I recently had an amazing massage with Joel Derrick at Massage on Wheels. His therapeutic skills were awesome! Joel has a deep understanding of the body and uses a perfect blend of pressure and relaxation to target all tension points. He reached tension spots I didnt even know I had. I left feeling GREAT!The tranquil ambiance added to the overall experience.Joel is a true professional and a gifted therapist. Highly recommend! THANKS JOEL!

Eryn is an amazing massage therapist. She is warm, inviting, and made sure I was comfortable. She is skillful in targeting the areas you request. Her gentleness and calmness makes getting a massage an even more relaxing experience. Hands down one of the best massages I’ve had.I also want to give kudos to the folks who check people in. Every time I have gone, it’s such a welcoming presence when you walk in.Thank you for offering such a relaxing and rejuvenating place!

We booked a one-hour couples massage last month. An hour before our appointment the staff called us to ask if we could come in earlier. We told them we were about 45 minutes away but would try our best. We ended up starting the session at the originally scheduled time. But since the staff had mad errors in the scheduling they were only able to give us a rushed 30 minute massage. It was ... okay. Definitely not the best. And it was definitely rushed. This didnt stop them from charging us for the whole hour anyway at a rate that was already inflated. All in all. We paid $250 dollars for a mediocre 30 minute massage for two. I have repeatedly asked for half of the fee to be refunded. I was denied this request and blamed for the error. I asked numerous times to speak with ownership about this matter....all requests have been ignored. Good luck with this place.REPLY: I dont think there was a misunderstanding at all. Your staff dropped the ball with scheduling and then charged us for services that werent rendered. Then refused to refund.You claim that your online booking software does not accommodate automatic bookings for couples which is not the responsibility of the consumer. If this is the cause of this problem then that liability falls on your business and you are responsible for ensure than you are charging your customers correctly.You claim your policy is clearly stated in your service description which actually states: Please note that a second therapist will be added to your booking once reviewed by our staff.-This does not state that you will attempt to move your scheduled time as you want to and if you cant make that time you still have to pay $220 plus tip.We proposed an earlier time of 11:45 AM instead of 12:15 PM, which you verbally confirmed as acceptable.-This is not accurate. Your staff asked if we could come earlier and we informed your staff that we were staying 45 minutes away and would do everything we could do come earlier. This does not constitute a commitment to a different booking. At the end of the day we scheduled 12:15 and not 11:45 and that was the commitment. This is YOUR responsibility to provide the service as scheduled.Since the appointment time was clearly agreed upon, we must maintain that we are not liable for the lost appointment time due to the late arrival.-The clearly agreed upon time was 12:15. You are liable for the lost appointment time and we were not late as that was the time we scheduled and the time arrived. Again, we were asked to come earlier and attempted to. Your failure to schedule properly is not our liability.Recognizing your dissatisfaction, we offered a 50% discount on your next visit to make amends, which you declined.-You offered a solution you knew we would not benefit from as we are not from the area and reside 6 hours away. That was a useless and valueless proposal.Your business practices are shady at best. Your refusal to refund for services not rendered is ridiculous and borderline criminal. Your refusal to even contact me back about this matter reinforces this. This matter has been referred to the BBB and I will be detailing your business practice on every social media and review forum I possibly can.

My husband and I are in town for a quick getaway. We were able to book massages with just one days notice which was fantastic! I had Dominic, he was absolutely incredible. He was clearly so confident and precise and experienced. I am sad we dont live nearby so I can spend every penny I make here! My husband had Crystal and was happy as well! A must try if youre local or in town for vacation!

Dawn and Elizabeth were excellent in our couples session! They listened to us and put extra focus on the areas we discussed.

All the therapists here are very skilled and knowledgeable. The medical massages are genuinely therapeutic and have helped with my severe neck and hip pain. I appreciate this place so much.

Dominic is a very talented and very skilled massage therapist. Having visited dozens of LMTs over the years, what I appreciate most, and look for, is the ability to read and respond to what they discover with the body as they work through the treatment.Dominic clearly adapts his process to what he finds, and in my opinion does an exceptional job of adapting his techniques based on that information. Im very grateful to have found him here in AVL.

Both massage therapists made sure they understood our needs and preferences and we were both incredibly happy with the results and completely relaxed. Iridesza Qilin is the star at this practice! I would recommend her to anyone as her skill is beyond anyone I have ever worked with! She is very friendly and attentive to my needs and makes the entire experience very comfortable and enjoyable!

Everyone I have worked with here is a great massage therapist. I have been going here since I moved to AVL about three years ago. I normally just take what’s open but will be looking to go back to Steve. I like very hard pressure and he did a great job on my neck and shoulders.

Toni did a great job at the Bent Creek Lodge. Toni was very professional and came with everything needed to give me a fully relaxing massage experience in the comfort of my own room. I had a lot of tension in my shoulders and they did a great job working out the knots in my shoulders helping to relieve that tension. I was also very impressed with the way that my current mobility issues were accommodated and Toni was still able to do a full body relaxing message without me needing to move.

Ive been traveling for more than a week and my back got really jammed up. Had a great first-experience here with Nicholas. 10/10 would recommend. Ive gotten massages elsewhere in AVL and plan to return here as my primary choice.

Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I called, everyone was beyond kind and accommodating. The lady who booked me was sweet and quickly efficient, got me an at home massage scheduled for within the hour! Nick then showed up perfectly on time and didn’t waste a moment getting me relaxed. He massaged the entire time I booked and really listened to my needs of where I wanted the focus areas to be. I was nervous to do an at home massage as I had never had that done, but Nick made me feel comfortable and stress free, this was by far the best experience, I’m so glad I tried it! Perfect massage then getting to relax instead of leaving the salon and drive home, just stay relaxed! Looking forward to be a regular with Nick! If you’re thinking about it, book with them! Had an awesome couples massage. The space is beautiful and the front desk staff is super friendly. I love their tea selection. My therapist was Nick. He was amazing! He did this one technique that I’ve only had one other therapist do in my many years of seeking a regular massage place here in Asheville. I’ve found my massage place. Had a fantastic massage with Joey S, could not recommend him more. I called MOW on a Saturday night and described my issue over the phone (stress headache from overwork on the computer) and was matched with the perfect therapist for early Sunday. I quickly described my issue to Joey and how my massage therapist at home corrects it and he knew exactly what I was talking about! He got rid of my headache and other aches and pains and honestly saved my weekend away in Asheville.Edit: Note that, as others have said, they do charge for the service at the time of booking, probably because they offer last minute booking and the providers are rearranging their schedules to be available. I had no issues with it.

I see Timothy Berger regularly and I always leave feeling better and more relaxed. He is sure to address any problem areas and helped me get through my marathon training injury free. He also had never made me feel self-conscious or uncomfortable with my body.

Absolutely recommend Massage on Wheels. My husband and I get couples massages here when we get time away from our little one and our experiences are always very good but tonight was by far the best massages weve ever had. We had Tim and Megan and they were both professional, sweet, and communicated with us about our needs and it was absolutely amazing especially since we booked a late evening massage. They took great care of us and I just had to shout them out. Also big shout out to the receptionist there this evening she was so sweet and I hate that I didnt ask for her name but she was also wonderful 😊

LOVED having Jen, Tara, and Tim service our group of 8 women for our bachelorette weekend celebrations! Went here for a couples massage this weekend. I would have to say it was a great massage! However, paid for an hour and didn’t quite get a full hour. We were called back right at our appointment time in spite of arriving 15 minutes early so our massage was more like 50 minutes. The therapists were both great and it was very relaxing.

They both asked questions to make sure we get what we want on our massage session. They definitely know what theyre doing. I don’t remember the first two ladies but wanted to leave a review for Daniel~ he does a fantastic job, can go light or deep if needed and if receptive to feedback/direction. My wife and I had excellent treatment and massage therapy with Katie, who took great care of our issues. My wife has had a bad knee for months and the help she got had her walking without pain. My shoulder stiffness was gone, and Katie was very helpful and sensitive to the type of pressure that was needed. This was a blessing during our vacation in Asheville NC as we came away rejuvenated from our massage! We wish we were closer, but we will return again. Excellent staff and all around professional care.

OMG! I feel like someone gave me a new pair of feet. Joey did such a phenomenal job. He hit all the spots my feet were crying about. I feel so rejuvenated and relaxed. My husband and I decided on a last minute honeymoon massage and they were happy to get us in same day. We loved Nicholas and Dominic. I was triggered from a past trauma and had a bit of a panic attack right before my massage. They were very understanding and made sure I was comfortable. They listened to medical issues, physical concerns, and comfort levels with knowledge and compassion. The massage was the perfect balance of relaxing and working out knots. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a massage, along with great communication and customer service! Tim is amazing and by far the best massage therapist I’ve had! He is knowledgeable on the human body and uses his years of experience to communicate with your body to help it get back to a proper neutral position - something I have not experienced until today. I thoroughly enjoyed his insight and learning to understand my body a lot more. I will be coming to AVL more often just for Tim’s magic!

My husband and I were vacationing in the area and at the last minute we decided on a Couples massage. We were unable to get on the schedule with other masseuses in the area. These masseuses were awesome! They were able to accommodate us in their busy schedule. The massages were absolutely wonderful, refreshing, and relaxing. Having worked for an orthopedic surgeon and having dealt with many other masseuses, I can honestly say, best Ive ever experienced. This was the first massage my husband ever had and he loved it! Cassie was absolutely incredible! Truly the best “massage” I’ve ever had, and I put that in quotation marks because it was more healing and body restoration than just a plain ol’ massage! If I even lived remotely close to Asheville, she would be tired of seeing me due to how many times I would come see her. My brother purchased a 60 min massage for me with Massage on Wheels. I scheduled an appointment with Alyssa Enriquez, the owner, and what a great experience! Alyssa arrived slightly before the massage was supposed to begin and set up her massage table in my tiny yoga studio. The whole experience was very friendly and professional. During the massage she used Swedish, Thai and medical massage techniques that left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It was arguably the best massage I have ever received! Amazing 🤩 We booked a couples massage for the next day and got in Easy peasy! It was the perfect way to decompress after a backpacking trip in the smokies. My husband and I were reluctant to commit to massage appointments during our vacation to be able to have flexibility in our schedule. I called massage on wheels in the morning and had two AMAZING therapists at our cabin door at 4:30PM for two 90 minute couples massages (and on the secluded cabin balcony nonetheless)! Nickolas and Katie were absolutely phenomenal! So professional and really listened to and worked on what we mentioned. I can not speak high enough of their services. Book them, you won’t regret it!!

Relocated to Asheville a few months ago (after visiting here for many years) and have been searching for new providers for, well, everything. Had a great massage with Dominic Cusi at Asheville Massage and Bodyworks (in office). The environment was very pleasant, parking was readily available, and the location was easy to find. Dominic was extremely professional and very skilled. He had clearly read my notes on the intake form ahead of time, and asked a few clarifying questions before we started. He focused on the areas where I had the most tension, and adjusted pressure to my preference. Would definitely recommend.

I was nervous about getting a massage during COVID times and I was very impressed with their professionalism and care they took in their building and rooms to keep everyone safe. Everything was incredibly clean and everyone wore masks. Nicholas J was my massage therapist and he was very professional and my massage was absolutely amazing. I would absolutely go back there for a massage!

Massage on Wheels has to be my favorite spa Ive found in the Asheville area. I was tired of chains with mixed levels of service (i.e., Massage Envy, Hand & Stone). Generally you get what you pay for. I booked the signature 30 min foot soak with hour massage with Jessica H. Parking is easy there is a big open lot. When I walked in, the staff immediately greeted me with smiles and a complimentary tea. The foot soak room was really peaceful and I was able to unwind with a Rose while my feet soaked. I will say, the presentation and quality was top notch. Jessica informed me that the owner makes all of the products herself which I thought was excellent. The foot soak reminded me of potpourri but the concoction was indeed signature. The floral aroma was overwhelming. After the soak and Rose, Jessica provided me with an excellent foot massage which was super relaxing. Afterwards, we went upstairs to the crystal room for the massage. Jessicas technique was superior, she really knows how to work out the knots and use appropriate pressure. In addition to being friendly, the conversation was wonderful. Its great how you can connect with people when you keep an open heart. Overall I would give this place an A+ in terms of quality, especially given the cost is reasonable for what you are receiving. Highly recommended.

I had a 90 minute massage with Dawn today. My first time at MOW. Relaxing atmosphere and amazing massage. Highly recommend Dawn. She did an amazing job and took care of my problem areas.

Alyssa and her team did a great job bringing the spa ambiance into our rental property. They were very professional and down to earth- making the whole experience super relaxing. I had Melissa for a 90 min prenatal massage and she did such a great job relieving tension in my lower back and helping with some swelling in my feet and ankles. There was a nice balance of focus on my problem areas while giving a great overall massage. My husband had a Alyssa and she was great about working around his back issues and really tailoring the massage to his needs. Overall the massages were top notch and I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for spa quality care without leaving the house.

Called to set up three couples massages for six people while we’re in town. Filled out the required information and received invoices for the appointment request. I called to follow up and they demanded payment before they would give us a confirmed appointment time. I’ve never had to pay 100% of a massage service prior to the appointment. A deposit, sure. But they stated “that’s the way they do things” when six people were ready to pay nearly a thousand dollars for services. Considering we have no way to know if they would show up after we send them a digital payment, we decided to book with a different company. Their business model made everyone uncomfortable.

After a long day of hiking my body felt it the following day! I called Alyssa and she sent Nick out to help me. I couldn’t walk without pain but nick gave me an amazing massage and helped my very sore body, especially my legs. He was very thorough and I’m thankful we could do it in the comfort of our Airbnb! I highly recommend these massage therapists because they know what they’re doing. Best massage I’ve had in years! I felt so much better and was able to enjoy my trip! I’m so grateful! Massage on wheels is such a great idea!! Not everybody has the time to take out of their day to go to a massage parlor for treatment. The fact that I can call them up and set an appointment time that is convenient for my schedule AND have them come to me, is incredible. Peter K. gave the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. It was true body work, and rivaled work I have had done by a therapist from Orlando who used to travel with a professional basketball team and treated the players. It was a “same day” appointment, and everything down to the very friendly woman at the front desk made it a great experience. I will be back the next time I am in Asheville.

I had my first massage yesterday from Amanda and it was SOO GOOD! She was very professional, the room was decorated so nicely, and it was the most relaxing hour of my life! I was one of their first customers and as they grew. I even work book a few massages for my friend who visited once a month. I wanted to give my hair salon something as a thank you for the constant rescheduling and fitting me in at a moments notice. So I gave the three (who did everything possible for me) 90 minute massages. They were so pleased but when I explained that she was coming to them and how I was themseeing her once a week at least. I have had a great experience with Massage on Wheels. All of the therapists Ive seen have been excellent. On multiple occasions they have helped me work through painful situations with success. Its easy to book appointments and they are conveniently located. They are great!!!

Alyssa was super responsive and came to us and provided an excellent customized experience. They really bent over backwards to make the couples massage work for us outdoors within our time frame and within the inns space restrictions. The therapists were professional, very thorough, pleasant, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Massage on Wheels to anyone visiting or living in Asheville.

Wow what can I say!! Such an amazing experience I had. My massage therapist was the best ever!! Her name was Brittney and she did a fantastic job. She made me feel relaxed and really worked out the pain i had in my upper back and shoulders. I was in so much pain for 2 weeks prior and when she finished the pain was gone. I can’t thank Massage on Wheels enough! When I was looking for someone to help my friend who is terminal and was in a lot of pain I called them. I had tried a few others and didn’t get great responses. I called Massage on Wheels and was greeted with a friendly, helpful and caring person. She instantly figured out a solution that we could do to help my friend. The owner Alyssa stepped up and has been an instrumental part of helping to keep the pain down for my friend through regular massage therapy. She is kind and genuinely cares for her clients. I can’t recommend her company enough! Truly grateful for all of the help and for making my friend have a better quality of life in the end of his.

I couldnt resist the idea of an in-home massage. Online scheduling. No driving. Familiar environs. My own robe. A hot shower afterwards. Yes, please! I added on hot stones and a scalp massage - amazing! Kate arrived early to set up which was a nice surprise; I got a massage for the full time. She adjusted what she did to my requests, and spent extra time on my shoulder where I needed it. Very happy! Ill be scheduling again as soon as I heal from an upcoming procedure! Thank you!

AMAZING!!! My husband and I had a 90 minute couples massage while visiting Asheville. We got appointments quickly and efficiently. Our therapists were Raynn & Katie. Hands down one of the best massages weve ever had. Super friendly staff and stayed late on a Saturday night for us to have a later massage. Also, sanitation practices were implemented, which we appreciated due to COVID.Compliments about Raynn:Loved how she got right to it. No frou-frou, I appreciated that she spent time on the areas I told her that were bothersome. I felt the time was well spent on my body and well worth the money. Most therapists Ive had dont usually get to the problem areas until about half way through the massage then there isnt enough time to work on what I came in for. Which typically leaves me disappointed. She was super strong and listened to my body. Loved her!Compliments about Katie:She listened to my husbands needs and preferences but also to the needs of his body. My husband does not like deep pressure, however Katie knew certain areas of his body needed them. She was attentive and courteous of making sure pressure was good and worked areas on his body that were in desperate need of firmer pressure without him realizing it until she began working. I received my first massage with Alyssa as a christmas gift and have continued to book with her as often as possible since then. I have found my time on her table to be very therapeutic. I am always happy with the results I have the next day and sometimes the benefits last weeks. I have had many massages in several countries around the world and experience with very talented masseuses here in Asheville, so I have some fairly large expectations. She has won the spot as my preferred massage therapist.

I received an excellent massage from Shannon Little Brave 2 weeks ago. I’ve been having chronic pain in my left knee due to severe osteo arthritis. My orthopedic surgeon said it’s about time for that knee replacement. Shannon found an area that needed some myofascial release on my left thigh. She worked & worked it. Within 48 hours, I was beginning to have less and less pain. I’ve been pain free since then, so I plan to get that knee replaced in a few months, but in the meanwhile, I’m pain free. Massage on Wheels was able to accommodate our late sane day request for much needed massages!She arrived with the table and a supply of massage oil/lotion.We chose back to back massages since we didnt think the hotel room would accommodate two massage tables. Our therapist was great! She listened to our comments about what was bothering us and what type of pressure we like.She adapted each massage as she worked through them. She even added on additional time as I wanted a slightly longer massage.The music she had playing blocked out any hotel sounds that would have ruined the relaxation from a massage.Overall a truly superior service!

What a wonderful service and team! My bridal party surprised me when they booked in-home massage services for the group of us to start off my bachelorette weekend - we were blown away. Every girl LOVED their massage and masseuse (Nickolas & Raynn). My shoulders feel lighter than they have in months because my therapist really focused in on the entire muscle in a way that no one else ever has! I can hardly type this review because I’m so relaxed. I usually get massages once a month, however Nickolas from Massage On Wheels is one of the best massages I’ve had. He is so knowledgeable on the muscular system, especially the neck, back and shoulders. He taught me some great stretches - I will be calling them again every time I visit Asheville.

I have gotten multiple massages from this company. It is so awesome, they come to my house and bring all the supplies. I can’t say enough good things about the therapists on their team. Katie does really good deep tissue, I can feel all my facia breaking up when I work with her. Shannon is an amazing healer with great presence and pressure, her knowledge of Chinese Medicine and acupressure points not only relieve all my tension, but also rejuvenates my chi and energy levels. Melissa’s reflexology restructured my foot after years of misuse, in one session. Alyssa is a great clinical bodyworker and an even better business owner. She always matches me up with the perfect therapist for my needs.

I just had my first massage with Nick Z. and I’ve already purchased a package to see him for the rest of the month! First of all, I love that there is a reputable company that can come to your home, especially during COVID. They also have extended hours, which is really great for people who can’t make it to an office 9am-5pm. I was able to schedule my in-home massage at 8pm to coincide with my toddler’s bath/bedtime that my husband does. So while he was getting her ready for bed, I was getting my massage. The timing was perfect for us. Nick Z. was on time (actually he came a few minutes early so we could start on time!) He was professional and I felt very comfortable and at ease having him in my home. He has excellent communication skills and was very knowledgeable about his trade. I have had many massages and he educated me on a few things no one has ever told me before! He also really listened to my needs and focused on exactly what I told him I needed help with. I’ve told therapists in the past to just focus on one part of my body and they have totally disregarded it and just did the basic whole body routine. Not Nick Z! I was in a car accident and told him I have tons of pain in my shoulders, neck and upper back and that is EXACTLY what he worked on the entire time!! He also gave me some stretches and things I can do in between to help until I see him next time. He’s amazing! Book him! You won’t be disappointed!!

I have never given a 5 star rating, but I cannot begin to tell you how above and beyond Alyssa from Massage on Wheels went to make sure my boyfriend and I had the best experience possible. Best massage Ive had in a loooong time!Alyssa arrived right on time and provided everything needed for the massage- the table, sheets, blankets, even a warming cushion for the massage table! The massage itself was incredible. She provided just what I needed- a combination of deep tissue massage mixed with some deep stretching. I was experiencing sciatic-like pains and tingling in my lower back, hips, gluts, and legs, and after the massage I felt SO MUCH BETTER. Alyssa really understands how to read your body and what it needs and where it needs attention. I cant wait for my next massage. So therapeutic and relaxing!

Have struggled with migraines and lower back pain for years and he really took a full perspective during the massage for handling these issues, focusing on balancing the head, shoulders, hips, and legs for optimal relief. I wasnt sure how Id feel about getting a massage in my own home, but it was delightful! The therapist communicated well with me about scheduling, arrived on time, and made me very comfortable immediately. She even brought her own music! Once I closed my eyes, I felt like I was in the nicest spa... except I didnt have to drive anywhere when it was done. I was already home! Theres a lot to be said about that.. I always feel like the massage feeling ends as soon as I walk outside from a normal in-spa treatment. This is a whole new way to do it.The massage itself was phenomenal! Ive had a lot of massages in my day, from physical therapy to stress reduction, and 99% of the time they just follow a plan, moving from one spot to the next.. and when Id feel something that felt like it needed attention, they were already on to the next. This was different. The therapist seemed to zero in on the spots I needed help with, and focused on healing them. She didnt just move along to keep with the program, but gave focused attention exactly where I needed it. **This is what every therapeutic massage should be.** (Im an athlete, so my focus is normally sports massage.)I highly recommend Massage on Wheels for anyone who wants (or needs) an effective massage, when and where its convenient for you. The setting in his office is comfortable with appropriate music to set a calming mood. The office is clean, organized and the linens are fresh. Dominic puts extra effort into creating an environment that is right for relaxation. While these are important in selecting a therapist, Dominic’s skills will keep clients returning. However, one of the staff( keeping the name confidental ) shared with me some information that deeply concerned me about the attitude towards COVID requirements.This person (not my therapist) knew me and I believe them. My massage therapist Rayne was awesome. I prefer a lighter massage and she was very gentle. But in certain places like my neck and my hips I liked more pressure and she was able to accommodate that as well. Most of all, I felt very comfortable with her

This was my first time going there and it was a much needed trip. I had Cassie who seemed to have the hands of an angel and managed to hit every pressure point on my back. Please do not give this company your business! I had booked an appointment for massages for my husband and I and the evening before our appointment my husband found out he had been exposed to COVID so I cancelled the appointments for the safety of the therapists. The owner of the business, Alyssa,called me the next morning to inform me that she was going to charge me $25 per appt to reschedule or $100 per appt to cancel. I was amazed!! I was trying to do what our Dr told us to protect the community and she charged me for it! She actually laughed at me when I was explaining why she should wave the fees because of the COVID situation. Even though her confirmation email stated there would be no fees or penalties if COVID related. She did not care about her employees.....only about the money she was going to loose. Please book your massage with a business that cares about us and protecting us from this horrific virus.

UPDATE: Jan 1, 2019: I am truly shocked at the reply that Alyssa left on my review as I not only was able to book with her on their website 3 mons prior to our trip, I also spoke with her on the phone 1-2 weeks prior to our trip and that’s when she told me that she wasn’t sure if she would be able to do my massage because “she had a lot going on”. ..that was the only time I spoke with Alyssa on the phone about our booked appt..If this information is listed on their site I can assure you it was just added AFTER my review..I have no reason whatsoever to be dishonest about a company I’ve never used before. After I posted my initial google review, Alyssa emailed me very soon after it posted apologizing to me for my experience and told me she was limited to one client per day. She never mentioned to me that she no longer did massages nor did she say anything was posted on her website that she wasn’t available for bookings. If you look at the reviews, they are mostly on Alyssa so she obviously does massages. In her email, She even offered me a free couple’s massage and asked if I would reconsider my 1 star review. Alyssa, I don’t appreciate you trying to make me look like I am being dishonest. I’m a very honest and respectable person and I’m offended by your attempt to make me look otherwise. I will say with certainty that I would never consider using your company after your dishonest reply about me.My rating is based on my experience with this company and not a massage since we had to cancel our trip due to a recent snow storm that hit the area. I had booked a couples massage as a surprise for my hubby as we were celebrating our 30 yr anniversary. I booked our massages 3 mons before our trip. When booking online, You get to choose the therapists you want and I chose Alyssa for one of us based on the reviews. Well, 1-2 weeks before our trip, I called Alyssa to confirm our appointment as I had sent emails with no response and I wanted to make sure all was good since I only had an email confirmation and never actually spoke with anyone on the phone. When I called, Alyssa told me that she may not be doing my massage as she had a lot going on but she assured me that she would send someone with lots of experience if she didnt show up. She asked me what kind of massage we were looking for and I told her Swedish (just more for relaxation) and she said she mostly just focuses on therapeutic massages not swedish...really?? What therapist doesnt do swedish...you have it listed on your site that you do them. I felt it was extremely unprofessional to tell me this right before our trip after I had booked 3 mons in advance ...I guess I would have never been told if I hadnt called....well, a couple of days after calling, I get an email saying that she was sending a different massage therapist. I came very close to canceling and just booking with Shoji Spa ....well, unfortunately Asheville was hit with a snow storm the weekend we were going so we ended up canceling our trip. I called Alyssa to cancel and she said she would issue me a refund and even called me back to get the last 4 digits of my cc to make sure she refunded the right person. A week went by and I never saw a refund so I called Alyssa again only to be told yea, we have a new credit card system and you booked with our old system so its not letting me credit your card....really? then why didnt you call and tell me that? I guess she thought I would forget that she owed me $280! She asked if I had paypal and I did so she ended up refunding me the $$ while I was on the phone with her....with my experience with this co, I can say that I wouldnt try booking with them again. There are too many other options in Asheville then putting up with this especially the switching of therapists after booking 3 mons in advance. Ill take my business elsewhere.

They got me in very last minute when I had a migraine while visiting. Katie was a fantastic massage therapist. She knew exactly where to press to help relieve the tension and pain in my neck, head, and jaw. She even had some time to work my hands and feet that hurt from neuropathy and arthritis. They’re located right by my Airbnb, but I lived locally, I’d visit them all the time. Maybe I’ll be moving here! There’s a parking lot if you need, and they have a little kitchen waiting area with teas and filtered water. It’s all out of a beautiful Victorian home used as offices. It’s a very calming, welcoming space, and super quiet. I like that they offer in home massages as well, especially if you’re not mobile enough to get out. There are so many massage places in Asheville, but I feel really blessed I found Massage on Wheels.

This place worked us in for a couples massage short notice while we were celebrating our honeymoon. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel comfortable and gave us exactly what we were wanting. I highly recommend a visit to them!

It was a nice experience, couples massage however my husband and I are both experiencing a lot of pain. I mean severe pain. My neck and his back feel as though we are bruised internally . Won’t mention names, but I will say make sure you specify for relaxation only. It was unfortunate that we spent money to only feel worse.

Highly recommend Nickolas for a deep tissue massage! He addressed all of the major issues with my neck and shoulders. Before the massage I could do not turn my head and afterwards I could turn my head without wincing in pain! He also gave me multiple suggestions that I can do on a daily basis to help prevent the issues I was experiencing.
