The Salon of Venice

I’m from the north and have been in Florida since December. Needless to say my hair by March needed a good cut and color. I choose Salon of Venice and called and spoke to a stylist about how I needed someone to do a short haircut. Judy was my stylist and she didn’t disappoint one bit. She and the others who work there were very welcoming. I explained to Judy what I had in mind and she discussed it all with me.. she had a vision and my hair came out perfect. She actually listened to me and proceeded to do her magic. She has a lot of experience and it shows. Thank you Judy for a very positive experience. Don’t hesitate to call and request her. If I return to Venice I will call on you again. Thank you

Always the best service—Joseph and Bill listen to their customers and explain their art in ways a non-professional can understand. They always work around my schedule as best they can... I have observed the cuts and hair coloring, smiles and satisfaction of other clients—clearly they make many them happy. I gladly travel from Sarasota to their Venice salon!

First time and definitely not last visit! I even made an appointment for my husband. Great vibes with happy friendly staff and I got a terrific haircut out of the bargain.

When I got there they did not confirm what my reservation was for. The stylist area was filthy. I paid a good amount for color, highlights, trim and style. The style was a blow dry with spritz of hair spray that was left wanting. The color looked nice until I got home. Then I realized I had a huge stain all around my face. I had to go online to see how to remove it. I have never been in a beauty salon where I didnt feel welcomed until today. Not a good experience.

Got a great haircut from Joe. He is kind, talented, thorough, and gave me an overall perfect cut. ASK FOR JOE. There is a definite connection between his passion for cutting hair, and the results he gets. I am genuinely ecstatic about my hair cut.

The haIrcut was great. I did not like getting cut hair onmy clothes and on my body.The service could be im- proved w/ more sham- pooing and a neck coverage with tissue paper.
