My husband and I decided to go out for a friend’s birthday. The first thing my husband figured out was that there is only a urinal in the men’s bathroom near the pool room, he found that really odd. The ambiance is amazing the karaoke room is really small but oh so much fun!!!We had an amazing time, we had to DoorDash our food, yes they do deliver and the bartender was attentive. He was so awesome, while I wasn’t quite ready to belt out a song, several others did though and it was amazing. Lots of sing alongs, so many people with hidden talents. We only knew one couple when we arrived, by the end of the night we were interacting and talking to everyone in the room. It was so incredibly awesome!Let’s talk about the drinks, oh my goodness were they good! The lemon drops were right on time and for your birthday they give you a tiara!

Very chill spot, good security and safe parking. This place has a little something for everyone. Need a table to sit and chat heck yes. Looking to play beer pong with the homies. Karaoke but of course. Darts yes sir. Need a decent dance floor, well this is the place for you.Drinks are reasonably priced, good vibes, multiple bars to get drinks and separate environments on the same bar. Get yourself on down to moondogs youll be glad you did.

We had a time that night. I am not a big drinker, but the drink I had was really good. There were quite a few games to play like pool, darts, corn hole, and poker. I didnt play any of those games, I sang Karaoke. It was so much fun, and there was a pole next to the karaoke stage. The only downside is that they dont serve food, but they have no issue with you ordering food to be delivered to their location. We did have to pay to park, but that is to be expected.

This is definitely a bar you go to if you want to party hard. There’s four different bars, you can take your choice. There were a lot of very drunk people, it did get out of control in some areas and we would get out of the area. At some points we didn’t feel very safe, two women should not go alone. Lots of Security to haul off the wild people. Girls should go in groups, preferably with other guys or their boyfriends. The guys they were very aggressive and touchy-feely. We did not appreciate that. We would not go back for that reason. We waited over 30 minutes for a drink at the bar. You have to go to a bar that’s not busy.We had a good time for the first and last time we went. But we don’t live in Atlanta so it won’t matter. They have plenty of customers. The place was packed. It did not have a cover charge that night. We waited in line about 20 minutes to get in. I would go earlier. We went at midnight.

Went with a group of friends on a Saturday night. Overcrowded dive bar, unprofessional staff especially security. I understand it is a bar, but as paying customers we are entitles to SOME form of service. Security was beyond childish, they dont know how to conduct their closing operation in a professional and safe manner. GHETTO

Moondogs was LIT! This was our second stop in our bar hopping adventure and it was a good choice. We found a place in the bar, and service was great. Brian too good care of us the entire night!Moondogs is located in Buckhead, and this area is perfect for bar hopping because theres a couple bars right next to each other (Red Martini, Hole in the Wall, and more).Theres so much stuff to do. From pool tables, beer pong, table tops game and more. Sometimes even karaoke I heard. Smoking is permitted inside, so mind this if youre not a smoker.It was crowded on a Saturday night, but we still had fun. Drinks are cheap, and they have so many deals going on. Personally a big fan. Staff is awesome. Atmosphere is incredible, there are 5 different rooms/themes.90s Pool hall, European pool hall, American tavern, kpop neon karaoke, and an EDM room at night.

Havent been in years. Went out with some friends for a night out. Entry was easy, and bar service was quick. Issue is the security trying to extort you in the hall

This is my favorite spot to hang out at. Drinks are cheap, I recommend the chamoyada shots. The atmosphere here is always great. My only issue is the music in the EDM room, it feels like they could switch it up every once in a while. EDM is cool but the remixes they play sometimes are not good for dancing. Other than the music, the place is great and I always enjoy my time there.

The drinks are cheap and its a great space to do karaoke, shoot pool, throw darts, or just drink. The parking is a little steep, as valet was $60 the friday night we went. Regular parking was $20-30. When we got there it was no cover, but there was a long line to come in when we walked out, so Id say show up before 11:30. Service was a little slow, but value was good.

It’s a cool vibe. This place has multiple rooms and games such as beer pong darts, etc. Music was good. Drinks were alright. No food if going at night. I’m not sure if food is serviced during the day?As a whole, its a good place to meet people and hang out!

Everyone was extremely nice at every bar, we had a lot of fun playing the scavenger hunt, and trying the themed Barbie drinks. Karaoke bar was very fun and everyone had a good vibe. The games were fun also. Only thing is they close at 2:30AM instead of 3AM and were yelling at everyone to get out

Dont go here if you need to go #2. They have no stalls in the whole bar. The only bathroom they have for men is a ice cooler you have to get shoulder to shoulder with someone to pee. Absolutely unacceptable that a restobar doesnt even have stalls. I hat to run to my car and drive to a gas station 10 minutes away just to go. Never coming here again. If your too cheap to build at least 1 stall, you dont deserve my money. This place should be ashamed of itself

I normally don’t write reviews but my experience last night was just sickening. The light skin bearded-security and the girl bartender with the faux locs, were incredibly rude, the security office put his hands on me stepped my shoe off my foot. They are so rude, if you hate your job go someplace else, I don’t need your business, you need mine. They were both a 5 letter and a 4 letter word. Ghetto 0/5 stars wouldn’t recommend.

I love Moondogs.. Im a regular visitor of the laidback chill friendly bar. I love darts, shooting pool, and karaoke. Its a really good spot to meet people.

Great on Tuesday and Thursday nights for poker. Going here is great if you are looking for a divey college bar. Patrons can be an issue but staff are all sweethearts. Oh and karoake.

Spent many good nights here! Mike is a lovely owner, and I cant recommend Moondogs enough. Awesome security. A no frills bar/club/karaoke place that promises strong shots and tons of fun, and delivers on every point. Love!!

I visited Moondogs by suggestion of a friend and it did not disappoint. The drinks were delicious and cheap and my bartender, Michelle, took care of me the entire night. The crowd was diverse and pretty chill for a Friday night. My only complaint would be the music. I enjoy hits from the 2010s as much as the next person but I don’t want to listen to it the entire night.

I went to play pool and have a few beers. The pool tables and sticks were in great condition (rare for a bar). The crowd was mostly 22-35 yrs old and the girls were gorgeous. I Loved this place. The beers were served in pint size glasses too.

Ive been coming to this bar for years. Its always been a college bar where the younger crowd comes to hang out. I came recently when I had some friends in town. This is the first time I ever paid to enter and it was $40/pp. I thought that was a ridiculous amount but we still paid since my friends were visiting. Once we got in the music was great. The drinks were just ok and were about $20 each but we still had a good time. I doubt Id go back because it still wasnt worth the price.

Bars were so over packed you couldnt get to them. Also chairs at the bar is dumb. Not too mention the bartenders cant hear what you order I guess and not to mention no where to park. Park on the street, get a ticket. 10 10 wouldnt recommend.

The last time I went, a girl I did not know approached me and we chatted cordially. Eventually, she brought up politics and we clearly did not agree. Suddenly, she starts pointing at my chest and yelling. An employee came over and kicked ME out of the bar but left her inside, and he would not listen to a word I said in defense. I’ve never been more disgusted with a business’s approach to a male getting harassed (not the other way around), so needless to say I’ll never go here again. And you shouldn’t either!

Missing out if you like to drink, sing, or dance !

This was my go-to bar for a while. If youre not into the frat scene, this is hands down the best bar in Buckhead. The staff, the patrons, the prices, the activities like karaoke, darts, beer pong -- they all make for an excellent night out every time.On the weekends, they get really busy though. Keep that in mind if you like a more intimate bar experience.

Good spot for student crowd and late night parties. The drinks are cheap and good for the price. There is entry fee sometimes during the weekend. Be sure to have some cash. More like a neighborhood bar with good music.

Pretty cool place to have fun. Be prepared to hear the entire album of SmashMouth while playing darts or pool. Theyve got a Kareoke spot in the back and an electric club space in there too.

I visited Moondogs based on a recommendation from a friend regarding their EDM mix scene… somehow I ended up going on a Wednesday night, and since their EDM bar is only open Friday/Saturday Night, I sat down to have a drink… the bartenders were on point, knowledgeable on different drink varieties, and more than encouraging regarding the VAST array of activities available. Overall, comfortable atmosphere, enjoyable ambiance, and with a nice homey-vibe… definitely recommend for unwinding after a day in the week :)

Fun place. Very casual and wide drink selection. Way bigger than it seems from outside. Several different rooms and lots of bars so it is pretty easy to grab a drink. Karaoke room is fun, pool tables, darts, beer pong. Definitely fun for younger crowds.

This place is overpriced and the security working here is useless. This group of girls came up to us and seemed like they were trying to start something. Security for involved and instead of kicking them out for being rude and disturbing us, they kicked us out. The most absurd experience of the year. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND. 0 STARS.

Decent vibes however, bouncer forced me to pay $20 dollars at the door to get in because I was wearing gray shorts. He claimed it was because of a strict dress code, which is described as smart casual on their website, with no actual outline. Bouncer said as long as I paid the dress code didnt matter inside...

Love this place... Karaoke on Wednesdays are always a blast. If you want a more low-key vibe for karaoke go on a Saturday. Great beer! I didnt see or smell the free popcorn a few weeks ago. Is it still there?

The bouncer was absolutely rude in letting us in. Then sought us out in the bar to remove us claiming our IDs were fake even though we are all vey over 21. Would not recommend as the bouncers are clearly on a power trip.

If your looking for a causal atmosphere, diverse crowd, and cheap drinks this is the place for you. I know the business hours have changed in recent months which seems to have affected the crowds but it’s still a found spot for groups or a dynamic duo. Also I recommend trying a leg at one of the dance poles in either the karaoke or edm/pop rooms.

Make no mistake, this place is a dive bar. But this is the most activities/fun/cheap drinks you can find at a dive bar. Highly recommend the karaoke!

Got invited here by a friend who is a local so knows Atlanta well. We all had a great time, good karaoke set up, more than one bar and bartenders were all friendly. Cant complain at all though didnt eat there (not sure if they serve food actually) nor did I order any stupid cocktails....and if I did Id probably got to a cocktail bar and be somebody I didnt like.Oh, the drinks were not a rip-off so that was also good.

This has been the BFs bar for a few years now. And I love that he brought me here Bartenders are excellent and take time to get to know you, Andy is always around and a smiling face. Also its nice because theres multiple bars and tons of things to do between Skee-Ball to beer pong to regular pool and darts you are bound to have a good time I know we always do

This is a fun place where you can hang out with your friends and celebrate all kinds of occasions. Be it indoor sports you want to play like pool or darts, or drinking games like Beer Pong.If you want to just for a karaoke night this place is also great since they have a lot of option of songs you can choose from. There are no private karaoke rooms here so every one is singing the song and the ones on the floor are singing along with you.They have a pretty neat place for the DJ. I went on an EDM night so im not sure what all they place there. You can always find a place to find alcohol since there is a bar in every room.This place gives you a good ambiance so you can enjoy your drinks with friends.The only downside of this place is that they do not have a big food menu just finger food is available. But the bar is pretty much stocked with everything you get legally in United States.They have events that keep coming in which can be seen on their website. Moderately pocket friendly place.

If youre into beer pong and enjoy cheap beer and a not quite like the rest of Buckhead atmosphere, this is a great spot. Honestly probably my favorite place to go out in Atlanta, especially on weekdays. They literally serve free beer I think on Wednesdays until its gone. Wont find better prices and they have tons of beer pong, darts, flip cup, pool. They even have rooms for dance clubs all over that serve a different crowd.

Here now and no where on the placard dress code does it say no sweat pants. The security guard black guy gold teeth said its against his policy but not the clubs policy. Yet all of these dudes have these skin tight pants. He is not sagging or anything. We did follow guidelines in fact security pocketed extra money from my friend to get in.

Ok so this is a good place to socialize with big groups of diverse people. Its not small, but its not huge either. I would say the dance area is more of a bar then an actual dance area. There is a platform on the dance floor with two dance poles. As I said it wasnt large but not small either(not a typical dancefloor)so you are very close to one another. The bar & pool table part is fun and if you enjoy those activities I would recommend here. The drinks were good and the people were diverse- felt there were more guys then girls the night I went. I took a star for space and just because there were not enough girls.

Veritably the best bar in buckhead, has everything you could want. Edm, karaoke, pool and more. The bartender with shorter red hair was one of, if not the BEST bartender I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. If you’re in Atlanta and looking for a good time, go here and you won’t regret it.

So Ive been to this place countless times and its always been passable. As in, barely meeting the requirements to be an acceptable bar. What keeps me coming back is mainly the social setting: pretty cool clientele and a random variety of bar games available. The drinks are cheap, but that doesnt make them good. The place seems pretty dirty but that might be the age of the building showing. All these faults I can forgive but whats put me off is that the last time that I came here there was a line on Saturday night and after waiting over half an hour I was denied entry for wearing training pants! Ive worn similar attire and got in fine and seen people wear less or worse and are able to get in. Like I stated before, Ive been here countless times and spent my hard earned money but you guys just lost a customer and their business for not enforcing a dress code on a consistent basis and discrimination.

This bar is totally awesome. The drinks are good. The food is good. The dancing is good. I think what makes moondogs special is that it has little areas that are all just a bit different from each other so you can get a taste of your dancing, then go play darts, play beer pong, cut loose and have a good time. Also, this bar is next to other bars so its a primo spot for bar hopping. Nice.

I was in Atlanta for work and it just happened to be my birthday!My cousins and I stumbled upon this bar after a few previous failed attempts at finding somewhere to party.Karaoke was sooooo fun!

Spent 100$ to walk out not even drunk. Music was trash. Who plays Justin Bieber at a night club or bar? Like come on. Drinks was watered down as well. Total waste of time and money and moon dogs use to be my #1 spot . I’m sorry but they need to step it up. People come out to dance drink and have a good time. No sit and listen to regular music I listen too on the way to work… on the RADIO… definitely was let down too the point of me writing this review. It’s sad ATL doesn’t have bars that actually play good music to set the tone. Step it up moondogs

This bar is full of college students from Tech, state, and Emory, so its the ideal place to drink with your friends. They also have awesome welfare Wednesday deals where a lot of the bombs are only $4. They have pool, darts, multiple poles, dance floor, jenga, pong, flipcup, really everything youd ever need for a good time. Its a great bar for frequenting when you dont want to get all dolled up to get sweaty. Pretty much no dress code here

One of the few bars on buckhead that isnt entirely filled with douche bags. Great staff, great service and Plenty to keep people entertained.If youre ever visiting its a must see for a casual bar experience. And of youre local, its a fun one that you shouldnt miss.

Fun Buckhead scene and expect college students! Honestly a well-rounded bar with fun activities (water pong, billiards, darts, edm room, jenga, etc). Some nights are very busy and some nights it’s just you and the bartenders. Regardless, it’s well worth checking out.

Moondogs is a dive bar, with EDM, pool, darts, karaoke, and more. In the restroom, the urinal is a thrall with ice in it. There is a minimum $10 charge when using a debit or credit card. Very casual atmosphere. I liked it...had fun there and the staff was very good and responsive. All about cheap drinks and fun at this place. Lots of character and characters

Drinks at a good price, environment is a calm, relaxed, and upbeat place at the same time. Moondogs has a wide variety of things to do while out at the bar pool, darts, big jenga, and karaoke. Everyone that comes leaves the BS at the door and is friendly and there for good times and vibes

Love this place! Different areas to hang around, Wednesday’s and Saturday’s are always poppin’ imo. If you’d like to dance the EDM area is where it’s at, they have a dance pole in there to get down with. There’s billiards and darts if that’s what you’re into and they even have beer pong set ups in almost every section. $1 drinks on Wednesday are the best if you’re tryna get litty on a budget

This was our favorite bar, and we were regulars - up until last night. Whoever the bouncer was on June 17, 2021 was the most disrespectful man I have ever encountered at Moondogs. He absolutely ruined my birthday, which I had been looking forward to spending at Moons with my friends. He denied us under no tangible premise, refused to talk to us like adult humans and find a solution, and proceeded to get in my face and act like I was bucking up at him (verbatim). Obviously, better bouncer training needs to be required. I have never had such a terrible experience at an establishment, especially with it being our go-to place almost every Thursday. We will not be back until that man is gone.

Fun, relatively clean, dive bar! Drinks were cheap and it was a very popular place. Lots to do! Dancing, karaoke, pool, darts, giant Jenga! Will definitely return

Halloween night. Not too bad. First time here. We bought the Halloween tickets online for the Bar Crawl and when we got there its like no one wanted to honor our tickets. It was a big confusion. They closed at 2 but they were holding the line most of the night. By the time we were leaving (around 1:30) they still had hella people in line waiting to get in. We should have gone to the club next door (Hole in the wall) weve been there before and it was LIT.

So I went here for my cousins 21 b-day. I had a blast! Everyone was so nice. I love the Karaoke room. I do tell people before I start singing to let me do it by myself. Lol Other than that, my other favorite part were the poles. What a way to make a woman feel sexy and regretful all at the same time! Lol Definitely going back for my b-day!

Wasnt allowed entry on my birthday because I was wearing sweatpants even though they were designer and I was also wearing a $200 t shirt and $375 custom jacket. Strict dress code is really hurting this location

Its free to get in!!!! the best part plus drinks are cheap and they have different rooms and a stripper pole on a small stage. theres a spot to play beer pong, which my fiance and his friends love, pool tables, a popcorn machine, and two dance floors. ive been here plenty of times! but the only other thing is that now, you have to pay for parking which is stupid but i dont know how much.

Always my first stop on a night out in buckhead, good drink specials! Like the different rooms! I miss the popcorn machine :( but I would highly recommend! Great bartenders! Overall great atmosphere!

Bouncer said my ID was fake. Gladly left the establishment & will not be returning to this bar. I was allowed entry earlier meaning the 2nd time I tried re-entering, the new bouncer was willing to throw his coworker under the bus & get him arrested for allegedly allowing an underage minor to drink & enter a 21+ only bar.

Customer service goes a long way. They have a 4 Room Bar service. Whether it be Edc room, Sports room. Karaoke room, or regular bar. Once its 230 am. They will kick you out! No matter what. I am sadden that my my last karaoke request was not fullifilled. 230 is DEALINE FOR EVERYTHING!

Such a fun place to go at nights. Karaoke is every night but you have to buy one drink per song you want to sing. Wednesday night is student appreciation night, ( $1 vodka drinks are limited so get there early) bring your student ID and they will wave the 5 dollar fee to get in. (its free on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night) theres different rooms for different things. Theres a karaoke room, sports bar room, pool room, dart room, ping pong tables, and a club room.

We were really excited to try Moondogs. Were seated outside ambiance was nice BUT we sat there for AT LEAST 30 minutes. I even called to the server who was very attentive to the table next to us, but she kept walking. Didn’t hear me?! Hmm I wonder, I called more then once. We left! Not happy!

Terrible bar! They charged me an extra $10 at the door because I was wearing swim trunks when I was wearing khaki shorts. Nobody was there when we got in at 12pm leaving us to sit around and do nothing for 2 hours

Horrible experience. The karoake room bartender was awful. She left the bar and I was directed to buy a drink from a different bar and to let her know once she got back that I paid for drinks in order to pick my songs. She told me no I had to but drinks from her only and that I could not do karaoke unless I repurchased from her when I had already spent money at another bar because she was not at hers. We will not be coming back especially if she’s there. Moon dogs is a rip off because karaoke should be fun and not as hectic as it was to try to sing. $10 minimum for cards and they want you to pay this each time you go to the bar. It used to be fun before COVID now it’s a disappointment..

Get ready for $12 pitchers and plastic cups. Its like a frat party, but in Buckhead, with bartenders. Go get drunk, play beer pong with someone you dont know, and stumble your way over to your friends car (or Uber) so you can go to Waffle House at 3am. If thats your thing youll probably love the place. If youre in the mood to sit down, not smell like smoke, and feel good about yourself the next day maybe try somewhere else.

By far my favorite bar in Atlanta! Drinks are very affordable and delicious. There is something for everybody here. Ask for Mike at the bar; he is the sweetest bartender and will make a drink to match your taste buds perfectly! Awesome place, awesome people.

Doesnt allow sweatpants because the owners are racist. Literally overheard them saying the n word before. Doesnt matter if theyre designer sweatpants at all, they dont allow them at all. What rave is this strict? Seriously? And whats the purpose?

Its a fun place to hang out to do Karoake in a very small setting. However I dont think the owner should have his dog walking around while the place is open. Also the bar chairs are in very poor shape so be careful when sitting. I wont be going back I am allergic to dogs

Fun place free games Wednesday

Lots of fun. There area variety of different games to play, including flip cup, pong, darts, and pool. Karoke is a big plus, as it seems to be every night. The only downside is that you have to buy a drink at the karoke bar for every song.

Super fun place for karaoke, they also have darts and pool. Not sure what else, I usually just go for karaoke at the end of a night in Buckhead.There is a lot of smoke here, and you tend to leave smelling like an ashtray. It can also be difficult to get an Uber or Lyft if you wait on the bar to close to order it.

The unavailability of free parking is most likely the biggest downside I found with this establishment. The valet staff however is amazing to counter this previous point they are courteous, understanding and willing to help with finding alternatives to best suit the needs of the patrons. The inside of moondogs is a little of a maze but once you find the right door youre further impressed by the magical world behind.

Hey. Its chill. Just dont go to the bar when its crowded. Bartender gave me a hot beer, and told me its hot in Georgia ..so it was my problem I guess? Then he proceeded to give a totally different beer which I didnt ask for and walks away. But another awesome bartender heard me and gave an ice cold beer.

Had a great time here last night. Special kudos to the bartender in the karaoke room who was friendly and took good care of me, making sure I got plenty of water in addition to the liquor. Ill be back!

I went there on my birthday just wanting to have a good time. As soon I get in I go to the bar. I tried to get the attention of the Asian lady behind the bar and she deliberately ignored and serve everyone around me. My boyfriend then tried to get her attention as well which she ignored him too. I’m so big on customer service and if you want to pick and choose who u serve then u shouldn’t be a server work in the kitchen where you won’t be seen or interact with people.. I will never go back here again. Ruin my whole first experience.. So disappointed

Super awesome bar. We were in the EDM room getting super lit and enjoying awesome vibes. I have a great time every time I come here. Lots of room for activities and music for all sorts!

Marked by its Buckhead location on Peachtree, Moondogs sponsors a variety of well suited music to the millennial crowd. With nearly a half dozen pool tables, beer pong setups, karaoke stages and non-vip booths, theres plenty to get into at this bar. The music youll find here is a mix of dubstep/edm, pop music, rock, and contemporary rap. The crowd is an even mix of Asian, Caucasian, and Black, though it tends to shy on a massive Latino presence. Drink prices are reasonable and you wont feel cheated in the slightest. The bar is usually pretty crowded yet the average wait for a drink is only 45 seconds max. As far as singles, this place sports great opportunities to meet college aged chicks and guys through karaoke, pool, and darts. The crowd is mostly group oriented, since most people arrive with 4-5 friends. Definitely a place to look into if youre in the Buckhead area on the weekend.

Its a really fun atmosphere its a good mix with the crowd plenty of activities to do there drinks are amazing its weird because they dont serve food but overall 👌🏾

Niomi is the best bartender here everytime you come here ask for her, she’s funny and makes amazing drinks.

This place is HUGE! It’s hard to get that small town bar feel in the big city, but Moondogs does this perfectly. The setup is like multiple bars under one roof, and you can bounce around depending on your mood for the the evening.

Had a fraternity event here; great venue. Pool, karaoke, or a dance floor are all available. Reasonably priced drinks; the peach bomb is delicious.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but between the rude staff and some even more rude patrons, this place gets a one star from me. Would be a zero if it could be. Security was absolutely useless in providing help.

Love love love Moondogs and will be back. A regular at karaoke I will be. What a fantastic staff starting with security thru bartender. She was both tender & KJ. What a welcoming experience for all ages 21 & older.

The place is neat with its different rooms catering to different crowds (EDM/house music, karaoke room, relaxed bar area, billiards, darts). The DJs are always hit or miss in the EDM room. The crowd is younger (early 20s). The mens room doesnt have a toilet, FYI.

Valerie is pretty much the bees knees and makes me feel like a special butterfly every time I’m there. Amazing bartender, fair pours, good conversation, and quick attention. ^_^.

Great place to play darts (for free) and it doesnt cost much to play poll either! My hubby and I have really enjoyed ourselves over the last two weeks!!

Music was not good just generic edm. Drinks were not good. Got a beer keg was probably empty and was served with a lot of head. Maybe the girl just couldnt serve beer. The atmosphere was very dull for a saturday.

No. no. no. Your first impression is walking up stairs that literally smell like pee. It made me gag. The place is a maze and extremely dirty. Good luck finding a bathroom, let alone a clean non-smelly one. Yes there is no cover charge, I suspect people would want almost immediate refunds if there was. I left my debit card there, mistake on my end. Good luck trying to get in contact with ANYONE at this location unless you are physically standing in front of them. They have two phone numbers, without answering machines and apparently no one to man them. If you were to send them an email from there website, it would be equivilant to writing a letter then throwing it in the ocean and hoping it got to your friend across the world. pointless. I may just be frustrated with this business, but I will not be going back.

Place was pretty awesome, visited Atlanta for the Peach Bowl between Auburn and UCF (the national champs). Only thing i hated about the place is that there was a lot of cigarette smoking allowed inside. Other than that pretty unique place.

This place is awesome. They gave a karaoke room, an edm room, bar games and great bartenders. There is plenty of space and a diverse crowd. 10/10 a MUST do in Atlanta.

Asked for a pitcher of water. Was refused because the bartender assumed it was for beer pong. We werent playing beer pong. Just wanted it for my group of 7 that had already spent a good amount and needed to hydrate between drinking. Still refused. What a way to support overserving instead of responsibility.

It was fun, billiards, beer pong table, jenga, dancing. All around great place, but also filled with hustlers trying to get your cash while you are drunk. So be careful.

Moondogs is great for private events as they have lots of spaces that can fit any size event and lots to do in all of those spaces. But on a regular night Moondogs is a pretty sleazy feeling place to go. Not a great crowd and it can get super busy.

Great place, had an amazing time! Cheap drinks, beer pong, pool tables, darts... Edm dancefloor section was also nice and had blacklight. Theres a 5 dollar cover after midnight.

Definitely the place to go if youre looking to play games and have a drink. They have pool tables, darts, edm room, and even a karaoke room in the back. Free entree and drink prices arent so bad either. If you do plan to go here, I would reccomend calling an uber as parking is very limited

This is my favorite beer bar that I have ever been too. Amazing selection! 40 taps, tons of heady locals, hard to find crafts, and all of the goto beer that I could ask for. They do have wine available, in case you got a non-beer drinker in your crew. They allow dogs to come visit as well. Best part has to be the people and atmosphere. Each time I ve walked into moondogs, Ive received a warm welcoming. Its a locals bar, but a very social group of regulars. Moondogs is a special place in the heart of Dunwoody GA, not ever going to find a bar quite like this!

There is no food served here, although u could order out, but whats the point. There was a dog on the bar, on top of the bar and the bartender was touching it and I was like now ur trying to touch my lime for my Corona! I just left, thats too unsanitary for me.

Great place for a regular night out on the weekends. It’s a few bars mashed up in one place, so everyone has something to do around the space. The dance floor isn’t good though.

This bar features 4-5 bars inside it. Has a really popular EDM room. That tends to fill up rather quick. They have a large sitting area that can accommodate large groups. Theres also a karaoke room in the back of the bar. Has several games such as flip cup, beer pong, darts and the GIANT JENGA!!Mondogs is always a blast. A perfect fusion of a bar/club

I love Moondogs. Its a great chill bar spot . You dont have to pay anything going in the only thing you pay for is your drinks. Ive had some great nights theyre catching up with some old friends.

Moondogs!? What can I say? Its absolutely perfect. Theres LITERALLY something for everyone. Im not from Georgia and only get to visit Atlanta for work every few months. But Ill tell you what. If Im going to Atlanta, then Im %100 going to Moondogs! 10/10 would and do recommend to everyone I know.

The bartender said my drinks were 16 dollars and when I gave him a 50 he only gave me a twenty, a five, and five ones. I was going to tip him the four dollars anyways, but the fact that he very blatantly stole my money and gave me change as if I was supposed to tip him more made me mad. I do not plan on going back to a bar that will steal from customers

A great place if youre 21.... if you are older than 21, skip. Loud music, meh drinks, lots of kids who barely just sprouted pubes. Ive never felt so old in my life:(

Not my best experience on Halloween 2020, the lines were long & of course getting served at the bar was a longer wait. The Patrons were of a younger crowd and music...not my genre. I ordered the Icetea and it wasnt the usual potent mix.

Dude I drank the whole time and only reached the sweet spot around closing time. Either need to show up earlier or drink more . Either way this place could use more Travis scott for sure. Solid 8/10

Fun bar. A lot of different things to do: darts, pool, karaoke, and dance areas. Only bad part is all of the rooms are pretty small. Can get crowded.

Its a big place with a lot of different rooms, each having their own atmosphere. There are games so it can be a high energy social scene at times.

Visited here on a trivia bar crawl for The Office. The place had changed a bit from my previous visits over 2 years ago...seems a bit more run down. The drinks were ok, a bit on the pricey side. Overall, its an ok place.

Karaoke goer point of view.... random people get up to sing with you... bartenders super friendly and know what shes doing... free cover. I had to find a public street 10 dollar parking...

Do not go to this place its the worst bar ever!!!!!! One of the girl BARTENDERS was very rude and very unprofessional she do not take customer service seriously at all! She was racist and you can tell she did not want to serve us and majority of the black people that do come there are not treated accordingly.

Its smokey inside and youll leave with your hair and clothes smelling. They have karaoke 🎤 edm dance music and pool to play. Crowded on the weekend.

Moondogs is pretty amazing. There are all types of crowds that can found at this place. If you want a bar scene, great. If you want a club scene, even better.

Moondogs is a rite of passage for all Tech students (who party) just as much a part of college life as the shaft, or the fountain. Every bar crawling binge drinking good time either started with or ended up at Moondogs. My roommate, her boyfriend & I were there so much that when they got married in her hometown of Macon in 2002 the bartenders from Moondogs came down to celebrate with us. Just one example of how the small town bar feel in such a huge city as ATL has forged a niche that has proved successful & kept those same customers coming in even as those customers lives transitioned from student to young professional & beyond. Other bars come & go they change hands only lasting a few years if theyre lucky where as Moondogs is a tried & true Bonafide Tech establishment that provides a college town bar feel in a city as large as ATL. Want some true laid back fun? Sick of high cover charges, dress codes & over priced drinks with no entertainment aside from the yuppettes mating dance to attract a mate? Try Moondogs you will love its laid back atmosphere & fun drinking games!

Its looks like a cool hang out spot. They had several different rooms I want to say and bars, with different themes. I will definitely go back.

There’s not actually $1 cocktails on wednesday’s. they run out before 11pm and then charge you $6 for a watered down drink without telling you.

Great Music and many bar games. My favorite is Karaoke and playing on the poles there. I would say Saturday is the best time to go!!

So we showed up at 8:50 and the doorkeeper guy was sitting at the bar on his phone.... not at the door. We were inside about to order drinks and he comes and tells us theyre not open, were still setting up and made us go back inside, as if we would come back... ever.

Theres a karaoke bar, dance club, and two other bars in the same building. Pool tables and darts too. Theres something for everyone in this place!
