Save your time & Stay away from this SpaI had an appointment at 5pm on 07/23 with Carla. I showed up at 4.55 pm and the sign said we are open as shown in the picture but door was locked out and no one was inside. I waited for more than 30 mins and called multiple times their number left voice message but didn’t get any response. I had to travel next day so my entire plan was messed up and they wasted my entire evening. Next day, Carla called me just to accuse me that i had cancelled the appointment online but they didn’t have any proof even the appointment was scheduled over phone so how can i cancel online. They issue group-on coupon just to waste your time so don’t fall for it. They were very rude over message next day and keep accusing me that i had cancelled without any proof when I already have plan for spa before my travel.Please stay away from this Spa if you want to save your valuable time. Staff are rude, don’t treat you with respect. Don’t recommend this place!

This place was so cute, I would have never guessed that it was in that building. She made me downstairs we walked inside and it was so quiet and peaceful and or it was just amazing her office was decorated nice just felt really good! 12/22 review: I had a 3pm massage booked on Tuesday. I arrived at 2:50 and waited outside the dark room of the spa until 3:20. I called and left a voicemail at 3:08 asking what was going on. I’m a good tipper and this is the third time I’ve gone to this place (or would’ve been) so I can’t imagine this was on purpose. I’m also a very understanding person. Andrew was late to the other two massages but he made up for it. This time he never showed and the spa didn’t call me back at all. I gave them over two days to call me back before I decided to change my review. This is just unprofessional. I really liked Andrew’s services but I don’t think i will be going back. Unfortunate.—November Review: Andrew was phenomenal. I actually think he was sent from the heavens with his hands. And I am not religious at all. But I will only recommend him until the end of time. He is phenomenal, knowledgeable, and nice.

I meant to post before now but Andrew is a wonderful massage therapist. He uses great pressure, mindful touch techniques, and genuinely cares about delivering the best care to his clients.I have chronic rotator cuff and scapular pain and tension and Andrew not only takes care of those problem areas but also in the time allotted, manages to find the problem areas you didn’t know you had.He is considerate and competent and consistent. I highly recommend him.

I recently had a Swedish massage from Karla and it was fabulous! I arrived early to my appointment and Karla was there and able to start my session early. It was a wonderful massage, super relaxing and just what I needed! I love Silk Hands Spa because I am always able to find an appointment that works great with my busy schedule. I highly recommend Karla and the team at Silk Hands Spa.

I came in this morning for the “mom’s time out” (a massage and facial) I had a wonderful experience. The office was very clean and spa-like with nice relaxing music. The massage bed was comfortable and warm. Karla has great attention to detail, she has a very good pressure and makes sure you are comfortable. I will be coming to see her regularly for more treatments, as well as recommending her to my friends and family.

Absolutely horrible experience. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue with Karla and I showed up at 6pm with my apt starting at 6:15. I did not get into the massage room until after 6:20. The person doing the massage was not Karla (i did not get this persons name). The massage was very minimal and only focused on my shoulders. She left the room for a customer during the massage, came back in and spent about five minutes on my neck. She then said “thank you for letting me work with you today” and left the room. I looked at my phone knowing there is no way that was 90 minutes and the clock said 6:50. I came out of the room and told her I booked a 90 minute massage and she proceeded to tell me that we did over an hour. I sat there in shock because clearly it wasn’t even 7pm and it was at the MOST 30 minutes in length. She then charged me for an hour and told me “next time you can have a free 15 minute massage”. Horrible service and no apologies from the person who gave me the massage. Will not be returning.

Karla was amazing! My husband got me a massage as an anniversary present and I will say, I need this same gift every special occasion! Best massage I’ve ever had.

I signed up for the membership a few months ago and its been a great experience. Karla is always easy to work with and does her best to target the areas on your body that need the most work. For me the right pressure is hard to find when getting a massage, but she finds the perfect amount and always checks in to ensure youre comfortable. Shes also been respectful and mindful of the new Covid policies. I always enjoy coming in for a massage here!

Karla gives the best massage I’ve ever had. She is able to get deep into the muscles to work out all the stress from weight training six days a week.You will definitely feel some soreness the next day but after that you feel so much better. Granted I do request a deep massage so if you want you can request a little lighter.She is great at adapting to your input so feel free to tell her when you need a change.

First visit today...wonderful experience! Karla gave me a pumpkin enzyme facial that left my face moisturized and feeling amazing, and she made some great recommendations for product to take home. Hubby got a CBD massage from Darcey and, although she hurt him, lol, he feels like a million bucks now. When you ask for deep tissue, its going to be deep!

I have my first CBD oil massage yesterday by Karla. I was a bit skeptical at first because we had a scheduling issue. It was sorted out and I appreciate Karla for providing an open and honest communication. Her room/office is clean and nice. I love the therapeutic smell of the massage room, instantly sent my nerves in relaxing mode. One thing I love about her spa is that her massage bed has inserts/padding that can be removed to comfortably lie face down without pressing down your breast! It’s life changing, I wish all the massage bed are like that. Karla’s massage has the right pressure for me and she is very gentle. We had a nice conversation and she even gave me pointers on taking care of my facial skin. I would love to go back again. Actually, I booked an appointment to try her facial treatments 🥰 Overall, Karla made my first CBD oil massage experience very relaxing that I actually bought CBD oil from her so I can try give my husband a relaxing massage. ❤️

I felt so relaxed and Karla was very mindful and just an all over great person to be around. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a massage. There is also a lot of different services.

I received a gift certificate to for Silk Hands Spa. I had a CBD oil massage with Karla. She was excellent. My legs and hips were super sore from a recent running event I had just participated in. Karla was able to apply adequate pressure to help loosen up my sore body!I highly recommend Karla if you are looking for an excellent massage.

My sister and I recently went to this beautiful place and they gave us the Swedish massage, we were lucky to be treated by Karla and Megan. Both are very professional and they love what they do.Of course, we are going back.100% recommended.

I usually have multiple massages per month and have been to several companies trying to find someone who is good, that I can keep going to and get the same consistent results each time. I have been to places that are in a building where I can hear people walking by to distract me or the walls are so thin I can hear people next door having lunch and talking, not a chain where people come and go and I cant get the same person. I found the place! Karla is by far the best massage I have ever had and I will continue going to her and her prices and service selection is great.

I wish I could give Karla 10 stars! I suffer from very bad shoulder and neck pain and went in for just a Himilayan salt stone massage but left with so much more. Karla spent the time to make sure she eased as much of my tension and pain as possible while keeping me relaxed and informed. Ive had numerous massages and this is by far the best massage Ive had by someone who is clearly so knowledgeable and passionate about the healing powers of massage. I dont have enough good things to say thank you for the wonderful experience.

I really enjoy getting massages here. They have a variety of techniques intermixed with the uses of different oils, such as CBD. All of their masseuses are quite skilled and enjoyable to talk with, I will be making this my regular go-to place!

My partner purchased a massage for me as a gift for our anniversary! He knew that I love CBD and I love massages but it can be difficult for me to endure a massage due to my nerves firing off due to a couple medical issues that I have. So, I was super hopeful that I would be able to enjoy the massage and the CBD massage oil actually made it more comforting while she was working on different muscle groups. CBD also has a calming effect on the body and brain. And, when I first contacted Karla, she was absolutely helpful and accommodating. She was patient and answered all my questions and made sure to ask what I wanted out of this massage. Karla was professional and also very good with her practice in massage. Ive had several professional massages and this by far was the absolute best, she was able to stretch and work through areas with the right amount of pressure and it was noticeable how beneficial the massage, even days afterwards. She was also very kind and personable, she was compassionate and made sure to check in with how the pressure was and was absolutely fantastic at what she was able to do in this massage. She uses the same brand I do of CBD creams and oils that I normally get through my familys chiropractor in Woodland and I really love the brands line of products, so that was a bonus. She was also very attentive and evenly massaged throughout the entire body, she was very thorough and detail orientated, which was an absolute delight from what I had been previously accustomed to when getting a massage. I will absolutely be going back and I highly recommend her. Honestly, I cant recommend her enough.Thank you so very much Karla, you are absolutely fantastic at what you do!

Just had a full body massage and it was amazing. I feel great!! The therapist was very careful and listened to what I said as far as pressure. Very experienced and new exactly where I needed attention and gave me great tips one how to work on my flexibility (or lack there of). HIGHLY RECOMMEND SILK HANDS!!

My boyfriend and I went here for a couples massage on our anniversary, we had Issac and Karla and LET ME TELL YOU. It was amazinggggggg. It is such a private and relaxing little shop and its quiet and personal unlike chain massage places. So comforting and they really personalize your massage. Will be returning soon!

My girlfriend purchased a 90 minute couples massage for our anniversary, and the experience was nothing short of incredible. I had shoulder pain, wrist pain, leg pain, and Isaac put ALL of it to rest. I also walked away with a new stretch to perform to reduce my shoulder pain. On top of their skills, Karla and Isaac were also really pleasant people to spend 90 minutes with. I would recommend Silk Hands to anyone, and will 100% be back!Thank you Karla and Isaac!

I always appreciate Karla’s attention to detail on the massage table. I also find every session is even better than the last. She really has a nack for leaning in and melting my overused, tension areas. Karla’s spa is immaculate and they carry the BEST skin care line, Eminence Organics

First massage post rotator cuff repair surgery so I had some apprehension, but also desperately needed the rest of my body to have some relief. So I booked the Himalayan hot stone massage with Karla and it was ah-may-zah-zing. Spa is very serene and well appointed, such cozy good vibes. Service was fantastic, Karla listened to my concerns and was cautious and attentive to them. Its been a few weeks and I still feel pretty loose. Karla is a delight and I was in melty-heaven by the time we were done. I went home and napped for 3 hours. So. If you need relief or relaxation, or even both at the same time, this is definitely your spot and Karla is the lady to take care of you. Parking is easy peasy and spa is literally only 15 minutes out of downtown Portland off-traffic.

Karla has dream hands. Look forward to scheduling and having a much needed facial with her too. Very nice lil clean quaint space, comfortable bedding (loved the heated weighted blankets), the relaxing smells and soft rolling waves totally relaxed the body ... Mahalo Karla and from my Mr, he can hardly wait to do another couples massage date .... me too 😉

(Update below)Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here.My massage was scheduled out for over a month (understandable during these times- but still a bit longer than most spas).Once that day came, I got a call a few hours prior explaining we needed to reschedule (also understandable during these different times).But then when I show up to my appointment, the doors are locked, and nobody will answer the phone (I called over 5 times) I find that disrespectful.Never heard back from them. Kinda the opposite of professionalism. I understand things happen- but no calling no showing is not something that will cause me to leave a good review. I wish I had this great communication everyone is talking about lol.Update:Jermaine is not affiliated with this business, they just share a space in the same office it sounds like. Carla was able to rectify the situation, but after telling me the cost of her massages were almost double what Jermaine had on Groupon, I opted not to go. Carla tried to make everything right and for that I appreciate. I cant speak on the massage though.

Carla is great, I go here anytime I need a massage. I got my wife a certificate for a couple services as well.

Went for an early Christmas present and had a 60 minute CBD oil (zero THC) massage. It was wonderful. Karla was amazing, she worked out all of the stress held in my neck and shoulders. She eased my lower back pain and relieved my sore calves and feet. The CBD oil helped me relax long after the massage was finished. I cannot wait to go back ❤️

Jermaine’s CBD massage is by far the best massage I’ve ever had. Beware though, once you get a CBD massage you can’t go back to normal regular massages. They’re just not the same.Spring for the 90 minutes and your neck and shoulder tension from the last year of stressful desk work will feel so much better. I have been having migraines lately and the neck massage released so more tension than I knew I had.Jermaine is also the only masseuse I’ve had that massages my face. Jaw tension is no joke and with how stressed out everyone is might be carrying it in your face too. These massages are worth working in to a weekend visit. I live in Seattle and still come to Portland for massages and to get my hair dyed. Highly recommend!

This spa has a really awesome location, i felt like i went back in time once i went inside the building. Such a cute vibe! She gave me a facial and did extractions, my skin feels brand new! Im in love with all the products she uses. I would highy recommend getting a facial here. Thanks Karla

I will be back... I enjoyed everything about my first time here. Very clean, nicely decorated and she was very nice. She explained everything, I had never had a salt rock massage before. I definitely recommend. Parking was easy I parked on the street so I did need a parking pass. Easy to find:)

I just had an extremely uncomfortable encounter with Carla here at Silk Hands. I had purchased a Groupon and followed instructions to call to make an appointment, then was instructed to schedule online so I did for a Saturday. When I arrived at my appointment we both recognized each other but from where I still do not know, although Carla kept insisting she had “worked on me” before. I honestly do not remember this and have had the same masseuse for years before just recently. Not a big deal but then she told me that Groupons are for new customers. It felt very weird because I honestly do not remember her massaging me. Anyway we moved forward and she then let me know again that I wouldn’t be able to use Groupons with her in the future(yeah, okay lady I get it). I told her I now felt weird as though she was excusing me of trying to scam her and I wouldn’t use it if she didn’t want me to. We got passed that and I began to fill out her paperwork, when then unprovoked she then tells me that her Saturday hours are usually reserved for existing clients and that I should have followed instruction on the Groupon and called (which I had). At this point her physic vomit was too much for me to handle. The bad vibes were so thick in that room that there was no way I was staying and told her that I was now uncomfortable and didn’t know what to do. She did offer to have me reschedule and she would find me a different therapist, or that I get a refund from Groupon. I left. As someone in the business of energy work and healing, as a therapist, and as a human being, I cannot believe she would treat someone with such accusatory and alienating behavior. I was so in need of comfort when I came to her for a massage that all I could do was sit in my car and cry. Oh, she texted to apologize and offered me a free hour facial. No thanks, lady, keep your bad vibes to yourself! Oh, I still don’t remember her, so if I was massaged by her in the past it must have been pretty unimpressive.

Definitely a different experience. This business is in an executive office building. From hallways & exterior this looks like a typical law office or insurance - suit & tie type place. That all melts away once you step inside the massage room. Tranquil setting & the most impressive, skilled, attentive & professional masseuse I have ever worked with! I will be back the next time Im in town!

Neelam at Silk Hands gives the absolute best facial I have ever had in my life! Not only was the relaxation part completely blissful and exactly what I needed (as a new mom) but the amount of improvement in my skins major problems in just one session was such a wonderfully unexpected surprise! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Neelam for facials, microblading, and lash extensions!
