Great place, strange location but the crowd and vibe is in point. Ive had nothing but excellent times there. Prices are right and the owner is always willing to chat with you.. Youll be accepted with open arms and smiles.

This place always has a welcoming vibe! It is so much fun, relaxed, and always a good time! You definitely need to check them out! Open comedy mic on Mondays, poker on Tuesdays, and Trivia on Thursdays! The drag shows are always top notch as well! Great drink prices too, you won’t be disappointed!

I want to say your bartenders that were their Saturday were top notch. I took my best friend out there early since she can’t see at night and she hasn’t been out in a long time and I tell you we felt so welcomed and we had great conversations with the bartenders. I use to go to your club years ago and always felt welcomed then and I got the same feeling Saturday night. I can’t wait to go back! Actually I’m coming back Saturday!

First lets say this is a dive bar but they own it to the fullest. The crowd is a lot of misfits but no ones judging which is great. They have top notch bartenders and its got a very small family feel to it. The drinks are cheap and the pouring is long and they go to a lot of effort to provide entertainment throughout the night. The owner is there most nights and he walks around and checks to make sure people are having a good time. Texans take pride in what they create and this place might be missed in the blink of an eye as you drive by but inside this hole in the wall is a group of people working hard to make people feel safe and part of a community.

OMG best espresso martini the dark chocolate is the best topper and best martini i’ve ever had! Needs to be a staple love love love kris. will be returning for this martini definitely.

Love that it’s a vibe. Dark and fun ambient lighting on the stage and bars. Great music and comfortable crowd. Bartenders are quick and even the owner will come up and check in with you to make sure you’re enjoying yourself.

As someone from Austin, Texas, the performances were quirky, up beat and side-splittingly entertaining! The drag queens were exceptionally talented and charismatic, along with a friendly staff! The atmosphere was filled with love and acceptance, making for an incredible experience overall. I enthusiastically recommend Club 1851 – its definitely a 5-star venue. Believe I found a new home after moving here!Thank you for this memorable time! So looking forward to returning to this wonderful and safe venue! 💋

Seriously such a welcoming place. Dalton the owner saw us standing because all the tables were taken and went out of his way to find us a seat. Entertainment is top tier and drinks are priced well. If youre looking for something fun to do in Arlington I definitely recommend 1851!

From the time we walked in the atmosphere was amazing!! The bartenders were great, drinks were amazing. The owner even took the time to introduce himself and welcome as first timers. The drag show was so fun and amazing. The pools tables kept us busy until the show started. Dj has music playing the whole time so you can dance and just let loose.

Plans got cancelled so we looked for places to go on a whim. This is the first spot I saw and the reviews were so good…I had to be nosey! I honestly thought these ppl were getting free drinks for 5 star reviews or something. I was WRONG as hell, the place is just eventful and they deserve the praising.I kept seeing things about the owner, Dalton and I was like “this man sure seems kind!”. Spoiler Alert…I met him and I’ve never met a kinder person! They are so darn sweet and easy to talk to! I kid you not, I felt so much comfort just staring in his eyes 😂😂😂. I’d he even real? Lol! We even talked about hair styling and I enjoyed every moment of it.The show was fun, the hosts were hilarious! The ladies were so talented and beautiful!!This is my new chill place and I’ll definitely be back!!I read the only 1 star review so dramatically 😂! I was looking for “Thyme or Time” so I could say hi! Lmao They weren’t there though. Ugh!

I absolutely love 1851! Their drag show is super fun and the guy who does the lights for the show does a fantastic job. I’m always taken care of by the bartenders, Tyme is my absolute favorite and she always takes the time to be personable with me. It’s a great free open atmosphere and I love that I don’t have to dress to impress! Recommend!

I love coming to 1851 because of how welcoming they are. Plus they are the only LGBT bar in Arlington. I had been going there since 2021. But tonight I was escorted out because I was apparently being rude. Look, I work 6 days a week, I just wanted to have a drink and catch the rest of the drag show.I spend a good amount of money there, and always recommend this spot to anyone who ask about a good place to grab a drink. I don’t feel entitled to anything because I am a regular but I’ve never ever had a problem with staff before, and I’ve be been pretty drunk before. The bartender said I was rude but she completely ignored me and was helping other people before me, I tried to address it, she immediately wanted me to leave, I was escorted out, she involved Dalton the owner, again I don’t feel any sense of entitlement, I just wanted to grab a drink and watch the rest of the drag show. I was taken outside then brought back in and the bartender Thyme or Time (however she spells her name) was telling me how I rude,(spoke to me like I was a child) so to just put an end to it (because I hate hostility and animosity) I apologized and she just kept prolonging the situation, when I just wanted to apologize and move on. She said I could go ahead and grab one drink but that was it, no ma’am you will not talk to me like that, and I will absolutely not stay in a place where I feel someone is being hostile towards me. Long story short, I won’t be back, I love what the club does and the joy the entertainers and the rest of the staff bring. I myself just won’t be back, it wasn’t the first time the girl was rude to me (she always seems to be in a bad mood) but regardless of her a big shout out to Carly and Shane, my favorites. You really did lose a good customer. I wish 1851 the best, but I can’t and won’t deal with the level of disrespect. I do like the fact that Dalton backed up his staff but I know I wasn’t in the wrong, I patiently waited to even just be acknowledged but I didn’t even get that.Again, best wishes to 1851 but that’s the end of that establishment for me.This was my experience, I had plenty more great ones than bad ones but it’s the bartender who did it for me.

The star was so friendly and the atmosphere was such a good vibe. The lovely girlie who was performing saw us come in and greeted us right away. The gummy worm drink was so good and paired well with the sour gummy candy’s. Decent price drinks too.

The bartender told me and my friends to keep it down because they had complaints on me and two other friends being loud in an extremely rude manner. She said she didn’t want to hear us. Even though we were just having a great time. That killed our good time. Will never go back there. I tried giving it a chance even thought I was told to never go there over ten years ago. Some things never change!!!!

If youre looking for something glitzy and fancy, go somewhere else. If youre looking for somewhere relaxing and friendly without feeling seedy or dangerous, then 1851 Club is a great place to go! Drinks are reasonable, drag shows are a lot of fun, and a small patio area out back to relax as well!

Such a cute place. Love the positive energy but happen to come when a concert was canceled so wait was a little long for a drink. The outside is nicely lit and covered to be comfortable. Would suggest a speaker or something for the smokers or introverts :) cause we love options!

Went there with my fiancé for the first time about 2 weeks ago, we had fun, drinks are great, show was very entertaining and we like the fact that the security guard saw us parking outside (from cameras inside) in an open field and immediately walked outside to direct us across the street so we would not get our car towed. That was pretty cool he did that. This place is a fun place and we felt safe and welcomed!

Its crazy how everyone I talk too here has had a bad interaction with the owner Dalton. He literally will walk up to you and disrespect you and you see it happen in front of your face to others you dont even know. Its a bad power trip. And he is pushing money away from his own business! Not to mention he will walk up and give you a free jello shot if you leave a good review and he treats you like a dog receiving a treat in the process.We love the bartenders and entertainers but the owner is spoiling his own establishment.

My partner and I moved here a year ago. When people are visiting or we want to go out but not downtown, 1851 is the spot. Fri/Sat nights after 10:30pm is when it gets busy for the Drag shows. Friendly staff, Host and Owner!

I went to this club the other night with some friends to see the DragShow. It was my first time attending the club and the environment was very relaxing and fun! The show was entertaining, amazing performers, good prices, and a cute and CLEAN womens restroom. Had such a good memorable time with my friends and cant wait for the next show!

Visiting from out of town- came here after the Lady Gaga concert. Very friendly staff. Small and intimate space inside. The queens working were great! Little tip: if the parking lot is full, DONT park on the grass next to the building; the cops may tow your car. Instead, park across the street at the collision center.

The establishment is one of the most friendliest and welcoming places for LGBTQIA+ individuals and everyone else that I have ever been to in eons. I frequently come to this establishment and every time feels almost like a second home. The bartenders are amazing, the setting and decoration is small, yet decadent, and the drag shows (every Friday and Saturday night) are truly a sight to behold. Every friend that I have invited always told me that they had an amazing time, and I advise that you very much do the same if you are looking to either satisfy your thirst with reasonably priced beverages or want to be bedazzled by the talents of the astonishing queens every Friday and Saturday night.

The queens were stunning and gave everyone a great night they did a little birthday special for me and some other birthday fellows loved loved loved it had to leave around midnight but Id love to come back and Ill be recommending to my special friends, the bar owner also came up to our table and asked how we were doing and explained the history and all the other wonderful events they offer like game nights and karaoke nights etc. Best 21st birthday ever I was completely starstruck shout out to Aries Noir 🤩

1851 is the best bar in the area!!! Sometimes, going out to bars can be stressful and just not a good time. Every time at 1851, I feel welcomed. It can feel like walking into a friends home. Like the show Cheers, It is a place where everyone can know your name. The drag show is always so much fun with the best performers in town. The bartenders are quick and friendly, and the security welcomes you in all while making sure we are safe. Im so glad this place exists, especially in this location.

The only lgbtq+ bar in Arlington. Totally inclusive. Drag show every Fri and Sat. Karaoke on Wed. Thursday they have a talent competition for $100 (winners have sang, danced, even read spoken word)! Super chill place to hang out, they have award winning jello shots too!

The entertainment was soo good. Songs that had you up and singing. Everyone was so nice and the management is so handsome on and friendly.

First time EVER going to a drag and and i promise you it will not be my last. Super amounts of entertaining, fun, easy to get along atmosphere. The girls are wonderful performers!

When I first PCS to the DFW in 2017 I found 1851 upon a Google search. Nothing but good times. Fast forward I PCS back to DFW in January 2023. A friend and I went and Rusty patted us down and wasnt friendly and all, the patrons that came in behind us who werent as melanated as us Rusty told them to go on in that they didnt look dangerous. I once LOVED this place one of the few safe places where people like us (LBGTQ+) could gather, have fun and a good time. Rusty left a bad taste in my mouth. Definitely wont be returning.

My second time here and I absolutely love it from the drinks to the show just wonderful and i can not forget the owner he is the most sweetest person I have every met. Please come out and you will have a wonderful time !!!

Omg was my first time there i loved it. Bartenders where super sweet, crowd was friendly and accepting and dam was even selling girl scout cookies. loved it loved it loved it !!! I was nerves when i got there was alone and didnt know any one people made me feel welcome very soon after cant say enough how much i loved it. Small town bar in the middle of mid cities its great !!!

My husband and I have been coming to 1851 since before the move. Ive got to say that tonight was so much fun, the performers entertained very well, the drinks and service was good. One of the best nights weve had here in a VERY long time.

This place is so good. Everything is so clean, well decorated, and the bar team is awesome. Especially Riley - what a genuine guy. I totally recommend a visit to this place which has apparently been here since the 1960s. Long may it continue to provide a safe haven for our LGBTQI community to have fun.

Definitely disappointed in this place!!My friend was there the late one night by his self and the bartender over served him way too much and then let him leave in his car. he almost hurt a-lot of people (thank god he didn’t!) and managed to make it back to the bar and call me. i fussed at the bartender and asked for the manager and was told there was no manager at the bar and but the bartender seems like it wasn’t a bit deal when it definitely was or even cared for that matter. it just seems like he didnt not care or think for his safety of his customers or the safety of others at all! not enough to see the obvious signs that he was WAY too drunk. I know theres probably not much point in physically stopping someone but why didn’t they try to prevent it but not over serving him and making sure her was ok. there was only like 6 people in there. they should think about this when someone get hurt or dies from a drunk driver the bar is completely liable for over serving a person and letting them . i think the bartenders need better training in situations like that because this is extremely serious.

Cool staff, friendly and personable. Will visit again next time we visit my in-laws. Only thing is that they dont play music here. We went around 5pm and had to play music off my phone while playing pool. They should have a house system that plays around the jukebox.

This was our second time here, and both experiences have been great! The hostesses are hilarious, the performances are amazing, and the ownership is incredibly welcoming. We love it here!

This bar has been my putting for the past few weekends. My friends always enjoy the atmosphere and drag shows. I would recommend checking out the club. They will always have my business.

I went there several times back in 2008 when I lived in Arlington and must say that everyone from the gracious club owner to the generous bartenders and the gorgeous door guy were always polite welcoming and made me feel like I belonged. Their cheap but delicious drinks were magical and even had a free buffet for thanksgiving that meant the world to me since I lived alone with no friends or family around. I preferrd this bar over any in Dallas hands down and still think of their hunky doorman from time to time. They deserve eternal success for being great all around.~Mia

My friend and I came on a wednesday (coz it was her last night here) so we expected it would be dead. And it was. But my friend and I would come back simply coz the bartenders were so nice. We ended up staying there for 3 hours talking with him. We would go back on a weekend next time and see how fun the place can get.

Ok Im a trans women . Most friendly and fun place ever I new all the queens from rainbow lounge . I love this place . I know me being trans has nothing to do with anything . So u would think . But if another trans women is looking for a fun safe place to have fun . Then well it does . Such great atmosphere
