Utopia Foot & Shoulder Massage

This is my “go to” place for a quick muscle relation reset. Every therapist has been great but of course I’ve developed a favorite that frequently asked about if the pressure that’s administered is ok. Take advantage of the weekly 2 people for the price of 1 deals they offer and treat someone to a really nice experience! Clean, quiet atmosphere with soft spa music playing. There is more parking in the rear of the building. Receptionist is friendly and knowledgeable in membership packages and services offered.

Utopia is truly one of the biggest gems in Grant Park. I have been coming pretty consistently since they first opened (in the middle of a pandemic!) and I’ve never had a bad experience. Everyone who works here is SO nice and the massage staff are incredibly skilled. I’m always surprised by how well they are able to hone in on my problem areas without me even having to say anything. It’s a fun experience to do with a friend, but I also love the flexibility of being able to run in at the last minute after a long day at work. The location is great, parking is free, and there’s lots of neat products for sale in the lobby area. You can tell how thoughtfully designed the entire business is because it has gotten better and better over time. So grateful for this slice of heaven!

I felt 5 inches taller after my lovely massage! The masseuse was thorough and firm, but what I enjoyed most was her checking in with me throughout to make sure I was having a good experience. I will definitely be back for a virgo candle!

This was a fantastic experience. I called yesterday and I was in there within 2 hours. I had a fantastic shoulder and back massage. The lady at the front desk was fantastic. She was super nice and funny. The gentleman who perform my massage was very professional and very about the massage. I heard his voice 3 times, so they are serious about your peace. 10/10 will be back.

My mom and I had an absolutely incredible experience at Utopia. The massages we received were truly exceptional, surpassing all others we’ve have ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly, eager to assist, and possessed a wealth of knowledge. The atmosphere exudes a sense of calmness and was filled with soothing scents. We both left feeling renewed, refreshed, and revitalization. We will definitely be returning.

I went to Utopia today for the first time since they re-opened. It looked great and had a very relaxing vibe inside. I did the 60 min back and shoulder massage and the add-ons. My therapist was amazing and honestly the back massage rivaled most of the expensive spas I’ve been to. My biggest advice is adding the scalp massage- best $15 I’ve spent in a long time.

I had a GREAT shoulder and foot massage on 8-17-24!!!! I really needed it and my therapist had the correct amount of pressure and could tell where I was tense the most and worked out the knots! Awesome experience.

Yesss!! Came on my birthday today for the first time after a friend recommended it and LOVED my experience. My therapist, Ana, was amazing!! I like a harder pressure for massages and she was perfect. I did the 60 min foot and back combo. Will definitely be coming back - great service, very affordable! 😍Update 2 weeks later - went back in for another foot and back combo! I had Eddie this time and he was fantastic! Very attentive, checked on me multiple times ensuring I was okay. Another great experience!

I got the 75 minute massage (shoulder, foot AND back) and it was excellent. The atmosphere is so relaxing with the candles and waterfalls. My masseuse was Eddie and he was fantastic. Seriously, ask for this guy. I have all kinds of tension and knots in my shoulders and back and he worked on those areas in a firm but gentle manner until the tension just melted away. That session was not only relaxing, but also therapeutic. Cant wait to go back!

I decided to get the 90 min for 85$. The atmosphere was very relaxing. For 85$ you get 30 min feet 30min shoulder and back..The therapist was delightful. In my opinion it does not compare to the true table massage. Is 85$ a good value. My opinion no. I was looking for more relaxation. Thats the one reason I give it a 3 out of 5. Customer service score and cleanliness 5 .

Wonderful experience at this massage spa. The facility is clean, calming, and dimly lit, all very relaxing. Eddie is a great massage therapist, he was very responsive and thorough. My partner and I were in town for a few days and took advantage of the Wednesday special—great value and easy to schedule for two on short notice. Thank you, Utopia!

Utopia is such a wonderful neighborhood gem. We’ve been a few times and each time is great. Today I woke up with a sore neck from sleeping on it wrong, and called for a last minute appointment and they were able to accommodate me. I saw Eddie who did a fantastic job - he took extra care, was professional and kind and really knew what he was doing. He took the time to find the knots in my shoulders and neck and really worked on them to relieve the soreness, while always checking in to make sure everything was okay. I booked a 30 minute shoulder massage but after it was over, I immediately asked for another 30 minutes. I like how the treatment felt personalized to me. The room was well decorated, clean and quiet. I left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to go back. Thanks Eddie and Utopia!

I had my daughter’s birthday party at Utopia. The girls LOVED being pampered. They were shockingly quiet the whole time and each one came out raving about the hot stones at the end.

How have I missed this beautiful place, its like a diamond in the rough. Being a retired fire fighter its understandable that I would have back problems and my husband an executive chef to have feet pain. Let me tell you the ambiance of this place is amazing and our massage therapist simply breathtaking. Oh and we are not going to talk about the price, we both got the hour and a half. I throughly enjoyed my experience at Utopia. So much so I visited for a 30 minute foot massage and came back the next day for a back and shoulder massage. The ambiance is relaxing, the staff were friendly and professional, and the therapists know what they are doing. They remained pleasant and professional throughout my service. The place is similar to Treat Your Feet, but the setting is more intimate. There are two massage chairs in each room so if you go alone you may share a room with someone else. I definitely recommend this spa. They take reservations and walk ins as well.

This is my favorite place for massages especially shoulders and feet!!! I was very sad when they were temporarily closed and became elated when they reopened!!!! Just completed my third visit back and it’s consistently a great experience!! I want to say my therapist but they are all really good btw and I don’t want y’all booking my person lol. They are that good. The staff will know who talking about I’ve booked twice with this person and they are is truly wonderful! Hands down one of the best experiences in Atlanta!!!

I am not sure what the requirements are to work here but, I don’t think knowing how to massage is one of them… it was more of a rub down. The young lady didn’t understand English. It was obvious she was being trained and following the other lady. She lacked technique and did the same thing the entire service. It wasn’t enough pressure and even though she asked she couldn’t under. and the lady she was shadowing had translate.Nice Place though. I would suggest more training and not hiring anyone willing to work..

Utopia is the perfect spa for a lovely and straightforward massage. The environment is clean and relaxing. The manager and therapist, Eddie, is super accommodating and dedicated to creating a relaxing experience. Marta is the truth as far as massages. I highly recommend a deep tissue massage here!

Waste of money. Worst massage I’ve ever had. The set up is horrible so when flipped over on the RECLINER the “therapist” was just putting all their weight on my lower back. The atmosphere is also way off. You walk into the back blind as a bat. When you get into the room they don’t tell you anything so you just sitting there like a lost dog trying to feel for the chair. Foot and shoulders were stiff but walked out with more trouble. Don’t go. I doubt the therapists are real because if so… they’re bad to accept a set up like that.

Great much needed shoulder and foot massage for us! Space was clean and the ambience was serene and relaxing. All associates were professional.

I’m so happy Utopia is open again! This neighborhood business went through a lot and yet managed to rebuild better and stronger. They invested in new quality equipment and facilities. Their therapists are wonderful: I saw Marta at my last visit and she was really professional and kind, and the massage experience had a lot of nice little features (Aromatherapy! Hot stones! Warm neck bags!). Strongly recommend the 75 minutes massage - just the right amount of time.

I’m so glad I was able to come in as a walk-in! The front desk lady and Jocelyn (masseuse) were kind and professional. Jocelyn did a great job maintaining consistent firm pressure and focusing on my problem areas. It was everything I asked for! Five stars!Google won’t let me leave a second review, so I’ll just add my second experience here. After the review above, I went back two days later for more. I usually prefer a woman masseuse but Eddy was available for deep tissue so I went with him. I had read all the great reviews about him and was curious to try. I initially asked for 30 min back massage and within 5 mins I was hooked, I ended up extending it to an hour for back and shoulder. Eddy was professional and mindful of boundaries, asked for consent when appropriate, and checked in with me a few times to see how I was doing (I loved every minute). If you’re a deep tissue freak like me, do yourself a favor and book at least one hour with Eddy.

Recently started coming here again, I was so happy to hear the re-oped after the devastating fire they had. I received a 75 min massage that includes back, shoulder and feet. EDDIE was my therapist and let me tell you he did amazing!!!! I will be booking with him again for sure. He was the first therapist there that checked on me throughout the massage and made sure the pressure was still okay. He also took note on my scars and mentioned that he would stay away from the area, which really made me feel comfortable. Eddie has heavily hands I’d highly recommend him! They also provide tank tops which is nice. It’s a relaxing clean environment, you won’t regret booking an appointment here.

I recently had my first visit to Utopia and I was SUPER impressed. First, the waiting area is gorgeous. The staff welcome you with a smile (behind their masks) a squirt of hand sanitizer, and a temp check. Once you pass that step, you choose your salt for your foot bath. I chose the Eucalyptus and it was magical! You are led back into the massage area which is set up great for social distancing. There are about 6-8 areas with walled partitions - most areas have 2-4 chairs so it is easy to be separated. You begin with your warm foot bath and then your therapist begins your massage. My therapist was amazing! She has excellent choreography and took care to make sure I was satisfied with my pressure. The space is SO relaxing. The waterfall walls, dim lighting, and spa playlist are a welcome sound from the noise of todays screaming society. I cannot WAIT to go back! Run, dont walk to Utopia!

This place was close and convenient so I decided to give it a try. I do get regular massages so I didnt feel like the back massage that I received was amazing. I realized from the beginning that it wasnt a legitimate therapeutic massage. My therapist was kind but didnt really understand how to adjust her pressure for my preference. This massage left me really sore the next day. Maybe I would try foot massage because I like the location. Its nice and relaxing.

Great massage. I enjoyed the Monday special. We were able to do them back to back which was perfect. I enjoyed the back and shoulder portion more than the foot. I think the massage therapist wore gloves for the foot portion which I understand from a cleanliness standpoint but I found it distracting. Massage therapist also smelled a bit like garlic.I will definitely be back again.

Today was my 5th visit to Utopia and I’ve been satisfied every time. Each experience is different simply based on your service provider - some I like more than others but they’ve all been good in their own way. The ladies are very nice and check in repeatedly regarding the pressure. I love the vibe and I always feel so cozy. Please understand that this is a chair massage and will understandably be different than a table massage. If you’re good with that then Utopia will be a great experience!

Just had the most amazing chair massage for 75 min (taking advantage of the wed $110 for two people) with the amazing hands of Eddie and Vivi! They were professional, thoughtful, and tended to all the knots I knew I had (and the ones I didn’t). Have been to treat your feet before and that was the gold standard but this place blows it out of the water!Will definitely onlyBe coming here.Of note… parties of 1-2 only in a room. By far the best in the area! I love the pricing and how many options youre given to customize your experience, but I especially appreciate the little details that Utopia includes that others dont. Placing essential oils by the nose at the beginning to help you relax, placing a thick soft blanket over you during the massage, placing a warm compress around your neck midway through, placing your feet in warm scented water before massaging your feet, etc. Lovely music and smells and overall comfortable, clean environment. Ill be a loyal customer for a while!

One of the best massages I’ve ever had.Update: Crazy how drastically different my second experience was compared to the first. I was just rubbed with lotion this time. They touched a couple of problem areas at the beginning but really just rubbed me down lightly the whole 60 minutes.

Best massage experience for price. The sounds are relaxing and the area or your shouldere are great for computer workers or those who carry stress in their backs.

The service was excellent. A quaint spot, right next to the Fire Station, and super quiet & relaxing. Pricing is also very reasonable as well. Came in tight, got a quick back massage, and left feeling rested and rejuvenated. Parking can be tricky, but you should be able to find a spot.

Foot massages are MY KIND OF SELF CARE (like, weekly foot massages, its a problem) and I am so happy that there’s finally one within 5 minutes of home!! This place is one of the most serene and beautiful spots I have been to - and with AMAZING therapists! The foot soak is actually when they do the shoulder and neck massage so you 100% get a full 60 min massage.Can’t wait to stop by on the way home from work on those stressful days.

Worst massage I’ve ever had. I did the scalp massage with Foot and Back 60 minutes. The scalp massage was not even relaxing. The water for the foot soak was brought out in these huge plastic buckets with bags in it, really not a good luck or relaxing. The foot massage itself is more a leg massage with the foot barely touched. The back massage was the worst - it was done on a reclining chair and clients are told not to take their shirts off. The masseuse reaches into your shirt through the neck hole to touch your back and it covers your shirt in oils and stretches out the neck hole. It’s awkward and weird. The masseuse can’t even reach the bottom half of your back. Even if you wanted to stop them and take your shirt off to make it easier, there are no doors in the rooms and no privacy to those walking by. At times you can hear the other workers talking a few rooms over or in the hallway as they walk past.Also they use furry blankets instead of towels to lay with, which feels unsanitary for some reason.Odd experience from beginning to end. Will never be going here again.

Today was our first experience with Utopia and it was ahh-mazing!!! My wife and I both got The Perfect massage (75 mins foot, back, and shoulders) and it 100% lived up to its name. I had Maxi and my wife had Vivi and they were absolutely wonderful. The perfect pressure to both relax and work some stuff out. The front staff was super welcoming and the place has a great vibe. Cant wait to book my next visit! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

What an INCREDIBLE experience! Honestly I had no words after my service bc it left me speechless. From the moment you walk in you can feel the warmth and care throughout the space. Eddie was OUTSTANDING! As an athlete that trains 2-4hrs a day almost everyday, he knew exactly the right pressure to apply(which was the best deep tissue massage I have ever gotten!) I didn’t know what to expect going in but now that I know, I can see why people just rave about this place. It was such a magical experience for me that I even cried a little in my car after bc it was such a release and the most relaxing 75mins! Had a specific issue in my neck / shoulder that needed to be worked out, and boy was it! Excellent shoulder massage! Incredible value at $33 for a half hour! Booking online was easy. Facility was clean, warm and inviting. I dont get a lot of massages but I will definitely be back when Ive got aches and pains to get worked out!

I’ve been coming to Utopia for a while and have always received excellent service from EVERYONE including the owner Julie.To receive a phone call today and have Ky on the other end with such a HORRIBLE, HOSTILE, & DISGRUNTLE attitude is unacceptable, attempting to go back and forth with a customer and not knowing FACTS because you’re so hell bent on trying to be right instead of listening and talking over them and giving piss poor service is a sure way to run off customers who have supported before the fire, during the fire and even after.I seriously think her employment with Utopia needs to be reconsidered as this is a place that people come to relax and relieve stress not be stressed out by the front desk associate.Update: Julie (Owner) definitely called to get more details on what happened, apologized and made it right. It’s rare that the owner calls but these simple gestures go a LONG WAY. We’ll be seeing you soon.

Had the pleasure of finding this place online and went last Friday. I took my friend and we both got the 30 minute foot massage. It was more than we expected in a good way. We enjoyed ourselves.When calling to make the appointment that day was super easy and the lady was very kind . They sent a confirmation text for our appt right away.The establishment is not hard to locate and parking is free in the back of the plaza. The inside of the spa is very clean and relaxing once you walk in. We had no wait time and went immediately to the back after picking out the salts for out foot massage.I bought a few things after and look forward to returning as a customer.Highly recommend 👌

We had an amazing experience at Utopia! Didn’t quite know what to expect but on the inside it is a serene spa and the prices were so affordable. I had therapist 1 - he was so great and I loved my foot massage. My boyfriend also had a great experience with therapist 2. Just make sure to wear a tank top and some pants that are easy to roll up. We will definitely be back!

The inside is very nice and chic. The massage is okay and does *not* really relieve any pain or tension in problem areas (eg my ankle/foot). If just want a relaxing, asthetically pleasing environment -this is the place. But if you need a real, tension/pain releasing massage - look elsewhere. Hope this helps someone. Also, staff is friendly.

Very easy booking process - called and got a spot for my husband and I for the Wednesday special. Excellent price and very convenient location. The space was very relaxing and clean. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful.I really enjoyed the massage but was disappointed that we reserved and paid for 75 minutes and the massage only lasted one hour. Showed up at 5pm and was out the door by 6pm. This was a Christmas gift for my husband and not something we can afford on a regular basis.Overall we felt really relaxed afterwards and were happy to have had the massage.EDIT: Utopia just responded saying I was checked out at 6:17pm. I have a receipt in my inbox that says 6:04pm is when we were checked out. I am very upset that whoever decided to respond lied. We will not be back.

I was in Atlanta for the week and stumbled upon this place from a quick google search for spa. I booked in for a Mothers day promo: $60 for a 1 hour foot and shoulder massage, 10 minute scalp massage and foot bath with salts. I didnt know what to expect going in but it was everything I needed... just WOW!So happy with this experience from start to finish. The spa is clean and inviting, I checked into my appointment and was promptly taken to the back where it was dark and candle lit with spa music in the background. My therapists name was Marisol (Thank you Marisol!) and she was fantastic - amazing pressure throughout and grinded out all my knots on my shoulder and neck. I loved that she spent time on my neck right below my ears as the tension from my shoulders usually travels up to my neck. She spent a good amount of time on each side of the shoulder and neck, gave me a quick hand massage, asked twice if the pressure was okay and even brought a hot towel to wrap around my neck and shoulders for the soreness while she moved to my foot massage. The foot massage was also so relaxing, afterward she used some hot stones on my legs and foot - they were so amazing and felt so good! So so thankful for Marisol and her amazing pressure and for the complete service experienced at this spa. Best money I ever spent! Kudos to this amazing establishment!

O! M! G! This was absolutely fantastic! Let me preface this review by saying I work in non-profit, I am constantly on the go, extremely stressed and overly busy. I was absolutely thrilled when a fellow volunteer offered to treat me to a massage on one of their two for the price of one days.Ill admit I tried to talk myself out of it several times however I finally said , Nope Im going! And boy am I glad I did!!My representative Moxie was absolutely fantastic!! I visited Utopia for the first time a few weeks ago on a Sunday, and I am so excited to have this valuable business in my hood. It was just what I needed. Impeccable service and an amazing, affordable massage in a serene environment.The spa is very clean, and all staff are taking the necessary covid precautions. I opted for the shoulder/arm massage, scalp massage followed by the calf/foot massage with salt scrub. So lovely! Cocooned beneath my cozy blanket during my massage, I nearly melted into my chair. I left feeling refreshed and loose-limbed, ready to meet the week ahead. I picked up some wonderfully scented candles on my way out. I cannot wait for my next visit!

After my 1st visit, I had to go back. And I did go back ... yesterday. Utopia does not disappoint. Ive tried similar services in and around Atlanta that are far more expensive and dont deliver half the punch. Utopia delivers top-notch service with fabulously positive attitudes and a lovely serene environment. Its a place anyone can go to, in order to grab a slice of serenity affordably. My fiancé and I went for a 30 minute shoulder massage and loved it! The ambiance here is relaxing and the staff is professional and very nice. I have a ton of knots in my shoulders and neck from work, but by the time I left I felt so much more relaxed. The pressure was perfect. It felt like a deep tissue massage which is just what I needed. I recommend you go to your appointment in a tube too or a tank top with very thin straps that can be slid down your arm so they can massage you unimpeded.

I have been nervous about gong anywhere due to COVID, but we were met at the door by a friendly owner in a mask and had our temperature taken. The layout was absolutely beautiful and sectioned off for a more private feel. The service was pristine, kind and friendly. This was definitely a better massage than I was used to and not having to drive 10 miles was a complete bonus. I am excited to have them in the neighborhood. The price was right and they have a monthly membership that would make the price even better. Highly suggest Utopia! I will be back!

I recently, had my first experience at Utopia. The experience was amazing! I drove an hour away to get my massage. It was so worth the drive! The staff was so kind and accommodating to my needs! The foot massage was the best part! I was so relaxed after my massage... I was speechless. I got a change to speak with the owner... she was very personable. I will definitely be a regular customer.

My husband and I went for the first time and let me tell you it was the BEST and most AMAZING shoulder and foot massage we have EVER received. I was literally melting in my chair. First of all, everything is top notch and professional. The owner is so sweet and personable. The therapist have the hands of Angels. I Love that we had our own private area. After quite a few visits my last 2 have not been great. This one today takes the cake. I got to my appointment early I had booked for 7PM , I was even thanked for being early. I waited in the lobby for about 10minutes.I was then asked if I was ok sitting next to someone that I didn’t know. I said that was fine. I sat in the chair and waited some more. By 720PM my hour long service had not started, I got up and went and asked the ladies at the front what was going on. They went to the back and finally someone came. By 8:05 I was done. These people had the nerve to charge me for a 30min massage and then tell me they didn’t want to come and tell me this information so they didn’t disturb the guy sitting next me. The level of disrespect was unacceptable. If they knew they were too busy someone should have let me know that I wasn’t going to be able to get my full service. The service wasn’t even good. So I ended up being forced to pay for something I didn’t even book. The owner needs to find better front staff and go back to the great massage therapist that she originally had because this is just bad.

Omg!!! Utopia was the best!! I am a mother of two and work for a pediatric dentistry firm. I love them but this momma needed a break! I went on Wednesday and had the most relaxing, unstressed, amazing, and rough (I asked for hard) massage I have ever gotten. She got every muscle, every ache, and all that was tense feeling I have had in all my body. I felt like I was on clouds when she was done. I will be definitely going back. Hopefully make it a once a month thing just to treat myself to a peaceful day. Also is it so peaceful and quiet I actually fell asleep three times during the massage. I loved it so much I told my boss that she needs to take the office there for some relaxation time.

I was slightly shocked leaving the massage place. My boyfriend and I decided to give Utopia a try because of all the great reviews but we both walked out extremely dissatisfied. The massage wasn’t good and we felt no pressure at all. We both asked multiple times for more pressure but nothing changed and it honestly felt like someone was just moving their hand along our shoulders. The scalp massage didn’t feel like anything either and was a waste of money. For me, all I walked out with after the scalp massage is very tangled hair. It honestly was disappointing because everyone was nice, but unfortunately it wasn’t something I would pay for again. Something else to note, please ask your guests to wear tank tops or take off their shirts. The woman who was massaging my boyfriend slightly tore the top of his shirt. Just overall not a very relaxing experience, which really sucks because we really wanted to like this place.

Omg! I am sooo in love 💖with this place. I live 2 hours south of Atlanta but visit weekly for work. I have arthritis 😥and use holistic methods to treat pain and manage inflammation. I said that to say, this place is an angle on my pocket💸, so affordable compared to other places Ive been to. I initially tried multiple therapist before settling on the therapist I request now. Most times I call as Im on my way to the city and can be seen within an hour or so. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the semi open therapy rooms make me feel comfortable and safe. The staff are amazing!🤩 I dont know what formula you use to hire people but after multiple visits, I have been nothing but delighted. The location is convenient, although parking can be tricky 🤦🏽‍♀️. I actually visit bi-weekly and I would make the 2 hour 🚗 even if I wasnt already going that way. Wear lose clothing, wear a tank top, and be willing to let the staff know what you need. They truly take ownership of your experience. Thank you for helping with my pain and inflammation, my range of motion has gotten so much better since I found you. 😊 This place is a true 💎

I had a nice experience. The place is very clean and well decorated. It is very quiet which is not true of all massage places. They accommodated a same-day appointment although I believe they take walk-ins as well.One thing that was a little odd was how they ask for tips. There is a little sign at the check-out desk that said if your service was just good you should give a $10 tip on a $45 service, which is more than 22%. If your service was excellent then they are looking for more of a 30%+ tip. It came across as if the owner is not paying the therapists enough and he or she is trying to make up for it in tips. I find it tacky to provide these very specific tip suggestions.

Inside this this little plaza we stumbled across a hidden gem. When we booked our appointment online, we expected just your average massage studio.We entered into a beautiful front lobby that was decorated in natural wood and beautiful walls that immediately gave us a a sense of calming.After checking in, we walked beyond the front desk into the most serene almost dream like space. Dark with just candle lighted hallway into a perfect private area with 2 chairs.Our massages were amazing. My expectations are always a little high, but yall, this was insanely great. We booked an hour and it went by so fast.Our massage attendees most have been trained in pressure points in the body cause I felt like he hit every one of them just right.This experience was like a high priced full body massage that you get on vacation! But lucky for us we live very close and will be visiting on a monthly basis!

We are repeat customers of Utopia. The owners are delightful individuals, and the staff is warm & courteous.Pricing is great, $45 for a one hour foot/neck massage. Parking may seem limited, but dont be fooled, there is a lot in the back that can be accessed from the left side of the building.COVID precautions are in place, with reservations staggered, mandatory temperature checks, mask requirement, and hand sanitizing upon entry. Staff is also required to follow these requirements.

Ive been a regular client at Utopia for the last year and a half and over time I feel as if the experience has become less and less enjoyable. I understand times are hard as I own a small service based business myself but thats not a reason for customer experience to decline. The last time my boyfriend and I got massages we heard scraping, banging and laughing in the back amongts employees which was very distracting at a time when we are coming in for relaxation. Tonight I think my therapist was actually falling asleep while massaging my feet, several seconds would go by with 0 pressure/contact during the foot massage which was kind of weird. I honestly wasnt impressed after paying $106 for 2 plus tip for each therapist. And the common conversation the last couple of visits in the car ride home is lack of pressure. May give Utopia one more shot but Im not sure - not to happy with the inconsistency in quality of service.

The spa is located conveniently right off of 20 highway on Boulevard in Grant Park and has free parking.They accept walk-ins but I highly recommend you schedule an appointment because this place is pretty popular and stays booked. You can book your appointment online or call, I used the online application but did have some trouble when I booked an appointment for two people, it didn’t schedule our appointment at the same time so I called and the front desk employee quickly changed the appointment time. I’m not sure if it was the app or user error.I paid $40 for a 60 minute foot and shoulder massage; the business is currently running a special, I also recommend checking out their website for their Utopia Promotions, like on Mondays you can get two 60 minute foot and shoulder massages for $60. They also have monthly memberships, like 2 one hour massages a month for $85.I’ve been to several foot massage spas in the Atlanta area and I have to say Utopia is the best! Julie the owner, is a gem! She is super friendly and was so sweet to my niece and me when we checked in for our appointment. She really has thought of everything with this spa and you can tell she is focused on the customer experience.My massage was very good, my therapist used the right amount of pressure and I was very surprised by the length of the shoulder massage, it was a quality massage and had to be at least 20 -30 minutes. This was my niece’s first massage and she did share the therapist pressure was too strong for her and he didn’t’ ask her if it was okay. I did advise her next time to communicate this to the therapist. My foot massage was good but not as great as the shoulder massage, I’m not sure if the therapist used all of her energy on my shoulder and neck, LOL but it almost appeared like she was distracted. Her and the other therapist were having a conversation, and whispering but I could still here them and it was a little disturbing. The hot stones and hot oil definitely made up for it and the stretch at the end so the overall experience I would rate as a 4.75 and since we can’t give a .75 rating I’m rounding up to 5 stars.I definitely plan on visiting again…very soon!Tips:Be mindful of your voice volume and put your phone on silentHave cash to tip you massage therapist ($12 -$15 is customary)I recommend wearing a tank top, it makes it easier for your massage therapist to perform your shoulder massageArrive 10 minutes prior to your first appointment and 5 -10 minutes prior to other appointmentsEnjoy!

I have had a long week and I needed to be pampered. So, I googled foot spa for some weird reason. The first location that popped up was your location. I was pleased to find a location 2 miles from where I lived. Just to make sure y’all were opened and had availability because it was around 17:00 in the evening , I called. This is when I met co-owner Patrick. He was so kind, patient and very informative. What a bittersweet moment...I found that y’all were opened but booked solid. Which...I expected because it was late in the day and a Saturday. Even though, I was disappointed with this news...I was excited to find out that y’all were opened on Sunday and that y’all had availability. So, I went online to book my appointment when I received a call back from Patrick...where he made me a very happy lady by telling me that someone canceled and that there was an 19:00 appointment available. I feel so special because o thought that that was so thoughtful of him. So, I went back online and booked my first appointment and the last appointment for that day. I booked a 60 minutes shoulder, neck and foot...because I know y’all want to know.When I arrived. I arrived about 30 minutes early....I walked into this beautiful, clean, welcoming spa that smelled like heaven... Patrick, was at the front desk....he looks just like he sounds, too. Patrick checked my temperature and gave me hand sanitizer. Asked me all the COVID questions. Gosh, He was so kind to me. I keep saying that because service matters to me...it truly does. Anyways, He told me what time I would be pampered and he told me all about the products and services they provided, which I knew about because I had been on there awesome website.As, I waited for my turn to be pampered...I had the great pleasure of listening to nice, soft, comfy, cozy music while sitting on a comfortable white chair in the waiting area.I love the decor there as well...it’s simple but, so inviting and very calming, soothing and calming!When I was escorted to my pampered session I was pleasantly surprised by what I experienced...I don’t even know how to explain what my eyes witnessed...but I will tell you that the lights were low...it was very quiet, I could hear water fountains all over...soft music playing in the background. The sight of the area was unbelievable....I want ruin for y’all because it is something I want y’all to experience for yourselves. I knew it would be nice but honestly I didn’t expect it to be that nice.I got to the location where I was going to be pampered and loved the set up there as well. The chairs are very comfortable with a pillow on them...which matters to a woman like me that has a big bottom....I need a pillow to be comfortable. I was surprised that they considered someone like me when they chose the chairs. Also, I loved that the recliner chairs were dark not light.Now, onto just what my body needed...a 60 minutes session of pure pamper time. My amazing masseuse made sure I was very comfortable...told me to relax and...gave me the best shoulder, neck, and foot massage of my life. It was just what my body, mind and soul needed. The sound of the water fountains, the comfort of the pillow and chair that was under me. The dimness of the room...the quietness In the atmosphere ...the warm water that stayed warm the whole time my feet was in the soft water that my feet was soaking in while I got my 30 minutes shoulder massage. The perfect blanket laid across my lap...it made me feel like I was being hugged. She gave me a massage like I was her first client of the day. She knew the pressure points and all. God blessed her with healing hands, y’all. Okay...that’s it. I ain’t telling y’all nothing else because...y’all need to get thine tail over there because your body desires and deserves to be pampered.Oh, after my massage...I had to use the restroom. That bathroom was extremely clean and smelled amazing...I loved using that restroom.I’m excited to book my weekly appointments moving forward.Thanks, for accommodating me and my body’s needs.

Had lower back pain and was excited to go in until 30mins into the massage they tell me Its a shoulder and neck massage only... no one mentions this when you call or walk in. Was expecting a normal 1hr massage... kind of a ripoff for $50Massuese was good but also jipped me out of around 10+mins. Started 5+ mins late and left for 5+mins during the massage...

Total relaxation! This was such an unexpected treat. I booked a 60 min shoulder and foot massage with a friend and thought it would be like a slightly elevated experience to getting a pedicure. I was wrong. It was a total sensory experience. The welcoming, bright lobby where you selected your salts for the foot soak then opened in to a cool, dark space where you had a large comfy chair with a blanket to enjoy a very relaxing shoulder massage, foot soak and foot massage. 60 mins flew by. Next time I’ll go 90 mins or add in a 15 min scalp massage. Therapist followed all current safety guidelines and the space felt immaculately clean. I need to make this a weekly ritual.

Price and location are great, but my therapist walked away from me 3 times 2nd time, I pulled out my timer, 5 minutes..so what was supposed to be an hour was more like 50minutes.
