Absolutely horrible experience. I have had numerous massages before and never has it been bad. This was absolutely a bad massage!! I took 20 minutes to fill out their forms and she didn’t even bother to look at it! She called me into the room immediately ( before I left the front desk) she walked in on me undressing , didn’t knock or wait!! She didn’t address my concerns until I ask her to and then I had to ask several times. It felt like I was being pushed around on the table instead of being massaged. When I left, The receptionist asked me how it was and I said not so good and her reply was well, I guess you’re not interested in the monthly package!!! Never asked what happened and why it was bad. Fen was very unprofessional and inappropriate.

I get really great massages from Tina here. Tina gets 6 stars out of 5, she is absolutely phenomenal!I would think twice about getting a subscription though, especially if you are a working individual. I have already gifted several of my credits because it is so hard to get in with my massage therapist on the days that I want even when I try booking in advance. I had a booking for a different service for my birthday which I scheduled way in advance and they called me to try to change the time from 1:00 pm to 4:15 pm the day before. I had to use a vacation day for work to make sure I had the day off. They said they scheduled the tech without a break so they wanted me to move it back. Well, I cannot move it to 4:15 so I told them to just cancel it.On a different occasion I arrived a early for my appointment as suggested and the doors were locked and nobody answered the phone. As I was sitting in my car trying to call, someone came to the door to unlock it.Another time my tech was running a little behind which I understand that things happen.I would just think if there are going to be constant issues with scheduling that maybe you would offer the customer a boost or something so they dont feel more stressed out than before they even made their appointment. I am pretty sure my subscription is almost over otherwise I would be making a big deal and trying to cancel it. I definitely wont be renewing my subscription.

Idk about these other reviews but my experience here was fabulous from start to finish!! the ladies at the front were so nice, Noami was so great, addressing my concerns, nice conversation, and left me feeling BRAND NEW!!! i literally never leave reviews but i felt like i had to so that people can see how positive this place can leave you!! I’ll never go anywhere else tbh

I was looking for a new massage place because I really need it a targeted area on my body. I made an appointment at massage envy and I felt rushed not only was my masseuse running late, but she also rushed through my massage when I really needed a good one. I would not recommend this place, plus they are overpriced

Noami provided an excellent 60 minute massage. I added the aromatherapy option and was very pleased with the Unwind scent package.I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the issue with booking on the website. They did not have my aromatherapy saved as my choice and it took the technician extra time to prepare. Also, your 60 minutes is really only 50 minutes because they include your undressing/dressing time in that schedule of time. Overall Noami was excellent 5 stars and would recommend picking her as your therapist but going to a chain felt rushed and not serene.

I couldnt hate the Massage Envy company any more than I do. Nothing about this place is relaxing - my blood is literally boiling any time I have to deal with incompetent workers or criminal policies. Ive been a member for years and I regret all of the money Ive given this company.

My experience as an undergraduate Massage Therapist here in 2017 was deeply troubling. I wouldn’t mind being sworn in for any therapist that has worked here before, during, or after this time for testimony under oath. I need therapy for what happened here. I was recently contacted and being considered for employment at Valparaiso Massage Envy’s location, and I felt that wasn’t appropriate for me, however I would consider massaging someone for up to 2 hours. I then received a second call from Chris minutes later telling me in a very shrill and loud manner that I was not to come to the interview and I that I am BANNED. Today was supposed to be the interview so I decided to write a review instead, because aside from hiring a lawyer, this is the only other thing that I can do to get the word out about Chris and how she covers up sexual harassment within these sugar walls.

I booked my first massage at this location. I was 12 minutes late when the shop called me. As I hurried out the door to the appointment, I asked what my options were and got into my car. I was unaware of any 50% of the cost charge for tardiness but the attendant impatiently insisted she told me the day prior. They said they were charging my card right now. I have children with special needs and I am disabled myself, Im doing the best I can currently. I had a large amount gift card to use so money wasnt the problem its the principle. Why are these people so combative and inflexible? I was the one missing out on time I paid for. Why did they assume I intended not to pay? I was happy to get the remaining time but not after they didnt even wait for me to arrive before charging my card on file. And not after they were impatient and calling me Honey. Speaking down to customers is poor business conduct.Im astonished this happened and all while I was still in my car and on the phone with them. They didnt even know if I was bailing. Shouldnt they wait for confirmation? I am a local business owner and would never have behaved this way. Customers should be able to ask questions without inciting aggravation and impatience in the attendants.Additionally the attendant did not inform me the day prior over the phone of the charging of my card. I assumed the card on file was common practice as with other businesses.Needless to say I did not receive any service nor did I ever make it in to speak to an actual person.I have copied this message and am reaching out to this companies main corporate entity as well as social media outlets to leave a review.Do not call me to argue. I will not engage you. ☮️✌️

This place, and especially corporate MASSAGE ENVY is the worst. They are a scam when it comes to the monthly membership massage deal. My mother was a member for years and accrued many 1 hour massage vouchers over the lastyear because she can no longer use the vouchers because she is 92 and can not drive anymore. She gave my wife and me each 1 voucher(2 total) to get a 1 hour massage. We scheduled this (50 minute, not even an hour) massage over 3 weeks ago and I verified on the phone that this was fully paid for and there was no additional fee. The lady on the phone looked in the computer and said yes, we have your names in the computer for the 50 minute massage. So the big day for massage comes, we pay for a babysitter for 4 hours, drive over an hour (which is the closest MASSAGE ENVY from Monticello) go inside, fill out 10 minutes of forms and agreements and then she says, oh, there is no credit or voucher for the massages for you. I explained the whole thing, she goes in the back, come out and says I spoke to the manager (on the phone, because there wasnt one present) and she said there is nothing they can do and we would have to pay $70 each for the massage. That was definitely scheduled and paid for months before, and verified by the incompetent worker over the phone when we made the appointment. Now me and my wife are so mad and disappointed, and I tried to explain again, and said why would they have our names in the computer when we called if there was no voucher? There is definitely 2 valid vouchers,, because my sister just used the one she received a week ago at a different location. The worker behind the counter said, there is nothing I can do. So we leave very frustrated and drive home over an hour. And still had to pay the babysitter fee, and gas money, and almost 3 hours of waisted time. I will never get my wasted time or money I spent back. This is the worst service from a multi million dollar corporation that I have ever received. Very dissatisfied.We told my sister when we got home, and she said they are incompetent idiots and sent me the email that has the verification showing our 2 valid vouchers from Massage ENVY corporate office. I expect to be fully compensated for my lost time money, and 2 vouchers.Alan M

5/25 update: per the suggestion by Massage Envy below, I sent a message through the website provided. Have not heard back. I called yesterday and spoke with Chelsea who would not tell me when Jess will be in and took a message. I called today and left another message with Angel. Again, she would not tell me when Jess will be in. I resent my cancellation form to Jess and reiterated that their refusal to process my request in a timely manner is unprofessional. We are a military family and my husband recently retired and is in-between jobs as he adjusts to civilian life. We had to make some economies and I SHOULD NOT have to explain these personal issues with them but here we are. Messing with a career veteran and his family is NOT OK. I will update again, particularly if I have to get our military legal services involved.My rates are going up...again, so I decided it was time to save some money and cancel my appointment. Im sick this week so I asked my husband to go pick up a cancellation form. The assistant clinic manager, Angel, would not provide it to him and said that Jess, the Cancellation Manager, would call me. I called the location when he returned home empty-handed, wanting to know why I have to be called to cancel an account. I was told, by Angel, that Jess would call me when she had time. No, I want an extension for Jess and a full name to write a complaint to. Angel would not provide me any more information, only that Jess would be in, in the afternoon. I had to ask further to find out when Jess would be in (3pm). Then after hanging up I get TEXT MESSAGE that Jess wont be in until 3pm TOMORROW and wont I have a great day?! No, that is not how you provide good customer service - you dont avoid and evade your customers. I was going to just cancel; now Im writing reviews too. Very upset. Also, tried to get a facial a couple of times but no one would ever call me back. In all, this location has had enormous turnover in the 5+ years Ive been a member. Will be cancelling and never going back.

I’m so sorry to write this review but it needs to be said. This was the worst massage I’ve ever gotten. I’m not going to post her name because she was very nice but I honestly was just wanting the experience to be over. I think she was new because there was no flow to the way she did anything. You can add on “extras” for $15 like feet and hands and my husband who bought it for me thought that added time. It was just a bit confusing on pricing so I ended up only getting a 30 minute massage after the “add ons” deducted from the massage time. I really wasn’t enjoying the experience so instead of offering to pay more for the hour and a half I thought I was getting I just let it go and was kind of happy it was done. I’ll never return (staff was friendly and the space was clean though)

I was a bit worried to go here after seeing all of the negative reviews. I dealt with 2-3 staff members during my visit and they were all friendly and accommodating. My masseuse did a great job doing a full body massage. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

My name is Ruth ...under husbands Google acct. I Considered a membership since Doug (therapist) was so professional! I enjoyed the 2 massages. One was gifted to me an one was purchased. Lady explained to me that because first one was a gift and second one was actually me purchasing first massage myself I would get introductory offer of 75 for the 1 1/2 hr massage. Then while checking out lady said 135. I explained and she was somewhat aggravated as was the lady who quoted me the price. Instead of admitting her mistake she defended with an un truth. 😣 They are the first you see and last you see an after a good massage you dont want staff to stress you out again. Or is that how you keep customers returning? I did get the 75 pricing but should not of had to argue for it.

Very disappointed have been trying to cancel my membership since last Monday1/31/22 was told that someone would get back to me or email when completed. Every time I called was told the person wasn’t in. Called today at 9:30 was not happy as still not canceled was told bypass Halyee there was nothing she could do and that the Manager Chris who had just came in but could talk to me would call me back that was 4 hours ago. Still waiting. Very unprofessional I feel they are waiting because my next direct withdrawal comes out next week.

Trying to get them to transfer a massage over to my family member was a huge headache the first one did go though but my family member had to wait for transfer and the transfer should have been done two days before. I just called them this morning to transfer one more massage to another branch and the employee told me the complete opposite what I was told when I joined about a transfer. Huge headache . They can do better. I’ll never join again. Bad business

I go to ME to help with muscle pain. I see the therapist Jason and he is amazing! He is very knowledgeable about what he does. He always asks what I want to focus on but if he notices that working another area will help he lets me know and sure enough it does. He is perfect on pressure and adjusts when you need it. Since I have been seeing him my pain has decreased significantly. The enviroment is relaxing and I like how the tables are warm, making you comfortable. Very happy and definitely recommend.

They have been consistently making errors with appointments. For example, they have double booked my mother and then when she was supposed to have an appointment they managed to not even have it in the system. They they did the same thing with my father’s appointments. Mistakes happen but the issue here is the staff does nothing to try to address/fix the problem, let alone apologize for the errors. The actual services themselves are great but a business needs good customer service and organized scheduling to succeed.

Service was decent, the run through therapists and I could ever get the same one, constantly explaining my issues with back pain over and over. I canceled my membership and tried to use credits I had built up. Therapist number 3 or 4 cancelled on me. Then out of no where months after I canceled they just started billing me again. Ignoring my emails. Dont go here.

I got a massage this morning and the massage therapist assigned to me was not good. I dont know if it is because I am pregnant but I didnt feel relaxed. I feel like I just got rubbed and I even requested to put pressure when massaging my feet because it is the part thats been bothering me. She adjusted the pressure at first but still not satisfying. The neck and back massage was horrible as well and I got in at 9:35am and the massage ended 10:25am. I paid for a whole hour so my 10 minutes was gone in the wind. I am never coming back to this place. Such a disappointment.

My review is based on my experience 2 years ago. Came here for a massage on my Birthday and the masseuse talked through my entire session. She did not apply enough pressure, it felt like a kid gave me a massage. I would not recommend this place, I received better massages at Southlake mall. When I get a massage I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE A CONVERSATION. I PREFER PEACE & QUIET SO I CAN RELAX AND ENJOY THE MASSAGE I PAID FOR.I wouldnt recommend nor will I be returning.

I came in today for my 40th birthday for a healthy skin facial from Randy and a sports massage from Tiffany. I have to say it was a great experience from both ladies. Both very professional and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole session.Randy really listened to my skin care needs and really helped the appearance of my skin in just one session. I didnt think it was possible.I definitely will be back and would recommend these ladies.

This place is a complete rip-off. Paid for 30 min massage and received mediocre service and could hear the masseuse breathing heavily the whole time. I told them not to focus on my shoulders and she almost dislocated them during the upper body. 30 min massage was 23 mins tops. Unfriendly staff. Pay less and go to a privately owned boutique. Save yourself the headache!!

The therapist assigned to me asked if I wanted soft or hard intensity in her strokes. I asked for softer. Apparently you need A dictionary because she was no where near soft. I even asked her to be less intense. She did for 2 minutes then it was back to really hard and intense.When I get a massage it is because I need to destress. This chick would not shut up and to top it off it wasnt just chit chat but a freaking sales pitch to purchase a massage club membership. just a pain in the tush!!! I wont be going back.

Nice new place. Kyle gave a very good massage. Staff was extremely friendly. I did the 10 minute add on door scrub and only wish it was an additional 10 minutes and not part of my 50 minute massage. This wasnt explained clearly so I was unaware.

I joined for the year and I must say I was happy with the massages - especially the hot stone . The problem there is the front of the house - attitude and arrogance were the theme . They changed policies midstream (new additional charges ) .When I quit they wouldnt honor my last session - even though it was paid for .In short very poor business sense -- its a shame

Had a membership, but stopped it after we were told that we had to use the time up before it expired. Then I was charged an extra $10.00 for a supposedly transfer fee because I used one of the hours. Finally, when by girlfriend went in to use the remaining 1-1/2 hours before expiration, they charged our account another $60.00, in which we had to call to have it credited. Watch out!!
