The Hay Room Nightclub

We wanted try this place out. First, they charge a $5 cover after 9pm.... ok, but they don’t take cards at the door only cash,so you have to use the slow, $4 surcharge ATM to get cash. (We should have just left then). There weren’t very many people there, maybe 10. We stand at two different bars waiting to get drinks and can’t get service. Finally a bartender brings herself to the bar, then doesn’t have any Patron for margaritas, so we wait another 10 minutes for her to find some. then she doesn’t even shake the margarita, so there’s something thick at the bottom of the PLASTIC cup she served it in. Sooo, we go to check out the outdoor patio area and my husband went to dust off the stool before sitting down and there was something sticky and smelly (cat urine?) on the stool. Yep we were done. Then.... we realize it just cost us $11.75 for a Patron margarita and a Budweiser! Still waiting on the charge to clear my account... it’s pending for $25 right now.Oh! And it seems like they ran out of money when remodeling because it’s half done and looks like trash. Avoid this place. All the mechanical bulls and stripper poles in Victoria won’t keep this place in business.

Expensive drinks. Empty even at 12:30. Nothing but remixes. Just dont go. Not worth the pay. Only thing good is the bartenders are nice.

I love this place.. The bartenders are excellent... The staff are great as well... Id really be interested in working as a staff member here...

Had a good time and the security is nice not to worried about things going wrong here balloon drop was cool as well
