We came here for our 18 year wedding anniversary and never felt so doted on in all our lives (they even added a privacy screen up for my husband and I to feel even more like we were on a private date in the communal area, so thoughtful)!! The staff are SUPER incredible, kind, and amazing! The soaks are great but if you really wanna get the full experience, GET A MASSAGE TOO!! My husband and I both got a foot and leg massage added on and oh my goodness, I was literal putty by the time we left, I could seriously barely even walk out I was soooooo ridiculously relaxed!! They even blessed my husband and I with complimentary drinks and raspberry truffles for our anniversary!! So sweet!! I did notice it’s a quiet entry place, so to help keep the amazing vibe, be sure to whisper and be super quiet when you get there and especially during the duration of when you’re in the back soak area (also keep phones off or silenced). If we didn’t live 5 hours away, we would be back once a month!! Definitely recommend!! And thank you to the staff who made our anniversary unforgettable!!!

My husband and I went here while visiting Asheville for our 2 year anniversary. We both received the Jet Setter package. It was a fabulous experience from star to finish. Both massage therapists were excellent, supper attentive, and very professional. The entire staff were so friendly, we will be back. Thank You 😊

Had a wonderful first experience at Wake Asheville to celebrate my birthday with a friend. Very tranquil and you feel relaxed from the moment you enter the building. Lovely staff at the front desk, lovely massage therapist in the soak area. Had a glass of bubbly to round out the celebration! Perfect! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

The Wake Spa is everything it claims to be and more! They made our visit for our 20th anniversary special. The staff was kind and compassionate, and as a stay at home mom of four, the very quiet and serene environment was so nice and appreciated! The therapist, Meredith, paid attention to detail, all of the products are fantastic and no employee was pushy, making for a very relaxing and enjoyable time! The goodies in the shop are wonderful and well priced! If you have the opportunity I highly recommend a visit to The Wake Spa!

I took my daughter-in-law for a foot soak and it was wonderful.My only disappointment was that this was supposed to be a time to share with her. That means a time to talk quietly and get to know each other a little better. I do appreciate the quiet, but we were asked not to talk when one of the attendants started a massage on a customer. I have been there before (Im a local) and women were chatting loudly throughout the experience. I was ok with it. Please let customers know before they sign up that there can be no talking during a massage. Thank You!

I went to Wake in Asheville on my birthday and the best way to describe it was MAGICAL. They make you feel so comfortable and waited on from the second you walk in, everyone whispers which is super pleasing and you are so relaxed you can basically fall asleep. I take all my loved ones here and I am going to continue. Every birthday should be at Wake Foot Spa! I wish I had one by me in Florida.

Wake gives you the full queen treatment when you visit. I was on the fence about adding one of the massage services because of cost. I decided to splurge and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend adding one of the massage services on. But I would have felt equally pampered without the massage, it was so lovely! It smells delicious when you walk in, and immediately sets you at ease. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back.

The Foot Sanctuary experience is by far my favorite spa experience in Knoxville. It was the perfect amount of pampering and relaxation without feeling overwhelmed. It’s the perfect addition to lunch with the girls or the perfect gift for someone special! Truly can’t wait to go back!

I’ve had so many spa treatments in the past, but then I came across this beautiful gem in Asheville and I’ve never done a foot soak before. I would have to say it was the most relaxing experience I have ever had. I added on a foot rub as well and I fell asleep and that does not happen often! Cannot wait to return to Asheville to get another foot treatment ! The staff was so kind and welcoming! Dana did a killer job at relaxing me . It was perfect a must have experience!

A wonderful and relaxing experience! I treated my mom as a Christmas gift. We both enjoyed a soak and 20 minute massage. I chose Salty Beach Rose and she chose The Melt; both smelt amazing! After checking in, you’re given a pair of slippers to change into. You’re also offered a warm neck wrap during your soak/massage, which felt amazing! I cannot wait to come back!

Highly recommend this place to relax on your vacation or if you live in the area! I’m so sorry I forget her name but girl with blue hair was absolutely amazing with the foot and neck massage. Was so relaxed after the hour, was a puddle of goo in the chair. I love that you can have a glass of bubbly or cup of tea during treatment too.

I am just so hurt that it has bothered me all day teaching. My only daughter and only child is getting married soon. We are best friends and I am her bridesmaid. We went to have early dinner at a great local spot and then us 5 (me, her, and her other 3 bridesmaids) had an appointment last night at 6:30. On my way to her party, I blew a flat on my car. Yes had a couple shots but no where near drunk than anyone else there: I try not to cause conflict and paid my bill of 206 with a foot soak and a 20 minute massage, which I never got. They accused me of being drunk and made my night with my only daughter miserable. Told me other people acted like that and about fell after getting a foot massage. How can u accuse someone? U have a breathalyzer? Yes they refunded me my 206 dollars, but never got a massage and made my work planning this and my memories miserable. I have been here 2 times in the past. We all drove from different areas, me including almost 2 hours. I feel I can never have this memory returned and so sad. It was just a bad day for me when I was trying to make fun of crap happening to me and accused of being “wasted.” Thank you for ruining my special night with my only child after having a flat on my way to celebrate her life.

The friendliest, most welcoming staff! I felt at ease as soon as I entered. The soak, massage and pot of tea were all excellent and I couldn’t think of a better way to start my day! Also, I want to go back tomorrow :)

This was my first experience & it was a great one! Everyone was so nice & kind from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend the tea tree/mint foot soak with the add on head/neck/shoulder massage! I also indulged in a pot of hot raspberry tea with honey on the side. I will definitely be coming back!

Wake has such a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you enter the front door. The shop smells crisp and clean, and they have every type of product you could imagine to pamper yourself. It is well curated and truly a joy to wander around.When it came time for my session, Emma did a lovely job of informing me each step of the session. I chose to have a personal teapot during my soak, which tasted delicious. The iron pot and cup or a nice weight and it was the perfect amount of tea for my session. I regret not doing a truffle and a small pastry bite with it!I chose the lavender chamomile soak paired with a foot and lower leg massage. The massage was excellent, and my legs and feet were left feeling weightless and hydrated.I will definitely schedule again after this first experience, and will probably buy gift certificates for my friends and family who enjoy a nice pampering session!

This place was amazing! We went as a group for my sisters bachelorette and it was incredibly relaxing. One of our girls was late getting there due to traffic and they were incredibly accommodating. The whole experience from walking in to walking out was so relaxed and well organized. The foot soak was wonderful and the massage was very well done. I highly recommend this experience to others.

I have visited the Knox location many times. Our visit to the Asheville location was extremely disappointing. The chairs are all facing each other in this location and there is no separation or privacy. For 90.00 plus tip they rubbed our shoulders and neck for 20 min. There was no foot rub included despite me trying to clarify when we arrived. So we put our feet in the wonderful foot bath but they never rubbed our feet all. This has def been included in Knox. It is possible we signed up for a different service but I did attempt to clarify before we started.Meanwhile we were staring at strangers who also seemed irritated. Weird setup at this location with a disappointing massage. They were overbooked so we waited for a long time while soaking our feet in luke warm water. I’m not sure if the Knox location has changed but we were not happy at all with this service. We would not return.

We had a group of 5 and this was the best experience! It’s the perfect way to relax with friends or to go on your own for for relaxing! The staff were amazing and will absolutely be back!

Enjoyable experience, something different! One side note, we wish they would have a way to keep the water hotter for the entire experience; they do try and refresh with warm water a couple of times but we found it did cool off quick. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the add on shoulder neck massage was well done.

Smitten with this place. Saw it online and knew I had a make a birthday appointment for my sister and I.From the time you walk in until the time you leave its pure Bliss. Youre greeted with slippers, service, and food menu.We chose different soaks with the add on leg massage and they were both amazing. We had Kelsey and she was the best at what she does. I am on the shorter side and it was a bit hard to hang legs over the soaking tub. Had the chair been a smidge higher that would have felt better but overall super fabulous.We also ordered the pot of blackberry tea which was delicious.If I had to complain about anything its that they want you to wear your mask in between sips which is a bit much. Youre not sitting near anyone and taking it up and down is not really relaxing. That would be the only thing is change.Highly recommend booking a service!

Bought a foot soak and a 40 min massage with drinks for my mother on mother day. she never says she likes anything but she liked this place. hahai asked them to give her another drink while she was soaking, she received it.so i would recommend it for a gift.

Very nice experience to share with friends.. The foot bath was super relaxing and the massage was very nice on the neck and head. It definitely left me wanting more time and pampering, but I was a great little break away from downtown walking and hiking. We also enjoyed some realizing mint tea and you get to bring home your slippers! Very blessed out! Lots of pretty things to look at in the shop as well. I would do this again.

I really need a Wake Foot Sanctuary in Charlotte! This place was absolutely amazing and everything I didn’t know I needed. My husband and I visited while in Asheville celebrating our anniversary. The place stays booked but they were very accommodating and we were able to get a last minute reservation. The staff was very friendly and walked us through every step of the process. They have a nice selection of teas and pastries for you to enjoy during your soak. We took full advantage! The soak itself was very relaxing and they a very good with abiding by social distancing rules. I highly recommend if you’re visiting the area. This experience would also make for a great gift (expectant mother, bride, anniversary) I cannot wait to go back!

I had the absolute best experience at Wake! Alana, my masseuse/attendant, was excellent. The women at the front desk did a great job of walking me through the best options for my soak, and made recommendations based on be being pregnant. The room in which the services take place is so calm and relaxing. While there are some people there on dates, in groups, etc., the people working there did a great job at asking others to keep quiet to allow everyone to relax. When I was leaving I was given the best surprise ever by the staff! 10/10 recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind, and definitely for expectant mothers!

When I initially booked, I was looking for a pedicure. I was not disappointed though. The leg/ foot massage was amazing. Theres a heated shoulder wrap in the package I ordered. I also added a pot of tea to my appointment. It was relaxing and enjoyable and I fell asleep a few times

Was really excited for this experience, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. While the staff was extremely friendly and the ambiance was nice, the price was a bit high for what was offered. Essentially your feet are soaked for 40 mins in a cauldron of your choosing. I chose something that sounded great but to be honest I hardly smelled anything. Then I received a pleasant but weak massage for twenty minutes. I wish I would have worn more comfy clothing because I was pretty hot in my sweater and sweatpants. Overall it was an OK experience but I wouldn’t rush back.

Yup. I want to come here every week. What an amazingly affordable way to relax and unwind. From the calm atmosphere to the add on massage, what more could you ask for? Oh and in and out and under an hour so you still have plenty of time left in your day!

If you’re thinking of coming here, absolutely do it. wonderfully accommodating through the entire experience, delicious tea, friendly staff, good smells, good vibes. My best friend and I celebrated her birthday with a soak and shoulder/neck massage. Daya was our therapist and she was incredibly kind, a literal scapula whisperer, and just overall lovely human. It felt like she went above and beyond for us and made the experience just that much sweeter.

The whole experience was so peaceful and the staff was all so attentive. I got the Good Vibes foot soak and my husband got the Tea Tree foot soak, as well as massage add-ons. Karen was an incredible massage therapist, and she constantly attended to my husband and I, asking if we needed more hot water or new heated neck wraps. Overall I had a phenomenal experience and would definitely do this again.

This was such an incredible experience for my husband and I. I really loved how detail oriented the whole thing was. They allow you to pick your tea and your foot soak from a list of choices, which I loved. I also loved how intuitive the masseuse was, asking questions and really figuring out how they could help you. This is such a great date opportunity or a great place to go if you need to relax.

Wake Foot Sanctuary was AMAZING to say the very least. The staff were incredible and attentive. They added hot water a few times so that we were just sitting in cool water, they changed out the heated neck wraps once as well which was perfect! We tried the Prickled Pear tea and it was amazing and a family member also tried the Orange San Pellegrino and it was also incredibly tasty!We were celebrating a family member’s birthday and we had an amazing time. You’ll walk out feeling so relaxed and refreshed! They also gave you slippers to put on which was such a sweet touch and we got to bring them home! I don’t have pictures because my goal was to relax and detach and my goal was definitely accomplished!

What an incredible experience! My husband and I went for a date and it was so much more than expected. The entire spa is very calm. You are given slippers for entry into the spa room. There is room for 8 in the spa room if you wanted to do a party. We were the only clients for our hour. We each had a therapist who brought our foot soak tubs, neck wrap, and then did a foot/leg massage. There was also time afterwards just to soak and relax. Will return soon!

What a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. Good customer service is a rarity these days and great service is almost unheard of, but Wake Asheville went over and above to provide a fantastic evening for me and my fiance. The massages were top notch, but what really stood out was their attention to detail. First off, there were some very noisy kids on the street right outside our massage room (a factor completely out of their control). They proceeded to comp the entire bill as a result. They also sent us home with a thoughtful goody bag as a congratulations on our engagement.We were extremely impressed and would highly recommend Wake Foot Sanctuary and their services

I wish I could say that I loved this because I was really looking forward to the experience. The first issue was that the copper bowls sit a little too high on the transportable pedestal in relation to the chairs, so it was very uncomfortable on the backs of my knees. The whole experience was just a little lack luster from that point on. The room set up was a little odd with curtains separating the area from the rest of the store. I guess I just expected more. Nico the attendant was great, but the whole experience is not something I’d try again unfortunately.*Update*--The Director of Ops did reach out to gather additional information regarding my experience and make it right, which was very appreciated.

Been here a few times and it is very comfortable. Staff is kind and courteous. Love being able to sip some Prosecco while melting into the copper bowls!

This was a fantastic babymoon treat! Rose was an excellent host and gave a great foot massage. My husband even enjoyed himself and it was nice that he could just sit and relax and enjoy the soak and the neck wrap since he is not a massage/spa kind of guy. Overall great experience!

The staff was wonderful, the masseuse was out of this world, and the foot soak is indescribable. Call, make an appointment, and melt into those foot soaks. Highly recommended!!!

Oh man they were so nice! My husband and I had a great time on our honeymoon. No complaints. They were efficient with booking and communicating. Soaks are $32 for 45 minutes and massages are additional $$. I’m glad we added the foot massage because it was worth it. The woman who massaged our feet was extremely nice and friendly, she was brown/blonde and I really wish I remembered her name because she was super cool. They served us tea with the cutest little pots. So awesome. Be sure to book prior to coming so you don’t miss out. This was a great experience.

The foot soak was really really nice. Our massage therapist was so nice, gentle & extremely professional. We were able to get more hot water poured into our tub. 20 of our 45 min soak was a massage. It was quiet. Super zen. Heads up, if your husband wears a size 13, just bring your own sandals. Excellent experience.

We had a wonderful ladies day outing at the Wake Foot Spa in Asheville. I loved the big copper soaking bowls and hot tea to drink. My therapist was perfect and did a very thorough massage on my shoulders, neck legs and feet. It was heaven!

It had to be fate that led me to Wake Foot Sanctuary. Id been longing to treat my tired, achy feet to a good massage for quite a while and Wake did not disappoint. The atmosphere instantly relaxes as soon as you walk through the door and the staff are all pleasant and accommodating. One of the ingredients in the soak I chose was a type of clay that made my feet baby soft. I even got to keep the spa shoes! It was really nice to sit still for 45 minutes and really relax. I will definitely add a visit to Wake to my to-do list on my next trip to Asheville.

I loved the experience. Bethany was great. She was very attentive and we had a great conversation. The front desk staff was super friendly as well. The only drawback I could say, was the room was slightly odd how there were just big curtains to separate the soaking area.

A friend treated me to a soak, and I can’t remember the last time I was so relaxed. The staff were friendly, and the massage therapist was magical. The shop is full of treasures and the atmosphere while soaking is serene, with music that speaks to your soul. Fantastic experience and I can’t wait to go back!

Went to Wake Foot for the first time with my mom and sister-in-law for Mother’s Day gift. My mom was unable to soak due to a miscommunication on both parties. When we were checking out, Wake Foot gave my mom a gift for the miscommunication. Now, I did not give Wake Foot a 5 star review because of that. I gave them 5 stars because the overall experience was fantastic. The massage therapist my sis-in-law and I had did a fantastic job, the foot soak was calming, and everyone working in there was extremely nice. The entire experience was very calming from the time you get checked in to the time you leave. I highly recommend going whether it’s for a group of friends, mom&daughter date, or just a day date with your spouse. I will return!

My husband and I came here for the very first time today (March 1st 2020.) We were greeted by friendly front desk staff, given options for our foot soaks and options for tea if we wanted it. I got the Hit Refresh soak and my husband got the Tea Tree and Mint soak w/ a shared pot of vanilla spice tea. Laura served us today and she was lovely! She was attentive and a very sweet person. The whole experience was very relaxing and I will definitely be coming in every month!! Were locals so were glad to have Wake Foot close by! Thank you again!

There are no words to describe. I visited Asheville for the first-time last weekend with 4 of my closest friends. I picked Wake as one of our activities based on the online reviews and the concept as described on their website. I was not disappointed. The experience surpassed my expectations. The service was impeccable, and the soak and 20-minute massage were the perfect way to end our perfect weekend, especially since we did a lot of walking. Melissa and Bryan, great job!!!

I surprise my Aunt by taking her here for her birthday surprise getaway weekend. The soak and the massages where absolutely amazing. Sarah and the other massage therapist. Were wonderful and very relaxing personality. They were both very attentive to our needs. The reason i did not give wake foot sanctuary a 5 star rating is the lady at the check in desk, i did not get her name. However, she had teal hair at the time of out visit over valentines weekend. Was very rude and was not at all friendly or helpful. She just seemed to habe a bad attitude. Yes i understand everyone is short staffed and over worked. However, i would not want someone like that working my front desk.

This is a favorite for my husband and I to have a date night - so relaxing and luxurious!

Wake Foot is an incredible concept. Mom and I had a super relaxing experience and our massage therapist was wonderful. We did the 45 minute soak plus 20 minute massage and walked out of there feeling totally rejuvenated and relaxed. Mom also loves the products she bought in the shop (Lavender Honey scrub). Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

My husband and I came to Wake Foot Sanctuary today and it was incredible. We both got the jet setter package. The soak was luscious and the massage was very skilled and relaxing. The two workers that took care of us really took their time and we never felt that they were rushing. If I had anything to suggest it would be to maybe offer a plain black or green tea, I myself am not a big fan of herbal teas though I know many are. We also had some cookies as a treat that were included with the package, chocolate cherry and they were delicious. Definitely will be back next time we are in town. If you get a chance, treat your feet, it’s worth every penny.

This was an amazing experience for my wife and I during our honeymoon! So relaxing and special. They catered to us and served us the entire time. Tea and chocolates, included with the date night package, were a great touch. Everything was clean and sanitary, and the massages felt incredible. We would definitely return, and hope they open a location in the Atlanta area.

I don’t usually relax enough to feel I could fall asleep anywhere in public. But something about the soft music, lighting, warm neck wrap, body position in the chair and tub of warm water my feet were soaking in made me feel like I could almost have fallen asleep. Then came the massage. Lisa was very meticulous in how she worked each muscle and tendon. It was comfortable and relaxing and my legs felt smooth and better hydrated after the visit. The room for the treatment is not curtained off but everyone was relaxing and it didn’t disturb my feeling comfortable despite being in with others. I suggest others wear leggings or something you can comfortably push up above your knee to help. I did and was glad I had thought ahead. The only issue I had was in scheduling. You need to plan in advance. I tried scheduling twice. Both times I had to wait for a call back the next day. The first time I was told there were no appointments available for any of the days I was interested due to heavy tourism. I called back a month later and asked for an appointment 2 weeks later during a weekday and was able to book. In the long run it was worth the effort. I booked the Just Chilling package which was perfect. Thanks Lisa and everyone for your professionalism and great experience. Merry Christmas

While researching things to do when visiting Asheville for a trip my daughter and I were taking, I came across Wake Foot Sanctuary and booked us a reservation. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend when visiting Asheville. The staff is friendly and professional. Our massage therapist, Jenna, was awesome. We had the head, neck and shoulder massage with our foot soak. I had the Mint Hot Cocoa foot soak, ❤ I am still feeling relaxed and less stressed from our visit!

We had a nice time, the foot soak felt great after walking all day. But it is expensive for what you get… the massage was just ok but overall a fun vacation experience.

Had a lovely experience at Wake. I was visiting my best friend who lives in Asheville and she wanted to check out the foot sanctuary. I am a full time mom and I was totally down for some relaxation. The shop has so many nice things - I brought home whipped lavender Shea butter and a delicious smelling candle. My friend and I each got the Signature Soothe soak and a foot massage. The masseuse was very polite and friendly and the atmosphere was calming. They also offered warm neck wraps while we had our soak and massage. Id love to go back the next time I visit!

While visiting Asheville this weekend, one of my girl friends booked myself and 4 others a soak & a few massages at Wake Foot Spa. My wife and I visited Wake as part of our anniversary weekend in Asheville. We absolutely loved it, as soon as you walk in the door the experience begins with wonderful aromas and warm comfortable slippers. We chose the soothing foot soak which seemed like a good idea after hiking that morning and it was amazing how just soaking your feet in some magical mixture makes your whole body feel so good. We added on the neck and shoulder massage and I never wanted to leave. The staff are equally amazing and took such good care of us, we will definitely be back.

As a massage therapist myself, I am overly picky about business such as this (though Wake is truly unique). I have ZERO complaints. The smells, the music, the overall vibe, is welcoming the second you open the door (and what a great location). And this is before the service! I did a soak with the add on of a lower leg massage. Just looking at the soak is a feast for your eyes before dipping your feet in. The massage (by Amber) was amazing and the perfect amount of relaxation and muscle work. The added touch of the warm neck pillow and the extra hot water if you felt your water cooled to much, just added to it. Honestly the whole experience was decadent! I also would like to add that usually in environments like this I’m always worried that it will be loud and won’t allow for a true relaxation but all of the customers and the employees spoke softly and were considerate of everybody around them. I will absolutely return!

This place is one of a kind! It is so amazing to find a place that uses natural products for a spa experience. No synthetics or strong smells. It truly is a spa and meditation haven! Lisa was my therapist and was wonderful. I had the Woodland package - a 20min neck and shoulder massage and 30min foot and leg massage with a foot soak the entire time. A total 65 min package and worth every penny! The back room with chairs is a common area, so if you’re looking for a private room, this isn’t offered, but I think it was amazing nonetheless and very quiet and reflective. They served a pot of personal hot tea and had a hot neck wrap as well and kept refreshing my foot soak with hot water. I left feeling so refreshed and will absolutely be recommending this to everyone I know. I walked in to book my service the day before, and they worked me into their schedule. The front desk ladies were so so sweet. Also, they have a wonderful store with curated local healthcare products and jewelry. I can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I went over the Labor Day holiday weekend. They may have been busy, but things were quiet and relaxing during our soak. My feet felt great for the rest of the day which really helped with all of the walking around downtown we did that day and the day before.The optional massages just helped the relaxation set in that much better. Such a great place! The location is perfect in the Grove Arcade. My husband booked a birthday mini spa day for us and the staff went the extra mile to make it extra special. We did soaks and massages. I had the foot massage and arm/hand massage and both were relaxing and rejuvenating. I thought the experience was unique and approachable. I dont enjoy the typical nail salon pedicures but I love foot soaks so this was perfect for me. We also shared a pot of tea which was delicious. I felt like a new person when I left. I brought my dearest friend from New York to experience the Wake Spa for our first time. We were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in their door. Wake is amazing! I have been 4 times and it has been wonderfully relaxing every time! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a menu of wonderful combinations of salts and herbs to help you relax and rejuvenate. They also offer choices of massage, teas, and chocolates. The chairs are heavenly comfortable - you just sink into them. And the shoulder wrap is so warm and soft. The copper tubs are awesome and its so relaxing soaking in the perfectly warm water while listening to the soft music. It is definitely a treat every time! You need to try it! 💖💖💖

My friend and I visited Wake on 1/31/2014- both of us first timers. We both chose the Salty Beach Rose soak and we agreed it was DIVINE. I added a forty minute head/neck/shoulder massage, twenty minute arm/hand massage and a twenty minute leg/foot massage. My friend added head/neck/shoulder and leg/foot massages to her soak. I loved so many things about this experience...the sanctuary is very quiet, calm and peaceful, which is nice when you are trying to get away from it all. The staff were VERY attentive and super friendly and we had a great time with them. The soak was refreshed every fifteen minutes and the water remained at the perfect temperature for my entire eighty-five minute session. It was all so lovely...I highly recommend giving Wake a try. I felt extremely relaxed, rejuvenated, recharged and happy when I left. Its perfect for an afternoon alone, a girls day out or a quick pick me up on your lunch hour or after work. You will not be disappointed!!

This was an amazing experience... better than the usual massage my husband and I get for our anniversary. I had a foot soak and neck/ shoulder massage at Wake this weekend. It was a great experience! I had never gotten a professional massage before, so I was a little nervous, but the atmosphere was great and very comfortable. When you arrive, you choose from a menu of foot soaks, then have the option to add on massages (like the neck/shoulder package I chose). From there, the whole experience is thought through- everything from slippers to wear from the lobby to the soak area, to a loose leaf tea menu, to periodic water warm-ups so your feet dont get chilly! It was certainly worth every penny.

Absolutely wonderful! We stopped in as part of a girls weekend/baby shower, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The treatments are reasonably priced and expertly executed in a comfortable and soothing atmosphere. Our most wonderful boss decided to take our office out for a Spa day and previously a friend that had visited the foot sanctuary had nothing but wonderful reviews, so figure our office would give it a try. The shop has so many nice things - We all the booked The Getaway spa package, and what was so great is that you can change to whatever soak was best for you. If I had one gripe it was that the head and neck massage wasnt as long as the foot and leg, although it is a foot sanctuary. It was a great addition to a special occasion.

I found the Wake Foot Sanctuary to be only fair . . . the shop is very nice, nicely decorated, relaxing and clean. The chairs in the soaking area are very comfy and everyone is very nice. I am giving only 3 stars because I found it not worth the $$. The soaking tub is brought out on a small dolly and placed in front of your chair. I found it awkward and uncomfortable to fit my legs and soak my feet properly (I am tall 59) and there is no adjustment for this. The soak is simply hot water, essential oils, etc. definitely not worth the $$ charged. The massage was a nice touch (I had 2 massages; shoulder/neck and forearms/hands) but again, not worth the $$ charged. It is awkward for the therapist to stand behind the chair and get any amount of leverage/pressure on shoulders and neck. My therapist was just ok - she did only a fair job. I also felt there wasnt enough time to just soak and drink my tea. My tea got cold and I never got a chance to finish it. For $100 plus tip, this experience was only fair.

My husband and I were visiting Asheville for a few days and my brother & sister in law recommended Wake Foot from their visit last year. From beginning to end we were pampered! To be honest, I fully expected to not like this because I could not understand why anyone would pay for a foot soak. I was so wrong- this was amazing! Friendly staff, excellent shoulder and scalp massage (Lisa was fantastic), relaxing environment. I would absolutely go back if I were closer. BUT I found out that a Wake Foot Sanctuary is opening in Greenville!! I highly recommend checking it out!FYI this is an environment that is similar to a Spa, not a nail salon. You cannot talk loudly with your girlfriends. Low lit room, soothing music, smell of essential oils, almost completely silent.

This place was amazing! My partner booked a package for me here for my birthday and it was the most beautiful 45 minutes of respite and relaxation ever. The environment was calm and peaceful, the soak was incredible, and the massage was even better. AND the place is right around the corner from a bookstore that is *also* a champagne/wine shop. I got the salty beach rose soak (which smelled amazing) for the 20 min foot massage and then 20 min for head, neck shoulder massage, and sipped on the african caramel tea (which was so unique and tasty)! By the end of it, I definitely did not want to leave! It was absolutely amazing and felt like a getaway to a serene island with the music and aura of the room! The foot massage was life changing and I have never gotten something like that before! We were visiting for a friends birthday, but I cant wait to be back in Asheville and experience this again! This place was great! The massage was outstanding, I did expect a bit more of something since it’s such a long line to get in here but it was enjoyable.

If youre fond of pedicures, but dont want your nails done, this is the spot to go to! Had a great soak and massage done by Joyce, she checked in with me regularly to make sure I was enjoying the experience.Make sure to call ahead and book, or call the day of to see if there are any cancellations. I got lucky and was able to score a session by walking in.

This place is ahhhhhmazing! They easily accommodated our group of 7 (in town for a bachelorette) and we felt completely pampered. If youre worried a foot soak and rub (I did the foot and lower leg add-on) wont create the same sense of rest and relaxation as a traditional massage -- dont! We sipped on hot tea, wrapped up in blankets, had warming lavender neck pillows and were able to chat at our leisure while being kneaded into bliss. Their staff is exceptional and the little boutique is adorable too. Ill definitely be going back!

Foot soaks with massage add-ons are a must for any Asheville itinerary that involves hiking, so we come here every time we are in the area. The place truly lives up to its billing as a sanctuary. Great vibe, friendly desk staff, and talented massage therapists. Recommend perusing the shop, they have great bath and soak blends, soaps, etc. We never regret spending our money here.

Amazing Place!I went in hobbling from a sprained ankle I got hiking, and not only did my swelling go down but I got transported to a wonderful place of calm and relaxation- no small feat (no pun intended) with the year I have had. I will certainly return and wholeheartedly encourage you to try.

Wake is my new favorite spot in town. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful, and my foot soak was heavenly. The gift shop is super cute and very affordable with a lot of local artists. Wake is great for a girls day out, romantic date night, or a solo soak to simply celebrate you. Make an appointment- your feet will thank you!

I treated the ladies that work for me to a day out which included a foot soak & massage at Wake. The space at Wake is beautiful and everyone was so kind and accommodating from the moment we walked in the door. We loved every moment of our experience and will definitely do it again!

Simply amazing! I used to live in Asheville but moved away before Wake Foot Sanctuary opened. If it had been there when I was, I would become a regular customer! So relaxing and cozy, a perfect escape with a simple but powerful experience. I got the head/neck massage added on to my foot soak, and the massage was wonderful and so relaxing. Everyone working there was so warm and welcoming. A must do in Asheville!

The ambiance of the room along with the foot soak is very relaxing. I added on a head, neck, and shoulder massage and loved it. The employees are great about checking in with you to see if you need anything, and making you as relaxed as possible. Definitely would go back!

I could not have been more pleased with my experience. I walked in with a couple of girlfriends totally not knowing what Wake offered, just that it was super cute and smelled amazing. The ladies took such good care of usNot to mention they did everything they could to squeeze all of us in! Even though they couldnt fit a late comer, they still allowed her to sit in the back with us, gave her a lavender pillow and tea. Wake- please come to Charleston!

What a treat! Very reasonable pricing for a fantastic spa experience. They take good care of you here and you will leave feeling very pampered! I love how you can order teas to sip on while you are having your foot soak. Great place to go if you need a little R & R or a little pick-me-up.

I was referred to Wake by a client, and now that I have been I have been telling EVERYONE to go!!! It was truly a remarkable and relaxing experience. I felt like a rejuvenated walking zombie after the soak and neck/shoulder massage. I booked my second visit while checking out of my first! LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

Kelly was so genuine and sweet, she really helped me feel at home and relaxed. This was the perfect gift for a pregnant woman, the packages really helped release a lot of tension while also feeling pampered. Everyone there was really nice, plus the whole place us very calming energy.

My husband and I dropped into Wake during an Asheville getaway a few weeks ago and it was... well, heavenly. We melted into the soft couches and drank tea with hot wraps around our necks while our feet soaked in luxuriously hot water with all kinds of delicious smelling oils.My favorite part was the constant hot water refreshes; they always came at just the right time and kept the water at a perfect temperature. We could have easily stayed for another hour or two. The only drawbacks for us were that we felt the music was a little too loud and not everyone respected the request to talk quietly. Youre all in one room, so a couple of bad eggs can really dampen the experience.Well be back, Wake!

I made my appointment way in advance, was not told of specials not on the menu. Also I did a add on of shoulder and neck massage, felt I had to lean forward for my neck massage very uncomfortable. The chairs are big and deep even with two pillows for a short person I felt as if I were laying in the chair. After a six hour drive and the Biltmore tour this was not relaxing for me. You should tell your guest about ALL that is offered,did not notice the special posted at the desk until check out. All they do is soak your feet without a add on, so next time I take my feet to a sanctuary they will get a massage also. Ask about specials or packages before you book because what you book is all you get.

I cannot speak more highly of Wake: The Foot Sanctuary. From the moment my friend and I stepped in to their beautiful lobby and shop, we knew that we were in for a treat. We chose our soaks, put on our slippers, and headed in. The cozy chairs, pillows, and blankets make you feel as if you are in the comfort of a beautiful home. The hot tea was magnificent and plenty to share, and the soak was just long enough to relax us. She came back several times to check on us and warm the water in our soak. The experience was such a treat and I will be back as soon as time allows.

Ultimate relaxation! I went with a coworker and we really enjoyed our experience. The soak was great, and the massage was even greater! I chose the head, neck, and shoulders and I think that was the right choice because my whole body felt pampered.

What a special treat. Everything about this place was great! Friendly staff, cleanliness, and a place where I was able to go and relax and meditate as they took away some of my ailments that have been brought on by treatments for breast cancer. I will certainly be coming back, maybe even with my husband!!!

We have been twice and both times felt great afterwards our only complaint was small and upon the response from the business I have upgraded my review to 5 stars from 4!Both times we have visited we have left with our feet willing refreshed and ready to walk the streets of Asheville.👍🏼The men shouldnt be unmanly to visit while visiting for me wearing boots all the time your feet get worn. This is a welcome relief.

Highly recommend. I planned a visit as part of a bachelorette party. Greeted by friendly staff upon arrival and if you wore your cute skinny jeans, dont worry, they will give you a wrap-around skirt to change into so you can enjoy your soak. The soak room accommodated six girls and had room for more. We were seated in comfy chairs and offered tea to purchase. Or you can bring your own white wine and they uncork and serve it to you. I ordered a pot of lavender tea - it was delicious and added to the experiance. Then large, clean, brass coated pots were wheeled out full of bubbly, aromatic, warm water for soaking tired feet. Some girls opted for a massage and others did not. I got an upper body massage and it was relaxing. No complaints here -- will go again.

Gorgeous women with gorgeous smiles and gorgeous attitudes!! The service was even better so to paint a picture.......Being from out of town, I unknowingly scheduled an appointment at the Knoxville location. When I entered the Asheville, NC location the receptionist searched for my appointment high and low. By looking through my call log I realized my mistake. The receptionist somehow made a way for my wife and me to still enjoy my honeymoon and kept me out of the dog house. I would love to see this location downtown Atlanta in the Midtown or Buckhead area. I can see it thriving here.

Came here for a soak and massage! Was very nice and relaxing. My husband and I did them at the same time. Only thing is that I wished there were two people working on us, instead of one taking turns. But it was very relaxing regardless and the masseuse was very nice and professional!

From the moment I walked in the door I felt completely relaxed. The entire staff was friendly and great to be around. The HotCopper tub baths are awesome and the tea with honey and sugar were great. Loved loved loved my experience and will definitely be back.

As an unexpected gift from my sweet co-worker, I was blessed to attend an evening at Wake in Asheville. Transformative is not too strong of a word, as I was able to be totally removed from the stressors of daily life, once I entered the spa. At the end of my session, I was literally in tears, as anxieties were lifted from my mind, and perspective was regained. From Michelle, my massage therapist, to the front desk staff who helped me choose special gifts for loved ones, I could not have been treated any more lovingly. Wake is exactly what it claims to be - a sanctuary! A novel idea and accomplished what we set out to do. This turned out to be a great birthday gift. The foot soak is incredibly relaxing and they offer a variety of flavors. The massage was equally relaxing and the soothing music and tea was the icing on top of the experience.

My foot soak in March for my birthday was excellent, and the 20 min foot massage after hiking the day before felt Amazing!!! I am so excited for my foot soak coming up on Saturday.

Seriously, take the time to visit WAKE. Perfect for date night, ladies night, or a special night out alone! The space is beautiful and the shop has a great selection of reasonably priced candles, bobbles and what-nots. I think this is be my new place to shop for little gifts. The soaking room is as pleasant as can be. The soak itself is as close to perfection as it gets. I added a shoulder massage and it was relaxing. Loved that you could experience this with a friend or with yourself. So much easier than getting a total massage but every bit as relaxing. THANK YOU FOR COMING TO ASHEVILLE WAKE!
