I had the absolute BEST experience at Elegant Expressions and I just have to share! My stylist, Frank, is an absolute gem! I needed my hair done on short notice the night before my birthday, and he came to my rescue. He noticed me looking at their shop sign as I was heading to a nail salon and even waited for me to finish my nails before starting my hair.In one evening, Frank took out my single braids, gave me a meticulous wash with an amazing shampoo, and massaged my scalp – pure bliss! He then blow-dried my hair and braided it down for a sew-in. I didnt have hair with me, but he generously offered a selection from his collection.Frank was incredibly gentle and frequently checked in to ensure I was comfortable. As someone who is typically very tender-headed, I was shocked at how painless the process was.I loved my experience so much that I’m bringing my mom next week for us both to get our hair done by Frank. Highly recommended – hes the best stylist I’ve ever had!

I was very excited to try this place because of the reviews that I saw on Google. It was my first time and I have not pampered myself in a very long time. I spent quite a good penny on my hair only to realize that it was burnt at the ends and that my hair did not get proper trimming. There are areas that are still not trimmed right and my hair was burnt. My hair is burnt and I am very disappointed. The stylist was a very polite lady and was not rude at all. I have not flat ironed my hair since nor have I done anything to it but took care of it by wrapping it and making sure that it was properly secured. At first I thought that I was hallucinating the night that I started to wrap my hair only to wake up the next morning and realize that the burns on my ends were extreme. I will not be coming back.

During my search for nearby salons, I came across the elegant expressions salon. Intrigued by the positive reviews about frank, I decided to give them a call. Although Frank didn’t personally style my hair during my first visit, he provided me with a consultation and advised that my hair wasn’t ready for the desired color service at that time. He kindly scheduled another appointment for me. When I returned, I was extremely satisfied with the results. Not only did frank assist me at the salon, but he also recommended products for me to use at home. This is now my second appointment, and I have already recommended elegant expressions salon to my friends. I truly appreciate Frank’s excellent work and expertise.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY EXPERIENCE HERE ! For starters I took my braids out impulsively and needed something quick but also quality to last me during the work week. I booked a last minute appointment online , got here and was sat down with Frank. He gave me a consultation and asked me about my goals for my hair and what I wanted on this journey. The entire process was very professional and therapeutic. I live 6 minutes away from here and believe me , I will be to let Frank take care of my tresses.

My experience with Nicole was nothing but amazing! As this was my first time coming to Nicole she was able to squeeze myself, my daughter and my niece in last minute. She is very knowledgeable with natural hair which stood out to me the most because it is so hard to find a natural hair stylist . She even offered solutions to help my daughter and I which I really appreciate! Thank you and we will definitely be coming back!

After my previous stylist retired, I met Nicole at Elegant Expression in Union City, Georgia. With over 40 years of experience, I had high standards, but Nicole exceeded my expectations. I met her in 2022 at the salon, which has a relaxing atmosphere and friendly stylists. Nicole is professional, caring, and even came in on her day off to style my hair. I highly recommend her and the salon to anyone looking for a new stylist.

I would definitely recommend Frank for any hair services needed. He does an excellent job with caring for my hair and it has gotten healthier since coming to him. I receive relaxer touch ups, trims, coloring, treatments and styling and I always receive compliments for my hair every time I leave the salon. Furthermore, he is a nice, friendly person that makes the salon experience that much better.

I took a chance and requested red hair color. I got paired up with Patrice. Whos very knowledgeable of hair dye. She really goes out her way to satisfy the customer. Shes the type that dont say I cant do that style. Instead she either figures it out or offer something close to what you want. She gives instructions on how to maintain my hair when I leave.Did I meant,shes a sweet person? And my last time the management was terrible. So bad I hadnt been back in years. But The manager now got things top notched! You can tell he respects his crew too. Sending referrals their way,for sure 😁

I had an awesome experience with Frank as my stylist. He’s very knowledgeable about hair health and offered healthy hair solutions for me to consider.My whole experience was great but my favorite part was the unexpected scalp massage I received towards the end of the wash. No stylist has ever massaged my scalp before so this was a very welcomed surprise.It was also refreshing to see how welcoming and professional all the stylists were to everyone that walked in and to one another.I’ll definitely be back and I love my hair, I even received a compliment!

The stylist was very nice and accepted me as a walk-in. I paid $125 for a wash cut and blow; unfortunately my hair only lasted two days. I suspect I need to find a place that does silk press …..I hear so much about it …steaming and all. She suggested that I come twice a week to train my hair…I am a senior on fixed income and $250.00 would tap into food, electric, and gas.

My stylist is Frank.. I have been going to him for many years now. Hes very professional and hes knowledgeable with the products he uses on my natural hair. The salon and staff is nice. Book an appointment you wont be disappointed he specializes in almost everything and if he cant do it someone in the salon can. Tell him Chante sent you.

Sllay was very respectful, nice and helpful. I came in for a take down that I had and she took me right in with no wait. We she wash and conditioner my hair, if felt so so good with a massage. I almost went to sleep. Everyone come check her out at elegant expressions. These days people don’t care for their clients anymore but glad I found her today.

Needed a stylist quickly while moving GA. Searched for a salon and ended up with frank. I made my appointment from CT. Frank was great and my appointment process was simple, easy, and quick . I ended up getting a pixie cut on my V hair and absolutely love it!

OMG!!! My stylist was Nicole! She is so talented, thoughtful and very professional! She has a lot of knowledge, which shows in the quality of her work. Not to mention she has good energy! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist!

Do Not book any service with this salon and especially with LayShawn for any service that is not for Natural hair. She promotes other services she can’t do. Also asked to see her license I am unsure if she is licensed. I booked a partial quick weave with her. Got to the salon sat in her chair and she tried to pass me off to a stylist that had previously done my hair 1st red flag. I told her I may need a touch up relaxer. She said she doesn’t do relaxers someone else would have to do it. 2nd red flag I asked why she said she doesn’t think it’s good for your hair. She did not have any pics of quick weave styles she claims she has done before. She kept asking me questions like as if she wasn’t confident in doing the style. I told her I wasn’t comfortable with her cutting and styling the weave she put on so she gave me to the stylist Nicole. Who cut/curled and molded my leave out so she did more work and did a great job. Nicole said she was doing her best because of the way Layshawn put the tracks on. I ended having to pay both of the stylist and Layshawn wanted to charge me more than Nicole who did most of the work. Nicole said I should only pay Layshawn only $50 instead of $70 but than act like she didn’t say otherwise I guess because they have to work together. Layshawn books her clients through an online service called booksy. When I went to do a review this heifer put on the site I was a no show so I couldn’t leave a review. Also these ladies are all independent like a salon suite so the owner who I talked to twice will not do anything. But that’s fine his business with take the fall than

Came in as a walk in for a straighten and trim under the impression that I needed my hair to be straight in order to get a trim. Sllay assured me that she could cut my hair blow dryed which wa great! When she was done, allll of my dead ends were gone and my hair was feeling better than everrrr! Have definitely found my natural stylist!!!

As a new salon client, whats an automatic thumbs down/do not recommend for you? For me it was when Willett J. no call no show for an appointment time she insisted on. 930. Despite me saying I can come later so she had time for church, etc. Arrived at 915 for a 930 appointment...Not a person in sight I left around 945. I explained to her how my mother just had a stroke and we just needed a wash. We got up at 7am to ensure we were there on time so the disappointment...just imagine. She was nice when we spoke but I would not recommend her. Sidenote: she mentioned working 7 days a week and I asked when did she rest. She said when the Lord tells her to. I guess He told her today. 🤦🏽‍♀️. Anyway maybe yall need an emergency protocol so people dont experience what I did.Update: Thank you for the apology. Everything else you stated mainly strengthened my point about her making a 930am appointment. It was NOT requested by me...it was offered. Therefore if Sundays are typically noon and later, then dont suggest 930 and not show up. I knew exactly what the website showed about your hours. I suggested coming later. She however did not abide by the website times. I dont think it was maliciously planned which is why I suggested yall create an emergency protocol.

I love this salon!!!! Quinn is an amazing master stylist. I don’t let anyone else touch my hair!!! Since going to her my hair had been healthier including my scalp. My hair has gotten so long. The other stylists are talented as well and so nice. They are always doing “customer appreciations” and things during the holidays. They do blow outs, braids, quick weaves. They even have a bomb massage chair.

First time customer! In town visiting from Cincinnati and the lady I originally booked with someplace else cancelled on me😒 I am so happy with my hair! Mary and her daughter were amazing! This place certainly deserves 1 star and below. I made an appointment here for January 18th for a silk press on natural hair. My stylist was a brown skin plus size woman, with light colored eyes who’s name is Tanika, her chair is the closest chair to the front desk. As I was waiting for her to get to me, I looked around and I noticed some of the women in there receiving services had thinning edges (the stylist that was scheduled to do my hair as well) and were mostly getting relaxers. That was a red flag for me, along with one stylist having Shea Mositure products that she was using. I walked out but I had an event to attend later that night so I sucked it up and went back in. The woman that shampooed my hair (lighter skin with gold teeth) kept smack and popping her gum in my face while washing my hair, very unprofessional. I was then placed under the dry, when my dryer timer was up, I walked back to the chair of the stylist who was suppose to do my hair and she RUDELY told me “I’ll come get you, wait over there (pointing to the chairs in the middle),” while she was texting on the phone, I guess I was interrupting her texting. As she was pressing my hair, she had to be using the world’s cheapest flat iron. She had to pass over each section of my hair at least 7 times. It was awful. When she was finally done, I looked in the mirror and I knew this salon was a joke. I was given “grandma with the ends bumped,” hair. I told her that “my hair looks grandma-ish.” She then rudely told me “well you have grandma hair.” I get my hair pressed once a year and ends trimmed (usually at Like The River salon) and have never had my hair looks so awful, so flat and it smelled like it was severely burnt. But if it doesn’t get any worse...it does. I am on my 5th was and the heat damage of my hair is so extreme that I have to get it cut off. Usually my curls will revert back after 2 washes and a DC. If you are looking for rude service, mediocre styling and heat damage with a side of burnt bbq smell in your hair. then come to this salon and ask for Tanika! Please see photos of when my hair was done in January to now when my hair is WET on washed day.

Came here with my daughter after booking an appointment with Naisha for 6:30pm and end up walking out because the stylist was not communicating or responding back to me all day i texted in the morning and to let her know I had arrived one of the other stylist reached out to her to let her know we have arrived because it was going on 6:45pm and was told she was on the way. At 7pm still no communication on what’s going on so we end up leaving as we were leaving another stylist told us she got into accident so she down to one car which is understandable but its really unprofessional to not reach out and let me know if she needs to reschedule or cancel the appointment. My daughter has a big event tomorrow and now we are struggling to do something to her hair and my daughter was really sad about not being able to get her done.

Quinn did my silk press after I contacted her so last minute, she was able to squeeze me in. She did an amazing job on my blow out. Not to mention she did my moms hair and we both loved it. Been going to Quin for almost 4 years now and she’s no doubt my favorite stylist for all my quick weaves. She’s very talented, professional and accommodating in meeting last minute requests. Frank is great at what he does. I have always styled my own hair, but when Frank laid his anointed hands on my head I was hooked. The massage during the wash phase is phenomenal! I’ve been getting my hair done by her since April, when I decided to go back to relaxing after being natural for three years. I needed someone I could trust and depend on to be there ready and available to do my hair with no long waiting and also great atmosphere. I must say, I made a great choice coming here. The conditioning technique and the advice she gives has my hair growing down my back. I don’t remember my hair growing this long since middle school and I’m forty plus. My experience at Elegant Expressions in Union City was excellent. Renee, my stylist, did a sew-in style. I have not had a sew-in in quite some time due to a previous bad experience. Renee and her staff exemplified professional behavior during my visit at the salon. She performed a high quality style on my hair. Although, she knew I had some reservations, she took the time to listen to my concerns and made the necessary adjustments based on my experience. It was my first time at Elegant Expressions Beauty and Styles in Union City. Im big on customer service and I must say , nice and friendly experience.Renee ( the owner) did my hair and it came out nice, however I asked for a wash and style and I was charged $65.00!!!! (for shoulder length, natural hair)Are you kidding me ??? Not for a silk press or any kind of press.( Thats midtown prices.) I had a conversation outside the shop with Renee for clarification and she stated for a press it wouldve been $75.00. My hair only lasted for 2 days, not happy with this salon :(

I needed a change for the New Year 2022.God had brought me through a lot of changes the year of 2021! I Prayed and ask God to send me to AWoman of God who could make me feel brand new byCreating a Hairstyle for me to Smile and Be Beautiful!God woke me up and told me to travel to Elegant Expressions in Union City. I obeyed God, and I pulled up and knocked on the door, and God had Mrs. QuinnWaiting there for me on Dr. Martin Luther King Birthday. Mrs. Quinn opened the door, and said come on in. I expressed my feelings about my hair. She listened and said I had one client that I had scheduled, and I was leaving. She said park your car and come on in. I will do your hair!!! I have long, thick, natural hair and Frank did a wonderful job! I got a wash, deep condition under the steamer, blow-dry and press and he gave me some curls too. It felt like I had a perm lol I called to see if I can can come in and he was very courteous. I payed $70. Not bad 👌

I Love my stylist Fatima, I started visiting this salon about a year ago getting my hair braided or plaits. Fatima is the best she will work around your schedule and make sure she is available for her clients. The salon atmosphere is great everyone is friendly and they have someone for everything in the shop.

I was really looking forward to getting my hair done and especially getting it done by Frank, because I read all the good reviews he got. I arrived at 1 pm, my scheduled appointment time, was warmly greeted by two ladies who were doing hairs at the front, and one lady asked me who I was there to see, and I told her. She told me to have a seat and she will let Frank know. The place was clean and mostly everyone wore masks, nice music was playing on the radio, and I observed one lady sanitizing after a customer left.However, I waited about 15 minutes for Frank to show up after the nice lady called him for me. He walked passed me (the seating is located right next to the entrance), went to his station near the back and then beckoned for me to come over. I went and spoke to him about the pricing, which I thought was reasonable (he also told me that he would not charge me for shampooing. Which I thought was nice of him. Honestly, after I had the shampoo, I would have protested if he had charged me) . I didnt have cash on me (thought that they accepted card, after all, this is modern times) so I told him that I would go and get the cash which he didnt objected to.When I went back, he led me to get my hair shampoo. It was like the lady was going to war with my hair and head. It was such a painful disaster. At one point I had to say, mind you give me an headache. I have been to hairdressers before, both here and in my home country, and not one had shampooed my hair so roughly. Anyway, after the shampoo was done, Frank told me that he would allow me to relax for a few minutes. That few minutes led to about 10 or more minutes. Mind you, my neck was resting on the back of that rough chair. I got fed up and sat up and a nice lady that was doing someones hair, told me that I could sit in a more comfortable chair. Frank was nowhere to be seen. If he had to step out, he could have just informed me.Anyway, I ended up having to wait until two other ladies got their hair done, before mine was completed. I had said that is was okay because I didnt expect theirs to take so long. I dont know what appointment time they had, but to me, it seems like Frank is so popular that he took on more than he could chew. Needlessly to say, I hate my style and it was a total disaster. I could have done better myself. I only tried a hairdresser because I thought it would have been done better than I could have done it myself, because my hairdresser in Jamaica did a wonderful job rope twisting my hair, braiding and other styles. I will not be going back to Frank. I hope hell read this and schedule his customers more proficiently, so that nobody will leave disappointed. I arrived at 1 pm and left around 5 pm for a simple shampoo and rope twist.I do not have anything bad to say about the salon itself or the other hairdressers, because from what I saw, it seems like they know their stuff and did good jobs for their clients.But as for Frank, I do not see what the whole rave is about.

I made a last minute appointment with Renee on a Sunday. She worked a miracle on my hair. The cut was perfect! She is a professional and the vibe in her shop was great. I got the best treatment for my hair that Ive had in a long while.

Ms.Quinn is the best hairstylist I have had in a long time. She knows what I want and she gives me the best advice what would look good on me. I recommend her to my friends and co-workers. She gets the job done in a timely manner. If you want to look like a million dollars, go to Quinn you want regret it.~Gail

I recently relocated to Union City, GA from another state. Prior to moving, I cut my hair into a short style. I was looking for a salon that had expertise in short styles, good reviews and in close proximity to where I live. Elegant Expressions had all that I was looking for in a salon. I called and had no trouble scheduling an appointment for the next day. Tonika booked my appointment as well as styled my hair. She did a great job! My experience from beginning to end was good. Tonika was friendly and knowledgeable. She took her time and the end result was exactly what I wanted.

Greetings!I am a professional woman I moved here 3 years ago and have been to at least 25 salons looking for a Home. Either the salon is Nasty, children running all around, stylist over booking and not listening you to the clients needs you name it I have been through it.But when I tell you my search is OVER I have found my Stylist and my home.Ms. Quinn is a Breath of Fresh Air. She is so professional, she listens to my needs, asks questions and cares about haircare.I went in for a quick weave which normally takes the salons I have been to at least 6 to 8 hours.Ms. Quinn had me in and out in least then three. The salon is so relaxing it was emmaculate, nice soft music just an overall Wonderful Experience.Ok I know yall want to know the most important part how my hair looked.When I tell you this young lady is Gifted. My hair is everything I could have asked for I HAVE BEEN SLAYEDDDDD!!!I highly recommend this Salon and please do yourself a favor and ask for Quinn.

I had a nice experience at this salon. Tava did my hair and did a great job. I did not have a relaxer and wanted a ponytail but she advised me to get the Design Essentials Sensitive Scalp relaxer to straighten out my hair. The relaxer did not burn my scalp and my hair looked great afterwards. I maintain the style by rolling up my hair at night and couldnt be more pleased with the service. This is a beautiful salon. I did not have a long wait, due to setting an appointment in advance, and they played smooth jazz music. The only suggestion I would have is for some of the stylists to handle their disputes with one another privately. Apparently, one of the ladies took a walk-in and another stylist was upset because it wasnt her turn. Clients should not have their salon time interrupted by bickering among stylists. I will definitely return to see Tava. I used the $5 off coupon that is located on the back of the Kroger receipt in the same plaza. She also does a free consultation, which was great!

Very nice atmosphere! Angela my stylist is exceptional! Her service is top notch. She is always very professional and welcoming. I recieve compliments about my hair all the time.

Mrs. Quinn and Mrs. Lynn always go above expectations when doing my hair. They both treat it with such care while also getting the job done in a timely manner. Not only are they both very professional, but they also provide great conversation while doing what they do best. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else but these two in the surrounding area. Their gifts and expertise truly show in their work. I’d give 7 stars if I could!

I just dont know what to say..First off I made a 730 am appointment Kiesha was late..they were preparing to celebrate a beautiful womans birthday at the Salon another stylist..which was ok until I noticed my stylist wasnt focused..i was patient and quiet trying to be understanding.The style i chose was a curly bob with deep wave hair oh and side part..she tells me my hair was fine which is true and my edges were damaged granted I knew that..although my hair is deep wave i still wanted my Bob curled..as more people came in she began to rush..an older lady walks in and she was waiting on the same stylist..SHE HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME TO GET UP SO THAT SHE COULD MOLD HER SO SHE COULD GO UNDER THE DRYER..Trying to be respectful ..and courteous i got up..how about I sat while she curled and styles her as I sit there w half my hair sewed in!! Very unprofessional!! I paid to get my hair colored to black..its still brown!!I was furious!!I also sat while she talked about me to another stylist..and customer..So rude not professional at all!Them had the nerve to tell me she gave me a discount already bc her price for a sew in was much more..First off I asked for prices before I made an appointment I work everyday and make good money I can pay for what I want!!I just laughed.What a waste of 150 dollars!!Other stylist had some two or 3 or more clients and I was still there!!Didnt leave until after 1.and the stylist Sunny thought it was funny as if I wasnt looking at the both of them talking about me...Im frustrated and upset but I wont let it get to me..If you cant do a certain style you should say so before you act like you can and have women leaving unhappy after spending hard earned money!! I would never recommend this place to anybody!

First of all I feel so played!! went there for a wash and ,dye and cut I kept asking the cost and was not told until after the wash then I was 150 for a basic hair due and cut with color no type of ELEGANCE about it . I didnt even get a perm but was charged150 $a I hate I spent my money there do not be deceved!
