I have used Stacey-E as my masseuse many, many times and am 100% pleased each time. She listens to your needs/requests and customizes your massage based on that. She’s professional, kind and incredibly gifted. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!! Highly recommend!

My first visit was extremely pleasant with all the employees making me feel special. Elliot did a great job and helped ease my shoulder pain. The team at the North location worked very well together. Looking forward to going back on a regular basis.

First time ever here and it was fantastic. Walked in and the front desk was so nice. She made great conversation and provided me with all the information I needed. I had a massage with Devin and it was fantastic!! Listened to everything I wanted, was quiet and had a very calm attitude. It was great and I’d love to come back for another.

Massage Envy North has many great therapists..... I can now add Venus to that list! She asked me a few questions, listened, and then went to work one by one finding where my body hides stress. She was absolutely amazing!! It was relaxing and therapeutic! I feel 100% better. Thank you Venus!

I had quite a few credits built up because I havent been able to see Stephanie for my facial in a while (who is incredible by the way) and had my first massage appointment with Nara and it was fantastic. Shes super knowledgeable and helpful, was able to help me with some shoulder pain that has been driving me crazy.Looking forward to my next appointment which I booked ASAP. The staff here is fantastic and Ive never been disappointed since Ive started going here.

Kerrieann was great! She has an amazing, soothing touch. For 50 min I could escape my chronic arthritic pain & rest in peace. Afterwards I left with more flexibility and relaxed muscles. Thank you Kerrieann - you make such a difference & are truly a blessing! ❤️

Each of my massages here has been very professional and well done. My most recent massage with Devin was excellent. They are very detail oriented and did an amazing job targeting and relaxing my tension.

Ive used several Massage Envy locations over the years and this is the best collection of therapists Ive had. Usually trying a new therapist is nerve wracking, especially when you have special needs or need deep tissue. Ive never had a bad therapist here and they all offer something unique. Helpful staff as well.

Venus was fabulous! She really addressed my concerns and seemed very knowledgeable re: the regions of the body and made me feel so much better. I will definitely book additional massages with Venus!

I am going to be honest as I drove a 2 1/2 round trip to get there, Im giving it a 3 as the masseuse greeted me 5 min into my massage time at 9.35, then I had to wait an additional 10 min before she entered the room, which I now know is your policy, which is kinda excessive, it could easily be 5 min. And she ended the massage a few minutes before the end of my hour. So, my massage was more like a 42-minute massage.

My massage with therapist Venus at Massage Envy Asheville North was absolutely wonderful! She really paid attention to my needs and preferences. The facility was clean and the tranquility room is decorated well and is a very calming space.

Overall massage was wonderful! Only downside was when offered the additional services I chose to have the hot stones but unfortunately she informed me that she wasn’t trained in that area yet so I chose to have the relax aromatherapy she also informed me that she was allergic to lavender! So I didn’t receive any additional services and just went with the basic package!

Margaret paid attention to all the notes on my preferences and was thoughtful in her approach. She listened carefully to my requests and provided my muscles the release they needed. Her skills were excellent and her manner was professional but approachable and kind. Great experience!

Everyone at this Massage Envy store is very friendly and helpful. My therapist Elliott is wonderful. He always listens to what my problem areas are and gives my massages accordingly. I feel refreshed after every visit!

I’ve never had to tell a massage therapist less pressure (bc I’ve got a tough back bc of chronic pain) & I did for her bc that girl WORKS! You could tell she really put her all into it and I was extremely impressed & happy with the service. Whenever I’m able to afford it, I would love to see her on a weekly basis as my medical masseuse. Cannot recommend her enough. Give that girl a raise. & the front desk girl. She was so sweet and explained everything so nicely & she was so put together. They all deserve raises. First time at the Asheville location. Customer service was great, the facility was clean, with a relaxing aroma. Stacey did a great job addressing the areas we discussed.

My back is in terrible shape and Staci was very atune to that fact and applied just the right pressure. Next time I come, I’m asking for her again. She was awesome.

I booked an appointment and was scheduled the same day, 2 hours later. I was supposed to get there 15 minutes prior and was handed a questionnaire to fill out. It asked if I had a blood clot, and I affirmed. The therapist came out late, and when she took me to the massage room, she declined service because of the blood clot, although the blood clot was nowhere near where I needed work done. Ive been to other massage therapists and have never been refused due to this. It would be nice if the staff would communicate these concerns and ask questions prior to booking an appointment instead of wasting customers valuable time.

I am very unhappy with my experience and I’ve only had communication over the phone. (Aka haven’t even made it to my appt yet) This location has called to canceled my appointment THE DAY OF, TWICE. The staff is unhelpful and scheduled me for an appointment several days after my original appointment (the first time) I understand sickness is a real excuse and should be taken seriously however the lack is customer care for the inconvenience is ridiculous. The second time I had to take it upon myself to call another location, explain the situation and schedule another appointment with a therapist I know nothing about and is not the gender I prefer. The ashville north location either needs more staff to cover appointments or needs additional time slots that can be filled for moments like this. I am very unhappy with my experience and I have never been to the location.

Vicki is not only a very pleasant and smart therapist, but very thorough in her work. My husband and I both are happy to have found her.

This was my first time getting a massage ever. I was nervous because I get vertigo very easily so I filled that out on the I pad. Part of the problem was I should’ve communicated what I needed beforehand to accommodate for my issue. But instead I did it during the massage and kept getting dizzy, which overall made the experience not very relaxing. The other problem was I had to go on my back and I told the therapist that I can’t really do that without getting vertigo. The therapist insisted that I go on my back for the best experience and I was given a pillow but even then it was too flat and after the session I had to sit in the parking lot for an hour before driving home. Maybe there should be some way to accommodate to those with issues like mine better? I was just very upset and have lingering vertigo days later and felt there could have been a better way to get a massage with this condition.

Beware of the front desk. My boss gave me three massages. I made an appointment on the phone and drove 20 minutes to their office, and they turned me away because they couldnt find proof of purchase. They even spoke to my boss on the phone and still said that wasnt proof of purchase even though they could see in their books that she purchased a service package and the date that it was purchased. This is bad scheduling on their part. They should have resolved the issue when I scheduled the appointment on the phone prior to my arrival. Also, they did not apologize for the inconvenience to me, as if it was my fault. Finally, they told my boss that she would have to call another office to get this matter straightened out. They need to figure out a better way of conducting business.

Sage is absolutely amazing. I was there almost 2 weeks ago (visiting from FL) and Im still thinking about that massage. Sage listened to my concern areas and addressed the issues, pressure was amazing.They just have that special touch, healing hands & the most beautiful energy... I am an LMT myself so Im pretty picky but Sage was phenomenal & if I venture to Asheville anytime soon, Ill be back! :)Also, I didnt catch the receptionists name but she was a gem as well. My wife and I took advantage of Massage Envy in Asheville while we were in town. Angie, the Lobby Ambassador was incredibly professional both days and following up via phone between visits. Angie as well did an excellent job coordinating our massages, greeting us and giving us information.

Do not go here!!!! Gave my husband a gift card for hour massage. Made one appointment, they called him an hour before, saying they didnt have enough staff to do his massage and would have to reschedule. Then he went back and they only did a 25 minute maggage, telling him he used the other time filling out paperwork. Then they had the nerve to ask for a tip. He was prepared to tip them $20, however at this point, they owed money back. Very disappointed!He felt worse after, than before he went because of the stressful situation.

Felix is amazing. I havent been able to lift my arm above my head in year and after one session I was able too. Amazing person!

Michael is an AMAZING massage therapist! I had been having neck pain and tightness for a week, and now I feel so much better and so refreshed. If you’re looking for firm pressure, he’s right for you. He really targeted some of the knots I perpetually have in my shoulders. Michael is also very friendly and polite.

Wow....I was left speechless after my massage from Michael R. Im an RN who works 12-13 hour shifts at a hospital and my whole body typically carries lots of stress and aches. He melted all of that stress away and I feel like Ive been completely reset. Like Ive just come back from a 2 week-long vacation.Im moving away in a week and am sad that I have to find another therapist who likely wont measure up to his expertise, but Ill keep an open mind. I have been going to massage envy for four years now and yesterday got the best facial I have ever had by Vanessa. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming. Alayna was also very helpful checking me in and out and taking me to the tranquility room to relax before my session!

Great massage focused on areas of pain. Going once a month has helped chronic tension in neck and shoulders that contributed to headaches. Convenient and easy to schedule due to having evening appointments after work!

My back was sore afterwards there was a little bit of bruising. Customer service was good.I realize that they said my therapist would be heavy handed but I was very sore afterwardsWill not visit again.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have been a member for 12 years (started in Arizona location). This Asheville location turns over staff like crazy, I have had to change therapist multiple times to find a decent deep tissue massage and then when I find one, they quit. I have built up TEN credits due to this location canceling the appointments on me. The past 4 months I have had my appointment cancelled for various reasons but tonight they cancelled 20 minutes before the service due to the therapist hand is hurting. It’s funny how it’s okay for them to cancel the last minute on you but if you cancel your appointment the same day with them, you are charged. Tonight, I am signing my cancelation form and I am going to lose all TEN credits ($550 worth) because it’s not worth the stress anymore. This place is supposed to relieve stress; not add to it.

I love the staff and environment at ME North. Especially Victoria my regular masseuse (she is excellent); m being able to schedule her consistently is very much appreciated.

Poorest massage Ive ever had. More like being poked in the back of er and over plus they completely ignored the sheet that I filled out fir what parts of body needed massaging and what areas not to touch. I paid for full body and got the worst massage possible. A 5 year old couldve done better. It was a female masseuse cant remember her name or Id definitely warn you away from her if you do go.

Maureen listened to my needs and wants, and nailed it taking care of them (feet and neck). I walked out feeling like I wasnt just a client, that she really cared about how I felt and my experience. I cant wait to go back.

I have been coming to this Massage Envy location for a little over 5 years now. Michael R has also been my go to massage therapist for this entire time. He is absolutely the best and is always super booked so get on his schedule as soon as possible! He really learns your problem areas and areas you may not like massaged. It is such a relaxing experience. I think my only issue is that since the pandemic so many places are low on staff so when he is booked I find it hard to get in with anyone else. I know this isnt Massage Envys fault as this is everywhere.

I love getting massages but dont get them often because of the cost. I useda gift card from Christmas and got a great massage from Paige - she nearly put me to sleep. I felt so nice & relaxed I knew I wanted to return and signed up for the membership. I will say there were a couple receptionists do looked like they didnt want to be there but ignored them cause the people who helped me were friendly.

This was my first time ever getting a massage and Kendra did a wonderful job of making me feel comfortable. She was very professional and made great communication throughout the session. I definitely recommend her

Recently I had switched from using my membership for massages to face treatments due to my disappointment in the quality of massage I had received from Massage Envy and my opinion has been changed due to the high quality of massage I received yesterday. Woke up feeling better than ever this morning!

Michael R gives the best deep tissue massage in the world! TRUE deep tissue work (not just a firm swedish massage.. I have found that many therapists think that is deep tissue, but they are two very different modalities!). 100 stars!

Victoria was excellent! Perfect pressure, not too light, not too deep, light lotion as requested, and she targeted all the areas that needed attention. I will definitely be returning for Victoria!

My daughter gave me a gift card at Massage Envy for Christmas. I waited until my 66 birthday, in March to use it. Never had a Massage in my life. At first I did not know what to do or expect. When I walked threw the door, there was an auormor that this place was where I needed to be. Smiles and a very comfortable atmosphere that I began to relax and the cucumber water, different, but refreshing.My therapist Ni is the very best. She treats me all so well and because she does an excellent job, I have a memberships and love it. Thank-you to all the staff at Massage Envy for given me great service.

My massages with Kendra were amazing. The problem with this location is the front desk.They lack training and the turnover is incredible, which is part of the problem.You can have a great, relaxing massage and then come out and pay and deal with the front desk and have that relaxing experience turned into a very frustrating experienceI have been a member for over a year and I am trying to cancel my membership, again, a very frustrating experience, I called 3 days ago and the person at the front desk said they didn’t have the power to cancel my membership that a manager would call. Three days later no manager call, again to my point of how inefficient the front desk is in handling anything.

Good inexpensive massages. Get into the schedule it might take a few weeks.

Joe at Asheville North was great. I had a lot of shoulder and neck discomfort and was leaving for a long driving trip the next day. Joe addressed the issues and I felt so much better. Ive been a member of ME for years, it helps keep me feeling my best.

Avoid this branch at all costs! I have gone to massage envy in Massachusetts with my daughter, and had great experiences. She came to visit me in Asheville, and booked massages for both of us. Never again! The manager (rudest person I’ve ever met) informed me that the massage person (male) refused to massage me. I was astounded! They didn’t inform my daughter, and left me waiting for 1 1/2 hrs. Do not want to go into further detail here, but would appreciate hearing from corporate to discuss the manager’s appalling attitude.and apparent age discrimination of the massage person.

Got a gift card over the holidays and had never been to massage envy. I regularly get massages and have probably had a couple dozen therapists. I have some pretty moderate pain from marathon training, some hip dysplasia, and mild scoliosis. Ive seen a variety of health care pros and chiropractors but have never experienced as much relief as I did today with Dericks therapy. The staff were kind, warm, and professional. Easily the best massage Ive ever had.

I have been a member for 3 years and never cancelled an appointment. The therapists have been great. I had to cancel an appointment on the same day. I woke up sick and with a fever. I called and was told I could not come in with a fever, BUT they would still charge me for part of the appointment. I will never go back to Massage Envy. The company policy is inappropriate

AJ is an excellent Massage Therapist, I went in with lower back spasms & needed a “ deep tissue “ massage! He knew exactly what I needed & made sure the pressure was just right & not too much!! I will be back , I actually went ahead & purchased a year membership!!

Called around 2pm to make an appointment for a tension migraine headache. Explained to them that this is what I had.i spoke with this location 2x both times said the words migraine & headache. Showed up to my appointment only for them to refuse me services because I had a covid symptom... I understand policies, when someone is seeking treatment for a tension headache, then they know what they are talking about. I dont like to take pain medication of any kind unless I absolutely have to. I was in Pain all that time when I could have tried to find services else where. I spoke with the owner and he stated that if anyone was to come in suffering from a tension migraine they would be refused services even if they were already established and it was in their files. I promise you they arent being turned away.. they are just not saying they have a headache. He only offered me an apology. And honestly after my experience even if he would have offered compensation I wouldnt have used it. Its the damn principle! My regular provider has no problem seeing me, however, they were booked.

So my wife and I were traveling in the Asheville area and decided to book massage appointments at this location. We booked for Sunday afternoon appointments together on Thursday and then proceeded to a cabin with poor cell reception. Sunday morning we woke up and headed into town for out appointments. When we got back into cell coverage we had voicemails and text messages from Saturday saying that my massage therapist would not be available, but that the 90 min massage for my wife was still available to give them a call. So about 2 hours prior to the appointment we called to find out that they didnt have any other appointments for me, but they still expected to see my wife. She no longer wanted to have an appointment since we were scheduled at the same time, and the receptionist said they would be charging us a 50% cancellation fee. We pointed out this was not FAIR since they had cancelled my appointment the day before and asked to have a manager call us. The manger refused to call and instead had the same receptionist call back to say they would still be charging the fee. Unbelievable!

I would love to give a review of the service but I cant. .My children bought me a 100 dollar gift card for fathers day and they have canceled 4 times , my gift is about to expire and Mgr. Wont reply. Or refund a unusable gift. This is fraudulent. To add to my trouble today 9/29 the manager had called apologized set me an appt for today and neglected to say it was at a different location from where I set the original appt. How convenient, and another appt. Mishandled, results...no massage no refund STILL!!!!!

This company is incapable of handling money and has fraudulently charged my husband and myself for hundreds of dollars. My husband and I were members at this location for 6 months. The sign up was a breeze. The cancellation not so much. I can’t tell you how many people I have spoken with about getting our membership canceled, and I have received a different story from every person. We started the cancellation process in September, and thought everything was taken care of. Then we were billed in October, after we were assured that everything had been done correctly. So I called, again, to find out what had happened. I was told they never received our cancellation paperwork, which luckily I still had. They refunded one of our payments for the month. November came and went with no problems, but then in December, we were billed AGAIN. We haven’t been to this location since October, to deal with the previous fiasco. Can someone please explain to me how this could happen? You would think it would be a simple phone call, but you would be wrong. We frantically called the massage envy this morning after realizing we had been incorrectly billed (again) and their answer was the same, “call back later, I can’t do anything about it.” They are more than willing to pass you to the next person just so they do not have to help you. Do NOT sign up for a membership with this company unless you are willing to chase them down for months to get things taken care of.

I had Matt Rodgers for a back massage, and couldnt be happier. This young man did an outstanding job, and I highly recommend him to everyone! Atmosphere is very comfortable, massage tables are heated and cooled, just a great experience! Parking lot is a little difficult to get in and out of, but plenty of parking available.

I have had a membership for over a year and a half, And I feel foolish for letting this thievery go on as long as I have. 75% of the time I call for an appointment they have no available slots... The one time I tried to make an appointment way in advance, it ended up not working out with my schedule and when I had to cancel it was all I could do to keep them from charging me extra money. When I realized I wasn’t using my massage credits I opted to cancel but pay extra money to allow myself extra time to use up my credits... Surprise surprise I was only able to use one or two during the allotted time...and Then they started charging me again!!! To top all this off the 50% of the time that I do make it on the schedule, Massage envy has called to cancel or reschedule. This one star review is not a reflection of the employees or masseuses... only their shady business practices, And their inability to make their business model run smoothly.

Michael is professional and listens to exactly what you need! Calming and rejuvenating. You’ll feel so much better when you get off the table!

Ethan was awesome. Even left me with some advice on how to treat a muscle pain that has been bothering me for awhile.I did not catch her name, but the front desk assistant (Merrimon location)was also helpful and very friendly. Glad to be a member.

We are Massage Envy members in Knoxville and it seemed to be a safe and predictable choice to book appointments here. My wife and I had a 90 minute couples massage. It was heaven. This facility is impeccably clean and professional.

I got another great massage from Fabiola. The space is clean, warm, and inviting. The process to sign up and sign out are easy, and a massage itself was wonderful.

My massage on my neck and shoulders was great.. My legs not so much. I told the therapist to ease up on the pressure of my legs.. He did alittle. But both my legs are bruised now at rhe outside of my knees.. I also added on a foot scrub treatment.. I felt that it wasnt worth the 15 i paid for it. I will be back just with a different therapist.

It is completely and entirely impossible to reach this location by phone - so when you move away, and Massage Envy wont let you transfer which location is your home location, it is not possible to get a hold of this place to move your credits, or, more importantly, cancel your subscription. Please, do not buy into the Massage Envy system - it is a complete scam that is impossible to get out of. I hope I can save at least one of you reading.

Vickie and Alaina (I hope I’m spelling your names correctly) have been awesome to work with at the North Asheville location. Alaina has been so helpful with booking appointments and answering all of my questions! She really goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Vickie is one of the best in Asheville, she really concentrates on your needs and does an amazing job! Highly recommend!

The place was late opening so I only received 30 minutes instead of one hour. I requested a specialty reflexology massage, as advertised. After getting inside room, was told they did NOT offer that specialized service. So, received a nice easy foot massage...how ever was so disappointed I didnt get what they advertised. I.was compensated for the service, if course. However, I will not be going back to the one on Merrimon Ave. Asheville

Horrible. Went in for a 6:00 massage and no one came out to see me for over an hour after checking in. I sat and waited because I thought I must have mistaken the time and my appointment was a 7. At 7:10 I talked to the front desk and the said my appointment was at 6 but, my masseuse Tom never came and got me. They said they would put a note in the file.. maybe just pay attention to the fact youve had a customer sitting in your waiting room for over an hour. If you go which I dont suggest, dont get Tom.
