I expected a much more polished place, not the basement of an old building, with an exposed ceiling covered by rope netting and fake ivy. It was a bit obvious they used a certain type of lighting in the shower area to deflect from obvious fact this looked nothing like the pictures advertised. While the customer service was great (its why i gave a one) i was disappointed in my experience. It wasn’t fully quiet and when i got out, i used the flashlight on my phone to check the water. I was completely grossed out, wish I had done it beforehand, but was excited to get in. It was very obvious they had not changed the water in a while…. I ran straight home to shower off. I wont be going back.

Had a great time for my first float experience. My wife booked this for Valentine’s Day and they provided complimentary champagne for the holiday. The lady who guided us was very kind and experienced. I also had a great convo with her about the history of the business and mental health. The experience itself was very unique. I would definitely recommend everyone who can try it at least once. I plan on doing more sessions to get the most out of it. My only critique is that I wish there was a better seal around the float chamber door so that it completely blocked out all of the light. Other than that it was pretty great

Walking into Flo2s felt serene and yes very mom & pop.I had the prenatal 60 minutes massage, it was absolutely amazing and well worth it. From the hot towel treatment to the pressure point stimulation; I will absolutely be returning for the 90 minutes session. The only reason I havent given 5 stars is that I wasnt given a final receipt and my initial bill had the massage as $90 BUT the prenatal is considered a master session so was in fact $105.

Recently wanted to give the whole floating experience a try. I was in Atlanta on a recent work trip and decided to make an appointment for 11:00. Arrived about 15 minutes early and met with the lady at the front desk. She was very nice and helpful explaining how the whole process worked since I was a first timer. I started the process by taking a shower but it appeared that the tile in the shower may have been old so they had placed floor mats on the ground for traction. The floor mats were horrible and hurt your feet. Next I got into the tank and shut the door. I would have enjoyed the tank if it wasn’t for the water dripping off the tank constantly. About 30 minutes in the tank dripped on my face and got into my eye which burnt horribly since all the salt in the water. About an hour into the process the water dripped on my mouth and that was the last straw. I think the business would be better if they took some of the money they charged and updated the facilities and equipment.

I celebrated an afternoon of relaxation with a friend with a 60-minute float. It was great fine. The salt would not come out my locs for the life of me. I wish there wasn’t complete silence while floating. But that is my preference. There parking is free but we had to tell the attendant that we were going to this place. You can bring your own towel and shower supplies or you can use the one that they provide. If I do return, I will get a 30-minute float

I scheduled float and couples massage. The parking lot is small and quite busy. It took 30 min to locate parking. The facility is small and calm. Immediately the staff greeted us and took us to the float chambers, explaining the process. The showers and float chambers were clean and adequate. The float was ok but that is simply personal preference. We both struggles to calm our mind and relax. After our float the receptionist took us to a small sitting area. Unfortunately we waited half an hour before the massage therapists realized we were there. Our massage appointment was at 4:30.We overheard the therapist asking about us at 5pm. This caused us to reschedule the reservations we had for the rest of our evening, creating a less than ideal dinner experience. The massage therapists were amazing! By far the best massage I have every received. Highly recommend.Unfortunately communication issue and delay were not addressed by the staff and it should have been.I would absolutely return for the massage and encourage you to as well.

This is a must do activity for mental health and physical healing/restoration. Lois is welcoming and provides ample guidance for first timers. This will be a once a month activity for me!Convenient location in downtown Decatur. Pay street parking. Wheelchair accessible entrance and float rooms.

First time floating and I had a great time. I was able to enjoy the mental light show and play with positions for the first 40 minutes and then dozed off for another 30 minutes before the door came open and I felt the breeze from the shower room (I hadnt closed it enough). I felt very relaxed and entertained when I came out and would do it again! I did like that my room had a small string of LED lights inside the tank for me to have until I felt comfortable enough to be in complete darkness.

My friend and I were having a girls weekend in Atlanta, and I booked a float, Infared sauna therapy and foot detox for October 15th at 9am. I called and this time was available. I asked what the total would be and was told $257 for both of us from the manager. We arrived at the location and were led to the sauna. It had never been turned on, and per the screen inside the sauna, it heats up at one degree per minute and one of the heating/therapy elements was not getting the signal so was not working. In our 30 minute session, it got to 118 degrees. I was later told it was supposed to be 135 degrees by the manager when I talked to her on the phone. I should not have had to use my session for the partial preheating of a sauna that was not hooked up/working correctly. We then went to the foot detox. It was not turned on properly, so we sat with our feet in lukewarm water for 30 minutes. I even asked the girl if the water should be becoming discolored, and she said yes. I asked my friend if we should just leave, and she said the float would be amazing so we decided to stay. The float was terrible for both of us. Water constantly dripped on my face the entire time. The look of the place is worse than the pictures of the missing door frame and mold. When we concluded our floats early, I mentioned the sauna and the fact that the foot detox wasnt turned on and the girl at the desk said she could give us a discount for the foot detox. My total came to $120 and my friends came to $105. We paid separately, left and said we should have left and not wasted money. There was definitely nothing relaxing about it.Much later that evening, my card was again charged for $60, without my knowledge or okay, and all charges went through.I emailed Flo2s and was contacted by the manager on October 18th. I was told we were charged incorrectly for the services and that is why I was charged an additional $60 later that evening without my knowledge. The manager said it was a charge for both of the foot detoxes. I dont know that this is legal, especially since they put someone elses services on my card. I was reimbursed $75 and the only option I was offered for the sauna was to have a credit for another session, even after I explained we were in town for a girls weekend and did not live there. I was told by the manager that the washcloth was to put over my face to prevent the water from dripping on my face the whole time. Why would I know that the washcloth from the shower room was supposed to be taken into the float to cover my face to keep water from constantly dripping on my face? The manager told me she would do nothing else about the sauna experience. She would have to talk to the owners and get back to me. It is now the 21st of October, and I have yet to hear from anyone. In total we were charged $285. $225 of that was what we were told we were being charged and then an additional $60 later on without my knowledge or consent.Save your money and do not go to this place. Definitely not worth $285 for services we never got and a rundown creepy float. If you do go, be warned they may charge you later without your knowledge or consent.

I wish I had a better experience however, while staff was friendly, this was just not the facility I expected. It was very hole-in-the-wall which is not what I anticipated from the pictures. Moreover, there was an unfortunate mildew smell in my float room that prevented me from relaxing; mildew is a major ick for me and I just couldnt ignore it. I cut my session short and politely left. I had the most wonderful and relaxing massage yesterday (Im still floating). I usually ask for the same massage therapist so that my experience is consistent. You might want to become a member, because, youll be back! I didnt have time to get a massage and float, so I chose massage only. If youre mostly interested in floating, again, sign up for a membership, because it will take you 2-3 sessions to get used to floating. Back to this massage, be sure to tell your therapist your preferred intensity level to get the best experience. This place it dark so you can feel truly relaxed and comfortable being nearly naked. Super professional! Just be sure to surrender and relax. Allow the massage therapist to lift the weight of the World off of your shoulders!

This is a very unique experience and everything was as expected. The instructions they provided were very good. I arrived early and they let me start as soon as the tank was ready. I was in for about 50 minutes and then decided to come out because I was getting really hot. It is not heated but somehow I started feeling warm.A towel and a wash cloth were provided. The place is on the ground floor and has a bit of a basement feel. It is not really the lush spa type of feel because the salt in the air causes aging for all surfaces.I recommend the experience and will go again when it is cooler outside and the warmth will feel good.

I thought I would reward myself with a peaceful New Years Eve treat and went in for both a sauna and float experience on Friday 12/31/21. When I arrived I thought the place was a little dingy but gave it a chance. The girl at the check in stand was super nice and showed me to the sauna. There were also 2 men in the lobby with her. When I got into the small sauna I could hear the 2 men who were in the lobby talking NON-STOP. Then after about 12 minutes I literally had to call the lobby from my phone and ask if they could keep their voices down. They lowered their voices but I still heard them talking for about another 15 minutes. In the interim I could hear the building squeaking every 1 or 2 minutes with the sound of people walking up and down stairs and throughout the building - in addition to other sounds. Not relaxing at all. Then after the sauna I was taken to the shower and float room area. The shower - OMG! - I could not get the shower water to a decent temperature. It was either extremely hot or cold so I literally had to quickly dip myself in and out of the shower water just to get a quick rinse. The float itself was okay. But at after about 30 minutes there was some sort of loud white noise that I could hear while floating. It sounded like sound from pipes in the building. In summary, this was NOT a relaxing experience. The noise from the building and the people were very loud and unpleasant. I will definitely float again but not at this location.

Just as many others have said it was a great place! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the services were extraordinary. We both did a 1 hour massage and 1 hour and half float combo for a special they were running. The massage therapist (Vincent) was very impressive. He was very knowledged on the body and muscles. He did a fantastic job! Will absolutely come back specifically for his services and recommend him to others. The tank was very relaxing and great detox for the body. I first tried a flotation/isolation tank 20 years ago when I lived in California. I was glad to hear about FLO2S. Their environment is peaceful and calm. There are several different floatation tanks and you can choose a specific one. (I enjoyed The Tile Room). The facility is clean and the flotation tanks are perfect--no noise, no light...just quiet, and a perfect temperature for comfort. When I leave after a float, I feel amazingly peaceful and calm. Id recommend FLO2S to anyone-- especially those who want to disconnect from the craziness of life for awhile. I like to go during the day to avoid traffic during rush hour. I can usually get in within a few days of booking. You walk in to a dark entrance, where the space has low ceiling--a little quirky. This isnt a fancy day spa, but maybe natural, earthy, and unpretentious. Parking is around the back of the building. Each flotation room has a private shower with wash cloth, towel, shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. Small but adequate. Bring shower shoes just as you would for a gym shower. Friendly people.

The moon room was great to float in and was one of the most relaxing experiences I have had in a while. I will recommend this place to all my friends and family. If there was one thing I didnt like is that there was a faint glow of light (and I mean very faint) from the lighting strip on the inside of the tank. The staff are great too!I have 2 tip though:1)when using either the tile or cave chambers, a little light leaks into the float tank from the shower area. If you want it pitch black like the the oasis chamber, turn off the lights in the shower area before climbing in ;] problem solved2)the tile and cane chambers are built into the actual building structure. Because its so quiet, you can sometimes hear sounds traveling through the foundation. Its not too bad but if you really want avoid that, book your time in the evenings!

I have been to FLO2S multiple times to use their float tanks. If youre lucky enough to get one of the pods, then youll actually be able to experience floating in an appropriate atmosphere. If not then your experience will be constantly interrupted by the sound of people walking across the hardwood floor of the business above FLO2S. So, if you do decide to go to FLO2S be sure to demand one of their float pods. They are a lot cleaner and are insulated enough to provide you with a decent floating experience. But this isnt actually why Im leaving the 1-Star review. If you do decide to spend your money with this business be aware of your things at all times and never leave anything behind. I left a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses behind and noticed maybe 20 minutes after I had left, I called the and spoke to the receptionist who said she had found them and would put them up so I could pick them up next time I came by. I asked if she could possibly mail my sunglasses to me since I moved out of Atlanta and come back once a month for business and she sighed and said No, I will just put them in the drawer and you can come by next time youre in town and grab them. Cut to 21 days later and I stopped by (same receptionist) asked if she had the sunglasses she put away for me, and of course, they were gone. I dont know who the owner of this establishment is, but I just think they should be aware that someone working for them is a thief. This isnt like me to even write a review and I debated whether to write this or let it go, but the sunglasses were a gift from my deceased brother (which I let the receptionist know) and have had zero response from them regarding this issue.Update: I have continued to check-in to see if maybe my sunglasses might pop back up, of course they havent. But every-time I have reached out to them I have been met with attitude and made to feel like my grievance is invalid.

The private tile shower with different color lights is a great way to get in the zone before you embark on your journey. There is a little pool noodle in the tile chamber which will provide just that extra bit of neck support if you feel like you need it.Just a word of advice- it is humid in the chamber, so if youre prone to sinus swelling, drink some mint tea or use a dab of Vicks vapor rub under your nose so as to make sure you can get into a comfortable breathing pattern.Repeat customers and members get better pricing, and after you come here, youll want to come back, so it turns out being an affordable way to get some quality you time on a regular basis. Unique experience and after about 30+ minutes it was quite relaxing. I was able to hear a lot of other noise in the building, however, such as a thudding bass of someones music and the sound of cars outside. Not exactly sensory deprivation, but the floating part was fun!My boyfriend used the other, more soundproof room and he was eventually able to relax, as well. However, when he got out at the end of the session to turn on the light, he got electrocuted! And the lady working there (who was actually super nice and very chill) told us that other people have reported getting shocked by that light switch; which makes me wonder how safe that place actually is, if theyve had such a concerning report and havent bothered to fix it.The reason it took us both a while to relax is that the magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) in the water BURNS LIKE ACID when you first get in. If youve shaved recently or have sensitive skin or are a lady... be prepared for some serious pain for about 20-30 minutes. Eventually it fades out and becomes more comfortable, though!I believe this is the only place in Atlanta that has this particular experience, so its worth trying out! Just dry off fully before touching the light switch.

Did a double float and couples massage with the hubs. We were both in our own float chamber. It was the first float experience for both of us.For starters, I am now a fan of floating. I can see why it might not be great for everyone (I was in the Oasis tank - you are in the dark in a large metal container), but I found it VERY relaxing. The whole natural salt water buoyancy is pretty trippy; I put in the ear plugs provided, used the head float, closed the hatch, and zoned out for an hour. I am very Type A (and we are in the process of buying/selling/moving) so this was perfect for me. Hubs was in one of the tile rooms, which has optional in-float lighting. He turned off the light and fell asleep - nough said.If you are uncomfortable in smaller spaces, you need to tell the folks specifically that you want a tiled chamber, not Oasis. We also did a couples hot stone massage, and we were both satisfied. Our masseuses did a lovely job. I dont do a lot of massages, but they use a dry oil so I didnt feel greasy afterwards, which was nice. Now to address some of the complaints Ive read. FLO2S is in the basement of a very old building in Little 5 Points. As noted elsewhere, this is not a fancy Buckhead spa. Yes, the ceilings are low. Yes, the photos were taken with photography lights , and probably when they first opened, several years ago. Hubs, who is much more sensitive to smells than I am, did not notice anything musty. I dont know what the space was before, but in a building that old, there are some stains that just dont come out. Also, when there is salt water as a major element of services, you will have corrosion. Go to their FAQs to read more about how they clean the chambers. The staff was all very pleasant and helpful, and I would recommend. Check the website and Groupon for specials.

I did it for a full 90 minutes and though I was able to get in the zone for most of it, I couldnt help but notice the motion lights coming on and off through the cracks in the door. When I was able to get my breathing into a rhythm I also noticed that I was able to hear footsteps and people talking. I thought float chambers were supposed to be completely light and sound proof? It was very distracting, and unfortunately once I noticed it, that was the only thing I could focus on. Cant wait to try it again...somewhere else.

Great Float, Great Staff. Unconventional Spa Environment.I couldnt believe there was a Spa in my own backyard in L5P. The staff are very kind and accommodating, it was my first time floating at this location, and they walked me through the process (I have floated many times) and tried to make the atmosphere relaxing with gentle aromas and calming music. But the spa is on the bottom floor of an old building, low ceilings, exposed pipes, old stone and wood. The place is humid and damp from the float tanks, and has quirky decor of mismatched tiles, stucco walls and epoxy floors. The staff cleaned between the previous floater and myself, so I am not accusing them of being unsanitary; but the place did not feel like a sterile clean environment that I have come to expect. Now maybe Im too prissy, but if youre looking for the white tile and breezy crisp cleanliness of a day spa, this is not the place for you. Think of this place as like... meditating in your sisters basement with incense and tapestries. And also once I laid in the float chamber, I had a great experience, it was total sensory deprivation for me.

Great customer service and awesome massage therapists. Very helpful and accommodating. Waiting area is very cozy with tea and water provided. Relaxing ambiance, with good music and the incense is not too over powering. There are free parking spots, first come first serve. The rest of the lot are paid parking and ranges from $5-7 depending on time of day. Would definitely come back!

My mom and I found FLO2S while on a girls trip to Atlanta. We were looking for something fun and different to do but also wanted to relax. We both loved the float and massage package and were surprised how easy and peaceful the float was. We have since told anyone we have talked to about this unique spa experience. We will definitely recommend for anyone headed to Atlanta and I hope to find something similar in my city! Thanks!

The workers are very rude I called to book an appointment and instead of trying to help the lady on the phone was extremely rude. When I asked to speak to the manager she claimed she was the manger .when I asked for her name she refused her name when I asked for the Human Resources number she claimed that was her to and hung up in my face . Floating should be a relaxing experience and from my two times floating here it was not. This company sells bogus Foot detox that they claim will help cleanse you but the workers can’t tell you how everything works because it’s a scam and the metal coil changes the color or the water but they promote it as it being something the predicts health problems you might have . They do not help you or introduce new comers on how the experience should work . And lastly when I got off the phone they the man who claimed to be the owner of the property I checked my groupon status and they erased my last session which reads redeemed on June 4 mind you I did not go in or allow them to do so.

Why isnt someone talking about how unbelievably unsanitary this place is??? Its like no one cleans the area where you shower , there was so much dust everywhere and it was LOUD. there was so much noise as you were trying to relax to get your massage.Just was disappointed with their lack care for the cleanliness of the establishment.Ever since I left, my feet have been burning. The staff was polite though.

I was going to be late for a 4:00 appointment. I called at approximately 3:30 to let them know. They indicated that my 90 minute appointment had been shortened to 60. I asked if I could reschedule then. They told me yes, but it costs $50. within 24 hours. 50 dollars for laying in a warm bath ! ! My surgeon only charges $25 for a reschedule. Needless to say, I cant recommend these people. What a joke.

I called the day before. I made an appointment for the infared sauna. Got some info, guy told me how great it was. I told him I would call back with my availability. Called back an hour later and made an appointment for the following day.I wake up early, battle 40 minutes of traffic and arrive early. Fill out some info and get ready to enter the sauna. I’m shown a large water tub. I ask if this is the infared sauna. I’m told no it isn’t. He says the infared sauna will take an hour to start and they haven’t started it.I left flo2s way more stressed than when I arrived. Lots of “sorry” and “wasted” time. If you do decide to use this place, maybe don’t set a morning appointment and call before you leave the house to see if they have done what they need to do so you don’t waste your time and gas like I did.
