Atlanta Eagle

The Eagle is one of my favorite bars in Atlanta! Every time I’m in town, I stop by to get a drink. The music is great and so are the customers. I usually sit at the bar downstairs and the bartender Tim is amazing. He makes a great drink and always asks me about my travels and where I’ve been. Also, Tim is great eye candy. Definitely would recommend The Eagle and seeing Tim downstairs.

I had an unforgettable experience at the bar downstairs, and it was all thanks to Tim. Not only is he tall and incredibly attractive, but his striking eyes are absolutely mesmerizing. Beyond his looks, Tims service was nothing short of phenomenal. He has a natural charm and an easy-going demeanor that instantly makes you feel welcome. His drink recommendations were spot on, and he knew exactly how to elevate the evening with his perfect blend of professionalism and personality. If youre at the bar, make sure to catch Tim—hes the best part of the experience!

Terrific staff great drinks. Definitely get your moneys worth. A host of activities spread throughout the week so there’s honestly something for everyone. The bartenders are great. The afternoon Mikey will take great care of you!

They did a great job in having a drag bar separate from the downstairs space.Im very thankful for what Richard has done, but the personality and having other bars close has changed the personality drastically. The new owners need to consider a leather bar for the gay and straight community. It wouldnt complete, with this club as the neighboring clubs are smaller, so they will continue to come in.Hopefully, with all the gay Atlanta money, someone will realize the need soon.

I LOVED Atlanta Eagle! I was at the bar downstairs and Tim was my bartender! Best bartender I ever had! He was fun, talked to me, recommended drinks and they were GOOD AND STRONG! He deserves every tip he gets! Will definitely be back and will bring more people! Shout out to Tim downstairs!!!!

Recently, I’ve been coming to Atlanta every couple of weeks, and this is by far one of my favorite places to visit! Especially Tim, the bartender downstairs! Not only is he funny and fine, he makes some of the best drinks. He was extremely entertaining and friendly, he was just charismatic and made me feel welcome. I enjoy coming back Just for Tim. Plus, I want him to give me a hug just so I can lay my head on his chest lol. 💛😂💛

When visiting Atlanta, I went out with a few friends and we came to this place.The environment was definitely a vibe and the drinks were amazing aswell. There was a Bartender downstairs Name Tim who Greeted my friends and I with a big smile saying welcome! He was very inviting ,full of energy &laughter, very entertaining and his service was impeccable❗️ even through the night he checked on us to see if we were okay, he was very hospitable and I definitely recommend anyone who visit Atlanta to go check him out at the Eagle. I love Atlanta Eagle. The atmosphere, music and food are great. Tall Tim is my favorite bartender. Hes very attentive and makes excellent drinks. I love his secret menu options. Would definitely recommend as an Atlanta hot spot.

Every time I come to Atlanta, I make a point to stop in for a couple drinks and catch up with Tim downstairs! He’s by far 1 of the best bartenders I’ve dealt with. From day 1 he made me and my girls feel like old friends instead of customers.He’s just a really good time. And those muscles?!? WHEW!!

Phenomenal experience with Tim downstairs. He shook my cocktail better than a coin operated motel bed. He put the long in Long Island Ice Tea, the man in Manhattan and whenever he drops a lemon I’m there to slurp every drop. 5 star service!

Came by as a last minute outing and I had a blast all thanks to Tim at the bar on the lower level! I never made it to the upstairs area and that was fine because the atmosphere, conversation and drinks were flowing that I didnt want to leave. I didnt eat anything at the bar (just came from dinner) but Tim was super professional and kind, making my time there worth the stop.I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Atlanta and hopefully run into Tim again!

I never leave reviews but this time I HAD to ! came with some friends to a new spot and had a blast! the music was amazing and the drinks were too but the best part of the night was the flawless service that Tim (downstair) provided. 10/10 would visit again !

As a long time patron and supporter of The Eagle, I have known Mikey for many years. He consistently provides a great experience to his customers! He is always present, energized and fun! He treats each person like family. Something that is lacking in many establishments. Go see him!

I’m a huge fan of the Atlanta eagle actually the eagle in general no matter what state tends to be a good time. and Josè a special place in my heart because of the atmosphere and the service. The bartender Tim on the lower level is amazing and ridiculously handsome!

Chandler is one of the best bartenders you’ll find at the ATL Eagle. His warm personality and welcoming smile make every visit special. Whether you’re there for a night out or just a quick drink, Chandler goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. The ATL Eagle itself is a fantastic spot with a vibrant atmosphere, and Chandler perfectly embodies that energy. His service, along with the bar’s unique vibe, keeps me coming back. Highly recommend

Definitely made this my home bar. The bartenders are great and they have weekly events. Ruby Redds Drag Bingo is a must on Wednesday nights and Karaoke with Raqi on Thursdays is a blast.

My husband and I have been to many events at The Atlanta Eagle. We especially love Ruby Redd’s Birdcage Bingo on Wednesday nights. The best pick me up in the week to help you make it to the weekend.

I was served by Tim(downstairs) and my experience was absolutely amazing. His vibe was on point which inspired my vibe. I would definitely return just for him and the drinks of course.

Def nowhere near Eagle NY but not bad at all. Very sexy guys. Friendly ppl. Ok, dance floor & common areas. The food looked ok, yet I didnt try it. Drinks were just typical.The best part of the bar is the disco ball with its harness!

I came around 5:00 pm and ordered lemon pepper wings with French fries and it was pretty good. I watched as everybody food came out and it all looked amazing . . Im definitely coming back to try something different .

The Cafe - Just Eat It inside the Eagle has delicious food. The best okra in Atlanta. The Wings are big and juicy with my favorite Honey Chipotle. Great Burgers. Their lunch specials include wraps and my favorite Fried Green Tomato Sandwich. The Service is fast. The doors open at noon for lunch. It’s a hidden gem

I’m very impressed with the Kitchen!!!!The food is so much better now. Definitely worth the price and I recommend the fried fish and jumbo shrimp

Electric atmosphere, full of people and loads of fun, unlike my hometown gay bar which is usually a ghost town. Awesome drinks, sexy shirtless bartenders and a nearly two hour drag show. The highlight of my first excursion to gay Midtown!

If you’re used to the old eagle or Eagles of other cities note this is less a leather bar and more just a gay bar. Unless it’s a gear night or a BLUF evening those in leather will be outnumbered by those dresses llc like the surrounding gay bars. Maybe im just used to the old Ponce location but there’s really no true full leather bar in the city

For starters, Ive never gone to any establishment that didnt recognize me for free entrance. Normally when I come out the paparazzi is about! But thanks to management my driver had to pay! And the bartenderess had issues with the shots being top shelf for a better tip! Which I get for free! And the bathroom was so slippery with used condoms that if Id fallen thered been a lawsuit! And the music sounded like Milli Vanilli because the disc kept skipping! And if the DEA wouldve been there nobody wouldve had their prescription bottles in hand! And that Baptist tour bus that broke down out front handing out tracts was the first time I was recognized that night with autograph! Next time show some respect and comp my friends too!

Best music in the city, imho. Community support takes many forms under this roof: Drag, bingo, education, meeting space for clubs, fundraising, gear sales, boot black services. This is a safe space for everyone (except those with hate in their heart).While the Eagle brand nationally has stood for a narrow definition of masculinity and male-space exclusivity, the Atlanta Eagle celebrates the spectrum of gender expressions.They dont serve food (yet), but Big Daddys food truck always hits the spot.

The bar is great, but the shows on Friday night never have diversity and not all of the acts are even drag. Who is putting this show together? It needs some work. Can we go back to the good drag shows and entertainment like Atlanta used to have?

The Atlanta Eagle has great drinks and a friendly staff. Before Eagle took over, the bar had changed hands a few times, but I think the current iteration is the best. The bar is clean, there is an upstairs for dancing, and outdoor area for fresh air and conversation. The drinks are typically stronger (but not more expensive than a regular Atlanta bar)!

I went to the Eagle last night. The last time there was Christmas Eve and Richard has really done an amazing job to the bar. The Eagle has returned and l love the new dance floor. It felt like I had returned home. Every shape gender and race was in attendance last night and they were having the time of their lives dancing their butts off getting lost in the awesome dance music being played. Thank you Richard for bringing The Eagle back and sharing it with us.

I stopped in at the Atlanta Eagle tonight, and the bartender who served me was fantastic! I saw his G Clef tattoo on his upper arm, and commented on it. He said I was the only one who knew what it was. When I asked his name, and he said Stan, I told him my Uncle Stan had disowned me. He said he would be my Uncle (despite the fact that I think I am several years older than him.) But, Im glad that my Uncle knew what I wanted to drink tonight and kept me hydrated. Kudos!!!!!

Went for the first time with my bf had a good time. Super friendly bartender a really chill LGBT space. It was a little slow but it was Sunday so thats understandable we want to come back and bring friends.

It’s definitely not like the original Eagle. Bartenders aren’t the nicest nor do they know their drinks. The atmosphere could be good. Also, the beer selection is very limited.

4/6 was my birthday and I happened to stumble upon this spot on Friday night. I’ve been to the Eagle in DC and NYC but this was my first experience in Atlanta. The crowd, drinks and music were amazing. You can expect me to be there on a regular basis 👍🏾

Amazing staff, best dance floor / lighting & sound system / best DJ ICharlie / awesome food - get the best fried ochra in all of Atlanta - every night has something fun goin on - Richard the owner is super friendly and a class act

So I went to the opening of the eagle and it was decent although extremely busy. I was able to get in rather quickly because I went in early however the lines were ridiculous ... All the way to the back road and it was a two-hour wait for several people to get in. They were turning people away at the other entrance until somebody decided to alleviate the line situation. Now neither of these caused the main issue but I know there were several friends that got frustrated. Also I ordered a Michelob ultra and it was $9.50 for one beer

I experienced two of the worst bartenders Ive met here both of them messed up a vodka cranberry. Also I witnessed one of them with long hair in French braids on the first floor in an unsanitary act behind the bar he seemed like he may be drunk.

I went for the comedy show. It was great. The environment, the talent. However I stood in the back and the sound system made it nearly impossible to hear what people were saying.

Customer service was perfect. Food was delicious. Its definitely not your bar food. The new kitchen staff is amazing.

Having my catalytic converter stolen would have been a more pleasant Friday evening. The Atlanta Eagle is nothing more than Burkharts lite. The only thing missing to complete the scene inside is arranged flowers and doileys. The staff members were pleasant and friendly as you would expect. The atmosphere and general clientele of the bar remains the same before the location was rebranded and pool tables removed. The eagle was a massive letdown compared to others. This bar shares the name only. You can attempt to put a leather harness on that pig, but its still Burkharts at heart. Perhaps the owners can grow a pair and wrap the place in a gimp suit and give it a proper redo, one worthy of the Eagle branding.

I love the Eagle; however, the new food service is not the vibe. No gay man wants to smell old, nasty, fried fish in the middle of the dance floor. I wish you well.

Just the dirtiest place Ive ever entered as far as gay hotspots go. The concrete dust ruined all our shoes completely (5 of us). Why so nasty? Well I guess some things never change but maybe someday theyll clean the floor? The music was great for sure. But a cover charge and a new pair of shoes is a bit pricey. Our community deserves more.

Its not quite as leather as I remember this leather bar being, but it was still a good time with good drinks, and good people

There is no food, so I didnt want to drink if I couldnt eat. When it was Midtown Moon, the food was awesome. However, for the event we were there for, it was cool.

This is a great bar one of the best Eagles in the country still today. Recently however I purchased a well double and a budlight and was charged $20. I know that bartender was new cause he had to ask another. My friend thats a regular patron seemed surprised at that but didnt comment either way. I paid ,even tipped since I only have one or 2 drinks max. That seems just a little over priced. There isnt a cover though so I guess it all comes out in the wash. Also that drink was well made unlike that Big Ginger the drink I got that time from the big Ginger at the main bar.

This is my favorite Club in Atlanta. Best bear and chubby bar above all the rest! Multi-level, multi bar, dance floor and large outdoor back patio area. Great music and Wonderful atmosphere. Go there!

My group has experienced off and on problems here with rude staff. If you dont order enough drinks and keep dancing on their dance floor theyll eventually ask you to leave. My partner had his drink laced with something once and we had to visit the E.R. Not the bars fault, but thats the kind of people it attacts. The club is dark and spooky inside and depending on the night they enforce a dress-code like underwear only but hey, its a leather bar. So unless youre into that scene or looking for something different keep these things in mind before entering. Free Cover -- Parking can be difficult, expect to park a few blocks away and hike.

Went here late on a Wednesday night and although it was quiet, the patrons were such nice and conversational people. The bar staff (Kirby) was awesome and Im definitely making this a regular stop when Im in town.

Have always loved The Eagle and the recent renovations make it even better. Over the past few months they have made it non smoking, covered the patio, painted inside and dressed up the dance floor. Looks a lot better but what makes it so good is the non judgemental laid back feel. Although a leather/Levi bar, everyone is welcome.

Great place for cheers, shows, and meeting friends.

I have visited this bar on a Onyx Bar night. The place was packed, strong drinks, staff friendly and the music was Hot! I came on another theme bar night with the Leather and Levi panther bar night again a wonderful time. I suggest to check out the place make your own opinion about this cool place.

Ive enjoyed my visits to the Atlanta Eagle for many years. Ive participated in and attended Leather events as well as just hanging out with the guys. The staff and patrons have always been enjoyable, welcoming, and fun...the most important quality of a club. Ill be back there soon!

LOVED it here! My partner and I enjoyed our first time there and we cannot wait to go back. I think Atlanta Eagle will definitely be a regular place for us to go!

Is there a zero rating?This USED to be one of the great things about living in Atlanta. The people who can remember that know not to go there anymore. The people who do suffer the place are too young to give this location a rating.I stopped visiting when they enforced the no smoking rule. Other bars catch my business now. I stopped in for Halloween. Glad there was no cover. Id have felt guilty as sin if I had to donate a cent to make this suburban yuppy dive of crap feel like it was actually pretending to be a leather bar.I miss the good times, but now its just a waste of property. SAD.

I get what they are trying to do, maybe, but not the time or place. I was here on a Friday night and the entire place smelled like old fried fish. Not the vibe.

Awesome! I had my 6th Birthday party here! They allowed me in, and the guys danced for us. One of the guys was shoving dollar bills down his pants which I thought was funny. He then danced on my lap, which made my Willy feel weird and gave me butterflies in my stomach. I went to go poopoo in the restroom and I saw plastic gloves everywhere, covered with mayonnaise. Maybe a messy person ate a sandwich. I saw two guys in there birthday suit dancing in a weird way. They were thrusting. Anyway thanks Dad for the greatest party ever!

Why is it $9 for a small amount of captain Morgan.... and I mean small, and Diet Coke in a giant cup? Way overpriced cocktails for what you get. Make sure if you come here and want a buzz, you do it before hand.

I havent been to the new location yet... planning to visit soon. I live over an hour away so dont get down there much!!! It is totally worth the drive!!

I used to go here a lot and always had a good time but after last week I will never go back. Was in a large group that was half women, half men. As we walked up we were told that we didnt belong there and a patron implied that they would drug our drinks. Once we got inside other patrons began shouting at us that women did not belong there.I go to gay bars around the city with friends all the time. Mostly because we have so many gay male friends. Ive never felt so threatened and excluded. Such a shame as I think the Eagle use to be open to accepting everyone.

I love the Eagle, but the drinks were very expensive and not strong. It’ll be a while before I go back to the Eagle, I’m very disappointed in the drinks.

Great service

A very laid back bar with people from all walks of life. It’s relaxing on weeknights and hopping on weekends. This place really pushes the one-drink minimum, as they should.

Scrapebox super funny stuff good strong drinks the only reason its not five stars is that you got to get there really early to get parking because you cant be a park in the neighborhood around it anymore and the parking lot is kind of small thats all. Thats a must go to Bar in Atlanta.

Maybe over time it’ll improve, but right now it’s lacking. Feels weird that it shares the Eagle branding but feels like a Blake’s 🥴

Outside of this bar some girl got punched by a guy and fell in the bushes and me and my friends had ti help her. We then told the bartender inside so she can alert the owner of the place to see who did it and she laughed. Horrible service.

Stan is the best bartender ever y’all go see Stan he will take care of you I came in from out of town and he made sure I hade the best time will be back just for Stan

The eagle is a great hometown bar. Its dank and seedy looking, but thats part of its charm. Tony is the best bar tender!

I liked it. And i liked that it was across the street from Krispy Kreme cus i was kinda drunk and wanted doughnuts since before i was drunk. Plus bears 🐻 are cute! Bartender was nice!
