A Time To Dance

I was an absolute beginner when I started with this studio two years ago. The male and female instructors have always gladly helped me. They have taught me several styles of dance and courage for the weekly dance socials. Ive enjoyed the environment tremendously and continue to learn more advanced steps. I find the instructors highly experienced, patient and qualified for both beginners and advanced students. One less Ive always wanted to do that on my list. I can dance.

This is the place for a classy Saturday night. I have been to multiple ballroom dance venues in Hampton Roads and A Time to Dance is simply the best, for anyone from absolute beginners to competition level dancers. Excellent and friendly instructors for classes in all ballroom and Latin dances. Most importantly, dancers of all levels are gracious to dance with the less experienced, so everyone has a good time. Weekly social dances are the perfect way to spend Saturday night, and the quarterly showcase parties where students and instructors perform are quite a spectacle. I have been going for years now. The couple running this studio are a marvel. Truly a magical place.

Excellent instruction and social parties. Socials are fun, affordable, and a perfect opportunity to socialise and get your feet wet in ballroom and Latin as well as a great time for more experienced dancers. Classes give fantastic group instruction with attention to detail, and private lessons are a great experience for more individualised work. Best instructors for showcases, competitions, and choreography in the Hampton Roads area.

Such a great experience, large dance floor, friendly and knowledgeable instructors. Such a fun place to spend my Saturday night!
