What can I say - 5 STAR - absolutely. Devon, Janet, Mary, Laura, Alana, Kristen - top notch in everything that they do. Quality care and service that simply does not exist anymore, but when you arrive at the Beauty Tree Spa, you feel like you are the only one there. They make you feel at home, care for you as an individual and take their work seriously. These women are professionals. They care, they are meticulous and make you feel leaving with a renewed spirit and soul, not to mention looking and feeling great! If you are looking for a true spa experience that is more of a boutique feel, this is your place!

Had a beautiful early birthday massage today with my husband before he deploys. Mary did my massage and Laura did my husband’s. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I suffer from headaches and had one the day of, after the massage the pain was alleviated! We so enjoyed ourselves and can’t say how great the experience was overall! 5/5 stars, absolutely recommend and will return!

Beauty Tree is the best local holistic spa in Hampton roads!! They have so many great services to offer. Today I got their ionic foot detox and it was really cool to physically see the toxins come out. They offer massages, pedicures, waxing, and they have the cutest shop. It’s very relaxing. My next appointment is a wax! I cannot wait to come back!! Thank you Devin and Emmy for a relaxing spa day by the beach!!

This experience was incredible! We loved the ambiance, and I especially loved Mary. We live on the Outer Banks and get massages regularly, but this my husband set up for my birthday. We did 90 minute deep tissue and it was HEAVEN. We will be back and highly recommend this sweet spa~

I had a great facial at The Beauty Tree Spa today. I was welcomed as soon as I opened the door. The facial was fabulous and the skin care was superb. She gave great recommendations for skin care that I can do at home. Everyone was so friendly. I can not wait to go back again. They are offering a special on a great combo skin/pedicure that I hope I can do!

My daughter and I spent the day here together getting massages, manicures and pedicures before she left for college. Such a beautiful and relaxing experience that we will remember for years. They made us feel so special.

While on vacation in Virginia Beach we happened upon this place. The staff is all very friendly and helpful and the space has a beautifully cultivated atmosphere. I received a great massage from Mary. I wish I had scheduled a longer session as she utilized all the time fully and exceptionally.

What a wonderful place with an amazing team of employees. Gosh, I felt like I could sit with these ladies all day and laugh. I’m a mom of two toddlers and never spoil myself and unfortunately I had to leave them behind for work here but after three days of sobbing I decided to spoil myself some. I had some time to burn before my appointment so she was talking to me like I was her sister. It really helped to take my mind off missing my kids. She has so much knowledge about the things they do. She was teaching me about toxins in the body and ways of removing these toxins. She shared with me pictures of her family, I shared pictures of my family. It was just a really nice time.Janet is so pure and so kind. She’s the owner but so down to earth and really engaged in her business. She sat down right next to me and we were talking about all sorts of things under the moon along with another loyal client of hers. Conversation came so easy and you can really tell she treats everyone with respect. Just an amazing woman.Laura is my savior! Oh my gosh, where do I start! Laura did my massage and relieved the pain in my back that I was dealing with for days. I was a ball of all sorts of emotions during my massage. I don’t like to stay quiet during massages so I’m glad she could talk to me while doing an amazing job. She had me laughing. She brings such a positive energy to the room and again, I was able to subside my sadness of missing my kids and focus on positive energy from Laura.I absolutely will be going back to try the other services they offer and would 100% recommend anyone to come to the Beauty Tree Spa. You will not regret it and the pricing is not outrageous like other places.

The Beauty Tree was highly recommended by a friend and I had a gift card, so I scheduled a therapeutic massage with Mary. It was fantastic! Mary is sweet, kind, and knowledgeable - I told her my problem areas and she found a few more “spicy” spots. Walked in all tensed up, and walked out with my neck relaxed and shoulders back down where they’re supposed to be lol. Will definitely be back!

This little shop is a gem! First they gave my two little girls the best manicures! And to boot I got to play with the owners baby. I was in baby heaven. lolThen a few days later I was coming in for a therapeutic/deep tissue massage. Finishing off with a scalp massage. Now this….was true heaven. Mary helped my anxiety melt away with a warm pad to lay on, along with relaxing all the knots I had everywhere! She used just the right pressure and was tuned in with what my body needed. Every time we come to Virginia Beach this will be a must do. Definitely one of THE BEST massages I have ever had. thank you ladies!!!

This place is a hidden gem! My husband and I truly enjoyed our couples massage on our 10th anniversary. They staff was super friendly and accommodating…one of the massage therapist even stayed late to accommodate our last minute planning! The inside of the spa is a whole vibe! So beautiful and serene…I can’t say enough nice things about this place! We love it and will definitely return again soon!

I don’t leave reviews often but there’s no way I could resist leaving one for The Beauty Tree SpaI called them on a Monday two days prior to Valentine’s Day looking to book a couples massage. Unfortunately they were booked for the day BUT their amazing masseuses agreed to stay late so my boyfriend and I could come in!The entire staff is just by far the sweetest people. I had the pleasure of Mary being my masseuse and she was amazing! We will definitely be coming back.

Mary is an outstanding massage practitioner; she is very educated regarding the mechanics of the body and will ensure that the work done is specific to YOUR needs which is not always the case in this field. She also has a number of tools that can be used such as cupping, etc. Simply put, you will not find someone that puts more of their heart and soul into each massage. I highly recommend her services!

I hardly ever leave Google reviews, but today I received what may very well be the best massage Ive ever had from Mary. On top of that, I swear they hire the kindest, most genuine people to work here--from the moment I walked in until I left, I truly felt cared for and listened to in a way that I havent experienced at any other spa/massage parlor. This little place is truly magical, and I left feeling happier and more uplifted than Ive felt in a very long time. In addition to the massage, they also sell a variety of beauty/skincare products which the staff were very knowledgeable about!If youre looking for a truly personable experience tailored to your needs, this is the place to go! It was the perfect start to my Sunday. :)

Definitely very disappointed as we are from out of state. Walked in this establishment and was turned off. Hi, how can I help you? We would like to get our nails painted. Girl looks at us, and say you must have an appointment. I truly and when I say truly feel that it’s because we were of another race we were turned away. I’ll never patron here and I read vibes and felt them. Btw each one of their nail stations were empty. Miss thang at the desk, brown haired with glasses…you missed the fact I drove a rover and tip well! Sorry I can attest to the service comments here, but I say first impression is last.

What a great deep tissue massage! I needed a firmer massage and Matthew definitely delivered. The spa was small and quaint, staff was so nice and helpful. Went with friends and everyone had a great experience. I’ll be back again! I highly recommend.

Highly recommend this small, family owned business. They use nail polish that is high quality and without the horrible smell. They take the time to give you the perfect pedicure.The ladies that did our feet were fun and friendly. I am not one to get a pedicure often, but this place is worth it. You walk away feeling special.

I went yesterday and got a massage for the first time at this business and the staff was very courteous. The LMT was amazing!! Throughout the massage making sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was comfortable for me. She made sure to ask about certain bothersome areas due to injury as well. Had the best massage ever with Mary Mitchell. My husband had his first then I. It was fabulous and relaxing; just what we needed after a move to our new place. We have both been back several times and plan to make it a habit. My last visit featured a body scrub with an hour long massage to follow (two different services). I was relaxed and glowing after. Thanks to Mary Mitchell. We will be back.

This place is top notch. The staff is friendly, professional and courteous. Ive tried other places and now I have no need to do that as this is the place. Mary Mitchell in my opinion is the best masseuse this side of the Mississippi.

I enjoyed my visit here, especially the prenatal massage (it was fantastic!). The quality of the “luxe manicure” wasn’t that great for the price, however. Because I had a massage after and they were running late, I was told they would cut the hand massage short, even though I paid for the full package. Picture attached was taken right when I got home from the spa. The edges of most of my nails were missed/sloppy. Of note, I rarely get manicures (maybe once every year or two), so would expect a bit better quality when I do go.Also, if you are uncomfortable with other clients and employees not wearing masks or not wearing them appropriately(under nose), would wait to go here until vaccinations are up.*Update: the store owner reached out to me and let me know the first nail technician I was with was apprenticing. I would recommend their services and appreciate that they accommodated me to redo the manicure. Much better experience the second time.

Today I had the best mani-pedi ever! The tranquil atmosphere paired with exceptional quality products in the hands of the gifted technician Devin equates to a return visit everytime Im in Virginia beach!

I have my very first massage with Mary Mitchell this past weekend as I was suffering sciatica pain. She was so good at the massage had a very calming demeanor about herself. I was very impressed that I booked another massage with her for next week. I even told her this is the best massage Ive ever had. I cant wait to try the other services she offers. My husband and I came to Virginia Beach for our 20th anniversary. He contacted the spa and they made us a spa day appointment for the next day. Everyone was so nice! The place was really clean and comfortable. I had a facial, a massage and a cupping session. In addition to all of that, I also had a pedicure. The polish that was used on my toes has not chipped yet. Its been over a month since they did them. We met the owner and her daughter and they were genuinelycaring people. I would highly recommend their services. The pricing was great as well. For a full 8 hour spa day for 2 it was under $800. I would go every month if I could.

My girlfriend and I each had the opportunity to receive a 60 minute Swedish massage from Mary. Let me just say Mary is phenomenal. She pays such close attention to your comfort level and gives the most relaxing experience. While we waited, we hung out in the spa’s lounge area. It is so relaxing and honestly has such a great vibe. The owner Janet was so sweet and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this spa. You won’t find another place with such sweet, caring workers that care about your entire spa experience.

Absolutely Awesome!!From Florida, visiting family, three of us booked facials, with the other two never having a facial before. I have had quite a few and decided to try the Cupping facial. This facial was amazing!! I was so Relaxed and the overall experience was that this was, thee best treatment I have ever received. I have had some good facials, but this person and I didn’t catch her name was by far the best ever. The cupping at first was ok as I wasn’t sure what to expect, but as it went along, it was even better. I left relaxed, looked rejuvenated and all three of us really had a great experience. The owner, and her team were very friendly and her spa was super cute! Thank you for your hospitality and the great experience.

Had a woman in my Pilates class (from France) saying she didnt like going to get her nails done because she didnt know what was in the products they were using. I immediately told her about The Beauty Tree Spa! We live in Norfolk, but I told her it was worth the drive to the oceanfront!!

I got the massage & facial package and loved it! Mary did my hot stone massage and it was great. Lovely atmosphere in the massage room, heated table, nice soft music, overall very relaxing. Renae did my facial and it was great as well. Got all the gunk out, chatted, and gave me some great tips.

Mary was a miracle worker. She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable ever since walking in. I’ve had issues with my feet for a few weeks and couldn’t find the relief I needed until I came here. I did the amazing foot fixer massage and it worked wonders; I wasn’t walking on the sides of my feet out of there like I do at work! She also had some great tips for me to try to keep the foot pain away. I’ll definitely be back!

I had my first ever facial with Renae, it was absolutely wonderful! My skin is glowing! It was especially nice after having a very long emotional few months and sitting down to be treated so gently and having all the information given to me so I’m not wondering what’s going on my face! Definitely recommend seeing her, amazing!

On vacation and wanted a good massage. I ended up having the best massage by Kristen!I got the Professional Lymphatic Drainage-Full Body Massage.It felt amazing!Staff was friendly and welcoming.Thank you to Janet for being so friendly.

Can’t say enough good things about Devin who gave me the most pampering pedicure (with non-toxic, non smelly polish!) She was so attentive to details (even wore a headlamp with magnifier at 1 point!), not to mention she was super friendly and positive! Delightful way to spend an afternoon!

I has the pleasant experience of seeing Matthew Huttle a few weeks ago when we were at the beach for vacation. Working in dentistry I dont always treat my body well and with a 2 year old in on my hip daily as well I knew I needed some help. Matthew saw me for my first EVER massage and made the experience very welcoming and comfortable. He was very thorough and helped untangle knots decades in the making! I would highly recommend him and The Beauty Tree! I dont treat myself to self-care often and I feel like they truly went above and beyond!

I have to give a five star shout to LMT, Mary Mitchell at Beauty Tree Spa. You must see her If you need relief from knots and tightness in your neck and shoulder area she is the person to see! She gave me an excellent Jade Stone Therapeutic Massage just a few days ago. I came in with horrible neck pain and tension and knots in neck and upper shoulders. Her attentive care and expertise with a full 90 minute massage did wonders. I noticed a big difference when she was finished and as i went about my day I became even more aware of the huge relief. I noticed significant relief. I could more easily move my neck around. My husband, who rubs my neck and shoulders almost daily, even noticed the knots and tightness were gone. I have seen her several times and have always been very satisfied and pleased with every massage she has given me. You must see her! Im one sold out, happy customer.

Mary Mitchell worked her magic, AGAIN! Her sensitivity and attentiveness to my needs always sets me up for a great massage experience. I received a 90 minute Therapeutic Massage and left the spa a different person. The knots and muscular tension was alleviated. Mary pours her all into the work she does! Shes a real keeper!

My husband and I were in VA beach for our 1 year wedding anniversary and we desperately wanted to book some much needed massages. We came to Beauty Tree Spa for a bachelorette day and it was amazing! Another spa we originally signed up for ended up being rude and messed up our appointments. Beauty Tree was super accommodating and even opened early for us. They knew their stuff so well and were extremely kind. We all will be back again!

I won a gift certificate to The Beauty Tree Spa at a nonprofit silent auction fundraiser and I bought my husband a gift certificate for a massage for his birthday. This was my first time getting services there, despite knowing it existed and knowing the owner for several years. Devin enthusiastically greeted us by first name as we walked in. She was very friendly and welcoming. My husband was there for a deep tissue 60 min massage with Michael and I booked a luxe dazzle dry pedicure with Cassie. Michael and Cassie were also very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Cassie did a phenomenal job with my pedicure and my husband was very happy with his massage as well! As a huge bonus, I had fun chatting with Cassie and Devin throughout my service. They were funny and really easy to talk to. Everyone was very good about sanitizing and keeping things clean throughout the services. We will definitely be back!

I’m visiting VA Beach from NYC for Thanksgiving weekend and I stumbled upon The Beauty Tree Spa on a random solo walk. Although I was a walk-in and did not have an appointment, the entire staff took me in and were so wonderful and accommodating — even though they were admittedly understaffed for the holiday and totally booked up!I received a manicure, pedicure and ionic foot detox from Devin, who did a terrific and thorough job. She was so friendly and even suggested areas I should visit during my stay here.I then received a 30-minute neck and shoulder massage from Laura. I suffer from chronic neck pain, so I get a lot of massages, and this was hands down the best neck massage I have ever had. I’d visit weekly just for this massage if I could.All in all, a really great experience! Highly recommend for both locals and visitors!

I had a facial and it was completely personalized to me and it was incredible! One of the best facials Ive ever had for sure! My husband and I also recently had massages there as well. My husband and I went to the beauty tree spa recently. We had a really good time and were happy with the results. I truly appreciate that business is organic and Nature oriented, we loved the art pieces and beautiful plants. The atmosphere was nice, it felt cozy and welcoming. The professional I was working with, Laura, was great and sweet. It was easy to communicate my wishes to Her and she made my nails very happy and pretty (I will post some of the photos too). My husband’s nails and toenails, even without fun colours, looked very clean and sexy, and skin felt soft.Wonderful experience, I recommend The beauty tree spa to my fellow beautiful humans, be sure you’ll be well taken care of.I wish this business more grateful clients and much Prosperity 💗

I treated myself to a massage and manicure for my birthday, and Laura was amazing! It was a plus that they use all natural products and everyone is super sweet. My nails lasted 2 weeks + using plant based nail polish. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

I love the Beauty Tree Spa! I had been looking for a place to get both a pedicure and a facial where I knew the products would be clean and safe for my skin. Cassie did both my pedicure and facial and she was fantastic. She customized the facial completely for me and told me which ingredients to look for in products that would be best suited for my skin. She even looked up the products I was currently using to see if they were beneficial to me or not. After my facial, I went to a friends house and she kept saying how my skin was absolutely glowing! I highly recommend The Beauty Tree Spa for all your spa needs.

This was a lovely, chill place. My significant other and I had a couples massage, it was soo relaxing! We both like a firmer touch so we opted for therapeutic massages vs Swedish. I had Laura Ajtony and he had Matthew Huttle. He really needed some knots worked out which Matthew was great at. Laura found my problem spots and she used warm oil which was amazing! It was a lovely, relaxing experience!

Our experience here was amazing! From the first call asking a million questions Janet was so sweet and accommodating to all four of us! The massage I got from Melissa was the best one I have ever had and the girls agreed! Also was NOT cut short on time she accidentally went over!! I wish I lived here so I could come back! Cassie was an amazing esthetician and is very skilled in her field. As an esthetician and spa owner myself I enjoyed finding this hidden gem while visiting family. She treated my niece who is 3 with grace and patience and gave her the best manicure and pedicure!!! My skin looks and feels amazing and her massage was outstanding! Highly recommend this place. The owner Janet is extremely welcoming and what you expect when you enter into a spa- all your worries to melt for an hour and the beauty tree does a great job at just that. I had my first massage from here today with Miranda. Wonderful experience. She had me out in the zone very quickly which is a good indication that she felt what my body needed to relax completely. The owner is a delight, and the space is beautiful and inviting not at all like a traditional spa. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in and will be back for sure.

Mary Mitchell at the Beauty Tree Spa not only did miracles in relaxing my wife but gave us the ability to enjoy an evening together without her worrying about pain in her back and shoulders. I came here to get a facial. The esthetician was very knowledgable and helpful (she even made a point that she would only talk if I wanted to...I hate it when people talk too much and ruin the relaxing vibe). I felt great during and after! I met the owner and she is very friendly. Everyone there, including the other guests, were happy! All-in-all, it was a great experience and I will go back!

I couldnt be happier with the best massage Ive ever received.

Miranda is truly a gem and knows how to work with someone with chronic pain. After my 90 minute session, I felt like I was floating and both sides of my body felt in balance after a month of nerve pain. Janet was also very welcoming and sweet. I am very happy with my service and cant wait to schedule my next appointment!

Just had a 90 minute massage and my wife had a 60 minute massage right afterwards. Tremendous experience. The owner is passionate about making sure you are taken care of and that you feel well taken care of. Highly recommend to anyone vacationing in Virginia Beach or lives in the local area.

The ladies here are such fun girls. Lots of laughter and good memories happening at this spa. They want to make sure youre always happy with what you get and if theres a problem theyll want to fix it. Its all natural. They do nails, not acrylic though, acrylic isnt natural! But the nail polish options they have are awesome and actually nourish your nails while the polish is on. Love coming here!

What a wonderful experience! I booked an appt for my mom and I to have facials and massages. But, a cancelled flight was delaying my arrival into the area. The owner was incredibly understanding and accommodating, and was able to reschedule my appts. When we finally made it, they were all very friendly and provided exceptional service. My stress from dealing with a delayed flight melted away. Im very impressed with this spa!

This place is more than a spa; it is a little slice of heaven. The owner is so welcoming and the space is so well designed that I felt the positive energy as soon as I walked in. Miranda has a healing magical touch. Even though I live out of town and I pass several beaches on my way, I will return to Virginia Beach just so I can come to The Beauty Tree for Miranda to perform her magical massage with reflexology.

I recieved a lovely facial from one of the spas Master Estheticians, Cassie. She massaged my face, and even my shoulders and arms with the most deliciously smelling creams and oils. My face feels incredibly soft and clear! I was also treated to a complimentary session on their BEMER mat by the spas owner, Janet. I would absolutely recommend this spa to a friend!

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have received a couple of facials from Cassie. By far, the best I have ever had. I have left feeling relaxed and my skin feels/looks fantastic!

That heart of caring is spread throughout the spa, the staff, the services.Take a look at these women’s skin and you’ll sign up for whatever they have. They have the experience and the research to stand behind their services and products. But they aren’t stuck in any outdated rut— they are moving forward on the leading edge.I had no idea organic nail care was even possible. I’ve found my spot for self care where I feel good about what’s applied to my skin and nails.
