Worst customer service EVER. Rude, unprofessional and condescending. I’m not surprised that everyone is complaining about the same thing but apparently they don’t seem to care. I wasted over a year of monthly payments to have just used them ONCE. NEVER AGAIN. Talk about wasted money. Do yourself a favor and save your money …. or at least switch to a location that actually appreciates their loyal members and their hard earned money!!!
Do Not Go To THESE SCAMMERS!!! I called to schedule an appointment and gave my credit card over the phone to reserve then had to cancel due to a family emergency and asked if I could reschedule or even get a complimentary credit since my card was charged in advance NEVER WANTED A REFUND and they NEVER HELPED ME! I kept calling to see if this matter could get resolved and they REFUSED to provide services!! They kept giving me the run arounds abt when the Manager would be in then I finally had to come in person to catch her just for her to give me the run arounds and said she had to call corporate to resolve the issue she never called and I never heard back from them EVER SINCE!!
I am giving 4 stars because there is only one masseuse at this location that has ever made me feel like I didnt waste my money. I would share his name, but he is already often booked up. Im just going to keep him a secret. If he ever left, I probably would cancel my membership.
Do not recommend and will never return here. Honestly wish I could give them 0/5 stars. They gave my husband a phoney/unloaded gift card which he paid $100 for. Unfortunately, I found this out as I was checking out from my prenatal massage. When I called the massage clinic manager to resolve the gift card issue, they were unable to find the transaction despite giving them the day and time my husband purchased it, down to the 1 hr window (to my husband’s disadvantage, he paid cash and didn’t keep the receipt). So either they don’t track cash transactions or their worker pocketed the money. Either way, both shady scenarios. Anyway, I had to wait 2 hours in their lobby for them to try and resolve the issue. My husband also showed up to help, spotted the girl who checked him out with the gift card… she saw him, walked to the back of the clinic, and never came back out while he was there. SHADY… Mind you, I was 8 months pregnant and let me tell you… the massage effects (that I actually really enjoyed) completely wore off. They tried to make me pay $70 and they would “figure out the remaining $50.” I refused bc why would I pay an extra $70 for a $120 massage that my husband already paid $100 for in a gift card balance???? All because of an irresponsible or poorly trained staff member. They were ridiculous and said they would pull the tapes but it would take some time to which my husband said PLEASE DO so you can see me walk in here and pay for this gift card. Ended up going home after 2.5 hours of waiting for a resolution. They called my husband two days after the incident and said they “solved the case” but gave no further explanation.
At first it was good at this one but I moved to a different one and have to say it alot better the last five appointment I made at this one the associated that I had a appointment canceled at least 4 to 5 times so I went to a different location and the manager didnt give me any kind of credit or any think to make up for this that why I gave them a two star

I was sent a confirmation of wellness text message in the 9am hour of my appointment. I was then called and a voicemail message was left about an hour later. The message said that my appointment of the day was cancelled. I called back to express my dissatisfaction, disappointment, and concern because I had already received my Covid 19 check-in, already took off of work that day and was looking forward to my appointment. The business manager by the name of Angelica or something like that showed ZERO thoughtfulness and consideration that my therapist had to cancel an hour before. I told her that my work schedule is hectic and that the least they could do was offer an enchantment on my next appointment. SHE SAID NO. A $10 offer for canceling not only the day of but the hour of! I then asked if she was the franchise owner, which I knew she was not, and she said yes. If she is in business for herself, I feel sorry for that location because just because you have a legitimate business, doesnt mean that you have a GOOD business and there are actually enough ME locations around to choose another, as I have in the past. I did enjoy the therapist but would not give this location the time of day again because she was SO SHORT AND RUDE. No customer service at all with her and if I was owner, I would sit her down and tell her proper business acumen if she wanted to continue to stay employed.Bottom line, if an appointment was cancelled at the last hour, not at the hands of the client, and the franchise could not accommodate appropriately, it is NOT the clients fault if they cannot magically change their schedule to fit the leftovers of the day. ME charges if a client cancels their appointment last hour, why cant the client get shown a similar gesture if the tables were turned. Not good. Not good at all for this location.

Nice massage experience in a clean facility. Staff has always been polite and friendly. Prices are fairly high but can be mitigated by their membership program. There are a fair amount of spa-type add-on features that I have not tried, but have always had a positive massage experience. Would reccomend, although they book up fast and it can be difficult to keep the same massage therapist.
Great massage from Melissa, she was excellent. Staff in front was great too. We tried to schedule our second appointment and left messages, finally I called back and spoke to a lady. She had no clue what to do, she put me on hold and got disconnected. I called back and no answer, I left another message. I called on the third day, they argued with me saying I never left messages and they lied saying there was no manager on duty. I regret getting our memberships there, they cant call us back to schedule a massage. The manager named Amanda was very rude to me. She didnt try to resolve any issues. Not even try another location to get us in sooner. Terrible people worked there on July 20, 2016. Take this review seriously. And read all reviews ahead of time before you get a membership.All we wanted was a response call to schedule our appointment. Now We just want to cancel after the treatment we received from Amanda.

The service at this location is Horrible! I came in for a microdermabrasion yesterday and received a facial instead. I never requested a facial or was told my appointment was changed. The esthetician(Endurance)told me the machine didn’t work. she was already late 20 minutes starting my service. When I advised her I didn’t want a facial she advised me to book a microdermabrasion next time. Conveniently there wasn’t a manager or supervisor available. I left my info for Paula(manager) to give me a call back. I was advised she comes in at 8:30am and she would give me a call. I Never received a call. I called and was advised management wasn’t in and was transferred to a VM. I was never asked if it was ok to be put on hold or who voicemail I was being transferred to. I called back immediately and was told a manager was in and was transferred to assistant manager Serena. I explained what happened and she advised I did receive a service so it can’t be credited. I explained I got a service I never requested and didn’t know until halfway through I wasn’t getting a microdermabrasion. I will be canceling my membership!!
Angelica the manager is very unprofessional. I had to call 5 times to get her to return my calls. They only have 1 deep tissue massage person on staff who is a smoker. I requested they cancel my membership and she said she cant do that and to go to another location. BAD Customer service!
Had the pleasure of going to the Massage Envy in the Arlington (TX) Highlands. Therapist was so great, I booked another appointment while I was in town. Always a pleasurable experience and great customer service at Massage Envy.
Is the worst location in the we’re all they do not have the ability to give great customer service. You would think that you’re calling a call center that cold transfer your call I’ll be in informed that you are being sent to somebody else. This is such an unprofessional company it is getting to my nerves yeah be very cautious with the manager there because you don’t care about the customer service at the ladies provide, she has no concern in the world about how customer service is it very important. She do not care about her employees giving great customer service so be very very careful and very cautious. Going to this location is unbelievable.
Membership is unwiseThe service at this location was absolutely exceptional. HOWEVER this country has been in economic crisis for OVER A YEAR. Massage Envy doesnt appear to be in the loop of this news. If there is any possibility at all of you falling into crisis it is advisable NOT to buy a membership no matter how much money is saved.My experience was this:My membership was paid for in June. This gives me credit for my monthly massage. They couldnt book me until August. But at the end of June my husband was laid off forcing us to tighten our belts. I called Massage Envy to inform them of the situation and that I needed to cancel my membership. They said they couldnt do that but they could put my account on hold. They did not. When they went to take the money out of my account in July and it wasnt there they suspended my account. This was no problem because thats what I needed in the first place. But with my account suspended as it is they will not allow me to keep my August appointment that is already been paid for.I emailed Izzy Milligan the director of member services trying to get either the massage that was paid for or a refund. I simply cannot afford to spend money on nothing. I was refused BOTH. As a result I am having to cancel my debit card to avoid further charges since I will not be going back. Even after we are already on our feet I will sign somewhere else I refuse to waste money on an establishment that claims to relax and calm ONLY when things are already in fact relaxed.Having a membership with this company is INCREDIBLY RISKY.Be careful and God bless

Had to cancel due to a family emergency and they were so very inconsiderate. Whoever answered the phone was only worried about making sure I understood the 24 hour cancellation fee. If I knew 24 hours in advance that I was gonna have a family emergency I guess it wouldn’t of been an emergency huh! As soon as my contract is over I will not be renewing
Ive been needing deep tissue massage since I have a active lifestyle. Amber did an amazing job focusing on my points of tension. She was very personable, and I felt comfortable with her immediately. The staff at the desk were very helpful and friendly as well.I enjoyed the experience so much I signed up for a membership. Would 100% recommend.
I can only give 4 stars because all I did was buy a fathers day gift card so I will update review after my husband after he gets the massage. But I can say the two young ladies at the counter were as sweet as sugar and the young lady who did help me went out of her way to find 2 different deals to combine together for me and it turned a $115 dollar 1 hour massage into an $80 dollar massage Which I was willing to pay original full price for. Now I previously had known it was gonna cost $115 so they saved me some money that they didnt have to. Who doesnt like that right?!

Arrived at 8:45 for 9 pm appointment. They got my friend into a room at 9:05. I sat there until 9:20 and nobody checked on me and all they could say when I cancelled was we are sorry. I use to be a member and left years ago for similar incidents. Thought Id try again.Will never come back. Way to many other option..but my friend had a gift card to here.
Honestly this is the most unprofessional business I have ever had the displeasure of using. Membership terms are unclear, nothing is online except booking and even then finding times that work is difficult, cancelling your membership? It’s easier to walk through fire and not get burned. They text and call morning, noon, and night. They’ve woken me up more times than my alarm clock. They act like I’m still held to a contract that expired YEARS ago. Overall, they’re a huge hassle to work with and you’re better off going somewhere else.
I had a very bad experience dealing with this location specifically. Scheduled a specialized massage twice. Neither knew nothing about the massage. On Friday, front desk said a manager will call me. On Sunday evening, same front desk lady called me to cancel appointment. They have inexperienced therapists and do not tell the truth.
My first massage ever - was very relaxing and I enjoyed it. The massage therapist was very professional. My wife had given me a gift card as a present to use for a 60 minute massage, plus enough for tip. However, when you dont sign up for the membership ($780 a year), they charge you the non-member rate, ask for $20 bucks more and then tip above that. Im not going back there! All about signing you up to come back and give them more money.
Being a formal manager of this store i was highly disappointed of my over all experience. The therapist are amazing but the front desk and management is horrific. I booked an appointment for my husband about a month out, i called to confirm the appointment and the helpful front desk said that the appointment was never booked. So I was understanding and just rescheduled another appointment. We never received a call before the appointment the day before (as a formal manager, i know this is required) not only were we charged for that appointment but we were also charged for the so called no show that was never booked by the front desk. I contacted the business manager who I formally worked for and she said the confirmation/remainder calls were just for my convenience and they werent required. They are refusing to refund my massage for the no show and apply it to his previous massage. I highly recommend not joining as a member to this location, the business manager has ZERO customer service skills.
Love the therapists Ive had the pleasure of being massaged by. My low rating is for the leadership/management at the Highlands location. Ive have several appointments cancelled just a few business hours prior to my appointments. I have a busy schedule and getting a couple hours notice, for appointments I make 2 months in advance is infuriating. One cancelled appointment was for a couples massage on our anniversary. Ive been a subscription customer for years. Recommended them many times. Looking elsewhere now. Buyer beware.
I booked a month and half in advance for my husband and I could celebrate our anniversary and have a date away from my 5 month old. I confirmed and everything with the booking cleric. Got a baby sitter and everything. Took time off work!!!! And when we show up only his appointment was still on the books but my message wasn’t because my message agent no longer works there!!! I didn’t even get a call to try and keep the appointment time am out time! I am out time, money and now have tons of stress as this as was suppose to be our special day we where looking forward to!!! Sooo sooo not ok with any of this. I have been crying for 30 minutes because of how hard it’s to get time away from the baby.
Received a gift certificate for this location and had a great experience. Seems like most of the neg reviews are dealing with problems around the membership. I can’t speak to that, but my massage was fine. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back
Horrible customer service. If you do sign up for the one year membership, make sure that you sign the cancellation paper or your one year will automatically renew. Although I was told that my last debit would take place in April, I noticed an additional debit today. When I called the location that I normally use I was told it was up to my original location, the highlands, as to whether or not they would refund the debit that occurred outside of my one year membership. I didnt think they would have any issue considering Id just fulfilled an entire year and never booked any appointments with them. However, Amanda Garrett, their manager, refused to process my refund. I understand that there are policies in place but she had the opportunity to rectify a poor situation and chose not to. She would rather sever a business relationship than do the right thing. Thats terrible customer service and poor business practice. She chose not to refund $60 when Id just fulfilled a $720 membership on top of tipping my therapist and esthetician at least $25 each visit. Beware of the one year membership and this locations management. Mansfield, west 7th, and hulen all have more availability and better service.
I went for a birthday massage and Melissa was my therapist. I had not had a massage in over a year, so you can imagine how the knotted my back and neck were. Melissa was AMAZING. Not a sore muscle in my body....and that was the 60 min massage. I can’t wait til my next appointment!
Worst costume service ever. Had gone to them for awhile and then decided to go to mansfield which has way better service and nicer people. However because I opened the account in Arlington I had to come back and deal with them. Still nothing has changed with the service and their assistant manager is even worse.

Very frustrated with the multiple changes since I first joined. Often times feels like a money pit. 3 hours notice is a bit much. No working with loyal customers even when within 5 minutes of calling to make changes. Sessions can end prior to the 60 or 90 minutes yet no allowance for calling a few minutes late. Looking forward to using my sessions and closing my account.
I attempted to contact the Arlington Texas location for over 30 days! I left several voice messages and I didnt receive 1 return telephone call. I terminated my membership and I had to use one session before the 60days expiration. I called them 3times in one day until someone finally picked up the telephone. To be informed that my session expired 6 days ago. The management staff at this location was no help and wanted to make several excuses about their phone system. End result I can not use my last session and I will never join another Massage Envy! I was a member for over 6 yrs, you would think that they would allow me to use my last session!!! NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!
Got a reminder call for my appt at arlington location... only problem is I live in Ohio and never booked it. When I called, the customer service rep didnt even sound like a legit massage envy rep. I thought I was being scammed. She didn’t understand when I said it wasn’t me and I live in Ohio. when I provided my name, she matched me to an Alissah. I told her twice that doesn’t spell allison and I’m in Ohio. She still didn’t understand what I was clearly saying. She canceled the appointment instead of trying to find the actual customer who is likely counting on that appointment. Hope they don’t show up and not have the appt anymore.On the flip side, Cincinnati-area MEs are awesome!
I went yesterday for the first time... first of all, I like deep tissue and there were only 2 options for the whole week across multiple locations that even offered deep pressure. I picked one and booked it. I indicated I wanted to focus on my neck, shoulders, and upper back on both the questionnaire and to the therapist before and during the massage. Instead, there was a focus on my head, my clavicle area, legs and arms. At the end he asked how I felt, I literally didnt know how to answer the question because the areas I came in for had been barely touched. Today I feel just as bad as I did when I went in yesterday. Why even ask what areas I would like to focus on if its not going to be honored? My first and last visit.
I dont like anything on this location! For the first time, I was booked for an appointment for me and my son and when we came there this girl told me that I am not, because there is a process if they ask for my card that means I am booked but if it didnt then Im not,then I said I dont care about what your process is, your responsibility is to ask me what you need before hanging up the phone and confirming my appointment..this girl act like Im lying because all she does is telling me their process without even thinking how to solve their own negligence. ..All I want as a customer and a member is that their front desk person should be more atleast knowledgeable, courteous, and be professional @ front .... that short Hispanic girl @ the front desk is HORRIBLE! !!....Except for the guy who really ask me nicely and handled it right without asking me further instead by calling the manager whos also kind on willing to give me an extra 30 mins each massage for courtesy on our next session, after they found out that they messed up. .. I came to this location for a hour massage. I came a little early so I filled out the necessary paperwork and then she directed me to the relaxation room. My appt was at 430. Around 435 Janet peaks her head around the corner and informed me she will come an get me when she is done. She then stated she is running behind. I reiterate my appt time and ask when she will be done. She then stated the previous clients is still in the room. After that she said I was the one that came early and I stated that its my business and Im not concerned about that time. I was concerned about the time of my appt. Because I had other plans so I tried to plan around that. She then stated she is going to tell the manager and I said thats fine. I walked right behind her and talked to the manager myself. What a waste of time the manager didnt care. She was acting nonchalant like she could care less. I waited for nothing and she ask if I wanted to reschedule because they did not have anymore appt. Stay away from this place they are rude and its not worth the hassle. I will drive far for great customer service. The worst place ever. They want you to honor your appt time but the dont.

I have cancelled my membership and have been drafted TWICE already, with MONTHS on between. I cannot even begin to tell you the amount of unethical business practices this place shoves down the customers throat. They have you sign a form BEFORE they complete their sections, and even months later, the DATES are NO WHERE on the form!!! The front desk doesnt even know the terms, length of freezes or cancellations, and the management that was here is no longer here, magically, and the current management will do NOTHING to correct it. Not only that, they will NOT give you their supervisors contact information so the client can handle it, above the store level. Its like they hide behind the curtain of OZ, and you could NEVER pay me enough to conceal your contact info from a client. Message Envy as far as a massage is concerned it is great. However, DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT. Their cancelation policy is such that you pay full price, fifty dollars, for services NOT rendered. You cancel you pay full price, you late you pay for remainder of time. Cancel due to weather, you pay full price, cancel due to work commitment, pay full price for services not rendered. Cancel due to car accident, you pay full price for services not rendered. Long story short go it is great, BUT do not book an appointment. If you get paid $174,000 like congressman great they will be glad to take your money, however, if you are working class yu can probably find other things to do with $50.00. call around ask if they have a slot open in the next couple hours, if so fine, if not call another place, DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT.

My wife was in serious accident, is paralyzed from lower back down. And literally on her death bed, went in to ask for gift card refund Krystal had gall to ask if doctor would ok her to get massage anyway , and Amanda (horrible person and manager) had the nerve to ask if I could use the massage since they supposedly dont refund ANYTHING. Not once did they show any empathy towards me. Called police on me after we got into a shouting match went into back room like a coward until police arrived. Both Amanda and Krystal were smiling and laughing the entire time even when police arrived. Horrible people...
I literally walked in to pay a balance following all mask requirements but was kinda rudely escorted out by a not-so gentleman and asked what was i doing there. I felt disrespected because there was no sign saying I couldn’t come in and he didn’t even tell me why he escorted me out like that. I’m a huge supporter of small business, and will waste mymoney but I don’t think I’ll be coming back here.
I have a membership and could never get in on Weekends or evenings. When you liked one therapies she then she changes here schedule and then you are thrown in with others. Luck of the draw. Why do a membership. Its no different.
