Dont think, just go. This is the second time Ive been to this head spa and I plan on returning when Im back in town again. Total relaxation for 60 minutes leaves you feeling rejuvenated, your hair soft, and your scalp squeaky clean. Jenny did a fantastic job on the scalp massage this morning, and truly everything else. Its wild to see how clean your scalp really gets. Thanks for a great experience, every time!

I got the 100min package and so glad I did. Book your appointment now don’t wait just do it. Thank you so much for making my spa day special. The best head massage in the world. My hair smells like a ginger cookie and feels so soft. The halo with the water feels so good and everyone is so friendly!

I went here with a friend for the head spa treatment. I thought the entire treatment was effective and a great value. The treatment includes a head massage, shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, and blow dry. The entire treatment takes 60 minutes. I advise women who come here to not wear makeup because the treatment includes a scalp massage and a facial lymphatic treatment and there is water. The products they used had natural Chinese herbs, including ginger, and a tea rinse. It felt very invigorating and healthy. The scalp treatment used here is not Japanese, but rather, Chinese. I thought the Chinese method was luxurious in that the entire treatment lasted a full 60 minutes. Afterward, I found my hair was very soft and the color of my hair was actually richer. For reference, I have natural east Asian hair that is dark brown and I do not dye or color treat my hair—it is all natural, but I try to keep my hair very healthy. I think the benefits are such that it would probably increase hair growth, skin cell turnover, and improve hair texture. I would like to budget this new service in to my beauty routine once per month. It is well worth the price and the technician who worked on my hair was very professional and attentive. As we age, it’s important that we take care of ourselves. I think the services here are a great value.

Head spa experience was great. Blow dry is not good at all. I actually left with my hair still wet at the roots and tangled up after repeatedly saying my hair was not dry since they didnt understand English . I also didnt appreciate the fact that the scalp analysis didnt actually show my scalp. It just showed my hair strands and follicles. I dont know if my scalp is clean but it felt fresh and great. They need to work on their blow dry techniques. Massage was also great

I had the opportunity to come get a 60 mins head spa with Mandy. She did an incredible job. The place was clean, inviting, and at the end left me feeling refreshed. This will definitely be a place I visit again once I am in town!

Great experience! Reasonably priced! A treat! My daughter and I enjoyed the body massage and Japanese head massage. The massage was fantastic as was the head massage. I knew going into it that it wasn’t a salon so I was surprised to find out a free blow out was included on the cost of the treatment. It was a basic blow dry and greatly appreciated since I wasn’t paying for salon services. This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend.

Came here for the first time per a friend’s recommendation. I chose the head spa option. The head and shoulder massage is short but relaxing. I have very long (down to my waist), thick, curly, frizzy hair. The woman doing the head spa told me that she has never had a client with as much hair as me. It was apparent when my hair was being brushed during the hair treatment and blown out at the end. I came in with smooth straight hair and left with bushy frizzy hair. I wish they had more experience with my hair length/type. Overall, this head spa is basically a glorified wash and blow dry (just drying water in the hair. No technique or styling). I never actually saw the products used, so I can’t speak to the quality or validity of the products that they claim to use, but it smells similar to Herbal Essence. I say save your money and go to Dry Bar or wash your own hair at home and use the money for an actual massage. I probably won’t be back.

One of the best experiences at a spa. They greeted us warmly and felt so comfortable. The rooms were very clean and had the right ambiance to start the relaxation. Once the head massage began I felt instant relaxation and stress relief. I am 100% going to be coming back and bringing more friends with me. This year is for focusing on pampering myself and this place is perfect for that. Would recommend hands down.

I went to get a head spa last week as a nice treat to myself. Everything went well until the lady that did my services harassed me for a larger tip. I’m not sure if she was expecting like a $20 tip… As soon as she said something, part of me wanted to take back the tip. So rude and never coming back.

I came with my boyfriend to do the head spa. It was out first time trying it and the whole experience was amazing. Jenny and Leah were super kind and wonderful. I do want to note that this is a natural product spa. We enjoyed every second and will be coming back regularly to decompress. Will be trying the facials as well. All in all, worth trying. This was the first time I visited this spa so I didnt know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The package I selected had amazing features to include head and body massages, hydrating facial and lymphatic drainage. The space was clean and very inviting. I drove over an hour to get there but it was so worth it. I will definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

I had the BEST experience during my visit! The receptionist and staff are all very welcoming and I had the best 60 minute scalp spa, 30 minute mini facial, and 30 minute back massage. If you’re looking to splurge on self care, this is the place. My hair has never felt cleaner!

I loved the service, it was my 1st time at Head Spa and it was amazing and the young lady who gave me my head massage was amazing!! I found them online and im so happy i did, everyone was nice and friendly, beautiful business, clean and lovely, i will be going back in 2 weeks for a massage as well! I went here for a hair spa and a facial. The facility was clean, which is a non-negotiable. But the staff member that did my services dos not speak English. The hair spa was ok, she was a bit rough with my hair (personal preference), and the products used did not agree with my hair, so my hair was a bit brittle afterwards. Then my facial was ehhhh. Way too much product in my face and she also put the products all over my eyes. My face was a bit greasy after.

Incredible service. A must for your hair health. I tried the 90 minutes and it was a full massage, facial, and hair restorative experience.

I came for a mini facial and scalp massage on my birthday and was so happy with this service. Lisa was thorough and walked me through each part of treatment. I will definitely return for another massage soon!

I had a wonderful, wonderful experience here. I came on a recommendation and was not disappointed. I am def coming back and soon! I got the 90 min headspa which included a lot of head massage, a waterfall, facial, lymphatic drainage, and body massage. I didn’t know what to expect and I was beyond pleased. I am a hairstylist and it was wonderful at the end when I had the chance to sit in the chair and have my hair dried. They are simply getting your hair dry so you are not walking out with wet hair. I was totally fine about that. I was there for their services not to have a blowout so to me, it seems like a very nice courtesy. Everyone was so kind and professional. I love this place!

From the moment I walked in, even to check out, everyone was extremely hospitable, attentive, and kind. The head massage package was super worth it and you walk out of the spa feeling completely brand new! You will not regret this experience at all and I cannot wait for Ms. Sandy to open up another location closer in Maryland!

This was my first headspa experience and it was amazing. It was so relaxing and my scalp feels so tingly and clean. It was the perfect way to decompress after a hard week! I will definitely be back and looking forward to other services the spa has to offer!

Went for lymphatic drainage massage post chin lipo and she did an amazing job. Ensured I was comfortable and talked me through what she was doing and it felt amazing once finished. Really sculpted & removed the hardness and fluid from the surgery. Will come again in a few more days for another drainage 🥳

Wonderful experience. Clean place. Mandy did a great job helping me relax. The blow dry is nothing more than removing the water in your hair. Don’t expect your hair to be styled.

Really the worst experience. My lady hair person was so aggressive on my hair it was painful even when I told her to lighten on the pressure. She used her nails. The rooms were definitely not up to standards of spas.Also during the treatment, I heard the lady filling and emptying buckets. Not sure what that was supposed to be. My scalp felt more irritated at the end and I just wanted it to be over.At the end, the front desk lady pressured me into giving a tip. I have no issues with giving a tip but the fact that she pressured me into doing it was unprofessional.An unsanitary and unprofessional location that I don’t recommend anyone having to experience.

Did a headspa with my mom and had a great experience. It was nice to see the before and after scan of our scalps. The staff was accommodating and we were able to see the difference in our scalps right away. I personally saw a big difference in my dandruff right after. Thank you!

Did head spa. Had a migraine for over 24 hours and decided to try this out. It was a solid hour of head massaging: dry, with shampoo, and with leave in conditioner and brushing. Pressure was perfect and Rebecca also did a neck, shoulder, and arm massage with a bit of leg work. They blow dried my hair too. Everything smelled nice, product felt great (no stinging, not oily, not heavy). Definitely will come again. My headache substantially subsided after my visit.

This business has unethical business practices. They refused to accept a Groupon voucher I purchased that was still valid by the time I called to schedule an appointment. I do not recommend doing business with this spa. They are very unprofessional.

Reasonably priced, excellent service. I did a walk-in on a Friday afternoon, and they were able to accommodate me right away for a 60-minute massage (for $80). The massage therapist was skillful and responsive. I was able to leave a tip on my card (which I appreciated since I rarely carry cash; at some places theyll only accept cash tips).Thank you for providing quality services!

The experience at Spa Restoration was hands down 20 out of 5 stars.My friend and I completed a couple’s head massage for $79 per person for an hour. It’s hard to put in words how great it was but you should go for self to experience it.I’m definitely returning when I’m in the area.

This was my first visit to a head spa. Loved how everything was explained to me before and I was shown my scalp before and after. Jenny did a great head and neck massage. Very relaxing experience!

The head spa was FANTASTIC but what happened around it, was not relaxing at all… I think the down fall to my experience was that I went on the Friday of Veteran’s day weekend. So it was super busy last minute. It was ran by 2 ladies that just started in September so I don’t think they foresaw the logistics. My appt was 5:30 but I got into the room at 6:00, my appt didn’t “start” til 6:30. I had a nice scalp massage but I was told to move soon after to a different room to accommodate another appt. They said to just to cover myself to move to the other room. It was last minute cleaned so I awkwardly kind of stood there with the door open and a towel to cover my chest, for a moment. The new room smelled like stale water….I finally laid down then waited for nearly another hour. I wanted to treat my self to a mini facial but they used mediocre products that I’ve seen used and seen before. The herbs/products they used for my hair felt great, like a nice detailed shampoo and my eczema was very happy and my dermatitis calmed down. I think if I were to go back, I’d go not on a holiday weekend and weekday. I’d go back-

Not the best experience with head spa.Poor customer service.They scratched my scalp with their nails (not with special massager) so intensive during all the procedure, it wasn’t comfortable at all.Water smells like rotten eggs.After the procedure they dry my hair very harsh and pulled so much, I lost a lot of hair during that process.Also they use unsterilised brushes, they just shared it. They brushed my hair with the same brush they brushed other girl.After all done they didn’t even say “good bye”. It was so hard to give some comments during the procedure, because ladies don’t speak English.Very unfriendly.

TLDR: Avoid! Unprofessional!If I could give 0 stars, I would. Mine and my sisters head spa experiences at Spa Restoration was anything but restorative.To begin with, when we entered the spa, there was no clear itinerary of what is to be expected for our treatment. When we entered our respective rooms, we noticed immediately that the rooms were not sanitary and buckets were used to bring in and discard water. Not to mention, the room setups were not typical to spa standards and did not seem fully furnished.As for the head spa experience itself, my spa technician (esthetician?) literally BURPED multiple times throughout my session. I would be understanding if she had to excuse herself, but it continued throughout the duration of the session. For my sister, she had spa music playing through a phone on YouTube, in which multiple ads were running, disrupting any sort of relaxation that she could experience.The massage itself was incredibly rough and aggressive on the scalp. The products used were stripping and actually dried out our hair, leaving it to feel damaged and brittle. There were points where water was being poured directly on our eyes and going into our ears, making it very uncomfortable to fully relax.Afterwards, we were brought out for a blow-dry. This blow-dry was not up to hair salon standards, in which I couldve just blow dried it myself. The brushing and blow-drying was unnecessarily aggressive. Also, none of the products were curly-hair friendly and my sister actually omitted her blow-dry, as they did not have brushes or attachments suitable for her curl pattern.Overall, if this is going to be advertised as a head spa, it should meet both spa and salon standards, especially for the price we paid. Granted the establishment is new, they should not be offering this service if they do not know what they are doing. We will NOT be coming here again and advise anyone else seeking a head spa experience to also avoid.

I concur with other reviews stating that the head spa is WAY too rough and the products did burn during the session. It unfortunately was definitely more painful than relaxing, and I was ready to leave after about ten minutes due to the pain. However the spa was very accommodating when I needed to switch my appointment and the ladies working there are nice.

I had made an appointment for a facial and when i showed up the lady working in the front didn’t have my reservation scheduled. She did offer to help me however which was nice of her but i kept asking her over and over if this was the Zoom and Lashes location and she wouldn’t answer me. I had assumed it was because the sign is right in front of the door but i had realized afterwards that i went to the wrong location. I was confused because of how different the prices were and because i felt that the experience wasn’t the best as she didn’t answer the questions i had i wasn’t going to leave a tip but she was being very rude about it so i tipped her. Overall i wouldn’t go back.

It was so relaxing and everyone who works here is very diligent and kind. The pricing is also extremely reasonable. I would recommend to anyone!

My friend and I did a couples head spa for her birthday recently. It was absolutely amazing. I have long, straight hair, and generally a dry itchy scalp. The massage and acupressure leading up to the washing of my hair was incredible, my neck feels brand new now. The scalp wash smelled amazing, felt great, and I swear my hair has never felt more refreshed and sparkling clean (but not overdried). I felt like the head spa was a combination of my favorite things; getting my hair washed and massaged, the massage element of a facial, and the hydrotherapy of the water. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This was my first time ever going to a head spa as well as my first time at spa restoration center so I wasnt quite sure what to expect. I booked an appointment for the 90 minute head spa and mini facial. As soon as I walked in, I was kindly greeted by a young gentleman behind the counter. He asked if it was my first time, which I replied yes, and he politely explained the service for me so I would know what to expect.The place overall was very clean and the staff were all very professional and polite. The masseuse that I had said that she had been there for nine years and to say I was impressed is a complete understatement. I was completely blown away at the services provided. She asked me multiple times throughout the session if I was comfortable, if the water temperature was okay, if her hand pressure was okay, etc. which made me feel like she genuinely cared about my experience.The service didnt feel rushed at all and it felt as though she spent the appropriate amount of time for everything that she was doing. The 90 minutes flew by so fast I wish I couldve stayed there all day. She massaged all of the pressure points in my head and I was totally relaxed throughout the entire session. It literally felt like she was massaging my brain, it was so amazing. She washed my hair twice and used a conditioner and a fumigation system for my hair while she did the facial and she even massaged my neck, shoulders and arms and legs as well. I would definitely go back just to get a facial alone, but the head massage was utterly amazing. They even lightly blow dry your hair at the end so you dont go leaving with a wet head.Overall, my experience was 10 out of 10 and while its not something I could afford to do regularly, I will definitely be back many more times in the future. Parking was easy, convenient, and free and was located directly beside the building. I will say though, bring cash for tips because they dont accept a tip on the receipt if you pay with a card, but there is an ATM inside if you need.

It is a very complete service because after the amazing massage, they comb your hair and dry your hair. The costumer service is the best. Im come back definitely. I went for the lymphatic massage special for $119 - WORTH IT! I cant remember the ladys name but she was fantastic! Right amount of pressure, right amount of time. The facial along with massage was on point! Will return if Im in the area again!

Had a couples massage appointment scheduled at 3. I called before I got there because it was rain and traffic was heavy to see if they would still be able to take us. The lady said how long and I explained it would be 20 minutes and she said that’s okay come in we can take you. Only to find out that was a complete lie, once we arrived a man comes out and tells us we cannot be serviced because there was an appointment after ours so we reiterated the conversation prior to us coming only to be told that he did not know who we spoke with however we did call the right number. I would not have came just all this way and sat in traffic for nothing. Terrible service and professionalism

Overall, it was a so-so experience.We came with my friend for a 60-minute head spa. They didnt do a scalp check with the machine, although the machine was actually there. The massage wasnt relaxing; it was harsh. They didnt use any massagers for the head, only their hands and a hairbrush. Honestly, all movements were harsh and not gentle. I felt like I was consistently being hit with the brush. I have a lot of hair, and when the lady was blow-drying it, it was also harsh. She tried to stop three times and leave me with wet hair. In the end, I took the dryer and dried my hair myself. I asked to give me the small hair brush to do my hair line, she just point where I can take it. It was sterilizer, which was off all this time, which means they just pretend to sterilize their brushes.When another lady was drying my friends hair, it was harsh, and her hair got stuck, making it painful to brush.At the end, when we gave tips, they didnt even say thanks. The customer service wasnt friendly at all.

What a great experience! My friend brought me along for a treat and I really enjoyed the experience. The therapist takes you to a special table, then you wrap in a towel, lay on the table, and get ready to relax. She will give you a full head massage focusing on the meridians. Then they wash your hair and scrub your scalp. After a warm rinse, they will take you out and blow dry your hair. Very excited to return.

I’m never one to leave a bad review, I never have, but I felt strongly I needed to about my experience here. When I first walked in, everything seemed odd. When they took me back to room for lymphatic drainage massage, the bed wasn’t ready. The lady went and grabbed a sheet for me and didn’t lay it out. She handed it to me folded and I had to lay it out myself. The massage lady came in late and just seemed all over the place. I asked her multiple times if this is a lymphatic massage and she just laughed. I know her English wasn’t good but I’ve had other lymphatic massages and this wasn’t even close. She kept going in and out of the room and would leave the door open while I’m laying in the bed naked(yes, a sheet over me but felt very violated). Then, in the middle of my “massage” this other lady comes in and asked to confirm my appointment. I felt this was beyond inappropriate. She starts to massage only my stomach for the lymphatic drainage, which I know is a part of the massage, but this is the only part of my body she did the “lymphatic drainage massage.” I wouldn’t even call that. She didn’t massage any other lymph nodes of my body. She massaged my stomach probably for a good 20-30 minutes and my stomach feels in knots.Once she finishes the massage, she tells me everything is good and then proceeds to take a picture of my stomach with my underwear without my consent! She said she was showing me how good my stomach looked? I felt beyond violated again and wanted to run out of this place.I have worked in the restaurant business as a waitress and understand how critical tips are. I’m a big tipper myself and always generous. At this point, with the extreme poor customer service, violation of my body(leaving the door open at least 3 times, another lady coming in, taking a picture of my stomach with my underwear, etc) I did not feel the need to tip. The lady continued to harassed me for a tip.I will never ever come back here. I feel so beyond violated.

I just went there today (10/23) with my mom. I got the head spa and my mother got the restoration massage. Very nice and thorough massage, we felt rejuvenated. We loved it and plan on coming back! Thank you so much Ms. Nancy and Ms. Mandy for your kindness, cleanliness, and wonderful work. Also they have great prices, as well as their membership deal and other specials sound great as well.Oh and parking can be a little tricky for people visiting for the first time.

From the minute you walk in the staff is so friendly and I already can’t wait to book again. I did the bronze package for my birthday and it was so relaxing!!

The lymphatic massage was not as advertised. It just felt like a regular massage and it didn’t even help to debloat me because they never even massaged my abdominal area. The lady I spoke to afterwards said it was because some people felt uncomfortable being touched there and we specifically have to request for that. However, on their website, the pictures for their lymphatic massage is literally a person massaging another’s abdomen, so I expected that during the massage. It feels a bit irresponsible as well for that to fall on the customer when they simply could’ve just asked and it’s what’s they literally depict on their website. Overall, not a great experience,

Today, I felt very tired, but when I called for an appointment, I quickly secured an afternoon slot for a full-body lymphatic detox. I was a bit concerned due to some negative reviews, but I booked with Mandy. She warmly welcomed me, creating a comfortable atmosphere. At the start of the massage, Mandy inquired about my physical condition, explaining the different techniques needed for each part of the body. She was highly professional and provided significant relaxation to my tense shoulders. When she massaged my stomach, she identified bloating issues and accurately pointed out digestive system concerns, which I indeed have. After the abdominal massage, my stomach felt less bloated, and I felt like Id shed a layer. Mandy is truly an excellent masseuse, and I highly recommend her.

I went to Spa Restoration Center a couple weekends ago from DC after seeing LenValyrian post about her experience on Twitter. I went on Saturday afternoon for a lymphatic drainage massage with hot stones with Nancy. Her massage rivaled ones I’ve had in Georgetown and Bethesda. After my massage, I received compliments that my waistline looks slimmer. I definitely plan to go back for head spa. I would’ve done it during my first visit, but they were already booked for the day that’s how popular it is. Mandy, the owner, is also incredibly sweet.

This place is wonderful!I wear a headscarf so my scalp can get very itchy and dry. The head treatment was EXACTLY what I needed. My head feels so much better and hair feels so soft. The ginger mask they use smells and feels amazing. Thank you Mandy!

Head spa is a waste of $79 and time. It’s not relaxing and in fact , sometimes painful with how they pull wet hair. I’ve had much better head massages at the regular salon. supposed to be 60 minutes but was about 50 minutes total. “Blow dry” included which is about 2 minutes , no brushes involved . I would not have reviewed however the masseuse was insisting on a minimum $10 tip, which I was inclined to tip nothing after this experience . Save your money and get a regular shampoo at your salon

An unfortunate combination of poor customer service and mediocre massage technique. Id caution against anyone considering this spa and I find that all the five star reviews sound strangely similar. Our experience was very different.We arrived at the time of our initial appointment and the door was locked. We called the spas number multiple times before someone picked up and let us know that she was a few minutes away..which of course led to a wait in the summer heat that was considerably more than a few minutes. When the staff member finally arrived, she told us that we had not booked a couples massage and therefore, there was no other staff member present, and our massage could not take place. This staff member did not even entertain the possibility that she could have made a mistake in the booking and instead, chose to assume we were at fault. We decided to be patient and reschedule although we could already see that customer service was poor. We arrived at the time of our second appointment and thankfully, the spa was prepared for a couples massage. The massage itself was lacking in numerous ways: 1) there was no consultation about which areas to target or which areas to avoid..which I think is fairly standard if you want to avoid hurting your clients 2) they did not ask about pressure preferences 3) I was kindly asked about whether I wanted a scalp massage and I said yes, since that sounded pleasant. What followed was my therapist raking her nails across my scalp for some time which frankly, ended up being painful 4) at one point, my therapist was applying hot stones to my body and I stated that its too hot. At this point, I think the most normal response for a therapist would have been to remove all the stones and let them cool a little. Instead, the therapist proceeded to ask me which stone was the hot one..meaning more time for a stone to essentially burn against my skin.Sad to say that I did not at all feel restored by this experience and I did not think the service was a good value, even though we used discounted voucher. If you are looking to pamper yourself (or somebody else), there are many other options in the area.

I got the scalp spa wash and mini facial! This place is amazing! Mandy was so kind and excellent at her job! Will definitely be back. Clean and relaxing atmosphere and she answered all of my questions! I will be telling all of my friends about this place- blissful!

Sweet, quaint, and minimalist location. Nancy was very accommodating in scheduling a girlfriends weekend Head Spa gathering. The service was relaxing and exactly what I needed after a long week. You could feel all the stress and headache melt away. The Chinese herbal root scent reminded me of an apothecary. The scrubbing brush used was AMAZING! I will definitely be scheduling an appointment the next time I visit NoVA.

Review :greeted by the sweetest older Japanese ladyTakes me to a tiny room give me a wrap around towel and with broken English tells me to take my clothes off and put the towel onMotions for me to lay on bed. (Bed experience would have been elevated if there was a bed warmer, but again I have first world problems).Immediately goes for my ears (was definitely thrown off, but got used to it. Still not totally fond of having someones finger in my ear). Then she dry massages my scalp using craniosacral technique to hit the pressure points on my entire head (back to the ears... weird)). Im nearly certainly I have had my cranial bones adjusted and excellent blood flow throughout my scalp now.She wets my hair with a ginger lemon back of my head she just swiftly tossed my head and I thought that that my neck would snap, but my girl knew exactly what she was doing.While that set, she did a massage on my chest, shoulders, neck, and back (queen). The proceeded to scrub and rinse the mask off.Repeated this process with shampoo twice.After the final rinse I sat up and she massaged and pressed my back.Then I got dressed and she blow dried my hair, fumbled with my claw clip a bit and sent me off with a hug.

I went to this place for a relaxing scalp treatment, sadly it was nothing like it. The therapist was extremely rough and the products used in my scalp literally felt like ghost peppers 🌶️. My scalp burned and the whole experience was pretty disappointing, once I got home I noticed my scalp was tender and is because they brushed my scalp and hair so hard that they drew blood. I do not recommend this place at all.

I really wanted to like this experience. Especially when you see TikToks that make it look amazing. The facility was very clean, and the staff friendly. The head spa experience was not the best. The brushing made me have a flashback to when I would have to wake up my mother to brush my hair, and she would brush my hair angrily cause I didnt do it properly lol. It felt very rough and rushed.The shampooing did not compare to even the brief one you get at the hair salon, it was not enjoyable, the water went cold more than once, and she would use the same shampoo water to massage my back and then my neck/face. It was noisy in the room, where a machine kept going off and the room is lit BRIGHT, no ambiance of relaxation. Overall, I did pay the $79 and then a 20% tip making the total $94. I came because of TikTok, and I unfortunately wont return. *It is also in a very sketchy location where I was approached by 2 men asking for money outside of the liquor store*

Full disclosure, I do bridal hair and makeup.I know what hair should feel like.The stylist who cuts and colors my hair is baffled what happened. I used to have great hair, I’ve done four deep conditioning treatments and it’s still tangly, hard to manage and dry.If you want to save your hair, don’t go here.Well, I tried.I reached out to the business to right the wrong (giving partial refund) but they refused and I now also wasted time contacting them. I’m honestly confused how people rate them highly.Services I booked- 60 min massage & 60 minute head spa.Context- I’ve reached out to them to right the wrong- I only asked for half of my money back so they could pay their employees and get costs covered.They refused. I also mentioned I get it that service providers have bad and off days and I wanted to address this privately. Again, they refused, blamed me. So here goes.Let’s review-I arrived on time.I asked to use the bathroom before my massage and when I went in, I immediately felt like this was not the place for me. The soap was cheap (dollar store cheap) and there was an industrial sized hand sanitizer on the counter.The wall had a large hole that had been recently poorly patched with the wrong paint color to cover the patch, it was a huge patch job.I went back to the “massage room”There was no sheet, I had to find it and put it on top of myself.Now I’m not the best person to review massages because I’ve had them at 5 star world renown resorts and spas, idk why I booked this one… it wasn’t great. It was a lot of jerky motions and rubbing quickly and roughly. Half of it is on top of the sheet I found.They did not ask what areas to concentrate on, nor did I fill out an intake form, the massage lady did not speak much English but she was sweet - it was not the kind of massage I would book again.At the end she crawled onto the table to pat down my legs. Not once did she even touch my feet. Full body massage- no.she did do a lymphatic massage on my stomach. Lymphatic massages are supposed to be gentle. This was firm. She also asked me if I was pregnant… fun times. Btw, I have a decently flat stomach.The massage started at 11:20 and ended at 12:00That’s 40 minutes, not 60.I was then asked to get dressed and go to the head spa room.The head spa I entered at 12:05, started at 12:15.I got on the table and she started to massage my dry hair. She did pressure points and that was OK. I enjoyed the scalp and ear massage, however once the water starts running, it becomes very loud and the head spa unit talks, a lot. “Shampoo Happy” it says every time the setting is changed.She then started to clean my scalp, I thought this was just like a cleansing shampoo. Smelled good.Then she rubbed and moved my legs and arms around, on top of a blanket. I did not get the “scalp mask” nor was I asked what kind of scalp I have.But that’s all she did. And then rinsed it like 3 times with weird massage moves and lifting my head and then patting my face down with ONLY water and my hair.When she completed the hair service she sat me up and patted down my body and said “all done get dressed”And then pointed to the front room.They rough dry the hair, which is a complete disaster. I left them by 11:10, was in my car and texting photos by 11:14, not an hour long.My skin felt like garbage, my hair was CRISPY dry, my head was itchy that night.I discussed this with the business and they just wanted to offer me the services AGAIN, why would I want that AGAIN?!They also blamed me for not “picking the right services”I wasn’t given any options and their online booking doesn’t provide options.So here’s the review. I hope they like it.Go at your own risk.I have to go now, I need to wash and condition my hair, try to bring it back to life.

Working long hours, Ive been on the hunt for a good, regular massage. Ive tried a bunch of places, but Nancys is on a different level. Instead of just pressing on the spots that hurt, she actually gets to the root of the problem. I was a bit skeptical at first, but by the end, I was pain-free and feeling top-notch.Her place is squeaky clean and, bonus, doesnt have that strong bleach smell a lot of places do.

Nancy was a great massage therapist. I came in with some tension and stress. After I left I felt so amazing and all my stress was gone. I definitely recommend this wonderful spa and Nancy! They are so friendly and have great customer service!

The massage itself was perfect - so relaxing with the right amount of pressure. Mandy also added in extra services (hot stones & essential oils), as it’s my birthday month. So generous! I absolutely recommend Spa Restoration Center and plan to go more often. Teachers need it!

Excellent head spa! Nancy takes the stress out straight through the scalp (and neck and shoulders) and you get to address any itching or buildup issues you might face. It’s important to treat your scalp like you would the skin on your face, so I highly recommend this place for its soothing herbal approach. I have been looking for a proper head spa place in the DMV area (there aren’t that many that are more than a hair mask), so this spot is a treasure.Also, always tip your specialists well!

THIS. IS. NOT. A. REAL. HEADSPA.I’m convinced most of these reviews are fake. This place is pretty janky. It’s clear the ladies started this business with no real massage training and the head spa is the bootleg version of the ones we’ve seen on YouTube and tiktok. They know nothing about hair or the scalp. The “sink” doesn’t have running water so they have to go in and out the room constantly to refill the contraption under it and they left the door open multiple times while doing this! (You’re topless during the headspa) The sink also talks which was frightening at first and then just annoying because you can’t relax. One of the ladies don’t speak a lick of English and just smiles when you ask a question. After the “facial” (which was just them piling products on), my skin was really greasy and my hair was brittle from the “headspa”.The icing on the cake was when I went to pay, I cash app’d the amount due and the lady that seems to be running the place said, “you didn’t tip” and I just stared at her. She then showed me her cash app again and said I needed to “do it again for tip” LOL…I already wasn’t coming back but that prompted this review. Unfortunately, this was a waste of money and I felt legitimately scammed afterwards. The skin and hair products are cheap and the services were mediocre. Leaving 2 stars because the front was clean w/ candy while you waited, and the ladies were polite.

As a disabled veteran with severe spine injuries. I was searching for an honest and professional place that I could go for an extended period of time to improve my chronic back and leg problems. I couldn’t of asked for a better experience. The staff is attentive, meticulous, polite, and true professionals.I recommend this team to any persons that want respect, and a proper massage.Recently have tried their head rejuvenation treatment, and words can’t truly give Justice to how wonderful it felt, or how relaxed I was after.Even my chiropractor, as well as my acupuncturist inquired what I did to be so relaxed.I would suggest this for anyone with neck, shoulder pains and stiffness.I couldn’t be more pleased 😁😊🌈

Would give a zero if I could. Lady that did my head spa was extremely rough and aggressive. I asked her multiple times to apply less pressure and be more gentle but she laughed and continued. Had to leave half way because of how much pain I was in. She did not know english. It is there responsibility to check in to ensure everything is fine if they know that the lady is not able to communicate herself.

The place is not super fancy but the massage is amazing. The owner took it over from the previous owner. It is still being renovated. They dont charge extra for hot stone massage, so please ask for it if thats what you like. I have a chronic back pain so been to many different massage places around this area. Spa Restoration Center definitely is the place Im going back. Prices are reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

Horrible! I called her to get an appointment for hair spa because it was my birthday and I wanted it to be a self care day(which was ruined of course by the rude customer service), she said there was appointment at 1pm initially, but the second she heard the term Groupon she said there is no same day appointment(which was not mentioned on Groupon btw) only appointment after two weeks and that she was driving and she can’t book it at the moment. so I hanged up and called back later to see if I can cancel the Groupon and get a service on the same day but she never picked up my call seeing my number probably. I went to Thai massage house spa in falls church and got a good massage thankfully on my bday. Avoid if possible and go to someplace where they treat customers nice.

Mandys head spa is a tranquil oasis. I was in a wonderful, serene state after receiving the herbal Ginger gift. Its my little sanctuary away from the real world.

The woman working at the front counter insisted I had to “take my hair out” to be treated. 0/10 Do you only do straight hair then?
