Been calling for 4.5 hrs straight and no answer or call back. I would love to be able to EASILY book an appointment since the feature is unavailable online. So to not pick up your phones even once is a poor reflection.UPDATE: editing to 5 stars. My boyfriend and I had a beautifully relaxing experience. Our couples massage was executed perfectly. They took great care of our needs and didn’t rush us. Service up front was also great in person. I still wish it didn’t take posting a review to receive a call back tho. Other than that, everything was great and we’d definitely return.
My husband and I recently visited the Biltmore Spa in Asheville for our 15th Year Anniversary during the second week of July, and we were thoroughly disappointed with our experience. We had reserved a full-body couples massage, expecting a luxurious and relaxing time, but what we received was far from it.Firstly, the representative failed to inform us that we needed a ticket to access the estate, which cost us precious time. We drove an hour to get there, only to find out we needed to buy tickets, making us late for our appointment. This lack of communication added unnecessary stress to our day. When we finally arrived, the actual massage was subpar. As someone experienced with massages, I can confidently say that the massage technician’s skills were lacking. The movements were incomplete, and the quality of the massage was comparable to what one might receive at a massage school, not a high-end spa charging $400 even with a discount. This experience was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the high price point. In total, the ordeal cost us $500 for a service that wasn’t worth $35. To make matters worse, when I spoke with the manager, she apologized and offered tickets to return to the Biltmore for another visit but refused to compensate or refund any of our money. Given the poor service, I would have expected at least a 50% discount as a gesture of goodwill, but that wasn’t offered.I strongly advise others to avoid the Biltmore Spa if you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion. Our experience was poorly managed and not worth the expense. I wouldn’t recommend this place even for a casual day out.Drs. Mary & Remi— Cheers!
I recently had a manicure at the spa by Savanna. She is amazing! She takes her time and paints to perfection. Also, the staff was attentive and friendly. The spa itself is cozy and inviting. I definitely recommend paying them a visit.
I booked the couples rendezvous for me and my wife. My wife’s massages was decent. The massage therapist that gave me my massage asked if I wanted deep tissue and what to focus on. I said that would be great and I would like my neck, shoulder and back focused on. To start with, my 5 year old daughter could have applied more pressure than she did. Second, she never once even touched my back and technically I supposed she did part of my shoulders and neck but basically spent the majority of the time on my legs which I did not ask to done. There was no relaxing during the massage as I was very angry at the fact that I spent $300 for the absolute worst massage I have ever experienced. It was the most pre-prescribed massage I have ever had. She just went through the same motions she does for every customer. I expressed my disappointment awards and I will say the manager did offer me another massage with someone else which I appreciated and was grateful for. As well, had we not asked about the additional things included in the package they would have just let us walk out. We had to ask them to fulfill the other parts of the package that we paid for. My wife got her facial done while I was getting the other massage. She was highly disappointed in the facial treatment as well. I would not recommend anyone go to this spa.
I booked my sister’s Bachelorette party at this spa and it was the BEST decision! From the moment we walked in we were accommodated in every way possible and treated like royalty. The staff is extremely helpful, constantly anticipating your needs and making sure everyone is happy and comfortable. We decided to all come back again to enjoy the spa. Thank you for making my sister’s party unforgettable and perfect.
According to TripAdvisor, there are 89 spas in the Asheville area. With so much choice, I cannot advise consumers strongly enough to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I booked a spa party (5 of us) at this particular spa for my mothers birthday, hoping that my family and I could do something really special for her. I booked her an Ultimate Manicure and Ultimate Pedicure, a service I also booked for myself. When we arrived, it took several minutes for us to even be acknowledged, as the receptionist was on the phone. Although other members of our party were taken back immediately for massages and facials, my mother and I waited several more minutes as the employees tried to figure out who was going to be assigned to each of us.When we arrived to the manicure pedicure area, I asked for dip polish. I did not think that this was such a bizarre request. In fact, I did some research after the service and learned that gel and dip polishes have been the leading trend in manicure services and have revolutionized the nail industry. https://www.labor.ucla.edu/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/NAILFILES_FINAL.pdfWell, at the Spa at Biltmore Village, asking for dip polish (and the associated removal of old dip polish) IS a bizarre request. So much so that Cinnamon and Savannah told my mom and I that they didnt have time to take our old polish off and could not provide the requested service. They grumpily told us that the person who booked our services should have asked us the right questions and that we should have known this. Note to consumers--the person who booked these appointments was Erin, the manager. And NO, she did not inform me that the spa does not remove dip polish and does not offer dip polish. So there we were, trying to have a relaxing day at the spa, and we had two resentful service providers, no manicures, and Im wildly embarrassed that this is going to be my mothers so-called birthday celebration. Had we not had 3 other people with us receiving other services, we would have walked out then. The receptionist came over to apologize and tried to offer us champagne and chocolate. It honestly felt condescending--it what way does champagne and chocolate make up for the fact that we are not going to be receiving the services we booked and are now going to have to go elsewhere? Or that the people supposed to be pampering us are bitter and resentful? Is that a relaxing birthday present?Halfway through our unpleasant pedicures, Cinnamon changed her mind. She said that she would be willing to stay and remove our dip polish, and they did offer gel polish manicures. Savannah also went along with this plan. So I do have to give Cinnamon and Savannah credit for eventually trying to somewhat fix the issue. However, we did not receive the Ultimate Manicures as I had booked. Instead, we were charged the same price for the polish removal and an Express Manicure. So no pampering, just a functional manicure. Also, the damage had been done.Erin, the manager, was on site for 90% of the time we were there. At no point did she apologize for what was her mistake. In fact, I was staring at her directly in the face as I checked out, and she still did not apologize or offer any accommodation. If you want a really deluxe manicure/pedicure, this is not the place. If you want an accommodating and friendly experience, this is also not the place. If you want to spend a huge amount of money on a mediocre spa, well, youve found your destination.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Booked a mother/daughter 60 min massage w/ 10 min scalp massage & 10 min facial. The massage was 90% on my shoulders, no legs, no hips, no lower back. Scalp massage felt like she was trying to put divits in my head, facial was a joke, had to wipe off the 1/2 thick layer of slime they put on and then said, youre done...What? The hole experience was definitely not worth the inflated pricing. Also, there was no hot water in the 2nd bathroom; which is also where you are supposed to change cloths...Ridiculous...I encourage all to find tranquility elsewhere.
My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful massage and hot stones during our stay at the Biltmore Inn. It was amazing. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and took wonderful care of us. We enjoyed ourselves so much we tried to book another massage for the next day, sadly they were booked. However, if/when we go back to Biltmore, we will be booking massages again.
Savanna always does an amazing job on my mani/pedi. She’s amazing and really goes above and beyond! I wish I could give more than 5 stars she knows how important it is for me to do proper nail care for my work so it’s a relief to be able to see Savanna and have safe and excellent work. I highly highly recommend seeing her!
A+ services! Linda is an outstanding massage therapist and her facials are amazing. Melissa gives a fabulous pedicure. No harsh perfume scented soak & soft happy feet. Cinnamon waxed & shaped my brows quickly and perfectly. This spa is 1-stop pampering!Love love love!
Definitely happy with my experience. My massage therapist was very kind and accommodating. The only thing Id change is that she massaged my scalp without asking. I didnt stop her bcus it felt really good 😆 but if I had known ahead of time I would have definitely asked her to skip that part. She massaged my face right after. Which also felt incredible. But I kept thinking, if this had been a day that I wore a lot of oily products in my hair as I often do, she would have been rubbing all that into my face 🥴 she was sooooo nice tho! And Im sure she had no idea that black women find things like that to be invasive. I didnt have the heart to tell her bcus Im a ppl pleaser. Ill definitely come back the next time Im in town...Ill even be happy to have her again! Ill just tell her to skip the scalp and face next time 😊
Chelsea was so wonderful! She took the time before we started to ask me what I was wanting from the experience, she took the time to explain what she was going to do and how she was going to do it, and then did it all so magically! I left feeling the best I had in years! Everyone here was kind and thoughtful, it really made it a wonderful place to be and made me happy to be spending my dollars somewhere that truly cares about their customer and their experience. I will be returning!
Wow! Amazing. What can I say more than that I had a beautiful experience I had. I am a massage therapist myself and I’ve been all over to many spas and this one was one of the BEST I’ve ever been to! I was taken care of by the front desk always so so sweet checking on me and making sure I was cozy and comfy and so easy to talk to. The massage therapist I had was so great and so intuitive and communicative took his time and really listened to my needs. Thank you for being there and providing healing to this community 🤎
Wow, Cinnamon was just amazing with my facial. She made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and was so kind to give me tips with my skin concerns. So sad I found her just before moving, or I would be coming in regularly to see her!
Excellent experience today! I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had - my therapist worked really hard to knock out all of my shoulder tension (which was significant…even more than I realized when walking in). Great overall ambience and the front staff were excellent, too. Definite recommend.
We had such an amazing time and experience here! The entire team is very kind and we were happy to work with them to figure out some scheduling changes prior to our appointment. The atmosphere was what we dreamed of when planning this for our first anniversary trip - we book the couples package and the massage and facial did not disappoint. All of the added touches made me so happy we ended up choosing the Spa at Biltmore Village. When we come back to Asheville, this is on our “must go back” list!!!
I love this spa! I have been coming here for years and all of the therapists are wonderful. Just got a facial, pedicure, and massage to treat myself today and am on cloud 9. Definitely one of the best spas in Asheville.
This is a great spa experience if you are looking to ditch the chains. I got Starr and she was phenomenal. I think because she has a background in yoga she was really able to mix her knowledge of the body with the appropriate techniques for each individual. The customer service here is top notch. They start you off with a complimentary drink, a heated neck wrap and a foot soak. I would highly recommend checking it out. My only complaint would be the parking can be a bit of a struggle due to the location in a popular area.
We had a great morning at the Spa at Biltmore Village! They helped to organize a fantastic spa day for a girls trip to Asheville. We had food catered in and enjoyed the fabulous treatments and relaxing setting. The staff were so helpful and communicative in getting the day organized and keeping us updated along the way. I would recommend for your own treatment and/or a group experience!
The staff here is fantastic. My wife and I both got hour long massages and it was a great experience. We scheduled ahead and they were great about reminding us of our appointment. Once arriving, they made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. After the massages they were not pushy about leaving and let us take all the time we wanted. Well definitely be coming back here next time were in Asheville
My first time getting a massage. You are greeted as soon as you walk in. I simply filled out a one page form and they asked about what I’d like to have focused on while I had my neck wrap and feet soaking. I had a wonderful massage and facial I will be going back. I would definitely recommend. Wonderful customer service and they care about you as a person! I felt so relaxed and still do hours later. I loved everything the oils, they offer refreshments, everything was clean and such a calming place.
My experience was extremely superior. From my not being able to find them (Im not a local) to someone coming to find me standing on the street. From the foot soak, to the massage, and the gracious farewell, all was done with excellence.Elizabeth my guardian angel who knew I love to shop, gave me a awesome place to shop and offered, can you believe it, to walk me over because she couldnt remember the name. She looked up the name and called me back with the shops information, AWESOME!!In my line of work, Im big on excellent member (customer) experience and also excellent employee experience, Im HR. Those people are happy staff members and it shows! Thank you, and again thank you!
We had a very nice couples massage with Yuri and Lee. Spa is clean and comfortable, relaxing and good value. Plenty of parking in the back and on the side of the building. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Ashville area.
I was in town for work for a few days and spontaneously called to see if they could squeeze me in for a massage and pedicure. I had left a message earlier in the morning and received a prompt call back when they opened. The booking and check-in process was extremely easy and pleasant. The massage experience was amazing. Greta did wonders to work through a lot of excess stress that I had been holding in my back and shoulders. I highly recommend her! The pedicure I received was excellent. I will definitely be back when Im in town again.
I will echo what others have said about parking. Its a mess. Anyway, parking confusion made us late (got there15 mins before appointment rather than 30 mins early) so no offer of a foot soak or champagne. My other complaint is that the waiting area was not pleasant at all- refrigerator broken, dishes in sink, glasses of warm water sitting out, loud women next door in nail salon.. really not good. Owner or manager needs to do something. Massage therapists and front desk staff shouldnt be responsible for cleaning that broken down area, and customers really shouldnt have to see the cleaning taking place. I wont go back. Unfortunate, because massage by Brigid was wonderful.
Yes on day I had massage & facial appt set to go stay at Biltmore , we had severe weather on August 7th , no power & 3 tornados hit & touched down in my county & town of Dandridge TN , I called to let them know I could not leave to make it there on time & was told because it was within 24 hr I’d still be charged for both - yep in-spite of severe weather & I was a great customer for years & love Biltmore , so thinking it was rude of them , they said if I rescheduled I wouldn’t be charged , no opening s while I was there until day I check out @ noon , I took it but then got sick day of check out & asked to reschedule for when I came back Sept 7th & they said no they were charging me anyways … for years I have loved this place but now because of Brackley the one who said she was the director I have no desire to ever go back & I won’t ever . Brackley is super unprofessional & should not be in charge of such a business , and guess she felt I needed to drive to Biltmore in tornado warning weather where 3 tornados did hit my home town all the same day I was scheduled to leave to come here & the pressure to have to reschedule before I left on this trip was just an annoyance & ruined my trip to Biltmore . Biltmore use to have the most awesome director running their spa but not anymore it’s gone down the tubes so to say , its just about the money and not customers or people anymore . I miss the other professional people they use to have running the spa . Won’t go back. Its overly priced & not worth it anymore !
I had a 90-minute massage with Nina and it was blissful! I have some pain issues and was nervous about how I would tolerate the pressure but Nina had the perfect touch! Definitely going back!
Massage was great, however, the appointment that was made for 3 pedicures got changed days before arrival to 2 pedi and a facial, which was fine. Then, a day before we arrived we were called once again to change our visit to a massage, a pedi, and a facial. (Staffing issue) again, no big deal...Upon arrival, things just seemed like they were not together. I asked if I could go over which massage I would like to receive and was told yes, but never actually got to before I got into the room which resulted in me not being able to receive the actual massage I wanted. My moms pedicure was scheduled to be the ultimate/deluxe pedi (best they offer) but she only received the regular. She was never asked, nor should they have had to ask. Appointments were made!Definitely not the spa experience we expected for what we PAID, what we SCHEDULED, and with Biltmore being attached to the name. Most likely wont return 😕
My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and got the couples massage. The whole experience was incredible. The massage made me feel like new. Barbara, who gave us our facials, gave us lots of great recommendations of places to hike and places to eat. The whole experience was wonderful.
The Spa at Biltmore Village is wonderful. We received an incredible gift for a massage (including a scalp massage) and a facial. They started soaking our feet in warm water and salts, with a neck warmer to relax us. The hour plus body and scalp massage was the best ever. My therapist was sooo talented! The facial (my first) made me feel 10 years younger. They followed the experience with a glass of champagne, which was a nice touch. Check out the Spa at Biltmore Village, youll love the experience!
Hot stone massage with Lisa and facial with Rachel were amazing! All staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the Spa at Biltmore Village!
I had a Wonderful Relaxing massage I couldnt been .more happy with my message definitely be back the next time I visit Asheville the man with the magical massage Thank-You Paula
Only ask for Beth. Went this weekend as part of a friends 40th birthday girls trip. Our group had mixed experiences - more than a few of the girls left with pretty mediocre feelings on their Biltmore Spa massages. I had Beth and thought she gave one of the best massages of my life. She listened to what I wanted (medium-to-heavy pressure with focus on upper back, shoulders and neck; no oil in my hair), towed the line PERFECTLY of working out trouble areas while still making the experiences relaxing, etc. Highly recommend Beth but would only go see her.
My boyfriend and I came down on a spur of the moment weekend trip to visit the Biltmore. Decided last minute we would like to get pampered. I picked this place simply because of other reviews and that it was close to the estate. We went in and it was quaint, clean and the staff greeted us like they were happy to be working at 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning. They gave us nice comfy robes, slippers and an option of water with cut up fruit in it or hot tea. I received a wonderful facial. Both of us got massages that were fantastic. While I was getting my facial they put my boyfriend in a warm foot soak and gave him a magazine to read while waiting. If ur looking for a cozy place to go that offers any service you want, this is the place. I’ll be going back next time I return to Asheville.
Nice place with some extras. Like a foot soak before treatment and a heated neck pad. But parking is difficult . My masseuse was a bit too talkative. Standard prices
Went for a prenatal massage at 32 weeks pregnant, and my massage therapist, Melissa, was so wonderful. Relatable, personable, professional - so relaxing and perfect. The nail tech for my pedicure was also named Melissa and did a wonderful job as well. I felt so spoiled. Would definitely recommend and visit again!
My husband and I traveled from Nashville to spend the weekend in Asheville for a quick babymoon! The Spa was the perfect way to start the weekend! The front desk manager was very communicative and flexible with scheduling! All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure my experience was relaxing and special! Will highly recommend to all of my friends and family traveling here in the future!
Staff was very nice. We were walking around Biltmore Village and I decided to get a manicure. They couldnt fit me in, but was able to give me something a couple hours later. My manicurist was very nice & did a great job. Next time were in Asheville, Ill definitely visit again.
Pros- kind people, covered all basics (full body massage and facial), water/tea/champagne provided, quiet environment, and great communication prior to appointment.Cons- small area to relax, unexplained male masseuse for service, services are standard nothing above and beyond in terms of treatment (facial consists of wash, exfoliate, mask, mositurize— no extractions or enhancements offered or addressed), no amenities available (ie shower, sauna, etc.)
I’ve been twice, first massage was ok. Then today I worked with Melissa and she was spectacular! Beautiful setting, excellent customer service and lounge area.
This is the first place I went for manicures, pedicures, facials and massages when I moved to Asheville, and I’ve not gone anywhere else. They do a great job, the atmosphere is calming and everything is clean. I love a day at the spa!
Excellent massage therapist. Comfortable waiting room. Very reasonable prices. Very pleasant experience overall.
My girlfriends treated me to an hour long massage for my bachelorette. It was scheduled on a Saturday at 5pm. Arriving at exactly 5pm, they said we would only receive 30 mins of it because we arrived at 5pm (they wanted us to be there 15 mins before). We decided to still go for it and changed quickly in their cramped restroom (not even a locker room). We put our belongings in a locker. During the massage, I asked for more pressure and the lady didnt oblige me saying relaxation is all about breathing and less about the pressure. She ended the session a minute before 5:30 pm. They closed at 6pm but they were rushing to get out of there. We got home and I realized Imy apple iWatch was missing. Since they had closed, I came back first thing the following morning. I used the Find my iWatch function of Apple and it pointed to the spa as the location. I programmed it to play a sound only to get a notification that it was found. Someone in the spa had taken it and my watch was never found. I had to make several calls, follow-ups to get an update. They need to review their security policies esp in matters involving clients belongings. At the very least, do all to find it and give timely updates.
I had such a wonderful experience today. The atmosphere is so soothing. Greta did my massage today and it was amazing! Cant say enough good things about this spa! I love it!
If I could give zero stars I would. I came for my sister’s bachelorette and this spa called us to confirm our appointment which is great but they had a reservation for just one person which obviously was inaccurate. We told them that and they claimed we had called to cancel the rest of our party. Then told us they’d have the owner call us back to fix the situation and NEVER called. This ruined the brides Saturday and she was extremely upset. Horrible customer service.
Very Unprofessional front Manager Erin.Very rude and charges you for full visits if you cancel before the 24hr notice .I called 2 days prior to my appointment due to the flu and she charged me for 2 services .Never will I refer anyone or go back to this place .
Travis gave the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. Very professional, intuitive on trigger point releases, and gave stretching recommendations!
I have studied skincare and have never had a better facial than one with Suzanne at the Spa at Biltmore Village. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend!!
I went to get a facial for the first time and it burnt my skin now I have a rash on the side of my lip and it looks like herpes. I have to go to A new school next week and Im going to look like I have herpes. But the staff is really niceand it was quite relaxing
Such a wonderful experience. Juile did my facial and Melissa A did my massage. Both women were incredibly kind and good at what they do.
Great couples massage package today. Melissa was awesome and gave a great deep tissue massage (she even did some cupping).
I had a wonderful experience here! The staff were very friendly,.professional, and knowledgeable. I think this is the best spa experience Ive ever had. I definitely recommend it!
Friendly staff, elegant facility and wonderful massages. My Fiance and I will definitely be returning for a couples massage when we return to Asheville.
My daughter and I went there for manicures before her wedding, and it was the best manicure I have ever had!! Too bad I live on the West Coast, or Id be here often!
Extreamly expensive. Went fir a basic pedicure, cost me twice as much as anywhere else Ive ever been for a pedicure.
Lisa is the BEST!!! i asked for self care and relaxing spa day and she gave me just that♥️🍾🎁 can’t wait to come back next year!
My husband and I got a couples massage and both therapists were aaahhhmazing! Ask for Liz. That woman has skills!
Excellent place. Great massages and nice atmosphere. A little pricey but worth it.
Fantastic local spa with fabulous therapists and amenities.
Best massage ever! David was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about future well being!
Fantastic day spa. Offers great selections of services and interesting products.. Definitely leave the place completely relaxed .
Love it! So relaxing ❤️
Beautiful spa with top of the line therapist. My husband and I feel wonderful!
Just an ok experience got a manicure and was in a cramped space
Very friendly staff and great visit. Definitely would go again.
Small but well-staffed with excellent service.
Great experience, will be a return customer!
An unforgettable massage experience, elegant accommodations and wonderful service
Thanks to Julie for a really good massage.
Went for manicure only. Nothing really good or bad.
Wonderful and best part of my weekend.
Excellent service!
Fantastic!
