Massage Envy

If youre looking for a top notch massage place this is it. We were greeted by friendly people at the front desk. We were handed an iPad to fill out our paperwork which went very easily. And we were quickly whisked away for a couples massage. They had called us earlier today to advise us that one of the masseuses was not able to be there today because she was so sick so we stacked our visits one on top of another. We appreciate the fact that they were able to work it out and that our masseuse stayed over to do both of us. We both got excellent massages that were gentle yet firm. She took the time to work out the knots that needed to be worked out. All in all a great experience. If youre looking for a massage I highly recommend this place.

Not sure if the therapist was new or just didn’t care, but it was a terrible experienceShe needs to trim her nails, keep a steady pressure, ( I think she started to fall asleep at one point), dim the lights, turn off a fan blowing on me, adjust the sheets properly and offer to heat the bed ( I eventually asked)Management basically told me it was up to me to inform her that the pressure was not good. They didn’t give me time to explain the rest.When I told Maria, her answer was “ it’s hard to know what pressure everyone likes ( she asked in the beginning) , then she told me to choose a different therapist next timeIt was my last session of my membership and it reinforced why I’m leaving…

I have had many massages in my life, but this was probably the best one ever…Kristina was very professional, courteous and really knows her craft. She was amazing! It was amazing. and the staff was so warm and welcoming. I loved it so much that I signed up for a 12 month package. Very affordable too.

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had! John was excellent! I go for regular massage and was traveling, so I decided to try Massage Envy in Venice. John’s technique was amazing! I was so impressed with John that I decided to sign up for a Massage Envy membership to use each time I visit Venice. Simone at the welcome desk also deserves a shout out for her wonderful personality and her detailed knowledge of the services and therapists. Great place with great staff!

Alysa provide me with a relaxing massage and just the right pressure to unlock my tight spots! Simone at the front desk was the best! She was polite, friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the services and staff! She really made me comfortable when I came in for my first visit! She is the reason I became a member!

Maggie was a great masseuse! She reviewed my problem areas and really worked out my kinks on my back! She is respectful of your time and only speaks during the massage to answer a question. I was truly able to relax and my body feels so much better today! I set up an appointment immediately for my husband too!

Maria was the best! She really focused on my problem areas, yet never neglected other areas on my body. She checked on me multiple times and made me feel really relaxed. I feel amazing the day after too! Totally recommend!!

Front desk staff greeted us with a big welcoming smile as soon as we arrived and were super helpful…AND Elizabeth did an amazing full body massage!! Great location with a smiling and friendly staff. My massage today was with Nelly. She was great! She was attentive to my needs for different pressure on different parts of my body. She used a combination of hot stones and deep tissue techniques that worked wonders on my knotted muscles.

I was probably one of the toughest clients for Maria. I had a muscle spasm around a knot and unknowingly could barely lay on the table.Maria was patient and knowledgeable and did her best to stretch out all the surrounding areasI would have had to go to an urgent care if I didn’t see Maria yesterday.Today I am a lot more mobile and will see a chiropractor for electro stimulation.Thank you Maria for your immediate help, trusting that we both knew what I needed.-Dave

My massage today was hands down the best I have ever received. John is a very skilled massage therapist. I would recommend him to anyone. I asked for a deep tissue massage for my back that was hurting for about a year. He found the areas causing the discomfort and the pain is now gone. Maria has been awesome each time I have been to her!! Perfect pressure and honestly she allows you to enjoy the massage without all the talk. I’ve been to so many therapists that want to just chat the whole time but Maria is great about that. Definitely recommend her!

Ive been here several times now that I have the membership, and all the staff has been friendly and professional! Ive had 2 massages from Alyssa, and she really makes sure she gets all my sore spots. Ive also had Carys give me my first facial, and that was amazing too!

Kristy was great! Aside from the service she provided, she also took time to thoroughly evaluate my facial condition and make maintenance recommendations. I’ve used the products Massage Envy promotes and they are awesome.

Kale was excellent! He paid extra attention to my areas of concern and relieved a lot of tension where needed. Had a much better nights sleep as a result. I would definitely book with him again.

The massage I had was amazing! However front desk manager was a bit rude and condescending. I was told before booking next appt that if I didn’t become a member the next massage would be almost double! This is bad business. Also, I had called prior to booking to ask if they would take my HSA card and lady on the phone said they did. But when I went to check out they said they didn’t accept it and manager/ front desk staff never apologized just kept acting like I was lying and said there was no way anyone would tell me that. Won’t be going back. There are plenty of other places that charge you same price every time and don’t force you to become a member.

I give Nelly, the massage therapist a perfect 5+ Star Rating, the policy of a reduced rate if a Member versus a much much higher rate for a non-member is ludicrous. Many like myself are unable to commit to a massage schedule monthly, but to increase the hourly rate from $70 to $120, seriously? I would bet my life that the Massage Therapists dont see a dime of that price gouge. Folks there are plenty of reputable Massage Therapists in the area that afford a flat rate, period! I met with the owner who tried to sell me on a prepaid plan, which would equate to $90 per hour. And dont get me started on the indignant receptionist, who did not like that I questioned this ridiculousness about having to join and pay monthly. She opened the second door, ushered me through it and then closed it quickly behind me, never bothering to walk me into the waiting area. That being said, whether you agree with the customer or not (you know the one paying your salary), you still exude common courtesy and manners, because you just gave this location a very bad name with your conduct.

All the staff are friendly and eager to assist you however they can. My masseuse Joani, is always very friendly and listens to me and whatever concerns I may have. I always enjoy my time at Massage Envy!

My massage therapist, Beatrice was incredible. I have some physical issues and Beatrice was extremely helpful in reducing my inflammation.I went on to my facial with Leeanna. I cant say enough. We discussed my skin care issues and my facial was created! She is very experienced.This visit was a 10!

I have had massages by Joanie for light and relaxing and Alyssa for deep muscle massage. Both are excellent therapists and respond to my needs for a particular day. I am so glad I found Massage Envy and find monthly massages to be of great benefit in controlling my fibromyalgia.

Liana is a very caring and knowledgeable employee! She is a great asset to your team. I will continue to come on regular visits with her!!

John is the best therapist!You have to fix the face rests. Your head pushes it in awkward positions because it doesnt lock. Really uncomfortable and annoying to hear it sliding out. Has nothing to do w/the therapist.

I had my first facial with Liana. She was amazing and the facial was so relaxing. When she was finished I felt she deserved a standing ovation! I will definitely return!

I love my massage therapist, she is awesome. Sadly the office manager has ruined my whole experience. The staff admitted to me for the past 3 months they are having problems with ACH withdraws from checking accounts so I paid cash each month this has happened. (I was told I could do credit cards but I am paying down my credit cards) I was told by the staff that I could pay cash each month do this until the ACH withdraw problem got resolved. Now this new manager blamed me and said I never paid them cash for my visits in Jan and Feb! (I told her to run the security cameras which shows me paying cash and discussing the whole issue w/ the ACH problem and Massage ENVY ADMITTING IT WAS THEIR PROBLEM AND NOT MINE) Yet she insisted w/out any evidence that its MY fault the ACH withdraws didnt go thru (my other bills all go thru just fine each month). I was never notified by my bank of any problems. I told her this and that I was going to be lodging complaints to the appropriate entities about their mismanagement of peoples finances. I have left a message with the corporate headquarters about my experience with this manager.

Carys is awesome. She acknowledges issues and her treatments fit my issues if any at the time. My skin looks amazing.

John gave me an excellent massage and it was challenging in certain areas , but afterwards I felt flexible in my shoulders and hips. He incorporates a lot of stretching moves that are very helpful! I rate him a 5 Star therapist.

The massage was great. I enjoyed it. I did not enjoy the experience. It is not a place designed with men in mind, which I get, women spend far more than men do on this kind of thing.The upsell was excessive. I understand it is a business, but I found the information they asked for invasive and unnecessary, all I wanted was a massage. The extras were marketed as feminine.I am tired of the subscription model as well. I get one or two massages a year. Without being part of the club, it is an expensive massage.

Liz listens to my needs (which change practically every time) and adjusts her technique. She’s good!

My mom always has problems with them running 15 minutes late AND tried to stop her massage 15 minutes early even though she wasn’t the one late..she has been cancelled on same day before.. 10/10 don’t recommend, definitely don’t get tied into a membership with them either or you’ll be stuck with the issues and still have topay!

The staff at the Venice Massasge Envy is always so friendly and accommodating! I messed up and had the time of the massage written down wrong in my calendar. When I realized my error, and called to say I was running late, the staff and therapist were not only accommodating on the timing, but they also allowed me to put a bag of lettuce I had in my car in the fridge during the massage. 😅 Definitely above and beyond customer service care!

Wow. I had Carys for a facial and she was excellent. She really took the time to understand my skin concerns and helped me find other gateways into the skincare community. She talked me through every step and her techniques were out of this world.

John was amazing!! He did a such a great job with my massage! He is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to help me with the issues I was having with my neck and shoulder. I felt like a new woman when I left.

INCREDIBLE therapists and staff! The Venice location has the best front office staff and most caring owners of any Massage Envy we have visited, and we have visited MEs around FL, NC, and CA! Massage therapy is not a nice to have -- it is a wellness component as necessary as any medication prescribed. Kristina and Joanie are our therapists, and we highly recommend them. Maggie and Patty are also excellent. Each is a competent therapist, professional and able to work magic on stressed muscles and aging bodies. The 90-minute session is the best and a membership is a value you cant beat. Invest in this like you would a gym membership -- its a decision you will never regret. Venice is blessed to have this Massage Envy location!

My 90-minute massage with Stephanie on 1.7.24 at the Venice location was easily and happily the best experience I have had in the many years of receiving these services at ME and elsewhere. Stephanie was thorough and considerate in reviewing my areas of pain or concern before getting started. She listened and responded to my requests and preferences, and kindly checked on my level of comfort during the session. Stephanie is extremely talented and proficient with the techniques, and balanced professionalism with a personable and compassionate approach. I wish every experience could rise to the level of satisfaction I left feeling. She was superior!

Loved my visit with Skyla. I had booked a 90 min facial however based on the condition of my skin, she recommended a microderm and cooling massage. It was amazing and my skin is glowing. She also made recommendations for at home care. Icant wait to go again.

5 Valeria was excellent with deep tissue massage. Listen complete to my issues and hit on each of them during my massage. Had a great night sleep and woke up feeling great. Emily was wonderful and suggested an add on foot exfoliating treatment it was great. Left with the heating roll on ointment, was a little nervous that it would get too hot but it was just the right amount of heat.

I visited Massage Envy in Venice while on vacation. I had the pleasure of meeting John my therapist there. John provided a deep tissue massage with special attention to my areas of concern. He was great and I would recommend a session with him if looking for a deep tissue massage.

I had pulled a muscle in my shoulder and in my back and was self-healing to the best of my abilities but I needed to get that last knot out so I walked into the Massage Envy its popular that they couldnt address a walk in but I rescheduled for a quick appointment for 4:30 that afternoon I was with John. John went right to that specific knot and kind of worked it out and it feels so much better now so I would rate the shop a five-star actually it wasnt a walk in but I got it really really quick and John was pretty aggressive in the Deep massage kind of got the knot out and it feels so much better so I highly recommend the shop so thats the five star for me. Did what I needed in good timing for a good price. Thanx.

Beatrice was great, very professional . But the talking outside in the hallway was very annoying and was hard to relax while getting a massage.

Beatrice provided a wonderful deep tissue massage supplemented by an enhanced service that really loosened and relaxed muscles made sore by a recent interstate house move. Just what I needed!

Kristina is simply amazing! She has a wealth of knowledge that translates into what I call a medical massage. She knows how to help relax and stretch those areas causing pain. But also provide a relaxing calming experience. She’s the best!

Selfishly, I almost didn’t post this because I don’t want her to get too busy to see me but I absolutely adore Beatrice and she is very deserving of the public praise! She is incredibly professional, technical, and thorough, yet also thoughtful and kind. She seems genuinely invested in helping me feel my best. I’m so lucky to have found her!

First I asked for a deep massage and it wasnt. The masseuse was very nice but the oils were cold and she used a massage machine for 10 mins that I have at home and the charge was $10 extra . I was crazy to agree . Her hand massage was light and not what I expected. I was very disappointed especially after this was a referral. Dont think I will be back!

The front desk staff in Venice are rude, not been trained, very unprofessional, totally don’t know customer service, and they over changed me, $130 for 45 min? And staff eating gin through the session. I will never go this branch anymore.

John has magic hands.If you’re looking for a deep tissue massage , he’s your man.

I had a great facial with Olivia last evening. She created a treatment plan for me and she was very knowledgeable. Her massage on my shoulders and arms were fantastic!I removed a star not from her, but because of the tranquility room. A guy with his wife were watching the news on his phone and it was very disruptive and not relaxing for me. I felt someone should have pointed out the “no cell phone sign” on the wall, place it front and center, or remind guests of the policy. Some of us are there to enjoy the full experience.

She is professional and explains what she’s doing with the specific creams and what they do for your skin. I loved her massage on my neck and shoulders also, which is part of the facial also. Had my very first salon facial for my 51st birthday (I know I waited way too long). Olivia made it comfortable and enjoyable. She also gave me info on what products will help me do better with my skincare regimen.

John is awesome. He seems to have a X-ray vision where my body needs the mostMassage treatment.

I’ve be getting massages for 20 year and I’m super picky about a good session. I’ve tried at least a dozen different venues in Venice Fl with no thought of going back. Jackie has 18 years experience and it evident after I received my 1st massage session with her. Great session and I’m scheduled 4 months out with sessions. Finally found the right establishment and certainly the right masseuse.

Maria is friendly, caring, kind and did a wonderful job listening and addressing areas specifically requested exactly with pressure and strokes requested.

I am very impressed with the Massage Envy in Venice. The facility is very clean and the staff very professional, kind and helpful. I also really enjoy my massages with Christina S. She is also very professional, listens and responds to my requests and provides an excellent massage at the pressure I prefer.

John is amazing! I have a lot of issues with my shoulders and he helped stretch and massage and work them to where I have a better range of motion. I already scheduled the next six appointments with him!

If you’re in pain, John is the masseuse for you. His knowledge and execution was spot on. I rebooked with him before leaving to ensure that I get him again next time. 10/10, I highly recommend John.

Have been paying monthly member for over 12 years… Frustrating when they cancel appointments day of. Then when you try to reschedule it is months out. When you schedule on the app it does not keep your information saved so you have to select approx 20 “preferences” each time even though it is in your saved personal account. Some employees are great others (ownership) nonchalant and dismissive to the issues.

Valeria provides very deep tissue massage and has an advanced ability to feel and respond to changes in tissue tension. She pays attention to the information the client provides and adjusts accordingly. Highly recommend if you like a very deep massage.

Christine was wonderful!! She really listened and worked on what my problem areas were. She also provided a lot of education on how to deal with my problem areas in between massages.

This may in fact have been THE most painful massage I’ve ever received. And I like “productive” massages. Thumbs-of-Steel-John knew just what I needed: a mix of stretching and pressure and counting me through the pain to release the knots and bound up nerves. And the following day, I’m still so sore. But it’s more like sore muscle from the gym soreness, different than the sharp nerve pain I had when I went in.One more thing. He was very professional. With male masseuses it’s good to know a woman can feel comfortable in their professional, capable hands.

My massage was absolutely fantastic but everything was an upsell. For an example...To have a percussion instrument used was $10 more. You are encouraged to return on a regular basis for your health & membership is recommended. There w as more but beware!
