behind the hotel were extremely athletic! There did appear to be a couple other cars in the parking lot but we were put on the side of the building where no one else was. Nothing like feeling a bit secluded…. It was unusually cold in Atlanta this weekend and of course we turned the heat on, the smell that came from it was enough to give you a headache. And it wasn’t the normal the heater hasn’t been used smell. Needless to say, the bug crawling on the ceiling was pretty much the final straw to this 45 minutes of hell! And here I thought Halloween was over! Video of the old lady on the mechanical bed available upon request! As well as pics of the room! I always say you get what you pay for, but this $95 was definitely a very valuable lesson of if it looks suspect, LEAVE QUICKLY!!!!

$93. Hair dryer does not work. Heater lets off a funky smell. Half the lamps dont work. Only 2 outlets work to to charge our phones and laptops. When we woke up the next morning the toilet wont flush. Its a good thing I bought sanitary wipes because I spent 20 minutes wiping down tables, door handles, etc.Edit: If youre reading this review, youre better off staying in a Motel 6. Also added a picture of a huge crack along the wall. Please fix before someone gets hurt.

I reserved a room on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 and the room seemed decent enough considering the area but overpriced. I was awakened in the middle of the night to something crawling on me. I pulled the sheet back to see several bedbugs scurrying around the sheets. I went to the front to complain and a different employee gave me another room because the manager left and that’s all he could do at the time. I returned the day after (when the employee informed me of when the manager would be back) to request some kind of refund and they said the only thing they’re willing to do is a 10% discount. The manager proceeded to tell me that they’re not bedbugs because people come in and out of that room all the time (not knowing that I’ve previously worked with pest control and restoration so I know what I’m talking about). I showed her a video of the bedbug and everything and she still proceeded to deny what I was saying.

If I could give then zero, I would!A room WAS available to us UNTIL we were going to go thru the app for the online discount! Then suddenly they were not booking any more rooms at 10 p.m. Really?? They just didnt want to give us the discount because I then watched someone else get a room.

Rude employees. I have a bad back and will go outside to smoke with a folding chair and they will call the room to complain about me using a chair. Also had an old lady with incontinence problems next to us that got charged an exorbitant amount because she wet the bed sheets. Wifi does not work and they refuse to fix it, and the television doesnt work either. Our bathroom ceiling leaks whenever the room above us uses their shower.

I was too tired to drive all the way home so decided to get a room here. The next day at work my arms began to itch. When it got my son from school he had big welts all over his arms and back. I never had this happen before so I did not know what it was. The doctor could not see him until Friday. Come to find out its bed bugs. THIS HOTEL HAS BED BUGS! DO NOT STAY HERE. I went to speak to the owner and the guy at the desk wanted to act like he could not get in touch with anyone. I am beyond pissed and will make sure that this is bought to the attention to others. I have some awesome media contacts whom I plan on reaching out to first thing Monday morning.

I stayed here because my original hotel was over booked. It was hard to find my room the rooms are numbered and grouped together by even and odd numbers. Maybe it was because I was tired and it was 12 in the morning but it took me a min. The room was nice upon entry. Nice decor great colors. Clean. ,Minus the dirty table that my boyfriend scrubbed clean before we sat our things and our sons things on them. The bathroom was small and the shower head was outdated with rust around it. I would have given this hotel a 3 star but I saw roaches crawling around the sink and in the bathroom which made me feel uncomfortable.

This Motel was quite and peaceful.🤩 It could have been a LOT cleaner.😤 It had a coffee pot, coffee and No cups. It had No soap for hand washing.😱 YES I had my own soap for bath. Day 2 no one came and asked about cleaning or giving clean wash clothes or towels.🤔

This Is The Worst Experience I Had At Magnuson Hotel. The Worker Are Very Rude And Don’t Know How To Talk To Other. The Rooms Are Very Nasty It Like They Don’t Know How To Really Clean. I Had To Go To The Store And Buy My Own Items That Should All Ready Be Done And Other Items That Should Be Already Inside The Room As Well. They Need To Be Shut Down Or Change Employees. They Need More Help And Experience In This Type Of Business. They Don’t Deserve No Star.

I checked in after hours around 1 oclock am. Around 2:30am I was awaken by a bite. After cutting on the lights and examining the bed, I discovered a bed bug. I immediately call the front desk and begin filming what I found. The guy came in, witnessed the bug and attempted to place me in the room next door, that I refused. He seen my bite mark and swelling and advised me to come the next day for a refund from manager. The next day, SUNI PATEL, the most unprofessional manager one will ever meet, refused my refund after viewing the video because she stated that she checked the room, and there was no bed bugs and it should have been more than one if they was there. NEVER EVER STAY on this nasty hotel!!!

The worse hotel $100 deposit $100 stay just to risk your life due to gun violence FIRST NIGHT EXPERIENCE THEN NEXT MORNING and people fighting selling drugs not including for old 1990 decor no matching amenities also the manager isn’t accepting third party payments so you lose if you stay here and you might be in trouble due to the people allowing being here NOOOO SECURITY THE MANAGER GETS BEATS UP AND STILL NOTHING CHANGE

This was a last minute decision to stay in Atlanta overnight. The hotel was ok, but the beds were by far 5 star quality!!! I had a bad stomach virus and was miserable and had the best nights sleep. They are memory foam and very good quality. Its because of this that I feel the rest of the hotel amenities are put by the wayside. I didnt feel it was 100% clean. Nothing special about the bathroom or linens. The bed didnt actually have enough blankets. I did not find out if breakfast was available because of the abovementioned illness.

Very rude people who own the hotel I was charged $120 for one night. Also when I went to pay for my room change to another room I was told to take my things and put it in their storage and well have to wait outside until the room came in available. Never what I stay at this hotel again poor maid service as well

I have never in my life experienced a hotel, motel, resort or overnight stay anywhere as bad as this. I pasted up motel 6 and another other place for $20 less because I didnt want to run into this. The outside is nothing like what is inside, from nasty to broken things, torn curtain no soap trash and crumbs all over floor even on table phone etc....it was no limits to the disaster even roaches for $8] . Do not make the mistake I did just to be close to work while work being done on my home, just sickness no housekeeping at all just a barley made bed. Never will give this place my money nor time again made me so Ill I missed work tonight. Dont not, I repeat do not stay here. No stars just had to do at least 1, oh p.s and drugs being sold and picked up constantly and men approach me every time I went to car, for ice etc. Just disgusting.

I tried to renew the room I stayed in last night.Got back after work to find out they renewed the wrong room and took all of my stuff out.They refuse to account for n iPhone and a Nintendo switch that we’re in the room when they took everything out and not on w in the hour I spent in their lobby did I see any employee wear a mask or wash their hands despite a loud and concerning cough.Attempts to get my property back have required threats of police intervention to get my possessions back, though due to my wife’s immunodeficiency I can’t even touch any of it if I do get it back.You would be better off sleeping in the Waffle House bathroom.

I stay in hotels 6 days a week for 6 years. This is by far the worst hotel Ive ever seen. 1 check in this morning hotel clerk gives me a key that does not work. Stand there 25 min waiting on him to come back when he does he smells like weed. 2 get in the room finally use the bathroom no toilet seat. 3 check the nasty hard beds out and they completely suck. 4 checked in around 530am at 1030 first maid beats on the door tells me check out is 11 then an hr later another then 30 min later another. Then front desk calls and wants to know how much I was charged. My advice even though its cheap this place is the worst hotel I ever stayed at.

I had to stay here for just over 2 weeks as I waited fory apartment to be finished. While the facility is cleaner than most in this area, the customer service was horrible! The management is a family and they change their policies and rules based on how they feel about you. I never had an issue with them u til the night before I left. One employee said one thing, then another refused to call her to straighten out the issue. I got excuses and BS when all I wanted was to sleep after my 14 hour shift. Mind you, I stayed there under their ridiculously high daily rate every day which means I spent well over $1500 to stay there and then be treated like I didnt matter because an employee having a personal phone conversation couldnt put it down long enough to address my boyfriend and remember what shed said to him.They use children to help do housekeeping work complete with stroller and attitudinal matriarch. I didnt want them to come I to my room though so I cleaned it myself with Clorox and Lysol..... They should really use better cleaning products (my black light says you guys are not even close to clean).If my favorite hotel in Union City (the Stay Express, formerly the Microtel Inn and Suites) hadnt been booked solid I would have NEVER gone here. If you want a clean FRIENDLY hotel where you, the guest, is treated as such, stay away from here! Go right across Shannon Parkway to the Stay Express. Jamel and Jay are amazing, the facility is much more modern and upgraded than this dilapidated eye sore, and you wont have to worry about fluctuating rates, horrible customer service, having your room cleaned by a child, or shifting policies.I gave them 1 star because the experience wasnt totally horrendous.... They could be great, but my God they have to get that operation together and hire real people who arent begrudgened to work because its a family thing. Update that tired decor, get flat screens in all the rooms, upgrade those nasty beds and furniture, and it would easily be a 3 or 4 star joint.IN SHORT.... JUST SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND THE MONEY!!

Just got to our room and this is not even worth a star. There aren’t any bedspreads or comforters, the pillows look like they belong on a toddler bed, the coffee pot has mold in it, the wall in the bathroom looks like it under construction, and to top it all off the pool is closed. How can you advertise that you have a pool and it’s so cloudy you can’t see the bottom and it’s closed for whatever reason. We have kids and it’s summertime!. This is crazy! Why not post on your website that your pool is not available but no you want people to pay all this money which you claim is non refundable and get here to this nasty hellhole. Guarantee our money will not EVER go to this company again!!!!!

The one star is strictly for the kind service received from a front desk employee who was willing to go above and beyond for good service. We rented three rooms and people in two of those rooms were attacked by BEDBUGS!! If the only place you can afford is this place, do yourself a favor and SAVE UP.. dirty doesnt describe the rooms but nasty does.

Pleasantly surprised! Nice and clean. Rooms smelled clean. Heater (it was during the ice storm of 2014) was quiet. Slept well. Nice folks run the place. Good value. The breakfast was bare bones but it was fine for me. Im glad I stayed there and would do it again the next time Im stranded at ATL.

NEGATIVEManager... she is rude and unhelpful. We made a reservation THREEEEEE PHONE CALLS between my husband and I and she claims we had nothing when we got here The wifi does not work. No towels. No iron. Hair dryer is broken. Lights are broken. Front desk lied about a room then we got here they say its not available. Payed extra 208 because they lied. Never coming again. On top of 370$ Total of 570 for 8 days. Im disgusted and the Deal online is 60$ a night. NEVER COME HERE

I had the worst experience at this hotel. I paid 75$ for a nasty dirty room. Also i was attacked by bedbugs and when i call to inform the manager she tells me they have already looked in that room and ensures me that i did not get them from her room. I just checked out yesterday and my arms are inflamed AND SWOLLEN. PLEASE NOTE IF U R STAYING THERE THAT THEY DO HAVE BED BUGS AND NO BED BUG PROTECTORS ON THERE BEDS.

They cameras dont work only the ones in the back, somebody broke in my car but didnt take anything because nothing was in there...they dont really clean there rooms, they my look like they good but you might wanna take a really good look at the rooms. The room they put me in the first time had bed bugs and all they did was make the bed back up and get the covers off the ground smh nasty 🤬🤬🤬🤬

We are a young couple, OTR drivers. Checked in at 10 pm. No parking for tractor trailers. Could not find any food deluveries, needed to do laundry, they had 3 washers & 7 dryers, only 1 washer & 1 dryer was working but not even the 1 dryer that was working dryer our laundry, the owner refused to reimburse the cost but sent us to the laundry mat down the street. Breakfast was terrible, the pancake machine was broken, milk & juice was hot. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Cockroaches, cigarette smoke and a lot of night traffic (hookers/drug dealings, etc). Had the other hotels NOT been filled Id NEVER had slept here!!!! Flight was delayed, wouldve been better off sleeping at the airport!!!!!!

My stay turned INTO A NIGHTMARE. One clerk stole my money. She took the cash and then ran my credit card information. And GOT the money. When I found out the bank did nothing. They told me to talk to the manager. The manager said no money was taken. I showed receipt everything. Still no money. Dont stay there.

Stayed for 2 nights and police were there each day. The pool water was green. The wireless internet was slower than dial up. Rooms were dated but clean except for the dresser drawers, which I did not use. Stands definition CRT TV.

I went to this Hotel and the Guy in the from told me it was $95 for the night! Next morning they charge my credit card for $140 ! The most disgusting hotel in town $140 ! La quinta didn’t have any rooms that night! The reason i satyed thetr! They were hair in the tolit and the carpet super dirty! The pellow had makeup!! I never write bad reviews but in this case! Dated. Smells of mold. Under renovation (looks like only new furniture.) Cardboard everywhere. Treacherous walkways due to broken concrete and debris. No hot water. (Let water run for 30 minutes. Ice cold.) Told desk agent. His reply was simply ok. No. Not ok slick. Contacting health dept.

Paid for 3 rooms. 2 non smoke 1 smoking. smoking had dirty linen, a pillow case looked like someone walked on it with dirty shoes. The other 2 rooms had NO soap at all. Way way over priced.

It was nice and quiet I love the view from the balcony the price wasnt bad neither I will stay there again when I come to Atlanta for you I gave it four star because they didnt have a ice machine for your cocktail.

Love the ambiance of the hotel. Staff is very helpful and informative. The continental breakfast is very big in variety compared to other hotels Ive been to just wished that the pool was a little bigger.

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS!!!!!!. We work outta town and have been using this hotel recently. Woke up covered in itching little red spot all over me same for my co workers DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! And it seems like every other day you have to take your key card to the front and have it rescanned to get into your room. Friendly staff tho

I have sensitive skin and I asked what kind of detergent did they use he wouldn’t give me a brand but I ask because before I got to this hotel I was fine but after staying a few night I got hives all over my body my face got it worst I know for a fact it’s the sheets and pillow cases I don’t use their soap

Older hotel, carpets were beyond nasty, towels looks like they came from a mechanic shop. No wash cloths... doesnt even get 1 star...avoid if possible..

I came here due to changed flights... I was so tired I couldnt think and the gentleman steered me through everything and even came up to open the door to make sure I got in properly.

Their racist , they actually a nerve to tell me that you cant have no visitors. You cant bring your breakfast up to your room its really not a breakfast anyways just muffins and cereal.
