This was my mine and fiancé first massage- I had a gift card for a 60min massage and a 30 min rapid tension - we were told we didn’t need to use the rapid tension and could do 2-45 min massages instead and that gift card would cover that. After our great massages - we went to check out with a generous tip in mind and we were told that the manager Morgan said we couldn’t separate it after we were told by massage therapist that we could do just that. The rep Zaharia that checked us out charged me 130 dollars ,we lost out on money we didn’t plan on spending, they didn’t honor the entire gift card. What was supposed to be a relaxing massage was so stressful and all about money ! I called to resolve issue and to speak with manager that they wouldn’t let me speak with at that time when I was there, that supposedly denied the gift card - and was told she isn’t there and works from home. I don’t understand how she denied our gift card from home? We are Very Disappointed.. Money is money you should be able too utilize your gift card however you choose. That’s good customer service. Because of this we will not be going back and the great massage therapist’s lose out on cliental.
Buyer beware! Gift cards are nonrefundable and this location has no availability within 6 weeks for massage—and the place is called massage envy! What a joke. As for the below reply, I already spoke with the franchise location who had no choice but to refuse my request for a refund, but they did have a choice not to be rude about it, which they were. I’m not about to follow a bitly link to no where when my email to your corporate team has already been ignored. Do better.
I made an appointment to get a massage. When I arrived for my appointment on that day/time, I was told they had no appointment set up for me in their system. I was offered an appointment for a facial instead which I declined.
First time here (gift). Sarah was great! Great conversation, great listener, and attentive. Very happy with her service. Would ask for her again. Since this was my first time here and it was a gift, I do not have any of the same comments/concerns about their pricing or customer service.
The staff are generally great, the policies and membership are awful, designed to take your money. I had a membership and gifted my girlfriend an hour and a half, when she arrived they made her pay or were going to charge my account for a late cancelation fee (money not taking my hours). If you still choose them bear in mind, and its not anyones fault, but theres also only about 7 therapists so theres no availability unless you book a month or two in advance. In a year I only had 4 massages that were covered by the membership because I couldnt ever get in (partially my fault because I wouldnt take off from my 9-5 to go).
I would have given a 5 star review, until my recent experience. Their employees and many massage therapists are great. Their lobby, bathrooms, and massage rooms are super clean, and have a good atmosphere (the individual rooms have a slight clinical feel, but I dont mind). Its great that there are so many massage therapist because you have MANY to try, which insures you find the one that best suits you. I also enjoy that they do not use oil, but instead a lotion, which isnt greasy at all, and I have personally had no issues with (and Im pretty sensitive). When you get a membership, it is very well priced; its $65/month which gets you a 1hr massage (I think the regular price is around $90). If you want a second or third massage in the month, its only $45/massage. You can also transfer an hour to someone else if you wish. Say I had been charged for my monthly massage at $65, but I wanted to treat my partner, I could transfer my second hour to his account for $45. There are also Massage Envys all over the country, so you can potentially have an easier time getting a massage while out if town. I honestly had nothing bad to say about them, until recently.Due to covid-19, they sent out an email informing everyone that they could freeze their accounts (which would stop the automatic $65 monthly charge). However, the second half of the email communicated that they would greatly appreciate anyone who could keep their accounts open, to help them through the difficult time of having to shut their doors. Now I havent mentioned that once you open an account, you need to keep it open for at least a year, before your allowd to close it. Taking this into consideration, I figured whether I was charged now or later, ultimately I would pay the same amount for a year regardless of when I was charged. So I thought that continuing my payments would help them out, and I would just freeze my account later (once Id hit a yr) and then use my back hours I had paid for.I just called them last weekend, as I now have 6 months paid through/6hrs of massages! I explained my desire to freeze my account and use my back hours. Well, come to find out, when you freeze your account, you literally cannot use the account at all, which includes the back hours ALREADY paid for! So essentially Im unable to use my back hours, unless if I wanted to just get extra massages within the month, bottom line, ensuring they make the most $ possible. HOWEVER, come September (once Ive hit a yr), I will be eligible for the option to do a freeze plus which allows me to freeze my monthly charges, and use my back hours, for just merely an extra $20/month!! So to be clear, instead of charging me $65/month they will charge me $20/month, just to use the hours Ive already paid for, completely defeating the purposed of opening the account for the $20-30 savings in the first place!!At this point I started to get creative, and thought well Ill just transfer the hours then, and get some friends massages for Christmas. Nope, this realistically is nearly impossible as well. Firstly, you can only do 1 transfer per month. They also cannot be transferred onto a card, but can only be transferred to an account. So if I wanted to gift my back hours, I would essentially need to start now, doing 1 transfer/month, to get 4 gifted hours by Christmas, and would need to open each person their own account to put the hour on. I should also mention, that for every transfer you do, there is about a $10 charge (insuring they make yet more $).Bottom line, more than disappointing and frustrating, and instead of being at least appreciated for my support through their shut down (by simply being able to use the hours Ive paid for) instead I feel like ive been deceived and taken advantage of. They then informed me that they were rewarding everyone with little massage extras (like essential oils or the like during your massage) - like that $.50 extra makes up for essentially robbing everyone who kept their accounts active - laughable!
I find the service very pleasant and reasonable. The facility is set up similarly to other spas that I have been to and everyone at the front desk seems pleasant and helpful when I arrive and when checking out. (I love the hot neck wrap they give you when you arrive!) My massage therapist always asks if there are any particular areas that are bothering me at the start of my appointment and spends a little extra time addressing those areas. Ive gone to other spas and felt like I was being beat up during my massage and left feeling sore for about a week afterwards. It was NOT a pleasant experience! Ive never felt that way at Massage Envy. Im happy with the service I receive and feel like the areas I need loosened up are being taken care of.
I have been going to this location for over 6 years. I am always greeted by name, and the staff is very personable. The massage tables have heat (if wanted) and are very comfortable. The therapists always check with you at the beginning of each session to discuss areas of focus, and there are a number of add on services available to further customize your experience.
I love this place! The receptionists are friendly and I’ve only had one massage that wasn’t outstanding. I appreciate the little touches like the warm neck wrap at the beginning and the warm wet wash cloth to wipe off the excess oil at the end.I would have to say the BEST MASSAGE IVE EVER GOTTEN AT A MASSAGE ENVY was from ANGELA. I came in with a wicked tension headache and a really sore lower back and left feeling amazing. She listened to me about my problem areas and delivered a customized massage. She could go work for movie stars or royalty or something she is that good.Honorable mention goes to Kyle and Matthew. They both delivered extremely detail oriented and customized massages. Make sure you call and request for them so they get the request bonus. The one picky thing I’d like to point out is I wish the facility didn’t use plastic water cups. Some other locations have reusables for coffee, tea, and water. I can’t imagine how many are in the landfill now.Overall, this location is great. Check them out.
I have been going to Massage Envy in Williston, Vt for 4 months now and I LOVE it!!! The front desk staff is always so welcoming and pleasant. The warm neck wrap is a great relaxing touch. My massage therapist Amanda is out of this world!! She is always checking in with me and asking what areas need to be focused on. She does a great deep tissue massage! I highly recommend Amanda and Massage Envy to everyone!
I cant say enough good things about this Massage Envy location. The front desk staff are super friendly and always seem to be in a great mood. They genuinely seem excited to see you when you come in. My therapist (Amanda) is about as amazing as it gets. Great personality and even greater hands! She always makes a point to ask me about how things are and always remembers something that I told her last time. I always feel 10 times better when I leave than when I walked through the door. Highly recommend Amanda and Massage Envy in Williston!
I absolutely LOVE this place! John is my favorite! He finds knots I didnt even realize were there and gets them out every time! I highly recommend their membership because its only $60 a month and youre guaranteed a massage EVERY MONTH. As an added bonus, the employees at the front desk are always so pleasant and helpful! I genuinely look forward to the whole experience every month!
I have always had a great therapist. Ive had deep tissue, the heat treatment, sugar scrub and always a good response to my requests for focusing on my feet/ legs/ lower back or shoulders... Thank goodness for the late hours and ability to accommodate a last minute need.... I find the front desk staff cheerful and helpful.I am a member, because If I do not schedule ahead, Ill never do it. I go monthly, schedule another as needed.... I find the price to be fair and reasonable.... spas charge twice as much !!!
I booked a 30 min tension massage for my boyfriend for his birthday. He went today around 2:50 and received a massage for 15 mins maybe and was pressured and asked why he only booked that for an appointment. Also was bombarded into getting a plan and asking if he wants to upcharge during his experience ( thats not relaxing.) . I was hoping for a somewhat relaxing experience for him. But it didnt seem that way at sll Hope this information helps everyone out. Have a great day !
Rachel (massage) is new but is very experienced and intuitive. I highly recommend her!Check in and out is a bit clumsy. Confirm details at every interaction... The current staff is still learning. Errors abound.Call ahead before you arrive. Staff is stretched thin. I have been there a couple of times and each time has been on hold over 10 min (and now past my appointment) each time. The staff is doing their best, and I but this is a Covid glitch that you may wish to be aware of.
Very disappointed at the unethical nature of the membership program. I was going to buy my fiancee a gift card here but was persuaded to get her a membership instead because of the additional benefits. The staff either doesnt know all of the downsides to membership or are purposely told not to disclose them to the customer. When I went to cancel the membership I was told my fiancee had to do it because the membership was in her name despite the fact that my credit card was the one being charged. Seems like a very ridiculous set up.Every time I spoke to the manager regarding the membership she simply said You signed a contract stating.... I didnt realize I needed to bring my lawyer with me to purchase a massage. This place is very unethical and shady. Do not give them your credit card info. Do not buy a membership of any kind. If you want to get a gift just buy a gift card or go somewhere else. I would never treat the customers at my business that I manage the way they treat customers here.I am not the only person to comment on this fact with Massage Envy. Keep scrolling down and you will see other people express the same sentiment. I wish I had read the reviews of Crater First, Judy New, and Susan Parker before going here.
Who does not love a full body massage? The ladies and men working here are very friendly. They offer different styles of massage. I definitely recommend the hot stone massage. Sto es are warm and smooth and an experience you dont want to miss out on.Establishment is clean quiet and safe.
I feel the member rates are reasonable and I like that I can bank my monthly massages if I dont use them one month or combine them for a longer massage the next month. The therapists are excellent and the relaxing environment is perfect! Highly recommended.
Worst massage I have ever received. The massage therapist left in the middle of it and came back and told me she went to the bathroom. (Why would I want to know that when your rubbing me?) when she continued the massage her hands were absolutely freezing. She wouldnt stop talking about my hair and what salon I go to. She didnt get the hint that I didnt want to talk when I stopped responding. Very uncomfortable. Wanted the massage to end the entire time I was in there.
I had a terrible experience at this massage envy yesterday evening. They lost my appointment in their scheduling system. I was supposed to have one at 6pm and when I showed up for a massage, they told me I wasnt scheduled. They then decided to book me an appointment for 9pm. I left and decided they had made up for the original mishap. Then I got a call from them saying an employee had a conversation with a manager who told them since Im not a member, I cannot have the final appointment of the evening. How would you feel?
Its been several years since my first massage at Massage Envy in Williston, and that was a good experience. I just booked a prenatal massage on short notice and was very pleased that they could fit me in before my due date in a week. Im really looking forward to my 1 hour prenatal massage to relax my sore muscles before the big delivery!
With so many different styles of massage techniques from therapists, you can always find your favorites! So easy to schedule and the price is awesome, especially if you go more than once per month.
Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. No notification of my appt being canceled and when I showed up they told me no one was there to do my massage. Online it still had my appt scheduled to which they said they didnt want to cancel it online because they were waiting to hear from me. But never got a call. No offer to reconcile either. Will not go here again.
Poor service from the business side of things. A friend of mine who goes to the same location was NOT charged for the months that Massage Envy was closed during COVID however I was. Additionally, I recently moved from there which allowed me to cancel my membership earlier. When I had sent them an email in May regarding this I was not responded to until 2 weeks later. At that point I submitted proof of me leaving and waited another 2 weeks after which I called and emailed AGAIN because there was no response. They then told me they will not charge me for the month of June since I actually had sent them all the paperwork June 1st. Today (6/18/2020) I looked at my CC and was CHARGED on June 13th! I recommended if you enjoy massages to not sign up with massage envy because they are more of hassle than it is worth. There are other locations in the area with less problems and even better quality massages.
Horrendous. Customer service is non-existent and they cancelled my appt 10 minutes before I arrived. Not only was the receptionist uncaring but she also felt the need to tell me how my almost massage therapist just got out of previous booking appt and felt sick so she went home. Lucky person in front of me who had sick massage therapists rubbing people down all day. Gross!I made this appt weeks in advance and you cancel 10 minutes before? Youre a chain, how do you not have other therapists on staff? Get another person to take her place. When I asked to speak with the manager the girl told me 1) they didnt have managers and then when we asked for the district manager she told us they didnt have those either. Then she refused to tell us her managers name and would not give us her contact info. Then she gave us a fake email address.DO NOT BOOK HERE. Go to Oasis Day Spa down the street. Theyre lovely and clean and they are professionals.
I had a massage by Jared today and it was just a massage. I was disappointed because I was suppose to get a 90 minute massage. I understand they allow time for dressing and consultation. My massage started at 4:10 pm and ended at 5:21. I feel I should have had another 15 minutes of massage. He talked through most of massage and he complained constantly that massage therapy was a physically demanding job and he was tired. He explained that his girlfriend understood because she was a message therapist too. I felt he was not really interested in helping me personally.
I tried using Massage Envy in hopes of treating a frozen shoulder and lower back pain. I could not recommend this franchise to anyone with health issues. They lure customers in with a low price quote and then give you a hard sell to subscribe for a year. I made the mistake of doing so and regretted it deeply. What I got was low quality bodywork from a revolving door of therapists whose techniques were sloppy and often left me in more pain than when I came in the door. This is a franchise with low pay for its workers, high staff turn owner (I found one therapist I liked and then she left bcs of the low pay and high demand to turn over clients back to back.) The model here is a a chop shop and the turn over in staff/therapists so high youll never be able to see the same therapist twice. Youll be pressured to see another therapist so they can meet their contract promise to one massage a month. Yuk. To add insult to injury they pressure you to pay a tip each time directly to the therapists in addition to your monthly fixed fee, making the service cost even more. (They do not pay therapists well and pressure, you, the client, to make up the difference personally). I have heard that other franchise locations for Massage Envy are better run -- its a national chain -- but the one in Williston, Vermont definitely has client service issues.
Everyone who works at Massage Envy in Williston is super professional and there to make your time as relaxing as possible. From the warm neck wraps to heated massage beds, the opportunity to add aromatherapy, and the glass of water and a warm towel your masseuse brings to you after the massage, there is so much attention to detail made to make you happy. Would definitely recommend getting a membership to anyone and everyone.
Just had an hour massage today with Heather. Great one hour of relaxation. They guys at the front desk are also pleasant. Always look forward to my time there each couple of weeks.
The therapists are wonderful. They listen to what you want and need and ask questions to meet your needs. Ive been going for months and havent had a bad massage yet.
Great environment, staff, and perks! The prices are great as well as the welcoming staff. My membership makes me look forward to my monthly massages; its like a little monthly getaway! Couldnt be happier with it here.
First of all, John. He is simply amazing. I have probably had over 40 different practitioners over the last 30 years. Except for a couple of highly specialized individuals doing very specific things, hes the best. Granted, I have no idea of how he does with the fluffy, make me feel good, type of massage. I come to John because Im getting older (54) and things need to loosen up and I dont want to do hours of yoga every day. He gets in there and loosens things up. And it hurts. Lordy, does it hurt sometimes. AND I walk out of there on cloud nine. No, its not just the endorphins. Its like going to PT or to a burn therapist. If you really want them to do their job, its going to hurt. Highly, highly recommended. But only as a deep tissue kinda massage. I think sometimes about asking for a gentler, more soothing massage. Nah!Second, Massage Envy. I love that someone has figured out how to franchise massage. Its convenient and the cost is pretty damn reasonable. I understand that they are trying to upsell. I dont mind. I used to be a waiter and while I wanted to provide the service the customer wanted, I also knew that the tip was on the total. So whenever they ask if I want any of the extras, I smile and say no.Third, ambiance. If I was paying $250 an hour, Id expect little water falls with bamboo groves everywhere. And little pots of complimentary tea. And little slipper socks. But this aint 10,000 waves or one of those places in southern california. Its Burlington, Vt. And its a franchise. And I get an amazing massage from John every two weeks. If my budget could afford it, Id go every week.
Rebecca did wonders for my face! I had never had a facial before but I just got tired of oil spots and dry spots. My face just needed a start over. She took her time to explain what she was doing and I was obviously nervous but she made me feel confident. Highly recommend if you need a face reboot!
Not only did I have what was likely the best massage of my life, but when my ride fell through the staff took the extra time and effort to make sure I got home safely. The staff and therapists are professional and caring, capable and kind.
Tough to get appointments and their membership is quite tricky to get out of. I have been a member for two years. I called to cancel my membership due to lack of appointments and theyre telling me it will take 10 days to cancel so they can cash another $80 from me. Avoid at all costs.
Waited OVER TWO WEEKS for an appointment for a prenatal massage and they called and cancelled LESS THAN AN HOUR before the appointment!! They were not very polite about it at all. Seriously? I think I will take my business somewhere else where they care about their customers.
I went there a first time they told me it be 65 for a hr for the first time. Then get there for my appointment told me it was 85 for a hr plus they said they tried to call me to reschedule looked at my messages and nothing. They lost my business. I had to miss work because of them. I am so not happy.
Caitlin was very informative with describing all the products used in my facial as well as recommended products to sustain the results of the facial during the following month. I look forward to my monthly facial & actually remember to go because the gals behind the desk called with 2 reminders!! Great Service.
I have always been very happy with the massages I have had at Massage Envy. The staff is friendly and the therapists do a wonderful job so that I leave my massage feeling completely relaxed and happy that I took the time to pamper myself!
I love the heated neck wraps as you wait for your therapist. The spa is very relaxing and clean. Its fun to try out a new therapist every once in a while for something different.
This place has gone downhill. Service was horrible. She was late getting there. I understand things can happen, but you dont take it out on your customer. Spoke rudely to me, and I walked out.
Im so happy that I joined last January. I enjoy my monthly massage, bringing guests and telling others about this wonderful business. Give yourself a treat and book a session.
Chronic pain can be difficult to manage but people like Amanda make it more bearable. I would highly recommend her as she listens to your input and adjusts pressure accordingly. I had a wonderful experience and look forward to my next visit!
I went in a couple of weeks ago for an introductory massage, and quite enjoyed the experience. The space is clean, neat, and comfortable, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I will likely be back.
I have been a member for over a year now and I have been very pleased! Shari is the best and she really gets to know you. I also have Angie for my facials and she does a fantastic job! Thank you both!
Always a great massage. They work with you to find out exactly what youre looking for from the massage. Staff is always warm and friendly, facilities are always clean and inviting.
Shady as hell. Tried to get me to sign a very legally questionable waiver that no other clinical practice has ever tried to make me sign, the front desk lady tried to get me to stop asking questions about it. The waiver explicitly stated, among other things, that I would defend Massage Envy and its associates in court over matters including negligence of their own employees.
Worst Experience Ever-Do not go. I cant believe how awful they are to deal with. They make canceling your membership very difficult. They would not let me speak to a manager. I had to cancel my card because they kept charging it without permission. Avoid them!
Had an hour massage with Marissa, did some focus work! It was AMAZING very clean and professional. I felt much better! highly recommend!
Easy scheduling, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. This all contributes to a nice experience, yet the massage itself is usually not that great.
I always feel really relaxed after my massage. Indira is very professional and one of the best masseuses Ive ever had!
Its my mini getaway each month. Atmosphere is serene and staff is super friendly. Massage always exactly what I need.
Ive been going to Massage Envy for a year now and I love it! Its my mandatory chill time - and I am a huge fan of Heather as a therapist!
Very relaxing experience with good selection of therapists across a varietyof massage techniques. Facility is top shelf.
Do not join. Hard to schedule and very difficult to discontinue membership. I have asked several times to stop my monthly billing. Asked for the manager to call me to no avail. Very disappointing!
John at Massage Envy is by far the best massage therapist in our area, I hated to share my secret but others deserve an hour or two with him. Thanks massage envy
Go here if you want to experience a sales pitch. asks creepy questions to try to figure out how to sell to you. when you come out of your massage they try to trap you into a contract. not relaxing.
So many talented therapists! So many different services! Great atmosphere and friendly faces. I look forward to every visit!
This is a very nice Massage Envy. I had a great massage and loved the relaxing environment. I will be coming back soon!
Great massage and the staff is very friendly! Lots of different services including stretching with massage. Facials as well.
I LOVE coming to Massage Envy! They are always clean and inviting and its a wonderful experience and time to relax!!!
Love the atmosphere here. Rich is an awesome therapist and uses the right amount of pressure. I highly recommend him as a therapist.
Matt gave me the best massage of my life here. Staff is kind and its a cozy space.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. I am able to see the same therapist who knows me and works well with me.
I had a relaxing massage last month at Massage Envy. Amanda was the therapist who did the massage.
I have been a member for almost 2 years now and love it! People are very nice and the atmosphere is great.Highly recommend it!
Brittany is awesome. Im going to miss her as she is heading back to school for her senior year. See you again in June!
Great hours and service. The therapists are always friendly and professional. Highly recommended!
They got me in last minute. I am able to move my neck much better now! Thank you!

Friendly staff and some great massage therapists. I recommend them.
