I always receive a warm welcome from the receptionist team. Also, I have been seeing Jeff for several years and he is one of the best massage therapists ever! I would highly recommend him. I have been a member at the Shelby Township location and I havent been disappointed once.

I think it went okay? Honestly not 100% sure. Nothing was explained during the facial process (what was being put on, why or what does it do so), got sprayed with something a couple times with no warning. She did an extraction but it was only a handful, trust me I could use more than a handful. At the end of the session I got a quick “use hyaluronic acid” and thats it. When I got home my face felt like it was pretty oily/greasy. Do I keep this on? Wash it off? Does it matter when I can wash it or when should I be able to put on makeup? Felt kind of lost and pretty disappointed. Not sure if this is how all facials go but I hope not. I’m going to try a different place next time to see the difference. Also that was the most feather light touch. No pressure point massage like in the description? Shelby Twp location with Bria

It was my very first time getting a facial here. The customer service was amazing and so was Bria. I am 2 days out and my skin and face look and feel amazing. I am super excited to be apart of the family and I am encouraging the whole world to do the same.

Felt super relaxed after my facial. My skin was soft and glowing. My esthetician, Bria, was amazing. She used just the right amount of pressure. I highly recommend her and LaVida.

I called on Thursday the 14th of March at 1:00pm to reschedule and I was met by an unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude receptionist. Instead of making it a smooth and easy transaction, she lost me as a frequent customer. I will never visit, call, or spend money at that location again!

I had a hydro platinum facial today. It was wonderful, and I highly recommend one. Shelly did a fantastic job. She was very personable, sweet and kind. I felt like I was friends with her. I’ll be returning for a microdermabrasion soon!

Madison is wonderful! She is gentle, knowledgeable, and puts you at ease like she did me. I hesitated to come here as it was my first time. I recommend coming to this location because it is clean, soothing, and near a Chic Fil A!

Keira was phenomenal! I’ve been suffering with a bulging disk and she was so accommodating. She worked through all the tough spots checking in constantly to make sure I was comfortable. I’m a talker and she and I had amazing conversation. I am very impressed and will absolutely be back.

Olivia did my facial and she was so attentive, sweet and I felt like she took her time and made sure that I was comfortable and relaxed.

I am rating Christine Govier 5 stars. I have been with her for almost 9 years and shes able to resolve all of my issues. She is very skilled at her trade and Ive never had a complaint about the service she has provided. highly recommended.staff listens and works on that troubled spot and Im confident that Ill leave feeling much better than when arriving. Ive been coming here almost 9 yrs. and I never had a bad experience; most of that time was with Christine. I wish I could afford to visit more often instead of my normal monthly visit. Already looking forward to my next one.

I loved how Kiera was very thorough with assessing and treating my trouble areas and she also described things I could do at home to stretch and provide comfort to myself at home. She’s extremely knowledgeable, friendly and doesn’t make you feel rushed. Absolutely one of the best Therapists in metro-Detroit! My wife and I will refuse to go to anyone else!!!

I got a couples massage and our therapists were Dylan and Jeff. Dylan was very warm and inviting and Jeff did a good job as well. Receptionists were nice, clean environment. Would definitely go again.

I just left about a half hour ago from here! It was my first time here and I had Kay for my massage! She was absolutely wonderful and my favorite massage I’ve ever had! Everyone here was so nice. Deff coming back and bringing my boyfriend!

My wife scheduled us a couples massage for our anniversary. We were notified 24hr before our appointment that our appointment had been double booked and that we would have to reschedule. Unfortunately because of the nature of this holiday weekend we were unable to make other accommodations. I contacted the manager Paige who deftly took hold of the situation and escalated it to the general manager Amanda. Now, Ive heard of customer service that goes above the call of duty, but for a GM to call a customer with a situation such as ours @1800 on a Friday is exceptional. Amanda explained her dedication to making our situation right. I look forward to the LaVida experience knowing the apt manner in which this organization is managed.

Great place for a massage. The staff is very professional and sets you up comfortably. I booked a weekday appointment with only a few days notice. Weekends are obviously busier but each time I’ve gone the service is great.

My experiences with LaVida Massage have always been very good. I had surgery some months back on my arm and shoulder. Cheryl was referred as the best one to help me. She listens to what I need and has been able to release the muscles to aid in my healing. She really works wonders. The environment is very nice and clean and all of the employees are very friendly. Thank you Cheryl!

My massage was great! I was massaged by Kiera. Her massage techniques and pressure were perfect for me. She did a great job meeting my bodys needs by working out the tension and muscle knots that I had in my shoulders, back, hips and feet. I left feeling relaxed, stress free, and pain free. I definitely will go here again for a massage with Kiera, I even signed up for their massage membership so I can return here every month for a great massage at a great price.

I had a facial today. Somewhere towards the middle, she asked me if I would like the LED lights and explained what it was. I said- sure. What she did not explain to me was that it would be an extra $35, which I only found out when I went to pay. If I had known it was going to cost that much, I would have said no. The facial itself was fine. The esthetician was very nice. But I won’t be back.

Jeffrey was Amazing as always. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in & I’ve seen others there in between him (he was booked) they are good, but I’ll always keep going back to him! Everyone there is friendly & it’s always clean. He helps my pain so much, even if the relief is just for a short time, I’ll take it. Thanks Jeffrey!

LORABEL IS THE BEST!!She is very perfessional been seeing her for almost 6yrs.Was in a car accident and after my therapeutic massage I left as if I hadnt been.No more soreness and stiffness.I felt amazing the next Day!The staff is awesome!!

I have been going to La Vida Massage for over 5 years now and I haven’t had 1 complaint. It’s really clean and peaceful and a good price.I like the membership monthly fee. It’s deducted once a month so when I need a massage I just book it and don’t worry if I have the money cause I already prepaid for it. What’s great is if I miss a month they roll over and I can use for 2 massage a month or get a facial.And I love the lady I see Lorabel. She’s incredible!! I have had 3 back surgeries and have had massages all around the country and internally and she is by far the BEST!!!!

I always have a wonderful experience. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful, whether that’s checking me in/out, scheduling or rescheduling appointments and making an appointment online is very easy as well.I see Dylan regularly and he is always kind, professional, courteous, and he asks questions about comfort/discomfort and checks on you throughout your session.

I have been a member at LaVida for years. The office staff is so professional, organized, friendly, and accommodating. The massages are always exceptional and helped me get through multiple pregnancies. I highly recommend you give this place a try...you wont be disappointed!

Beautiful and very clean salon. Dylan was my therapist and he was amazing. Explained everything to me and concentrated on the areas that I needed the most. I decided to purchase a membership and continue going there. I have another appointment in 2 weeks with Dylan.

I give Cheryl a 5 out of 5 stars. She did an awesome job of reducing my pain and loosening up my back and shoulder muscles so that I felt huge relief. Also, she was kind, considerate and professional. I will be referring her to my friends and coming back to see her again. 👏👏😃

I’m 32 weeks pregnant and went to get a prenatal massage. Jeff did so good and was so gentle but got all the right places with the good amount of pressure. I’ll definitely be going back. Hands down so comfortable and relaxing there. I fell asleep!

Ive been coming to this location for approximately 4 years now and never had a single issue. Ive never had an issue with my appointments being cancelled, or not booked, never had an issue with my therapist, theyre always on time and extremely professional. Anthony is the absolute best therapist Ive ever had there!!!! The place itself is nice and super relaxing, front desk staff is always extremely courteous. I do not have a problem with pricing, I believe the monthly benefits plan should be back down to $50/month, but its not a deal breaker necessarily. My ONLY issue is the high cost of the tiny scoop of lotion they charge. $6 for that little thing I think is a ripoff. Otherwise, I absolutely LOVE this location and have no plans to go anywhere else!!!

Anthony really listens to the issues I notice Im having and fixes them as well as things I didnt realize were bothering me. I always leave relaxed and more balanced.Very caring and compassionate staff. The only issues Ive ever had werent necessarily the businesss fault, phone and online computer system were down; but another office was happy to helpe make the appointment with Anthony.

Quiet environment. Friendly atmosphere. Great massage therapist, Emily. Pays attention to the areas of concern. Felt wonderful after massage. Couldn’t move my neck much when I went there. My range of motion with my neck is better. Hurrah

I had a massage scheduled for over a month with Kay. In February I received a message saying she wanted to let me know she’s now able to do 90 minutes. I then scheduled one for May 4th. I had surgery on my back in January. She knew that. Also knew that when they told me she can do a 90. The night before my massage appointment they called to ask if I was approved for a massage from my dr. I told them “ yes of course. I’ve already had two through the Washington office.” I let the staff know at that time I didn’t have a note. But I wouldn’t jeopardize my healing if it wasn’t approved.The day of my massage- as I’m DRIVING there( 20 minutes before) they call to tell me she’s canceling because she’s not comfortable!!! I do understand and respect that but ......Why not tell me to get a note when I booked, or when I confirmed or even the night before when they called me!!! Why wait 20 minutes before?!?!

Cheryl is a fabulous massage therapist who does an amazing job relaxing the knots I carry in my shoulders. Everyone is always friendly and the experience is consistently great!

Ive been seeing Anthony for over a year now and he is just amazing. Pressure is on point, hes so smooth in his transitions and my body just feels wonderful when I leave. He is a great personality with great talent and I come back every time!I always book my appointments through the lavida app, its super convienent. Ive never had a problem with it.

It was the best experience. My husband and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary by getting a couples massage. The price was awesome. The staff was super friendly and helpful and very professional. We left there happy and relaxed! We will definitely be back!!

This was my first time utilizing the waxing service. But Emily made sure I was comfortable and talked me through everything. Dylan is my favorite masseuse. He is the perfect amount of therapeutic to relaxation!

Love going here since they got the CBD ointment here its helped me out in a pinch while waiting on my main stuff to come in. I like the massage therapists here. They are friendly and listen to your needs and once you find one you find a person you like you dont want to see them go.Front desk girls are always nice and welcoming and will try to answer any questions you have to the best of their ability.

They Cancelled first appt due to covid. Understandable. I rescheduled and they never gave an appt reminder call. I had to call. Was put on hold for over 10 mins! Called back and went to voicemail. I never received call back. I called again and confirmed.The day of appt, there is awful construction on Hall Rd. I called to let them know we would be running late. The RUDE woman on the phone stated, You will be charged for the time and it will be deducted off your massage time. She said this was told to me 12 hrs previous to appt.Um....no. IT WASNT cause I CALLED to confirm appt. I never received any information about this. I will NOT return. Lavida just lost 2 customers. Awful customer service. Look into hiring professional/courteous staff and CLEARLY let the customers know they will be charged for services not rendered.

I have been a paying member for some time now but have just cancelled my membership. Absolutely terrible service over the last 6 months. Office staff can not seem to get anything right, I have been over charged numerous times, appointments screwed up and they still dont have my phone number correct after a year of me telling them. I have complained numerous times and was promised that a manger would contact me but I have NEVER heard from management. Management does not care at all. The massage therapist are great but good luck getting an appointment. As a paying member you get 1 massage a month however it takes at least 6 weeks to get an appointment so you can never actually use what you are being charged for. When I just cancelled my membership I lost 4 sessions because I could not get appointments. They are selling more memberships than they can accommodate. I have spoke to many of the clients and massage therapist there and they all agree. Stay away from this place unless you just want to throw your money away!

Lorabel has a magical blend of techniques including Thai, Shiatsu, Swedish, Therapeutic, Reflexology and traditional massage and she uses them all to meet your individual needs. She is a very special and rare practitioner of the healing arts. I have the utmost respect for her. She is amazing!

First time customer purchased a hour massage as a gift. The masseuse had a bad attitude from the start. She was hurting my girlfriend who then asked for less pressure. After this happened 3 times the masseuse gave up and asked her to get dressed. The staff refused to reschedule or give a refund even though the massage only lasted for 10 minutes and we paid for an hour. I get massages frequently at other establishments. What a horrible experience avoid this place at all cost!! We have never experienced customer service and policies this poor. Do NOT go to La Vida.

The manager has no business holding her title. Her staff made a scheduling mistake and I was charged for their error. I called to discuss this with the manager and she was completely rude and said, Too bad! Needless to say, I havent been back since that day.In response to the owner:The only day that I have off is Wednesday so I scheduled my appointment accordingly. I showed up on time for my appointment and the receptionist says that my appointment was the day before and that I was charged for a missed appointment. I asked to speak to the manager regarding this and was given a rude response. They dont seem to care about their business too much when the owner pays more attention to these reviews than their terrible management team. Dont get me wrong, the massage therapists are wonderful, but management could care less about keeping you as a customer.

Christine is an excellent massage therapist. No 2 massages are ever the same— she always goes to the problem area and works on it until there is relief. She’s also a great listener!

Went for a couples masage last Saturday. They gave me Candace as my therapist. Never had her before. The experience was nothing short of horrible. Candace could not give a therapeutic massage. She had no strength on her hands; her work was messy, and she would stop too many times. She kept putting a heat pad on my back, and then kept taking it off so many times. Couldn’t understand what she was doing half the time. She would not increase the pressure on massaging my muscles even when I asked her too, because her massage consisted of only skin rubbing. Oh, and she also put some sort of eye fold over my eyes that was really heavy, which made my experience worse. And I forgot to mention, she massaged my ears too. What a ripoff! They just lost me as a customer.

Enjoyed the massage given by Jeff. Facilities are maintained nicely.Parking though was a bit cumbersome. Drove around for several minutes before finding a parking spot. I overheard another customer complaining of the same issue. Maybe dedicated parking is a solution?

So today was my first my massage in over a year. When I scheduled my appt I asked for a hot stone massage but there were no hot stones In my massage at all; then the masseuse didnt even ask me to turn over he just did my back part of my body but not the other side which I thought that was a given. The massage was just alright, nothing special.

Had a monthly subscription there. I had to cancel it, because theyre never have availability on the weekends when I need a massage. I have to take my business elsewhere since I can never get in on a weekend. I still have two massages built up there that I cant get.

Cant ever get in to use my giftcard. I had money wasted on a giftcard I cant use. The only option Ive been given is sorry you can buy our products instead. Sorry Im not interested in your products. I would like to get for a service but that doesnt seem to happen. Im very discouraged and dont even want to use my giftcard at this point. Id rather have been cashed out but thats not a possibility. Just a waste of my money.

Liked my couples massage, used TradeFirst and they honored first time massage price. We go to the Lavida in Plymouth a lot. My boyfriend thought his masseuse gave an okay massage but not the best. The only complaint I had was my masseur blew his nose in the middle of my massage, didnt wash his hands, left the tissues on the wall shelf, and then went back to my massage. And I know it was an evening appointment but he was wearing (what looked like) sweat pants and converse. I was too embarrassed to say anything, but it was kind of unprofessional...

Husband paid for couples massage and recd a free massage. I called to see if they could extend the expiration date of the free massage. They said they could not because of their computers. Really? Its a small business. Completely inflexible and not nice about it either. I wont go here.
