Kim D. was phenomenal! She was super friendly and comforting. Her massage style was great and she listened to what I was looking for regarding any areas of focused - 60min Deep Tissue. The space was lovely as well! Definitely will be a frequent client.
I cannot say enough good things about The Art of Touch. Not only did I feel welcomed by the front desk staff, but the facility was spacious and beautiful. I loved the artwork and the lounge area. My massage was amazing. Anita’s hands are blessed! She gave me an incredible massage, and I thanked her several times before the massage was over! I fell asleep multiple times as well. I will definitely return soon. It was worth every cent.
The ladies at the front desk were super warm and welcoming. Claude is probably one of the best massage therapists that I’ve ever had. He always assesses what I need before the session and then delivers what was requested. He also gives an assessment of what he felt during the session afterwards to let me know where he felt the most tightness in my body.
Absolutely loved this place. My original masseuse left for the day but the young man who took over gave me the massage of my life. I just got off a 14 hour flight overseas and the energy in the environment was soothing. The staff were laughing and enjoyed themselves. The seating area on the terrace was refreshing and with the warm sun beaming on me as I enjoyed a cold beverage free of charge, I was in complete bliss.
After reading countless reviews on several businesses in and around Atlanta, I ultimately decided on The Art of Touch Massage, and I am SO glad that I did. I was able to easily book my appointment online, for the very next day. I was welcomed so graciously by Ari at the front, who explained everything to me, and took me on a short tour of the facility. They have a very nice set up… from the front lobby and waiting area, the hydration/snack area, art gallery, outside terrace, the main waiting area, and the actual “treatment” room. Everything is so inviting and so peaceful. Since it was my 1st time here and I was trying to book asap, I chose “any female” masseuse. I was assigned to Ren. I’ve had many massages in my day, but when I say this woman is PHENOMENAL at her craft, I am NOT exaggerating…I left feeling like a whole new woman. I elected to have a lymphatic drainage massage, which I’ve never experienced. Contrary to belief, this type of massage is not just for post-op, but is definitely recommended in the event you do undergo certain procedures. It’s also great for anyone in general, but especially those dealing withimmune, autoimmune and even thyroid disorders. The technique of this type of massage consist mainly of VERY light strokes.. so light that initially, I was like “this can’t be helping anything!” I clearly had a different mindset by the time I left. I was so impressed with my entire experience, that I booked an eight package deal the very next day. This will definitely be my new “go to” place anytime that I need and/or want a massage.
$170 for a weak body rub?I did get a nice, relaxing Swedish oil rub. The problem is that I scheduled a deep tissue massage, specified the maximum firm pressureon the intake form, and told the therapist that I was looking for a tune up, not a relaxation session. Based on this, I should not have been dozing off on the table as the masseur artfully rubbed oil on my skin. I should have been in significant discomfort as a therapist did meaningful work on my muscles.Ive had many massages in different styles. Ive studied massage myself. This is certainly the most expensive massage Ive ever had, and the most disappointing.Looking at the list of therapists on their website, the one they scheduled me with does not even have deep tissue listed in his practices. Art of Touch doesnt seem to know or respect the difference between these services, and seems more interested in presenting a glitzy spa vibe than actually providing proper service.
Johanna was very accommodating and the massage was incredible. I walked out feeling 10 times better than when I arrived. Johanna did a great job of communicating with me to target problem areas. It was a bit tricky to find, but I called and was able to get help with directions!
Sherlene was phenomenal. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. The place is beautiful, doubling as an art gallery, which really helped to get into a zen mode. And the staff were lovely. Arli was a bright smile and presence and very helpful.
I just had the most amazing massage by Maurice! I am visiting from out of town so I called for a last minute appt and the receptionist, Arie was the absolute sweetest. She was able to squeeze me in last minute. Maurice has extensive experience and knowledge on sports injuries, he was able to relieve all of my tensions and pain I had upon walking in. Highly recommend him and this location!! Thank you so much for the much needed relaxing experience.
This place was great. Prices are a bit higher than independent massage therapists, but you get really great service, lots of lounge relax areas for before/after care. Awesome artwork/gallery. Loved the balcony too. My massage was great and executed perfectly, she listened to my issues and addressed them perfectly. I was able to get a same day appointment which is not easy with independent massage therapists. I booked an hour before showing up and they had someone available.
There are pros & cons here.Pros: rooms are nice & tables are comfy. The therapists are pretty solid. I like that I can schedule myself online & choose male/female. Music is relaxing, it’s clean & organized. They do validate parking for 2 hours if you park in the deck (entrance behind the building). The waiting area has snacks.Cons: it’s overpriced, you can get great massages for a good bit cheaper nearby. While the waiting area is nice, it’s very small (for 2 people only) & it’s very bright, not dark & relaxing like other places. My last therapist was oddly listening to a podcast or something on EarPods during my session - I don’t really care but I could hear it, which was distracting.Summing up: good experience, but overpriced compared to other nice spots in the area.
Kim was amazing. Very for professional. My neck and shoulders felt 1000 % better after the massage. Highly recommend!
I was not pleased with my experience. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage and the therapist did not apply adequate pressure it was more like a relax and was more of a rub down than a massage. They did not massage my feet either. Not worth the money in my opinion maybe I was paired with an inexperienced therapist.
Art of Massage is very clean and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and private. Barbara Boyd is a skilled massage therapist who quickly located my problem areas. She has the strength to do quality deep tissue work and has a relaxing personality.
Stunning office interior with art galleries in the lobby and bright beautiful windows. Refreshments offered for customers while they wait and all front desk staff have been helpful and kind.I see Kathy and can’t recommend her highly enough! She has a phenomenal sense for how much pressure to use to get into the tight muscles without pressing too hard. She also has a calming and comfortable presence that I think anyone would appreciate. I have been struggling with back pain due to stress and tightness and she has made my quality of life so much better!
The best 90 minutes ever. Mrs. Sharlene was very professional and made me feel at ease with her. The full body massage took care off all the stress. I left feeling relaxed and thankful. Thanks Mrs. Sharlene and The Art of Touch!
Had my first pregnancy massage with Claude & he was amazing!!! I honestly thought it’d be awkward or uncomfortable with a male but absolutely not! His hands were firm but still gentle. Claude deserves a raise! Also the spa was beautiful & relaxing, nicely decorated.
EDIT: Management contacted me and made it right, I really appreciate the quick and courteous response from them, so have changed my review. They are very open to feedback, and perhaps my experience was the anomaly.Massage left me in more pain than when I arrived... I will preface this by saying that everyone was very kind and the facility is nice. However, I paid $155 for a 1.5 hour Swedish massage. The masseuse asked about problem areas, I noted one area of my back. She clarified that I wanted the Swedish massage all over, not a deep tissue massage. I confirmed I just wanted a swedish massage. She then used a LOT of force on my back, including bony regions. She did not ask how the pressure was so I did not comment (regretted this a lot the next day!) thinking this was the amount of force needed to relieve pain, assuming they knew what they were doing. The whole massage was painful. Even by that night I knew it was not right. And the next day I was in so much pain in my back and SI joints, it was hard to function at all.I attempted to contact the owner, including via the email she leaves on these reviews, but the email gets bounced back. I also contacted them via contact form on their site. Ive never received any response so unfortunately feel the need to leave this review.
This was a life changing experience for my first ever massage! Claude was fantastic and the ladies who checked me in and out were so lovely and sweet! Can’t wait to come back for more massages!!
This place is wonderful - the ambience and service are always outstanding. Faith is a miracle worker - her massages are incredible. I’ve gotten several massages in my life and very few come close to hers. She is phenomenal.
I am extremely happy with my experiences here. Both of the therapists that I see are absolutely amazing. Their styles and technique are different but the sessions absolutely wonderful non the less. Reception is very, welcoming and professional. I am a regular customer and I highly recommend The Art of Touch!
Johanna is an angel! She gave me relief after two weeks of pain in my shoulder. She has a customer for life.
My fiance and had the absolute best experience. This is our fourth time at the Art of Touch and probably my favorite so far. Alex and Amareh gave us the best service at the front. We had probably the best massages so far from Kim and Johanna - they were absolutely fantastic.
Its my third time here and every single time I leave so relaxed! Johanna is my absolute favorite. Such a pretty space, too!
Absolutely the best massage I have ever had. The whole experience was amazing. It’s a beautiful spa with kind, friendly and caring staff. I will absolutely be back.
We called two weeks before our trip to get this massage. It was booked we gave our card info and everything was done. The day of the massage we called to double check our appointment. They claimed that there was nothing scheduled under our name but they still had us on file somehow. So needless to say they had no open availability and were not able to get us in after we made the appointment because there was no “reservation” or confirmation. If you use them I would make sure you get everything before you show up.
I have been to several massage therapy studios in Atlanta, and I must say that Faith at The Art of Touch in Midtown, is hands down the best therapist in the city! The Staff is wonderful also, always peaceful and pleasant. The General Manager, Skukura is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. You should book an appointment today!
Been coming here for a few years now and I always leave super relaxed. The massage I had with Kathy yesterday was absolutely incredible! 24hrs later and my body still feels super relaxed. She is an AMAZING addition. Kat is also great to ground your body as well. Best place in the city to relax!
From the moment I entered the business I began to relax just from the lovely aroma that greeted me. The receptionist (Erica) was pleasant and knowledgeable and offered refreshments as she showed me around the business. I waited less than five minutes for my masseur who immediately put me at ease with his warm smile and calm demeanor. Inside the massage room , my masseur asked relevant questions and gave me the opportunity to discuss my concerns about areas of my body. The massage was amazing with perfect pressure and concentration on areas I discussed earlier with him. After the massage my masseur offered drinking water and escorted me to the reception area, Erica checked me out and offered a menu of services and stamped my parking ticket. What a lovely experience I had at Art of Touch, I can’t wait to return!
I just got done with my first massage ever and I am in a state of pure bliss!!! First of all, the space is so beautiful and relaxing. They have refreshments and light music and art on all the walls. The massage was perfect, Jordan did a great job. I can tell a huge different in how I feel after just one session. I cannot wait to go back and definitely recommend this for absolutely everyone!!
We have been going to Art of Touch since it opened many years ago. Recently there has been a change in ownership and they seem to be even more focused on providing great service. The ambiance is soothing and inviting. Massage rooms and waiting area are very clean. My most recent massage was with Ginger and she did an amazing job. She asked what I wanted to focus on and did just that. Art of Touch continues to be our only choice for massage in Atlanta.
I’ve been coming to the Art of Touch for years and have seen quite a few of their wonderful therapists. Online booking for appointments is simple and easy. Upon arrival, the reception area is bright and open. The front desk staff are very friendly and efficient. As you venture past check-in, the space is just stunning. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Midtown, outdoor balconies and artwork by local artists on the walls surround you as you walk and settle into the comfortable waiting area. Tea, water and other light refreshments are usually available. Treatment rooms are very clean and well-appointed. Calming instrumental music and heated tables (both adjustable to your preference) as well as soft lighting add to the ambience of the space. Several different massage types are available and each therapist has their own style and area of expertise so don’t be shy about asking the front desk or manager for suggestions as to which therapist and massage modality will likely be the best match for you and your needs. However, every therapist I’ve encountered over the years is lovely with their own unique energy and vibe and every massage has been very good! Taking the time to listen, getting to know you and your problem areas and customizing the massage to each client is what really sets Art of Touch apart from anywhere else. I’ve found targeted massage to be the perfect complement to the physical therapy I had already started to rehab a hip injury that prevented me from being the very active person I’ve always been. Keeping up a regular schedule of both now has me outside running, hiking and doing all.the.things again! Plus, it’s a great way to unwind your mind and relax which is so important to our overall well-being. For others who may be struggling with any kind of chronic sports-related injury or health condition, adding massage to your healing toolbox can be invaluable to getting you back out there…stronger and better than ever!
My masseuse was Lovelace he is and will be my only masseuse till the end of time. The atmosphere and the staff are ALL outstanding. Will here from here on!
I had an horrible massage experience on 11/11/23. Due to the therapist not conducting a good massage and the receptionist lacking empathy when I attempted to share my discomfort. I have previously come to the Art of Touch during 2012- 2015 and services were always pleasant. However, not this time. Once informed of my dissatisfaction, the manager IMMEDIATELY stepped in to assess the situation and went above and BEYOND to not only listen but to resolve the issue. This alone warrants a 5 star review. Were all human and will not ALWAYS get things right, BUT when a viable solution is granted it truly warms the heart!!! I hope this will serve as a training opportunity to improve treatment services. I definitely look forward to giving The Art of Touch another try in the near future. Thanks again for providing an opportunity for me to share my concerns.
Came here on a girls trip to Atlanta. This place is beautiful & quiet, with great staff. Erica and Alex were awesome as greeters, both welcoming and helpful for first time guests. Johanna and Elizabeth are awesome at their craft and really listen to their clients needs! Would recommend to anyone coming to ATL (midtown)
Fantastic customer service and wonderful staff! Special shout out to Shakera and Naeema who were so accommodating and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.
My visit at Art of Touch was great! Faith did an excellent job. She took the time to address my problem areas; I mean, she got in there and did her thing. I also enjoyed chatting with the manager (Shakira?), at checkout. I had a great experience and will be back. Thanks!
Really enjoyed my prenatal massage here. Chris did a great job listening to my needs and focusing on those throughout the session. The facility is really modern and well kept. Felt very high end. Not a very high end price though! I though it was a reasonable price having gotten many massages through the city and suburbs.
I’ve been giving Art of Touch my business for 4 years now. The atmosphere is so calming as soon as you walk into the door. They validate your parking and are always very kind and easy to speak with at the front desk. Jordan is very professional, kind, and great at massage. I would highly recommend him. They never rush me out of the door so I can relax and gather myself following my massage. Be sure to check out the beautiful art while there! Thank you again. 🙏🏼☀️❤️
I love coming here and receiving my massages from Lovelace! I always leave feeling rejuvenated and renewed. Self love is so important. The place is such a Jewel!!! Thanks😘
Wonderful experience! The ambience of the space is beautiful and calming, and everyone was very welcoming. Kat was an excellent massage therapist - I don’t get massages often and she made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The massage was very grounding and relaxing, and I felt a huge weight lifted when I got up from the table. Kat has a deep understanding of the brain/body connection and really knows how to guide you through releasing built-up tension. Afterwards the manager Shukura was very friendly checking me out, and asked how my experience was. So glad I booked an appointment here - will definitely be back!
This was my first time at The Art of Touch Therapeutic Massage Center, I received amazing services. The atmosphere was plesant, breathtaking, astonishing and amazing. The Customer service front desk Receptionist were awesome and kind. The space and rooms were so spacious. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Kera who was incredibly nice... I received my massage from Taryn and she was awesome. I will definitely be back and Im telling everyone that this Massage place is the pplace to come. Thank you for your awesome service.
Naeema is my absolute favorite! I met Amerah today at the front desk and she was wonderful as well. I have been coming here for years now and so thankful to have found them!
This place is amazing all the Massage Therapist here are well educated. The manager Shakeria goes above and beyond. She gave me a tour just walking by and this art gallery and massages are a great combo. I will return.
I had an excellent experience from beginning to end. Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere was very calming. Anita was awesome she did an excellent job. Her energy was very sweet which allowed me to relax. I definitely will be back I drove from Augusta it was worth it.
WOW, THAT WAS BAD. Sherlene literally spent an hour running her elbow up my back. I had scheduled 2 hours of deep tissue and had to get up halfway through. It was almost a joke how bad it was. For how much they want to charge, youd think theyd hire people who put in some effort. I told her I was experiencing neck pain, and she never once used her fingers on my neck. It might just be this one therapist, but Im not going to pay that kind of money to risk it. Id recommend trying another place. They obviously lean into the location and nice waiting areas to lure people in. The ladies at the desk were nice enough, but I can find good conversation at Starbucks. I was there to get a top-notch massage and left extremely disappointed.
This is a really nice place, centrally located in midtown and also doubles as a well decorated art gallery. Ren is a spectacular therapist and wonderful person, she is so good with fixing trigger points, neck and shoulder work, and deep tissue massage generally. Everyone at the front desk is really warm and friendly, including the manager Shakira who is super helpful and great to talk to.
Beautiful clean space. I had a great massage with Chris. I’ll be back!
Very professional and clean. The manager was very nice and treated us well. The massages went so well I couldn’t believe one hour had gone by. It was my second time there with my partner and we will be back for sure!!!!!
I’ve been all about Art of Touch since I moved to ATL a couple of years ago. Each therapist is excellent but I got to give a specific call out to “Ginger the Genie”! She actually is magic and her 2 hour massage was nothing short of a journey that put the icing on my birthday celebration cake! Also got to uplift manager Shukura!! The schedule that day was uncommonly booked early for my birthday but she knew it was my day and wanted to make sure it was special for me so she did her managerial magic and made arrangements to get me this specific 2 hour session. Shukura you are the best and keep the Art of Touch a spot that gets better with time.See you both again soon!
Amerah was so nice. The couples massage was really relaxing! Yummy cookies too while you wait.
Fantastic experience - I was in ATL for a work trip and was dealing with a severely pulled muscle. I had very limited time open with my work schedule, but Shakira was incredible in doing her best to find me a time to get in and get a massage. My massage was fantastic and allowed me to push through two more days of meetings. Highly recommend paying them a visit!
Over the years this has become the only place to get dedicated treatment. Top 5 of all experiences, over past 15 years!Joanna is very professional, and Erica assisted in booking the precise appointment needed. Dont hesitate to book here!
Best massage I ever had. Manager Shukuria checked me out and her personality is top tier. I can’t wait to come back for Naema massage therapist.
Kathy thank you for your help. My back feels much better! That place is very well kept and the woman working the desk was also extremely friendly and took pride with the local artwork all throughout the floor.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE *The Art Of Touch Massage & Spa* Great location, atmosphere was VERY welcoming, nice, clean #Perfect. Customer Service was loving and on point (from the desk assistant to the office manager *Ms. Shukura Moss*), then I got to meet my masseus *Ms. Sherlene Cothron* I received a 90 min deep tissue massage with added services: aromatherapy, hot stone, and muscle tension. When I say the ABSOLUTE BEST Birthday gift my kids couldve ever treated me to, and its must that Ill be going back soon... ASAP! THANK YOU GUYS FOR EVERYTHING AND MAKING THIS BIRTHDAY ONCE IN A LYFETYME ‼️🥰♍️💘🙏🏾👸🏾🫶🏾
I have thought about writing this review for a while now. I cannot find an email for the owner or manager on their website so I am going to post this feedback here. I used to be a client before Covid and had not been back for a massage since Covid. I finally made an appointment in mid June 2023. The therapist met me and asked if I had any particular issues. I told her I had not received a massage in a while and I had a lot of knots and pain in my upper back and neck. She didnt seem all that interested in what I had to say. We started the massage and within 5 minutes I was in a lot of pain from her massage. Throughout the hour, I kept flinching, pulling back my arms, breathing loudly, and constantly said oh god. She never once stopped to say are you ok? or is this too much? or any sort of acknowledgement. The therapist was so rough and given that I dont have much experience with deep tissue massages, I thought that maybe it is supposed to hurt to this extent. Well, after the massage I could barely walk to the car. It hurt to sit in the car. My husband had to help me in and out of the car. I had to take ibuprofens for three days so I could sleep and basically move comfortably. I have since then learned that this massage experience was absolutely not normal. I gave three stars because before this incident I had good experiences at Art of Touch in previous years. I hope management reviews this and works with their therapists to be a little more client focused.
I really appreciate how easy everything was to get the massage, and Brittney did an amazing job for my first time with Art of Touch. She asked about pressure and comfort and I felt super comfortable the entire time. Would definitely come back!
This is a wonderful place to get a massage. Kat Daniel is an amazing massage therapist. She takes her work very seriously. When you get done with a massage from her, you will truly feel different, inside and out. I was having gallbladder problems. I went to see Kat. I have to say because of her she helped me feel like myself again. I would recommend her for anyone who just needs a path to relaxation and self care. She will be your guide. Definitely stop into Art of touch.
First ever massage, and Ill definitely be returning next month.Their space is beautiful, the parking garage is easy to access (and they provide super clear directions ahead of time and validate for 2hrs), and the staff are so friendly. And of course, my massage was amazing. The massage therapist asked a few questions before we got started and explained what she would be doing, which made me feel really comfortable. And it was 45 minutes of total relaxation. Cant wait to get back.
I get weekly massages all over the country because i travel for my job, and Naeema gave me hands down the best massage i’ve ever experienced. I can’t wait to come back, i cannot overstate how good this massage was - she took tremendous care focusing on my problem areas, and every manipulation felt deliberate and effective. 11/10, an absolutely incredible massage
I came in for my first ever massage this week. Staff was friendly and considerate. Kim was my therapist and she did a fantastic job, felt very relaxed and comfortable throughout the experience and was even asked if there were areas I’d like focused (back, shoulders, neck, etc.). Outside of the massage, there were some nice snacks and beverages available (I had the lavender tea) great art on the walls and a killer view of the town. I would definitely go back!
This was my first time here and seriously the best experience that I’ve ever had with getting a massage (the service and Maurice was amazing)!! You guys have a loyal customer in me! I already can’t wait to come back next month. ♥️♥️♥️
One of the best massages I have ever had. Ginger did a great job of targetting my tightest areas and even gave some recommendations to loosen up my joints at the end. Check-in was seamless and Shanika did a great job from start to finish.
My husband and I went for our first couples massage. The ambience was nice, very clean facility, staff is very nice. However, we both left the massage feeling as if we hadnt been massaged at all. The experience was relaxing, but for the amount of money you’ll be paying to leave still feeling tense, it’s not worth it. I asked for more pressure to be applied, but the firm pressure wasn’t sustained for the duration of my massage. Our experience here being it was our first time did not meet our expectations. Personally I wouldn’t recommend anyone here. I feel you can get a better bang for your buck else where.
I love the place. Bri was great. And left relaxed and pain free.
Massages range from excellent, to not bad, to bruising and punishment. I was scheduled for a Shiatsu therapist, and got a pretty decent massage (with oil), but NOT Shiatsu. You may not get the person you booked with. You may not be on the books at all, even though you scheduled at the time of your last massage. Scheduling and continuity of service are the weakest links at this business. Most everyone has been pleasant and no one was rude - maybe just a bit flat. It could be so much better, but it seems like management has lost enthusiasm for the business side of it.
Beautiful location and very relaxing. Great staff and service. Shout out to Sherlene!
Awesome Experience! When you walk in, the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. My massage therapist Christina, was amazing! She was very thorough, asked lots of questions to identify my needs and made sure I was okay throughout my session. She identified presssure points I didn’t even know existed!!! The space doubles as an art gallery, so you get to browse at great art before and/or after your session. They also have a balcony with seating for you to relax after your session. Great place and I highly recommend.
Really enjoyed Maurices services today. Just wish he had more availability like on Saturdays. The facility is very clean. The art on the walls is so relaxing and adds a special touch to the ambiance. This was my 2nd visit.
I was having an absolutely horrible day and suffering from an absolutely horrific headache and my massage from Jeff truly helped turn things around. It was so relaxing and really worked out tension in my head and neck. I’ve been looking for a regular spot in Midtown and I’ve absolutely found it! I also appreciate how reasonable their prices are.
Satisfied with their service. I came in for a prenatal massage, the masseuse was very gentle, I asked her to focus on specific areas which she did. Then I booked a deep tissue massage for my husband, he was glad he went because he has a lot of backpains and muscle aches. They will handle business too and work with you, we were running late for our session they got us rescheduled right away. I like too that we dont have to pay for parking, they validate the tickets. The atmosphere and overall vibes is very calming.🌟 🌟 🌟 I purchased the CBD Peppermint Rosemary Massage oil and its done great things for me! I caught a viral cold from my toddler, I was stuffed up, body aches , headaches everything about being sick. So, I used the CBD oil to massage all over my body , I did this 2nights in a row. My sickness went away the 3rd day and it doesnt even feel like Ive been sick. Great product!P.S Please produce Gift boxes with your products because Ill definitely buy a few for the holidays!
Clean, nice music, beds and rooms are ok. Definitely overpriced! My bf got us a couple massage (gift card) and they charged me extra in my credit card because “prices went up” without any prior notice. So be careful with your credit cards charges! There are so many great places and better prices - We won’t go back!
I have been to The Art of Touch twice and I will continue to come back! The therapists are extremely professional and thorough with their work and then even consult with you afterwards. The waiting area is very clean and spacious. All in all, I enjoyed my massage and will definitely be coming back.
I’ve seen quite a few therapists and the ones that really stand out that I definitely recommend are Naeema, Kim, Maurice, Bee, Tanya, Anita, Ginger, and Chris. Kat is also good but more of a therapeutic therapist so to each their own but if you’re seeking something therapeutic emotionally and physically she’s the best therapist to see. Everyone I’ve named above are all so amazing and have great energy, but other therapists are very good as well. The ladies as receptionist are also very sweet and kind and the space is beautiful.
Made my first reservation here based off of google reviews and I was pleasantly surprised! Immediately, booked a follow up appointment with Jordan.
I havent really been to too many massage/spa places, but this one still feels top of the line to me. Its clean, spacious, friendly, clam, everything you could want. Every masseuse I have had has been excellent, I dont think I have ever had a bad or even a mediocre experience here. Every time I go I leave feeling refreshed and like it was well worth the time and money.
Love this place for prenatal massages. I did my first and second one ever here. My therapist Faith has always made me feel relaxed. There were no scents in the oils they use. One thing to note. If you are late, your session is still going to end on time, so make that $100 worth it and be on time so you get the most from your money. I fell asleep during my last massage, that speaks for itself. I only wish they had better massage packages. I dont need 8 massages for $600+, I just need 3! Please please make better package options.
I never had a problem until today when I asked what can be done to reschedule a birthday appointment that I paid for in advance, because we had a bad event happen to us this morning and we could not make the session today. I asked for both managers and was told that neither was available but then was put on hold, for the person to tell me, sounds like she was repeating back whoever was in the background talking to her, that they can only give me the tip back($20), which its crazy because I asked to see what could be done about rescheduling because of what has happened happen but it was dead silence on the phone when I asked...then she put me on hold.. I did ask for the manager, Amira and Shukura 2x, but was told they was unavailable to speak with about the situation. I would have been happy just to be rescheduled then just getting $20.00 back! Horrible way to handle things, because it surely sounded like she didnt want to deal with it and you could honestly tell she didnt want to at least try to help in this situation.
Massage was awful. Pressure was bad and the masseus kept pausing. I informed her to increase pressure and to be more continuous but it still wasn’t good overall. The receptionist was concerned when i voiced my dissatisfaction and she did give me a discount which was nice but overall DO NOT get Ren. A complete waste of time and money
Such a wonderful place! My massage from Umang was great, and he really paid attention to all of my needs. My back and shoulders feel so much better now. The Art of Touch itself is in a gorgeous location in Midtown, with bright windows, wonderful staff, and delicious refreshments. I recommend it to anyone who needs a massage.
Always welcoming, massage therapists are great, definitely worth it!
Not a fan of their cancellation policy; they charge you the full service amount if you cancel less than 24 hours. I would imagine they would provide some time of leniency considering it was my first time canceling and I was unaware of the policy and I also stated to them that I wasn’t feeling well. But still got charged. Aside from that, the place itself has a great ambiance and my massage therapist, B, did an amazing job. However, might still eventually end up finding a new massage location because of lack of communication and customer service.
Beautiful space, great massage therapists, really kind staff. 6/5
Amazing massages! Taryn was great and Amerah at the front was really nice and patient!
*edit*Management called me immediately to address my experience. I’m being blown away by their amazing customer service. I’m looking forward to going back and giving someone else there a try. Based on how well they handled my concerns I needed to updates my review.Honestly, I didn’t know if I was going to post this because I hate leaving bad reviews but I’m lying here trying to sleep and just so upset I wasted money here today. It was by far the worst massage of my life and I get them fairly frequently but I’m new to this area and my friend suggested it. Everyone at the desk was nice and even my massage therapist was nice but I didn’t need her to be nice. I needed her to be effective. I booked a deep tissue massage because I hold all my stress in my shoulders and I have an issue where if it doesn’t have enough pressure, I can’t even feel it. I explained this to my therapist and told her what areas to focus on. Not only did she not focus on the areas but she hardly massaged me at all and I couldn’t even feel her hands on me at one point. She’d softly rest her hands on me and just leave them there. At one point I thought she might have fallen asleep with her hands just resting on me. So, I asked for more pressure (as a way to guide her but also to make sure she was actually awake. I promise she had her hands on my back doing nothing for a full three minutes) She replied, “I took two courses one where you didn’t apply any pressure more than the weight of a nickel and one myofascial, which is more aggressive, and honestly the nickel one relaxed me more.” Well, when I explained that I literally couldn’t feel anything and I needed to be rubbed deeper. She told me that those muscle shouldn’t be rubbed aggressive to be relaxed. Ugh, I reminder… I literally booked a deep tissue massage. She took the last 2 minutes to kinda jiggle my shoulder blades aggressively and explain why there was tension there. Then, the massage was over with literally all the tension left because when I say THIS WOMAN RESTED HER HAND ON MY BACK LIKE A SLEEPING CHILD WOULD UPON THEIR MOTHER… I am not exaggerating. I literally wasted my entire hour and my money there and I’m more upset now than when I walked in there. I’m upset I went there and I’m upset I didn’t speak to someone while on the spot but I was just so confused when I walked out about what just happened I didn’t know what to say. A friend was with me and she said she had a great massage. So it could have just been my therapist but either way my money is gone and my back definitely was not rubbed. It was the most wild experience. If you try this location my biggest key of advice would be to not get Ren as your therapist. I’m just so disappointed. :(
GINGER IS AWESOME!! I had a 2 hour massage with Ginger while I was in town visiting friends. She used the perfect amount of pressure, and I would highly recommend her!
On 4/22/2023 I received a 60 minute massage from Ren. She is absolutely outstanding! She expertly applied a mix of deep tissue, Swedish, and lymphatic massage techniques throughout the massage. I left feeling wonderful.
This is a great massage therapy center. Ive been twice to this location and pleased with what Ive experienced thus far. Brittany, she is a great therapist. She understand connectivity and pressure points very well. Ive been to other therapists and I usually feel slightly dissatisfied from the treatment I get. Pricing is fairly on point since the treatment is A1. You can find a few other cheaper therapy locations but you wont get the service. With some of my sports related ailments, Brittany is really helping with correcting my pain.
I had a one hour deep tissue massage with Naeema and it was fantastic! I tend to store my stress in my neck/shoulder muscles and Naeema worked out all the knots! I feel like a new person :)
I booked a 90 min sports massage with sherlene and it was so worth it. I have 2 slipped disks and have to get massages monthly. I’ve gotten massages in multiple states but I’m currently residing in jacksonville, Fl. I’m telling you out of countless massages I’ve been getting 1-2 a month for 7 years. I truly believe this is the best massage I’ve ever had. Literally weeping that I don’t live in Atlanta :( make sure you book with her for 90 minutes because 60 would just be a tease :)
The VERY best massage experience, I’ve ever had. The place had a very relaxed and welcoming vibe. The customer service was fantastic. Cat did my massage and was very attentive to my needs. After my massage was over, I was able to relax and sit in the open area with a view of the city. DEFINITELY coming back, when I’m in town! Thank you all so much!
This is my go to for my monthly massage. It’s very conveniently located in midtown so you can grab a snack before or after. The manager has been on site every time I’ve visited which shows how much they value feedback. And, the ambiance is awesome.
My therapist Rene was awesome. She is very skilled in her technique. She takes time in the areas that need it. As a person who get massages often when I was here in ATL I was skeptical but it was a Great experience.
Special shout out to my girl amerah she was super nice 😊 and very helpful for me and my man she was very patient with us and made sure we was satisfied the environment was super clean and nice will be back soon
I’ve had two massages here, the first one was like an average massage, he listened to where I needed focus. The second time I went in, I told the lady that I really needed focus in my back because I’m an ICU nurse and lifting a lot at work. I think she got mad at me telling her to focus on my back because she then did the opposite telling me that I needed focus on everything else snd only rubbed my back for 1/4 of the time and instead told me along the lines of “I’ve been doing this for ten years, I think I know what I’m doing” when asking for focus on my back. And even when she went to my extremities to rub, she was just basically petting my legs telling me my calves were really sore… like duh I jump rope at the gym and did leg day this week, of course my calves are gonna be tight. Needless to say I walked out feeling like not anything on my back was rubbed as much as I needed it. I was almost in tears I was so frustrated at the end of the massage. After her retort with my the first time asking for focus on my back, I was too afraid to ask her again.I will say I really like their website though, makes it easy to schedule. But just upset with how the massages have went so far….
I got a massage by Julia and she is amazing! The facilities were very nice, relaxing and clean. Love that it doubles as an art gallery! The lady at the front desk was also really kind. Julia did such a great job. She payed attention to the details of where I needed things worked out the most. I didnt feel rushed at all which I love. Also at the end Julia gave great recommendations for things I should do at home to keep improving my back. I really valued that they just didnt try to sell me my next visit and seemed to genuinely care for my problem areas! Ill be back!
I’ve tried several massage places in atl + Art of Touch is by far the best! I always find myself coming back here. The space is very cozy and welcoming + ever therapist I’ve had has been so great!
Ive only dealt with a single therapist here but she is amazing! I go once a month for a 90 minute session and always leave feeling better. The rooms are all themed, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are always friendly and in good spirit. They validate your parking if required and have package specials for 60+ minute sessions.
Check-in was quick. Front desk worker was very polite. The facility is nice and clean. My masseuse Jeffrey was very unfriendly.
I absolutely had an amazing experience my body feels like new body and I will definitely come back with my Fianceè and making an appointment for my mom. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and Shakira the manager is very nice and informational.
My friend and I both bought memberships here. And we love to come on the water and hangout with each other. I feel like we have some of our best conversations on the water.
I went to this massage center on a Sunday and did a couples massage with my best friend. We were traveling back home on this day and thought going for a massage to end our trip would be relaxing, it was far from it. My massage therapist was horrible. She spent 60 minutes rubbing lotion into my skin. There was no massage. I asked her to go harder and she continued at the same level. I told her I had a lot of tension in my neck and she ended up rubbing tons of lotion into my arms. I was confused and unimpressed. My best friend did not enjoy her therapist either. We left out wondering if Sundays are for newbies. The facility is really nice, but that was about it. I did not enjoy any of it AT ALL! It was by far the worst massage I have ever gotten.
Everyone was super nice and inviting. the manager of the place personally greeted me and made feel at home. it was my first time getting a message and i will definitely be back when i get to atlanta again. neovana is now my go to.
This place gives the best massages Ive ever had. Ive gone here twice and had two different massage therapists and they were both amazing. The massage is extremely thorough and they really listened to what I wanted. I came in with a stiff neck and now I feel so much better. The place is very nice and calming and the staff is super friendly. I would recommend anyone to come here.
I would give zero stars if I could. My therapist no showed. I had an appointment at 10am and arrived 15 minutes early. At 10:10 I went to check in with the front staff to see what was going on. Apparently my therapist hadn’t arrived yet, although the front staff communicated nothing with me. It seemed like they called my therapist, who didn’t answer and then told me I’d have to reschedule without even apologizing. Absolutely terrible customer service. They have lost my business because of the front desk staff. My advice to this business owner is to do some training for the staff.
Flew in from out of town and found them on Google on a whim. Soooo incredibly glad I came. Absolutely gorgeous + large space! So clean and aesthetically pleasing. I will definitely be back! They only had availability for a 30 minute session but it was incredible. Thank you so much! My deep tissue massage was amazing!
This was my first time getting a massage and it was perfect. My boyfriend and I went to get a couples massage and it was so relaxing. The made sure pressure was to my liking, lighting was just dark enough for relaxing and the sounds were perfect. I highly recommend this place. They also have great COVID-19 regulations.
Pretty disappointed in my experience here - I feel like I paid for an expensive relaxation / meditation session instead of an actual massage. I realize this is likely the style of the therapist but I wish I had been informed about this prior to the session. If you’re looking for a real couple’s massage, my recommendation is to go elsewhere.
Omg. I hadnt had a massage since before the pandemic. My regular place was booked and I was lucky to get an appointment at Art of Touch. Brittany was my therapist and her hands are blessed. She applied the perfect amount of pressure to my tight muscles and stiff joints. I left feeling so relaxed and booked appointment for next month. Im not sure Ill be going back to my regular place.
I visited The Art of Touch for the first time last week. The atmosphere is calming and classy, accented by pleasant aromas and beautiful views through numerous floor to ceiling windows. The staff was very professional, friendly, and on their game. I received a 90 minute deep tissue massage in a spacious room with scented oils and relaxing music. Jeen, my therapist, was extraordinary. She had the perfect touch and shortly into my massage, I began to feel like I was floating above the table, Jeen made me feel completely relaxed, kept me covered, and I never felt uncomfortable while she was massaging me. At times, it felt like she had at least three hands. I felt so relaxed before, during, and after my massage, so glad I went with a 90 minute session. I highly recommend a trip to the The Art of Touch!!
Not accommodating. Ive recommended this place based on yelp/google reviews to my friends and family multiple times who all enjoyed it, but my first personal experience was poor. I was running late due to traffic and called the office to tell them and essentially got only 15 minutes out of my fully paid 30 minutes ($65). Things happen and I wished they either charged me for the actual time I got on the table or moved my appointment, but neither was an option. At the end of the day, this is a business and they will take your money regardless. Im giving it 2 star because message was great, but the massager literally had my time down to the second. Will not be coming back nor recommending again. Great looking space otherwise.
Awesome therapiststhat are trained in deep tissue neuromuscular and serious about helping people! The place is spacious and gorgeous! You can have a tea or coffee on the outside patio and clean filtered water. The owner takes pride into the decor and putting fresh flowers. I wouldnt go anywhere else and will be back.As a massage therapist myself Im picky and feel home here. Thank you for helping me.
Wonderful space with fabulous massage therapists. Just double-check at check-in, that your appointment is for the amount of time you scheduled. I scheduled a 60 minute massage in person while purchasing gift cards. During checkout a week later, I was alerted that I owed for a 90 minute massage. This was extremely awkward to deal with and the receptionist wasnt apologetic. Theres no length indicator on their email and texts confirms, so no way to prove a scheduling error.
Amazing place! They were kind enough to fit me in for a last minute appointment today when I was in a lot of pain and discomfort. I literally feel like a different person than I was before my appointment earlier. Massage is a powerful healing modality - both physically & emotionally, that should be covered by insurance so all can afford it. I was seriously suffering for the last week and this has helped tremendously with my shoulder discomfort and anxiety.
Ive been coming to Art of the Touch for several years now. They are amazing! Especially for prenatal massages, I always leave feeling so much better. Amanda has been a lifesaver this pregnancy! I can actually walk without pain after I leave. Highly recommend!!
Incredible experience. This place is amazing. It has a posh waiting area and balcony, massage rooms that are insanely spacious, and I received the best deep tissue massage. Plus, they give the full hour rather than cutting it short at 50 minutes. The pricing is as competitive as I’ve seen for high end places in Atlanta. Did I mention that they also accept my HSA card. That saves another 30%!! I won’t go anywhere else in Atlanta after going to The Art of Touch.
Jamie at Art of Touch is a godsend. I had a terrible shoulder injury that nothing was helping and after one full hour session with her it felt 100% better. I did a second appointment and she did not disappoint. The atmosphere is soothing and clean. They are very sweet and provide plenty of drinks, etc.I highly recommend their services!
I love this place! Their new location is lovely - bright and airy with quiet and comfortable massage rooms. Ive seen Kristen once a month for about 3 years for my fibromyalgia and her hands are healing! The staff at the front and answering the phones are always helpful and friendly. Once a year in the summer they have their anniversary special - if you buy a package during this time, your massages will be about the same as Massage Envy. I would highly recommend Art of Touch for high quality massage!
Today i was fortunate enough to get a massage from Shelly she was a true professional. Work and working out on a consistent basis leaves my muscles tight and tense. her stretching techniques helped my lower back and hip pain tremendously! The facility was conveniently located. The decorations are very inviting and calm like a relaxing art gallery. This was one of the best massages experiences Ive had in Atlanta and will definitely be going back!
Renee was wonderful. I felt so relaxed afterward. I’ve been getting sport massages for over four years as a runner and weight lifter. I prefer firm pressure and Renee did wonders on my muscles, especially my back. She responded to my wants and what my body needed. The space itself is so welcoming and clean and I loved the themed rooms. I definitely recommend Art of Touch!
Don’t mess up your scheduling. My calendar didn’t update the time change so I missEd the appointment. Told me I can reschedule but I’m charged regardless. Figured I’d rather pay 150 for a massage than 100 for nothing. Was able to get in the next day. Was met by Faith, who upon looking at me rolled her eyes and was very despondent. Felt like she didn’t want to be giving me a massage. Not exactly the kind of feeling you want. The massage was pretty pleasant - extremely firm and deep. Which thankfully I needed but it was intense. There was little to zero communication between us.A true 2/5 experience, a 3.5 out of 10.
I just had a couples massage here with my boyfriend. My therapist - I believe she went by Chris - was absolutely perfection. At first, when we were greeted - I thought she was a little quiet and stand-off-ish. But when she got to work I realized that she is just absolutely a consummate professional. I really can’t describe how good she was, she just knew - instinctively - exactly how much pressure was needed, and where. Loved it.
Lovely experience! Super clean and comforting space with great customer service. They also have free parking and a student discount :)
Great experience! I visited Art of Touch, with a serious lower back pain which was making me stiff , however my massage therapist named Kim worked wonders on me. I feel a 100% better,Kims techniques are awesome! And plus the place is very clean . I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a therapeutic massage .... You wont be disappointed.
I had a wonderful experience with Sherlene today. Shakira and Amerah at the front desk were so welcoming and helpful. I can’t wait to come back in a few weeks! Thanks!
The success of businesses like this one is determined by their staff and Tanya is the best in the business and theyre lucky to have her. I know she has tons of regulars but if youre looking for the best, be sure to book with her.
My experience with AOT was good. I had a deep tissue massage from Ginger who did a great job. Ginger targeted the areas that were bothering me the most and I felt so much better afterwards. I was greeted by the Manager Ms. Shukura who was very professional, personable and kind that made my overall experience amazing. I highly recommend AOT and will be back again.
I have been having awful tightness with my shoulders and it’s been effecting my sleep. I got a deep tissue massage with Kim and I’ve been sleeping like a baby since. I thought massages were a “luxury” but I see it’s a necessity. They take HSA and FSAUpdate: I should’ve waited on Kim but I instead decided to go with Sherlene. Bad idea. Didn’t care for her attitude or how loud she once once my massage was over. I am booking for next week to meet with Kim bc my shoulder doesn’t feel any better. Wait for Kim.
My fiance and I visited the art off touch yesterday evening and we both loved it! We loved the late evening appointments. Our massage therapist were very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely visit again. By the way they are moving to a different location in September.
I get massages regularly and this is one of the best experiences and values around. Very friendly staff and a clean, comfortable space with large rooms. Cool lounge area and balconies as well. My massage was excellent. My therapist (Jennifer) listened to my issues and delivered a relaxing yet therapeutic massage. Will be back.
The massage I received was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend you to contact the massage services and schedule an event for your next massage.
I booked an hour and a half deep tissue massage and was nervous because I usualy tell massage therapists 9 out of 10 pressure and to practically step on my back, but always end up getting 6/10 and leave slightly dissapointed (which is 100% my fault for not saying anything because I assume the pressure will fluctuate through the appointment/social anxiety). However, Chris B DELIVERED. I have never left a massage feeling like my back was taken care of like bread dough, being kneaded to carbohydrate perfection. Those who enjoy deep tissue massages know that after youll feel satisfyingly tender, and now it is the next day and my back feels like it got in a fight (and won obviously) and I cant wait to go back. Immediately booked a follow up appointment with Chris.Thank you Chris and thank you Art of Touch Massage for providing me some relief!
My experience today was the worst massage I ever had. I get massages about 7-8 times a year for the past 6 years always deep tissue. The therapist Christian was HORRIBLE!!!!! She was not pleasant when she greeted me. Very abrupt, Ive only ever had pleasant and calming therapist before her. She asked me my problem areas and areas I wanted to concentrate on. I told her my upper back and shoulders also told her that therapist in the past mentioned my calfs as a tension area. She still seemed disinterested but I figured maybe shell do a good job anyway. Christian proceeded to spend 70 of my 90 minute massage pressing on trigger points on my feet and glutes. 20 minutes of lightly rubbing my upper back, arms, and shoulders which was the areas I distinctly stated where my desired target areas. She then asked how I felt at the end I told her I actually felt horrible. I told the young girl at the desk my experience was the worst massage ever and explained why. She said she will tell the manager. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY/BUYER BEWARE!!! What is the point of looking like a good spa if the the masseuse is HORRIBLE.
Disappointing. I hate to write a bad review but I also hate to waste money. The space was inviting, quiet and my reception was perfect but I am a new client and finding the right masseuse can be tough. My main issue is that I scheduled a deep tissue and also noted in the chart (also to the masseuse directly) where my problem area was located. Not only did I not receive a deep massage but my focus area was barley touched. I was patient and hopeful that my area would be addressed in time, that never happened. In the past, I have frequently been asked during a massage if the pressure is too much or too little or if they are in the right spot but none of that occurred. I wish they had a bio section online for each masseuse listing their experience and specialties, this may of helped in choosing. As for now, Ill ask around in this new city in hopes of finding what I had in my previous city, a great masseuse.
I love being rubbed on lol. Like, seriously. I love a good massage and Jada gave me one of the best Swedish massages Ive ever had. All my knots were rubbed out and I almost fell asleep on the massage table which is the trademark of a great massage if you ask me. The receptionists were very professional and our massage time (couples massage) was spot on with our reserved time. The prices are not over the top and the atmosphere is awesome.GO! Thats all I can say.... GO NOW!! If you value your body and want to rid if of all the accumulated stress youve put on it, you will heed my advice.
Weve had great massages here, but the desk staff is snippy to the point of it being a major detractor. They make simple requests feel like huge inconveniences for them. (Ex. I asked to book a massage for my wife for V-Day, but not to have them send her the notification until after V-Day. Youd think Id asked them to bend over backwards. Not a friendly or fun experience.)
My husband brought me here as a SWEET surprise this morning. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a peaceful ambiance, the smell of essential oils, and the nicest front desk receptionist. She made sure to give us a full run down of everything and got us checked in.Once we’d conpleted our paperwork, we were greeted by two massage therapists and bright back to our room.It was very serene and the meditation music was a nice touch.Because I’m pregnant, my table was already prepared for me to get comfortable on my side instead of my belly. My therapist was AMAZING & did wonderfully at keeping me covered the entire time.I almost fell asleep.lol.After our massage was finished, the ladies stepped out so my husband and I could get dressed and waited outside of our door with water and after care instructions. The place doubles as an art gallery, so we walked around until we found a beautiful balcony overlooking the city.We sat for awhile, finished our water, & looked for a place to have brunch. Then we checked out and enjoyed the rest of our day. What a magickal experience ✨❤️
Kim and Kat were awesome therapists!I did a couple session with my women and she loved it.Jen did an amazing job of getting us prepared. If you need any massages, this is the place to go!
Very professional and clean space. Therapist doing the holistic massage was great. Her name was Ren. Bought a gift card for my husband because I think he’ll enjoy it as much as I did!
I booked an appointment this week with Shelley as I was suffering from a week long terrible back pain. I found this place via my google search and based on great reviews I decided to give it a try as my regular massage place didnt have an opening for the same day. Shelly was awesome! I saw immediate results. Next day Im already feeling much better.
The environment here is awesome and Valerie is the best deep tissue masseuse ever! Ive been to other places in the area at similar prices and Art of Touch is way better.
Just got done with my massage and I feel so relieveddddd. I cant even began to describe what it did for me espescially during these times. Very much needed! I can assure you that they are doing their part to follow guidelines regarding everything thats going on. The space is so clean and sanitary. Highly recommended! Oh and my therapist name was Stephanie. She was awsome! She was so attentive and had exceptional service.
So serene as you walk in, ample parking, nice bathroom and sitting area. My massage started about 2-3 mins late, which was fine. But Jerman (sp?) was AMAZING. She found problem spots, as this is my first massage, so I had no idea how many issues I had. I did an hour and it went by so fast, wish I had done more. She was great, relaxing music, dark room. She was very good about talking when I asked a question, but also letting me relax when I didnt want to talk.Definitely going back. Dont really want to try any other place.
I go here every month. Love the atmosphere, the staff are friendly, & the massage therapists know what theyre doing. Ginger is the best.
Ashley!!!!!!Ok first of all, let me tell you I live in New Jersey and my mother was traveling to Atlanta to see her sisters for her 64th birthday. my parents work super hard and literally never ever get to take vacation. So my aunts decided to buy her an airline ticket to come hang out with them for her birthday. So I decided to organize a spa day for the ladies. Its a bit hard when you dont live close by but Ashley came to the rescue. I explained to her the importance of the occasion and the fact that this was my moms first trip. I told her I wanted to make it special especially because we could not be there with her. When I was trying to figure out how to get a bottle of wine to their spa, Ashley offered to walk across the street to get a bottle of wine. she done spoke to the owner of the spa and they decided to gift my mom two bottles of wine and have some goodie bags for her and her sisters. Never in my life including at 4 Star resorts, have I had an experience like this one. Beyond this exceptional service, my family said that there massages were incredible. I think the entire family at the art of touch for making it such a beautiful and memorable for the most important lady in my life. If I could give it a hundred Stars I would. I hope you get to experience what I did.
The place was great but the message was poor. My therapist hardly applied any pressure and I had asked for medium firm. She also seemed to be in a rush and the lotion was cold it gave me goose bumps. Finally, most people weren’t that friendly. I smiled and said hi to couple people and they completely ignored me.Maybe it was a one off but I’m not likely to go back.
The facility is nice, but my massage was beyond mediocre. It was my anniversary so I booked a couples massage. The room we were in was cold unfortunately my massage table was right under the vent & the oil they use to massage was COLD! It made my massage very uncomfortable, the massage table wasnt heated either. I had high hopes but Ive definitely had better massages
DO. NOT. BOOK. WITH. JAMIE! Seriously the worst massage Ive ever had in my life. My back was sore at first (normal pregnancy pains) but now i am in extreme pain. She dug into my back with her finger tips the entire time! She spent no time on my legs! I am so upset and have scheduled an appointment with a chiropractor to try and fix what she has ruined! I cant lift my arms above my head without a sharp pain striking through my upper back. I told her i was uncomfortable .... she did nothing! I told her she was hurting me .... she did nothing! All she did was blame everything on me being pregnant! DO. NOT. BOOK. WITH. JAMIE!
I absolutely love this place. If youre looking to relax, unwind, and fall asleep, this is the spa for you. My massuse understood the strength I wanted and within a few min I found myself falling asleep to her touch. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing and everyone there was very curteous.
On a short trip from out of town and found this place on google based on reviews. It did not disappoint. Sherlene was awesome! She applied just the right amount of pressure.
Went for the first time tonight for a deep tissue massage and it was great! Naima (hopefully I got the spelling right) did an amazing job working through some of my chronic problem areas. Nice atmosphere too. Cant wait to go back!
Barely adequate. As a 55 year-old man, I’ve had hundreds and hundreds of massages. The price is good for 75 or 90 minutes, but you get what you pay for. Young clueless girls are giving you your massages. I’ve given them two shots now, I’m done...
Great experience. Kat was friendly and her work was superb. 10/10
I went in with severe neck and shoulder pain and had such an incredible massage with Brandon. He was very thorough and I felt amazing afterwards. I would recommend him 100%. I will definitely be returning to see him!
Ginger was a great masseuse. She was very professional and accommodating.
Been twice here so not a big sample, the music is serene, the place is clean and overall it has a good vibe, but for me, to be honest the 2 massages have been sub par. Maybe it was bad luck or even me with high expectations but will not risk a 3rd one.
I had an amazing massage from Andrea tonight. My back immediately felt better after my session. She listened to my needs and focused on my problem areas. It was exactly what I wanted! Highly recommended.
The Art of Touch is the number one massage center in Atlanta! This center is run by staff members that truly care about their customers and do everything to make their experience perfect. The inside is decorated to perfection and it is extremely clean! I highly recommend The Art of Touch Therapeutic Massage Center to anyone looking for a spa in the Metro Atlanta area.
Thank you all for your honest comments about this place. We (10 couples) are looking to find a massage spa in our area that will be able to accommodate us quarterly and we are not looking for handouts. We are professionals who need a break once in awhile. But it seems that this area is vastly growing in business but are not looking to achieve the customer satisfaction with its clientele(client retention). This is not the only business in this area that Ive been to or have read about where they have no customer satisfaction! We are finding that just becuse its in a popular area doesnt mean its right for you or your money! This place is really close to home but it seems that the management is only responding to the positive feedback people are leaving. NOT GOOD FOR OUTSIDERS LOOKING IN!Has anyone who posted something negative received a response on how this company is looking into correcting your dissatisfaction with them?... If not, Hold them accountable! As uou can see. Where there are negative reviews we dont see where management is looking into any of this or how they will fix it...Go Figure! Weve never used them and guess we wont be trying this place out either. 😞
I took the opportunity to visit The Art of Touch while visiting Atlanta recently. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff was very nice and professional, the facility, clean and comfortable and my therapist, Sarah E., was outstanding. I look forward to my next visit to the Atlanta area so I can make another appointment.
I booked a couples massage for my husband and I to enjoy while we were in Atlanta for our 1 year anniversary. Shannon and Greer were AMAZING! I wish that they were closer, but at least we know where to find them the next time we travel to Atlanta.
Very relaxing BUT my masseuse didn’t understand that the bed was cold due to the heating bad not being on. He didn’t ask about pressure points and gave a generic massage. I know I may seem small but I can take a lot more. Would’ve been nice if asked.
A team of great massage therapists who understand well how to dig in deep to tense muscles and when to use a gentler touch. Conveniently located in Midtown near a MARTA station, bus stops, and a connected parking garage.Art of Touch has been very good about staying clean and masking up during the COVID crisis.
Wonderful and relaxing experience! The staff was amazing, very thorough, beautiful setting inside lobby and massage areas. Will go here again when visiting in town!!
First time getting a massage. The facility was overall relaxing with beautiful art on the walls. The massage room was calming and the masseuse did a wonderful job finding my stress points
Came to see Anita after doing two weeks of dance training intensives. My muscles were in dire need of a good massage. Left feeling great and I highly recommend them!
We arrived late for the appointment because of rain and bad traffic. We were not told that we were going to be charged full price of the massage without getting the massage done. Not even missing a doctor’s appointment do you get charged full price! What a ripoff!
Ive been a regular to The Art of Touch for a couple years now. They do a great job and are reasonably priced, especially when you buy one of their 6 or 11 massage packages. Sarah E. is my go-to therapist, as she always gets it right!
The staff and the atmosphere are beyond excellent here. I’ll never get a massage anywhere else
Highly recommend The Art of Touch! Friendly and courteous staff and very skilled massage therapists - one of the best massages that Ive had in years. I look forward to being a customer for many years to come.
Excellent atmosphere, very relaxing and pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage.
Affordable, stellar quality massage, paid for 60 mins and got 60 mins of real massage time. Location is great, decor, relaxing balcony and post-massage areas. A+ all around nothing compares.
Incredible experience Pros: Very clean, relaxing, professional environment. The front desk ladies were incredibly upbeat, welcoming, and helpful. Parking is free with the front desks validation
Amazing experience I would recommend to anybody! The facility is beautiful and very clean and the massage made me wish I could come back every day. 11/10
Stephanie & Brittney are incredible!!! I am an athlete and my muscles are thanking the stars for how relaxed they are. The space is super clean & the staff are wonderful :)
Bee was absolutely A-MAZING! I went in for back pain and my back feels sooo much better, I was truly impressed with how much she was able to do for me in 45 min. Will definitely be returning
Ren is really good. She did an awesome job working my muscles and making them feel better.
Beautiful clean facility. I had an amazing massage there. I would go again when Im back in town.
Amazing space. Calm, clean, quiet and serene. All the staff are professional and very skilled. Each with their own special massage trick. Worth trying them all!
This is a great place for a massage. You need to call ahead for appointments. I usually get the deep tissue for one hour ($90). You can park in the deck or get street parking.
Wonderful massages in a great location in midtown. Definitely recommend!
I took my wife there for her birthday and she was not pleased with the service. She said worker did not know what she was doing. She said she would never go there again, ever!!!!
Really nice and relaxing massage. Nice waiting room with snacks and beverages. Thank you!
I love AoT! Great people and a plus they take FSA for packages. Naeema and Faith are both wonderful
The massage was just okay and the masseuse wasn’t very friendly. The receptionist was very polite and the parlor was nice and clean.
Amazing massage by Brittney highly recommend her. Had amazing pressure, very firm and consistent. Adjusted to all my needs.
Omg! Everything was wonderful. I was visiting from out of town and had a sciatica flare up. Best massage of my life...and I get a lot of massages! I was completely relieved.
Jamie has magic in her fingers. Book a massage with her for a great deep tissue experience. Worth every penny. Best massage Ive ever gotten.
I’ve been here many times and I love it! The space is absolutely beautiful and the therapists I’ve tried have all been amazing!
