Service was fast and friendly. Ambience was amazing. Cant think of a better place to relax. Bar tenders were excellent and always asked if you would prefer a double. But just as happy to craft a mocktail.

They just opened for the season today. Stop at the podium in the hotel lobby, get your stamp, and an attendant will badge you in the elevator up to the bar. Looks like they did away with the poorly reviewed VIP igloos, and just did normal tables behind a rope. Definitely a club type atmosphere with a DJ and a house type music. Theres a full bar and a hot tub. You can dress in whatever you vacation wear is, but I recommend just dressing like youre going to the club. Ignore the fact that their website hasnt been updated since 2023 or 2020, they are now open.

We were super excited to try this spot Igloo Lounge for a birthday for 4 ladies... Customer service was the deal breaker. This place has potential but they definitely need an upgrade with their setup, heat, Bluetooth speaker, drinks and food. They do gratuity so get your moneys worth!

#IglooLoungeVB at the Hilton via Sky Bar was a great alternative to dining out considering COVID. Our own secluded dining experience with music, lighting, great view, our own waitor, and comfortable seating. Drinks were great and the food was good. When making reservations online be aware the foods online are not all on the regular menu; therefore if you see it and like it; order it online. Well worth the 90 minutes. Printing was reasonable. Its unfortunate there is a fee for use of the igloo and no entrées. Recommend and will visit again.

We went to the igloo lounge for Valentine’s Day and paid $100 to reserve a month in advance. The igloos not exactly secluded. I could hear the ppl next to us 20 feet away talking and partying. And the ppl from the hotel pool could see right into the igloo. It wasn’t that big of an issue. There is barely a view. You can’t really see anything unless you’re outside the igloo. Now the igloo itself was cold. The heater barely got above 57 degrees the entire hour & 45 mins even though we set it at 75. The food was not good at all. I would give it a 4/10. It wasn’t nasty but it wasn’t good. We probably had 4 shareables since there isn’t entrees on the menu. Drinks were a little better like a 6/10. Service was amazing, I can’t remember the servers name but she was attentive and nice. There is 18% grat included but we still tipped additional. All together 4 shareables 2 drinks tab was about 130. Probably will never come again.

Enjoyed My 45th Birthday at Sky Bar last night. DJ definitely know how to keep you on your feet. Staff warm and inviting from entry point to closing time while complementing DJ well. I absolutely had a blast, especially with family who accompanied me to make the day memorable. I look forward to coming again.

This is specifically for the Igloo lounge!I feel like there was a lot of false advertising here. There was a personal heater, unfortunately it did not get above 52° when I asked if we could turn it up, I was told it would work better lower. And there are blankets but these are small, thin promotional blankets that you would get from Crown Royal. Seclusion, not really, you will be placed in a private igloo but its about 10 feet away from another igloo, you will be able to hear each other and if you are not on the end you will have parties on both sides of you. View at night, we could not see anything, especially with the lights from their building. Altogether my expectations were way higher, we were so deflated, we just left after about 30 min.

I went in the daytime because I stayed at the hotel. I had a magnificent cocktail at 11 am and the view was superb.

This was nice, well heated, Bluetooth speaker, drinks were great. More food items could be on the menu. It is great for two or a group. Private, intimate, great conversation spot. Staff friendly

Nuance to our neighbors who to hear their music even though after numerous complaints. People are up till 2am. Music is loud. And extremely disturbing

The restaurant itself was great…but the cooks did an amazing job on the food everything was cooked perfect. I’ve had coconut shrimp before, but this was the best coconut shrimp I’ve ever tasted at a restaurant. Was very pleased.

Nice experience. But even for an avid concert goer the music was way too loud even when sat in vip behind the DJ. Not good for networking or professionals trying to talk. Very hard to hear waitresses/bottle service staff. Drinks were outrageously expensive. Like a bottle of Tito’s vodka was hundreds of dollars and that was the cheapest bottle. The bottle service waitress herself however was nice and brought us a variety of mixers. And even though I don’t drink, she brought me water. It would be nice if they had a mock tail menu for those who wish not to indulge. Unusual that there are pools but they are off limits to sky bar patrons. Nice views though. Parking is complicated to get to this venue.

This is an exclusive guest only bar except on Fridays and Saturdays as i understand. The drinks were good and there is a rooftop spa and pool for guests to enjoy (even though youre right on the beach). The bartender was very nice, polite and professional, even tough she was being hit on by a third party. You go girl! (visited 9/25/22)

Friday night DJ was amazing. He played a variety of super hot hits!

Roped off so you can’t even get to the edge to see the view. To get a seat you had to pay 150 dollars for a table. Would’ve appreciated to know this before going because someone in my party had an ankle injury. Overall not great and kind of tacky to not let customers sit.

Dec 2020 - The igloos are fabulous. A must do. Perfectly socially distanced. Great staff. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Riley and my server Jamie (both very nice, customer service savvy young ladies) are the only staff I have encountered. I came alone on the night of the conjunction and brought along Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris. I cant wait to re-read my favorite funny parts, if I get around to it. The views are spectacular at sunset. Wow. This is special and the price is a bargain considering the awesome surroundings. Thank you Hilton and Sky Bar. This was my Christmas present to me and you made it awesome!

I have never experienced attitude like the woman downstairs collecting money for entrance. As a frequenter of catch 31, I typically enjoy the Hilton amenities. However, I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and will not return.

Had an igloo booked for weeks and weeks. Came from out of town and this date night was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. They called the day of our reservation and said they decided to close for the day because of the weather. Its December. Its cold. Thats the point of opening heated igloos in the winter. Theres no rain/snow/wind and nothing on the radar. Just cold. Pretty disappointing. Meanwhile theres nothing posted in their IG, Facebook or Website about having to close because of the weather.

Hilton really missed the mark this time. We were amped to hopefully see the view, and were thinking about hosting an event here in the future. There were no signs for the sky bar check in, so we went to the top floor where they told us to go to the lobby. The guy in the lobby had no front teeth making it hard to understand what he was saying. He was sitting at the walmart card table with a 2010 Samsung tablet he couldnt get to work. After telling us we had to wait because there were some difficulties opening the club, it opened at 1015pm. He explained he couldnt get the device to work so we couldnt pay with a card. He asked us to go get cash from the ATM about 20 feet away. We declined at this point so he said he couldnt let us in. To bad. Maybe they dont like money. I dont know.

I came not knowing this bar was for members only or hotel guests. We walked up to the bouncer and he denied us entry until we finally told him we are doing this for a bachelorette party....that was nice of him. We got up and one of the bridesmaids was hungry so I asked for a menu. The lady bartender said they were only serving chips and salsa, but the man was nice enough to give us a full appetizer menu. She ordered her food and we were good to go! The music was great and the hotel/bar manager gave us free shots for the occasion....thank you maam! All-in-all, I give it 3-stars because this bar should be open to public considering the awesome rooftop view. Also, the bartenders need to be consistent with service. The guy that was served my drinks was awesomeee!

I went here and like many another restaurants/bars at the vb oceanfront, you have a good chance to be overcharged! Unfortunately, Ive had problems where Ive become super aware of the money Im spending in this area. Its not about the money so much as it is the employees willingness to smile at you and rob you at the same time. Thanks Joshua A

First of all let me just start by saying the event manager was on point! Christine was very easy and pleasant to work with while planning my 30th birthday there. The overall venue was nice however I’m not in to fist pumping, jumping constantly and techno type of music. I did enjoy people watching but music was just not my type. Waitress was MIA most of the night and by the time my beer arrived it was hot. I’d give this 0 stars but Christine was amazing.

It was okay, I would not return. The menu is very sparse so dont come hungry expecting a whole meal. What we did have was average, I mean itll due in a pinch. The view is what really makes this place. It is beautiful! The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Went for first time for Bachelorette Party. Amazing service and the music was on point all night. We had perfect VIP seating even though we did end up at indoor pool due to bad weather. I cant wait to go again and take my hubby.

My wife and I spend our valentines night there. The view was beautiful good food and the India was really cool service was great. A little chilly but definitely a fun night.

This was the place to be about 6 years ago.. 2019 not so much! Ive had a membership every season since their doors opened and I think this will be my last year. Terrible crowd, the bartenders are average at best, the place is never busy and the door staff isnt consistent on member privileges. I dont think they realize they have competition.

Ive been to Sky Bar on five different occasions. Twice it was dead in the middle of the season. Once I was denied entry as a hotel guest at 9:58 because the bar doesnt open until 10:00 and forced to ride the elevator down, and the remaining two times its been a little mix of urban/older crowd. Unless the sixth times a charm, I will not be back.

Pretty weak sauce. The rooftop is super cool. The bar was sub prime. No wine. Very limited beer selection (Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Light). They dont even have the ingredients to make a Mojito. Margaritas are weak. If you enjoy a dozen kids jumping into the pool over and over and over again, and crappy drinks, head on up.

Today I had a great convo with Amanda Olds! She was attentive, prepared, informative & the best part was she didnt mind me rambling on about my life.Instead she took notes & listened profoundly to my do$ & dontt$. Cant wait to give this place the 5 star rating Amanda gave!!!!When in doubt,.. Amanda.... She makes it right.

Amazing fabulous entertainment great atmosphere.Sky bar my #1 favorite Ocean Front area. Good music and DJ Great drinks 🍸 apple 🍎 martini good server waitress and waiter very kind professional.Easy access parking lot good location.

Extremely bad service, we were not even there for two hours when my friend was asked to leave because she was “harassing the DJ” when she had not spoke to any DJ nor was she near a DJ booth. The issue was a personal matter that a woman that was in attendance has with her and my friend was not even aware she was there until she left along with myself and 7 other people. The bouncer was extremely rude and was borderline yelling. Very bad for business, I don’t see us returning if this is how Sky Bar treats their patrons.

It was a nice night when we got there. Waitresses are very friendly.

The perfect summer time evening cocktail bar. I always enjoy being able to see the entire Virginia Beach oceanfront lit up and still see the ocean with a cocktail in hand

Beautiful scene nice atmosphere... However while enjoying the jacuzzi someone decided to poop inside the jacuzzi and did not share it with the 1s left inside... 😒😞😖

That bartender with the beard is good... staff is nice but the DJ needs to turn down the music seriously... it was WAYYYY too f-ing demasiado loud a few nights ago

The roof top is nice but the atmosphere is mostly dead. I feel bad for anyone who pays a cover to get in.
