The 10th Frame

We recently hosted a baby shower at the 10th Frame, and they exceeded all our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety that pleased everyone. The service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was perfect for our celebration, and all our guests had a wonderful time. 10/10 highly recommend the 10th Frame for any event. Thanks again, Chad, Kathy, Sarah, and staff for making our day so special!

Went to get lunch with a friend. Slot machines always pays out for her. Im not a gambler. Food was good. Bartender was good. Wasnt crowded but good experiences.

Good size bar with many choices to choice from. Smaller bowling alley brings you back to pencil scoring. Fun for all ages. Clean environment. Great staff,Also has some good food. Also have rooms to rent for birthdays ,baby showers ,retirement partys etc.

Fabulous new party space! Be sure to get a firm written quote before booking with all payment options spelled out. Great add-ons available with bowling and touch tunes. When the floor and bar are complete it could be even better

Just went for the band and drinks. Their new space is awesome. American Platinum band was fantastic.

We are new to the area, so I decided to go on Groupon and see what this area has to offer. I came across this place, we are big on good food. Needless to say this place was AMAZING!!!!!! we ordered the wings, burger, pretzel bites and chicken nachos. They payed close attention to detail and it was much Appreciated! The chicken on the nachos were even seasoned! which I did not expect so this made my day. 😍 They made sure their was ranch, sour cream, salsa, fries and cheese on the side. This is a new spot for us now and I want to give a big thank you to the staff for making our experience here a great one. We will be back soon for more :) Did I mention this was take out and they still managed to make our experience one of the best I have ever had.

10th Frame has the Number 1, Best Hamburgers in the known Universe, but hey, dont take my word for it! You stop in and try one and I am sure you will agree 👍 let me know 😉

Sunday Funday Go Pack Go! Cool things during packer game. Still great service. There was free food, but I got something different, delicious 😋 Great atmosphere. Cant wait till the remodel is done.

Chicken tenderloins were good, service was nice, bowling alley was a good thing to do after dinner. nice place!

Family run. Mom cooks, daughter tends the bar and waitresses, the son does the money and the main run of the business. Went there for lunch with my 11 year old daughter two days ago. She was fundraising. Its a local bowling alley. So, needless to say, I didnt have high hopes of getting great food. However, both my daughter and I were left speechless and full. This place is: 5 star food, 5 star prices, and 5 star staff. We ordered: 2 kiddie cocktails, deep-fried cauliflower, garlic parmesan boneless wings, chili dog and fries daily special, and a chef salad. Total bill: $35!!!! Under $30 without the sodas. So, $15 per appetizer/meal combo. Better yet, ALL ingredients were fresh and homemade. The meat is from our local butcher shop (Jacobs Meat Market). Even the ranch dressing was made from scratch. Fries were cut and made from scratch. Boneless wings? You guessed it, chicken from the butcher and breading, seasoning, sauce from scratch. If you have never been YOU MUST GO!!! Cheapest bowling around with 5 star food!!!

We had our son’s birthday here in January. It was a great location and fun for all ages. The service was great- even though they were short staffed (like so many restaurants and bars these days) they did a great job making sure we were well taken care of.

Good beer selection and good foods. Definitely a favorite appleton spot.

If you’re sick of those high end fancy so called Bowling establishments, the 10th frame is the place to go. It’s like a step back in time when it really is a Bowling Alley. No computer scoring, no underground ball returns and no couches. Pencil & a score sheet is your computer and molded fiberglass chairs is what you’ll sit it. 16 lanes of pure bowling fun. The bar is about as big as the bowling area with great drink prices and food. If you’re a serious bowler this place is NOT for you. There is no oil on the lanes and the house balls are a mess. But if you’re like me and love the oldies, this place is for you.

They have the best food! You must try the buttermilk breaded flounder on Friday! The chicken tenders are light and crunchy and the burgers are so, so good! Servicenis outstanding. Truly a hidden gem of fantastic food and you can get a game or two of bowling in as well.

Have not bowled here so I cant include that in my rating. Theres a bar you can sit around and also a good number of tables that were more like kitchen islands with maybe 8 chairs each which I loved. It was a really laid back atmosphere yet lively, with a classic feel yet modern. They have touchtunes which is a plus so you can play whatever music you want. Bathrooms were clean. Drinks were a fair price. Definitely reccomend coming here if youre tired of the same old same old.

I went there for Bowling! Haha, game me such old school vibes where I have to write my points down on a paper. Just 2.5$ for one whole round!!! Shoes were good enough! The bowling alley was smooth and niceee

Did some bowling and had quesadillas. They have really good food at the 10th frame good prices good fun good time all the way around bring your family.

Good burger, beer is cold. No complaints. Bowling alley is old but not busy for littles to bowl a game.

Wouldnt let me sit at a shorter table so I could use the baby seat they had available.

Food was incredible! Definitely made with love. The waitress was also my bar tender and did a fantastic job and was on top of not only my and my significant other’s experience but everyone else’s aswell.

Most excllent made to order local pizza. Eat there or take and bake back at home. I just did. 420° for 20 minutes .

Bar, eating area and bathrooms have just had a great redo. Long beautiful bar with many big screen TVs for viewing sports. Nice menu with really good food. Wonderful friendly service. Bowling area next to the bar and dining area is walled off, with windows...still undergoing renovation at the time of my visit.

Awesome place! It is a one stop place for the day, along with a bowling alley, cocktail and dining lounge and a terrific bar with the most delicious food. There is a great variety of items on the menu, something for everyone, they even have Friday fish and the BEST PIZZA in town! We have been there several times now and will continue to stop whenever we get a chance.

Do people work here? Waited over 30 mins to get a drink on two bartenders on a busy Saturday night. Owner needs to staff appropriately. Used to love coming here but not for it to take a year to get a drink.

Great neighborhood type bar. Wonderful specials every day of the week. Thursday their steak sandwich is only $6.50. cant beat their Sunday chicken special,$8.25 for a delicious chicken dinner.

We really loved this place! The bowling is nice; older, but fully functional. The atmosphere has the old school bowling alley feel mixed with a more modern sports bar. But what really did it for us, was the staff. They were SO friendly. It was just a really positive experience overall.

Staff is very friendly and I have never had a bad experience. My friends and I go bowling at least once a week as sort of a tradition and we usually have the most fun here. Cheap games and shoes and its never been crowded when we went. There was even one night where the bartender opened up the bowling alley for us late even though it had closed, and I appreciate the girl bartender who did that!! I hope to be back more often!

Got take out burgers that were pretty good, standard bar food. We probably would have gone in for bowling, but we arent interested in scoring our own games and their open bowling times seemed inconsistent.

Great place to go for any reason. I think they even do private groups but anyone else can walk tho and still hang. I havent had any problem anytime that I remember with any person or staff and its keep up and neat. I went this last time with a friend and it was busy but there was a party. We sat down eat had a drink and talked. Music wasnt to loud but loud enough at the same time. We didnt bowl there that time its just close to my house and its good food. Dont got 1 thing wrong to say. Great place all the time.

We went there on a Saturday night. It was not super crowded. The bowling was very cheap (like $10 per person including shoes). They dont have a computer scoring system, so they provide you with the score sheet and a pencil. Make sure you know how to calculate your scores. We ordered pizza and wings. Both were delicious and fairly priced! The service was good. The bar was a little loud but the bowling area was much quieter so we brought our food out there to eat while be bowled.

I would never order the 1/3lb burger again it wasnt any different than McDonalds..my friend got the 1/2lb that looked much better...Ill know next time..service was good...

Normally we eat in, the food is amazing and the service is excellent, but tonight I had to order to go. Im allergic to green peppers, so I ordered a pizza, and asked for no peppers.I didnt check before I left, but found the pizza had peppers so I called and let them know. Pretty sure the owner delivered the replacement pizza himself! And he had no idea I was a regular customer!!

Always great soups and food. This place never fails to disappoint. They are always offering new food specials and always at least 4 soups to choose from. Cooking is exceptional. Discovered this place about 4 months ago and find that I am a weekly regular customer. Prices very reasonable—inexpensive—and cooks and bartenders always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!!

Nice place and good food.

Great place to take your kids to introduce them to bowling in a casual environment. The equipment is dated but that is part of the experience. The owner is friendly and so is the staff. There are some craft beers on tap and the kitchen menu is pretty standard fare for the area. My only regret is I dont come here enough.

Customer service is lacking, tried to call and order like we had for the past year and told we had to order in person. Ordered in person and when picking up at window rudely pointed to front door. When inside waited forever for someone to help me, got home and the fries are not done, we are now cooking them in our air fryer. Poor customers service, poor options for ordering = no more 10th frame.

Fun for the whole family. Bowling, good drinks & fun atmosphere. And the food is delicious. They even have a little outside window to pickup food if you dont want to go inside to get it.

I had never tried the wings from there. They didnt disappoint. Large bone-in wings and dummies. Ill definitely order them again. We also had drinks so that bumped up the price per person.

I went to Tenth Frame for lunch today and was extremely satisfied. The service was fast and the burgers were amazing. The prices are decent but typical of good bar food. Every time my soda was 1/2 full the bartenders asked if i needed a refill. Ill definitely be coming back especially to check out the fish fry.

I had read good reviews about the place and ordered the Friday night seafood platter. Worse seafood ever! The scallops tasted like paper-wrapped balls of dough and the perch barely tasted like perch. I will not be ordering from them again. Total waste of money.

Basically, a nice place with a good menu for a bar. I tried a burger I hadnt had before and wasnt thrilled but there are quite a few items I want to try. My wife had the haddock and loved it.

The bar is great the bowling alley is frustrating. We went bowling yesterday and had tons of issues with the lane not returning the ball and it took forever to get help. Do not come here when it is busy or it will take a while to get a lane as well as have any issues resolved. The bar is amazing and the food is great for it being a bowling alley which was a nice surprise. With it being within walking distance to my in-laws it is the perfect location.

Its a nice enough place, decent for parties, as I went for a birthday party, but it just feels run down in some parts of it. The bathroom feels brand new but the actual bowling alley feels very rundown.

We had a good time. Food is good, especially the burgers. Priced right for portion size. Good tap beer selection. Bowling is very old school. Nothing electronic so you better know how to score. Shoes are good quality, but balls have lived a rough life as have the lanes. Mechanicals can be a bit wonky. Still, we had alot of fun. Staff is friendly and works really hard to meet customer needs. Will definitely go back.

This place has an excellent fish fry. They poor a good drink, and you can bowl here for fun. This food is worth the stop, give it a try. You wont be sorry

Great food! Great fun! I had the Hahns King Pin and my wife had the Strike burger. Wow Tasty! Very friendly and efficient staff. Being a Saturday, they handled the crowd very well.

Casual relaxed atmosphere, better than typical barfare. The soups are airways amazing and the onion rings leave me ready for the afterlife! I love the staff...always attendance to my wants and needs, and super super friendly.

The food is good bar food, exactly what youd want from a place like this. The bowling is dated, but not having the fancy screens and having to record your own scores makes it more fun in my opinion! Friendly staff as well. Will definitely be back!

Service was great with friendly staff. Bowling lanes and equipment in poor order. Lanes return Balls through gutters half the time so you have to catch it so it doesnt bust your ankles. Balls are all in really bad shape. Shoes are falling apart with holes in most of them.Focus seems to be on the bar.

I had a pretty tall order! New to the area and a Widow I was looking for SAFE, Super CLEAN and if I could get a GREAT MENU that would be a definite winner! But throw in KIND, FRIENDLY and AFFORDABLE - now that was asking way too much! Well, I hit the ‘ultimate string’ at the 10th Frame in Appleton! Chad, the owner and Kathy his Mother were so exceptionally kind and Jessica, the bartender really was the ‘seal the deal’. She was so accommodating and full of hints and suggestions for a new Appleton resident. I totally felt safe and will look forward to seeing them all again! The Nachos were fabulous!

I asked a couple locals from a different spot a couple questions and they told me 10th Frame.They and 10th were spot on with everything. Loved the haddock, but the service was even better.Trista was spot on with everything! I’ll be back if I’m in the area. Thanks guys!

Really enjoyed our family gathering here. The updates/renovations are amazing. There were a lot of people and everyone looked to be enjoying themselves.

I like it. Nice place for friends, bowling sports tv and food. HOWEVER the two gentlemen WORKING the kitchen neither wore latex gloves. Yuk. They were handling pita bread, buns and alike. PUT YOUR GLOVES ON ITS THE LAW. But it is an overall cool place. Chris, Ohio.

Our server was very friendly and the food was very good. Bowling has that Ole time feeling and doing your own scoring which we like.

Just want to share something here that these days is hard to find....... We recently held a company event here. Bowling, food, drinks, and raffles. The 10th frame accommodated us and our needs beyond expectations, and that isn’t even the best part☺️ The food!!! All of it was prepared perfectly and delicious, and those wings were AMAZING 🙌🏻 Carmen and Whitney were outstanding from start to finish, never waited for a drink, refill, or even a napkin. 🤣 Highly recommend EVERYTHING here. Thank you 10th Frame and staff!!!

Service is fast and friendly. I had the Grilled Chicken Salad with cranberries and walnuts and it was fantastic.

They were very accommodating for my daughter with a ramp and bumpers to bowl. That pizza was really good from what I heard. I cant have gluten so I couldnt try it but overall service was great.

Great pizza. Very friendly staff and food is cooked quickly. The bonus is the bowling. Never been an issue getting a lane and the bowing cost is very reasonable.

When there for a surprise birthday party and used their back room. The steak burger was delicious and service was on point.

The 10th Frame is a bowling alley that serves food not your typical bowling alley food they have an all you can eat white fish on Fridays paired with a salad bar for only $13 plus change our server bartender which wonderful very considerate ferry times whatever lacked in the food for wonderful service made up for it. The Whitefish was okay you certainly got served enough on the first serving which I did not need to ask for more.We will return and try some of the other fish items on the Friday menu.They have other fair that we did not sample that we will definitely return soon.

Great prices, great atmosphere, great bar food. Its a great place to go for snacks and drinks. And if you want to bowl, theres a small bowling alley in the back. Theyve got plenty of TVs to watch games throughout the bar. Its a staple of the Appleton community.

Good food and service. It is more of a bar and restaurant than a bowling alley. They make a good pizza! Fun place to watch sports. If you do come for bowling, just know that you have to keep score manually - hope you know how. :)

Great local place & staple in the community. Owners are local and work there often. Great oldschool pencil and paper scoring. Good food too! Hosted my work party there and they were super helpful and easy to work with.

The 10th Frame was wonderful to work with. We needed a meeting room, a light lunch & 2 games of bowling for 32 4-H members & they did a great job hosting us! The meeting room was a bit small for our group however, Chad, Kathy & the others did there best to work with us. Thank you!!

What a fun nostalgic place to go if you want to do a little bowling have a few drinks and grab a bite to eat, friendly staff.

Friday fish fry good. Burgers very good. Had not been here for awhile but a vast improvement.

This is so outdated it makes me mad. You have to record your own points on a piece of PAPER. Super bowl or saber lanes are way better and i wouldn’t spend 5 dollars in this place. The bar is good but there’s no other activity’s to.

Their Belly Buster Fish sandwich is huge! Love it! And their steak sandwich was cooked perfectly! Thanks for a GREAT dinner! I will recommend this to everyone!

Nice cozy place, obviously been here a while. Old school bowling Hall, good was good, service was good as well. The said was huge, chili was pretty good, gutter wrap was as described. Cris cut Frieda were great.

Mostly bar with small alley in the back, I just really love this place. Cheap bowling, good food, relaxed atmosphere. Be ready to keep your own score because these lanes are old school including over lane ball returns.

Had fun bowling, couldnt get any service at the bar for drink, even while holding money. One of the bartenders even seemed too busy taking a shot with another group while 2 others kept on walking past. Probably great if all you want to do is bowl and not drink...

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Im not much for bars/taverns generally, but Idcome back here. I cant speak to the alcohol selection as I ordered a whiskey neat with Jameson.

Just came in on Friday for dinner, my buddy bought $20 in pull tabs and won $31. Our meal was interrupted by Appleton PD due to the bar accusing my buddy of passing a fake ticket because she saw a scam on Facebook. The cops checked the cameras which proved he was innocent; however during this time the bar staff treated us as we were 100% guilty. Closed out our tabs, wouldnt serve us drink, and was told they were just doing their jobs. In the end, they had to pay the money out (behind my buddies back as he talked with the cops). Didnt even have the courtesy to say sorry. Bartender Trista needs to learn some customer service along with her inadequate blonde helper. The cops explained to her to not believe everything she reads on Facebook.

Overpriced bowling with terrible lanes. The balls do not return, in the two games we played we had to have an employee retrieve our balls over 5 times.

Decent bowling. Certainly showed its age. We had some issues with the lane we were on with the balls not returning. Staff was very helpful though in assisting us whenever there was an issue with the lane.

This is the perfect example of a great bar/bowling alley. Bar area is great with live music and good food. Always packed on Friday evenings for fish fry. They have a nice little 20ish lane bowling alley attached. It is very old school with simple ball returns and you even keep your own score. I like that they dont charge up front for bowling. Get your shoes and play as many games as you want and then pay up when youre done.

I dont bowl very often. However, when I do it is a nice bowling alley. The main reason I go there is my hairdresser leases a space, from Chad the owner. Chad is a very very nice guy!

I want to throw up. For me to be writing this place sucks. Horrible service. Brought half our food 10 min apart. 16 dollar plate looked like a happy meal . Everything overpriced. Will not be going back

Me and my husband and one of our friends. Went to 10th Frame that lanes are so beat up and they look like lanes has to been upgraded since they was sold to 10th frame owners. And the bowling the bowling balls needs to be replaced too.

If youre coming here for bar food and drinks, its a great place with great service. However, if you wanna come here for legit bowling, go somewhere else. Lanes are trash and you run into the risk of chipping your ball with their style of ball return. Plus they dont really oil their lanes

Computer scoring? Disco balls and black lights? Get that stuff out of here. Get in your time machine and bowl like its 1986!The bar is nice and the pizza is great too.

Bartender Spent a little too much time chit chatting. Probably to regulars. Not a good way to get more regulars... other than that, the other patrons are a bit cliquey. Overall, not a very welcoming place.

The 10th Frame was very accommodating for our event. Its a nice neighborhood venue. If you are serious into bowling this is not the bowling alley you want to Bowl at. The bowling alley needs some TLC.

This is a bar that you can go bowling at. You have to keep score on your own as there is no automated screen or scoring. Its not a very big place. But a great bar/bowling alley.

My girlfriends and I came for a drink and when I made the mistake of playing a song that didnt sit well with a group of other customers (all bro d bags) the (female) bartenders started to make cocktails that were all mixer no liquor in an attempt to make us leave.The bro d bags literally yelled at us as they walked past us to go smoke.We dont fit the profile of your clientele basically.

They accommodated our entire girls volleyball team AND parents on short notice for our out of town tournament.

Do NOT bring your own ball! The return system is old and poorly maintained.. It will gouge your ball. The pattern on the lane was real dry when I was there.

Brandon invited me to check this place out and it was everything he said it was. I got the belly buster and it was really good. Will definitely be back

The bar has good food and drink service but the lanes are worn out with manual scoring and lots of resets on our lanes.

If you are looking for a modern bowling experience, then go anywhere else. The facts are simple worn ragged shoes, chipped and scuffed balls that roll like a six sided rock. Lanes that break down every fourth roll.

Bar tender was rude the minute we walked in, we bowled and the balls kept getting stuck and one of the bowlers threw their ball and one of the balls fell off the conveyer and hit the rack and she yelled at us for it. Terrible service

Food is pretty good. Waitstaff is alright but this is a bowling alley and the lanes are a joke. Don’t come here to bowl.

Bowling alleys were dry and looked like they were still from the 1960s. Still had to write your scores on a paper sheet. Pricey, paid $11.50 for a pitcher of beer.

Small bar/bowling alley. 10th frame boasts 16 lanes. Often busy on weekends. If you are looking for a laid back place, stop in.

Food was just OK, be aware the bowling is old school as in no electronic scoring or notification of how many pins go down.

Bartenders were really nice...drinks good, but lanes were run down and seem in need of repair.
