Absolutely horrible! From customer service (there is none!) to dirty and unsafe rooms. Walked in and the girl at the front goes What?! The room #128, literally has no smoke detector and where it was supposed has exposed live wires. Also, the sheets were dirty and had burnt cigarette markings, rusted holes in the tub, and some of the lights dont work. We left and canceled our reservations in less than 10 mins!
I checked in the lady was nice, I walked in the room is smelled so bad it hurt my lungs the carpet looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in 40 years I walked in the restroom and it was falling apart I went turned the key back in and was prompted since I paid up front for a week they had to charge me at least 1 day would highly not recommend staying here
Walked into the room the smell of cleaning supplies was so strong we had to open the window. The bed literally sunk to the middle there were stains on the bedding. There was something splattered on the was and bleach on the carpet, mold on the shower curtain. The door looked like it was once kicked in and once the smell of cleaning supplies wore off it smelled like mildew smelt bad the bedding also had a odd smell. Definitely dont recommend staying at this hotel it was nasty and the trains were loud early in the morning.
TERRIBLE. I stayed there two weekends. The first weekend was fine we paid $94 for two nights in a decent room. I stayed one night this weekend and paid $58. They would not let me pay card only cash, however my boyfriend paid card the weekend prior and they took it. The room stunk like cigarettes and was dirty. The workers barely speak English and I could hardly understand any of them. There were dead crickets in the bathroom, and no hand soap. The door handles were missing on both sides of the bathroom door. Overall you get what you pay for but for $58 I at least expected door handles in the bathroom. I would not shower in that shower due to how dirty it was. Very disappointed. Do not go here.
One of the worst hotel experiences Ive ever had. After paying my $25 deposit, that had to be in cash, we went to the door of our room and our entry card didnt work. Got the lady at the front desk (very pleasant) to help us. Her master key also didnt work. We were given a room on the opposite side of the hotel, so loaded up the car and went around. As we drove around, there was a bit of a suspicious man sitting outside of his car in a chair, and several minutes later a woman came from the back side of the dumpster. Not sure what she was up to. We had to lean into the door to get it to open. The loud scraping noise of the door Im sure wasnt pleasant for the others staying there. Once in the room, the tv was still on, and the room wreaked of smoke and and aromatic effort to cover up the smoke. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The bathtub, as you can see in the attached picture, was extremely dirty, and all that was provided was one bottle of hand cream, no soap or shampoo. THere were stains one the carpet including a significant bleach stain. Im assuming housekeeping hadnt been to the room after the last customer, but the bathtub hadnt been cleaned in a LONG time. After several minutes in the room I was starting to get a soar throat from the air quality in the room. We had to leave and get another room. Fortunately one was available. Im glad I was able to get a clean with clean air as I was riding in the Hotter N Hell 100 early the next morning.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Came to town for the Hottern Hell 100. The room we were given had a broken lock and the key wouldnt work. The front desk woman tried her keys and the lock was simply dead. Maintenance was not availble to repair it. She gave us another room but said it was her last room and there was another reservationn so she didnt know what she was going to do. The room we were given smelled very strongly of smoke, the tub was filthy, the door had been busted in and barely opened and closed (you could see the indentations on the door) and there was a man camping out of his car in the back parking area. Needless to say, we did not want to stay... the manager refused to grant a refund but offered us another room instead (after we were told there were no other rooms available).
Its an older motel but it was not keep up well. (Hardware missing fom the sink and the tub) no soap. Not enough outlets for Electronics. Tv problems. If the hotel had alittle more pride in the property and more friendly staff, some problems could be overlooked.
Worst place Ive ever stayed. And Ive stayed at some pretty poor locations.Non smoking room that smelled like smoke. Cigarette burns on the sheets. Smoke detector missing. TV did not work. Faucets in shower were coming off. Not even a waste basket in the room. Door lock broken. Called the front desk multiple times, no answer. The worst part was the lady at the counter treated me horrible. She would just walk away behind the wall while in the middle of conversation? The reappear to continue to nearly yell at me. I even asked her why she was so angry.Evrn the second story railing was broken and in threat of falling down. Empty and filthy pool.Unpalatable poor customer service.Save your money. Pay a few dollars more and save frustration.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences Ive ever had. To start, the receptionist was quite rude and made his disdain for my online reservation very apparent. The OYO website and app where I made my reservation said I would be able to use a credit or debit card for the $100 security deposit, but the staff insisted that I had to pay a $10 cash deposit, and would not honor my prepaid reservation unless I went to an ATM and got him a cash deposit. In the room, only two of the four lamps had working bulbs. The TV remote was not programmed correctly, and would not turn the TV on/off or change the volume. The shower needed significant cosmetic repair, and the handle was broken so the direction for hot and cold water was a complete guessing game. The hot water only lasted a couple of minutes and then I did not have hot water again for the entire stay, either in the shower or sink, and the shower would not shut back off so the water dripped annoyingly all night. When I called the front desk, it appeared as though a child answered the phone; I asked for the wifi password, and the person on the phone had to ask someone nearby (presumably an adult) what the correct code was. There was construction being done on a nearby room with excessively loud power tools that did not start until about 8 pm and continued late into the night that disrupted my sleep. The door seemed to be very insecure and had light coming through the side edge. The cleaning service barged into the room without warning, before checkout, and was able to open the door enough to completely disrespect my privacy even with all the locks locked. As I checked out, part of my security deposit was not returned because of a surprise charge I was not notified of. Neither of the two receptionists I encountered were wearing any kind of mask, even with signs stating that both staff and customers were required to.
They couldnt find my reservation had to wait for 10 minutes before they could check me in there was no hair dryer there was no refrigerator it wasnt working I was supposed to have a king bed I got to queen beds there was no ice
I stayed here for a month. I was a bit skeptical at first but my stay was good. Rooms could use a bit of remodeling but the price was worth it. You get what you pay for. Back of the hotel is a bit shady as it’s a bit secluded. No cameras FYI. Customer service was great, Paula is a terrific!
If theres has minus star I would rate then minus. When I checked in the woman was rude, never smile and gave me wrong room key so I accidentally entered the vacant room then she changed the room that had broken door I didnt know how to open it. I was so mad I run up and down for it but they didnt change another room for me. ok fine! The room is non smoking but it smells like cigarettes. The carpet in the main room was wet. the fridge was dirty and theres roaches in the room. I had enough. When I checked out the man asked me to write good review for them rudely. Hell no! I am being honest it was the worst hotel you dont ever wanna come back again
I’ve made several attempts trying to get my money back. I paid for the room online to include pet fee. I have the receipt! Got to hotel and was turned away by an extremely rude and disheveled woman at the front desk. “No dogs” she bellowed. Check the security cameras! I’ll wait. They will not answer my calls. Tried contacting Oyo through their automated system as well. No help!Update: The Crazy lady at this hotel is trying to say I didnt check in / No-show. This is clearly not the case. Give me my money back. Plain and simple. That is how you make things right.Final Update: Finally got my money back! I saw it on my credit card statement. This should have never been an issue in the first place. There were NO misunderstandings here, just a rude woman at the front desk who lacks integrity and tried to get away with my money.
One of the worst, if not the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Checking in after hours was a nightmare. The woman said the card reader was broken and demanded cash, I paid online because I didnt have enough cash and she was very upset I was not able to give her any. Not sure where that cash would have ended up. The room had broken faucets, burn holes in the sheets, stains all over, drugs on top of the door frame, a broken smoke detector, live wires behind the bed coming from the wall, the door to outside didnt close properly, and I could probably go on. Worth the $20 extra to stay elsewhere. Surprised the car was all in one piece when we left.
Just checked in. The hotel here is disgusting, there are bugs in the room, the ac was probably not put on in days as it smells in here. The customer service is a joke here, I spoke with Paula twice the past 2 days as she confirmed that I could arrive for an early check in so I’ve accommodated my 10 hour drive here- when I arrived to check in- a very rude Indian woman said that check is not til 3- I tried to explain who I spoke with with the approval she kept dismissing my approach and not even asking me for my name or if I had a reservation and I asked for her name she wouldn’t give it, I told her she was very rude and this doesn’t seem to be a professional establishment, she made a phone call in a different language and had gotten back with me and was very argumentative and had me fill out a form of who I was and my demographics, she kept asking if I already paid- I’ve showed her my emailed receipt through Priceline, she asked me consecutively if I smoke or had animals, She gave me 1 key when there are 2 of us occupying this room.If i didn’t just drive 10 hours, I would have the energy to cancel and check into somewhere else- I am debating canceling this stay here as even the room is falling apart on the inside and nothing about this place is comfortable.Truly disappointed!!!
I have had no problems with my stay even when my booking is having problems they still clear me out and fix it. Watch out because they only accept cash !!!!!! The Receptionist Paula is just a wonderful and respectful person she knows how to make you feel very welcomed and puts up that beautiful smile. Carpets in all the rooms needs to be changed, they are very old and stinks. I don’t mind paying a little bit more but the carpets in all the rooms needs to be changed for ASAP, there has been an upgrade though just a little bit on the furnitures. CHANGE YOUR CARPETS
You get what you pay for. The pictures on the website are complete fantasy. This hotel needs to be inspected by local building and safety code officials. There are fire sprinklers covered with tape, extension cords plugged into extension cords, wires hanging from the wall/lamps. The fawcet in the sink was loose and almost came off. The shower/tub has some sort of patch material around the drain, rust stains and spots on the tub. The doors to enter the ground floor rooms have bare wood repairs around the frames. When I looked on the inside, you can see where the door frame has been broken by forced entry. several times. I was even told that people were breaking into rooms last night. There are opportunities for improvement so say the least. The place needs to be overhauled with some gasoline and a match and/or even a wrecking ball. Either way, I would not recommend that anyone stay here. Not a safe building, not a safe neighborhood.
The motel was terrible. You definitely get what you pay for. The faucet didnt work right, the bath handles were falling apart, NO HOT WATER, and the housekeeping barged in while we were still naked an hour before checkout. Never have I had a worse experience anywhere. Save yourself time and grief and go literally anywhere else in town!
Super sketchy. We rented two rooms. One door didnt need a key to enter, the other door had been kicked in at some point and the frame was all torn off. The pool had green, slimey water full of garbage. Carpet was sticky and the rooms reeked of cigarettes though they were non-smoking. Huge holes in the glass. And some unknown substance that looks like ice cream on curtains. Uncleaned fridge full of items.
We decided to try OYO since we heard good reviews. The other was booked so we decided on this. Stuffy smell in room was made better by turning on A/C, phone was broken and not working, towels were hard, small, and scratchy, so a shower was out of the question. My daughter got bit by a bee in our room and I went to the office to grab a bandaid and Neosporin. The clerk thought it was funny! If we had the money, we would have stayed somewhere else.
If I could give it zero stars I would. The owners were very rude when I came in to check in. My room smelled horrible, the bathroom door was busted, no plug ins to charge my phone near the bed. Worst place I have ever stayed in. I will never stay there again. You can get a much nicer room for the same price. Dont waste your money.!
Well me and my mom and my family booked a room for two nights and then when they were up we paid for a third the owners sent their son up and he told us we never paid and he called us LIARS when my mom showed him the receipt he still persisted we were lying. They have roaches. They are very rude people running that place
The hotel managers were vey rude and demanding! The manager asked to see my phone to view my booking price, then got mad and said i needed to cancel the online booking and pay her cash! In her words I make the price!.
Comfy bed, smelled clean, the door was difficult to open (the knob was kinda jamming) the evening lady at the front desk was super sweet. The morning lady when I checked out was rude. It was 7am and she was asleep.
I booked & paid online ahead. Arrived at the hotel at 10 PM. Had to ring a bell and wait 5 min for the front seat person to come (in his PJs with his belly hanging out) I get my room key, go to the room and the door will not open, it’s locked from the inside, I go back to front desk, ring bell, wait another 5 min, let him know the problem…he said he has no other rooms, I asked if there was already a person in that one and he said he has no idea and for me to cancel my reservation….while I was trying to cancel, another guest came in complaining that his AC did not work…. This place is a DUMP!!!!
I went to Wichita Falls TX for the annual Hotter than Hell 100 bike ride. The stay was a disaster. They would not accept credit card payment and accepted cash only. The air-conditioner did not work so I was given a fan (but I was moved to another room for the second night). The ice machine was broken and the light in the bathroom would not work. Last but not least, the price of the room was $200/night when reserved through Expedia and $230/night when reserved through OYO
After a long road trip I called ahead and reserved a room around midnight. Told the lady I would be there in 30 minutes. When I got to the location there was noone in the office, so no way to get a key. I then had to spend the next hour trying to find a different hotel. Their phone calls seem to go to a different call center. Had my partner call and they hung up on him.
Low rates but cheap customer service. Listed as having a pool but no water in it. We ended up going somewhere else even though we couldn’t get a refund on our room. Don’t recommend
It is just absurd that you are unable to call a guest of your hotel by ringing the front desk and being transfered to the phone in their room. the knowledge of the number of a guests room should be sufficient to call. how do you expect the relatives of your guest to know the booking number? unless you inform the guests at the time they book a room that you would be unable to recieve calls without the booking number id be willing to wager that really very nearly no one ever has that information when attempting to call. a telephone in the room and being able to recieve inbound calls on said telephone is expected. its not even considered an imnenity. the hotel room phone is part of the deal. more than likely its never even a thought to the guests that people will call and not be put through to their room. you need to change this policy. thanks.
This place is nasty and very uncomfortable to stay in. Would not recommend. I paid for 3 nights through booking.com and didn’t even stay an hour. I was promised a refund but never received one. The lady at the front desk was very nice but even she knew this hotel is not somewhere anyone should spend any money. Don’t be like me and waist your money here.
This hotel is a trashy hotel to many things dont work and you bring them up to the people in charge and nothing gets fixed they just ignore you
I have stayed here several times. do not drive tired..This is a goodplace to stay. it is clean. the staff is very polite. You have cable TV. And microwave.. you will enjoy the room.
We got there and toilet was running and shower wouldnt shut off. So they fixed the problem put us in another room the owner was very nice and I give them 5 stars on rating .
It was fineJust far from new
Very nice staffCleanness greatFeel at home...
This place is basically a scam. They’ll tell you your reservation isn’t showing up and pretend to cancel it even though they didn’t ask for the reservation number or anything. Very rude on the phone and not helpful at all. Do not book here.
The toilet over flowed every time you flushed the air conditioner freezes up and flooded the room there was a leak up stairs and flooded bathroom which soaked all my clothes and ruined my clothes 3 different time and Paula the girl in the office takes to much of her meds and goes around accusing everyone of stealing her things and she comes into your room and helps herself to your things anytime she feels like it and she also will go in your room and get your things and hand them out to other guest.... had to stay because I couldnt afford to go anywhere else but I will find Something else or I will sleep in my car atleast then I wont get harrased and my things wont walk away when Im at work
Smelly room, ac had mold and missing knobs, bed was not clean had air dirt ect. Restroom was dirty and their was a huge spider
Worst place ever. Woke up to a BED BUGS and I am and now sleeping in my car for the night. My towels were also dirty so I’m sleeping in my car wet. ZERO STARS. I have pictures of the bed bug!
The owner’s wife is extremely rude, towels are stained with dark colors, cleaning lady tried to clean the room between 8-9 in the morning. Horrible experience!
This place was the biggest mistake of our vacation....DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY we was so scared to stay but everything was booked an it was so late an thank God my car was still there at 7am we wouldnt even bring our bags to the room it was that bad NEVER EVER AGAINTHIS PLACE SHOULD BE TORN DOWN..
No electricity in the bathroom tv didn’t work ceiling looked as if it was falling in a/c didn’t work no microwave the manager told us to go to sleep when I went to tell him the electricity didn’t work in the restroom I couldn’t take a shower plumbing was backed up
These clowns keep emailing me somebody elses information. Receipts, confirmation numbers, names, phone numbers, addresses, etc. Fix your stuff and stop emailing me other peoples information.
The manager Mr.O is very rude and unprofessional, he do not treat customers with respect… but the lady ms. Polla is very helpful nd respectful
The room was very clean and updated! Staff very friendly!!! Safe!I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Do not stay here, this place should be closed down. No hot water poor conditions of the room, and just ran down.
Mr. B has been making his rooms so much better and feels more cozier than before. I love it
Worst hotel experience ever, and I didnt even get passed check in. Id rather sleep in my car than stay at an Oyo hotel.
