Came here desperate bc my curly hair had a chemical burn from another place and needed a new haircut and treatment to revive it. At first I wanted a keratin/botox hair straightening but after speaking to amazing curly specialist Rodrigo, he changed my mind and my life forever! I love him and I’ll be coming back here from now on only! It’s very hard to find a good curly hairdresser and Rodrigo was perfect! I went out after and got so many compliments that I had to share his information! Also, I’ve been coming here for laser hair removal with Claudia for the longest time and she’s the best human ever! This place always have top notch professionals every time I come here, I’m super happy! Thank you Natura Spa!

I went today with my mother and it was an amazing experience, the atmosphere and the work, everything was perfect. Everyone was very welcoming. We did Facial with Rosa and Evelyn both of them did a great job. We did balayage as well with Rouse and Rodrigo who gave us the best look ever. Thank you.

Went in for red all over color with pink money pieces, and a blow dry. Paid $350. They took a $50 deposit for the highlights. I had to come back another day because they didn’t happen to have the dye for the red that I wanted. When I came back, Rose did an excellent job. Very meticulous but speedy, was only there for about 3 hours. The color came out exactly how I wanted. Salon was very clean and front desk was very friendly, they have an espresso machine so they made me a nice cappuccino. About a month out now and my color is still looking bright and nice. Would recommend for people wanting a specific/tricky color and who don’t want to spend a long time somewhere. Other people I’ve spoken to said they like coming here for blowouts.

I have have been going to Mike at Natura Spa for a couple years now and I know I’ll get a great cut every time! I have very fine hair and I like to keep it short, so it’s always been difficult to find someone who knows how to properly cut and style my hair. Mike really takes a lot of care with his work and I trust his expertise. The spa overall is super clean, comfortable, and the staff is friendly. I definitely recommend!

Godoy did a great job, ask for him for your haircut! He fixed a bad haircut I got at a different salon and literally saved my hair.They offered food and coffee while I waited, the luxury vibe really sets this place apart from a regular salon. Highly recommend!

If you want the best massage you have to go to Beatrix at Natura! I had so much pain down my arms and couldn’t put any weight on my wrist for over a year. I now have had zero pain for almost a year now because of her massages and tips for what to do to maintain it. I see her every few months for maintenance and it’s been incredible. She goes above and beyond. I suggest her to everyone!

Divya is amazing. She does a wonderful job on my hair every time and beautiful eyebrows. I go to her for haircut, highlights and hairstyle and eyebrows and I don’t know what I would do without her! She is so kind and pleasant as well. The salon is very professional and clean and aesthetic. It’s my go to salon for all my beauty and spa needs. I also like the brazilian waxing with Tanmy. The owner is also nice and takes care of the customers. All the staff is amazing and does a great job. This salon is the best I’ve been to in New York City. Mike has been my go-to stylist for quite some time and I continue to be impressed by his talent, professionalism and attention to detail. I always leave the salon looking amazing and highly recommend Mike to anyone, but especially those looking for a perfect balyage!

I don’t think I have EVER left a bad review in my life. But today I experienced a lack of professionalism at this salon, such a shame considering how loyal of a client I have been. Lately I’d been feeling like my hair was yellow (when Elaine put gloss in my hair 3 different times and the color was still terrible) I came to fix it with Rodrigo. Rodrigo did do a good job getting the yellow out, and we decided to leave some highlights for dimension. But it was still yellow, and I came back today to try and correct my hair (even if it meant going dark). I went in and the owner explained some things to me which I appreciated and then directed me to take a seat until I could speak to Rodrigo. I waited for about an hour (no problem because I did walk in) and Rodrigo saw me sitting there and then continued to take his next client after I waited an hour. He had a fully booked schedule, so why did the owner tell me to wait? Why didn’t she inform me that he had a busy day and had no time for me? I wouldn’t have minded coming back but she wasted an hour of my time. Then Rodrigo, who I was nothing but nice with, proceeded to say “I don’t even know why you were waiting there.” Why didn’t anyone say anything????? I was told he would take my question and I had no problem waiting on him. I even told him to take his time. I don’t understand why then nobody told me that he has no time to speak. I really wouldn’t have minded coming back, but I was under the impression that Rodrigo was nearly finished and would take my question right after. The lack of professionalism and communication on the owner and Rodrigo’s end is why I will not be returning. And I think they have cheap dye the way my hair has been yellow for months. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Absolutely amazing experience. I moved to San Diego and went to a salon there where they butchered my hair. After two tried and no luck in San Diego. I decided to fly back to NYC to get it fixed.I have been getting my hair done at natura spa for years before moving to San Diego. And so I can back to what I know and I am thrilled I did!The upper east side location is stunning with great vibes and amazing professional. The best of the best!Fernando was my hairstylist. I’ve had several massages by Dolores, and am never disappointed. In fact, she is very intuitive, and I almost feel as if she knows what my body needs as soon as the session starts. She is also incredibly knowledgeable, and can answer any questions I come up with.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to after the experience I had this weekend.Saturday I had a facial at the Queens location with Evelyn and instantly felt in love. Her skills are amazing and better than that is that she makes sure you leave the room happy about your skin. One day after, I went back to their new location in the city to have another facial with her. And I’m glad to say that one more time she surprised me and made sure I left the room happy!

Please take it from me as someone who lived in Astoria for 7 years and got my hair done multiple places - this is the best hair salon in Astoria and Mike is the best hairdresser Ive ever had! I just moved out of Astoria and will miss him dearly. I followed him to Natura Spa a few years ago from a different salon he used to work at, and Natura Spa is really a step above the rest. Its gorgeous, clean, and everyone who works here is extremely professional and kind. Ive recommended multiple friends to Mike, brought my sisters in to get our hair done together before my engagement party, and taken my hair from platinum blonde balayage to dark dark brown with Mike. His talent is well-rounded and Im convinced he can do anything.

Wow! Part of me doesn’t want to leave a great review or I will no longer be able to book again if it gets too popular.I’ve been looking for this type of place for years. Modern, silk, minimalist and clean!I had a 1hr massage with Evelyn who was exceptional. Not only the massage was amazing but the room had great music scents and comfortable table- peaceful energy . I came out recentered, relaxed, all the stress and frustration gone. On top of that the welcoming staff and front desk are awesome. Great you with coffee or drinks if needed!

I’ve had a facial with Dolores today and I am beyond happy and satisfied with my facial! Dolores very patient and informative! She walked me through everything and took her time in explaining everything! This is by far the best facial I’ve had in the city and that’s because of her service!I highly recommend it here.

Unfortunately the worst haircut I’ve ever had. I have a long curly hair and I wanted to make some layers.First of all I made an appointment with a different person a few days before (online), and they contacted me 2 hours before my appointment to let me know that a guy doesn’t work that day and someone else will do my hair. I agreed because I needed to do my hair that day. When I arrived a woman in the front told me that the guy whose name was Charlis will take me and that he is amazing and he is a specialist for layers. The guy didn’t know English at all! I didn’t agree that someone who doesn’t understand language can do a delicate job like this-taking care of someone’s appearance. That woman translated all conversations between us. I told her that I want a layers long enough that I can scoop my hair in bun, I didn’t want nothing shorter. She said thats fine, blah, blah. Short story, the guy did terrible. He made me bangs on the side. Bangs on a curly hair??? I look like an old lady from sixties. Ugh.I have “layers” only in the front. I really don’t like my hair and now and in next few months I can hold my hair only in a bun with a lot of hairpins. It’s not about how we style curls. That is the easiest part of curly hair. Salon is also so expensive. 130$ for nothing plus tip! I will never go back again. Don’t recommend!!!!

Mike is the best! I get my hair done with him (haircuts, highlights, blowouts) and will never go anywhere else! Mike is absolutely amazing, an extremely talented hair stylist and a wonderful person. I have fine blonde hair and have been doing highlights for 20 years, and it’s really difficult to find a stylist who makes my hair look great but at the same keeps it healthy! Really good experience here, aside from being overcharged without them telling us.My mom, sister and I went for facials and hot stone massages. The customer service is immaculate - they even gave my sister a gift for her birthday, on the house! They even have an entire spread of breakfast foods and whatever drink you could imagine.Only downside was that they overcharged my mom’s card a couple weeks later (about $100 on top of a $350-ish bill we paid plus a tip) and we’re still not exactly sure why. My mom had called though and they quickly refunded her most of it. All in all, a very good spa experience and friendly staff.

I came to get a haircut. Godoy was very careful and attentive with how I wanted my hair to end up like. The service was fast. Didn’t have to wait. As soon as I got there, there was someone waiting for me. I would highly recommend if you want a high quality male haircut.

My hairstylist Mike always does a great job with my hair! The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the place is well decorated and very clean. On Saturdays they do a fun brunch too where they hand out mimosas or coffee, so be sure to stop by then!

Highlights by Godoy are exactly what I wanted. Not brassy which is tough with hair as dark as mine but it looks fabulous. The salon is also impeccable and the owner is lovely and very accommodating.

Second time at the spa. Facial was great but the checkout process was extremely shady and frustrating. At the time of making the appt I was charged a deposit.. yet at the moment of checkout I mentioned this to the cashier Lali who dismissed me and had an attitude. She went ahead and charged me for the full service again and when I showed her the posted transaction on my credit card she conveniently said the manager Wendy was unavailable and she was unreachable (didn’t even try to call her in front of me). She conveniently also claimed to not be able to process a refund. Made it seem like I was in the wrong and that I need to call back another time to sort this. I shouldn’t have to take time out of my day to chase down a business for my money. Beware of double charges!!!

Did a root touch up with Julian.After sitting with color for 25min he told me he aplied wrong developer so he needs to wash it off and put something else on. He replied my roots at the sink sloppy for about 8 min and I walked out with hot roots. Photo bellow :/Ive also done lashes there several months ago and they fell off 3 days later. My experience at this salon was pretty bad both times. Salon is stunning I wish the quality of work they provide was better.

They are punch os scammer.So My wife went to get her hair done, they requested a deposit for $100, she went to the appointment, the guy told her it will be total of 290.Once she done, they charged her another 300, so total we pay is 400. We called them the next day, to explain the situation, Wendy answered, and said will talk to the owner. Nothing happen.I called them, and talk with Wendy again, nothing happen.Beside that, my wife scalp full of pimples, not sure what product they used.I am sure all the stars they got, are paid. But stay away from them, they are punch of thieves. We called our credit card and got our money back.I wish thier is an option for zero star.

I went to get a cut today and I am so disappointed. The cutting was so bad I did not like it. They need to get people who know how to cut hair got the worst cutting do not recommend.

A biiiiit pricy but Dolores was amazing for a facial and what she does and her explanations of everything and was very sweet and will be back for a massage from her soon!

I got a deep pore cleansing facial with Rosa and she was amazing! Rosa did a great job with doing the extractions and exfoliating. She takes her time. Overall experience was amazing and relaxing! I will definitely be one of her regular customers.

Charlis exceeded my expectations!! I came in wanting a 90s layered hair cut and left with the perfect Rachel cut. Going for a drastic hair change can be very scary. I never trust anyone to cut my hair but I was delighted by Charliss hair knowledge, patience and positive attitude. He thoroughly explained everything he was doing and why, which, brought me a lot of comfort. Will definitely be returning for his services!

I went to Natura Spa to get hair Botox treatment. ANDRE was very professional and knowledgeable about the product. I liked his work so I decided to get a hair cut as well. I haven’t washed my hair yet to see the final result but my hair feels softer and looks good so far. I also got my eyebrows done (thread) and the lady did a very nice job. I personally don’t mind paying higher prices if the quality service and products are worthy.

I love coming to Natura Spa, I have been doing my hair with Rodrigo, he is the best, he knows what my hair needs, and will always be honest about any treatment or procedure you want to do, if you hair can handle it.Today I went there for the first time, and I gotta say that I love it. I did the Olaplex treatment, my hair feels so smooth. The service was excellent and they are taking many precautions because of Covid, they cover your shoes and purse and take your temperature before sitting down. Can’t wait to go back.

I was so skeptical about dying my hair for the first time but after seeing the wonderful job JULIAN did with some of my friends i decided to go ahead with it and now im so pleased and amazed by the results. Thank you so much JULIAN!!

Upon arriving, I realized there was confusion with the stylist of which service I booked. I expressed confusion several times to which I was ignored so I received a wash and blow dry instead of wash/cut/blowdry. After a couple of questions at reception when paying, the receptionist apologized and offered a free haircut for the confusion. I showed a picture to the stylist since he said he did not speak a lot of English to avoid any possible confusion. He essentially cut me bangs, not feathering the cut so it blended into face framing. I was then charged for the cut which amounted to the full charge of a wash/cut/blowdry. I do not believe that experience was worth $90 and Im disappointed with my haircut and lack of compensation

Rosa is the best! She leaves my skin glowing every time with her facials! She’s so patient and caring to my skins needs and has a wonderful soul!

I had one great experience ( which was a man) and one awful experience, the women who blew my hair out was horrible. I showed multiple photos of what I wanted and she used a straightening iron before a curling iron making my hair super flat. She also hit my head with the iron multiple times and made me say ow because it was so hot on my head. I told the manager and she said I could get my hair redone but I left. Would have preferred my money back or a free blow out next time

Ive been to Natura Spa only a handful of times, but each time, the people with whom Ive met always left me feeling amazing.Two people in particular deserve all of the praise: Zara, for being possibly the best masseuse Ive ever had, and Mike, for the gorgeous hairstyle he gave me for a friends wedding. These two individuals are absolutely amazing and lovely to work with, and Id honestly recommend Natura just because of them.

Massage with Beatrix - would give 10 stars if I could.A few months ago I had a massage with Beatrix which was one of the best massages Ive had in my life. I used to work in a spa at the front desk, and would get monthly massages and have had my fair share good and not so good massages. As soon as Beatrix began working on me her skill level was evident.As a stressed out full time nurse and part time graduate nursing student I came down with a migraine over the weekend, and knew I needed to book a massage with her again. She took a minute to first have a consult with me about my ailments, and we decided to spend the 60 minutes focusing on my problem areas rather than doing a full body massage. She expertly worked to relieve the built up tension and stress in my upper back, shoulders, neck, and head. She is professional, strong, caring, and knowledgeable, and thanks to her I left feeling 90% better than I had felt the day before. I will make it a point to book more frequent massages with her to prevent migraines becoming a regular occurrence for me!As for the rest of Natura Spa, it is beautifully kept, extremely clean, the staff was all very polite and professional, and the massage space downstairs is quiet and relaxing. I have not had any other services performed here, though I would be inclined to book after my experience.Thank you thank you thank you Beatrix & Natura Spa!

There are massages and then there are MASSAGES. Beatrix is a tactician. Her knowledge of the body is amazing and she really works with each individual to assess their particular needs for each session. If you are in dire need of a sports massage (or just need a little R & R) you simply MUST book with her.

I got a haircut and I’m very happy with the cut I got and my stylist. What I’m unhappy with is the fact that they asked if I wanted my hair dried to which I said yes. I was unaware that blow drying after a haircut was not included with the haircut and was not told that when they asked if I wanted my hair blow dried. It felt very manipulative. What I thought was going to be a $50-60 haircut ended up being $115. It was $50 extra dollars to blow dry my hair. I know NYC is different than other places but I am from WNY and blow drying comes with a haircut or is another $10-20. I can understand charging $50 if someone strictly comes in for a blow out but that’s not why I was there. I just wish my stylist was up front about it and told me that it would be that much extra because I was not expecting a $115 haircut.That being said, I’ve gone to Natura spa for many different services and have had great results. Now I know not to agree to a blowout when you get your haircut as it will cost you $50.

I went to get highlights yesterday and I didn’t know a single thing about the process. I won’t go into too many details, but I was also having a really bad day and the staff somehow picked up on it. The stylist (Thiago) was really kind tooOh, and the highlights came out wonderful. The whole experience really helped lift up my mood and I’m glad I went to get it done. I made an appointment last minute for a blow dry due to a past minute social engagement. The reviews online were good and I decide to schedule an online appointment. As asked by the business, I was there 5 minutes before. I proceeded to the reception area and identified myself. I was asked to have a sit as the stylist was finishing another client. The stylist not only finished the client but decided to take a break maybe because the reception said she didn’t have anyone there. Upon waiting for 20 minutes and in order not to be late to my engagement I politely went to the receptionist and canceled my appointment. I there reasoning know “my stylist” was free is because there was a picture of her on the website I used to make the appointment. As the Dote tie of Operations foe 7 successful urgent cares, I know clients want their time to be respectful as so does the business. Unfortunately, that’s not the mentality at Natura SPA if you are a busy professional and your time is precious, I highly recommend you to think twice before making an appointment at this establishment.

This place has a great atmosphere with friendly and professional staff. They were able to give me a private room to do my hair. Rose was my stylist and she did an amazing job with the color and style. Overall, I loved the experience!

My husband and I got the couples massage and my “massage” by Zara was very strange. There was no pressure, and it felt like i was just getting a bunch of oil spread up and down my back and limbs. When I asked if she could apply more pressure she said “that’s deep tissue and it will be extra charge”. What was supposed to be a relaxing time turned out very frustrating. Very disappointed. My husband got his massage by Maria and had a better experience.

My husband and I went for massages on 2/4. His was supposed to be a deep tissue but instead had the same massage as mine, which was the therapeutic. Hes had many deep tissue massages in the past, but this experience left him feeling like his muscles werent worked enough.Also, his masseuse didnt communicate with him, ask about injuries/areas of concern (which he has several) or ask about level of pressure. These are basic things every masseuse normally does.When we talked to the front desk about it, they said Zara doesnt speak English. Ok fine. But if a masseuse cant communicate with or understand her clients, thats a bit of a problem - especially because she could unintentionally hurt somebody.Very disappointed because this was my husbands birthday gift and we had been looking forward to it.My massage was with Dolores and was great. I left feeling like a million bucks. My only issue was her phone kept vibrating during my session. It was very distracting and took away from the experience.For a full service spa, this place lacked some professionalism and I probably wont return.

Hairdresser is very good. Fabian is very good. So as Julian (who did my color last year). I’m just disappointed with the management. I came for the promo and it was not explained that blow dry is not included so have to pay extra. I kept telling them how can I go out in the cold if mg hair is wet?! I did not ask them to hairstyle my hair. I don’t know what’s not clear but they kept saying sorry and still charged me.

What a horrible experience! Jesus, did a horrible job in my natural curly hair so I had to ask another hair stylist - Godoy- to re do it my hair which required to washed it again ! More than one hour ! Two hair stylists for a basic service and the owner still CHARGED for both !! $114 !! Which normally costs $45 ! So my understanding is The owner supports her workers to do something wrong in order to charge more ! And on top of that there was NOT AN APOLOGY from Jesus or the owner !

I was blown away by the experience I had here! I had a facial with Dolores and a deep tissue massage with Lina. Super horrible im literally so angry. the hair stylist missed multiple parts of my hair when dying it and didn’t even bother to section it properly when fixing it and applying the bleach. he gave me the most uneven cut as well and I literally look like a crackhead on Lexington avenue. i ended up paying almost $400 for something I could have done myself at home and didn’t even ask for… he cut my hair and charged me $60? For a haircut? Which was super uneven and only half an inch was even cut off? Now my hair is 5 different colors, which could have been avoided if he dyed my roots which he completely missed. I lowkey felt taken advantage of… almost $400 is crazy for an uneven haircut that looks worst than boxdye. I’m so upset, don’t bother coming here. Literally fuming, I look disgusting.

I just moved to New York from Texas and so its my first time visiting this spot as a treat to myself. I received a 1hr therapeutic massage from Cindy (Mishell) and it was AMAZING! I could tell she truly knew what she was doing. Afterwards, I had facial appointment with Rosa for a pore cleansing and my first microdermabrasion. She walked me through the entire process and what to expect, as well as aftercare and upkeep. I especially love that she was so knowledgeable in all things pertaining to skin health, and advised me of a proper diet, SPF and water intake. She was so very sweet and welcoming and I really look forward to getting my monthly facials with her!

Dissapointed that I have to update this review but I have no choice, I work hard for my money and have self-respect. As a longtime customer, Ive been increasingly dismayed to see that other less-melanin-ated or Brazilian customers are consistently treated better than I am upon check-in and check-out (see other similar observations for other customers), but I continued to visit because Rosa is a great facialist and a lovely woman. I have to put that aside however due to recent treatment by the spa manager, Lillian. I purchased two gift certificates as Christmas gifts for my mother in December for a facial, microdermabrasion and a collagen each. I was charged $135.00 for these three services, plus tax twice. Since then their prices have increased substantially. When booking an appointment for my mother utilizing one certificate, I wanted to ensure that we would not have to pay the difference for the services since the certificate was for a specific service and not an arbitrary amount. I was told, over the course of several conversations I could 1) use it towards the treatments but would have to pay the difference or 2) could use BOTH certificates within three days. Neither of those were acceptable and was told, I could use one certificate towards the originally booked appointment and my mother would not be charged the difference after much back and forth, the other I would have to discuss with Lillian at a later time. Lillian called me to discuss later that day, and I missed her call. I called her back and voicemail was full. Upon checking out after my mothers appointment, Lillian embarassed my mother and claimed she owed the difference (loudly, as I had called to speak to them when my mother texted me about what was going on, and I could overhear her conversation) although I was told a note would be made along with her appointment that she should not be charged when confirming the appointment. I was put on hold for five minutes as I heard her arguing with my mother. I hung up and called back and when she asked if she could put me on hold, I told her she could not because my mother was still there and I wanted her to be able to leave. She told me she tried to contact me the day before, which I acknowledged and told her I was busy, and she told me I would have to call her back later because she was busy with other clients. As you can see from my first review Ive been a loyal customer for many years, and the way my mother and I were treated because of their operational ineptitude was disgusting. Sad to say Im in the market for another facialist after 11 years. Recommendations, anyone?
