I have been going to Bangz Salon for over 2 yrs when I first moved to Wilmington. My stylist is Emily Wade. She is dedicated to her job and to her clients. I feel she should be the face of Bangz as she represents a well dressed professional and beautiful inside and out. She is active in listening and sharing ideas for coloring and cutting my hair. I get compliments on my hair all the time. If you need a stylist who is up on hair trends and guaranteed to make you feel awesome about your hair, make an appointment with Emily Wade!

I got a wash, cut and style for an event l was attending. The lady who did my hair was okay. However my curls fell out within 2 hours they didnt make it to the event. The cost was reasonable. My bank charge was 30 dollars off from the original charge. 3 days after the service someone in the salon took tips into their own hands literally. Signed some random name and lied about who paid the charge. We asked them review the cameras from 5 days ago. They claim they dont go back that far. Just be warned pay with cash. Or they will take what they feel like they deserve.

I have only positive things to share about Bangz! I started seeing Emily Wade almost two years ago and cannot recommend her enough! She is professional, friendly, easy to schedule with, and always does a phenomenal job with my haircuts and blonding services😊

Need hair help? Go to Nicole Cook!! I tried bleaching dark dye out of my hair by myself and it looked like a literal disaster. I reached out to Nicole after searching for help and I’m glad I did. It was a long process but my hair is not only a beautiful color but also looks super healthy after all it’s been through. She also took the time to educate me and set me on the right path. She’s super sweet and personable. I’m making the switch to use her from now on. Pictures below of before and after.

DO NOT pay this place with a credit card! My sister got a blowout a cut and a wash here and it was 60 dollars and then it went up to 90! My mother went into the salon a couple days later because they were trying to figure out what happened and asked how much it would be the get the blowout, a cut, and a wash and they said it would be 55, we get the receipt and we looked at the signature and it was not my sisters nor my mothers, they said it was a Littles kids signature first off my sister is not a little kid ethier, my dad went in and asked also with my sister and then my mother had to get involved in it again also and they kicked us out then my mother wanted to take a photo of the camera and then they forced her back out and called the cops!

I moved here a little over a year ago and knew I needed to find a salon ASAP. I was paired with Elizabeth and we instantly connected. The first transformation was unbelievable and she made me feel beautiful in her chair. I am so grateful for Bangz and ELIZABETH!!!! :) She made a lasting impression of my entrance into Wilmington!

Nicole Cook is AMAZING. She completely transformed my hair and fixed an awful color job I had done before by someone else. I literally won’t go to anyone els but Nicole Cook now. I absolutely love this salon! I literally drive 3 hours every 6 weeks just to see Nicole Vilcins! This trip I may have went a little crazy and got extensions! Ha! I am in love with them!! Go check her out!

I got a haircut and style. I payed 60 for that and everything was fine, 3 days later the charge went to 90. Someone at the place put a 30 dollar tip and once I asked them about the cameras they continue to say they dont go back that far then they call the police. They are stealing money and its fraud.

I dyed my hair blonde for years and recently went to my natural color so it would be healthier. She made me love my hair agian. She did amazing and its the perfect length. She added volume to my very fine thin hair. She recommended the perfect products and was super down to earth. I really recommend herShe did wonders on my hair. I was looking for a new stylist since moving to Wilmington and I am VERY picky when it comes to my hair. I tried out Anastasia on a whim, and it was the best decision I could’ve made! She is so kind and very knowledgeable about hair and what would look good on a particular person. My stylist I would go to back at home knew what color to do what cut I wanted, so I didn’t really know what to say or explain, but she got it PERFECT (and might I add better than before). Ask for stylist Victoria Paz!She listens and pulled off the look I wanted. I thought barbers were the only option for men, but, I was wrong! Thanks to my wife for booking me an appointment with her stylist Victoria, and thanks to Victoria for her skills. I’ll never go to the barber again.I still need some length so she didn’t cut too much off the top so didn’t even charge me the full quoted amount!!!! That’s awesome and shows that she’s more interested in making sure her clients are happy instead of just making a quick buck.Highly recommend.

Best experience in such a long time. Its been years since I walked out of a salon thinking I love my hair! Kimberly listened to my hair history, the reasons I was nervous and what I was hoping for, and just made a whole miracle happen in thirty minutes! Not only that - she fit my daughter in too, who had been desperately wanting a pixie cut. She said to me, mom I cant believe I finally have the perfect haircut. It feels like a dream.Indeed. Kimberly is amazing! The salon was also really gorgeous, lots of amazing products with no pressure to buy. Cool decor with accessories (bags, hats, jewelry) available to purchase.

Mason is THE BEST! I have been in Wilmington for 10 years and had yet to find someone I could trust with my hair until now. I was so anxious to cut my hair, considering how long it was and wanting to have it highlighted for the very first time. Mason was amazing from start to finish, made me feel very comfortable in the chair, talked me through the process of what we were doing and was very personable, had me laughing the whole time. MASON was unbelievably AWESOME in every way!!!! Exceeded my expectations for a first time visit. He took a lot of time consulting with me about the correct color choice and cut. After putting on the first round of color which was a tiny shade off, he pointed it out to me and took the extra time to make it PERFECT!!! Then he topped it off with the PERFECT cut!!! I hate getting haircuts because I have had many people mess my hair up in the past. I moved down to wilmington and was so hesitant to get a haircut because of my trust issues! A good friend of mine recommended Anastasia and I am so happy I found someone who can actually cut my hair! She is very good at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone!

Just saw Julie and wow! If you are looking for the best hands down person for texturing hair she is your girl. It was like watching Edward Scissorhands work magic. It was absolutely amazing!Im not sure why facials are not an option on the services provided on this websitebecause Ive never experienced anything so joyful and relaxing in all my life! The best part was the care she placed with me. After examining my skin she adjusted my facial for highly sensitive skin. Every step of the process was relaxing, enjoyable and done with remarkable care... Im going back as often as I can! I look and feel great! People are asking what ive done differently recently because I look so refreshed!

Tried somewhere new to get my hair done and decided on Bangz due to all the great reviews (which I am adding to). I got my hair done by Nicole Cook and she did amazing! Highlights in addition to a haircut were exactly what I had asked for and envisioned. She was super nice and communicative about what she was doing and the process as well as products she was using! All around great service and great results alongside a pretty and clean salon. I will definitely be booking with her here again!

The girls up front were very helpful. They found me a same-day appointment and were extremely nice. As my first experience at a salon, I think Tyler did an amazing job cutting curtain bangs and long round layers. He listened to my questions and concerns and he explained why he did and didn’t do certain things for my hair. Overall he made me feel super comfortable. I just want to say that Nicole at Bangz is amazing! I recently moved here and was in need of a good beautician (it’s always scary going to someone new when it comes to hair). I literally showed Nicole a photo of the cut and color I wanted. She did more then just listen to me, she was able to get close to the blonde I’m striving for (hair was dark and copper toned and I’m a natural ash tone so will take some time for a cooler shade). Needless to say…. Nicole had me feeling like a million bucks by the time I left her chair. She listened to me and did exactly what I was looking to accomplish and brightened me up! Love the cut and color! Would highly recommend!!!!!

Went here for a bachelorette party and had the most amazing day! Started off with ken for a facial omg!!! My face feels amazing and he is the boss and slays eyebrows! Then I went for a massage with zeke, ladies if you have knots or anything he has some magic fingers!!! Then saw Emma for a pedi amazing then to end it was with Elizabeth she made my hair look amazing and made it feel alive! These 4 are amazing at what they do and strongly recommend

Called on monday asking for an appointment and made sure to ask for a platinum blonde specialist.. on wednesday i saw mason, i could have never asked for a better hairstylist! i normally jump from stylist just because i never connect with them, but after one appointment with mason, he is now my go to! he has all the knowledge needed to perfect your hair while giving a great time being in the chair. my hair looks amazing so big thank you to mason! can’t wait to see you again!

Location is easy to get to and they have plenty of parking. There are A LOT of stylists at this place, the building is much larger than it looks from the outside. They use good products and everyone is super friendly. Courtney, my stylist is awesome; she matched my color on the first try after moved here from out of state. I think my only complaint is how loud it can be...lots of people plus their stylists and other employees, sort of takes away from a relaxing experience at the salon, but always being busy is a good sign!!!

I moved from Charlotte where I had the same stylist for 13 years. I found Nicole Cooke at Bangz and have never been happier. She does fantastic work and is always so thoughtful and kind. She is an amazing stylist!

Scheduled an appointment with Nicole via text and she forgot to write it on her schedule. Two weeks later on the day of appointment she was off and ignored the fact we had an appt, no apology, only mentioning a previous canceled appt. She said she deletes her messages and could not retrace her steps so I sent her a screen shot and she never replied. Reorganized my schedule for this appt… very disappointing.

This place is amazing. Their safety protocols were good. I was a little nervous but this Corona Hair needed taming. I thought I just needed highlights but my stylist recommended a few other things and my hair looked amazing. You get what you pay for and no, it’s not Great Clips prices, but my hair is healthy and looks awesome. My stylist told me I don’t need to come back for 8 weeks because it will take that long before I need a touch up. I figure 150$ to look rad for 2 months is a really good deal. My cut was cute too. Nothing drastic but getting bangs is no joke so....Anyway, thanks 😍 Nicole and Brooke.

The service I received was remarkable. The people up front doing the scheduling were friendly and attentive. making an appt. was easy and they paired me with the perfect stylist for my situation. Nicole Cook did her thing!!! My hair was a sparse, thinning, mess. She was not phased in the least. Her attitude was so positive and supportive. Severely thinning hair can be hard to work with, not to mention the emotional component attached to being young and dealing with it. However, Nicole still managed to give me an incredible, edgy cut that concealed the issues without looking obvious. Hands down the best cut. Once again I will mention that her attitude, energy, and skill made all the difference.

I first went to Nicole Vilcins a few months ago for a color correction. She squeezed me in so I wouldn’t have to start work with a hair color that was much too dark for my liking. She was professional and easy going. She showed me different colors and gave suggestions to get it to a color I loved.I went back to Nicole this past week for a Magic Sleek treatment. Nicole was flexible with my schedule and saw me after I finished work even though it was a 4-6 hour service. During the treatment, Nicole was meticulous with the hair straightening. Despite the time of day she never rushed and due to that the results were amazing. I have wild, frizzy hair. After the treatment she washed it & it dried completely straight. This service is going to save me hours during the week allowing me more time to spend time with my family, work, and workout without having to worry about my hair. I highly recommend Nicole!

Edit: I woke up this morning, washed and styled my hair. I honestly hate it. It’s just a mess. It feels like the stylist gave me a cut that increases volume and texture BUT my hair is naturally very textured and high in volume. When the cut was sitting on my head like a helmet, the stylist used thinning sheers all over my head. This resulted in an extremely uneven, jagged cut. I don’t want to criticize the stylist so harshly as I know she did her best and she checked in with me often throughout the cut. But once the hair was gone it was gone. I honestly don’t think this can be fixed anytime soon as I don’t want my length any shorter. I’m so frustrated because the stylist who did my hair was very new. This wasn’t told to me until the cut was going (and my length was gone). I don’t think she had the experience or knowledge to achieve the look I wanted with the hair I have. I still paid full price though. So after I styled my hair again today, and became deeply frustrated, I called the salon for a refund. The only option was a complimentary hair cut! Absolutely not. I’m hoping I can get in touch with the owner for a refund of my payment. For now I have lowered my review.I’ve gone to Bangz for my hair for the last several cuts and colors. Overall the experience is usually nice. I hesitated to post this as the stylist was new, young, and really did put her best effort forward. But I left a bit unhappier than normal. In the picture I requested the actress has curly hair hitting her collar bone. It’s layered as well. The haircut I got is nice but just very different than what I asked for. At the straightest, it hits my neck and the layers are very chunky. They sit rather heavy on my head. I don’t mind going short, but this was a very different outcome than I expected and it’s taking me a lot of effort to love it. It’s a feeling that sucks when your identity is wrapped up in your hair. It also sucks because they stylist was wonderful and the cut itself isn’t bad. It’s just not me. 🤷‍♀️

Olivia did my lashes for months before I decided to take a break and she did an amazing job! She is so good with getting me in when I need it and is so relaxed I just love talking to her. Plus her prices are unreal. Some of the cheapest in Wilmington for the best work! Plus she offers amazing deals like a free brow wax when getting a fill, or a $45 facial for lash clients. 10/10 recommend!

I love the haircut that I have with Nicole and the one that my mom did with savanna, they are great, they were wearing masks and the price is reasonable!!! The head wash was a little hard for me, but nothing that I can hold. The location is a beautiful and big salon. I will try to color my hair soon, let see!!

Kyra is hands down the BEST lash extension professional I’ve ever met and I’ve lived coast to coast from LA to Wilmington. I am a single mama to a 3 month old and a 4 yr old so time efficiency Is key to me and she is FAST! She’s also a perfectionist so while she’s super fast, the lashes are perfect! My first set with her lasted 5 weeks without needing any fills!! That’s amazing. She’s also super sweet and funny so you will enjoy talking with her during your appointment. Look no further than Kyra for your next lash application!

I got my hair done by Nicole Vilcins at Bangz Hair Salon. She did highlights and a root smudge. She also did a glaze and toner. My hair looks amazing!!!! I could not be happier. I will definitely be back to see her. If you need highlights in your hair I highly recommend Nicole V (there are two Nicole’s). My hair was not damaged through the process and she took her time to make sure she got every piece evenly.

This place is awesome and so accommodating! Brooke cut my wife and 4 year old daughters hair today and she did a fantastic job! My wife was so nervous because her hair is like 3 feet long. Brooke did such a great job on both of them, and we are extremely happy with the results!

Love this place. I have two teenage daughters that we could never find a place that would listen to them on how they wanted their hair cut. A friend recommended Bangz. Weve been here twice and Tyler did a great job with both girls both times. We will continue to go.

First time going here, and all I have to say is thank you!Reagan did my eyebrows. She was super sweet, down to earth, and super bubbly! I loved her personality, and her ability to help me relax. I had never had my eyebrows done before, but I figured today was the day cause they were quite unmaintained. She was super quick, professional, and did an awesome job! I love the shape! If you want good eyebrows, go see Reagan! ❤️Tyler was my hair stylist, and boy, am I super happy with the result! My hair had grown out into an awkward mullet-of-sorts from an old hair cut. I had resorted to wearing it up because it was so uneven, but I had had enough of that after a month or so. Soo.. I came to Bangz hoping someone could help me out, and Tyler did not disappoint. Tyler did an awesome job! He listened to my concern, looked at some pictures I showed him, and made me feel at home! He was super sweet, super professional, and took the time to figure out what I wanted. Now, I no longer feel embarrassed to wear my hair down anymore! He gave me a fantastic long pixie/ short bob to help blend the short length in the front to the back, and kept a little bit of length in the back in order to help my endeavor of growing out my hair. I love it! It looks so great! I definitely feel like myself again, and I owe it all to Tyler and Reagan! Amazing job. Had a wonderful experience first time I used this business. Great haircut by a guy named Matt who claimed to be in the family that owns the business. Was very friendly and he knew his way around the sheers.Second and third time not so much. My hairstylist (who I will not name) made me a bit uncomfortable. As soon as I sat down, both times, she commented on my physical appearance. Which, I might add, is a bit weird. First time she cut my hair I was happy with the results. The second time she was half way through my haircut when she had to ask me which side I comb my hair to. I’m no “Master” hairstylist but I’m Pretty sure that’s an important detail to know before getting halfway through someone’s haircut. Needless to say, I lost my part on the opposite side I comb my hair. Will have to wear my hat for a few weeks.If you’re a man looking for a haircut here be sure to schedule with someone who specializes in cutting mens hair.

Nicole Cook does a great job! My roots were dark and grown out, and she was able to touch them up along with toning the rest of my hair so that it was lighter/less yellow. I also got bangs, which I was really nervous about, but she did a great job with that as well

We specifically requested an appointment for someone who specializes and is reputable in men’s hair cuts, and they gladly accepted us in for what it seems like was just to get our dollar. The stylist upon cutting and trying to fix it said she was not good at fades and needed to recommend someone else. We are glad she was honest, but why would management schedule that anyway?

I visited this place a week ago, dyed my hair and had a haircut.My stylist Lola used semi-permanent solution even after Ive said I have had it before and didnt like it, I wanted Demi-perm. She was kind enough to say that if it washes away quickly I can come and fix it for free.Next morning I washed my head and realized that color is fading away, so I made an appointment again in a week.She did another solution and I have permanent stains on my temples and ears, it doesnt look nice at all. She was in a rush so i basicly saw color said thanks and left and saw it all after. I have to work with a ponytail all the time, its a shame...Place is cool I guess but I didnt get lucky with my stylist and didnt get a good vibe I think.I wont go there again.Update: washed my hair 4 times, color washed away already partially. I use purple shampoo for dark hair.

A facial issue at a hair salon.???Me and my partner made an appointment, he has rossacia issues on his checks. Alyssa worked on that also. We were lucky to get back to back appointments with Alyssa.Alyssa not only took care of our issues, she recommended products offered at the salon, also everyday simple solutions to change our normal regime of facial care. Im 50 and plan on looking 34 forever, so*...If you are in the area, and need a permanent, or just a, I ll be back the next season in need of an Estonian. We all want to look great.. Bangz salon is exceptional. I had an out of state wedding in NC in Sept. I flew into NC for a hair & makeup trial a few mos before the wedding. The owner of the salon could not have been more helpful throughout the whole experience. The quality of the wedding day hair and makeup was 5 star.

I had Courtney and Katie do my wedding party’s hair and make up for my wedding. They were phenomenal! They showed up even earlier than I did and had everything ready for us when we got there. They were polite and funny and did an amazing job. My hair and makeup stayed perfect all night! Couldn’t recommend a better pair for updos and make up! Thanks so much girls!

I had a great experience getting my hair cut and colored by B at Bangz! B took all of my confusing instructions, pictures and wishes and turned my hair into exactly what I had envisioned! I am so happy with my hair! She also offered me refreshments when I walked in, curled and styled my hair for me, gave me tips on hair care, and sent me home with a sample size bottle of product to try it before I buy it. Bangz itself had a relaxing pampering atmosphere buzzing with friendly people. I am thrilled I tried this salon. Money well spent! I already scheduled my next appointment.

Had highlights and haircut done by Nicole Cook. She did both highlights and lowlights ... the color is beautiful and looks very natural. Haircut was exactly what I wanted. My hair looks better than it has in years. I cant wait for my next appointment!

I had Dylan travel and do my hair and all of my bridesmaids hair for my wedding and he was AMAZING! Everyone had ideas of what they would like, and he made it happen or made it even better. I have a lot of hair and Dylan made it look perfect and stay all night long! He is so great, I highly suggest him!

Awesome experience! They got me in last minute and I had Chrissy. I wasnt sure what I wanted but she took the few things I told her and pieced them into the perfect cut for me. She also gave me a head and neck massage with my wash! Amazing. Highly recommend her! Will definitely be back!

He worked me into his schedule quickly and worked with my hair type to create a STUNNING result! I have received so many compliments already!

Very nice staff. Quality hair care. Pedicure good but too expensive for essentially a polish change. They say you get a foot scrub and callas removed. A quick rub with some salt and buffing ( my callases still there) did a nice polish. Thats the saving grace.

I just moved to NC. My hair cut was fine. I came in for a trim. I wanted to find a stylist that I feel comfortable and trust before I decide to do something drastic. Susan was my stylist. My hair was washed, trimmed and blown dry. This cute young women had ZERO personality. Never said One word. The only thing she actually asked me was how I wanted my hair cut. The girls at the desk where so nice!

Staff was nice, however I’m never going back. My stylist got my haircut wrong and uneven. I don’t think she actually looked at the picture for my color either, cause what I got was way darker and more vibrant than what I showed her. I wanted a more toned down look so I could do job interviews, but what I ended up with looked like a party city wig. She also bleached part of my shirt, and there’s some sort of chemical burn around my hairline where she left the bleach on my skin. EDIT: After a day I noticed my hair color is extremely blotchy with a very noticeable blond ring around my head. It looks horrendous, Im super embarrassed! I tried to give it a chance, but this is ridiculous- this is not what the quality I was expecting from a salon like this.

The whole salon has a wonderful, happy, & comfortable vibe from the second you walk through the door. Dylan Sabo did my hair last week & did a phenomenal job! He took the time to listen to what I wanted & gave my hair life again! I wont be going anywhere else or using a different stylist!

My roommate and I are new to the area and have been dying for new cuts! we searched online for 2 days on where to go but we ultimately decided on Bangz and were so happy we did! we called around 2:30pm to see if they accepted walk-ins and they gave us both appointments for 4:30 that same afternoon! we were so pleased with the atmosphere and both of our hairdressers! and the price was very good for the quality of work! we’ll likely be making this our salon in our new town!!

Bangz is fantastic! I got my first Balayage from Lauren and she made me feel like I was in good hands. I have always been weary about lightening my dark hair in fear of damaging it but after Lauren was done, my hair was still super soft and healthy and looked AMAZING. All the staff wore masks and had proper precautions for minimized social distancing. Highly recommend.

First haircut in wilmington, heard good things about this salon. When i went, I had a very nice stylist, but rushed my hair because they overbooked her and it was not worth the money. Have to go to another salon to fix the cut.

Courtney Houston is fantastic. Shes really great with layers and not afraid to thin out my hair which I normally have to ask for more of! She also fixed a a bad balyage from months before and did great on my color. She did a great job on my husbands long hairstyle too.

Dylan Sabo is the best. I have difficult hair and have been getting bad haircuts for 50 years. Not anymore. Dylan has the extensive knowledge in hair cutting and knew exactly how to cut my wild crown and sides that stick out everywhere. Plus, he’s a really good guy! He’s always happy and you can tell he loves what he does and loves making people happy. My wife now sees him every 5 weeks for her highlights and haircut and she feels the same way about him as I do. Friendly and competent stylists. As a man I have been used to 10-15 minute quick cuts, but to the people here really put in the time and effort. My haircut was done almost entirely with scissors, I instead of the quick passes of a buzzer I was used to. My hair isnt long, they just put in the care. And when I had one problem spot a week later they touched it up for free.

I called a got an appointment for my girls within 1/2 hour. Rachel did a great job on both of their hair. My oldest got her hair cut off to donate to Pantene. Rachel was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and nice.

I had a wonderful experience at this salon. Dylan Sabo did a excellent highlight/lowlight job to make my thinning hair look full again. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly and I even struck up friendly conversations with other patrons. I really like the relaxed atmosphere, great service and reasonable pricing.

I had an appointment on 12/07 to get my hair and makeup done for my first ever and last Marine Corps Ball. I simply asked for curls. Hair and makeup looked good when I left the shop, however before I even made it to the ball, an hour later, my curls had completely fallen out and my hair looked like a hair sprayed mess. After a week of trying to get my money back, I was informed that I could not get a refund because “it was raining that day”. I can assure you that my hair did not get wet, and also that I will never be returning to Bangz for anything in the future. I paid $110. Totally not worth the money at all. Go somewhere else if you want to feel beautiful and confident at your event.

I have never thought about shaving my head before, but after my appointment there yesterday I seriously considered it. I told Courtney what I wanted and she did not do what I asked. When I expressed to her my dislike in the cut, she just gave it more texture but it looked equally bad. I felt like they were just ready to close up and go home, and did not care about my concerns.

Saw a stylist named, Brooke and she turned my awful color that Rock N roller gave me 5 different colors into the most beautiful color. She cut 5 inches off my hair and although I was very sad to lose that much hair, she pointed out to me how Rock N Roller had fried and broke my hair off so bad that the only way to fix it was to cut it. My husband loved my hair so much and said I look like a new person. Highly recommend this wonderful salon. Drove an hour and a half one way and was worth it. Look forward to going back and enjoying a massage next time and to get my hgair done again. Thank you, Brooke.

Such an amazing place. I have looked for a good hair salon in the area and was lucky enough to get a recommendation to Bangz. Ive always been picky about having my haircut after having some really bad experiences but Susan does an amazing job and I wouldnt go to anyone else.

I have been visiting this high end salon for twenty years. My most recent experience was incredibly disappointing. Appointment was scheduled for the wrong day. Offered a different technician who didn’t seem to be trained in brow waxes, wasn’t familiar with the room, couldn’t find proper tools. I paid a ridiculous amount of money to barely have my brows touched, but due to her seeming inexperience, I was afraid to ask her to do more. After years of amazing service with Ken, I am so frustrated and disappointed with my experience today. If you are going for a brow wax be sure to see Ken and don’t accept an offer to be seen by anyone else if your appointment is messed up.

I received a terrible haircut at Ulta two days ago and I was told that it could be fixed by a stylist named Chrissy at Bangz. She told me that there would be no problem fixing my hair. My hair was uneven from one side to the other, it was choppy, and it only had layers in one side. Chrissy told me that she could make it look smoother and not so choppy. During my service she was constantly talking to other coworkers, talking to customers, and complaining that she was double booked for the day. When she finished with my haircut she tried to curl the ends under so that I would not notice the choppiness and the uneven cut. My hair is still choppy and when I told her I did not like it she did nothing about it. She told me that I would have to wait until my hair grew out or buy a straightener to curl it under because she could not fix it. She lied to me about being able to fix it. I left the salon crying because my hair was so terrible and no one said a word to me. They did not ask if I was ok or anything. This place is terrible! Do not get your haircut here! Terrible customer service and everyone was extremely rude when I told them how I felt. They still made me pay the $50 charge even though Chrissy did a terrible job! Do not take your chances here! They will argue with you if you tell them that you do not like the cut and tell you that you are wrong! Worst customer service that I have experienced in Wilmington!

Dylan Sabo did an excellent job! Sometimes mens haircuts get rushed but he took his time to the correct some of my trouble spots. He also added highlights to my wifes hair and they came out perfect!

Had the worst experience with eyelash extensions. Yuliya the “eyelash professionalist” Charged me $200 for extensions that I was not even satisfied with. She did them her own way instead of my way, longer and fuller. I told her I was not satisfied with what I got. She responded the worst way and very rude. Not professional at all! Therefore I did NOT get a refund. I’ve read some of the bad reviews about a phone call being returned. I guess that doesn’t happen. I was expecting one from the manager, never did.

Paid almost $200.00 for highlights, and you can not even see them. When you specifically say, very light highlights, it shouldnt look the same way it did when you walked in. The sad part was. When the manager was shown the reason I was unhappy. She acted like it was not a big deal. She did not offer any kind of solution. Did not offer to have it redone. (I would have paid for it, seriously.) I have NEVER been to a salon, where the client, wasnt the #1 priority...... Never again!!! Looking for a colorist, that knows what, make it light blonde, means.

Eh, went to Bangz wanting an edgy new hair style and left with a cut that could have been acquired at Great Clips. Disappointed. Definitely experienced a failure to communicate with the stylist. She was very sweet, bless her heart. What I paid and the cut I received do not correlate.SMDH

I literally only had my hair trimmed, not even shampooed, and it was $50. Way over priced!! Great Clips could have provided the same trim for$14. I tipped $10, because I believe in tipping well, so I spent $60. Wont be returning.

The gentlemen who cut my sons (1 year old) hair took almost 2 hours, then charged a ridiculous price with it looking almost no different. Think they should invest in getting their hairdressers more practice in technique and time management, rather then the tacky set up they have going on inside! Not all the fab it’s cracked up to be!

Everyone here is super friendly. I recommend Lauren. Shes wonderful. Very knowledgeable and personable. I love going to Bangz! My hair always looks fantastic.

When I made my appointment I specifically asked for a service and was assured that the manicurist was able to fulfill the procedure ....that was not the case...Kim was very nice and helpful in making me happy and for the most part I am..... the price for a pedicure is a little high....it was just a basic pedicure...no art work....the front desk is busy...I found one person to help me but she was busy with her phone!!! Oh well...new to area... Ill keep on searching!

Dylan Sabo is a hair genius. I have been all over wilmington looking for a trustworthy hairstylist and have had issues with many but never Dylan. From blonde to brunette, this guy knows what he is doing. I wont go anywhere else. I highly recommend him and Bangz Hair Salon.

Horrible experience!!! My husband set up an appointment with the owner Linwood for a special day to get my hair cut and highlighted. He has over 20 years of experience and yet the original highlight job looked like someone in their first year. The highlight was at least 2 inches from my root and looked two months grown out. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him attempt to fix it. He reprocessed my hair with more blonde and now my whole head is blonde not what I wanted at all. The best part is that after the reprocessing my hair is dry damaged and looks like it is melted away at the ends of each highlight. Can you say rookie mistake??!! I am no hair expert but that is why I put my trust in him and never once did he make a suggestion against what he was doing! Now my hair is far from what I wanted and is so damaged that I now have to cut it all off. To make matters worse I went in for the fourth time in an attempt to get my money back and came face to face with Linwood. Lets just say he has no sense of business because the whole time he told me that I was wrong and that my hair looked that bad the first time I came in to see him. He tried to bully me out of the store with 100 dollars worth of product or conditioning treatments! An overall awful experience and I will not be back. I highly suggest that you like twice before putting yourself in the hands of Linwood.

Not only did that NEVER HAPPEN- but my hair is FALLING OUT AND I HAVE A CHEMICAL BURN FROM THE 4 HOUR BLEACHING PROCESS THAT WAS OVER-LOOKED AFTER BEING FORGOTTEN ABOUT!!!I was OVERCHARGED ON TOP OF THAT. (for a partial highlight and cut ONLY--$423.00) The big blonde lady that works at the front desk seemed to be clueless about EVERYTHING (or under the influence..) was so nice to give me a 10%discount- which was the $423.83!I had to find someone to fix this on short notice becuase it was a friday -COST ME $170. (FOR A CORRECT HIGHLIGHT COLOR) PLUS- a aloe/keratin therapy treatment, to soothe my scalp!!! ($125) To say the least- I came out feeling better and LOOKING BETTER than when I went to Bangz Hair Salon- worst experience EVER!!!When I called to ask them to fix their mistake, I was told that THAT IS COMPLETELY NORMAL... -OWNER & BBL (Big blonde lady) Do they really think Im that ignorant???There are so many wonderful places to get your hair done in wilmongton, if you have to wait to get in-- DO IT!! Now I have my stylist, my esthetician, my nail tech, my massage therapist, and my tanning stylist all under one roof. Conveniently located to my office and appointments are typically on time with the schedule. No complaints here, only praise and gratitude!Well, ok, I do have ONE little complaint....... can we get a poured concrete parking area with lines, in the back because when people park in gravel (women in sandles) when you are really packed, it tends to mess up freshly painted toes, and hurts!

Do NOT go here unless you want the WORST haircut/experience you’ve ever had.A couple inches off trim turned into not only almost an entire FOOT of hair chopped off, but the haircut itself was nothing like what I wanted.I left the salon in tears and haven’t stopped crying since.

If I could enter a lower number I would. I had a process done to defrizz. That was ok. Then I had color. She showed me the color and it was ash and fairly light. When she was finished it was dark and golden. It was so bad that she did it but she kept defending her action. She didnt tell me. The owner tried to soothe it over and they did an ash glaze but to no avail. its still golden. I will NEVER go back. Did I say Id NEVER go back.

I had an appointment with Meredith on the 19th. I ask for full highlights, however, I left with copper roots. Meredith said that she will try to fit my in to fix the mistake but I have not heard back from her. It is not worth the money.

Worst hair experience I’ve ever had. Coloring was so terrible and not what I asked for at all! Didn’t listen to anything I said and charged me a fortune for the worst haircut and balayage I’ve ever received.
