Massage Envy

Let me start off by saying the place was clean, the staff was nice. I booked a 60 min facial and added 3 additional add ones. The neck & decollete treatment, the exfoliating foot treatment and the exfoliating hand treatment. My appointment was at 12:30. After checking in, I was taken to the back in a more relaxing, calming sitting area for about 5 min.My tech Val (whom I had no isue with, she was nice and professional) came and took me to the room. She stated the services that I booked and then proceeded to tell me that she would not be able to do everything in my 60 min session (Issue #1). Im confused because I should not have been able to book the services offered if they couldnt be done. Val then stated she would make it work. She then tells me to undress and get on the table and under the sheets and leaves the room. Once she return to start, I checked my watch (b4 geeting on the table), it was now 12:50.The facial and all the add ons were good. I was expecting more, compared to other facials Ive had. Once she was done, she told me to get dressed and shell meet me out front. I got dressed feeling relaxed, made it to the front where she offered me products to use. I was about to buy 2 of the products that was totalling over $100, but I looked at the time and realized it was not even 1:30 yet, which would be 1 hour from the time of my appointment and me checking in. What in the world happened to my 60 minutes 😳 😐😡.As you can see in the picture by the time I paid and the receipt went to my email it was 1:30. This was more like a 15 minute facial and 5 min for each of my add ons. Ive never had a facial or massage done here b4. Where Ive gone, if its a 60 minutes service, by the time Im walking out, I wouldve been there a total of 1hr, 30min ( 6o min for services 10-15 min to check in and 10- 15 min to check out. My first and last ever using Message Envy!!!Oh and then to top it off, by the time I walked out to my car and drove home, my face felt sticky, so I had to wash whatever it was that she put on it off, which came off yellowish type stuff when I washed my face😐

I wasn’t sure about spending an hour of stretching, but boy am I glad I did. I left feeling great. Just what my body needs more of. If you are in doubt about a session of stretching, just try it. You won’t regret it. Just make sure you get Travis. He was fantastic!

Excellent facial with Bethani! She is very knowledgeable, easy going and a joy. The customized facial was amazing. She targeted my trouble spots and addressed all of my concerns. My skin is glowing! I’mgoing back to her again in 2 weeks!

This is the worst massage envy experience ever. In a week, they have had 2 different employees cancel massages 15 minutes before my massage. Now, if I wpuld have canceled the day of, you would have charged me. Then your horrible employee named Sarah needs to know when to call and cancel appointments. She is horrible and needs to be fired. People cannot just drop everything and change their schedules for an apppointment 2 hours later. This location needs new management or close it down all together. There are always excuses for everything. I asked for another team member or manager, and Sarah said noone else is there. 👀👀

I have bi-monthly stretch sessions with Mr. Travis. Every experience is satisfying and I always feel agile and strong once I stand to my feet after being stretched. Investing in my body at my age, 49, is essential to the range of motion of my legs and arms. I would suggest that everyone has a stretch experience at least once to see the outstanding affects of body movement. Thank you.

Travis stretch/massage experience was really great. Very professional and knowledgeable. I learned more about muscles and joints from this session than knew before.

My therapist was Nancy. She was amazing. My back, neck, and shoulders felt so good after my deep tissue massage. I cant wait to have my next massage with her next month.

I am always early; so when I wasnt there, he knew something was wrong. Sure enough with my schedule , I had forgotten! A reminder call solve the problem. It felt good to know that someone knows you and care!

I enjoyed my massage. Andra was professional and nice. Massage Envy Waldorf is welcoming and clean. I plan to schedule another appointment soon with Andra.

I would highly recommend this Massage Envy. Clean facility, friendly and professional staff. I would note that they don’t seem to rely on online booking the way other locations do but if you call, they’re quite accommodating. Recently had an absolutely phenomenal massage by George.

Please do NOT GET THE MEMBERSHIP. It’s hard to make an appointment and they expect you to keep paying for a service you can’t use. That was not explained to me before I signed up. I really hope this review can stop someone from making the same mistake I did. I’ve been reaching out about this problem and no one seems to be able to help. Now they’re staying I’ll have to use all of my massage within 60 days after I cancel. If I can’t book an appointment to use one massage in 60 days how am I supposed to use over 20 in 60 days. DON’T DO IT

I have had 2 stretch sessions with Kadesh at the Waldorf, Maryland location. Each time I’ve left feeling refreshed and energized. I recommend him to anyone looking for an invigorating stretch session.

I tried the total body stretch therapy and am a fan for sure. Kedesh was great and I left feeling more relaxed than I had all week! Already booked my next session.

I booked a hot stone massage after some effort to sync my schedule with the masseuse’s. The c day before I received a text that that massage was not available. I asked for a deep tissue massage. It was mediocre because the masseuse didn’t touch 50% of my body.

Ashley, the assistant general Manager, is fantastic. She is the sweetest, most personable, and one of the many welcoming faces in the place. I cant thank her enough for reviewing how the program and membership work regarding cost and points. I will certainly be back. Thanks ME!

It was not my first massage, but my first time at Massage Envy and it was a wonderful experience. Ashley checked me in and she was very nice & down to earth…easy to connect with. George was my therapist & gave a wonderful massage….very attentive to making sure my needs were met. I only wish I had booked a 90 minute session. Seriously considering a membership!

Everything about my visit was excellent!!! Ishiama is awesome and I so look forward to my facials with her. She explains what she is doing step by step and advises on the best way to take care of my skin between visits.

This was my first experience at massage envy. George Wilson was absolutely amazing in Waldorf. He was very professional and as my first male massage therapist exceeded every expectation. Best massage I’ve had and I’ve been getting massages the past 10 years.

Larynx did a great job with my facial. I am 65 years old and she handled my skin with care.

I always enjoy my sessions at this location but recently Im enjoying them even more. Val is exceptional. I am impressed with her knowledge and how she shares it, she is definitely an expert in this field. Following her recommendations has led to great results in my skin. Thank you Val.

Giving four stars instead of five because my 90 min massage was only 65-70 minutes. We started late because there wasn’t a form given to me, so we started at around 10:15. When she was done it was 11:23. Bethani was otherwise great and made me feel very relaxed.

Ishiama is a excellent technician. Love her gentle touch and soothing voice during my facials. She really is concerned about how to take care of your face, skin.

Carmen is the absolute best Waldorf has !!! I’ve been a member since it’s beginning when it was a franchise owned by Dianne. Now it is corporate ownership. I hope the fees and personalization don’t change drastically.The front staff use to call the“regulars “when there was an opening with their special therapist….that never happens anymore ( what a bummer).Deidre has been pulled from Waldorf to another location …smart and an angel here on earth. She has such a wonderful way with people . Always polished , professional, caring and could solve any problem. She will be truly missed.Kudos to the other Clinic that now has her, but send her back to Waldorf!

Travis took the time to listen to my concerns and needs. He did not follow a one-fits-all stretch routine. He adapted it to address my needs.

You should have more Therapist to do massages. I shouldn’t have to wait a month when I need someone in a couple of days need more therapist for massage

George was amazing. He provided exceptional service and care. He took care of my problem issues and I left feeling on cloud 9, until I tried to make another appointment with him and management instructed the front desk employee not too!! Even though George said let them know hell compliment me!

The facial that I received from Val was amazing! She gives you a massage throughout the facial and gives you an explanation of all the products. My skin looked so good and Facial was just incredibly relaxing.

Everyone is very professional. Had a massage. It’s always a little hard to get in there. But once I come in and see George, I usually have a wonderful massage. Just wish it This morning could be more often.

This facility has so much potential minus the initial customer service at the front desk by Victoria. On 23 February, I visited for a facial a treatment by Val (Verushica) which was phenomenal and I absolutely love her welcoming, peaceful and friendly personality!!!!! The overall establishment is well kept and very soothing but I couldnt get past Victorias borderline rude and unprofessional attitude, though shes pleasant just enough to deal with but that absolutely should not be the case. I wish I could visit a different location with Val being she made my experience at Massage Envy very memorable to the point I agreed to join the membership while I was receiving my facial. Upon signing up for the membership at checkout with Victoria, she quickly erased my peaceful and welcoming experience which I just had with Val only moments ago. Signing up for the membership felt as if I was bothering Victoria with my questions. Her responses were demeaning, rushed and lack all levels of care...its as as if she expected me to already know the details of the contract she was reviewing with me. Upon leaving and sharing my experience with my coworkers, I was encouraged to cancel the membership the very next day being its within the 3Day cancellation period. I returned to facility the next day (24 February) and my lack of luck....I encountered Victoria again whom processed the cancellation but was once again insulting with her response to my questions which was a simple request for a print out or an email of the proof of cancellation. She stated their was none but I could come around the desk and see for myself...which of course I did not bother to. She then asked if I had the vouchers she gave to me yesterday...how distasteful..but of course I had the vouchers being I handed her the entire packet initially when asked for the cancellation being I literally was there less than 24hrs ago...everything was still inside the pockets had she just opened it to verify. Once again the facility has lots of potential and the service the therapists provide is phenomenal but the front desk staff can do much better with their customer service. I will visit again in the future hoping for a better experience before completely dismissing this location all together. Thanks again Val for creating a truly peaceful experiences!!!

This was my first ever facial. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and welcoming and the place was beautiful and relaxing.I saw Van for todays appointment. She was amazing! You can tell shes knowledgeable and skilled. Not only my face, but my whole being felt amazing after Ive left there, such a great experience!Ive made an appointment for my 15 year old daughter for next month,...and one for mommy too!

Of the different locations and various providers that Ive experienced; Nanci, at the Waldorf location, is by far at the top. I will definitely book with her in the future!

The membership isnt worth the money. The appointments are canceled without any other options for service. Charged for 11 months with one massage appointment that was provided. Beware of the hidden service rules.

What a fantastic day! Started with an hour massage from Ashley. She is SO thoughtful and makes sure you are very comfortable. Then it was my first facial EVER! OMG in 65years Ive never had a facial before and it was absolutely amazing. I felt my face tingling which was normal but Ive never felt so great before. Take my advice ladies treat yourself to one you wont regret it!

First, Kelsey was awesome!!!! The best facial ever!!! I can’t wait for my next and final facial with Kelsey as a member. The Waldorf location is horrible with appointments!! I took the bate and did a yearly membership (NEVER AGAIN) It will be a year Feb 2023 and I have yet to receive a massage! No appointments available so I settle for other services that I don’t want BUT $75 dollars a month I have to pick something 🤷‍♀️ I picked massage envy for the massage……

The front desk staff is always pleasant. However, they are FAMOUS for cancelling last minute and NEVER having appointments available. I have a monthly membership and have rarely been able to get a massage once a month. This is despite scheduling appointments after sessions. Was recently scheduled for a facial (because my scheduled massage appointment was cancelled, and another massage wasnt available until JUNE), got a call the day of that this appointment was cancelled as well. My scheduled monthly payments are NEVER cancelled or late, whether I can get an appointment that month or not. Its poor business, especially for members. You have to pay, but you may or may not be able to get a massage that month. They are quick to remind you that the credits for the missed massages are there on your account. When youll be able to use them is the question. Ive had to go to other Massage Envy locations, which I havent had the same issues. The Waldorf location is closest to my house. I intend to CANCEL my membership, once I use up all of my stored credits from months I couldnt get massages.

I called to setup an appointment for a gift card birthday present. The young lady at the front desk could not handle incoming calls as well as front desk service. She repetitively put me on hold and hung up the phone. She was clearly overwhelmed but I’m sure they lose many potential customers this way. Taking down a name and number to give a call is not hard. Hands of stone brandy wine is the place to go.. much better service..

I love this location. I would like to shout out Val, Devinne ,and Ashley for great customer service. Devinne is awesome at what she does and delivers a great massage each and every time. It’s not to many massage therapist who can master a firm full body massage, but she’s the best. Val is so sweet, patient and knowledgeable about the services she offers for my skin. My skin always look so wonderful after she’s done. Throughout this pandemic wearing masks has done a number on my skin, but after one session with Val I’ve noticed a huge difference. My last appointment was my first time meeting and interacting with Ashley, but it was a great experience. Ashley is so pleasant and her great spirit shined through. My appointment was at the end of the day but she made me feel as if it was 8am. I can’t wait to witness her growth within the company.

My first time to have a massage at massage envy Waldorf Md. They are well organized. The ambiance of the place was perfect. Jared did a good job. I feel well relaxed. My shoulder, neck and back are well relaxed. All of my pain disappeared. I will definitely come back. Thank you, Massage Envy and to Jared.

Todays experience deserves less than the one star its receiving. This review has nothing to do with the massages I receive on a monthly as ny technician is great, but this does express my complete disatisfaction with the front desk service. I called this location around 5pm as a follow-up to the appointment they cancelled this past Saturday, 29 April 2023 as I was hoping to reschedule. In calling, I was immediately placed on hold and I sat on hold for 15 mins. I got tired of holding and ended the call then I called back only to be met with the most unprofessional and rudest experience Ive ever had from this franchise in my close to 15 years of membership at varying locations. I explained I sat on hold for 15 mins and the receptionist, who claims to be the lead, basically grunted or responded with an hmm hmm (no apology whatsoever) and so I asked to speak to the manager. She stated...theres no manager onsight right now, so then I asked for someone else because I didnt like her tone in the call. I guess she didnt like what I had to say so she hung up on me. I called back twice and they refused or ignored my call. I grabbed my purse and battled peak traffic and drove to the location to address the issue in person. What I thought was even more unprofessional behavior is when the receptionist stated the lead left and that she was now the lead. Ironically...same voice, same demonstrated behavior, definitely the same receptionist I spoke to in the call. I hope the manager reads this review as I plan to call again tomorrow but Im canceling my 15 year membership as I no longer feel valued as a customer. The face to customer experience, including telephonic customer experience, is critical of ensuring an overall great experience. Its clear that a front desk team member at this establishment doesnt care enough about their job in providing valued customer service.

Nancy was the very first person to massage me years ago.I gave her 5 stars in my mind back then.Yesterday, I wish numbers could go higher than a 5.So I am giving her a 5.She is confident, understanding, thoughtful.You are lucky she works there.Bob Hicks

I usually work with Ashley the front clerk and masseuse Brittany, (forgive my spelling). I sprained my ankle and was just at Massage Envy the day before and had another appt the very next day. My daughter needed to be picked up, I needed to get to the appointment, and I couldn’t drive. I tried calling and yes I was already frustrated because of money. Victoria said after I expressed frustration that “I was going to give you a courtesy cancellation but you gave me attitude so no.” I tried to call back and ask why didn’t she informed me of that option before as if it was a power move she withheld on purpose. Her customer service was very rude and of course she said she was one of the managers which made it worst. I was humiliated, already in pain, and was trying to figure out what to do. I never experienced this service here at this location before today. She needs to learn how to talk to others and to keep her attitude in check.

My facial with chemical peel was great with Val! She does a great job explaining the process and what to expect and my skin feels great.I am only giving this location 3 stars because they never have an massage appointments available and stated most of their massage staff doesn’t work past 3 or 5pm. I’m not sure how this works out as a business model where I’m confident majority of its clients all work during the week and expect to have evening appointments open and available up to closing time at 10pm.In addition, I was under the understanding the chemical peel was a free upgrade for the month since I was told at my appointment last month it was until the end of March only to find out after my service that wasn’t true. I also signed up as a member last month and have yet to receive my promotional coupon book.

I go to Brittany for the stretch service and it is amazing. Its like going to yoga but she does all the work. Also I have gotten facials and have been very pleased. The expensive products have been worth the money for me.

I saw a new therapist for the first time the other day named Karen. I saw this therapist because I needed to get in and my regular therapist was not available so I thought I would try someone new. This was the worst service I’ve ever received. First, she did not show up on time, and after I had to go to the front desk to ask where my therapist was there was no introduction once she finally came to get me. She didn’t ask me any questions. I felt that I had to make sure she had read my history to know what my expectations were. Aside from starting late, she also ended the session earlier than she was supposed to. What shocked me themost was the fact that She wore gloves for the massage. It was the worst feeling on my skin. Needless to say, it was the worst massage I have ever received from Massage Envy. I could not bring myself to confront this woman who I just met this day, So I informed the front desk of how the session went. I felt that I should have gotten, perhaps a free massage added to my account and or a reduction in cost The full hour I paid for is not what I got. It was at least 20 to 30 minutes short..

I enjoy having my facials done by Verushica. I feel wonderful after my sessions. Shes professional & knowledgeable .

Pursuant to the excellent reviews below, I called to book an appointment with Carmen. I was advised that she is completely booked out as far as her schedule goes. Normally, I wouldnt have a problem with this. However, the woman who answered the phone was RUDE and seemed like she hated her job. I asked when was Carmens next available massage appointment and she responded She dont have any. I then asked for the next available evening appointment for any therapist and she responded We dont have have any of those either. So, @NewCustomers - in addition to the subpar customer service, beware that you will not be able to get an appointment here anytime soon.

Devine was great just -the coupons are tricky and not clear for a busy world , My hope is that Massage Envy will clear up the is confusion with them. It was three people standing at the checkout desk confused thats not cool stating they hadnt plan on spending any money. Which aborted tips 🧐😉😕

I can not say enough about Karen. She has always been friendly, personable, and professional. I’ve been coming to Massage Envy for at least 5 years and Karen W is the only massage therapist that I’ve seen. She has always been on time and has never kept me waiting.

I always have a great massage experience with Joyce. She always asks me what do I need and works out those kinks with extra care. I try to schedule my appointments in advance and am quite successful. Joyce is a really good massage therapist and I thank God for her.

My massage therapist is Amanda. She is always so pleasant and gives the best massages especially after workouts. I have to book my appointments 3 months at a time so that I’m sure to get her. I really get the full effects from a 90 minute massage. I have been a member at the Waldorf location since 2014. The management staff and ladies at the front desk are always pleasant and a joy to work with.

I always have a great experience with my normal massage therapist, but todays experience (different therapist) was unfortunately, sub par. She was very pleasant and listened when I shared about pressure of the massage. The aspects that I thought need some attention are when she was placing the roller under my legs, it was done abruptly and without care or ease. She spent little time on the extremities. So much pressure on my back and neck, but barely touching my extremities. Just felt like rubbing lotion on them and then spent about 10 seconds on each hand and foot. Closing the door wasn’t done with ease. I am used to soft closures with the other therapists, creating that soothing environment. I’m not sure if she suffers from allergies or if she was sick, but the sniffling throughout the massage was a distraction. The front desk employee that greeted me and checked me in and out was very pleasant (young lady with dyed red hair). The little details that make a massage an above average experience, just weren’t there today.

The few times I was able to make an appointment the services were good. I have a membership with over 32 massages because I cant get an appointment or they cancel them, usually the day of. This is frustrating since I gift more then I use. Then they have the nerve to limit how many I can gift and they charge me but at the same time cant schedule for an appointment unless it 2 months out. This location is ridiculous, never has a solution to their lack of capability to get a massage. I have also had issues when I have tried to schedule appointments at other locations. Conveniently, they cant find my account, Ive had to go up to that location, force them to call the Waldorf location to use my one of my massages. Which is all out of my way b/c the Waldorf location is closer. I plan to cancel as soon as I figure out how I get rid of or use the 32 massages I have. The whole company is trash and I dont recommend anyone signing up for their membership, essentially at the Waldorf location.

I received a massage gift card from my awesome esthetician Roxanne Williams. I didnt know what to expect from Massage Envy, as it has been years since Ive had a good massage. I was pleasantly surprised from the time I walked in to the time I left. The front desk staff...awesome. My therapist Devinne Robinson was awesome!!! I didnt have to say a word, it was as if her hands could detect the places that needed extra attention and at the perfect pressure. A very personable young woman, very pleasant and was ready to make my experience a great one!Thanks Massage Envy Waldorf for a wonderful experience.

Ive been going to massage envy for over ten years in various locations. George has given me the MOST satisfying massages Ive ever experienced. They are both and professional and intimate, while also being cerebrally, and therapeutically stimulating. Many blessings to him and anyone who is fortunate enough to experience his table.

Ive been going to the Waldorf location for over a year now. Jeffrey is amazing!!! My progress since I started going regularly has been amazing. I love that he takes the time to explain all of his observations at the end of the visit and keeps me informed of my progress and what still needs to be worked on. The other staff at the Waldorf location are very pleasant and friendly. They all make it a very welcoming place to go to.

The service here is good IF you can book an appointment. They keep texting me to call to book a service then when I call all the massage appointment are booked for months out. Furthermore they send too many auto text about the same appointment plus a confirmation call! Less text guys please.UPDATE on 2/4/2022Went in for a service yesterday 2/3/2022. My facial was amazing. Roxanne always does an amazing job. However, the person that checked me in and out wasn’t rude but she was very unprofessional. It’s like I was bothering her just by being there. I understand that we all have bad days but remember when you are in the service industry like this, one must become an “actor” of sorts or find another position. I was polite and I shouldn’t have to experience that when I come to be pampered.

They are always professional, they communicate well and answer any questions you may have! Shout out to Carmen, she is awesome! Every time I visit she always asks are there any areas in particular that are of concern and once I give her my target areas, she focuses on them. I walk out feeling like new money!

I have nothing but good things to say about this Massage Envy. The front desk is always friendly and the massage therapist are fantastic. Warren has been the best hands down so far. I look forward to my future visits. My only negative is that there are never any appts available.

Ishiama is a consummate professional and provides excellent customer service each time! She is very knowledgeable concerning skin care and makes timely recommendations to improve and maintain healthy skin. I had a wonderful experience with Kayla on yesterday with my full body massage experience. I had not had one in a long time. Self care is sooo important. She was very attentive to the tighten muscles and very educational. Thank you so much Kayla for a wonderful experience.

Went in with some lower back pain from moving the day before. Could barely stand up straight. I left out feeling so much better. The tightness was gone and I was able to bend and stretch with no problems. Excellent session, George hit all my target areas and his pressure was amazing! As always the front desk staff was professional and polite.

My massage therapist Karen W. was great, however when it comes to appointments they’re horrible! I had a membership and every time I called for an appointment they were never able to give me one. I was always told they’re booked! This is ridiculous.

Per usual, my Massage Therapist, Jeff, was absolutely wonderful!!! He is absolutely amazing! After each session, he gives me a synopsis of my session with a breakdown of my problem areas. He also provides me with the areas that’s improved since my last session. I was able to go back to the gym feeling great and lifting with better form.The front desk staff is always professional and courteous. The truly enforce COVID protocols and guidelines, which I absolutely love.

I had a stretch and facial sessions. I would recommend both providers Kedesh-strech and Val for the facial.

My appt went well. Everyone was nice & professional. I was scheduled for a Bacial with Ishiama (Shima) and she did a wonderful job of making me feel relaxed with her knowledge. She told me what she would be doing, her findings, what to do & what not for the best upkeep until my next visit. Did I mention she has magical hands......

Before my appointment with Devinne, I heard many good things about her. I was very fortunate to get a last minute appointment with her and I’m glad that I did. Since becoming a mother, co-sleeping and breastfeeding for the last 2.5 years, my back has become very tight. Recently, I’ve recently been having cramps on the left side of my back at the top. I communicated all of this to her and she applied the necessary pressure to try to get the tension and knots out. I will definitely be back to see her in the future. In fact, I already called earlier today to make my next appointment with her. Thank you Devinne!

He is very knowledge of technique and anatomy, and he puts all of why his knows into customizes what is best for you, all the while taking into consideration your wishes and comfort levels. Great massage from Nancy and I feel good. One minor thing that I mentioned to her was if you have a client with an “unusual first name”; just call out out there last name when you come up to greet them and take them back for their massage. Again, I plan on coming back soon and thoroughly enjoyed my massage!

My esthetician, Ischiama, is wonderful! She provides expert service & pays close attention to my skin care needs. I’ve definitely seen improvements since coming to her for my facials. Amanda is a great therapist. She takes the time to discuss my needs and preferences with each appointment and always communicates her thoughts about how the session went. She also asks for feedback as well, which helps her make sure she is providing excellent service.

George W. is an excellent masseuse. This was my first time receiving a massage from him. I have sciatic pain and plantar fasciitis…the pressure applied was just right for those areas. I ensured my next appointment with him was scheduled prior to leaving the facility.

My aesthetician Ishema is excellent and a consummate professional. I always look forward to my sessions with her. She is so adept at her craft that I always schedule 90 minutes because 60 minutes just aren’t enough! The staff at this location are extremely friendly, courteous, professional and personable. It’s been a challenge to get a massage appointment at Massage Envy since I joined in 10 months ago … appointments scheduled months in advance were repeatedly cancelled. But my goodness, Nancy was worth the wait! She’s phenomenal!

The massage portion was professional, timely, and communicative; I worked with Warren. The customer experience portion afterwards needs some work. I’ve been a member for over a decade and simply put, the young lady I was working with didn’t convey in her tone and her patience (deep sighs as if she was being bothered to look up something) that she understood how important the customers are in providing a workspace for her. Her name escapes me, a young Caucasian woman. I had a pressing appt. so I didn’t make the time I normally would to address it. I will say typically, my customer experience is opposite what I experienced.

I truly found an esthetician that is professional, kind and so fun to be around. Shiama continues to wow me when I come see her. My skin and my spirit is always happy after leaving her. She gives such good advisement on skin care and I will forever be her client!!! Her bookings are hard to get but she’s worth the wait:).

Staff members are very friendly. I was quite disturbed when I showed up for my schelduled appt, to find they didnt have me schelduled. Especially after leaving work early. The manager chimed in and got me in the next day with the same massage therapist for 90 min session, so I was still quite pleased.

Ive always had great service at this location. The check-in/check-out process is seamless, especially as we continue to navigate life in a pandemic. My therapist, Warren, is the best. He often has to make adjustments to my session because of my problem areas, but I always walk out feeling renewed.

Every time I have a session with Ishiama, I never want it to end. Shes amazing. I appreciate her taking time to continually educate me on different skin care options and products when needed. Her customer service and quality of care is a Testament, since its difficult to schedule an appointment.

Ishiama is one of the best estheticians that Ive been to so far. Very informative, pleasant, and gentle. I have seen a big difference in my skin since Ive been coming to her regularly. She also offers great recommendations for products and tips to use at home which have also helped a lot.

At one time my neck and back was so in knots from stress I thought I would need at least two sessions to work it out, Kayla did it in one session taking care of the rest of the body too. I’ve been a member of Massage Envy for over 20 years and feel that it’s a great investment. Getting a massage monthly has been great for my mental & physical wellness. The Massage therapists caters to your every need & are very experienced in the job. I gave 4 stars because I’ve noticed that more of the long-term employees are leaving. I usually see therapists who’s been at ME for many years, but sadly many of them left. I hope they figure out something to keep the long-term employees from leaving because if services with new therapist isn’t good ME will risk losing good customers.

My masseuse Devinne does an excellent job. She continues to be the best masseuse I’ve had at Massage Envy. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and listens to my pain issues. And she focuses in on those areas. I HIGHLY recommend Devinne!

The front office is very friendly and professional, but My guy Jeff is wonderful, he is very professional and his communication skills are superb. He explains in details how my muscles are reacting and I’m so grateful for that. He does wonders for the aches and pains that my body go through and he knows what to do about it.

I’ve never had a problem making an appointment with my preferred Massage Therapist George W. He’s always professional. At the start of our sessions he always asks if there’s any areas that need special attention. I let him know my stress areas & he goes to work. Most sessions I’m so comfortable I fall asleep. I recommend Massage Envy’s Waldorf, MD location if you ever need a massage!

I asked for a relaxing massage and got the opposite. Carmen was very jerky with her movements. I did not feel relaxed at all afterwards and actually had soreness. Oddest massage I have ever had. I felt it was a waste of my time and one of my services.

Damn gas prices are HIGH why didn’t you inform me before my visit.I had to wait 2 1/2 months to get on the books and all they can do is apologize. This is my 3rd attempt In giving them another chance. No more - cancellation today.I truly believe they’ve taken on more customers than they have massage therapist in the Waldorf areaUnsatisfied and highly tensed customer!!

Don’t pouches the gift cards they are not as advertised. I was given my balance on several occasions. I walked in to the Spa she told my balance but 5 minutes later when she was riding up my purchase she said the card was expired!! The web sites says they don’t expire, the card itself has no expiration date, let’s not forget the register said there was still $49.00. It was $100.00 I got a facial and that was the balance. I wanted to add $51.00 to it and make it be $100.00 again so I could gift it to a friend. Ives tried to contact the company but they call back. The young lady in the Spa said they own the franchise and I’m out of luck!

Beautiful, clean location. My service provider was excellent. Only 4/5 because the front desk staff seemed bothered by my request to schedule future appointments for a different service as I was leaving. This location is VERY busy, and I understand they have the same questions all the time, but if I dont ask to schedule out, how will I know if I can?I hope there are plans to add a location in St. Marys County, MD soon!

Ive had my membership for almost 10 years and have nothing but praise for this location. I do have availability during the weekday so booking massages has not been super inconvenient for me (I make my next appointment as I am leaving) and I have utilized the couples room multiple times with my daughters.The masseurs have their own techniques and modalities that they use and part of the benefit is being able to find a few that you like so that you have more options if your preferred masseur is booked for your preferred time.If you do not like how your massage is going, you need to speak up and tell them that you are not comfortable. The hour massage includes 5 minutes consultation and undressing time with 5 minutes to get redressed so the actual hands on time is 50 minutes.They offer massage memberships as part of a wellness regime. I do look forward to my monthly sessions. I helps with my back pain and stress level.Got to run. Almost time for my 90 minute hot stone massage!

My visits to Massage Envy in Waldorf have always been more than I expect. It begins at the reception one receives at the front desk. The ladies are always professional and accomadating. Mrs. Carmen, even after a long hiatus, is still in tune with what my old broken up body needs. If I dont talk her ears off, she usually put me to sleep. Talking to her is also relaxing. So I get a two for one.!!! Can hardly wait until next time or when someone has to cancel, as her appointments fill up oh so fast!

My experience at Massage Envy was good. My appointment started on time. The staff was nice and the office was very clean. Staff followed protocol for covid. The massage was very relaxing. I will definitely be returning.

Massage therapist George is AMAZING! I have gone to other locations and this location is by far the best. The front desk staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you are taken care of and it is always clean. Since COVID you will see the staff constantly and consistently cleaning. Love it.

02/11/19 I am a member and I am having issues when I want to transfer or gift a service. The first time I had to place a total of 7 calls back and forth between the Waldorf and Bowie locations.Today, I called the Bowie location to schedule the service. I called the Waldorf location and spoke with Kayla to handle the transfer. I was told upon providing the phone number of the person I am gifting the massage to has 5 different profiles and that she would need to call the location to ensure that the service was added to the correct profile. I scheduled my service as well. Upon ending the call, Kayla informed me that I need to call Bowie myself to ensure the service was placed on the correct profile. I explained that I gave you the correct number and I do not have access to your system so how can i ensure the correct profile is used. I asked for a manager, and was left on hold and the call was hung up. I called back and was told that there was no manager available at this time. This is completely ridiculous to have to be inconvenienced and place more than 2 calls to transfer a service. Then to be hung up on as well. UNACCEPTABLE. My advice for management, Train your people to understanding, articulate and follow a procedure.

Last night I had a massage with Demnick it was good. However, this late appointment mess I did not care for at 8 pm at night! Since my regular person has left, Jeff! it’s hard to book appointments with Message Envey. Parking lot was empty very scary and dark a little dangerous these days at night! I’m also a little disappointed I love Warren as well and he’s also hard to book with. I’m a long time customer since they first opened and it’s hard to get an appointment now with anyone you like. I’m really trying to find a new massage place to attend in the area. I really hate to leave after all these years but I can’t do night appointments. And keep trying different folks to get a good massage person for my money I’m spending monthly.

I wanted to start my review PRIOR to my massage on because the front desk customer service that I just received was not a helpful one when you are preparing for a massage. I walked in & there were 3 young ladies at the front. One asked can they help me, one asked my name and one told me to head to the tranquility room. Now for a first time customer there are a few things to note.(1) I was not assured that I was checked in. (2) I was not properly created a better greeting Hello, how are you, may we/I help you. (3) to be directed to the Tranquility room I began walking but had to ask *Where is the tranquility room? The response was oh its around the corner. (4) never offered a sip of water or a cup for that matter to use the water fountain that is sitting directly outside of the tranquility room (5) as I sit here at 12:05 for my 12pm appointment and I was asked to complete a survey of the type of massage on an iPad, I informed the young lady that my appointment was at 12pm, I was told that my technician is not ready for me yet. These things have lowered my energy and that probably will not help with my massage.I hope to follow up with a better review.

Jarrett was great! Hes very professional in his job & a great conversationist. I will request Jarrett again on my next visit.

Nancy needs additional practice with ensuring a warm rapport with clients..and provide a full 50 minutes of a massage with consideration for 2x 5 min undressing and dressing and not follow on the hour scheduling, especially when service is started late because of companys fault..

Carmen is professional 👏 attentive. Great 👍 very skillful with her techniques. Excellent overall treatment and experience each time I visit. My rating of her is A++.

Jeffry is a very dedicated massage therapist. He listens to his clients and shares all findings with them. He has a gentle manner but modifies his massage pressure according to clients preference. I have been his client for almost 4 years and I always feel better after our sessions.

My therapist did not concentrate on the three areas I mentioned. Back, neck, and feet. She only did two. The pressure wasnt to my liking. When I walked into the front area to check out, she and the staff about 5 ladies were laughing and talking about me. They could have waited for me to leave.As a member, I will never have service at the Waldorf, MD massage envy.

Devinne is an extremely skilled massage therapist. She uses the perfect amount of pressure all over the body and always communicates before she gets started so she’s fully aware of your concerns and areas that may need special attention. Her demeanor is very calming yet upbeat and fun which results in an overall amazing experience at the spa!

Kayla is very professional. I am diagnosed with PTSD and I was having anxiety feelings. She gave me a pillow and spoke to me in a way where I began to get comfortable which made my massage a great experience.The young ladies greeting you as you came in the door were awesome made me feel like a star ⭐️

Recently I had a facial with Shema. It was amazing and therapeutic!!Shes very professional and ensures that her client is comfortable throughout the procedure. Very pleased!!ts been a year since I had a message due the pandemic impact and safety concerns. I have been a member years. Carmen is my therapist and did a great job ofrelaxing my tense muscles and soreness due to fibromyalgia. She was very attentive to my concerns. The front desk assistant Patricia, was also very helpful in scheduling my appts. Note to Mgmt: the bolts that supports the legs during the message, lacked sufficient cushion causing my feet to be quite uncomfortable while face down and needs to be replaced. I hope this matter will be addressed.
