Ive been coming to Orchid Massage for...must be going on 15 years now, with all manner of muscular gripes and complaints, and each time I have walked out completely refreshed and rejuvenated. I have a favorite masseuse, who knows me on sight (despite my having lost a good 50lbs since the last time I saw him), and he is incredible: frightfully strong, competent hands, that somehow know what Im suffering from, and how to fix it, without me uttering a word.Last nights visit was a little different. My wife has been suffering from a pinched nerve in her back for almost two weeks now, which has caused all manner of excruciating pain in her neck, shoulder blade, and radiating all down her right arm, to the point of bringing her to tears. Despite her incredibly high pain tolerance, she has declared, on more than one occasion, that she would rather be in labor again than have to deal with the agony any longer. It was time to call in the big guns.Fortunately, my long time masseuse was still there, and available. After sitting her down and explaining her situation, he went to work for 30 minutes, focusing on all of the locations mentioned. He seemed to intuitively know what to do, and at the end of it all, my wife sighed in relief...the first time in two weeks...at the almost total alleviation of her pain.Overnight, the pain did come back, but greatly reduced from before, along with a little expected soreness. Whereas before she was nearly paralyzed at times, shes able to move about, and function like a human being again. Issues like this rarely go away after a single treatment, but as several chiropractic and urgent care visits, as well as a cocktail of pain killers, havent been able to mitigate her suffering at all, the fact that a single visit to Orchid Massage was enough to set her to rights is just about the best recommendation I could give for this place.Well absolutely be back for a follow-up visit (or two) for her, and maybe Ill get around to addressing that knot in the back of my neck, as well. I know just the guy who can do something about it!
This place charges more than what you specified with them. Especially the female masseuse..she isnt honest. I specifically pointed to her the service I want but she will deliberately massage you lightly...and when you ask her to make it harder, at the end of the session she will charge a different rate pointing to the deep tissue. Communicating with them is terrible since they only speak their language. She gave me a rate that was high enough that youd think she already included the tip.I didnt tip her because she was dishonest. If you want a deep tissue massage without being charged extra ask for a guy. I dont even known if theyre better.
I have sciatica nerve pain on both upper, my tailbone and my coccyx… been having pain for years and gotten worst.. I came to this place randomly.. came from LA. Wow this massage guy really fix me up.. I walk out normal and with no pain at all.. he knew where it hurted with one me telling the pinch points! I’m amazed, whenever I’m here I’ll come back! Gave him $20 tip he deserved it.. if I had more I’ll give him more because it was in shocking! Loved this place 🙏🏻
Employees were very rude. I got a upper back and neck massage and it was awful. There was pressure on my esophagus the whole time and barely any pressure on the actual massage itself even when requesting more/hard pressure. Lotion was used without asking and got in my hair, which isnt the end of the world but was still rude. At the end I wasnt going to tip them then she was begging for a tip and when it was below 5 dollars she scoffed which I then respectfully walked away.
Asked for deep tissue, got deep tissue only in neck. And just was not good and I don’t like complaining
Always a rejuvenating experience! Ive been coming about every two weeks for the past year and my health and well being have improved. I had a stressful job and I performed better after getting into a regular routine. This has made me believe that massage isnt a luxury, but part of regular health care. Everyone is highly skilled and I especially like Clark. Definitely recommend!
Stopped in without reservation and was warmly great and promptly given a 30 minute chair massage. Masseuse did great and I felt so much better!
Massage was ok a 1 hr chair massage this guy was mumbling very upset talking their language he wasn’t contented with me giving him $7 it was a chair massage. Come on that’s not good. I gave $7 base on how i feel and the quality. If i was lying down with some aroma oil to rub on my back yes I would give $10. He was only focused on my upper back. My tip was not too bad wow!!!
With lower volumes of shoppers on most occasions, it is nice that a massage stop still gets the chance to thrive. The people who work here so hard to make your comfort are keeping with well known techniques. My knots are feeling looser thanks to these fine people.
This place is so awesome, I come from Portland almost weekly to have these guys work on my back. I would drive 200 miles if I had to. And yes like other people said. They dont really speak English that well and yes they might not be 100% in tune with American culture, but if you give them a chance. Its worth it to step off your high horse and get some good old fashioned Chinese massage.
I’ve been here a few times and there have never been any issues other than the person eating their lunch 2 feet away from my face while I was getting a massage. Today however is a completely different story I was getting a 30 minute chair massage it was going fine – in the middle of it they ask me if the location of the face rest was ok. I said it was fine. Another man who was not doing my Massage came over and started speaking to the woman who was my massage therapist and then ask me again if it was fine I said it was. Then this other guy came over and put his hand on the back of my head – he was not my therapist and forcefully pushed my head down on the rest. I grabbed his hand and moved it off my head and then stood up because I don’t know about anyone else, but when a man grabs my head and forces it down we have a problem. They wanted to charge me for the entire Massage - I ended up paying because I just wanted to get out of there and I explained to him that he had no business being involved in any of my Massage nor should he ever put his hands on the back of a woman’s head and force her head down. There were other women in there and I said I don’t know how they feel but I know that that is not acceptable. I’m not overreacting, he wasn’t my masseuse and out of nowhere he just forces my head down. Like you know the kind of thing you press charges over.
Same strokes over and over. Only did the back, never had me turn over, hardly touched the legs and had an abrupt bedside manner. When I gave him a $5 tip, he snatched it out of my hand and didnt say thank you. He didnt speak enough English to even understand, Should I take my socks off? It had some good qualities, but I wont go back. My legs still really hurt, so its like I threw away $45.
This place is my go to massage parlor. They are so friendly and know you by name. They are very well priced and give amazing massages. Michael is fantastic. If hes there ask for him. Id definitely recommend those place for either a quick treat while shopping or a nice little relaxing moment for yourself.
Just leaving now. Worst massage ever. Asked for my neck and shoulders. Didnt even get my neck. He kept going over and over my right shoulder blade and my spine! I told him it hurt and I got a shock. Now I have a migraine because he kept going over the same spot. Wish I knew his name. Please people do some research before a massage. I am a therapist myself and this was wrong in so many ways.
Therapists here dont know what they are doing, they just go over and massage one tiny little area with brute force until you tell them to stop, they massage somewhere else and not even 20 seconds later they return to that same area. Thats what the workers did to me like 7 times during the same 10 minute massage. Also the guy kept applying sudden brute force on my back as if he was a chiropractor, left my whole mid spine hurting , when I tried talking to the owner he told me you work too hard not even listening to a word I was saying. I have my doubts that any of these therapists are even licensed, I came here twice and both time I walked away with an injury. Of course, second time was on me for giving them another shot. They also talk to each other loudly next to your ears in a different language not even paying attention to the massage youre paying for. Would not recommend.
I took my girlfriend to get a massage because she had surgery that has caused some pain. When we first walked in the people were very rude and demanded we sit down and wait, which wouldnt have been a problem accept we had never been there and did not know that standing at the desk to ask a question was apparently not allowed. Then when my girlfriend got take back she told me that the man doing her massage was aggressive and putting his elbow directly into her painful spots and pushing as hard as he could. Then when it came time to pay I paid and the man looked at me in disgusted and demanded a tip for a massage that my girlfriend absolutely hated and a massage that just put her in more pain then she was in before. We will NEVER be returning to Orchid Massage and we will be telling anyone who asks that they are the worst choice ever.
2nd massage ever in my life. 1st time here. Guy was rough, was ok at first but he hit my spine pretty hard... woke up next day, bruised. Was fine until the bruised area started hurting soooooo bad. Felt like a huge knot in my upper back. Went to my chiropractor to correct it. Help for a few hours but now I am in so much pain. Cant cough, can barely breath without my upper back hurting so much. Will not go back.
Very disapointed. My wife and I arrived an hour prior to close. We sat down, picked our massage package, and patiently awaited to be assisted. After 15 minutes the masuse informed us and the woman who was before us that they would not be able to assist us tonight and to come back tomorrow. I would have appreciated immediately as I walked in that they were no longer taking appointments. Waste of time , glad I didnt waste my money!
Amazing people greet you. We had 3 massages done 2 chair massages for 10 mins each and 1 foot massage for 30 mins.. best time of our lives!!! The massages were amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs or just wants a massage! Really good pricing and even better massages!!
I went there today for a foot massage and the guy kept turning my feet so hard he almost ripped my ankle ligaments. I nearly suffered a very very serious injury there. I will not be going back!
I came in because I have been feeling a sharp pain in my neck and wanted it fixed. 30 minute chair massage should do it right? Nope. He was super aggressive and only made my neck feel worse. Waste of $30.
I love the food. Also you can tell the servers are really overworked, but they still give really wonderful customer service. I do wish there was some way to tip the cooks. The cooks are freaking amazing!
I have been here about 5 times now and have always been very happy with my massage. I love the convenience!!! I give it 2 thumbs up! Totally worth every dollar spent!
Unlike the cry baby Democrats. I liked my massage they earned the 60 dollars a hour or 200 thousand plus a year. Great job hard work pays off
Best place around for a massage. Especially a foot massage. I posted prices in pictures. Michael is the best. Never too long of a wait. No appointment necessary. Appointments are available though.
I go here when I have knots in my back from work. Theyre really good at working them out. Great foot massage too!
Friendly staff.Good massage. Not 5 star because is hard to communicate with staff and the place could look better especially because is in the mall.Overall I recommend this place 👍🏽
It would be nice if they had someone that could translate English. Ive had nothing but good to great massages but its a little bit awkward not to be able to talk to them.
Ive been Going here for 15 yearslast time I went there was a question about the tip and the man demanded to know how much money I put in the jar I was flabbergastedtheyve never questioned my tip before and I was shorted on my massage timeso yeah yeah very sad that I wont be back
This place is a scam ! Went for a $12 massage and was charged triple the amount . The number provided on website and phone directory is invalid. Also most uncomfortable massage I’ve ever gotten.
They are getting too greedy you offer them some tips and they want more they see what you have in hand and they want to take it away from you thats not the way to win your customers Trust
Michael. Omg he is literally incredible. He is the only one I will go to actually because the other people hurt my back. But dude, hes INCREDIBLE!
WARNING DO NOT COME HERE I had a massage before work I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HER 8 mins she continued to do it longer than what I asked and she charged me for more than what I asked for how was it my fault I didn’t have a timer if a customer requests a certain amount of time please respect that they try to come up on your dime and try to play like they don’t understand DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY HERE
Always very relaxing..clean..great service..very professional...I come here at least once a month for full body. I always leave feeling so much better than when I arrived. Thanks guys!
Been going here for years. Michael is top notch. Very good value and most of the time no wait.
By far the best massage Ive had. Michael knows his way around a sore back.
My favorite massage place. I’ve been all over the Vancouver area and this one does the trick every time.
They are a lil rough for your first time and they spoke lil English
Great work! I always leave feeling a lot better. Thanks guys.
The foot massage was fantastic!
I was skeptical, but he actually did a really good job.
Very good serves.Very nice people.
Good, hard chair massage.

The worst massage Ive ever received in my life. Rude people. Faces on you. I felt like I was dough
