Great product selection and wonderful staff. Only issue is that they sell all juices and hardware 90% - 110% above what you can find on-line. I would rather go there to taste and order my juices/gear online. They need to stay below 20% markups against e-commerce to be successful and move more product. Prices are awful. Product selection is great. Staff is very helpful.

I stumbled in the shop on day one, and Ive never had a bad experience in here. The employees are wonderful and they go out of their way to carry high quality stuff. Even with the new FDA regulations, they have been able to provide excellent service to everyone!

Not just product and prices, but communication as well.Its cool when a place like this, where they are professional AND have great products and prices and communication, also has personality types that fit the store and its theme and mostly its customers.I sometimes order products online, but unless youve ordered products from the same place multiple times, you never sure what youre going to get. And you have to wait.So not only is it great to shop products physically/in person, most of all I love to patronize locally if at all possible first.As with any other product, prices are a bit cheaper online. At Central Iowa Vapors Wloo, the service and the store and the people and the communication are well worth paying a bit more for, to get what you want when you want it, from a human! Used to shop here weekly. Until I showed up without a mask because I ruined my last one, was told I had to buy a mask from them if I wanted to enter. If you want me to shop at your store and I dont have a mask, you provide one for free. Its the principle. I will order everything online from now on. So long, it was a good 2 years!

Its always a great experience here. I will not buy my vape products anywhere else. I never know what I want, I am always show patience and leave a happy customer everytime. Theres no competition anywhere else in town.

Formerly sold in-house created flavors of vaping supplies, but under new management they never had my particular choice (Fresh Menthol). Id even call several days before to make sure it was ordered and would be on-hand when Id drive to Waterloo. Invariably it was never there. Staff were great, but if you cant keep/order enough supplies that I want to purchase, I take my business elsewhere.

Dylan was amazing! Didn’t even buy my vape from there but he was still so kind to help me with everything. He was so accommodating and kind to help my friends who were buying vapes as well. Great experience here and amazing prices. Highly recommend:)

Customer service is personal and welcoming. No pressure atmosphere. Prices are most reasonable and they are always running speacials. Alex always makes me and others feel welcome and appreciated.

I have been coming in here for a few months now. The staff is very helpful and friendly. When I was trying to find a device for my mom who lives in Texas they helped me find the right one for her. Alex is super cool.

Everyone that works at CIV in Waterloo is very friendly and super knowledgeable. The shop has a great atmosphere. The chairs are comfortable, the selection is huge, and the store is always really clean. If you are looking to quit smoking, this is the place to go.

Very nice vape shop to go to. The staff was friendly and sociable. They have a large choice of e liquid and mods to choose from so your bound to find something you like. The prices are affordable so you dont have to pay an outrageous price for a bottle of liquid or a new mod.

I love this place. The prices on the mods are amazing. The only thing I dont like is how expensive alot of the oil is. Other than that, the people that work here are extremely knowledgeable, and treat customers very well. It doesnt matter whether youre going in just curious having never used a vape, or if you have been vaping for a couple of years they will be able to truly set you up for whats best for you individually. I have never been disappointed with any of the customer service, or products from Central Iowa Vapors. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone.

Staff didnt seem all that friendly. Only been once, though, so maybe guy was having a rough day. I suppose its convenient but Ive stuck to ordering juice online.

They have more stuff readily available than other places in northeast Iowa, yet when you walk in they may not even acknowledge you or say, well be right with you. Spent a very long period of time being ignored while some other customers tried everything in the store and asked every question imaginable (ever hear of Google). All I needed was coils. 3 seconds. I just left. They never said a word to me or haves me a chance to ask. This has happened more than once. Multi-task guys. Greet your customers. Come on.

A true vapers shop. A frequent users card and tons of options. This shop is perfect for new people or experienced vapers alike. The staff knew exactly what was needed and gave some great recommendations of their own. If you live near by this could be an expensive but worth it place to frequent.

I usually mix my own e-juice but ran out of mats and e-juice (stuck in mail). So, I thought Id give this nice little shop a try. The store opened at 10AM but I unknowingly showed up around 9:30 and was pleased that the owner invited me right in!What I seen was a lot of quality products; such as mods, tanks, drip tips, and a wide variety of e-juice from multiple brands to include the in-house stuff. What amazed me was that the selection of mods/tanks/drip tips were very tasteful and new hot items.I ended up buying some of the in-house brand e-juice in Watermelon Jolly Rancher, and this guy knows how to make some good juice! I wish there were more nic % choices, however.Overall, it was a very nice experience to see such quality in a small town such as ours.10/10 service.

I love going to the vape shop here. The manager is very knowledgeable about the MODs and knows kinda what flavors are the best kind to try. The workers there are very awesome and very amazing at what they do also. I would trust them with any of my questions. Because they would answer them honestly. They go above and beyond for there costumers. I give it a A+ rating. Very business like and also a good spot just to vape and have fun.

I had never been into a shop specific to vaping, but Im so glad I came here. Nicest people working there, good deals, they have a punch card. One night I stopped by 10 mins after close, and they unlocked the door, and were so nice about it!

I was introduced to Central Iowa Vapors buy a friend of mine and I do choose to go to the store at times to get what I need but I also have the convenience of ordering from there store in Des Moines and my delivery is here in two days. They have really got their act together and know what they are talking about when you ask them questions about any of their products whether it be vaping oil or vaping Hardware. The people at the store in Waterloo are awesome and treat you like you are the only person there no matter how many are in the store. Keep up the excellent work CIV. You have a loyal customer in me I will not go anywhere else or order anyting online from someone else. Yall know exactly what customer service is. Thank you for each and every fantastic experience.

There arent really too many options in Waterloo for vape supplies. While CIV is definitely the most knowledgeable place in Waterloo, they are also the priciest. Juices are a bit over priced. Employees are nice. Good atmosphere, located right down University Ave. Always a good place to stop by if youre from out of town and need some emergency help.

I I quit smoking cigarettes 3 weeks ago and have succeeded in staying away from the cancer sticks with the help of my beginner All-In-1. Online purchase with zero knowledge equalled sub-par unit. So glad I stopped in and talked with the very friendly, very knowledgeable ( cant remember his name) employee of C.I.V. He explained and answered all of my questions. If youve tried everything to quit and still havent! VAPE!!15 years as a smoker!! Now 3 weeks as a no smoker.

Visited the store multiple times now. Everything is overpriced and their customer service needs some work. The last visit I asked if they had any nicotine salts and was told yes but they sold me regular juice.

I have only been here a couple times and everytime i have came in and ask questions they just look at me like im dumb and give snarky remarks, i wont be back, ill be going to electric underground and pay for there excellent customer service.
