Kabin Lounge

Cool spot. Me and the party co host thought we would all be to old but this place seemed to have a lot of different age brackets. The manager suggested we get their early to avoid the rush which turned out to be a great idea. The place got very busy. He allowed us to bring in cupcakes and was very attentive to our table. Thanks to the dj for taking a couple music requests. The server was new and sweet. She did a nice job with the bottles we ordered.The vibe was just not the same when I was here in the Summer. The music was mainly techno and house music. Crowd looked much younger.

Our time was better then the first but the place needs to fix a couple of things like the bathroom line. The placed was very crowded so I guess it goes to say the restroom lines would be long but wow. They have a bathroom attendant helping the guests which helped but only a little.The bar is beautiful but not big. I waited nearly 10 minutes to get some drinks having to muscle through the crowd. They have all the brands that are popular but my liquor wasnt there. That hurt so I played it safe with a martini. The bartender smiled when I ordered that. Maybe not a popular drink in a packed club. It was great and a fair price.The music part was the best part. The DJ was mixing up a lot of 80, 90s and todays hip hip plus some house. Dance floor was going crazy so I stayed far away with my martini in hand. We stayed by the entrance most of the night and people watched.Saw the same manager from our first time. Asked if he remembered us but he was gentlemen enough to say no mam. He was sweet as before. Bumped into him a little later and he offered us a drink but by that time we were not ready for another cocktail.

So this was a good referral but not a great one. The place was packed which is probably because the music and decor are awesome. Its a real cabin feel all the way to the fireplaces on the tv screens. The problem we ran across was getting to the bar. The bartenders were hustling but the bar itself isnt very big against the volume of people inside. There was a line to the restroom which no one our age wants to see. The crowd was younger then we hoped. Luckily we found the manager and he mentioned the weekends are always fun and full. He suggested getting a table next time and the champagne will be on him. He then bought us all a round of drinks. A nice touch.

This is a decent spot in the cut that you will enjoy, depending on who is throwing the party though. It is very dark. Watch your step!! When you are leaving you may forget that there are stairs that lead back to the street! The restrooms are private. Thats a good thing. The bar staff has been nice every time Ive visited.

My experience is limited to a few birthday party outings. The music selection has always been a combination of hip-hop, pop, and EDM sprinkled in. Everything was hassle free from the bar to the dance floor. The crowd was diverse and drama free. Bottle service is more expensive then you might imagine given the venue so check ahead before you book.

My least favorite bar in DC. The bathroom lines are ridiculous, as in having to wait upwards of 15 minutes. Rude, terrible service that was unacceptable. The drinks are weak and overpriced. Please go to any place but this one. This is my first bad review of a place but I felt obligated to because I had such a bad experience.

Heres the story - my boyfriend was at the bar, trying to close out the tab. The bartender states that hes causing a scene (and maybe he is? hes kinda loud) and that he needs to leave. He says...ok Im closing my tab. She refuses to give him his card and his ID which he had to supply to buy drinks at the bar. After an inordinate amount of time at the bar, I go to my boyfriend and ask whats wrong. He says that they have the card and ID but refuse to give it to him. Im asking the bartender whats going on? She says the card was closed out; they dont have it.However, my boyfriend was adamant that they had it. He gets the cops involved, and lo and behold, the credit card was recovered, but not the ID. Pretty insane right? Imagine our disbelief last night when this happened in a span of couple of hours while were out trying to have a good time with our friends. Im definitely not coming in here again. I cant help but wonder if ID theft is common at Kabin.

Wow, what an amazing experience! Kabin does it right. I wanted a fun night out with my girlfriends and we decided to try Kabin. We had a great night with craft cocktails and a unique venue. I will definitely try this place again.

Lots of aggressive men will make me never go back. We werent inside for more then 20 min before I got my butt grabbed. Avoid Friday nights at this place ladies or be extremely careful.

The staff is extremely friendly. I love the bartenders there. However the new manager is a real jerk. Used to be my favorite spot, I see why some of the old staff have left.

The space is small, the music when I went on a hip hop rap night was mediocre, the drinks as well. But they have open bar for ladies sometimes and no cover fee so there is that.

I got groped a short time after walking in. Ladies be careful. There was a lot of men inside and not a lot of women. That normally would not bother me but this was alarming. Ive been here before without a problem.

Interior is bold enough to warrant a theme but stays neutral for basic decorations to change things up. The shot of the night smelled herbal.The stairwell has dangerously low lighting.

I cant tell if I love Kabin or hate it. It has great music but its way too overcrowded and the place smells like pee and beers. Regular DC drink prices...so expect to pay alot.

Stopped in for an open bar promo starting 10 pm on a Friday night. The place was packed beyond belief and getting to the bar was impossible. Hot and crowded, dont recommend unless you like lines and no place to dance.

The lounge offered a range of craft cocktails, beers, and wines that were expertly prepared and delicious.

One of the well maintained pubs in DC. Drinks are worth the price. Not watered down. Staff are a little stiff trying to maintain the pub. Feel a little rude.

This place was ok me and my friend was supppse to go to decades but she forgot her id smh and while we were standing on the side one of the club promoters from this club passed and asked what happened I told him what happened he told us he can get us in for free even without my friends Id so we went here he put us in a section and everything. It was nice until about 1 when all the ratchets started coming in guys standing on sofas which is hella ghetto for me it was just annoying they switch djs the first dj was nice he did the throwbacks from like early 2000’s but after the next dj came it was music that I wasn’t really into like today music it was nice tho before that usually I don’t leave a lounge before 2 but I had to leave cus I was over it next time I’ll just stick to decades or ultra bar. They only have one level which is kind of sucks also

Went here on a Saturday around 1AM. No cover, good music and very diverse. Overall experience was great, just a bit too crowded flat times.

Music is good, drinks are strong, but it does get crowded at times. New years was a lot of fun! Ill be back again!

Nothing really stood out here, ordered long island iced teas and they were made horribly. $13 or $14 for a drink, it should be made properly.

Came here for a meetup and I loved it. First time I been out in DC drinking for a long time! I could come back!
