I am so excited to use this salon for services, but they will not return my phone calls. I spoke to a very nice person there to schedule an appointment 3 weeks ago and he said he would get back to me to confirm the time. I called again a few days later and have left messages 3 times with no return call (since Sept 8th). I was given a generous gift card for my birthday and was really looking forward to using it at this salon.Update: The owner returned my call and I am scheduled. I will write a better review after my experience with this salon!

This salon is wonderful! They always make me feel welcome and are accommodating to my needs. Ashley N. cut my hair so well. Im very picky and she has exceeded my expectations! My daughter went in for her first haircut the same day and they treated her like a princess. We had such a wonderful experience and would recommend Glass Door & Spa time and time again.

Erin has done my hair personally and also done hair & makeup for my photo studio for multiple years! She does a fantastic job and I can tell you, my clients LOVE her!! She genuinely cares about each client she works with and I will continue using Glass Door for all my hair styling and makeup needs in the future!

We would highly recommend this salon! Erin did an fantastic job for all the ladies and my bride. They all looked very beautiful and amazing! We couldnt ask for anyone better!! She also came to the rescue by helping us transform our white boutonnieres to pink to accommodate the cultural colors for our wedding. She was very helpful and was very attentive to our needs. She is AWESOME!!

Brittany did an amazing job on my bridal hair and makeup trial. This was my second trial and my attempt at finding the right fit for my special day. The first trial was done elsewhere and it was very disappointing. I am so glad that I met Brittany! She did not disappoint! She was knowledgeable, patient, and a pleasure to work with! She took her time to make sure every strand of my hair was correctly placed and that my makeup matched my face. She introduced me to airbrush foundation and I am so amazed as to why I had never tried that before. Also, my hair came out ten times better then I imagined it to be. She was so sweet and I really cannot wait to have her complete my makeup for my wedding day!

When I read the reviews about this salon being that I live out of state searching for a makeup artist, I was very excited to work with them. However, I unfortanetly was told I would be scheduled with a specific artist and when I got to the salon for my wedding trial I got a total different person that was doing my trial with no explanation or heads up, so that started on the wrong foot already. I was told by the makeup artist that she only had 1 color lip liner which I was confused about being I was in the actual salon. I thought they should have every shade or if not close to it. Staffing was friendly and the atmosphere seemed to be nice but just my expectations weren’t fully fulfilled and I was kinda bummed because I was anticipating they would have being all the great reviews I read! But it wasn’t the worst experience ever just wasn’t a good fit for me being it was for my wedding.

I have my hair done by Emily for the last several years. I tend to keep a rainbow color hairstyle and she is always very helpful in helping me decide what would look best, patient with all that i request, and always goes the extra mile to make sure I love the finished product. I went to the Renaissance Festival over the weekend and had several people stop me-complimenting her work and taking pictures of it to show their friends and family. I love her work and cant imagine anyone else touching my hair.

I went to Glass Door for the first time on Saturday. The service is incredible, as they offer complementary drinks and are very attentive. I got a womens cut from Taylor. I was beyond amazed with how it looks. I brought in picture of how I wanted my layers to look and she cut them perfectly. She also did a great job styling my hair. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a cut exactly how they describe.

Great place. Friendly and vibrant atmosphere. My family and I have used many services available at this full serivce salon. I mostly see Erin but from time to time one of her co-workers will cut my hair. They all do a great job. My wife is a fan of the massages (which make great Mother’s Day gifts).

My daughters received 2 great styles for their masquerade ball. The stylist was patient with my excited 8 year old for her first ever professional styling appointment. My girls looked like little princesses and were very happy with their haistyles. Thank you very much for the smiles on my daughters faces.

Ive been a regular customer of Erin for over five years and she has always done a great job styling and coloring my hair. She and her staff are courteous and friendly. I like the convenience of validated parking close by also.

After tossing my crazy work schedule around to do the trial visit that would determine hair and makeup for my wedding, and having this scheduled for months, the owner of the salon made other plans and backed out on my wedding three weeks before the wedding. Things happen, of course, but she didnt even have the professionalism or courtesy to call me herself. She had one of her employees contact me telling me I could either wing it with another stylist the morning of my wedding, or Id need to come back in for another trail with a different stylist.They knew nothing about any products Id already requested, so clearly nothing had even been ordered. Id have to come back for a color match.Im not surprised - during my trial visit, I witnessed them scrambling to send someone to the store to get a box of perm while the customer was literally sitting in the chair waiting. I should have taken that as a clue to move on with my search.Who wants to worry about whether your stylist and makeup artist are going to be ready or even show up. Stay away from this salon if your wedding day is important to you.

I had the pleasure of being glammed by this amazing squad! These ladies pay attention to every detail and enhanced my beauty. I got so many compliments and my skin did not break out. They are very detail oriented and want to make sure you are feeling YOUR best. They are open to suggestions, but man I full trusted anything they wanted to do on my hair and make up. They made me wish I could replicate the look everyday.

We had a staff meeting at the salon and it was great. They had a bar area where we could sit and have snacks/drinks and socialize while we took turns getting mani/pedis (there was 8 of us and they did 3 at a time so it went very smoothly). They were very accommodating during the scheduling process and made us feel right at home during the appointments. Almost 2 weeks later, and my toes still look great! Thanks ladies!

Victoria did a fabulous job on my full highlights and haircut. She was very professional and made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The salon is very nice and the employees are friendly and hlephel. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone.

I was a bridesmaid for a wedding that we hired Glass Door to do our hair. There was zero communication and they were not polite. The two stylists were over an hour late with no phone call to tell us if they were lost or even coming. Once they finally arrived they did not apologize and were rude. One of the stylists hair was still wet but they claimed they got lost, then later said they thought the time on the contract was just written down wrong. They were not able to copy many of the bridesmaids pictures accurately, even after some of the girls confronted them about wanting changes they just pushed a few more pins in the hair and called it a day. So I (who am a hair stylist at Avanti in Greensboro) took down or re worked most, if not all, of the updo styles to better match the pictures the girls showed and achieve better volumes placement. We were all still willing to pay since they still worked, but when it came time to pay they had forgotten to write down the total number of women getting styled had changed so they made everyone pay 10 more dollars a person, knowing everyone had already gotten their hair redone by me....and they would not have time to finish everyones hair that originally had signed up because of how late they were.It was just very unprofessional all around. We didnt want to take their money away from them but to charge us more is not acceptable.I also saw them taking pictures of us while we were posing for the photographer before they left. Hopefully that picture will not be posted because none of it was fully their work, that would be false advertisement.

I have been a regular here for several months now. Ive been coming for manicures, pedicures, and waxing. I always love the results! They also do personal hair and make up consultations for your event or jist to find a new style. Everyone here is incredibly friendly. The salon itself beautiful and I love the convenient downtown location. Absolutely 5 out of 5 stars.

I called and made a same day appointment and they were able to fit me in. I needed a color correction and wanted a reverse ombre ,which everything was perfect, my stylist listened to exactly what I wanted, the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be rebooking an appointment with IVY and recommend my family an friends to her!

I went to the Glass Door Salon and Spa for the first time yesterday. I had a cut and color. My hair came out amazing. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The salon was extremely clean and visually classy.

Well , Im speechless. First of all it was 545pm when I called the salon that closes at 6pm. Im in town with my daughter Daniela that is here for the National American Miss Pageant . I called over to the salon to have her eyelashes done at the last moment and without any hesitation I was told to bring her over. We hurried over across the street from the hotel and was given a gracious greeting and they totally went all out for this kid. Hair, eyelashes, and make up . Love them bunches . My staff of 8 visited the salon on a Thursday afternoon for a mani- pedi- retreat. We had a great time. The services were all done very well and everyone was very professional. I will definitely be back on my own! Thank you.

Went for my first time to the salon last week and loved it. Stylist was knowledgeable and definitely understood my comments/concerns and did a wonderful job. The salon was a great atmosphere.

I DEPEND on Erin to help me look my best. Getting older doesnt have to mean getting duller. Erin helps me look as vibrant and vital as I feel. Just say NO to granny hair.

Horrible customer service. They called me when I was ON THE WAY to my appointment to tell me they were canceling. Very unprofessional considering my appointment was to prepare for a wedding that day and put me in a stressful situation. They did not even apologize or seem sympathetic whatsoever.

They were very courteous when I told them I wasnt satisfied with my haircut, and offered me a free follow up appointment. I really appreciated it.

Pedicure is phenomenal! Massaged feet and calves for probably a good 30 minutes. Paint lasts.
