This was the absolute best massage I have ever had!! The spa was beautiful and John Valentine was amazing! My husband and I got the garden oasis couples massage and we both highly enjoyed them and can’t wait to book our next one. He had Cedar and said she did an awesome job as well. Highly recommend this place.

I had a fantastic massage by John! He is clearly a professional in his work. His whole demeanor was so calming and I felt taken care of the moment I stepped in. I had the intuitive 90 minute massage- 90 minutes went by too fast- I can’t wait to come back! Thank you John!!!Broderick at the front desk was so welcoming and wonderful to talk to. When I asked about watering the hundreds of plants in the space, he proudly told me he takes care of all of them! Make sure to check them out and give him a well deserved compliment!

The atmosphere and therapists were amazing. Top notch experience. From the moment you walk into the door, you are greeted by wonderful staff and a truly zen environment. The experience in and of itself was well worth the 7 hour drive to Asheville and more than made up for our cancelled concert. I love Asheville and Urban Exhale will definitely be an added stop to my future trips here. I cannot recommend them enough.

Super friendly front of house staff. Broderick was really sweet and helpful and my massage therapist Corrine was amazing! She was thorough and asked good questions about what I liked and what I needed. I was very comfy and relaxed for the whole massage. Sydney was my therapist and she was excellent - listened to my goals for the session and suggesting certain techniques and stretches to help accomplish them. Daniel gave the most professional, warm, intuitive and transformative massage I’ve ever experienced—and I’ve been receiving massage for over 15 years for chronic pain stemming from arthritis and scoliosis. Just had the most relaxing couples massage! Jamie and Sarah were both INCREDIBLE massage therapists. The entire atmosphere was calming and the warm welcome from Broderick started everything off perfectly. Special shout out to Broderick’s plant skills, the plants are immaculate.

He is clearly a skilled and intuitive therapist. It was a wonderful session. I would happily return and rebook with him upon my next visit to Asheville.

First massage my husband and I have ever done and we couldn’t be more happy. This experience was beyond magical!! As soon as we walked in Broderick welcomed us right in. We had Corrine and Kari as our therapists and they were outstanding. The Garden room had such relaxing vibes and the aroma was delightful. We cannot recommend Urban Exhale enough. Worth more than 5 stars for sure!!

Wow! Had an amazing massage today with Corrine (i did not request her but i will going forward). I think I had the Garden Massage the amazing sound of water incredible smell of hand selected essential oils, Hot towels, and Hot stones. WOW! This place is incredible. The space itself is a sheer delight! Friendly competent and efficient front desk staff. We enjoyed a couples massage with Kristen and Faith. Faiths skills showed through as her touch was informed, skillful and relaxing. My partner really enjoyed his massage with Kristen as well. We had a quiet and peaceful retreat that we were so in need of after the all the stress of throwing a big fall wedding. I felt like I was levitating at the end of the massage. The water feature really helps to soothe and calm the overactive mind. Cant wait to come back and visit again!

Wow. Blown away by Urban Exhale! I got my first massage here yesterday and they had same day availability. My massage therapist, Shannon, was so intuitive and delivered incredibly firm pressure which is what Im always looking for. The space was beautiful; from the high ceilings to the array of plants. I needed to peel myself away from the gift shop area because I wanted to purchase everything. 10/10 will be back!

In from Louisville for a girls trip and found this gem of a spa! The space was tranquil and welcoming as well as unique! The colors, the decor, and the gift shop were perfect.The staff was welcoming and professional. My massage therapist was Dan and he was amazing! The room was relaxing and comfortable. Outside & inside, the atmosphere was wonderful and welcoming, as were the staff. I got an Integrative Massage with Sebastian, and he was amazing. He personalized it to my current issues, stresses, and what I was willing to soak up and learn at that time. He was very communicative and knowledgeable about Chinese Medicine, and integrated that into my massage by teaching me the basics (with my consent) as he went along with each motion in my massage. He made recommendations for natural aids such as epsom salt baths and/or magnesium chloride based on my muscle tension/mobility, and his personal experience. He also went as far as to teach me some Tai Chi stretches after my massage to assist in relaxation and further mobility and relief. I was so grateful for this experience, and appreciated this much needed massage! I highly recommend Sebastian and Urban Exhale as a whole.**Please note that he is not an MD, but he was extremely knowledgable and well versed in each item he spoke with me about. He made sure to let me know that he was not an MD, and that he studies Chinese Medicine on his own time.**

I woke up with pain in my right hand and my thumb twitching involuntarily. It was really affecting my work and my ability to grip things. I called Urban Exchange on my lunch break to see if they had an opening and spoke to Darren, who seemed genuinely concerned about my condition and worked to make sure I could come in as soon as possible, promising he had the perfect therapist for me. He was so right! When I arrived the place was breathtakingly beautiful. AJ met me at the front and was so kind, she immediately had an idea about the source of my pain and used her expertise to pinpoint exactly what the root of the problem was. After the session was over she gave me exercises to do at home to prevent it from happening again. I woke up the next morning and the pain was gone, I had full range of motion in my hand and thumb again. I was able to play guitar at a big show I had been looking forward to with no problems! I cannot sing their praises enough, the whole experience was so wonderful! I’ll definitely be going back to them again and recommend them to everyone I know!

My entire experience was excellent. I felt welcomed when I entered, and the atmosphere was relaxing and tranquil.I went for a 90-minute integrative massage. The massage room was absolutely relaxing, especially with the waterfall, which enhanced the experience. Sydney was very attentive, kind, and communicated well with me about what I wanted from the massage. She made me comfortable and relaxed while also paying close attention to areas I felt most tension.The 90 minutes seemed to pass in no time, and afterward, I felt relaxed, rejuvenated, and energized. Sydney even checked in with me after the massage to see how I felt and what worked for me. I felt so much better, not just physically but mentally as well. The day after, I still feel really good. Sydney did a wonderful job. I very much would go back again the next time Im in town.

Place blends well with the rest of the town ambience. Masseuses are nice with some technique. Pretty pricey and a first for us: did not honor the full hour despite us adding extra services ( at fee).Rarely post a review but I think healthy review could only profit the institution.

Yesterday, I had a massage with AJ. As a massage therapist myself, that was legit the best massage I’ve ever had. He was so detailed & thorough! I’ve had massages as far as Arizona to Chicago (@ the trump), none hold a candle to AJ. He’s definitely in his element. I didn’t tell him I was a therapist until after then it was like we were immediately, long lost friends. After my session, I called & asked for another! A real gem in Asheville! This place is absolutely fabulous! A five-star rating doesnt even do them Justice. From the beautiful decor and the largest massage rooms Ive ever seen, to the warm and friendly people working there.We were in Asheville for a weekend and we got in a car accident on our way there. Having issues with my back before the accident, I figured a massage might not be a bad thing. I had Sebastian for my one hour massage. I wish I could have gone longer. He was so attentive and I had an extraordinary experience. I asked for a lot of pressure and it was painful at time to get all the knots worked out. The next day my back and neck felt so much better! Headaches - gone! Back pain - gone and my body felt so relaxed that i was even able to go back to the gym without any issues. I wish I lived closer to this place.

Exceeded expectations! As soon as you enter the reception/lounge area, you feel an instant sense of calm while you’re welcomed in. Arrive early so you can relax and take in the warm oasis of the decor and begin your relaxation journey. My massage therapist, Banks, was attentive and his skills are top tier. He addressed my areas of concern with techniques I have never experienced and I felt like everything he did had a purpose and there were no unnecessary strokes. His work on my TFL and rotator cuff were my favorites. Great experience!!

Last weekend, I had the absolute joy of receiving body work from Banks. First, the spa is absolutely gorgeous - so tranquil. It really felt like walking into paradise! The staff was incredibly accommodating a service request I had, which made me so appreciative and brought a lot of calm to my treatment. Banks was amazing!! His whole vibe just exuded peace. He really listened to my pain points and checked in often to ensure I was comfortable and having the best experience. At one point, he calmly, quietly told me some reassuring words, and it brought me to tears. I felt like my body and my spirit both had been cared for. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I promise you will not be disappointed!!

My husband and I had the oasis couples massage. AJ Watson and Kari were our therapists and neither one of us had any complaints, and said it was one of the best massages we have had. The space was beautiful, inviting, and relaxing. We will definitely visit again when in Asheville.

I booked 3 90 minute massages a week in advance. We arrived early for our massages. Two of us received 90 minute massages and the third received a 60 minute massage. They said, they were giving us a discount. When in reality, they charged us for a 60 minute massage. The masseuse didn’t offer to finish the massage, nor did they offer a discount, we had to ask for one. Massages were nice. I’m generally dissatisfied with their level of professionalism.

Im not one who typically cares how nice or upscale a location is; Im all about the massage. But Urban Exhale is exceptional on both counts.The interior is gorgeous but not in an exclusionary way; the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Theres no too cool for you vibe that I sometimes get in really nice places.Cedar is as good a therapist as Ive ever worked with. She gets to all my problem areas intuitively. And as much as I need deep tissue work, oftentimes in the past I could be a little sore at the end of a session with others. But after Cedar does her work I feel great...no deep tissue hangover like I am used to. I feel ready to do anything after the session.Top notch place--the kind of place you feel good about spending your time and money with.

My best friend & I visited Urban Exhale for a belated Mothers Day massage as a gift to ourselves. Kimberly worked with her and Cassidy worked with me. The vibes from the moment you walk in are calm and serene. The atmosphere is perfect for a peaceful massage or treatment of any kind. We both had different problem areas that we asked them to work on during our hour long massage. Both ladies were very intentional in addressing those problem areas with the best techniques that left us both feeling relaxed and pain-free. We also both had hot stone add-ons to our service, which was the cherry on top. Everyone was so professional and knowledgeable, including Branston at the front desk. (I hope I remembered that correctly). We felt right at home and would recommend Urban Exhale to anyone and everyone in the Asheville and surrounding areas.

Came here with my partner for the integrative couples massage and it was a fantastic experience! The space is beautifully decorated and feels like a tropical oasis upon entry. It is wide open and spacious, plants and orchids everywhere, Sophia at the front desk is super friendly, and the massage room itself is lovely and relaxing. I have had two massages with Micah so far, and each time it has been both therapeutic and balancing. He has the hands, strength, detail and flow of a pro and his calm presence is soothing to the soul. As a seasoned chiropractor who is well-versed on quality massages, I can tell you that you will be VERY pleased with the results! He specializes in longer massages (2-3 hours long) but does regular one hour massages too.I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Our massage therapists, Faith and Kimberly, requested our preferred pressures, asked if there were any zones we wanted to focus on, and proceeded to provide a great massage. After the massage, they shared what they noticed about our respective muscles and tight spots and even gave suggestions for follow ups either with them or elsewhere to tackle some items if we wanted to do so - to clarify, it was helpful suggestions and not up-selling tactics. The studio they used was surprisingly spacious and seemed very luxurious. Ambiance was pleasant and relaxing. The whole experience left a great impression on us and we will definitely be back in the future! Last but not least, we found the price very reasonable.Highly recommend!

Highly skilled. I have never actually had a massage that fixed my shoulder issue. Never. BUT these guys did. I am amazed. A day later, it still is fixed. My masseuse asked me to do some breathing techniques while she did an underarm massage that fixed it. I just assumed she would have cranked down on the knots and that would have been the extent but she really knew what to do. Very highly skilled. I wish they were in Charlotte where I live. Thx!

She was exceedingly receptive to my concerns, while being intuitive about my bodys needs for the session in terms of pressure distribution, speed, and consistency. She also integrated table Thai massage, as well as stretching / range of motion modalities, which was absolutely lovely. 100% recommend!!

First time at Urban Exhale, I booked a prenatal massage which was absolutely wonderful. They had a pillow perfect for my bump. The masseuse worked on all my problem areas and I left feeling very refreshed. My reason for knocking off a star was due to the bright lighting and noise from the gift shop. I think the room needed a bit more shade plus guests in the gift shop were talking full volume so not super easy to drown out the noise. Fortunately the noise only lasted part of the massage however I want to feel in total relaxation mode when getting a massage and I think some small changes could enhance that experience.

Arash is an amazing therapist with very good communication skills and a high level of professionalism that not only helped to absolve my pain but also gave me a better understanding of bodywork in general. This place is world class!

I booked an appointment online that I thought was going to be at my hotel but I was confused and it was at their brick and mortar location instead. This turned out to be a great mistake on my part. The hotel massage area was less than desirable and when I finally made it to their location, it was exactly what I was expecting of a spa like this. When I finally arrived late, I assumed my clock was already ticking on my allotted massage time but they were very accommodating and worked it out for me. David gave me a wonderful massage and helped me relax after my struggle. Will definitely go back.

Exactly what I needed! I had Kim and her hands were the softest thing Ive ever felt, felt incredible. She was absolutely phenomenal, and the Jade Orchid Room was well worth the experience. I feel great today and looking forward to going back. This place deserves nothing but 5 stars.

My wife and I came here for a couples Jade Orchid massage yesterday with Sarah and Julie. The space is incredible and both of our massages were first class. The atmosphere is comparable to a 5 star resort. Ive had a few treatments here and each one has been excellent.
