Chantal and her team are amazing!!! We had such an amazing experience. I tried scheduling massages and facials the week that we were going and she made it work for us. She was in constant communication with me and kept me updated.We were greeted with some really refreshing drinks and with her team ready. I definitely would go back here! The atmosphere was so relaxing and just truly enjoyed our experience. Thank you Chantal for the wonderful experience!! 5 stars for sure!!

We chose the Retreat for a ladys birthday weekend get-away. The owner, Chantal, went above and beyond to help coordinate our Special Spa day! The facials and massages were excellent! Every woman who attended said it was one of the best spa experiences theyd ever experienced. We dont live in the area, but well be back. Thank you for making our celebration so memorable!!💗

Hands down the best Spa in Athens… Chantal is the sweetest, best massage therapist!!! About a year ago I called their spa in a lot of pain, she was booked up, but stayed late one night to fit me in! Ever since then I see her monthly, for a great massage!

I was impressed by Chantels empathy towards my situation and shuffled some appointments around to relieve my issue. Like everywhere thats 5 star they are normally booked week in advance. Her many years being in the profession shines through from hello to handing back the credit card. I highly recommend being a good experience with lasting results.

Ive been coming here for 8 months now. Chantal is amazing! She works with my ever changing schedule (even very last minute changes). Shes very good about reminder texts! And the massages! Omg, shes brilliant! I cant give a review of anyone else because Chantal is the only one Ive seen! Why shop around if I found a great one? The spa is very warm, inviting and homey! Not a clinical experience! Will definately keep coming here!

I came from out of town to visit my mom. She goes to this place regularly and sees Chantal. I had Beatrice for my massage and it was wonderful. She massaged 22 years of tension out of my shoulders lol. Ive never felt better. Ive had a massage before but this was above and beyond. Shes amazing at her craft.

Hands down the best experience EVER! Chantel went above and beyond to schedule 3 massages at the same time to make our annual girls trip a success! Afterwards was booked to have our nails done. The entire staff was pleasant and welcoming. Would highly recommend this location.

I almost hate to say how good my experience at The Retreat has been because I dont want to compete for appointment times. Chantal is very accommodating and follows up to ensure everything runs smoothly. Jeremiah is very professional and finds all of those hidden spots that you dont even realize hurt until they dont anymore. My husband and I now consider ourselves as regulars and would never willingly miss an appointment.

We had the pleasure of working with Chantal to coordinate a Bachelorette spa day for our bride to be and a few bridemaids. It was so nice to relax all together in one place and get amazing massages and facials. Every lady in our party loved it and I recommend booking a longer massage in advance, sooo amazing. We stayed the night in Athens and found a fun AirBnB, Nathans Place, this combined with The Retreat Spa equals perfect relaxation and tranquility.

Great local find! So much more naturally relaxing than places that are trying so hard. Comfortable atmosphere, great staff, fantastic work!I sincerely thought that pain for trigger points was the only solution to get anywhere with releasing knots. I even doubted when I left the first time that it may not have been enough... By day 2 almost all my muscle pain was gone!!!!!!No more painful massages for this lady!!!! Thank you so much!!!

My husband and I came here for our first couples massage for our anniversary weekend! When we first arrived we were welcomed by Ashley, and she was so nice. We were definitely not disappointed and it was everything we expected and more. Shannon and Chantal were great and made us feel so comfortable and welcome!

Great experience! My mother-in-law and I had massages here in May. She had a hot stone massage and I had a prenatal massage. They make sure you are comfortable and tailor the massage to your needs. The staff are so polite and professional. We both enjoyed our massages very much! I am definitely planning on going back!

My husband and I decided to make an impromptu visit to look at some real estate while we had a couple of days off. Chantal was extremely kind, helpful & went above & beyond to get a couples massage booked for us. She even called in a contract therapist to make room for us in the schedule & so that we could have our massages at the same time. She was easy to communicate withIn addition, she gave us a few dining referrals. We ate on the patio at The Boat House (also fabulous). As residents of Dallas, we have A LOT of options for dining & spa services.Angie & Angyla did such an effective job for each of our different needs. Great little spot. I had a massage from the owner, and had a very pleasant experience. I would go back for sure when ever visting my friend again. Was fun to have shared a great love for animals as well!

Highly recommend this place! Chantal is excellent at what she does! I was traveling to Texas from CT and was in desperate need of some relaxation time and a massage. I have a high stress job, physical job, and some prior injuries. Chantal listened to my needs and delivered great techniques that totally helped my body. This place is so cute and staff is so friendly! I immediately felt better upon leaving! I can not believe how accommodating they were with being able to fit me in. Staff takes their time with clients which made me really able to feel relaxed, I have been to other places where I felt rushed.

Chantal, Stephanie (Massage Therapist), Kristen(Esthetician) were SUPER FABULOUS and knew what they were doing! Very professional and friendly.They accommodated my request for the Delightful Package for my sister and me on New Years Day morning. After a challenging 2021, I wanted to start the new year off right for us and The Retreat came through! They made that a reality for us! They are the BEST!

Yesterday I went to The Retreat for a massage (by Chantal) and a facial (by Rhonda Kidd) . Both were FABULOUS! The atmosphere here is the best for these services. Beautiful, smells lovely, relaxing music and friendly and professional staff. I will be returning in 2 weeks for a reflexology session and am so excited. My friend was getting married, under a lot of stress so decided to do a massage and facial. No one could accommodate the time we needed, but the staff at The Retreat went above and beyond to make her day special. This was my 3rd possibly 4th visit and I absolutely love the place. A business that puts the customer on a pedestal is a rarity these days. I had found a gift card given to me that I thought I had lost forever, but after looking at it more closely, I disappointed to discover it was expired by 18 months. I called Shantel and she very graciously redeemed it for full value and provided a delightful massage. She definitely didnt have to do that. I highly recommend this place and will be frequenting it for all future occasions!

I have been a repeat customer at the Retreat for more than 12 years. The monthly massage I receive does wonders for my back and muscle issues. Chantal is the BEST!I was given a gift of a facial treatment by a friend recently. The microderm facial I received at Beautiful U was one of the best I have ever received. Rhonda is very knowledgeable about skincare and made some excellent recommendations about additions to my skincare routine. I wholeheartedly recommend you give Beautiful U an opportunity to pamper your skin. And while you’re at The Retreat, make a day of it and have a massage!

We had a great experience at the Retreat spa. I brought 7 girls total there as a bachelorette party. They were so accommodating and friendly! really went above and beyond to make sure every girl had the best experience! Not to mention I had an AMAZING massage as well as did the other girls. Anyone in the area looking for a great spa should check them out!

I want to start by saying that I had mixed feelings about massage therapy. My doctor recommended I see a massage therapist and I laughed at the idea.Well I called and Jeremiah had me in the very comfortable, soothing building within 2 hours. I walked in with the idea that this was not going to help. Walking in a a discomfort level of about 8, I must say I walked out at less than a 2. Im a believer, Jeremiah didnt make me feel like just another number, he educated me, and didnt put any pressure for me to book another appointment. However I did, because this in my mind and body will make a difference in my everyday life.Jeremiah thank you so much for everything you do and you knowledge. You earned my trust.5 stars is not enough.

My husband surprised me with a massage and facial. Tammie and Tera are amazing. When you walk in, you can feel the “relaxation vibe.” All the staff members were welcoming, and each of them greeted me with a smile. Tammie really helped the tension in my back, and helped the pain in my arm (from carpal tunnel). She even gave some great advice on ways to help the lower back while at home. Tera was awesome as well. My face looked radiant after she was done. My pores feel tighter, and my face feels soft like butter. I will definitely be back for more services! I think next time I’m going to try a chemical peel! This place is definitely amazing, and you are cheating yourself if you don’t book now!

Tammy did my last massage and she was very good giving special attention to areas I needed worked. Chantel did my prior massage and both are top notch ladies. Chose anyone there for a great experience and you will not be disappointed!

How far would you travel for a fabulous massage? I traveled 2125 miles!Well actually, I came to Texas to visit my elderly mother. For the past year my sister and I have been handling her affairs after she fell and broke her hip and was moved into a retirement center.It has been one stressful year. She is the sister nearest to Mother and she shoulders a lot of the stress. Friday the 13th was her 61st birthday and I wanted to do something special for her. She had never had a massage but was interested if I came along.From my home in Snoqualmie, WA I googled day spas Corsicana, TX There were several in nearby towns but this one caught my eye. Many reviews had such sweet things to say about the spa and the owner Chantal. My sister was like...that is an hour away! HANevertheless I called and quickly got a response. I saw they had a couples massage room and want to know if they could fit us in at the same time. Chantal was so gracious and accommodating, she checked with another therapist and arranged for the joint session.It was a beautiful drive to Athens and the spa was in a quaint little house just a few blocks from the main road. When we entered we immediately felt the peacefulness and serenity of this lovely spot.Chantal is a lovely woman with a warm caring spirit. They lead us to the room so that we could get ready. My sister and I are total opposites...I am pump and fluffy (always hot) and she is slender and thin...always cold. Somehow they knew this immediately, as my sisters table was warm and heated and mine was not!!My massage with Chantal was perfect, she gave extra attention to all the areas I listed and as requested her touch was not too hard and not too soft; it was just right. As the session went on we chatted about family, Texas, food, and just life in general. At one point I noticed I had not heard from my sister. She was so relaxed she dozed right off.Needless to say, a visit to the Spa will be a necessary part of my visits to Texas in the future. Im from Snoqualmie but to get a great massage you must go to Athens, TX.One side note: Snoqualmie...beautiful place, hard to pronounce. Chantal mastered it on the first try! Also she told me Athens was the blackeye pea capital of the world. Being a southern girl I told her even in WA I serve them New Years day. When I left she gave me a gift from Athens to remind me of my roots.

Nothing but POSITIVE things to say about The Retreat! Ive always been treated & taken care of to the fullest but the staff. This past week I endured some awful side effects of a migraine/tension headache that put me to bed. Chantal took amazing care of me & was awesome with tips & follow up after care.

Jeremiah is an amazing massage therapist he really gets in their and gets the knots worked out I was so impressed with his work I rebooked with him Id hate to need him and not have him available he is so knowledgeable I highly recommend him hes worth every penny

I ordered a gift card over the phone for my best friend as a bride to be gift. Ordering over the phone was easy and Chantel had it in the mail that evening. My best friend absolutely loved having a moment of relaxation in the midst of a stressful last week of wedding prep.

We were gifted massages for Christmas and set up our appointments. Wife works at the school and found out she was in direct COVID exposure, along with mom. Had to cancel last minute due to this and this company refuses to allow a rebooking and has voided the certificates! Now they are refusing to refund my mother, who is disabled and on a fixed income due to fine print about 24 hr cancelations! Profits over people, zero understanding as Henderson county is back in COVID danger zone. This is unacceptable and unprofessional by any standards of conducting business. I will be sure that this review is not the last step that is taken either, as this organization and its owners need to be held accountable in trying times to have a little more compassion and to not treat people this way.No response because my immunocompromised mother was in the hospital with covid! Not that its your business but shes medically retired from brain trauma, has significant memory issues. GIVE HER A REFUND!!!! I have no doubt about the inconvenience the cancellation caused but to egregiously claim that you had to send people away in order for us to get booked is ridiculous. Furthermore claiming that no one could have been moved into those slots is also egregious. You could have made the right choice and allowed for a reschedule and if not just refunded the money. Instead what you are doing is stealing an elderly womans money who is on a fixed income that gave a gift for Christmas. Your services were not rendered and in such you need to refund the money immediately. I SUGGEST YOU DO THE RIGHT THING HERE

First massage ever an it was absolutely amazing.. the most relaxed I have ever been.. I had the best sleep Ive had in 5 years and woke up feeling super refreshed and energized... Will definitely be goin back and I HIGHLY recommend.. thank you for the amazing service

Ok I highly recommend The Retreat I have been going for a couple months now I have degenerative disc disease in my neck as well as RA the therapist wrkn with me has made me feel so much better to where I woke up the other day on a Monday morning ugh Monday’s right .. happy happy my husband is like why r u so happy so early I’m like it’s massage day yahoo so yes very pleased with the progress I’m trying to avoid getting the nerves burned in my neck for the third time so so far I have been able to avoid that I’m telling u make an appt u will not be disappointed:))))
