I was able to stop here while I was in White Plains for business. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent and attentive, our bartender was totally on point. The food was tasty, came out in a timely matter and was cooked properly. We went during dinnertime so it was quite busy but even so everything was excellent. There is a very nice selection of craft beer and as one would expect the majority of the food is American type fair so theres plenty to choose from. Also, plenty of different seating areas, inside, outside, front, rear. bar seats and tables. Great place to just chill out or bring family and friends
This place came recommended by another parent, so we took the kids here between our tournament games . We were a party of 5 (3 kids 2 adults) we all ordered something different and not one complaint was had (even from the kids). The kids menus was $8 across the board: sliders, grilled cheese and pizza were enjoyed by the boys. Corned beef sandwich and a chicken wrap enioyed by the parents. It was St Paddys Day weekend and we were still in and out in an hour (before our meter ran out). Our server was accommodating and friendly. The boys loved that hockey was on the TV and we loved their kids cups. I know it sounds crazy but these are the most solid kids cups Ive come across and still making its rounds .
I enjoy coming here for dinner when weather is nice. Inside is usually too loud and rowdy to enjoy but the patio is great. The food is pretty good. Dessert and drinks are especially tasty. There seems to be only 1 waiter assigned to take orders for the entire patio. There are additional bus boys and mixers who bring out food but its somewhat silly that 1 waiter, even if he is very good, should be expected to handle 16 tables by himself... point is: order when you can. You may not get a second chance for a while. And order dessert early if you can
I hate to report the decline of this beloved place, but here we are. Ive been coming here since 2016, back when we had happy hour martinis, ladies night, etc. Understandably, the pandemic changed things, however, the menu is not the problem. Service has notably declined. Bartenders are unfriendly and barely speak to you. They pay more attention to certain people than others. For example, the patrons next to me ordered food and received utensils, while I received nothing; had my food delivered without a for and had to flag someone down to get one. Drink and food finished, no one came around to ask if I wanted another or clear plates. Just overall felt unwelcome and wanted to leave as soon as possible.Ive missed this place, and returning after so long away was disappointing. I dont think it is horrible by any means, but this place lacks the spirit it once had.
I stopped, by when I was in town for work and would definitely go back. Service was excellent, the atmosphere was nice considering it was late evening during mid-week, booze selection was fantastic, and the food did its job. I ended up getting a burger, which I would give a 7.5/10, and the calamari which was solid as well.
Just love this place. You can bring families and you can hang out with adults. The bar is spacious, and the bartenders are friendly. The wait staff is courteous and professional. The menu is diverse and very good. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My go-to place.
This place tasted really good I did get a shrimp wrap that i didn’t particularly like but they let me switch it out for a different wrap that was very delicious and they didn’t charge me for the first wrap. Excellent service! Will definitely go back if I’m ever in the area.
I had a birthday party in their banquet room for my son Easter weekend. It was absolutely fantastic! Excellent service and delicious food. The manager and staff were professional and courteous. Im a repeat customer from 2011 and would definitely use the Brazen Fox a third time!
Our server Kayla was a bundle of energy and enthusiasm! She was incredibly helpful and attentive, turning our dining experience into a delight with her great recommendations. The ambience was charming and cozy, setting the perfect mood for our meal. However, I have to say, the tres leches didnt quite hit the mark for me. Id suggest going for the cookies or zeppoles instead – theyre absolutely delicious!
Enjoyed a late dinner, sat at bar watching game. Had a hamburger and coconut shrimp. A little noisy, late Menu. Easy parking behind restaurant.
Service was decent. The food was not good at all! The wings were overcooked, and the steak and eggs that 3 of us ordered were way overcooked. The calamari was not too bad. Ive dined at this place many times before, and the last 2 times have been disappointing!
This is by far one of new favorite places. Good ambience amazing food and best service ever. Carol was our server and provided the best service I have ever received in any food establishment. She went above and beyond and truly made our experiences that much better. Drinks were good food was better and for a Sunday it def had good ambience which is what we wanted. If in the white plains area def check this bar/restaurant out. Was def impressed how good the food was. Must try
We only had drinks but many in my group had food and said it was decent. We had a large group celebrating from high school. I had drinks and asked for them to be made lighter. Good music and crowd was pleasant. Four drinks were $50 which is about normal. They have happy hour Monday thru Friday 4p to 8p so you can spend less.
Go elsewhere. The food is a 5/10. Not sure what happened to the quality. Beer list is good.Service is atrocious. Bartenders let my glass go empty several times, never removed my plates or finished glasses, and were on their phones texting more than waiting on customers. The worst part is that it was a SLOW afternoon. So annoying. Sucks that Brazen Fox has gotten this way. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review, but this one is well deserved.
This is really nice restaurant. It was a cool get away from everything crazy in s big city. The food was pretty good. Mine wasn’t so great, but my girlfriend’s food was phenomenal. Their costumer service was exceptional. Really nice workers! I definitely will be visiting again some time. The bathrooms were clean, rarely find that these days. Parking is available on the streets. I recommend visiting!
Food was good and server was pleasant. Took a bit longer than I would have liked for food to come in but who knows how busy they were really. Only complaint is the seating at the tables isnt big guy friends friendly. The chair felt very unstable and hurt to sit after awhile. Im a heavy and tall person so keep that in mind.
The food is top tier here and the service is one of a kind. They have a wonderful menu and the service staff are the best.
Horrible service! Food was above average, place is nice! But , We felt discriminated! Racist place! We were a group of Asians, Hostess sat us by the place they do the DJ, without telling us we have to vacate @10. Understandable. But, they billed us out, we still have our food on the plates, drinks on our hands, they never relocate us. They left us standing around, after we paid. Then, when we asked where we can sit and continue our food and drinks, they werent so happy about it and manager asked us if they can escort us out. Why? They werent like that to the white people there. It just ruined our night. We just wanted to have fun after a weeks of hard work. But, we were just devastated. If you are a person of color, consider some other place.
Came here to check out their happy hour and was pleasantly surprised! The place is huge and immaculate. Very friendly wait staff. I sat at the bar and was attended by an older gentleman who was awesome and super friendly. Portions are huge and drink selection was vast. Will definitely come back. Food was great.
My high school reunion was held here in the event room. The food was great, the ambiance also great. Bartender was amazing. The outside was beautiful. I can’t wait for to go back.
Having recently moved to White Plains, we have been dining in lots of new restaurants, many of which are located on Mamaroneck Avenue. This evening we ate at one of the outside tables of The Brazen Fox. We had a wonderful server, Hali, who was personable and helpful to us as we looked over the menu. We ordered a delicious watermelon salad and a honey glazed grilled salmon served with fresh broccoli over mashed potatoes. We loved the food, Hali and will definitely be returning soon!
My regular go-to when seeking out above average bar food. Have taken friends and family here over many years. When moms in town this is the first place she asks the family to take her to. One of the nicer places to visit in the summer when you want to sit outside (recommend sitting in the back). Staff has always been pleasant and attentive. Good menu variety; however, occasionally the food (especially the burgers) can be inconsistent.
I had been delivering here for many years before I was a customer. The staff was always friendly as were the owners. They are just as friendly if you are a customer. Lots of great drinks, appetizers, dinners, and specials. There are always events for holidays and special brunches. This is where I had my first date with my now wife. We come back every year on that day and the food is always as good as the first time. Always plenty of parking in front or outback. Just make sure to feed the meter. White Plains is very unforgiving, they need your money. Out of all the bars on Mamaroneck Avenue, I will always choose this one wether for drinks or some great food and memories.
Some of the best nachos Ive had in a long time!! And love that the kitchen is open so late, great for late night bites
🌟 A Friendsgiving Feast at Brazen Fox! 🍗✨ Had an incredible night with former colleagues from the College of Westchester at Brazen Fox in White Plains! The staff was beyond hospitable, creating an atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. The food was a true delight—every bite a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. From the warm ambiance to the delectable dishes, Brazen Fox knows how to make an evening unforgettable. If youre looking for a good time in White Plains, this is the spot! Happy Holidays to all, and heres to many more memorable gatherings at Brazen Fox! 🥂🍂 #BrazenFoxExperience #FriendsgivingSuccess #HappyHolidays
Went there with a large group with individual checks. it was great! All the employees were very helpful and happy. Had a plain burger which was excellent, the sweet potato fries were fantastic -- crispy outside and soft inside. I had a special seasonal drink that was pumpkin flavor with bourbon.... perfect! Oh, the Reeses Peanut Butter Pie = fantastic! If you need to get up and stretch, so many old photos on the walls 🙂
Ive been to The Brazen Fox countless times for drinks, but my first experience with their food during restaurant week left me absolutely floored.Let me tell you about their steak sandwich - it was an absolute game-changer. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the quality of the steak was unparalleled. It truly blew my mind and exceeded all expectations.Whether youre stopping by for a meal or just grabbing drinks to watch a game, I highly recommend this place. Its become one of my go-to spots in downtown White Plains.Just be mindful of when you go - it can get pretty packed at night, reminiscent of a college frat house. So, plan accordingly to ensure you get the best experience possible.Overall, The Brazen Fox is a must-visit destination in Westchester. With its craft beer selection, delicious food, and lively atmosphere, its the perfect spot for happy hour, socializing, and family-friendly dining. Plus, theyre great for parties and private events too!
Nice place for a quick bite or lounge around the bar. For the price, fairly good food.
Wow! Amazing food and amazing atmosphere! I would love to have this place closer to home in Saratoga, NY. Highly recommend!
Loud loud loud great place to watch the game with fans !!! Very good food !! Decent drinks , but a good game night vibe !! I might go tonight for the Knicks game !!
A proper Irish Pub nestled right in the commercial heart of White Plains. Go there to be impressed with the Authenticity and leave with a feeling of satisfaction by experiencing a little bit of Ireland in Westchester County, NY!
Bar is getting Cheaper and cheaper with drinks. Taste like mostly soda or juice. I been coming here for 13 years and noticed a difference in the bar being cheap with cheap alcohol to begin with! Go to lilys across the st! Same price better drinks
Very accommodatingwhen we asked to move our table from outside to inside. Good service and quality food
It was Saturday around 11:30 amI told the bartender if they had cappuccinos, she responded yes, please give me a few minutes. After 20 minutes, she just ignored my presence and kept conversing and laughing with another employee. Just a friendly reminder, THE CLIENT IS FIRST to accommodate, regardless if it is a cappuccino or a large meal. Do I feel like patronage this place? No, thank you!The female bartender made a very bad profiling... After all, she doesnt understand how many! Good places and competitive service and prices are in white plains?
Nice place. Chicken Martini was excellent. Nice cold Guinness was on point as well
Great spot in white plains, NY. We were passing by and one of my old friends lives nearby and so we decided to hang out here. The place has good food, nice big outside patio, allows dogs, and has a friendly service staff. They gave us a big table, as we were a party of six, and we also had a dog, hence, they accommodated us to a more secluded area so we can have our own space.I had a turkey burger, which was delicious. The appetizers were pretty good as well. Not a bad spot to grab a beer, some appetizers and food while hanging out with friends.
Try talking to the manager. I think she is Ana or something like that, she made me wait and then sent someone to say that she was very busy and that she couldnt attend to me, great attention. 🤮🤮🤮
Nice atmosphere but besides that. The waitress looked and came off as if she hated her job, hated her life.. and that energy came off. The food was stale. No flavor.Chicken was undercooked.Fries werent fully fried. Only thing good was salad.
Recommend, great service and dinner we had. Our waiter Walter was very helpful with questions and we were able to get a round of beers and a fried calamari at a happy hour price and the Chipotle chicken wraps were delicious, entire staff did a great job. We sat in the 2nd floor dining area which was very nice and quiet being that it was a Tuesday evening and thats a nice room to check out, 5 stars across the board and I highly recommend Brazen Fox.
Looks like a nice place, we shot a movie there.
Great afterwork or weekend hangout spot. Solid food and really good drinks. Happy hour specials are awesome! A staple in White Plains with good reason. Also, the shared back patio area is the best in the summer months. Elite vibes.
I went here for lunch with my daughter.I had the burger and fries and a couple of beers. I usually get that good food here.My daughter had a nice wrap with fries. The food was very good. The waiters and the hostess were either very strange with us or there was a huge language barrier because I had to say the same thing over and over again on multiple ocassions?Hostesses ran up behind us on our way out the door AFTER we paid the bill and gave a nice holiday tip and threw some words at us?Not a very comfortable experience overall.
The menu features a variety of American dishes, with a focus on burgers, steaks, and sea food. The drinks menu is also extensive, with a wide variety of beers, wines, and cocktails. We all enjoyed our drinks, and the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere at Brazen Fox is casual and relaxed. The restaurant is decorated in a modern style, with exposed brick walls and a large fireplace. There is also a large outdoor patio that is perfect for dining al fresco.Overall, we had a great experience at Brazen Fox. The food was delicious, the drinks were good, and the service was excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Here are some specific details about our experience:The drinks were well-made and reasonably priced. We tried a variety of beers, wines, and cocktails, and everything we ordered was good. The service was friendly and attentive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations that we all enjoyed. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. We felt comfortable dining here as a group of friends
I love the Brazen Fox! My family and I were here on June 22nd 2023 for my Sons Graduation celebration and it wad amazing! Anna was really nice and helpful the entire time as well as the other staff there. The food was brought out in perfect time and was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had more than enough space to spread out. Thank you very much for an amazing experience.
Great atmosphere. Drinks were on point. Staff was awesome. Silverware was dirty. The buffalo wings, spinach dip, steak fries were bland, over cooked, the celery had brownish tips. I don’t know if it was a bad night in the kitchen but uh the food was subpar.
Just what was needed after a long week. Happy hour, good food, drinks and friends. The wait staff was attentive and nice. The service quick. I would definitely recommend and go back. The happy hour lasts until 8, when others end at 7. The games are on and the atmosphere relaxed, yet buzzing. Parking on the street and in the back.
Brunch menu selection. I ordered the French toast, described as having strawberries (came with two thin slivers of strawberries) and whipped cream. And maple syrup? (but had regular Aunt Jemima type sugar syrup in the cup). Got 2 pieces and kind of underwhelmed for a 12$ item that I probably could have gotten at a diner for less. Oh well.
It is a vibe here. I come from Fairfield County to hang out in the spot in White Plains . Lively, great food AND SPACE!!! Highly recommend would like to do a future event here someday! You cant go wrong
What a culinary adventure! From the moment we stepped in, we were transported to a world of gastronomic delights. The menu boasted unique combinations and creative twists that left us wanting more. The ambiance was lively, and the staffs enthusiasm was contagious. A must-visit for any food enthusiast.
Only giving 3 stars because the beer is cold and drinks are good. Everything else was horrible. The bartender paid attention to one group the entire time. We had to flag him down for drinks multiple times and the check. And the food was so bad. Everything that was fried you can tell was previously frozen. On top of that on a Saturday during lunch there was one group in the corner screaming so loud it drowned out the whole rest of the restaurant.
Came on a Sunday evening for appetizers, drinks and to meet family visiting from out of town. The service was very good, they were fast and attentive. The food could have been better, It was hit or miss. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. Fried calamari was our least favorite. The brussel sprouts were good. Overall we werent impressed with the food. The atmosphere was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would give them another shot in the future. Prices were reasonable.
Really cute holiday time ambience. Quality vs pricing is on point which is rare around here. Bar staff could be a little more attentive. Clean restaurant overall good vibes
Long time favorite when I have an HPN overnight. Easy walk from the Sonesta. British pub style, with wide menu choices. Great beer selection!
I decided to stop by for the first time and have lunch at Brazen Fox with four other friends. The waiter was a nice fellow and took my order in a respectful manor. I had only one issue when our food was served and we started eating three out of the five us found hair in our meals. This was a complete turn off and we felt sick to our stomach. We decided to call over our waiter and explain our situation. He says that he call a manager over and and address our concern. The manager arrives twenty minutes later. We were definitely disgusted with the place. I guess we should’ve known better prior to walking in. The place definitely doesn’t look like one of the cleanest places to have a meal.
Burger was tasty and I did not feel bloated after, which a burger usually does to me. Not a fan of the Jack Daniels sauce but good thing I get my sauces on the side.
Talk about a nice happy hour! Granted its only Monday - Friday BUT its 4p-8p and thats great! I forgot to share a picture of the happy hour menu but Ill just sat there are like 10 appetizers on it and ALL for $5 each! Then theyve also for margaritas for cheap on the happy hour menu (I think $5) and like 95% of draft beers also included! And theyve for wow the decent selection of beers on tap!We had the calamari, sweet potato fries, guacamole, salsa and chips, pear & gargonzola cheese pizza, Brussels sprouts, grilled cheese w/ mashed potatoes and I think thats it. Ask of those items w/the exception of the grilled cheese and mashed potatoes are all part of the $5 happy hour menu!Service was exceptional! Very attentive, polite, friendly and outgoing. Theres plenty of seating variety offered. Lots of tables and even a bar outside with a big TV. Then theres tons of indoors seating in different parts of the inside and another bar or maybe two indoors. Lots of parking in the attached lot (paid). We very much enjoyed our visit from start to finish and 110% recommend to anyone looking for a weekday happy hour or even during regular hours but just be forewarned their regular pricing is regular so expect to spend like $30-$40/person at a min.
Drinks are fine, but apparently you’re not allowed to wear hats after 11pm which they will NOT let you forget. We entered the bar at 10:15 and were told of the rule which we were fine with - my boyfriend and I were only getting one round of drinks. But… to our enjoyment…we were then reminded every 5 minutes that men weren’t allowed to wear hats past 11pm! Once it hit 10:50, every time an employee passed us they would remind us of said 11pm rule. We showed them that we had just a few sips of our drinks left and that we were actively calling an Uber. However, just 5 long minutes later at 10:55, the employees got extremely rude and aggressive, even after we confirmed that we were aware of the rule and were actively in the process of leaving. When we exited at 10:58, one of the bouncers was mouthing off at us about how they said no hats. It was not 11pm. We pointed that out. He didn’t care. This really shouldn’t be an issue, we know how to follow rules and we abided by them. We’re just confused as to why the employees feel like this is the hill that they have to die on before the rule even goes into effect. We were never combative about the rule - WE UNDERSTOOD IT. But why did they have to be so rude and combative about it?
I was walking by this place yesterday to go to whiskey lounge next door. The bouncer took some kids fake id (which is completely fine and justified), but then attempted to get his manager to sell it back to the kid. I have never been to Brazen fox but this is not behavior that should be allowed in white plains
Solid pub food in While Plains. Good drinks and food.
Fire spinach dip and sliders! Little expensive but worth it for the big screens and outdoor patio for dining×
Pretty disappointed with Brazen fox. A couple of years ago I would’ve had no problem giving 4-5 stars. Went back and problems all around. Beers were flat (multiple kinds), burgers were significantly smaller than they used to be, and they don’t give lettuce tomato onion unless you ask for it explicitly, even on the standard brazen burger! What kind of place does that. Place has sadly gone a bit downhill.
Like the old sitcom re-run, Cheers, they are always happy to see you at this bar and grill. Lively bar with multiple screens, yet the activity does not encroach on quiet diners who sit away from the bar. Suited for couples, first dates, families and singles night out. You just feel welcomed. Attentive, cheerful staff. Very clean, well lit and refreshed bathrooms. Their outdoor dining on the uncovered back patio is just so relaxing. Delicious mixed drinks. Generous portions from a great menu selection for every diet. Vegans and frankly anybody with taste buds, try the Korean BBQ cauliflower. Don’t try to make it at home, just come back and have more, lots more!
Threw my partner’s surprise birthday dinner here and Ana, the manager was incredibly helpful throughout the whole planning process. Dinner went by so smooth and I was pleasantly surprised at how budget friendly it was! Thank you Brazen!!
Great atmosphere friendly staff and good food
We stopped in for a night cap around 9:30 on a Thursday night. The bartenders were totally attentive and engaging. 5 stars for the staff. However, the late night menu was limited. We ordered the deep fried calamari and it was completely tasteless. 1 star for the food. We would try it again, just based on the staff.
Nice restaurant with a cosy vibe. Note that it can get quite noisy. I had the California panini; the sandwich was pretty good but I did not like the fries. I then has the chocolate lava cake for dessert which was terrible, the cake itself tasted strange (like what Id expect from prepackaged dessert) and the ice cream was pretty much flavorless.
Went with a group of people. The service was good and friendly, and had solid opinions about the food.Half the dishes were good, the other half were not. My fish and chips were subpar. Some of thr others dishes were not bad.Our mixed drinks were great. Very happy with that.
Good environment and good food try their rack of Lamb. Good drink option and happy hour 4-8. Waitress was slow with service but everything else was awesome.
Me and a few friends hosted a bridal shower and it was amazing! It was a brunch menu with unlimited mimosas and bellinis at an amazing price. I’m so grateful to Luis and Cynthia for helping me set up and being such great attendants on the day of! Planning here is very easy and smooth. The owner was present and made sure we had all we needed. The food was beyond what I expected, made very well. Don’t hesitate to book anything here it will be worth it!
Good times...good food...great service. Plenty of TVs to watch the games and plenty of seating/standing room. Booths are really comfortable and their service was on point...she often came by to check on us.Parking in rear is convenient. Dont miss paying the meter though, they will ticket you real quick! Get the city parking app and you wont have to go in and out to pay.
Great food! Great drinks! Great vibe! Ate a delicious salad and a grilled chicken panini, both delish! Sangria was also good. Place is big and provides ample seating; at the bar, on floor, or table tops near the window. If youre in White Plains looking for a place to eat definitely stop by.
This was my first time coming here for dinner. At night it is a great place for dancing. However during dinner time the food is great as is the service... but I do wish Guiness was on the happy hour menu lol
Average bar and food (has some good deals). If youre looking to spend a Sunday here for football, be warned, the manager does not cater to the local sport teams. Instead, hell give you attitude like a teenager when asked to change the bar audio to the NY team or adjust TVs for the majority local fanbase.
Had the Cobb salad for lunch. Boiled egg cooked with no green. Perfect. Sample of clam chowder almost had me ordering a bowl, but warm today Needed more dressing. Larger monkey dish? Service was perfect, cheerful and attentive without making me talk with my mouth full. Lower the price of the Cobb to under $20, and refinish the tables to take off the stickiness. But, Im going back. Bet their wings are good.
Great food, place comes alive in the night time. Solid bar, staff is very attentive and I have never had a bad experience here once. Keep it up!
Fair beer selection but they could do better with local selections. The service is friendly and the food is average bar food. I mostly go there for happy hour and to spend time with friends and colleagues.
I attended a group get together from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and they put the 20 of us at the front because theyre already was a holiday party in the back and other get togethers in a couple of other places. It is a perfect place together for drinks the food is spectacularly mediocre. When comes here to drink not eat.
Pleasantly surprised to see they had a few items on the menu labeled vegan! One salad, one burger, and one app. I had the black bean patty- it was really good! Large outdoor seating options and good service. Drinks are strong! Nice play to go with vegans and nonvegans where everyone can get something.
Terrific food and the wait staff was awesome. They accommodated every gluten free request without any hesitation. The Sunday brunch was terrific, and the cauliflower appetizer was a huge hit at our table!
We recently held a successful fundraiser for the Friends of White Plains Public Schools at The Brazen Fox. Reasonable pricing, great party space/atmosphere, delicious food and terrific service is why we enjoy having events at The Brazen Fox. And our attendees always have positive comments about the venue.
Went for Sunday brunch and service was very slow. Waited 20 min for our drinks to arrive and and an hour for food. When the food came, our orders were both wrong and the food had no flavor. This used to be a great brunch spot but I would suggest going somewhere else. The manager did remove one of the meals from the bill because it was literally inedible hence the 2 stars.
Nice ambiance. Excellent beer selection on tap, and the Fish and Chips are the best Ive had yet. Their buffalo chicken wrap was great too, cant wait to try some other things! Great to go with a friend or as a big group!
Our waitress Cynthia was the star of the show. Highly recommend the seating to the left of the DJ booths. She remembered us from a year ago and throughout the night made funny jokes to us. Rounds of drinks came faster than sonic the hedgehog throughout the night. I couldent help but notice she lost some weight and had to let her know she looked terrific.
The Brazen Fox is always a very welcoming place and I enjoy myself every time I go there. They’re very accommodating to me every time I choose to sit outside in their lovely outdoor tent that is heated. During this recent COVID surge especially I appreciate that they have this space so I’m not crammed inside. The food is great and the service is always 5/5. Will keep returning!
Great spot, which Ive visited for multiple different occasions. Friendly staff & delicious food!
I went with my work friends and one of them got a piece of plastic in his wrap. Not a nice experience but they apologized and didnt charge the foodBesides that it is fine for a Pup type restaurant
I Have been here many times throughout the last decade. Its a good place for meetings and small party events. It has a good sized space downstairs with an adjoining outdoor patio area (which is tented in the winter). The downstairs area has a Typical sports bar atmosphere with half a dozen TVs and a small bar. Food is okay and the Service is actually good. Mens bathroom has consistently been pretty clean throughout the years. Only real complaint is the uncomfortable and old chairs in the downstairs meeting room and outdoor/ tented patio area. The chairs are dated, lack good cushioning for comfort, and most importantly feel weak for bigger guys (300+ pounds). I wish theyd mix in /add a few sturdy chairs.
Friendly staff. Excellent service and delicious and large portions.
Racist and discriminatory. They will never receive my business again.
I havent eaten here in a few years so I cant really talk about the food quality. But the night life is pretty good, it is usually pretty packed on the weekends. It gets a bit too loud, and crowded for my taste though. Also the drinks are pretty expensive. But overall if youre looking for a nice bar with lots of people I suggest this place.
Had an amazing Thai Chicken Sandwich with fries.
Stopped by for a work lunch. Attentive service for the most part; our server wasnt overly friendly but was there for refills and to see if we needed anything. The wait was short and the food was very good; a burger for me and a sandwich for my colleague. The sweet potato fries that came with my burger was a definite plus!
Great atmosphere and amazing food. It does get a bit loud but its a pub what do you expect. It has a fun atmosphere and the staff are very attentive. The food is delicious and if something is not right its no questions asked they will fix it.
One of the best outdoor happy hours on the strip. Decent grub. Free wings at the bar during games is a plus. Just upped my rating an additional star! For the great service and Nice happy hour prices. My four year old loves their mozzarella sticks.
Really good burgers! Nice place to meet up with friends. My brother-in-law suggested this restaurant, glad we did, we were very pleased. Our server was great as well, I wish I could remember her name.
Love, love, love this place. Seriously missing the old menu, happy hours and ladies night. Prices really escalated during Covid, quite a bit more than similar places nearby. Went there for wing week. The Korean BBQ wings were amazing! They are not on the regular menu but they can make them even if its not wing week.
Great bar food. It has better quality than a regular bar food. I bring a lot of clients over there and they love it, really cool wood design with different levels. They have done a great job with the CDC guidelines.
Great bartenders and a great selection of beers on tap. The restaurant is big with outdoor seating in the front and the back. The food is very good, a nice variety of bar food and more. Never had a problem with the staff, they are always welcoming and courteous.
Everything way too expensive. Paid $12 for 6 mediocre cheese sticks. Burger was good, but not $17 good. 1 domestic beer is basically same price as a 6 pack.Dont bother unless youre fine spending $50 for mediocrityAtmosphere was very fun though. Security was on top of problem patrons.
Christopher our server was very lovely, he is an awesome server. You can tell he actually cares about the customers. Servers nowadays just care about the money but he made sure we had great service and everything we needed.
Went two days ago. Hadnt been in since before pandemic. Seems like service and food has gone down. Ordered a specific item on the menu which was missing a key ingredient. The response I received was that the kitchen and the manager apologized. It would have been nice if they tried to remake a portion of the meal to get it right or at least adjust the bill.
I was pleasantly surprised by the Fox. I was expecting a typical bar/pub menu and instead found a mix of old favorites and unexpected treats. Dietary needs made it necessary to order off menu and was happily accomodated by the friendly staff and kitchen. I cant wait to go back especially after my dietary restrictions are lifted so I can explore the menu more.Brunch at the Brazen Fox, wow!
The atmosphere was always good there, but the service at the top where they have parties was a little bit slow and not to attentive and the staff not really as professional as they use to be. The food was okay chips were stale and hard, nothing was really fresh. I guess my next Christmas Party will be somewhere else.
Shepards pie, Mediterranean chicken, spinach and artichoke dip and a huge pretzel 🥨. All great!!! Nice ambiance, not over crowded. A jack and coke and a Moscow mule paired up nicely.
Food is very decent. Their service staff seems to always be on top of things and are friendly.
Terrible experience! Rude and slow staff.First of all they gave me a hard time about my service dog and asked some personal questions about why I have him. They then sat me in an outside corner away from the patio even though there were plenty of open tables. It took a while to get service. When we finally did we asked for one of the orders (a quesadilla from the appetizer menu) to be brought out immediately because the person ordering it couldnt stay long. All the orders were brought out but 45 minutes later there was still no quesadilla and we couldnt find the waiter. When we got him we asked for it to be brought out quickly/in a box. He then went and chatted at 4 tables before going into the kitchen. It took another 10 minutes for him to come out with that. Very disappointed in the service.
Nice place, good beer selection. Had the 90 min Dogfish Head, which is hard to find on tap.Had a very good burger with it.Beware of the parking, feed the meters. Got a ticket while there... They are hunting for victims...
Went for Sunday night football & had an amazing time. Good prices and great service. Will be back again.
Ordered nachos. Good size portion and guacamole ans sour cream came on the side. Served in a cast iron skillet, so it stayed warm whilebI atr it. Staff was prompt, courteous, and efficient.
Sidewalk cafe and bar, indoor and outdoor seating available, including an outdoor deck or sidewalk seating. Service was courteous and they have a varied menu including weekend brunch and happy hour food and drink specials. They also offer high-chairs, crayons and a kids menu, for those dining with children
People were very nice here. Burger was good, beer was cold! They didnt have the outside open on the day I went but we were fine inside. I understand people are still cautious eating in. Support your local restaurants if you can.
Food was very tasty but I suggest you eat earlier in the evening as we were towards the end of service and the restaurant/bar was undergoing its transformation to night time.Service was friendly though and very efficient as they wanted us to move ahead of the DJ starting.
The menu was limited at this time but there was variety and both our lunches were delicious. The staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and prompt with food, drinks and additional items needed. We ate outdoors and there was a large hand sanitizing station that was used often by all staff.
Came here on Dec 3, 2021Service was great. Food was great. Atmosphere was phenomenal. Would highly recommend. Just a heads up: no happy hour in December. I will be back.
Nice looking place, but weekends are for the college aged adults and early 30 year olds, so a lot of sloppy drinkers and rudeness.....be forwarned....
I have been there during night time. It can get crowded on Friday/Saturday. Usually a DJ comes to play, but honestly I haven’t really enjoyed. It doesn’t seem to have a other place to compete as a club arround the area tho.
Awesome food, great drinks and super friendly staff. Definitely a wonderful place to visit in White Plains, especially during COVID on a nice day. They have some great outdoor seating and following all proper safety protocols.
The Brazen Fox hosted my “Welcome Dinner” and did a GREAT JOB! We did appetizers and cash bar and were so satisfied. The bartender was so accommodating and kind to our guests. They let you bring dessert into the parlor room, too.
Due to COVID-19, the menu was limited and quite understandable, seating provided outside and indoors, very comfortable, however our waitress was not helpful, acted like she didnt know what was on the menu nor cared to go ask someone to help out or find out. It was our first time there so it was a turn off. Might go back and hopefully get a different experience with another, kinder waitress. #Kindnessiskey
SO TASTY! Had the Chicken Martini entrée and it. was. mouthwatering. I fell in love with the white wine sauce and the meal all together made me want to marry it. Would recommend.
I was immensely impressed with the sea bass entrée! Excellent quality and taste at a good price! It outshined any upscale seafood restaurant I have had sea bass at. The Brazen Fox surprises in all the good ways. Thanks for a super enjoyable meal!
Always a good vibe. Easy to meet people and have a great time. Definitely one of the top choices if youre in the area.
I called 20 minutes before going, because I read online Saturday brunch gets pretty busy, the hostess said (along the lines) Come, we will find a table for you. Surely my mother and I arrived around 12:30on and we asked to sit outside in the back patio. I loved it. It was not overly crowded. Our server gave up water and suggested some cocktails for us. I ordered the French toast and a grand slam. The food took longer expected to come out, it was worth it!
The employees at Brazen Fox always gives great service - service with a smile. Today I ordered lunch for my co-worker and myself and somehow I did not get my fries, so I call them back. Angela answered the phone - they not only gave me the fries for free, Alex brought them to my office. I truly appreciate the special service. Hope your boss gives you a star today. That is true customer service.
Food was average fare, which is fine, but the outdoor seating and terrific service is why its a good meeting place
I like The Brazen Fox. The food is pretty good, they have a reasonable selection of beers on tap and bottled, as well as a fully-stocked bar. It gets packed (and therefore rather noisy) pretty regularly, but its a good place to catch a game or get a group together. The menu is reasonably priced ($11-$25 for most) and drinks are $5-$8 for most drinks. (As of this review, of course.)Definitely worth checking out and a different experiences from the strip of bars across the street.
After waiting one hour to get a table, we came back to see what was the hold up , and saw three empty tables. The hostess LIED about attempting to call us and crossed our name off the list. Perhaps she didnt want our type. Then we waited an extremely long time to get our orders placed and receive our meal, much longer than the few other patrons there at that time of night by the time we were finally seated. Oh and my medium well steak came in super well done, almost burned and the mashed potatoes taste like plastic. First and last time going there.
Seamus was awesome He moved tables around to accommodate my father( Kerry man) in a wheelchair Service and food was excellent We will be back !
This place wouldve been amazing only if the bartender outside was NOT so racist. I do understand that he gets busy at the bar. But then theres a way to talk to your costumers. And the way he presented himself could really effect the restaurants business.
Its all right, food wise. Breakfast didnt have the use of real eggs, and dinner is just a little bit better. Come here when they have a DJ and it turns into a mini dance hall at night on weekends. Then its worth it.
Huge bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere. Friendly service and wide selection on the menu and at the bar. Good for families and for young people hanging out on the weekend.
Excellent Tuesday girls lunch. Salmon was perfect with fresh mango. Cobb salad was also delicious. Service was great and professional! Will definitely come back next time in White Plains.
Went to the White Plains location for lunch with my coworkers - we all ended up with food poising the next day. someone should really look into what the hell is going on in the kitchen to make people this sick. Dont even want to think about it. 🤢 I only gave it 2 stars because i enjoy it for happy hour and the vibe is great - just dont eat there!
One thing that drives me crazy while eating out is when bus boys take your order without asking if you are finished and not being informed of what is considered “happy hour”. I went out to catch up with a co-worker of mine and when we ordered our second round of drinks somehow the bus boy took our drinks without us looking.I would have told my waitress about the issue, however, I did not want to get a third drink while i had to drive home. It would have beeb helpful from the waitress to inform me what drinks were included for happy hour; I wasted $20 on drinks that I could not fully enjoy.Brazen management you need to train your staff how to communicate with your customers. I feel the industry just wanted my money not caring if we were even satisfied.Such a shame
This was my 2nd time going there for Happy hour and both experiences were great. Today our waiter Aiden was amazing. Will definitely go back.
Brazen Fox is a great atmosphere for dining and nightlife. I just need to give my gratitude to the manager Julianna. I had lost my wallet in white plains on a night out, I did not even go to Brazen that night, but someone must have returned it and brought it to her. Julianna reached out to me on social media about my wallet, which had my whole life inside 😩 (my lesson learned). But what a blessed soul she is to contact me about my belongings. This moment gave good people a Golden Medal of Honor. Thank you to the person who returned my wallet and thank you Julianna for getting in touch with me about it.
My throat hurt due to having to scream over the noise to my table mates. Way to loud for dinner but if your in your 20s abd want to drink and shout...ho here.
This restaurant had a calm and cool environment during my visit. The food was pretty good and they had craft beers. The waitress and the service was excellent. Prices were typical and competitive.
I was rather disappointed with The Brazen Fox. While the staff was friendly enough, and its a good place to watch football, the menu is limited and the food not especially great. I opted for the fish and chips, normally a pub staple, and while these werent bad, they certainly were not good either. Most of what was on the menu was typical brunch omelette type things, none of which seemed especially impressive either.
This venue does not serve up your typical bar food. Its a great spot for a first date, client lunches or late night dancing. My favorite dishes are the beet salad or salmon
Solid White Plains nightlife spot on Mamaroneck Strip of bars. Nearby parking lot ➕ structure 2 out the rear entrance. Usually busy every Thurs, Fri & Sat nights. Fast & friendly service w deep selection @ bar. Food is decent but recommend eating elsewhere 1st & hitting this place for drinks & dancing after. Covered/heated outdoor smoking porch out back w its own bar when busy enough & live musical entertainment sometimes. Good times is the norm.
It was our first time there for a private event and the Penne Ala Vodka was really good. I was very impressed with everything there. The service of the staff was great, the everything was clean and even the bathroom. 2 👍👍☝️ to this establishment.
If I could make the rating 0 stars I would. They dont even deserve the 1. Service was absolutely terrible. The waitress was too busy talking to other employees then taking care of us. I had to ask the hostess for our drinks. The manager came by and we explained the terrible experience and he took off the 14$ in drinks but then added a meal we didnt even order for 14$... My husband and I find this strange. We are not the types to ask for a manager, if you can avoid this place please do.
The Atmosphere was really nice The bartenders was awesome and I had a nice time.
Classic establishment that has variety of drinks and fare to quench anyone. Great interior look and feel, fun atmosphere, cool vibe about the place. Out back is an awesome area to drink and eat and a solid choice when the wather warms up
A friend had an event there in the downstairs room. The event was very nice. The space is great for small gatherings. The food was delicious. Im thinking of having my grandsons graduation party here.
This is the best restaurant in downtown White Plains. I have never been disappointed with any of my visits. Great menu, drinks and ambiance. A choice of indoor or outdoor seating and very attentive service makes this establishment a must visit.
Great place for a quick bite and a few beers on your way back from upstate New York to the city
I like this place. I lot young people, the service its great, the drinks are great! But the dj always play the same playlist. If you go so many times like me, you can discover which hour is by the song the dj is playing.
The atmosphere is nice but the food is alright. Service was great. We have visited a few times so it is at least worth returning.
I really enjoyed this place the manager Neal was super nice extending himself and interacting with all his customers the staff where all on point and attentive to everyones needs, the food was very good however smallish portions. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. 👍
The bar was understaffed. Myself and three of my friends planned on grabbing quic food and drinks here but we were disappointed. The bartender only set one place mat and provided only one menu. The food was subpar to say the least. I started with apps and I finished with them since they were so disappointing.
Got food and relax atmosphere
Food there really good especially the wings, and Nachos, also recommend the curly fries, wait staff was excellent, never had to wait to be served. Good selections of beers.
Excellent service! Great food too! Only terrifying thing was the hostile waitress who came into my bathroom, embarrassed me, and yelled at me because I didnt know how to lock the broken lock. She was hiding when I got out, but I made sure to find her and check her because nasty, Antisocial Personally Disordered people should not be allowed near people unless fellow inmates. The witch could try knocking next time. Once they get rid of her, a full 5 stars but customers need to know. Youll notice Madam Perm-A-Frown. Everyone else is a joy!
Nice place- love the outdoor bar and lounge area - food was just okay but the table service was amazing! By midnight the bar was packed 4 deep and impossible to get next to though - would come back for dinner and drinks again at a table though
Brazen is casual, pub type food, you can eat at the Bar or Table or Outside (yes they have service). They are inexpensive and you can stay as long as you like! Upstairs, there are large long tables for groups and its easy to park in the lot right behind them.I like the Sliders, Quesadillas, Salads and Beefed Up Sandwiches. 4 stars because even when they arent busy, your food could take awhile.
My friend got robbed INSIDE THE BAR and the bouncers/security treated the matter as if it were a joke. If you in anyway, shape or form care about your safety or personal belongings, you will not come here. I am absolutely disgusted by the way management handled the situation! The HEAD OF SECURITY told me that, “I’m not showing anyone my camera’s without a warrant!” This is because they do not ID and are afraid of losing their liquor license due to serving minors.. Once I told them that I had contacted the state police, they insisted against it and tried to force us to go to go the White Plains police! They must have some kind of arrangement! It wasn’t until I made it clear that my attorney had been contacted and that we would be pursuing a warrant that they showed any type of “urgency” for the situation!
As true of an Irish pub setting outside of Ireland I have ever been to. Great service and excellent food. The shepherd pie is incredible.
Not the best, but definitely not the worst. Owned by the same guys who have a bar on Mclean Ave in Yonkers, so if youre familiar with that one, you can kinda tell where the look of this place comes from. Only difference is, instead of hardcore Irish, you get the Jersey Shore wannabes in hoards, or the straight after work types. The clientele can get a bit obnoxious, but the bartenders are nice, usually, and will be on top of things, despite how rude people can be to them and distract them from you ordering. Fun is had, but crowds can get a bit out of hand on weekends. The outside bar in the back is a nice change of pace if you dont want to be hovered over the entire night by anyone wanting drinks every five seconds inside.
The only reason why i rate it 3 stars is because it was a Tuesday night and it was very slow not that many customers. However I do know that on the weekend it is really good with a big crowd but that is just the weekend. It is not a bad location it is unique in its own way also with friendly staff.
Loved it.. 1st time there..wont be the last. Great food!
