The NOW Massage Buckhead

This place is a must-try! The ambiance is beautiful and the space is so well put together. I love how calming the environment is and how pleasantly fragrant the rooms are. I had the best massage with Kelly today. I booked the 80 prenatal massage and it was well worth it. Before, during and after the service Kelly kept making sure that I was comfortable… and I was. I will definitely book again in the future. Ashley at the front desk was also super helpful! Thank you all for the excellent customer service.

Leah did amazing during my stretch session with cupping and heat therapy. I definitely feel less tense and more flexible. She was also very nice, professional, and listened to my needs. I’ll be coming back and booking with her for sure. The front desk staff, Ashley and Zamia, are always nice and inviting each month I come as well as informative of any changes or updates regarding my membership. Overall, I’ll continue to come back here for quality service.

This was such a delightful experience, from sign up/booking to checking out from my massage. Joey welcomed me when I walked in and talked me through the Now experience and what to expect. He was so friendly. Kelly was my massage therapist and she was great. Asked me questions about areas of focus and pressure. It was all great! I can’t wait for the next one!

I frequently get massages and have tried most of the main places around the city. I’ve come to The Now multiple times now and it’s one of my favorites. Every therapist I’ve personally received has been great but I must say Raivon has been my personal favorite. tranquil environment, easy to book and friendly staff. The general manager Joey also does a wonderful job in taking care of all the guests. Strongly considering just getting the membership at this point.

Aesthetically, the spa is beautiful! The front desk host is very friendly and greets everyone warmly. My massage, however, left a lot to be desired. I literally told the therapist that everything hurt. Yet, for 50 minutes he focused on my back and shoulders with a few stretches thrown in. I’ve been to spas all over the world. I know a good spa experience when I experience it and this definitely was not that. I left in more pain than before I arrived. I probably won’t revisit. My friend who joined me said her experience was similar.

This place is truly special. The staff is so welcoming from the moment you walk in. Nicci gives an incredible massage. I always leave feeling relaxed, grounded, and genuinely cared for. Her attention to detail and the way she cares about her clients really make a difference. The atmosphere and the friendly team are what keep me coming back. SN: The candles are Ahmazing! My house always smells like spa. You can also use the candle as a lotion or massage oil.

Amazing massage! Everyone was very professional, and the place was clean and relaxing! Alonso was my masseuse, and he was attentive and skilled. He gave me a stretch to do to prevent tension from gathering in the same areas. Overall 5/5 experience, worth every penny.

My experience at The Now is ALWAYS fabulous! I’ve been a member for over a year, and I’m always treated so well! Crys and Zaria often greet me upon my arrival and take care of me until I get to the back and when I get out. Shay usually does my massages, and she’s the best ever!!! Very black girl friendly and super experienced!

This was my go to quick and relaxing massage spot, have never had a bad masseuse. I booked a 50 minute massage on a Friday evening and upon arrival, the receptionist let me know they were doing complimentary 80 minute massages for customers who booked 50 minutes on weekdays. I said “wow, I can switch to 80 minutes for free?” She said yes and I accepted. Had a great massage.I heard the receptionist on the phone using my full name before I came into the lobby. She asked me to leave a tip via tippy and let me know she’d be just a moment while she figured out how to apply to promo code for my massage. I then awkwardly stood there while her manager argued with her over the phone and clearly let her know the promotion wouldn’t be honored. She calmly spoke to her manager and explained the situation, and it never seemed they came to resolution. Finally they hung up and the receptionist let me know the code wouldn’t work but that I would still only be charged for the 50 minute massage that I booked. I said great, thank you, and went on my way!The next day I receive a call on my cell from the supervisor who is immediately condescending. She says she is calling to let me know she will only charge me for the 50 minute appointment I booked. I said yes, I was under the impression that was the case and I have a hold for the charge on my credit card dated yesterday. She says no they haven’t issued any charge yet and explains that the promotion they offered me is only valid Monday through Thursday and they should charge me for the 80 minutes. I reiterated I never booked 80 minutes, was offered additional minutes for free upon check in, and wasn’t sure why she was calling me.She interrupted me until she did finally let me speak to explain I saw the charge and just said “are you done?” “You’re going to let me talk now” and continued to drone on about issues that should have remained internal. I have never been spoken to this way as a happy, paying customer. I said this is a shame because I love this place and I won’t be coming back after a phone call that seemed completely unnecessary and like it would never end. I feel so badly for the poor receptionist who offered me the upgrade. This was the complete opposite of customer service.I’m really not sure why they decided to call me today with an attitude and lose a customer when I had already paid and left happily? So, so strange and disappointing. The supervisor has no customer service skills whatsoever. :(

I booked a pregnancy massage for my girlfriend for an appointment scheduled at 10:00 AM. She woke up the morning of the appointment feeling nauseous so i called to reschedule. I was pretty much told i paid for the time slot and not the actual service since services was not rendered. You would think offering services to pregnant women, there would be some sort of accommodation in case of an emergency. After a month of trying to resolve this issue, numerous trips to the location, numerous calls to speak with the manager regarding a rescheduled date, the manager never reached out to me. My final visit to the location i was pretty much told by the representative i couldn’t get a reschedule, i couldn’t get a refund, i couldn’t get a credit towards another booking. Only thing i could do was RE book another appointment. I essentially donated $120. Poor management, poor customer service, and overall a complete disappointment. Anybody looking to book here i hope you read my review. Even if you are on your death bed, you MUST make the appointment or your money is gone. They won’t reschedule, they won’t give you a credit to a future booking. They are inconsiderate and will take your money happily.

I have had several massages by different massage therapists at this location and had such a good experience each time! The therapists are very kind and attentive to any specific needs I bring.The environment is so tranquil and contemporary. Ambience, vibes, and trust can be so important when you are so vulnerable, and so far, The NOW has never steered me wrong. As someone who has visited many massage locations around the Atlanta area to try them out, this is definitely my favorite!Whether you are someone who wants to treat yourself to a one-off massage to celebrate something, or go more regularly for more frequent relaxation, I love that they have a membership program which both gives me a discounted massage AND reminds me to slow down and recover every once in a while. My favorite routine is to get a massage then head to the Chopt across the parking lot for a salad to stretch out the self-care a little longer.Easy booking, competitive pricing with several add-on options for me to personalize my treatment depending on my needs at that appointment. I have and will continue to recommend The NOW to all of my friends!

I walked into a counter filled with three ladies all face down on tablets. Less than thrilled by my presence. I was shown where the bathroom was but was not told where to return to wait for my massage.Since its not well advertised that they dont have walls. You hear every little noise around you. Other massages, the door to the space opening and closing.They do attempt to hide the noise with a sound machine.I added on the deep tissue to my machine and it did not address all my needs.Upon leaving I got an overly pushy sales pitch to get a membership. I politely said no and they started the sales pitch again.

Where do I start?NOW is the space we didn’t know we needed in Buckhead. From the moment I walked in the door, everything about the experience was soothing, clean, calming & healing. The facility and the decoration are very much a vibe. From the carpets to the chairs to the crystals in the walls, it’s evident that the team was intentional in their creation of a space you can come to truly relax and restoreThe massage was ah-ma-zing! Combined with breathwork and essential oils, I truly felt the world and it’s worries disappear. The staff was so kind, welcoming, accommodating & professional! Love it here and ready for Round 2.

I made an appointment as a birthday gift for my mother. They were perfectly helpful with information. She reported that the massage was OK, but when it came to the payment, they charged her a tip first. Like WHY?!So she had to pay the tip out of pocket and there was money leftover in the gift card (which I can only hope they honor later on). Seems like its purposefully done that way to force you to return, since its obtuse on their part when they knew she was paying with a gift card. Very upsetting and not great for customer service.

Been coming here for over a year now and had many great massages with several therapists, and they’ve all been great. I’ve been going to see Chris for the last three or four times, and highly recommend him, he’s wonderful!!

The place was lovely, very beautiful inside and I was excited for a nice relaxing massage.. however, that was by FAR the worst massage lve ever had. I dont think this guy was an actual massage therapist... every movement felt so sporadic and uncomfortable. His hands were extremely dry it was hard to relax the entire time.. I felt like I was being exfoliated. I also kept getting a finger nail rubbed very hard into my back.Besides that, the technique was poor and very choppy. I dont feel like i just got home from a massage.. I was so uncomfortable the whole time.. its a cute aesthetic place so maybe just I got a bad massage therapist? Unfortunate, I was really looking forward to that massage. I have 3 large scratches on my back from this experience. I will try to upload them. This is unacceptable. I wanted a massage to relax and this was the complete opposite

I recently visited The Now Buckhead to get some information about their services. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, the person at the reception was preoccupied with their phone and did not greet me or smile. I asked for some information about the services, and instead of providing any assistance, they simply told me to look at the menu on the wall and left me standing there feeling uncomfortable. Overall, the lack of customer service and courtesy was very disappointing.

The ambience is serene & comforting with soothing music and a clean & relaxing atmosphere.Im grateful to my massage therapist Neria for her exceptional service and it was one of the best massages of my life! She took the time to understand my problem areas and ensured that I felt comfortable throughout the session. After the session, I felt rejuvenated, and my back pain had significantly reduced. Just had the best massage experience of my life! I am a Massage Therapist and was in desperate need of true skill. Alonso understood the assignment! His technique is superb, his attention to detail is incredible. He is extremely intuitive, reaching every area of concern. His hands are firm and consistent throughout the session melting away all tension present. He used movement, stretching and traction to get into every spot typically ignored by other therapists in my past. Because of Alonzo I feel renewed. I wish I could take him back to Boston with me!!!

The ambiance was nice and the massage was enjoyable. I would warn potential patrons about their pricing policy though. I booked my massage over the phone and was told one price. When I checked out the price was more than I was quoted over the phone. Apparently I was quoted the massage membership price even though I am not a member (this was my first time, I knew nothing about the pricing tiers). When I brought this to the young lady’s attention she offered an enhancement on my next massage. This didn’t equate to the price discrepancy and didn’t correct the wrong that was done. I paid the difference, plus tip and left. I don’t know that I will be returning.

I made an appointment for me and my sister and called to verify that we were scheduled at the same time, and Alexia was rude and unprofessional. I can’t believe she is allowed to work at a place claiming that’s it a calming and peaceful environment. I canceled my appointment after she hung on me, and then I called later to speak with the manager to confirm cancellation and she defended Alexia’s behavior, excusing it as Saturday is a busy day with phones and in-person customers. So should customers only call when they are slow, and it’ll be more convenient? This is unbelievable. I would not recommend this business at all. I see other reviewers from months back with the same sentiment concerning the front desk, but they still work there. This is definitely speaking to the management of this business.

Yikes! I just called to confirm a first time visit and was handled so unprofessionally by Alexia. I can’t believe they are letting her interact with customers. Her communication skills are subpar and her temperament was worse.If I hadn’t already prepaid for a massage as a gift to a friend, I would have been immediately turned off from this place. The only saving grace is the second person who came to the phone after I requested.

I must say Ive been to several massage studios in ATL, but nothing compares to The NOW Massage Buckhead! The studio is decorated beautifully and has such a relaxing atmosphere. Staff is top tier. They also have some of the BEST smelling candles. Highly recommend!

I have a membership for one reason: Syreeta. She is amazing. I am in my 50s and have had dozens of massages, and I put Syreeta at the top. She will curate your massage to address whatever you need. And if you just want to relax, youll definitely feel relaxed because she knows what shes doing. Her technique is top-notch, and shes always consistent. She is very professional in all respects and a genuinely nice person. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions with her.

Best spot for a massage Ive found in Atlanta. Mikey is a gentle beast with soothing touches to last you long after youve departed from the spa.Only thing I dislike about The Now is its cancellation/reschedule charge. If you miss a time or slot, theyll charge you $50, but if a massage therapist cancels on you, theres not really an incentive given. Granted, Ive had the luck of them forgiving my late arrival once without a charge, so theres that.

I absolutely love this place. I felt like I was at a retreat in the middle of nowhere when I walked in, which was the best feeling ever because it was great to just unwind and decompress. I received an 80 minute deep tissue massage with Hannah which was phenomenal.. she hit all of my problem areas with perfect pressure which resulted in immediate relief. If you have not been to the NOW please please please do yourself a favor and go… NOW. Get a massage with hannah! I can’t wait to be back🤍

Advertising looks good, bur the reality doesnt match the actual vibe of the service. One of the female therapists was REALLY weird, made me feel uncomfortable (voodoo vibes). I was scared NOT to tip her, (nervous laugh). Honestly, not worth the money they charge. Its clean and aesthetically pleasing, but, again, not the best therapists. I wouldnt waste my time or money, frankly. WOW!! I can say that after trying multiple places in the area, I have found THE place for the best massage. I am so impressed with the services provided from the moment I walked through the door to when I left. It was a spectacular massage and I challenge anyone to find a better place. Christy was amazing. She found and isolated spots that were super tight, but took her time working them out with various techniques to ensure that this “low pain tolerance” customer stayed relaxed the whole time. Adam, one of the owners was kind and actively supported the front desk. The membership is SO reasonable and I will be signing up and telling everyone to come here. Thank you all so much again!!

Jaysen is an incredible massage therapist and does an amazing job. This review is not about him but rather the Manager and the front desk staff. I was told that I could not pay a tip via Venmo to Jaysen. But rather demanded that I must either pay with my card on file or the new system that they have. First of all tipping is optional and not mandatory. I believe as a customer we have the right to tip a staff member with whatever we wish and not what the manager or front desk says. Today after my massage I told the front desk lady that I was not going to tip with there system. She rolled her eyes and looked at me like I was stupid. No lady I am not and you can give me all the dirty looks you want and so can your manager. Dont tell me how a customer should tip. But also work on your customer service your not friendly nor welcoming. I would love to speak with the owner about this and hope that I will be contacted.

Debra is an absolutely amazing massage therapist. I had sciatic pain for months and was about to go to PT, but decided to try a massage first. I’m so glad that I was paired with her! She got rid of it in one massage. Today I went back to see her for neck and shoulder pain that was causing me to have no range of motion, and a tune up on the sciatic region. I can now move my neck in all directions with Barely any pain and I know that I’ll feel even better tomorrow!

The customer service was awful. The staff specifically Carry I think her names was radiated mean girl energy. They were short when I asked about the services and it really all felt like a microaggression. All this said the massage was amazing, so the one star stands. There are better parlors around especially in Chamblee.

Loved the decor and minimalistic aspect of the location. It was a very calm and inviting place. However, my massage was not the best. I honestly felt as though, I was having lotion just rubbed on me, instead of an actual massage.

Awful experience here. Booked in advance, had already paid and after waiting twenty minutes for my appointment I was told that my massage therapist didn’t realize there was an appointment and was driving in to work. They chose to keep everyone else’s appointments on time and cancel mine. Completely unacceptable.

I would of been happy and pleased if I was accommodated with a refund but that was not the case…just because I came late and I was stuck in traffic. Moreover, I think you guys need to update your refund clause because this could happen to anybody.
