Visited for the second time ever and got to experience Thursday karaoke upstairs! Great time, very welcoming atmosphere and crowd! Hoping to get out and visit for some theme nights here soon! great work you all, Keep new castle county’s only gay club thriving!

Went here for the first time on Friday night to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing time. It was a very diverse crowd and I was happy to see a lot of queer women enjoying themselves. The drag show was great and the bartenders upstairs were very friendly and approachable. The first bartender we encountered downstairs not so much. But overall my friends and I had a great time dancing and really just loved the vibe here.

I have not been out to a gay club in 5 years, just could not find a decent one close to home without driving 40 min to Philadelphia. This place was so unique in where the building is located. The staff was very friendly and the entertainment was awesome so this is definitely a place I will be visiting again

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that we stumbled upon a Christmas drag show! And the cover was only $5. The atmosphere was very welcoming and laid back. The place was decorated for the holiday. Everyone was friendly and happy to give us recommendations for what sights to see in the area.

Will definitely be back here. My first time there for my friends birthday. I had the time of my life. 💯

Was my first time ever going here. My partner and I went on a Friday night. Was advertising college night. No college guys, about 10 people total in the bar. Drinks are high price however theyre strong drinks....that was the only plus for the night. Was disappointed because this is the only gay bar around. If I was to suggest any advise since I use to be a club promoter, this place needs to promote better especially when a college is nearby. Otherwise most of the staff is very nice.

Crimson Moon has been THRIVING since they reopened late 2021. It’s been great to see the unique parties/drag shows, new light/sound system, and great (strong) drinks! Hidden gem of wilmington!

So glad to see this place thriving and what a great comeback! The renovations and new additions create an ambience that must be experienced. Very impressed and the workers are friendly. Crimsons back!

We came here for the re-opening and a birthday. We had THE BEST TIME! The energy is amazing and the service is impeccable! Everyone is so friendly! We will definitely be back … a lot!

I went in last night and had two beers. I got check totalling $7. I left $3 tip totalling 10 dollars. When I looked at my bank statement they had withdrawn $22 dollars. They padded my bill. When I tried to call number in website it was a fake number. I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau. They tried to scam the wrong person. So beware if you go, take cash. I have seen other reviews from others who had their checks padded.

It’s awesome. Had a great time even as a straight guy!! Mark at the upstairs bar was very kind and a great bar tender. Drink prices are low, don’t be deterred by a $5-$10 cover.

Kevin Schupp...I first went to Crimson Moon a few years ago while visiting here from my home in Florida. It was an intamate and friendly atmosphere. On each visit to Wilmington I made a point of visiting The cozy little bar tucked away in an Italian neighborhood. When I moved here a few years ago I frequented the bar and became a regular.The karaoke on Thursday is fun and better than most because you dont have to wait in a line up of 20 people to sing. Amanda does a great job as the DJ.The drinks are reasonably priced, and about what youd expect to pay, however, youll appreciate that the pour is a little heavy...BUT, Im sure not going to complain about that.Robert, one of the bartenders, loves to join in at karaoke with his rendition of Chers Dark Lady it brings the bar to life and everyone joins in.Crimson Moon is the good ole fashion neighborhood travern, in the truest sense of the name, for the Wilmington LGBTQ community. Ive met some wonderful friends and it is a weekly stop for me on Thursday and Friday night. From what I have observed, Crimson Moon, though a smaller crowd, is truly representative and inclusive of the entire LGBTQ community...gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, etc. and that is refreshing.

The Crimson Moon is SUCH a welcoming space for queer women. My partner and I had a lovely time and met so many sweet people there.

Im 26 openly gay and had only been to one club and one bar a couple times. I love to drink but crowds and drinking out wasnt my preference. Through some new people Ive met this year I was offered a job at the front door where I greet everyone who comes in. Its been great meeting new people and broke my social anxiety of crowds or parties.Theres a few dozen regular patrons who are very friendly and happy to welcome new faces. Its a total gay bar however quite a few people who are straight come in. We have the main downstairs bar and Friday and Saturday we open our upstairs(3-5$ Cover Upstairs). Up there is a dance floor and DJ, another bar and a lovely outdoor covered deck where you can step away from the noise to socialize or smoke while bringing your drink with you.The bartenders and shot boys are very nice.(Don, the owner is a great person to work for and have as a friend, but dont get on his bad side lol.PS We make our drinks quite strong too!

Friendly staff. Chill first floor bar. Fun 2nd floor club. I like their showtimes nights on Wednesdays and their Drag Race showing on Fridays.

Great bar and awesome atmosphere. Always has great drag shows. Staff and queens are always super fun and friendly.

The perfect place for everyone. The staff here is beyond friendly. I’ve been going here for years and the re-opening was exactly what this community needed. It was worth the wait.

Very warm and welcoming staff! A cute bar that has easily become a new favorite. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

I was really excited about going to this bar but they don’t open on time. Either times need to be updated on Facebook and google or open on time. Looking forward to trying the place and giving an actual review :)
