This is the most horrible experience I’ve ever had. I went to Golden lounge last week to have my nails done only to have broken out in the worst rash. I usually do not get my nails done here, but had to get them done last minute. I reached out to the manager and they tried to avoid talking to me for a whole week. They even tried to say that they don’t understand how my cuticles broke out from them doing my nails. One of the “managers” Even insinuated that they were not the cause of my cuticles breaking out. I went to my primary doctor, and she said that it was due to them using dirty tools and contaminated products. Then they refused to refund me for the service. I will be contacting an attorney to sue them! Very unprofessional!!! DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE.!
Do not go see Alex if you visit The Golden Lounge Nails & Spa. She is not friendly and she cut my nails to short. She asked me how long I wanted my nails, but before I can fully approve the length, she cut one of my nails. I have long fingers, so what do I look like with short nails? Smh. 🙄 Alex would not accommodate by taking that one nail off and making sure that all 10 nails were my desired length. This was my first experience here and I will not be back. This place only focuses on getting money and not building positive relationships with their clients. I am in the people business and this atmosphere is NOT for me.
This was the WORST experience I’ve EVER experienced. For such a BEAUTIFUL SALON. I asked for rhinestone design and LEO the ignorant nail tech. Started complaining, walking away, asked someone else to do my nails , repeating the price ( sir I have $200) plus a $ 40 tip. for my nails , walking around the salon talking his language to the other technicians and come back eating Doritos, lastly it look like he took the nails out the box , put them on my nails . Threw glitter on them and sent me out. There no shape. Yes because he would not do the rhinestone I settled for glitter. A hot mess. They’re supposed to be stiletto shape. but you have to see in person how Lumpy they’re. Looks like the work of a Kindergarten . I’m so tired catering to people that don’t appreciate nor respect us. I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS SALON AGAIN.
I really wanted to give this place five stars, but I had to deduct stars because my pedicure technician (Matthew) completely disregarded my request for regular polish for my toes. Every time I asked a question about a service, he would ignore me and start talking about something else. I even asked him before he started painting my toes if the color I picked was regular polish because I wanted regular polish, not gel, since I like to change my toe color often. He said yes, so I continued talking to my husband in the next chair. I only realized that we were charged an extra $25 for gel after doing the math when my husband told me the price he paid for our services. I really wanted to like this establishment because I wanted to come back for some of the additional services they offer, but if their employees will simply do whatever they want despite your wishes, I dont know if I want to give them another chance.If you choose to visit this establishment, I suggest you really pay close attention to the technicians and make sure they do what you ask, even if it takes away from your relaxation experience.*My husband got the mens remarkable pedicure ($60) and he enjoyed his technician with no issues. I got a basic pedicure (which was supposed to be $35, but I was charged an extra $25) and also got ombre nails ($75) I had no issues with this technician. The other two technicians are the only reasons Im still giving 3 stars.
This was not a pleasant experience for me. I paid $60 in total for a pedicure, removal of acrylic on big toes and regular polish on all of my toes. My nail tech removes the polish from my toes( drill file) he cuts/ burns me multiple times but I proceeded.He asks me if I wanted the acrylic on my big toes fully removed or a fill. I told him I wanted it fully removed since I’m paying full price for that. He drills the acrylic down and quickly puts a new tip on the nail before I could say anything. I’m paying full price for a pedicure and he just put lotion on my legs, scrubbed and quickly cut my cuticles. When cutting my cuticles he cut my skin around my big toe, I continued to say ouch and move my foot away. He paused and then continued with a smirk on his face. My friend as beside me and saw everything. It is the next day and my toes are sore. He cut some of my toenails too short and narrow. I’m not happy with my service and will not be returning.
I wasnt even going to write a review because I thought it was pointless, but upon reading the other reviews, I had to. DONT, STOP, RUN...I may not have had a bad experience with my pedicure or nails, but they ripped me off. They set prices how they want or feel that particular day. The manager tells them what to charge. Well, my nail tech told me $65, when I got to the register, I had a $25 dollar gift card and the manager said $40 was due, but charged my card $45. I even gave my nail tech a tip and I tip well. I called to complain and I asked for the manager, they said he was not there. I told her she was lying because I just left. She covered for him and said it was an honest mistake. No, no it wasnt, one thing I do know is they will get the money right. I let it be known, they lost a good customer.
Kay Kay was phenomenal! I took my 70 year old dad for his very first pedicure, and she took such good care of him. He is diabetic and requires handicap access. She made sure he had every accommodation needed. She did such a great job.

Avoid the hassle if you can. They’ll just take your money even if you’re unsatisfied and refuse to fix their mistake. I visited this salon after coming across one of their nail techs work on IG. I called prior to going to the salon to see if the gentleman was available but he wasn’t. I let the young lady on the phone know that I’d never visited the salon before but was looking for a tech really skilled with nail art. She assured me that everyone in the shop was pretty skilled in that area and that she was sure someone could produce the work I was looking for. When I arrived I was sure to let the young lady at the desk know about the conversation I’d had on the phone prior and that I was looking for a tech good with nail art. Now mind you I went in for a soak off and full set because I’ve had this current set on for some time. Henry , whom is the tech I was assigned , asked me why did I wanted my nails soaked off and advised me that they still looked good and to only get a fill. I showed Henry an inspiration picture to give Henry an idea of what type of design I wanted. Well what they failed to mention was Henry doesn’t know how to do any nail art and only knew how to use foil. I was charged $100 as if I had 10 nail designs and walked out the salon with foil and chrome polish. I had a date that evening so had no time to wait for Henry to fix my nails as I was already behind from trying to coach Henry on how to style my hands.When I returned the very next day and explained the situation they looked at me like I was crazy when i asked for my nails to be fixed. Fast forward a total of 5 days after my fill in, my foil had peeled off some nails , I’ve lost stones and only after 5 days my acrylic had grown out and I am In need of a fill in already. I called AGAIN to explain what was happening, the young lady took my name and number and said that somebody would reach out for me to send pictures and we would go from there. They didn’t even have enough respect for me as a customer to even reach out for images to see how my nails looked. Overall I was taken advantage of and it’s unacceptable
I went to this salon a few months ago to get a basic gel pedicure, the guy doing my feet was so rough I had to keep he is hurting me! He dug so deep into the cuticles on my big toe it started to burn. We all know if you keep digging its going to leave an open wound. The next day my big toe was in so much pain I could hardly walk. I ended up with an infection in my big toe and had to spend money to go to a podiatrist to have them prescribe me medicine for an infection. Ive never had any prior foot issues before coming to this salon.
This place was terrible. I walked in and sat down. No one came out to greet me. Several employees walked by and never spoke to me. A lady walked in with her child. a man mysterious man appeared from behind a very large plant which i never realize anyone was back there behind that very large plant. The lady was taken to the back while the child sat in lobby area. Meanwhile I am still sitting and no one has greeted me yet. A lady finally greeted me. I stated that I had been sitting for 20 mins and no one acknowledged me not even the guy sitting behind the very large plant. The guy said he did. How can he say that when he never got up from behind the big plant. He made me mad cause he lied about acknowledging me. I told them with all these cameras in here you can go back and see that he is lying. They can clearly see he never got up and spoke to me. I believe the only reason why I was acknowledged was because someone heard me on my cell phone calling other nail salons for their availability. Unfortunately other nail places had a wait. So I was waited on and escorted to the back to get a full set. A nice man named Chris did my nails while all eyes were on me. I informed Chris that a friend/coworker suggested this place and I will NEVER come back. The chemical smell is extremely strong too. I have never been in a nail salon where the chemical smell was so strong it turned my stomach. This was my very 1st time at the Golden Lounge and my last. Now I understand why they only have 3 stars.
Ive been going to The Golden Lounge for several months. Henry did the last set but, I always go to someone different. I have noticed that the service is usually rushed as they like to get you in and out. This time I decided to get a fresh set and upon removal at the shop by Venni we discovered that I had developed a fungus on five of my nails all four fingers on the right hand on one on the left hand. It was on me to request treatment of the fungus, I feel like the shop should have recommended the treatment and provided it for free. Not only was I charged for the treatment but also the removal of the nails. Im not sure if the fungus developed due to the quality of their acrylic or the skill of their nail tech but I urge you ladies to pay attention to how they are doing your nails and what they are using on you. It is evident they do not care about the well being of their customers and are just about making money. Ambiance and a big fancy shop does not always mean they are better or know what they are doing.
I’ve been to this shop a few times and I always leave unsatisfied. It’s over priced for the quality of work being done. My last visit was my last visit. The little bit of work I got done was $195, I got a pedicure and full set with white tips. Never again. USA Nails has my business from here on out.
Vincent was very patient and asked lots of questions to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted, even though I didn’t initially know exactly what I wanted. He and Vinny took the time to explain the differences between dip and gel and their pros and cons with no pressure. The main reason I almost did not give 5 stars is because some of the techs can be pushy about upgrade and add-on services. But I really like this place and my puppy is over here adoring my nails too!
Me and my sister went there this past weekend and the service was rushed and two days later my sister’s polish began to chip. They also offered other customers drinks and snacks, but did not offer anything to me or my sister while we were there.
Chipped gel nails already. I got my nails done yesterday. Gel FILL-IN was $50. Waste of money & bad job.... my nails are literally a day old.Update: day 7 are photos 2 & 3. I went back the day after the first photo to get the one nail fixed which chipped again. Not sure if the products are cheap or because he rushed/ no base coat on my gel. Just save yourself time and money and don’t here lol.
Went here for a facial. Need one its a must! Go on Monday or schedule an appointment. The woman is amazing! My new go to spot for facials!
My Favorite Nail Salon, Tracy and her Husband are the best with designs and Victoria is the best with waxing! Whoever you go to you will be happy with Golden Lounge! I have been coming for 10years +
For all my acrylic girls DO NOTTTTT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY !!! I have been getting my nails done for over 10years and have never had such a terrible experience and nail set. By looking at the reviews it Seems like HENRYYY doesn’t give AF about how your nails will turn out!! anyone knows when you get a fill in the acrylic is suppose to go over the entire nail, well I noticed he only put it at the bottom cause the top half of my nail to be fragile.. leading it to break less than 24hrs. And no I didn’t say anything at the time because he is supposed to be the “professional” so I called the next morning to ask to get it fixed and the lady booked me an appt with him.. he was SO rude and acted like he did not want to fix and and said it was my fault my nail broke.. mind you I did not do hardly anything the rest of that day to cause my nail to break and even if I did my nails shouldn’t be that fragile to break my nails typically will last up to 3 weeks without ANY breaking but then I come here and a nail breaks less than 10 hrs ??? Make it make sense!!on top of that I originally wanted a French manicure but that didn’t happen because you could literally see my real nail growth thru the acrylic.. which has never happen to me before!!!! So then I felt like I had to settle for some design he came up with from the spot!! Just all and all terrible experience fROM HENRY !! Do not waste your time and money!!!!!!!
TERRIBLE. Do Not Go There. Without going into much details, I asked for my toenails and fingernails to be the same color, I got two different colors. I asked multiple times for a different nail tech because the one who originally helped me had an attitude and at one point rolled her eyes at me in front of her manager, the manager told me that I would have to pay if I didnt want to deal with the same tech. I guess if you want to be disrespected and have them roll their eyes at you for asking them to correct their mistakes, that is your place to go. I have to say though that Chris, one of the nail techs was the one who really helped me and was really nice to me.
I’ve been going to this salon for 5 years. Today I had the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. They are already pricey but when they wanted to charge $20 per nail for a design, I lost it. I kindly got up but the manager felt the need to be rude so guess someone else will be getting the $300+ dollars I spend per month on my services. I highly suggest you go somewhere else to get your nails done. There are plenty places in the nail game. Better designs and certainly better prices. I guess they don’t give a rats behind about repeat customers! Do better, go somewhere else.
I was in the area of Waldorf first nail salon closed. Then tried this one very great service. I got my nails done first by GiGi. Then made an appointment for a deep tissue massage. I was nervous being my first time. Vinny was great with massages. This was a birthday treat to myself. I be getting more services next month.
Miss the drink and other special treatments I use to get. Terrible pedicure today no massage and no callus removal on pedicure and no 5 minute massage. Fill was too much money and he hurt me. They were not friendly like before. So disappointed do not recommend.
Serviced by someone I asked not to be serviced by because of their subpar work! Results were the same! As much as I dislike aggressive behavior, my request will be honored or no longer patronize this business...

Kathy did my pedicure yesterday and she did an amazing job with every step of doing the pedicure. She took her time and gave an amazing foot/ leg massage and it was so relaxing. My polish looks super good and Im very happy with my experience. Will be coming back to this place again.
Today is Monday July 24, 2023 and I went to Golden nail and spa Saturday, July 22, 2023. I was appaud by the unprofessional service I received from my nail tech. Her name is Tiffany. She totally disregarded how I wanted my nails and shaped and powdered them when I was not happy about the work and refused to pay they threaten to call the police. They then overcharged me by over $90.AVOID TIFFANY! I honestly dont have a problem with my pedicure so thank you to the person who did them. When I first walked in the manager seemed to ask 2 of the male nail techs to take me and they refused. Not sure if its because I was a black man and by the time they found somebody to take me (it wasnt busy) the service was terrible and that person who begrudgingly did my nails was TIFFANY.
This is my favorite nail salon in the Waldorf area! I have tried a few other places in the area and they just don’t compare to Golden. They are very professional and the wait is not long even without an appointment. Lizzie & Susan give the best pedicures! I’m very picky when it comes to cleanliness...they use liners for the pedicure bowls and insure that all tools have been sanitized.I usually only get pedicures, but I decided to get my nails done this past visit. I cannot remember the tech’s name but he did an awesome job and I really like my nails.
On Tuesday, March 21, 2023 my wife and I went to get our manicure and pedicures to prepare for our trip out of town the next day. As soon as we walked in, the tecnician who helped my wife was very irritable, short and unwelcoming as if we had done something personal to her, she wouldnt even look my way. We had never met her, however, it was late and we needed the work done. As she began my wifes pedicure, she seemed to rush as if she wanted to get us out of there, she didnt even offer the drinks or fruit that usually come with the service. My wife had to ask for it, which isnt normal. The lady who assisted me was kind, for awhile, and she to became short, quiet and disinterested. The next day, after just a few hours of being at our destination in another country, my wife realized that both her finger nails and toe nails paint was chipping terribly. We attempted to call the salon, however, the service in that country would not let us call. By the Thursday of that week most of her nails needed to be repainted and she was so distraught as she had to redo them herself, they were unsightly, and that service is not cheap. Fast forward to the next week, she calls a technician who is her long time eyebrow designer, and also owner, and he asks her why is he telling her this today when it happened last week. She reiterated that she was out of the country, however she was not trying to get her money back or anything, just wanted to let him know she was disappointed in the service and that was unacceptable by the tech who did her nails. He was still very short and seemingly unconcerned. Needless to say, neither of us will be back and its unfortunate for their business because we are very loyal, however, we will find new nail techs. They are taking money out of their own business, when all my wife wanted was to get assurances that that wouldnt happen again. Of course I will not recommend and the other reviews seem to back that up.

Absolutely awful experience. I used to love going to this place and over the last 6 months the service and professionalism has declined. Last month I went in with a fairly simple design and was told (after they started) that they couldn’t do the design unless I had made an appointment. Fair enough. I can understand that. I call today and ask to make an appointment and reception tells me that it’s not necessary and I explain I’m going a fill with a design for acrylic and am then advised that appointments aren’t necessary. I arrive and show the picture of what I’m wanting and the nail technician becomes annoyed and aggressive telling me he has to do a complete new fill and that he doesn’t know if he has the peach/white acrylic fill and then continues to tell me it has to be a new fill. At this point the energy is completely off and I’m not going to waste time or money with an establishment that allows their nail technician to argue with me while I’m walking out the door about his ability to do what they said they can do. I’m all about being convenient and being able to substitute different colors but the tone and disrespect was on an entirely different level.Luckily I went to another establishment down the street and they did everything perfectly and completely exceeded my expectations atIt’s disappointing because I loved going to Golden Nail Lounge and after today I won’t be going back nor will I be referring business to them anymore.
Let me just say the pedicure was wonderful. Kathy did an amazing job. When it came time removal of my acrylic nails and then manicure , TERRIBLE. The tech came talked me into getting the dipping powder which was good , okay. I specifically said manicure. She then proceeds to start dipping my nails. I tell her to stop because i asked for a manicure. She says i can do the manicure after the powder . “Huh???!!!!” I said no that’s not how we’re going to do this. This doesn’t make sense. She gets mad (from my perspective ) and never returns. I was then asked to move to another tech. He starts to complete the manicure. He does not clean the nails he does not follow the usual steps. These were different steps that i was not use to and clearly not the right steps. I told the manager. Nothing was done i just left and will not return. But thank you KATHY for the wonderful pedicure. Oh did i mention the tech tapped my hands like i was a child to get my attention. I thought i was being punked.
Leo is the best nail tech. He is funny and he makes sure you enjoy your visit.
Ive been going to The Golden Lounge Nails Salon & Spa for many years, so Im extremely disappointed that I have to write this review. I went in last Tuesday, March 21st for a basic manicure/pedicure & the nail tech rushed throughout both. She wasnt wearing a name tag, so I didnt catch her name. Since it was after 5pm, and I was due to travel the next morning, I didnt make a fuss. The tech left immediately after doing my nails, so its possible she had somewhere to be. Unfortunately, my finger nail polish began to peel off terribly the very next day, Wednesday, March 22nd. I wasnt able to call or go in person to have it corrected, because I was going out of the country that morning. My biggest issue isnt that all of the polish was nearly off less than 24hrs later... I didnt appreciate the response of the owner, Nino. I explained that I just returned from out of the country & wanted to make him aware of the situation. He was extremely defensive and dismissive as I attempted to explain. Once I said I didn’t call requesting a refund or another manicure. I simply wanted to share my experience with you. Ive been coming here for years, and this is the first time this has happened, so I wanted to make you aware. That is it. Then he calmed a bit and took the time to actually listen. He then said Well, sorry about that. You need to tell the front desk right away the next time, if you feel theyre rushing. This wouldve been a totally different experience if he led with I apologize for your experience. Please let the front desk know the next time you feel rushed, so we can address it immediately. That wouldve been much better than constantly talking over me and saying things like Why are you calling here now? If you say youve been coming here for years. Who is your tech?etc... The latest reviews are showing an unfortunate trend.
I arrived early to my appointment and was not seen until after 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. My nail tech seemed very rushed and flustered due to being overbooked. He even went on a quick lunch break during my appointment leaving me sitting there in the chair with unfinished nails for over 15 minutes. The design for my nails did not come out accurate to the reference photo I showed him and he told me that the design would’ve looked better if I had gotten my nails longer. Overall the service was piss poor the technician seemed to be very rushed which reflected in the quality of my nails and had another client waiting over an hour to be seen because he started late on my nails. I had high expectations of this place due to hearing such great reviews but my experience fell completely short of what I’ve been told I would not come back to this establishment.
My husband and I usually go to get a couples massage monthly. We usually have a great experience. However today was not great at all for me. The guy who did my massage told me in the middle of the massage that he will be back in a second which turned into about 5-10 minutes that I was just lying on the massage table. He left me with a hot towel on my back which turned cold. I had 2 ask the other massage therapist Sherrell to remove the towel as she was massaging my husband. When he finally did return, he began to tell me that I need to work out and that Im hurting from the stretch because I need to work out. How insulting, if I decide to go back, Im not sure that I will do a massage anymore unless I request Sherrell. She always does 5 star massages. She is excellent. That other guy was very unprofessional and because he left in the middle of the massage, I was shorted of the time that I paid for. We always get 60 minutes for our couples massage.
After suffering for a week from a sore neck and back, I finally broke down and scheduled a massage. I was not disappointed! I had one of the best massage experiences if my life! Elvin is one of the best massage therapists I have ever encountered. A little over an hour later, I left the establishment pain free. The rate was reasonable and the atmosphere very clean and comfortable. But hands down, my massage therapist was the best part of the experience- kind, professional, and extremely talented. Thank you so much Elvin.
I really like the place, that lay out and atmosphere makes you feel like your at a spa not just a bail salon. Its a spa you can bring your husband or boyfriend and they will feel comfortable. The reason I gave it three stars is because I spoke with Stella My nail tech about coming 2 days later and she said that was fine. But when I called on the second day and said I was on my way the people at the front desk the ladys name was Mommy she said Stella was booked up and I couldnt come. I didnt like that because if my nail tech tell me that I can come then Im expecting to be there at the time I asked for. That bad communication mix up made me not want to go back there. My first experience was a walk-in no appointment and Stella was my nails tech. So I decided to make an appointment and it didnt go well.
I went there today for the first time since the pandemic. I had high expectations that I would embrace this experience since I dont regularly get my nails done. I wanted to start doing that. My nail tech rushed through the pedicure to the point of cutting my toe and slipping the drill and hitting my finger when removing the gel polish. The manicure was such that I didnt even know I was getting a manicure. Apparently that process has changed because I wasnt even asked to wash my hands.. The gel nail polish looks wavy on my nails. He didnt talk to me until it was time to pay. Looks like prices went up to pay for the renovated space. Looks great, but not very personal. Maybe if I go again, I will get a tech worthy of the $85.
My original plan was to get a full set and pedi but I ended up changing my mind and called ahead to change to just a pedicure. Stella had theeee worst attitude ever when I arrived and didn’t even speak. She didn’t put anything in my water and barely scrubbed my feet. Her entire demeanor was off. Never again.
I dont have a usual salon and decided to book an appointment here for my wedding full set/pedi based on reviews from friends. I will never go here again. She was really rough with both my hands and feet, I had to ask her to stop filing my skin several times. 4-5 days following the service, my toes were swollen and hurt to touch so I knew something was wrong. I removed the polish to find a fungal infection in 5 of my toes. I have to take 8 weeks of medication and wait for the infection to clear completely before I can even think about polishing my toes again. She was both too rough and probably did not use sanitized equipment for the infection to be on multiple toes, as my doctor noted.Be sure to ask that your tools have been sterilized before they start your service.
I went here to get a full set with designs on Feb. 3, 2022. My daughter and I never had problems with service before this encounter. I showed the technician where to cut the length as I didn’t want short nails. He clipped and said”if you don’t like the length go somewhere else. Next, I asked the cost of my service and he told me. The problem I have is they cut the nails 💅🏽 like shorties and charge $60. So, I told him this is not long nor what I wanted. After he finished , I asked to speak with the owner and left my number for him to call. As of today, 2/14 no call back and I will NOT be going back.
UPDATE: Peter and Traci has again restored my faith in the team. Super happy with my nails today. Thanks a bunchPost from 2021: I am a regular customer here and normally Traci assist me with all of my services. Traci happened to be unavailable today so I resulted to using VICTORIA for my eyebrows and it was the worst experience EVER. I asked her to do a regular clean up. Once she was finished after about 20 minutes my brows still looked the same as when I walked in. I expressed to her that I would like her to remove the stubles and clean up the top. She proceeds by telling me she has done brows for 13 years and walks away speaking whatever language. Thankfully KIM came and saved her because I was not about to pay for unfinished work. Please remind her that she works in customer service and quality together with a good attitude is a part of her job!
Atmosphere is very relaxing and they offer a wide variety of services. The techs are mostly professional and kind. I recently went in for services and one of the techs did not achieve the design I asked for. I was rescheduled and she rectified the situation doing an easier design. Techs should let customers know when they are incapable of achieving the design requested so not to waste time having to return and redo. Overall I have a pleasant experience aside the mishap and am very happy w the redo. My tech was pleasant although the hovering techs looking to see what was wrong w my nails and having an entire convo over me was a bit off putting
How can you run a business that every second the price changes, it’s really unprofessional when you have people of foreign descent who here trying to make a aware of living for themselves and they are extorting their customers by charging elaborate prices, they have no price chart for any other services so one week you can pay $100 next week you can pay $200 they’re basically doing highway robbery I wouldn’t recommend this place if I had a dead dog who needed their nails done! You are better off getting a little kid next-door to do your nails then going to these people they are complete rip off artist!
Monday the 2nd, I called and made an appointment with a woman for Saturday at 1pm with Tracy. She also asked me my name. I came in on Saturday and said I had an appointment with Tracy, I was told to sit down and wait. After 5-10 minutes, I saw a man talk to the girl at the front desk. The girl asked me who I was waiting for. I said I had an appointment with Tracy. She asked me what my name was. Tracy then went over to the girl and the girl told her she did not see my name or appointment. This information should have been checked when I first came in, but no one looked at this information until after I had already been waiting. Then, the girl asked me when did I call. I gave her all of the information and my mom was sitting next to me when I made my appointment because my mom has been here before. How could I have so much information, come in at a specific time, ask for a specific nail tech, and be assumed to making this information up. Tracy came over to me and said my name was not on the schedule and there was another lady sitting across from me waiting for Tracy for the same time. Tracy just starred at me and said sorry my name was not scheduled. No one ever tried to fix the problem. Whoever was working when I made the appointment should have been talked to. The staff needs to be retrained on proper scheduling. Someone needs to be held accountable because this is the most unacceptable and unprofessional experience I have ever had. When there is a conflict, a business should be trying to find a solution that satisfies everyone. I was not even offered to be seen by another nail tech. It is amazing how rude people can be and I would never go back to this business. I went to Escape nails instead which is on the other side from where this nail place is. I would rather be treated right than go to a place who treats their customers like they do not matter.
Had the worst experience at this place with nail tech name Chloe. . Told the nail tech she had not shaped my nails right and she said it was because of my nail beds. I told her I have always had my nails shaped the way I like it. Then I told her I wanted white she did off white. I complained and she told me “ if you don’t like it here you don’t have to come back”. I got furious and gave her a piece of my mind. She has no manners!! I explained exactly how and what I wanted from the very beginning and she claimed she understood. Got nothing like I wanted. What a waste of my over 150.00 , because my husband also got a facial. Poor service!!
I came in to get my nails done and brought in a picture for inspiration. I expressed in the beginning how important it was for me to have the exact shape as the picture. Holly was my nail artist and as she began gluing the tips to my nails I pointed out that some were crooked. I requested that she fix them and and immediately I could tell that she had an issue. She fixed Them and continued to do my nails and when it came time to file my nails she did not do it like I wanted so I expressed that and again she had an attitude. She began speaking back-and-forth with a coworker in their language, it seemed to me it was about me and my nails. She definitely had an attitude like demeanor. The coworker began laughing and giggling and came to look at my nails. The entire time Holly did my nails, I felt uncomfortable because it just felt like she didnt want to do them or she had a problem with me requesting them to be done how I wanted them. I did make a complaint to the manager I am not sure if they will do anything about it. But I will never come back to this place again. It was my first and last time.
I have been going to the same nail tech for over 7 years. I have noticed the several new faces at the front desk. Three times my scheduled appointment has either been pushed back to a later time or another date due to double booking. Today, I sat and waited for my nail tech in his chair for 15 minutes only to be told by the front desk that I have to be pushed back or rescheduled because someone doubled booked me again. I explained to my nail tech and he says sorry, I have to move. How unprofessional to make me move after I was already sitting in his chair and waiting for 15 minutes to take apparently the other client who was also scheduled at the same time. I took my money elsewhere, where I am valued as a customer.
My mom and I went for her birthday. Pedicure was alright, the woman who did it was a little gentle and only clipped my nails, never filed them. the manicurist was a hustler who almost harrassed me to get gel polish instead of regular, only for the gel polish to begin to chip the very next day. all polish was gone within the week. They both did a good job but the quality for price is not worth it depending on the service.
Nice place. Pedicure service is good, but gel polish manicures are poor. Ive been twice for gel polish applications and both times, the polish has started chipping in under a week, and in some cases, completely peeled off. Their application technique seems pretty standard for most salons. Maybe its the quality of the polish. Either way, I expect gel polish to last two weeks with minimal chipping. This salon cant do that.Also, the second time I went, I told the technician not to trim or change the length of my nails...they had finally grown to the length I wanted. The tech filed my nails into squared tips, and when i told her I wanted them rounded, she filed them down to the nail bed.So, Im again on the hunt for a good salon in the Brandywine/Waldorf area.
Ryan is awesome! Does exactly what I ask for. Doesn’t rush! I don’t get anything crazy but I am picky. He’s very precise and I appreciate that. I get a pedicure and pink and white sets. I only have to come in every 3 weeks because everything lasts so well. I never have to wait longer than 15 mins for my appointment but honestly that has only happened once when it was a later appointment on a Saturday ( super busy day) I understand, stuff happens. He’s typically on time. My sister referred me to him. He’s Worth every penny! The front desk people have always been polite to me. The place has always looked spotless to me besides some furniture looking worn out.
Took my nieces there to get their nails done. One was badgered to get gel polish until it was uncomfortable. The other was cut and the tech said see what happens when you keep moving. Do not I repeat do not go here. They are rude, disrespectful, and rush you.
Had an appointment on Saturday with Kobe for my 13 yr old daughter to get a full set acrylic. When we went in they made it seem like Me and my youngest couldnt go with her to the table. Which wasnt a big deal.. I sent her a text to let her know to make sure you tell him acrylic. She want white polish with jewels on 1 finger on each hand. Long story short when she was done we came to the register and he says $85 😳 I said did you do acrylic? He responded yes but color acrylic 🙄 Guess kinda my fault but he should have known better than to do $85 nails on a 13 yr old. He charged $10 for coffin and $5 for long nails.. WHAT! NEVER AGAIN. Ive never paid over $45 with gel nails.
You pay for what you want. The experience and the cleanest of the salon and professionalism of the staff will keep me going back. Bee did my nails and she was great. I was watching and I think Im going to try out Kobe next time because he is very talented.

I love my regular tech (male) but came in about a week ago for a nail repair and gel-color change. My regular tech was out so Lisa was the tech that did my nails but the entire time she complained about how my regular tech did my nails badly. She told me my nails were not good, they were uneven and that I should not use dip powder on long nails. She asked me twice to redo my nails and I said no. Then she asked me to come back to see her when I told her several times I already have a regular tech. She was so insistent and unprofessional. It really embarrassed me that she was showing the male tech next to her my nails and complaining to him about how bad they were in Vietnamese. My nails were beautifully done but she wanted to steal me from my tech and that was really unprofessional and I didn’t appreciate it. I was also overcharged.
My pedicure was done my Moon. She’s the best. Now the Gel manicure was the worst. Tech Peter did mine and my granddaughter’s . My gel French manicure taken less than 20 minutes. Polish started to pel filling day. Return in the following Monday Peter wife repaired nail, following Wednesday I notice the gel polish on the left hand started to peel. I returned on the Thursday of the same week. An older lady repaired nails, my request was for a fresh manicure. I callled back several times afterwards requesting a manager. Spoke to a lady named Mommy. She said the managers were to busy to call back. I paid $202.00 very disappointed. Will never return!!!!!!!!
Horrible experience! First and last time spendingmy $$$ there. They wanted to separate me and my daughter-heck no I didn’t see why we couldn’t get services at the same time. My 5 year old got a manicure and pedicure for $42!!!! I got gel on my nails which started to peel after 3 days for $45!!! They rushed my gel but took time to do my daughter however she said Mommy I didn’t like them. Won’t go back when my 5 yo isn’t pleased. Oh and I didn’t see the bill until they swiped my card which upfront they said my daughters service would be $25. I don’t even have the energy to go back to complain. I should have read the reviews first.
This place was so convenient for me. It was great when they opened and have gotten progressively worse over time. Very over priced! The technicians don’t give the same care to walk ins as they do clients, and you can tell. The front desk clerk yells at the staff and is very rude to them. The thing that bothers me the most and has caused me to never go back is the constant harassment during your service to upgrade. I went there just to get all the polish off and let my nails breathe for a while. The technician went as far as to say that natural nails looked ugly. Yeah I’m done! If you want to over pay and get harassed to spend more money, then The Golden Lounge is for you!
I thought long and hard about giving this review...I went in for a dip powder redo on one nail because it completely came off....Victoria was my operator....She seemed so irritated that i came to have this done..No eye contact...no hello...she just asked what color..i told her idk the red with the sparkles which she still had at her desk from when i got my nails done 9 days ago...when she was done i asked how much..she said nothing...i said when i was leaving..see u next time...she said ok...still not giving me eye contact...I pay for a service..always leave a tip..V. made me feel badWe as a people need to treat people better as human being....needless to say i wont be going back 2 her
I made an appt for a gel full. I got to the salon, was taken back by holly and she fixed my one nail and thought that’s all I wanted. Apparently the gentlemen who took my appointment did not communicate to holly what I needed.As she started on my nails, I showed her 3 pictures of what I wanted and she said she could not do any of them! I then asked her to do French with diamonds. She did the French and did not put the diamonds. When I said somethin to the owner his response was “SORRY”. No discount or anything. I am very upset and now I have to pay someone else to do my nails the way I originally wanted. I will never go back to this salon!
I went here for the first time yesterday to get my nails and feet done for my birthday. The service by my nail tech was great but the work on my nails is bad. I got coffin shaped nails and they are all different shapes and lengths, the tech didn’t smooth them out after i asked him to so they are lumpy. I spent $103, I expected better work. Disappointed.UPDATE: after having my feet done for 3 days, the polish began chipping. I’ve had my acrylics on for 2 weeks and one fell off today.
I absolutely love Lina my nail tech at Golden Lounge!! Shes professional, always about business and she does a beautiful job. We collaborate on the colors/designs for my nails and toes. She never just says pick a color, I love that because she knows that a happy customer is a returning customer. I always have to wear the colors for 2 weeks and I have to be happy!! Im going to keep this short and sweet.Go see Bunny for a 5 star eyebrow rejuvenation! Shes wonderful and funny as hell.I love this place because the customer service, ambiance, and and cleanliness is 5 stars. But the quality of product doesnt match the price. After one week, my gel nail and pedi looks horrible.Also ...they held me at the counter for 20 minutes arguing back and forth about overcharging me $10. Then, tried to convince me that they didnt overcharge me in about 2 or 3 different ways.I really wanted to love this place, but my only return will be to see Bunny.
I have been going to Golden Lounge since they opened. After going to different techs Ive found my go-to person. She is the best and I have had no concerns with rudeness, bad service, or overbooking. They are also some other good techs like David, Ryan, Tracey, to name a few. Drinks and fruit are included unlike other nails spas in the area. They are around the costs of other spas in the area. Ambiance is good and clean,. You can tell the owner takes pride in his establishment as he decorates with fresh floral arrangements regularly. They are pretty up to date on fashionable nail items (chrome, foil, cats eye). No complaints from me! Missing one star bc its expensive.
Once and Done!Visited the salon. Nothing special. Service definitely does not warrant the high prices. Henry acted like a jerk and was very offensive. He kept TELLING me to relax. If a nail tech has to ask a client to relax, then s/he obviously is not doing his/her job. He also TOLD me to pay for my service before he applied polish. Most salons ask the customer his/her preference. I had placed my credit card in a very accessible spot (pocket on my shirt). When I refused to pay on the spot, Henry made it a point to tell me three times, after applying polish, to pay on my way out, as if I had planned to skip out. I told him he was being very offensive. He offered no apology. On top of shabby work, he tried to overcharge me $8.00. During my manicure, he tried to up sell me for more expensive service. Nope! I declined. Guy who appeared to be manager relented on my tab after I refused to pay extra cost at check out. This place has lost what would have been a regular customer. First impressions are lasting impressions. I will not be returning.
Jason did my nails using dip powder. He is horrible. He did not use the led lamp to set my nails after applying gel on top. He used the fans. When I questioned this he said that the led lamp does not need to be used to set the nails. I have never had my nails dried with the fan after gel was applied as the top coat. After a few days my nails started popping off one by one all on one hand. I would go back to have them re-do but I would have to pay even though their tech did a horrible job.My daughter got her nails done by a different tech and her nails (dip with tips) look much better, he used the led lamp to dry her nails and hers are still intact. I will not be returning to waste my time or money.
I had a great first experience! Got my brows and toes done by Lina. I got the milk and honey pedi and loved it. The staff were great and the place was clean. I’m not in Waldorf a lot so it is slightly pricer than the regular place I go to, but the foot massage was on point and I got a free strawberry smoothie with a fruit bowel which they made on sight. The smoothie was delicious. So I was tickled and def hope to come back. :D
I’ve been going here about 3 years. My nail tech is Tracy and I love her. However, when I tried to book an appointment the Saturday before Mother’s Day I was told they were not accepting any appointments due to the holiday and I had to walk in. I thought that was odd. So I get there about 830 that Saturday morning for the rude receptionist to say she was booked. How is she booked if we could not book appointments?? It just so happened that Tracy was walking up and she said would see me. The receptionist was like “well that’s between y’all” and walked away. Listen I get it. Customers will get on your nerves but some things just aren’t warranted. I’ve been dealing with her attitude/rudeness since I’ve been going here and it’s absolutely uncalled for.
I took my boyfriend here to get our feet done. It was his first time so he was nervous but the staff made him feel at ease. They were polite and offered us drinks before we even sat down. They even put us in a room that was just the two of us! I got the green tea pedicure I highly recommend it.Ive had a regular manicure here before and was disappointed with my nails. It was rushed & the tech was rude. But this recent experience changed my mind about them. I would go back strictly for pedicures.
Just now being able to write this review. I use to go here often Victoria did my nails however recently they not only over booked clients, but she rushed to do my nails and when I told her that they were messed up not only did she refuse to do them over but told me I could come back another day and have someone else do my nails. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on here stating that she’s rude! So this was the first time I’ve experienced it. She is very rude and shouldn’t be working there if she can’t respect the clients there. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Ken is the best. I’ve been with him for years and he is awesome. My feet are always in Heaven when I’m with him. And my pedicures last. I never have any issues. The service is excellent and they make everyone feel like number one. I won’t go anywhere else. Where else can you go and have a drink, fresh fruit and be pampered! It’s an amazing experience and I suggest you check it out.
I got a fill and pedicure and it seemed like the same price as getting full gell fill as if I was getting a soak off full nail as a just a fill in. I was not impressed. My feet were not as I would have liked it. My nails were not as good. I’m not going back. I went twice and was not impressed. Not worth the money.
The salon is actually very nice and yes staff is usually very courteous. I have been a loyal customer since the salon opened. I have had terrible experiences with my last 2 visits. I always and I repeat always have an appointment with the same technician. I had to wait 45 minutes. Trust me, I expressed my concerns. The very next time, I waited 20 to 30 minutes before announcing to the on-site manager that I was walking out and would NOT be returning. I am very disheartened as my technician is the best I have ever had but I will not stand for being disrespected.
I don’t recommend this nail salon. I had to come back THREE times to get my nails fixed from messing up. Couldn’t take a shower or rub lotion on my hands w/o polish coming off!!!! COMING OFF after paying $90!!!! I won’t mention the tech’s name but the individual could have made this a better experience. Take time for your customers because you would want that for yourself, right? 🤷🏾♀️
I started going to this place about a year after i moved to Brandywine, The first visit and service was not too bad, I even brought my husband for his birthday. Then the service went down hill. technicians are inconsistent with the quality of service they provide. Today is my last visit to this place, I had other bad experiences with them cutting my cuticles and making one eyebrow thicker than the other, but today beats it all, I was getting ready for my birthday and decided to have the works, I went in , the young lady offered me Henry, I said I didn’t want him( my experience with the male technicians here have not been good) She said no he is really good with pedicures and admitted he was not good the manicure, and told me she would get someone else, I was hesitant because I knew that he propbably wouldn’t want to share the work, if he does both, but I agreed. Almost instantly after she told him this he start hassling me about my fingers, I told him no several times, then he says let me take off the powder( I had a dip from a previous visit) I finally relented and let him, this idiot decides to use the back of an acrylic nail to pry the powder off my fingers, ripping up my natural nail as he goes, and as I look in horror. After the first 2 I said don’t you guys usually soak this to get it off, he then brings some scolding hot water and proceeded to dunk my fingers in it a toss a towel over it, then he takes my other hand to continue ripping the powder and my nail bed off, it came to a head, when he was being so rough and callus that he was sticking my cuticles with the acrylic nail as he was savagely attempting to get the nail off and I winced pulled my hand and said I had enough and that if I wanted to get it off that way I could have done that at home. I got up and grabbed my stuff went to pay and complain, the desk staff looked confused suddenly no one understood anything (or cared to) and this guy had the audacity to charge me for a pedicure and removal (even though he had not finished and he was basically ripping the nails off my finger) I was so upset that I paid without thinking, didn’t realize until I left,(or I would have never paid) But that is the last money they will get from me, I will drive to silver spring or cute nails at PG before ever going to this place again.LIke I said had bad service before but this was the straw that broke the camel’s back, at the prices they charge,at least be consistent with the service. Stop trying to rob people, and at least act like you have some interest in providing good customer experience.
This is home for me. My nail tech is Victoria. I love her with real love from my heart. She cares for my nails and toes as if they were her own. She takes her time and never rushes. The facility provides you a beverage and a choice of fruit or cookie with your visit. They take care of you. The owner brings in fresh flowers.
As a business owner I am totally appauld with lack of service and care that I was shown. After a horrible pedicure by Jason I expressed my concerns and was offered nothing. I let that go and had someone else do my nails only for my gel polish to be peeling from the tips today. To top I off its my birthday and I was working and could not make I back to Waldorf to be repaired. I paid $110 and decided to call to see what type of compensation could be made on my next visit and was told nothing could be done over the phone despite the receptionist remembering the complaint from yesterday. Just wanted to share some insight on the type of Customer Service youll get at this establishment!!!! If you want your patronage to be appreciated take your business somewhere else!😡😡😡😡
My daughter and I went for my birthday and were pleasantly surprise with the service. We scheduled appointments so that we could get in and out, and thats exactly what happened. Watch out for the up-sale on gel manicures - my daughters nails chipped in a day.
I went to this salon and had a manicure, pedicure and my eyebrows done. My bill came to 137.00 dollars. I paid my bill and left a tip at the front desk. I got my receipt for the payment. The same evening I received a call from the technician on their company line and since I was in a meeting he left a message on my phone. The message was very demeaning accusing me of not paying my bill. He continued to ring my phone multiple times back to back and then finally I texted him after my meeting saying he was incorrect. Another employee left a message saying I had not paid as well and they wanted to resolve the problem. Then David the technician started texting me and calling me a liar, a thief, a robber and more..I went to the shop the next day with my receipt which was completely inconvenient for me only for Nino the supervisor to tell me he was sorry. I explained to him that was not enough. The owner Roberta contacted me to say she was sorry and again I explained that was not enough. I am very upset at this unprovoked treatment and the lack of resolving this matter to my satisfaction. This technician should have been held accountable for his actions and it was not done. It was just swept under the rug. I’m writing in hopes that no one else has to experience such an ordeal with Golden Lounge. They accused me of something I didn’t do and will not resolve this issue to my satisfaction 😡
Out of all the salons I’ve ever been too, I have to say The Golden Lounge is not the best. There has not been a visit of mine to The Golden Lounge that I have not been heavily disappointed. The nail technicians do not listen to the costumer’s requests or complaints and even if the manicure/pedicure appears the way the client would hope, you are sure to be displeased by the aftereffect. The nails lift, crack, and chip off. I do not know how people are supposed to “lounge” when you are constantly having to tell your manicurist what you would like. The Golden Lounge may seem like a high quality nail salon, but I can assure you it it less than.
I went with my mother, walked up to the counter and told the receptionist we both wanted a pedicure, she needed a fill and I needed dip fill. We came in at 5:30 waited 20 mins. They started our pedicures and I was able to pick my dip color. During that time no one told me “they didn’t have time to do my nails”. My pedicure was done they sat me down in at a station and the nail tech asked me to come tomorrow. While my mother’s fill was completed. So unprofessional never again.
Well you can tell they do a lot of business here. I stopped off here to save time on my way back to Virginia. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I was one of maybe 30 to 40 customers being serviced at the same time. I wont say this is the most friendly staff but I will say that I didnt have any issues and I would come again. As a matter of fact the color was picked out by my technician and I have to say he was absolutely right and Ive had several compliments on it so I would definitely choose him again. I didnt get his name but he has a tattoo of an H on his finger and hes funny too.
I use to love this place but the quality and work ethics has been changing over the past year. *that right I still came back for a year. I wanted to be as unbiased as possible* I have been coming home re for about 3 years now and use ro love this place. Ryan is a great, he best followed by Vivian and Bunny. Solely because of how aggressive their schedules are its almost impossible for me to see them. *My job schedule fluctuates weekly.* Litterally everyone else in the shop is a hit or miss. Ive gone to several diffent shops in Waldorf off of my last bad nail tech in Golden lounge and would come back after a couple months to see if anything change. It did. For the worst. Theyre slowly raising their prices and started charging for coffin shaped nails even on your natural nails. What!? I litterally had to show this women what I had been paying here because she was trying to charge me 70 gd dollars to paint and file my nails. When I only paid $55 before. She instantly caught and attitude and proceeded to take 2 hours to do my nails. All I ever get is sns and coffin shape. My friend who came with me asked me how long this normally took, 45 minutes, because she came in got a mani and pedi and was ready before me. UNACCEPTABLE . Icing on the cake was that my nails looked like my 9 year old niece did it. It was bulky ecause she didnt file the top down enough or evenly. She cut my cuticles more than once and filed the sides of my nails until it tore through my skin. I honestly dont even know how I remained somposed enough not a cause a scene. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL! Once at the register she looked at me like she would set me on fire when I told her I wasnt paying and to go get the manager. I showed him and he spoke to her and said that I should have got him sooner not once she was done. WHAT!? Sorry I give people the benefit of the doubt and wanted to see what the end result was going to be before alerting you. Irritated he said I could pay $20. I corrected him saying I would not pay to have an unpleasant experience due to your employee and to have my time wasted. There are more unsettling times but nothing like this. Spend money literally anywhere else other than here and Diamond nails. Just leave Waldorf for good nails, attitudes and much better prices. Side note I left mad and went to a shop up the street to get my nails soaked off.
Came from out of town and will be glad to never come back. The first tech that attempted my nails didnt listen to what kind of fill I needed and didnt know how to do it so he sent me to another tech. The first tech tried everything to get me to get what he wanted in my nails (dip powder, red polish, longer length none of which I wanted or asked for) and seed annoyed when I kept saying no. The second tech that finished my nails left gel polish all over my fingers and my nails are thick and sloppy. Not once did anyone tell me their name or ask mine. The whole thing was very rushed and both techs were rude. If I had seen how sloppy they were before I left I wouldnt have paid.
Poor customer and quality service. My gel pedicure was horrible. The polish is uneven with lumps in it and they did not cut the cuticles. I knew it was a problem when he took my gel polish off with an Emory board and he acted like that was normal. I mentioned it to the manager at checkout and tried to show him and he acted like I was the problem and was very nasty to me. $65.00 down the drain.
If I could give this place no stars I would. I asked for a eyebrows to be shaped up because I love my thick eyebrows. I ended up walking out that salon with thin eyebrows hoping and praying they will grow back normal. The lady wax way too much and plucked my eyebrows till they were thin. I will never return to this place nor recommend anybody to this place. They do not listen to customers and are overpriced for the BS job they do.
I like this salon but it is has so many flaws that need to be fixed. I love how they offer and give free drinks with service and the interior design is nice.I will say that customer service can be better and they could also make the place feel a little more inviting. This is my second time getting a massage at The Golden Lounge and neither time have I been satisfied! They need more experience, for example I asked for a Sinus Massage and the purpose for a sinus massage is to massage certain points on your body to release and drain your sinuses (mostly your upper body). Henry who massaged me massaged my feet and back and touched my head and called it a sinus massage! Then had the nerve to look at me like I was crazy and he was ready to go when his timer went off. I kept asking him was he serious? Is that it? Thats not a sinus massage! And he claimed it was, but I knew better! So I told the manager who told me to tell them next time. I didnt want to make it a big deal so I left it alone. Another thing is that the massage room is cold! How the hell is your massage room cold? Its supposed to be at a relaxing temperature for the customers. Im not paying an arm and a leg here anymore for a massage. This is my last time getting a massage here, ever!
I went here to get my eyebrows done and i listened to the reviews and requested Bunny. And i must say, google didnt let me down. Despite the long 30 minute wait, Bunny did my eyebrows wonderfully while offering tips and a good laugh at the same time. The prices are pretty high and it probably wont be my go-to place if Im on a budget, but Bunny has given me second thoughts.
I totally agree with one of the other posts. Gel polish chipped 2-3 days later and $80 down the drain. I went back to see what could be done because I realized I had gotten gel polish and not the gel overlay. I was told nothing could be done after 3 days and they were misinformed. I said I was away and just returned and they said sorry. Well, sorry I will not be returning.
Just left The Golden Lounge Nails & Spa. It is nice that they have a smoothie bar and offer fruit, BUT they are not welcoming at all! In my experience this afternoon no one said, hello, welcome, thank you or anything hospitable. My technician rushed, made mistakes like leaving me with a cut on my toe, applying regular nail polish on some nails when they should have had gel polish, didnt buff feet or apply lotion to legs and feet following the pedicure. I left today feeling very frustrated and sorry that I had chosen to go to this salon.
DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! They have HORRIBLE customer service and they have high prices. This was the first nail salon I went to in Waldorf and I was highly disappointed. One of the workers blatantly argued with a customer and told her that he didnt need her money in front of all the customers in the salon because she was not satisfied with her nail color. I requested to get my eyebrows threaded and the worker used THREAD THAT YOU SEW WEAVE IN WITH on my eyebrows..realized it wasnt working and begin to tweeze them. It was a horrible experience and I will never be back.
Don’t not waste your money here. They rushed there work.. I got a gel pedicure and it didn’t even last me a week before they started coming off.. Another set I had I got a acrylic pedicure and they started popping off within two days…
The atmosphere is this spot is great. Beautiful furnushed and plenty of inventory. Immidiatly greeted and offered a refreshment which is very pleasing because they seem very busy. Kobe, my tech, was surprising fast and thorough. I hate being rushed and given a “less than” but Kobe was extremely thorough and did my gel nails perfectly.Very pleased today!
Worst nail/pedicure salon in Waldorf. My gel polish cracked off the same day and my nails nails were uneven and poorly manicured. The Manager at the front desk are totally unprofessional and take your money. They blame you for their poor work ethic and then take your money. People....... listen to the reviews and DO NOT patronize this salon.
Eyebrow arch . The lady that did my brows told my not to talk to her and do not breath . I have never heard of such thing when getting eyebrow service. Then she started that her boyfriend was black and her daughter was mixed. My eyebrows was nice but what do you think of her approach? I say ignorants has no color or nationality .
Paid $110 for manicure and pedicure decided on gel nail polish after 5 days the polished lifted off my nails. Then I was told 5 mins under dryer for toes..she checked my toes and said ok you dry. After getting home taking off my socks the nail polish was pushed back off nail because it was not completely dry! I gave 3 stars because the pedicure was awesome. After, manicure no hand massage. I was considering having my bridal party there but nope!
Very, very, very rude. If you need your nails shaped a particular way, do not go to this salon. Ive never been so insulted in my life. I wasnt in the chair 5 minutes. They literally put me out for wanting my nails filed neatly.

I felt disappointed as I requested an experienced technician only to be having my feet done by someone who obviously was not interested in and had no professional training.. he looked liturgic and just happy to be doing no pedicure.He saw the disappointment on my face as he simply could not even apply the parafin or other services correctly. He rushed through the process and paid for a premium pedicure. I decided to give him a pass but he could apply a simple nail polish —- half of my toes were missing polish from corner to corner.I told him take the polish off and he gladly did without offfering any alternative.Told the stinky looking tattoo and blonde one who face had leopard spots and she insisted I paid and giving me a gift receipt—— dummy—- why do I need a gift receipt? I don’t want to come back — tattoo witch and the other one who does the microblading— and her yes not even micro blades... which tell you she ain’t it.She was Condesending! And I get it that there can people who are problematic but they straight out acted like ghetto bully’s and was pressed for the money instead of meeting the customer expectations.They were treating me like a criminal and it’s all because I am black. The funny thing is 90% of their customers are black —. The skunk kept looking at me up and down, I am a working class and I can pay for my services.The mannerisms in handling BLACK customers leaves lots to be desired.Should all the black People boycott this business y’all gonna go back to Japan and where ever y’all sneak in from. Let’s see how long they will stay in business with such poor customer appreciation. One of them literally wanted to get aggressive all for a bad pedicure. They need training! They just filling this place with illegal folks who can’t deliver the services paid for.
My nails KEEP chipping whenever I come here. Sure they give you a few bites of fruit and a little smoothie in a dirty glass... but my nails (and I get gel) usually last at LEAST 2 weeks... but here, the 1st or 2nd day im peeling... this doesnt happen to me anywhere else but here and my daughters barely lasted either!I was charged $150 for a mani pedi for myself and a 10 yr old. I told them specifically DO NOT use gel on our toes and they did it anyways.Ive given them 3 chances... im done!Also nico does my eyebrows wonderfully, im going back to my normal spot because the smoothies AINT worth it honey!

This place is horrible. Do not go here. Its a typically asian establishment that services a group of people they dont like and just want their money. The attitudes are disgusting. It is a very unsanitary establishment. I politely asked for my foot bowl to be cleaned before I recieved a pedicure because I could still see dead skin in it and I saw the her ring a dirty washcloth in it as well. The lady argued with me and argued to her coworkers in her language. She demanded someone else come clean becuase she wouldnt. Once they cleaned it she came back with an attitude still and filled it with hot water that scolded me when I put my foot in. I immediately got up and left I took picture of my burns and reported to the front desk and sent the pictures to them to show to the owners as well. Nothing was ever done and I never got an apology. This place is racist and thinks nothing of the people it services. Do not spend a single dime here.
Ive only been here once but that experience was amazing! Clean, great customer service, plenty of space. I got a gel fill-in, pedi and eyebrows. I WILL be going back. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is my toe polish chipped a little earlier than it should have.
Get a new front desk manager! The lady that checks you in is rude and unwelcoming. She has the nastiest attitude with customers. I am a long time customer but will be shopping around for another nail shop in waldorf because of her. Get rid of her and I will return. Nothing bad to say about the technicians or the shop - 5star. The 1star is specifically directed towards the girl at the front desk. I am big on customer service. If I am spending my money (prices are not cheap there) than I want a pleasant person to greet me.
Found my new spot! Plenty of staff so no wait. Served fresh cut fruit and smoothies/lemonade. Nice and relaxing. Prices fair too. Great first time visit. They were the only salon open in Waldorf after 6pm on a Sunday too! Yea - 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Listen yall, I recommend facials and massages here!! I have always had great experiences! Today I had a sensitive skin facial with Sherelle(Shirell?). Very pleasant! I would honestly go back just to get the head massage! Lawd!For my body massage 3 months ago I had Moon. She was great as well! Will definitely come back for these services!

The first two times I called I was put on hold for over 5 minutes. I called back two more times and an automated Verizon recording said my call could not be completed. Don’t bother trying this place if you can not get an appointment with the names mentioned in the good reviews.
I felt like the tech was rushed to get me out. I was looking forward to a relaxed mani pedi but that didnt happen. Nor did the quality of the service match the price I paid.

I was referred to this spa by a good friend. They always do a great job with my mani & pedi. Bunny microbladed my eyebrows and it was the best decision I have ever made. She is extremely personable & knowledgeable about the process. I highly recommend this service. Its worth the price. 😍😍
This place is poor with customer service and satisfaction. The technicians( David) are very money hungry and dont care about making sure the customer receives what they ask for.The management is an absolute joke and unexperienced in customer satisfaction.It is very disappointing to go to a place that atmosphere is only beautiful cosmetically and the substance within is terrible. I take pride in my appearance and dont mind paying fir quality but this establishment is clearly only concerned about quantity. Well they just lost an excellent client.

This place is a scam the employees working there are not certified. Nino who is the manager there figured out away to cross train his employees without certifications. The receptionist is very rude also .Example how his it that the nail technician is the same person who gives massages but doesnt speak English. My gel nail polish all popped off within a week of getting done. Manger said it was because the weather was so hot...I disagree, They were not done properly. Gel nails should last 2-3 weeks. Completely ridiculous 😡 waste of my time and money.
Went with my girlfriends for, one of my girlfriends birthday, Iwas not impressed at all spent $175, for what a Pedicure with a design she stuck on my feet FROM a piece of paper and I got the Lemon Scrub which was a total of $77 dollars, then on to nails a Fill in with a design,on each hand 1 finger and eyebrow clean up another $98, ,was not impressed at all REALLY, I thought they charging my for a Body Massage NOPE, I WILL NOT BE BACK, over priced service.
Worst pedicure I ever had and this was 4 months ago. Did not take there time it was guy he was rushing I paid extra for calluses and when I got home guess what calluses were still there and I tipped. For what?????

The management at this place is horrible. They charged me extra for mood nail polish that did not change. I went back the next day and they wanted to charge me $60 to change it on my nails and toes. The owner was extremely rude and nasty. There are too many nail salons in this area to deal with someone treating you rudely.

My nails keep breaking. Every 3 days a nail breaks which is ridiculous; I have acrylic gel nails which usually last me about 3 weeks. I have only had my nails for about 1 week and I’ve already had to get them fixed twice. I will never come back here again and if I could I would give this place less than one star. Go somewhere else trust me.

I just left golden lounge , and after 3 years of being an on and off regular I can honestly say , Im disappointed with them . The service was good the tech was great .But they tried to get over on me and charge my card more than the service was ( most likely to give themselves a tip )I wont be going back , but I wanted to warn any future clients of their shady practices

My nails were done horribly by Quinnie. I paid $50 for a fill in and my gel is cracking and it’s just a horrible horrible job. I called and left a message to find out when I can come back to get it fixed and no call back. Never going back!!!

Used to love this place until I got an INFECTION from their tools that resulted in me having the area flushed. Not only did I get the infection, they refused to provide a refund after disputing with the bank.

Bunny does an EXCELLENT job with microblading! My eyebrows are the only tatto I have and maintain. Luckily, touchups are far between.
