Pepper Tree Lounge

I think the peppertree owners have a great group of daytime bartenders. Walter, Andrea, Celie, and Reana are all very professional, personable and just fun to hang out with. I thinkthe owners would be very smart to take good care of this group. They work hard for there tips and make great money for the Bar.

Only thing good there are the bartenders. Very courteous and personable. I see that Google says its temporarily closed. New ownership decided to spruce the place up but set up all these new rules and regulations. No outside food or beverages.Bathrooms are always out of order ( ONE OF THEM)and not always with toilet paper. Got rid of the Sunday Karaoke. The DJ was great. Sundays were like my Saturday nights, needed a close place to go and kick it.Fired the good security guard that knew everyone and kept the place safe. New securitydoesnt check for ID, weapons... ( no judgements) Definitely like the reviews above stated, dont go in without friends. Besides music and the pool tables there is nothing to do.

The DJ and the staff were pretty nice and friendly but do not come here without friends... The crowd was pretty boring. The dance floor had just one or two drunk people dancing but thats it. Definitely a good choice if you want to go with a few friends, play pool, or bar games and grab some reasonably priced drinks...

This place is legit when you want to go to a bar that isnt crowded, plays good music, a diverse crowd and in a plaza.I would give 5 stars but this past weekend, I felt like my drinks were made by someone who had no clue on how to make a whiskey and coke.I came to this place two months ago and drinks were in a much bigger cup (plastic cups) and last weekend they were in those regular cocktail glasses. Keep it consistent!TRAIN YOUR BARTENDERS!

I was pleasantly surprised! The venue is NICE! Its very modern and spacious. I went for a 50th bday and had a fantastic time

Not from here and seen that it would be a cool place to visit but they seem to not answer their phones. Guess I wont be going... NEXT!!!!

Union City Monday Night Comedy! There is a comedy show every Monday from 8pm - 10pm. At the show you can watch the up and coming comedians from the bay area work on their material. Some nights it is an open mic so anyone can sign up.

Was just kicked out by their security from being accused of trying to start a fight when we just walked in less than 20 mins ago. PAID FOR A DRINK and was walked up on by one of the security guards VERY aggressively might I add. Saw he was taking shots at the door as well. At least my drink was made with kindness from Rachel, thank you for your assistance tonight. Oh yeah, it was our first time coming to support the business. RUINED.

Came in just to reevaluate a few things, personally, and found it peaceful and the crowd kept to themselves. The bartender was not bothersome bit she consistently checked up on me as I kept to myself. Great place!

It was a cool, low-key vibe. They had an outdoor space you could smoke at with tvs, but it was small back there. If we wanted to get a table and celebrate a birthday, I feel like I could do that there. Low-key vibe with some friends.

Felt like I was getting arrested when I was asked to turn around and spread my arms with security when trying to walk in. Sucks the business has to do that to protect themselves but not good for business.I got inside and ordered a beer. The bartender was plenty nice and welcoming, however they didnt have Google pay or an ATM. So, they sent me across the street to an ATM at Quickstop but Id rather not get searched again to go into the bar so I didnt go back.They also dont serve food there. Ill have to find myself a better local bar. They have the potential but I guess the area is too bad.

I had so much fun for my b-day celebration! No problems, just everyone dancing, playing pool, drinking at the bar, or smoking in the back. Just fun, fun, fun! And the Live DJ was jamming!

Great lounge! 2 pool tables, dancing, open mic night, karaoke night. Excellent service, the owner Kacey is great, shes a firecracker, her son Chris is a great guy, as is the other night bartender, Pete. All the bartenders are great, and theres a great mix of regulars, as well. Very friendly place.

Drea is the most awesomest, beautifulest bartender we have ever met and as a 20+ year veteran dj... I have room to talk. Both my wife and I fell in love. Welcome to the club, We hope..... definately coming back for some Drea Dreas

A modern clean place to have fun. Lots of beers on draft & quality alcohol selection. Friendly customer service & cool people having a good time. Theres pool tables & different foods to eat in the same center that you can bring in too!

Didnt eat here but the place is very nice and very comfortable and great attitude from the bar tender.

Drinks are awesome. Security does a good job of maintaining the peace. Bartenders are friendly. Only bad thing is the old and young homeboys mugging and trying to be nosey. So the regular clientele arent as welcoming or cool. This is a neighborhood dive bar. Still a good Friday Night out though. DJs on Friday Nights play local rap and Mac Dre and stuff. No Girls here though.

Good music. On Thursdays they place house /techno on Friday and Saturday its back to rap and top 40 s. I like it for a neighborhood bar, but the crowd can be limited if youre trying to meet people

I wondered out of my town And was looking for a chill spot. Then I just happen to come across this little peach of a place. Now dont let thee outside looks have any effect on you. You walk up to those double green doors and could immediately hear the liveliness and fun In there. So I took a deep breath and slowly opened the doors, I was pleasantly surprised this jewel was bright in colors great music, neon lights , it had to pool tables to the right when you walk in then to the left is the bar , a dance floor in the middle with DJ, Male and female bathrooms and the real party is in the back smokin area. I will come back to this place for the people and bartender as well the owner chris is an awesome guy if your new I suggest you go say hi first Im sure he likes it. Hole in a walll place . Not as happening how it used to be before covid .. patio is closed too . Drinks are okay . Prices are okay .. just the vibe is not the same anymore .. I hope it gets better .

Newly renovated under new management, same great staff from previous ownership. Has two pool tables and jukebox and a dozen TVs. Come to chill and make acquaintances.

Cute dive. Pool was fun. People at the bar were friendly. Prepare to be patted down and carded. Drinks were good.

I am new to Bay Area and this is the best place so far I visited.Great music,amazing drinks.All bartenders here are so nice to their customers.And the best part about this place is owner Casey I just love her she is so nice and humble to eveyone.She responds eveyone politely and patiently even though she is busy and the bar is packed.One day she was kind enough to share her own food when I was freakin hungry which is really sweeet :) 100% recommended !!

Sounds like a place to chk out especially since a patron says theres not enough women there, and Im not interested in meeting any females, Im strictly dickly. So yeah Ill be checking out the scenery soon

Great atmosphere, it gets a little ghetto but security makes sure it stays a safe place and not like other that give everyone attitude

Owner Chris is a hell of a guy unfortunately hes the only one that shows up to work. Other bartenders will be drinking with the guests and alienate anyone they dont know. Was served 2 beers in 2 hours. Felt embarrassed to even be in there.

Good drinks could be a little bigger on the well drinks...should have more room in the smoking section...felt like a Giant burning Newport literally couldnt breathe like walking through Cache Creek =[

The peppertree lounge has come a long way since it was bought by Casey and it will go a long way.My favorite go to spot in the east bay.The peppertree and some of the people who go there are like family. Q

Awesome hole in the wall bar, great service, crowd, and music playing. Also a good place to chill and aesthetic.

This place is fantastic. They have a comedy night on Monday that is one of the best in the bay.
