This is the cleanest OYO in Wichita Falls, Texas. The lady at night (with the baby) kept me coming back and worked hard to make sure we were happy with our stay. Has laundry room, very roomy, quiet rooms, and air conditioning works well. Pillows aren’t the best and there isn’t free breakfast, but it’s within walking distance to a grocery store and a Taco Bell. Best price for a quality stay is Monday-Thursday for $49.99. You won’t get this pricing through the app. You’ll need to go in person to reserve the room. Vending machine by the elevator hardly works. Ice machine is on the first floor. Stairs only go up to the second floor. I love this place!
To the goofy person who said there were bedbugs and left a photo, that is silly. That is a mosquito and what looks to be lint. Now technically a mosquito is a bug and it was on the bed, but that is NOT a bedbug! I always check mattress for bedbugs and found nothing. I got this OYO hotel for $35 having reserved a week in advance. I figured if it was horrible I was only out 35 bucks and would stay elsewhere. But to my surprise, it really its pretty nice!! The rooms are decent, clean, and the location feels safe as it is located next to another big hotel. Yeah the furniture could use some updating (and maybe some dusting) and the appliances arent top of the line, but hey all I wanted was a decent place to stay on a long trip. What I got was a pretty nice place, it aint the Ritz, but it sure aint a dive. I would definitely stay here again, but wouldnt pay more than $80 for a weeknight unless it was a special event. At $80 this would be a 3 to 4 star, at $100 I would have given a 3 star (for travelers that should make sense). The staff was nice and very professional, Brenda checked me in and it was super fast and easy. Brenda was knowledgeable about OYO which was neat and in the future I will give them a try again. I reserved thru Expedia, overall very easy and I didnt have to pay until I got in. They also have neat text messaging alerts and confirmations set up which was really cool. The yellowish photo was due to my camera flash. There is a little noise as my room is right next to the lobby but it isnt too bad. I had a little issue using my room key and the manager helped me right away and was very polite. Overall, I would recommend this place. It isnt one of my hidden gems, but it certainly is a great deal.
Photos were deceiving, or our room was the only one not remodled. My bedding was disgusting and sticky, so I asked for new ones from the front desk.. they were rolled up in a ball, and after putting them on the bed, I realized they were ripped and stained. The walls had spots of who knows what, and the outlets were broken and cracked. Even walking to the room, the hall floors were filthy. I would not recommend staying here.
Rooms were lacking something... Felt like it wasnt as clean or as impressive as the photos advertising them. Felt like front desk was hoping to keep the deposit and would never mention it until you bring it up yourself. Almost seemed disappointed that I asked for it back. A friend atayed prior to my visit and did not get the deposit back and it was never offered or room inspected.
I am a business traveler and typically at Days Inn or LaQuinta. This was the worst experience I have EVER had at any Wyndham locations! The third day I wanted to make sure I retained my room so I call into Wyndham and paid for my reservation. When I returned and went to pick up my keys, the manager told me I had been smoking in the room ( I dont smoke) and that I would have to leave in a elevated voice, in the lobby, in front of other quests and staff. I quietly left humiliated so I called reservations. They called they same manager and was met with the same rudeness! When I asked for a refund, I was told they dont issue refunds.*** I work for a corporation and theres 10 of us un the road 3/4 of the time. I have made the recommendation that NO employee stay at ANY Wyndham hotel/resorts again and its under serious consideration. That would equate to over $80,000.00 a year in lost revenue. Thats not to mention unknown lost revenue because of one poor choice in management and lack of empathy from Wyndham. GREAT BUSINESS DECISION WYNDHAM!!!!
OYO townhouse is the way to go! This was the nicest one Ive been to yet. The cost was great and room was super clean. They go above and beyond to help during these crazy times. Computer worked great with no issues printing permits. Well be back!
I was traveling 6hrs from Houston TX with 3 little kids and was booked a room on the 3rd floor. Got a noise complaint after being there 5 minutes from stomping, but none of us were. We had to go to bed early to ensure that there was no more complaints. The staff should book families with little children on the 1st floor to minimize this issue, I was highly upset about the situation.
Great place to stay! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Both my wife and I travel for our jobs and at times can be a real pain, but this hotel made it so easy for us... Thank you Mike, and your staff for making your guest feel like family!
Horrible! First I noticed was that there were used towels in our restroom. The customer service is really horrible! When we came back after hours the room wasn’t cleaned and we didnt have any fresh towels/blankets! The cleaning lady was just taking her time and was on the phone. I’m very disappointed and won’t ever come back!
Travelers beware!!. whole top floor (3rd) filled w pot smoke.. Rooms pretty rundown since no longer Baymont..(which is who we used to deal with) Decided to checkout and was told we would have to deal with Expedia for refund even though we paid them. They lied to Expedia said they gave us our refund. They didn’t. When called them said we would have to deal with corporate office in India!! Ridiculous!!!
A wonderful stay and the staff is world class. WiFi, business office (with printer) is a very nice touch. Obviously due to this virus the pool is closed and breakfast is limited however the cleanliness is amazing.
Wifi is trash. The staff are friendly though. Beds are comfortable, cleaning is thorough. Room phone didnt work but no big deal.
Stain sheets cleaning people not wearing mask not wearing gloves. Not invited to come in no greetings ckeck out no mask no gloves not caring about conid 19 had to sanitized are one room twice she come in are room when we had the keys
Not too fancy but it is clean. Stayed on the bottom floor and each morning at 0445 there was a lot of noise coming down the stairs. Besides that, good value for the money.
My only complaint is that they advertise that the pool is now open on the sign placed outside. Yes the pool is open for 1 room to reserve for 1 hour only. That means that out of all the folks that are staying here the pool can only be used by 12 guest in an entire day! The temperature outside was over 100° today and i certainly didnt want to swim in an indoor heated pool!
Got a sweet that was super nice for less then a 100.00 thats 2 rooms 2 queen size deds for the kid and my own room for me and my wife I will be back
Very clean rooms, and bathroom was cleaned well. The service has always been good.
