Hotel Wichita Falls I-44 at Maurine St

Horrible ownership all the Hindu people that run this place are rude and unprofessional they do not need your money or time Im paid by Google to review everywhere I go and this place is 0 Stars Im from California staying here for 6 days the lady has a nasty attitude I told her not to clean my room all I need is new towels and toilet paper and soap and shampoo she said no!!! If you need more go to the store and get more. Old rooms nasty attitude not worth it spend your money and time elsewhere. All you hear is the door blowing open wind coming in super loud all day and night TV sucks channels suck everything is broken the first night I stayed was on the first floor and it rained hard my room was flooded 😭😭💔

Stayed here for the Hotter n Hell 100 2023 and it was totally fine. Room was clean and cool in 100 degree weather. Manager Bobby was very pleasant and accommodating. Its obviously not a fancy hotel but definitely serves its purpose. It was also surprisingly quiet. I hope this review helps you make a realistic decision versus the other reviews, cheers!

I had paid for the room when I made the reservation by phone. When I arrived, they tried to charge me more. I had been assured there was breakfast, as stated in their ad. No breakfast. I was told there was an elevator. No elevator. The TV didnt work, and no effort was made to make it work. I couldnt get hot water, but maybe it was just too slow to come.

Absolutely disgusting. The floor probably hasnt been mopped in a month or more. The shower has black gross stuff all over the outer edge of it. I about threw up when I saw it Im certainly not going to take a shower in that shower. Im going to go to sleep Im going to wake up Im going to get the out of here. Thankfully I found no bed bugs but this room doesnt even have basic cleaning its like the housekeeper came in made the bed put the pillows in the right spot put some soap out and then left. Its absolutely disgusting. The sad part is I requested to be put in a different room after I saw the first room. I dont understand how it can be this gross. It makes me sick that Im going to actually spend the night here.... even the countertops had sticky stuff on them.

Do not stay at this property, I went through a booking source, I paid at the motel, motel notified booking that I was a no show, charging my cc $49.00 plus $45.80 cancelation fee

1. Greeted with Do I have to wait on you attitude. 2. Many rules posted about not smoking within 20 feet of room doors, but cigarette butts all over the parking area and many in front of our door. Cigarette smell in our room. 3. Signs posted about no loud music. A resident sitting on stairs right outside our door, smoking and listening to music which we could hear in our room. 5. Room screamed of cheap and fleabag motel. 6. Questionable clientele. We did not feel safe and worried about our car. 7. this is the one that was the last straw. No toilet paper!Went to office to get refund and male told us it wasnt his responsibility to make people follow the rules. Did get refund after some arguing back and forth. Most disgusting experience of the trip. If I could I would give minus stars.

The room was very hot the air conditioner did not work well at all. the bathroom door would not latch so you had no privacy and the room stunk like old smoke. But pillows where soft

The front desk man is very nice and always very helpful. I do stay there often. I recommend the oyo off of Maurine St. Thats the one I like and staff is always friendly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND OYO off of Wolcott the woman owner is very very rude. She tried to over charge us. She asked to see what I paid online and said we. Couldnt stay there for the price we paid. She said I make price she told us to cancel on line and to pay directly with her. So we left and never will go back . So thank you OYO on Maurine street for always being so kind to me and my family.

When I arrived at this location and I was greeted with like why are you bothering me, I told the night clerk that I had a reservation for a queen bed room and he was not friendly about this reservation. I got my room key and went to my room well at 2 am in the morning I felt something biting me, and it itched and made welts on my body. It bed bugs I called the front desk and all he could say is that he could put me in another room. I declined because I didnt want to go to another room for the thought of there might be bed bugs in that room. If I had a vehicle I would have requested my money back and left. However I was in a position to where I had no where else to go. I went to the office the next morning with no sleep and I kind of thought they would have been more hospitable. So I filed a complaint with the city of Wichita Falls.

NO WAY WE ARE STAYING THERE! there were poorly patched BULLET HOLES in the wall, and big bleach stains on 2 places in the carpet. ....hmmmm. wonder what they were trying to bleach out?!We walked in, looked at the room, and LEFT QUICKLY. we have our 8 year old daughter with us. Not just no!

This location was good for the price. However the houston location by the airport leaves much to be desired. The rooms had roaches all over due to bags of trash left in the halls. The first room we got had no running water in the sink, no tv, and the air was just a trickle. There was part of a condom wrapper left on the floor the maids dont know how to clean the surfaces either. There was an oily substance on the nightstands that I dont want to imagine what it was. The 2nd room we got was a little better due to running water in the sink and a tv. The air still barely worked and there was ashes all over both rooms. To top it off our rooms were on the 3rd and 4th floors and the elevator was out. Guest laundry was inoperable and also full of trash. Save your money. Go somewhere else

Horrible. There were people arguing and fighting all night. My daughter was afraid to go to sleep thought people would break in. Had to stay awake to comfort her. There were little bugs ( type of fly ) all over the sink. Linens had cigarette burns. Not happy with it at all, but it was a last minute thing and I was hours away from home. The only reason why it got 2 stars is because the bathroom was actually clean.

There lucky I even gave them one the room smelled like cigeretts. There were no cups no ice buckets no acomadations for disabled people. The room was dirty very small for having 2 beds the towels were like useing sand paper almost fell in shower no non skid tub very slippery dog piss on the bathroom just plain filth not even sure it was even cleaned.

Rooms are dirty, The app does not allow you to talk to anyone that speaks clear English, the onsite employees will not be able to assist you with OYO money from the app. [OYO Townhouse is much better and cheaper in the long run.] Do not use the app. The room had underwear under the bed, A syringe, and adult magazines. There was not a clean tub, towels were stained, toilets were rusted. Patched up holes were in the door and walls. The bed is a metal spring bed and very uncomfortable. There was 1 & 1/2 of a pillow, no working smoke detectors, microwave did not have rotating plate to use it. Stairs are not conveniently located, bad area to leave anything in your car, and customer service will not refund your money and will charge you over and over until you stop it. Do not pay for a room on the app. The first time the younger girl in the evening was tremendous and made you forget how bad the room was. Customer service was not there on the second time around. We presented the issues at check out and it was made into a joke. No apologies or refunds were made. No open pool, no free breakfast, and WiFi is slow. I highly suggest Townhouse on the other side of town or to go to the Executive Inn across the street. (Behind the Oyo on Maurine Street)

The staff is always nice and helpful. I stay here frequently. Its usually clean and when I NEEDED a downstairs room they were very accommodating! They were all full except a handicap room and they let me have it. Thanks guys!

Walked into the room to be greeted by pens gags. Long metal rods that go into the urethra of a males pens. I looked them up after seeing them. Staff was EXTREMELY unfriendly, especially the handicapped security guard. They also had a brothel going on in one of the rooms. It was decked out in cowboys merchandise outside. Terrible terrible hotel. Ive never experienced service like this at a hotel. I wouldnt besurprised if this place gets shut down and the employees go to jsil.

Non smoking room was so smoky. Smelled like it had been smoked in for years and made it extremely hard to breathe. Hot water didn’t work in room. When I complained to management they did nothing.

Stayed during the hotter than he’ll bike ride. Room was clean, new carpet and new bathtub insert in the bathroom. Beds were clean and bedding looked new.

You should know there are trains that come through and can be heard from this motel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It was a little worn in (furniture and bed were old). It wasn’t a comfortable sleep, especially since we could hear the trains. But it will do in a pinch and they seem to be taking covid precautions.

The owner Bobby is not a good guy. He told me I could not be on the property for no reason at all I have friends that stay there. I even stayed there for awhile. I would not recommend this place at all. If you can’t can’t go and see friends are family that happen to be there with out being harassed bye Bobby and told he’s going to call a tow truck to come get it are the cops for no reason at all. I will be calling the corporate office on this matter.

Its a great budget motel. Mostly in good repair, clean, no vermin or bedbugs. The people were nice and they were pet friendly.

The room was clean and smelled fresh. No Frills place to stop. That means no coffee in the room or in the lobby, or breakfast. Price was affordable. Gentleman at the desk was very helpful.

Very worst place to stay night. The room is totally not clean and smell weed. Paid the $$ before seeing room but the cashier don’t want to refund even the room was so dirty. Very rude

My room, and the service was gud. But the man who works the front desk at nite was very rude, and disrespectful...He needs to learn hie to talk to customers.

Staff was so nice. Never had a problem with them or other guests. The staff didnt hesitate to help with anything I asked. Would definitely recommend this hotel location!!

Place was affordable and very clean and nice. We will definitely stay at OYO again from now on! Happy couple here!

Older but not bad. Our room ac would not stay on even in the “on” mode and not auto. Made for a slightly warm night to sleep.

I mean it was a cheap room that did amazingly what we needed on our long trip a place to sleep. It was clean beds were terrible but it was sleep.

I got no sleep and a vacuum was running all night. The plugs are worn and they would not stay plugged in

Needless to say the room was dirty it was 34 dollars on there website and they charged me 57 dollars avoid this place at all cost its not worth it and you wont get your money after you pay.

Room was hot & never would cool down , Horrible service , maintenance man & the guy working night shift disrespected My girl & I .

Rude staff, no help in rectifying issues, and outright lazy lackadaisical efforts. Ended up leaving and canceling without even staying there.
