Fox Valley (Asian) Health Massage

I have been going here for over 2 years. I never make an appointment. I just walk in and they always have time for an hour massage. They ask right away if I want soft, medium or hard and I recommend medium. If I have back pain they give me their awesome “Chinese” medicine. I recommend that! They also give me the hot stones if they find problem areas in my back, without me even asking for them. They are always clean and professional. Very relaxing and good prices.

April did a fantastic job, she is patient and uses many techniques to relax you.

Very good I I highly recommend this place because it’s a place where you can feel comfortable and the owner Tina and their staff are totally knowledgeable of peoples bodies and how they’re aches and pains can be pulled out. and they are definitely professionals with doing stress points and relieving that stress so you can go home and sleep at night wake up in the morning and you’ll feel like you’re 10 years old again!!!! we all know that’s not gonna happen😀 but still it’s a good feeling to have somebody that you can go to and they can relieve that for you for the next day and of course thry have so many customers and they always come back. There was miscommunication on the price. I was told $70 then it became $73 and she wanted me to give more than a $10 tip. Not good English-speaking.

I really loved this place. Very professional and felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I asked for deep pressure and thats what I got. The place is right next to a restaurant and I could hear the music from the shared wall, this personally did not bother me one bit. Im making an appointment for later today. The prices are great and they fit me in at the last minute.

I would like to start by saying this is a small, woman owned, local business. And I think there are a few kinks in appointments. So when you call, just verify for yourself that the appointment is set. The herbs they use are just amazing to me. I had a head injury 12 years ago, I have tried a lot of different therapies for my headaches, migraines, and neck pain (both traditional medicine and non traditional treatments). And while some things have helped temporarily, I have always continued to have a headache on my left temple. I got an hour massage and quite honestly it felt like she just had a direct line to my tension and she worked like it was choreographed, but it felt great. At one point she asked to touch my face, normally I would say no because my head always hurts, but like I said, it just seemed like she had such a good flow going. When my head, face and neck massage was over the pain in my left temple was gone. Even touching my head would feel painful, like it had been bruised. But after the head, face and neck massage it didn’t hurt to touch my head either. Was this the most traditional spa experience I have ever had? No. Was it the best massage I have ever had? Heck yeah, my 12 year old headache is gone, it’s like having a chance at a new life. I recommend this place.

I booked a massage for my mom at 5:30 PM, and then I received a text message from pushing my appointment to 6:00 PM as they forgot they had two appointments at 5:00 PM. Okay, not a big deal so as we walked in they required payment upfront. When she gave me the receipt to sign the paper, she said there was a mandatory tip of 30%. In my head I was like “what? mandatory?” They nearly forced me to pay 30%, which I did not appreciate. I was going to give a tip but tips depend on how well of a service is done too. Just an overall poor first experience, and would not recommend and would not ever come back.

When I called they never even asked for my name which should of been my first clue that they werent professional when I got there they wanted money up front and didnt even give me my change right away it was left on the table in room when i got dressed had to wait 15 minutes my door was cracked open the whole timeduring my massage the other worker even opened the door and started talking to the lady giving me my massage the massage wasnt even good didnt get any of my kinks out she used her elbows and forearms more than anything. Definitely wouldnt recommend this place or go back

Have visited this massage facility a number of time, it is an extremely clean and knowledgeable shop, the staff has always had a smile and happy disposition while provide a most professional and pleasant massage, certainly one of the best shops in the Fox Valley
