VVS Restaurant & Bar

The food is not good at all. You have to pay before you get any food and are unable to return food and make changes. We wanted to get mimosas, to share. We had to get our own pitcher full of get an individual one that was the same price as the pitcher. My friend ordered an omelette with cheese.. She got an Omelette with sandwich cheese melted on top..Seems like this place is all about the money and is not focused on customer service. We will NOT be coining back

My best friend and I went to the VVS Lounge for Dinner and it was amazing! The security was so vibrant and lively we really loved his energy! Our waitress was so sweet and professional! The food was so good we felt like the cook went and hand picked the catfish and fried it to perfection. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of fried catfish and my best friend ordered the shrimp and chicken Alfredo. The drinks were strong and good! We ordered the peach cobbler and it was heaven! It tasted like they hand picked the peaches personally. I will definitely return and highly recommend!

Very cool place to have brunch and hang with friends. I liked that it wasn’t super crowded when we went. You could sit anywhere at this point. The service was decent. They came back often to check on us. Drinks were really good. The fried deviled eggs were perfect. Perfect breading with a great amount of filling. They were better than I thought they would be. The other food was good too but those stuck out the most. Tasty wings. Oxtails we’re not as tender as I would’ve preferred. All sides were really good and flavorful. DJ there was playing some good tunes to give to. You have to pay after everything you order instead of bill at the end so keep your card handy. Nice full wall mirror near the bathroom to check yourself. Overall nice spot and will return. We all left feeling real good!

The food here is delicious, but the service is so horrible here. Takeaway is the way to go if youre in the area. Kudos to the manager for resolving an issue with one of our partys order.

I’ve visited for a total of 4x and I can say that overall the vibe is very cool! DJ and videos are rocking everyone is having a good time dancing and enjoying! Nice decor inside and outside seating available! Could use a little more seating on the inside as the wait can be pretty long on the weekends! Food is good overall, however THE WAIT TIME is ridiculous!! Waiting over an hour for food on a 2 hour time limit on tables is unacceptable!! The last time we was in a section with a party of about 10, 8 of those 10 received their food however 2 of us did not! After waiting for 2 hours I canceled my order and asked to be refunded! Overall good place to party but don’t expect fast food service!

I was geeked to try this place as they came highly recommended. Unfortunately, they did NOT live up to the standards they were hightened at. A group of friends and I decided to go here on a Friday evening during happy hour. We arrived around 5pm and were not acknowledged when we entered the building. When we asked if we were to self seat and confirmed if a particular spot was available for us to sit the waitress (Patricia, i believe, has shoulder-length red dye hair) gave off the NASTIEST attitude and told us you gone have to wait a minute, im busy right now. The place was nowhere near packed. There was a group of women in the booth as soon as you entered, and then there were 3 women sitting at the booth next to the bar, which was where she proceeded to walk. We stood there for about 15 minutes, and she never came back or said anything else to us. The only other employee in sight was the bartender who tended to the group of people sitting at the bar.We seated ourselves and sat until one of us got up to look for additional help. We were told they were in the middle of shift change and would need a few minutes before we would receive service. About 25 minutes later, a new waitress walked past us a couple of times and eventually said hello she would be over to help in a bit. When she finally came to our table she took our order and then said that she wasnt going to put our food right in as she wanted to gather food orders for the additional 3 tables that cane in after us and put everyones food in at the same time although we had been there for a good hour before even being properly greeted and handed a menu.We eventually asked for a manager to complain and was offered a free pitcher of margaritas (when it came out it was the smallest pit her they had in the restaurant) and asked if we could receive the hookah at the happy hour rate since we arrived during that time but never received service and they agreed.When ordering the food, the happy hour menu was not well created. It mentioned food and drinks being one price, but when you ordered it, it was a different price, and some of the small print elaborated that the highlighted price was actually per piece of meat and not total. When some of our chicken orders went in, it was requested for 2 of the orders to be all flats, and we were charged according to that request, but when the food came out it was not as requested.Some of the chicken was also pink on the inside. Honestly, the drinks were the only thing that got half of us through this experience, but I can say that I personally will not be visiting again.I really hope they improve on customer service and the overall quality of the establishment.

The atmosphere is amazing. The decor is beautiful. The food choices were plentiful and the swings were a hot commodity of course. So, we enjoyed our lunch in the comfy booths. Just so y’all know this is more like a club to me…exceptional DJ and videos playing throughout the restaurant/bar. It’s a definitely a vibe if you want to celebrate or party for sure! I enjoyed the fried lobster, fried shrimp, waffle, grits & cheese eggs from the brunch menu on a Saturday. My lobster & shrimp was seasoned seasoned too! Just a heads up you pay in advance for your food & drinks…not my cup of tea especially since you can’t guarantee how long it’ll take to get your food. We waited & waited but our server was the best so, we didn’t push the issue. Definitely worth trying!

Im not sure if this place is a Restaurant/ Bar or Night club. The sign on the door says open at 11AM but when we went at 3pm we were told that they werent opening until 5p. I have been also told that they charge admission fees sometimes at the door. The 1 time I went to celebrate a birthday brunch for my sister the atmosphere and food was Great!. The problem is trying to figure out if you can get in. Has the opportunity to be a great place because the food and food/ drink prices are great but the overall management of the establishment can Make or Break it.

Order a pitcher of long Island ice tea, it took more than 30 minutes to receive, however my our water and my pink lemonade was right on time. The spinach and artichokes dip and chips was magnificent. The vibe/ atmosphere had a Wow factor. Great for a birthday party for the grown and sexy. The 🐬 were on the screen so its a place to watch football with no volume because the dj is doing his thing.

This is a nice establishment, but they are extremely overpriced. I asked for a bottle of water which I had to pay for upfront. Which is no problem. The problem is the water was $6 almost $7 and the water was a bottled water from the local Kroger grocery store. I was shocked and disgusted at this point because that’s ridiculous. I would have felt better if it was a Voss, sparkling water or even Fiji water but to sell me the off brand grocery store purified water for that much is insane. I will not be returning.

The vibes are definitely great!! The drinks came pretty fast but the food took an hour and a half.. the service is poor but the DJ was great as usual.. I give it 2 stars overall because I waited super long for my food just to be served some military eggs from a bag. Yuck.. my waffle was hard but a new one came out pretty quick.

Really didnt eat, but food looked good. Ill try it next time. They were out of titos, buy think I did Grey goose. The swing sets werent for me, but they ladies enjoyed them. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon so not to crowded. And no cover. Ill come back and try food. Its a fairly large venue, so you know they have to cover overhead.

We arrived around 1:30pm on Sunday. We had a party of around 20. The atmosphere was great. The service was slow. We ordered, had to pay in advance before the food arrived which wasn’t a problem. The problem was our waitress coming back multiple times saying they ran out of several items and having to change orders. We were getting half our orders then 20-30 minutes the other portions were coming. Our waitress was really nice and accommodating.

Says hours online and on their voicemail 11am-2am 7 days a week and it’s 12:25am on sunday and they are closed and no response but somehow still accepting orders on ubereats and literally 15 cars are here to pick up food and no one is here

Be careful using your card at VVS they write down your card number and try to use it onDoor dash and other food servicing apps. This has happened to me and 2 other ppl in our group that went . Always use cash . This alone has mess up my experience. We had section so it was our host that had to take or card information down or give card to her peers.

Nicely decorated. To me and my party of 4, the food was blah. One did mention she enjoyed her salad. As for me, not saying the food (I had the oxtail pasta)was nasty or not well prepared, Im just use to high seasoned food, so that may be why its a no for me. This was all of ours first visit. Some say they may return and try brunch. The service was very slack and slow. But happy to have had the experience.

There was an issue from the beginning because the hostess wanted to sit us in an area that was too small for our party. After numerous conversations we finally moved to an area that was big enough for our party. For some reason the servers and hostess was focused on selling us a bottle. Getting our food and drinks was really slow and our server rarely checked on us. Then the hostess who walked passed our table rolling her eyes came back to say our time was up. Why? It’s empty in here. Oh yeah the server says her friends are on the way. Very unprofessional employees with mediocre food. I won’t be back. I could have had more fun chilling at home. We are in a recession and I take spending my money with any business serious. I seriously doubt that I will patronize this business again. The manager tried to make the situation right but this seems to be an ongoing issue. Much better service and and atmosphere at 404 Restaurant in my opinion.

I love this place very good food, music, and drinks. I know Atlanta has a lot of restaurants but I would rate this as one of the best food places. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars😉

I’m right in this complaint because the owner of disestablishment is greedy to his own people the fact that you overcharge for drinks and food and then on top of that you have the nerve to charge people $20 to get in an establishment is insane. I have to pay $10-$20 to come in and order food, then on top of that the bartenders are very rude. The food quality is decent however they charge $16-$18 for a shot of liquor. I will be filing a complaint against this business about charging people to get in a bar restaurant establishment. this is not a club. You cannot buy low charge people to come in in order food and have drinks.

VVS Restaurant & Bar is truly an excellent place for food and music lovers. I had my dinner at the bar. The swings are a vibe of their own. The ladies at the bar are very nice and helpful with food recommendations. VVS is definitely the #1 place to be on the Southside.

Food & waitress were great. I just did not like that the table sit very low. We had to hold our plates & eat.

The food was great. The atmosphere was LIT... The only thing I didnt like is you have to pay for your food before you get it.

Place is very nice the only thing is they need more people. I had waited over an hour for boneless chicken tenders. Besides that bartender was nice.

I came here for brunch. The shrimp and grits are wonderful! The bartender was reading a book most of the time. Alvin,the manager,is super nice.

My friends and I went here to chill and have a night out of fun!!! It was amazing! The women who work there are dressed like strippers and I loved that part! Strong drinks and a great place to go and just unwind! And the food is also very delicious. I will be back!!!

The fried green tomatoes were cut slightly too think and it tasted a bit bland but otherwise it was good.. Also the Alfredo was good and the toast was perfect. Music may be a bit too loud but it’s a very nice atmosphere and vibe and the women are nicely dressed as well :)

I have been going to Vvs for a while but I was not pleased with my visit. The waitress took our order and I am applaud at how we were treated. I gave her $100 and she gave me $60 and held on to the receipt. Once I asked for the receipt she then I noticed she kept $8 I originally was going to tip but why not give me my exact change and let me decide. We ordered a hookah where she told us to either cash app her $50 or give her $50 cash. We cash apped her no problems. She then brought the hookah out (not blowing smoke out at all) and told us if we wanted to order anything else go to the bar. Highly unprofessional. I asked for the manager where I was told the hookahs are $35 and they do not accept cash app as a form of payment. It took 20 minutes for the server to send the extra $15 back. I ordered my food at 12:51am and did not receive my food until 1:40am. If I would have never asked for the manager the second time I would have never received my food. I’m disgusted at how we were treated.

It was such a fun, exciting vibe especiallythe MC GiGi Dinero was hype and giving Birthday shout outs!!! It was clean and inviting atmosphere. The chicken wings , tenders, greens, and fries was fresh, flavorful and plated well. The drinks affordable. Music by the DJ kept us dancing! Highly recommend!

The food is good. The restaurant seating is horrible. They made most of the floor sections which start at $400. The tables in the section’s is not THICK PEOPLE FRIENDLY!

The worst service I have ever had. We met a group of friends that were there. It took 20 minutes before someone took our order.. Order drinks and food. 20 minutes later I was given my bill with gratuity added to bill. Keep in mind we haven’t even received our food and drinks. When asked about drinks was told she wasn’t the server, she just dropping off tab..10 minutes later server showed up and stated the bartender was backed up.. Was only quarter of the bar and restaurant full..10 more minutes we got our drinks..I wanted to walk out but keep in mind the tab was paid and we still hadn’t got our food.. When we finally received food it didn’t come out together and was okay at best.. Finally cook came out and informed us they were out of some of the food items we ordered and offered a refund on what they were out of..I wish i could’ve have got a refund on gratuity….

The food was good Ill give them that but everything else was trash. They make you pay for stuff before you get it. And when it comes to the drinks you will regret you did it. The nastiest margaritas ever they made it twice and it was still nasty. But they make you pay before you get the drink so they will not return the drink they just offer you a different nasty drink. Didnt get anything to eat with, they brought me the food without any utensils. Had to go to the bar to get plastic. The music is way too loud and overall not a good place. Me and my guys will spend good money for a good time but it will never be here again. The dude with the locs is cool ans probably the best employee they have

Food is really tasty. Location has ample parking. Dont like the vallet option as its an open parking lot

I’ve been 3 times and I never have a good experience. The first time, my service was decent but the food was nasty. My second time, me and my dude was seated by a hostess only to have the server come tell us that we couldn’t sit there if we’re not paying $800 for the section !! It wasn’t even lit in there or busy. I asked for a manager, no one ever came. The server never came back to the table. Another server walked by, we asked if she would take our order. She was friendly and we tipped her well. The third and final time, New Year’s Eve. We ordered 2 double shots and 2 single shots. Our ticket was $155. The server charged a $40 gratuity. 🤣 The picture is $155 worth of shots. When I say never again, I mean it. Horrible horrible horrible horrible. Food is trash. Service is trash.

Loved the ambiance, atmosphere, and decor! The patio area is well lit with lighting and portable heaters! Very nice. And the menu of food is unbelievable oxtails !😁

It was my birthday on Thursday and I celebrate all weekend. This place used to be Dugan’s and we use to enjoy so much!Last night was a whole VIBE! Thank you to our waitress she was on point!Try the #oxtailpasta it was different but good!

Do not I repeat Do not waste your good hard earned money, Not even Taxes!!So I ordered the chicken wing dinner with mac and cheese, dirty rice and greens. The greens were not fresh, had hella garlic and was sweet. The mac and cheese. Just dont do that again. Im wondering for a meal that cost almost 30.00 to order has White bread and not even Texas toast. Now the wings, i dont know who is cooking and why but stop. The chicken is not seasoned, only the flower/ panko crumbs are seasoned. I hated everything about this meal. The dirty rice must be real dirty and dry because thats how it was served.

We did a couples date night here a few days ago, it was my first time and I actually enjoyed myself. We were lucky enough to arrive early so we didn’t have to wait for a table. The food took a little while to come out, but once it did - I was happy I ordered my selected meal (Oxtail Pasta). The pieces of oxtail were not skimpy and the meat was falling off the bone. The hookah took about 30+ minutes to be given to us. And the drinks were okay, my margarita had a little too much sour mix in it for my liking. However, the DJ knew how to play them hits and kept me on my feet. I would definitely return back on a slow night.

Im starting to see a trend here in Atlanta when it comes to Black Own Businesses the customer service that was provided and certainly when I went to VVS last week with my husband and our friends to celebrate my best friend husbands graduation the environment or should I say customer service was truly not welcoming at all it was lacking. It took about 15 min for someone to come serve us, and the first young lady that came to our table she was not patient she didnt show any type of interest at all to want to take our orders, so she left and never came back and it took an additional 10 min for another server to help us the second server however her present was nice, and she was kind but she didnt come back periodically to check on us. We had to run her down to ask for additional water and coals for our hookahs. This should not happen in an establishment I just dont understand why us as black people treat our own people like 3rd class citizen it should be equal across the board! Regardless of how we look we are professional individuals willing to spend our hard earn money at your establishment but instead of the people you hire going above and beyond to make our experience a great one this became our very first and last time coming to your establishment. I believe that your brand is everything and when it comes to black own establishments like this you should always stay ready you never know who know who but just know we wont be coming back thank you but no thank!

I haven’t been here in a while but I don’t understand why you have to pay first before you get your food and drinks what if I don’t like the food or the drinks. I have been at plenty of five-star restaurant this restaurant is in the hood so please make me understand.

Brunch on Sunday around 5pm was packed. I can definitely say it was good vibe. They have sections all around the lounge. It gives a very nice modern vibe and it has the swinging seats at the bar.The drinks were good and I ordered dinner to go. It was my first time eating turkey ribs, they werent bad but I didnt really like them. Maybe if they were fried it would have been better. My lady had the oxtails, it was good. The only thing she said is that the oxtails needed more gravy.

Went during happy hour and the food was good. Service was terrible. They check the AND scan ids at the door so before we ordered our server asked to see our ids AGAIN because we looked young. Girl, we’re 30. Ordered wings and fried green tomatoes and she came back with our receipt before even bringing out the food. I should’ve waited to pay because they didn’t even have fried green tomatoes. She came back like do you want something else? I should’ve said “I’d like my money back” but i just ordered the lamb chops instead. It sucks because service is everything. Maybe I’ll go next time with a group of dudes that look like they “got money” and they’ll treat us different smh

If I could rate a zero I would! It’s not a mystery that this business is not flourishing as they should have. Great opportunity, great area but NASTY PEOPLE. Attitudes are DISGUSTING! I would not recommend this place to a cat. I will be contacting the better business bureau as they need to learn how to properly speak to people. You can’t open a business and not respect the people who are supporting you. This business will not go far as the energy is off and NEGATIVE. To the individual who decided to be nasty towards me count your blessings love because my ancestors are gonna turn your world upside down. #StayBlessed

My very first 🎉 in the ATL was celebrated at VVS Lounge, and it was off the chain. I would like to thank the manager Toni who help make this possible, and my beautiful server MEL baby u rock💋💋. I wanted to send a special thanks to the DJ who helped by keeping it lit and the flow popping VVS mann💣💯🥰.

My first time coming in here, I’m just going to say that every time I come to the atl now, I’m coming to this place. I do believe they are a dollar or 2 bit pricey but this is a great hangout spot. Music is on point, food is straight. The drinks are strong. Good place to come chill, a ton of big screens, listen to music, eat and drink.

WATCH YOUR MONEY WHEN YOURE HERE! My first time visiting.. atmosphere very fun and lively, food was delicious. my waitress was fine except she tried to keep my daughters ten dollars in change for a tip. (I always tip well). The set up as far as tables, booths and time limits leave a little to be desired. They have a hustle mentality, management and all , but in a not so ethical way. I purchased something for one price on one day and on a less crowded day they charged five dollars more for the same item. When asked why and explaining what the menu says and what was charged the previous day they said the menu isnt always right. Based on the principle of it all I wont return. You all have great food and a fun atmosphere dont ruin it with poor ethical practices

This place is a great vibe & I went in the afternoon!! Our server Diamond was awesome & made sure we were good. I had the Jolly rancher drink which was very good. The food was great & they had karaoke going on. So if youre looking to just chill this is a great spot

I’m here now. I’ve been sitting at the bar for over 45 minutes and I’m JUST now getting my first drink that I ordered 15 minutes ago. There are other guests that seem visually agitated about their service as well. Now granted, the bartender is drowning because she says that she’s here by herself, which isn’t her fault, but this is the 3rd time I’ve been to VVS Old National in the past month and several things have been consistent: No one greets you when you come in, once they see you the bartenders or hookah girls will continually walk passed you as if you didn’t just walk into the establishment, they greet and take orders out-of-order. There were several times where I would order, someone would order after me, and they would end up with their drink first. It’s just not a good look to be perpetually understaffed, stretching your bartenders too thin which makes for bad customer service. If the customer service is going to be this bad, gratuity/service charge shouldn’t be automated, it should be at the discretion of the guests.

I need a refund asap I found a piece of trash in my GREENS in also the FRIED LOBSTER IS WAY TOO SALTY FOR 55.00$ BUT THEM GREENS WERE STILL AMAZING IN THE MAC& CHEESE...THE CLUB IT SELF FOR BEING A 1ST TIMER WAS 5 STARS 🤩

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was absolutely terrible. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff were disorganized and inattentive. It took an eternity just to be seated, and once we were, it felt like we were invisible to the waitstaff.We waited for what seemed like an eternity to place our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold and clearly rushed. No one bothered to check on us during the meal, and we had to flag down a server just to get some water refills.The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was appalling. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice before dining here.0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

You have to pay for everything up front. The waitress stands there until you pay before even putting the order in. I will never come to this place again. Meaning if you order food and drink you pay… if you want to order something else you pay again so they keep swiping your card which cause your card to shut off because the bank thinks fraud going on… yeah it’s too much and the drinks are very expensive for no reason… I just got to the 50 now it’s down the street

Was over charged by over 30$ Bartenders rude. And ambiance is very not women friendly if you just want to enjoy a night of dancing with your man. Food was good tho! Also loved the swinging chairs 😁.

Super chill vibe. Awesome drinks. Good Music. Attended an election victory party here and we had a blast! Will be back to check them out during the week for sure!

You advertised Ladies night free before 9pm and I also had a ticket and the owner told folks there was a $20 charge to get in and we were there before 9pm this is also advertised on the radio on 94.5 this is pure false advertisement and I definitely will not be back. Its definitely not about the money its the principal.

This place used to be so fun. Then one night we went and they started charging for tables. Fine. We could meet the minimum.Then a minimum was for the bar. Then we could only sit at the table for 30 minutes. The rules change every week.Mixed drinks had all of my friends on a--holes and elbows the next day. On top of that, my friend had a party. They charged us asinine amounts to get bottles that never came to the table. Definite decrease in service quality since I first began. The servers and bartenders are nice though. Other places on Old National to choose from and I think Ill do just that next time.

Fun place. Great environment. You may or may not have the fastest waitress. But all around 👍.

Good food and vibe. The menu and drinks are kinda pricey, but the vibe is chill. This is a spacious venue with a huge bar.

Some how ordered directly on their website a $160 meal where the two most expensive items never made it to me. Because I ordered directly on VSS site and not Doordash I have been begging for $70 dollars to be refunded as that was the total amount of the order I didnt receive. Its sad because the food is usually good, but just like the rest of the area you have to question customer service and the lack of attention management has given to this issue. DO NOT ORDER Off VVS site unless you want zero accountability for your order not being fulfilled.

I arrived around 3p…there was only 2 other customers inside. I ordered an entree, a drink and a hookah. The 2 bartenders were walking in circles. I waited almost 30 mins for my hookah and my drink came a few minutes before the hookah (I had already received my food). The hookah was the wrong flavor so I had to wait another 10 mins for a new bowl. Not only that the bartender dropped the lid to the shaker on the floor and didn’t wash it off…just proceeded to make drinks 🤦🏽‍♀️. The club is nice just need better customer service.

This is a cool spot. I had fun. Two things, they have southwestern egg rolls on the menu, but its really spring roll. Also, you have to pay prior to your food coming out, which is weird. Outside of that, it was a cool experience

My favorite bartender Anissa was amazing 🤩!!! The drinks were great! Atmosphere was entertaining to say the least! The cauliflower wings weren’t the best but edible. Overall I give it an 8, we would definitely return!

They charge you per order. If I order a drink, I have to pay for that with gratuity if I want another drink, I have to pay for it again…another gratuity. If they bring you the wrong drink in error, you still have to pay for it and the drink you actually wanted. I try to find spots to take my folks to when visiting and I’m definitely not coming back here. 🤦🏾‍♀️

They were out of most of the food on the menu. The drink wasnt good. Very disappointed

Very nice place but service was not so good. Drink were pricey without any taste nor buzz of liquor bought several different pitchers that could get you feeling some type of way in a good way. But was very disappointed blue mf, long Island, and also all three machines mixed together that they had $75+ none of my party got a buzz. We had to get full out shots $30+×15 was feeling the vibes then. In other words no mix drink I highly do not recommend. Food is okay though.

Ive been going to VVS for years now and the prices for everything have tripled! I understand the inflation situation thats happening right now but THEY ARE CLEARLY PRICE GOUGING!! I WALKED IN TO FIND OUT THAT WE ARE REQUIRED TO BUY A $100 BOTTLE TO SIT AT ANY TABLE IN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT!! Are you kidding me??!! Ive only heard of this in strip clubs! The bartender did not offer a menu option. I asked for a order of wings and a pitcher. She said both would be $25 even. This price included her gratuity already as if she did anything to deserve it. They allowed everyone to stand in the middle of the walk way because no one wanted to pay $100 to sit down. I did not have the option to even buy a hookah since I had no where to sit down! Not to mention all of the broken glass in every other parking spot as I was walking up to the bar. The owner of VVS is getting over on our community and the cars are not even safe outside. I will be telling everyone I know that attends this spot to STOP!! Its 10 other spots in the area...there is nothing they are doing in VVS that will bring me back. And the food HAS WENT DOWN!

Been sitting at the bar for 30 minutes. No bartender behind the bar. No one asked us if we needed anything. Horrible customer service

Theyve figured it all out... Nice up to date place. Nice crowd GREAT food and beautiful ladies. Would go hate ANY TIME Im in town.

Food was good. I usually dont like nobodys Cllard greens but mines but there greens were good. The rib tips were good but could have been a little more tender. The mac and cheese was definitely home made. Drinks where good especially the pitcher of Margarito.

VVS was a nice vibe. Good food, good drinks, good service, and good music. Thats all I can really ask for! Now the only reason this isnt 5 stars is because the wait time for the food was INSANE. Like an hour easily and Im not exaggerating. Not sure if the food was amazing or if I was just starving by the time it came, but moral of the story is - eat before you come. But you will have a good time!

Love the vibe! My drink was yummy I had a Bahama Mama. It was hard getting a hookah and ordering food with the bartender being super busy

Purchases a bottle for 300+ after an hour they told us we had to leave even offered to buy another bottle & the waiter refused to even come back to the table. The fried crablegs w/ blackened lobster tails are excellent. This place NEVER disappoints!

Food was cold. Manager did rectify. Waitress(Phyllisa S) was horrible. Took almost an hour to get an Arnold Palmer. Waitress never brought us any utensils or napkins. They automatically charge 15% gratuity and no refunds. The bartender (Ikea) was good. Wish I sat at the bar probably would have had better service. The Spicy garlic wings are bland, not spicy at all. The crab claws were descent after manager had a new batch made for us because 1st ones were cold. Maybe because waitress took forever to do anything. Do not forsee myself going back.

Went there for my first time last night, The vibe was there, the music was good, the DJ was doing her thing forreal. The swing seats for the bar were different and cute! … But those bartenders gonna ruin the establishment at some point smh, they are rude and purposely ignore you (I had to speak to a customer who KNEW them personally in order for them to acknowledge me) and they refuse to honor the online prices of anything even when it’s staring them right in the face, and when they finally acknowledge you they act like you’re bothering them.. Won’t be returning for that reason alone.

Saturday brunch was TRASSSHHHHH!We waited over a hour for a waitress to assist us, I spoke with the manager and explain to him we have asked 3 waitresses for help and they all keep saying their going to send someone. He instructed we would be taking care of and he would bring out shots, It was been a hour and a half and still nothing, Now we finally got a waitress who seems to be new because we waited another hour and a half for two bottles and a another hour for food.Me or my group of 20 will not be returning!

I went to VVS restaurant and bar . I asked the bartender how much for a Long Island Ice Tea she said $19 so I said nvm I said how much for a Corona she $10 so I said ok . So instead of charging me for the Corona she charged me for the Long Island Ice Tea. She pocketed the $ 9 and the gratuity of $2.31 . I looked at my receipt the next day and seen she overcharged me for something I didn’t get and I disputed it with my bank . I will never buy anything from there again . I’ll drink before I go. Unprofessional

Ordered crab cakes, and they were terrible. They actually tasted like fish. We sent them back but because you have to pre pay for food and drinks they cant take them off the check. The waitress offered to get another dish off the menu. Then returned with a check to pay the difference. The place has no idea of the concept of customer service. Stick to being a club, this is not a restaurant.

So this is the worse place I have ever been. I got here at 12:30 and I am currently waiting for a waitress while sitting outside at 3:00. I went to get a drink because I wanted to try food. The two shots I got came to $67. I feel like they were doubles but who ordeed that? Anyway. Since the gratuity is included that’s why I haven’t seen anyone.Please do better because I would like to try the food because I am a food influencer!

Server took extremely long to take our order. We were asks by three different waiters if we have order yet and they were going to notify our waiter but the last waiter decided to take our order. Then our original waiter shows at our table to asks if we still need to order...no maam.Lastly, I never been charged gratuity for two people, and I would have known if I was giving the full detailed receipt.However, the visit wasnt a complete disaster because the food was delicious and the setup of the bar is nice.

This place is a 10. The food was , Amazing. My bartender Tamera was very nice and gave great service. I ordered the crab claws , Add on shrimp and the Chicken rolls. They were the Bomb !!! Excellent service , food on point.

Attended Vvs during brunch had to ask for my supposed to be bottomless mimosas to be refilled , chicken wings super small , red velvet waffles taste like they just use water, green tomatoes cook with the hard parts, burger not even a attempt to season not even with a lil salt … Waiter didn’t seem to be interested at work she seem has if she was there for the moment . Don’t charge a card fee when paying with cash . Manager little short man nasty attitude don’t even no how he surpass being a manager .Music fine . Valet in a public plaza parking lot please lol

These black ran restaurants are getting ridiculous!!! I would never come back to this place !!! Everything is overpriced and basic . When you sit down and order food before your even comes the waitress is bringing your receipt with gratuity already added , we still wanted to order other food she told us it would have to be on another receipt with another gratuity added … ordered chicken and waffles chicken wings so tiny it’s crazy!!! And since the waist already received her money and tip you won’t see her again we waited so long … never again you people should be ashamed of yourself this establishment is ran horribly

The restaurant had just opened and they were already out of items… ok no problem, understandable…so I got the large rib tips order…flavor was good but it literally was majority large pieces of fat!! I was so disappointed, but I was home already so I didn’t feel like taking it back. The Mac and cheese, egg rolls and my hulk drink were all on point… the place is decorated really nice as well.

The prices are misleading, and the waitress seems to not have a clue when I question her about my bill. 68.49 for 2 Coronas beers, 2 pieces whiting fish, fries, one chicken flor pizza. Theres a credit card fee that wasnt brought to my attention, a gratuity of 8.07. I was not with a group it was two other people on a different ticket. I promise this will not happen again because I have zero plan to go back.

Had shrimp and grits and it wasnt all that. Shrimp was fine but the grits was meh. Stingy with the sauce. They seating is limited (6 tables and the bar) unless you buy over priced sections. Then they put you on a time limit at the tables. Then they make you pay every time you order something which slows things up and becomes annoying.

The food was good. My only nod was that we received the bill and was asked to pay the bill before we even received our food! That was a slight turn off! We did not push back, but I knew it was going to show up in my review.

I went on a Sunday for brunch. Ww arrived and waited at the hostess stand for 20 minutes because no one came to work. The manager finally sat us. The atmosphere was Friday Nite lit!! The food was great. Service was poor. Our waitress never refilled our bottomless mimosas & we waited too long for our food to be brought out. We also had to ask for napkins and silverware (plastic). we wanted other drinks, but the waiter barely came to our table...I would go back, but after Ive already eaten a snack & had a drink

This establishment is so bad that I really wanna give just a zero but i can’t so I have to give it a one. Me and My friend just graduated from college and decided we was going to have a combined brunch so that our friends could come out and celebrate with us. We called in advance and they stated that they don’t do reservations for brunch so we all got up early and drove all the way from MARIETTA TO arrive and the security is stating that the men have to be “25 and older.” I have never in my life heard such a crazy rule and to make that the requirement to enter a FOOD PLACE IS CRAZY. Since when do you have to be 25 to eat brunch food?😂😂😂😂😂 Then the lady at the host stand with her undone hair looking a hot mess was being rude for no reason when all we did was try to ask why is the rule that? Weirdos.

When my group arrived for brunch we stood in line for security to check our IDs to get in. This place needs new security, not well trained at all. I am well past the age to get into this establishment and the security guard decided that my ID was fake and tried to argue with me about it. Not a great first impression at all. Food was okay. A few people got the oxtails and they all sent them back. Not worth it in my opinion.

Seriously if you want a vibe what ATL is all about pull up at VVS. The ambiance is top notch, food is delicious you would think your grandmother was cooking lol ,and most of all the service was great by all beautiful Georgia peaches I highly recommend and will be back again.

This place was amazing. They had swings at the bar for chairs. The music was good. Some new and some old rap / hip hop. Drinks were priced pretty good. A pitcher of a cocktail was only $26. The vibe was really good.

The decor of this place was well done. I enjoyed that more than anything. Definitely a young crowd. If you dont like hookah smoke this is not the place for you. Also, the waitress failed to communicate that you had to pay for food before it is served, so when she plopped down and I mean plopped down with an attitude the bill that included the food that we hadntreceived, we didnt understand. A man whom I assume was the manager come over and apologized for her behavior. Not sure if Id return.

This place is slowing going down. The policies are unprofessional. You can’t seat anywhere for more than 1hr 30mins unless you pay. You have to spend at least 50 dollars to sit at the bar and even then you have 1hr 30mins to sit. The tables are 300 and even when we got the table it comes with a bottle but you can’t pick any bottle you would have to pay an additional 100 for patron or casa migos ect. The place is a complete rip off! Oh yeah and if you don’t buy a section, one of those top tables that sits 3 for 300 or follow the rules at the bar you have to just stand! And there is little to no where to stand.

Cute spot. Food and service were okay ( could have been better but werent terrible). I really liked the decor. The music was really good but one of the speakers went out and it made a terrible screeching sound the rest of my visit. Parking is free during the day (its in the same shipping center as Walmart) but TONS of cars get broken into. I counted more than a dozen spots with glass on the ground. I wouldnt come back just because of that.

Very rude and unprofessional. Prices are not clear and are made up depending on who you are talking to. Was told we had to move out of a section at 6pm because people MAY want to buy a section at 10pm. There was also a $50 minimum for each person when there was literally a total of 10 people in there. Sad because I’ve been here before and had a wonderful time but I absolutely will not be back.

Me and my friend sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. The drinks were good and so was my salmon that I ordered. However in the middle of me swallowing my food, a strand of what I think was at least 22 inches of hair was cooked with my salmon. I was choking at the bar and had to pull that 22in strand from down my throat. The manager only gave me another salmon which I didn’t want another piece just wanted my refund nor did he hear me out at all. It’s like he already had this problem before. None of the servers that were in and out of the kitchen had their hair tied. I love the vibes but never eating here again.

The service and food is AMAZING! The manager with the locs and tattoos delivered TOP NOTCH service. He was very attentive to the needs of not only the facility but the patrons as well. Now on to the food. We ordered fried green tomatoes, egg rolls, chicken tenders, and lamb chops. Everything was cooked to perfect. The lamb chops were the BEST I ever had (and I’ve had my rounds). They were tender and delicate (my gawd I’m having flashbacks). Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience.

So I ate here on a Friday night while waiting on my friend to get off. Staff was super nice, service was FAST, food was TOP TIER, drinks was AMAZING and the atmosphere here was super lit and a great place to come to, nothing but GREAT VIBES… Today which is Monday my card was charged twice , I called and spoke with a manager Isiah, hope I spelled that right. Anywho, turns out it wasn’t a problem on their end. Cashapp had a glitch and was charging everyone’s card. Mr. Isiah was very informative, polite and very helpful with trying to resolve this issue. Kept me posted and updated on the process and made sure the money was returned in an urgent manner. Thank you Sir!! I really appreciate it ❤️. Can’t wait to come back, I look forward to it!!

This my 3rd time coming here in a month. The 1st my cousin birthday on 6/28 wasnt bad bartender was very attentive. Music was just a lil too loud. Their steak fries got me to come back. I came back again on my birthday late night on 7/6. It was way too pack so we ended up leaving. I came back again on 7/26 in the evening on left side didnt even know it was there. It was nice smaller venue but good environment. Our bartender was very friendly and attentive. We cashed out because her shift was ending and they were moving to right side of establishment. This is where my experience turned for the worse. The bartender never checked on us for starters. We were sitting there bout 30 minutes. So started to try to get her attention she ignored me right my face. I wasnt rude or nothing. After trying 4 times to get attention to order. I just said F it and left. I wont let that one employee stop me from coming back to the establishment though. If I see her there Im sure to just walk out the door. Maybe she didnt like Bob Marley I did have the shirt on Lol.

Went on Sunday to watch Davis v. CRUZ FIGHT. wasnt even that packed and service was slow and bad. Food is too overpriced for the quantity and quality. Got catfish nuggets that to about 40 minutes. Mediocre fish, and they add gratuity to every check no matter the party. Ent to the bar and got gratuity. The bar was slow. It took 5 minutes to get my drink after I ordered. Went to one bar and the lady was in her own world and never even took my order after standing there about 7 minutes, and no one else was ordering so I left. Waited owed me 7.96 in change and gave me $7 only. Had to track her down for my buck. Decor is nice but the floor was sticky. They should clean better. I had to wipe my booth seat off. Not in a rush to go back.

Chilled and cute spot. We went on a weekday for happy hour. The food was good, the drinks were okay. Super-friendly manager who cares about the establishment.

I and a friend visited for the first time last night. It was a very nice set up on the inside and out. Security was on lock and there were plenty of staff to provide assistance. However, the food was expensive. My Impossible burger and fries were $17 and I had to ask for lettuce, tomato etc., Corona almost $8 and margarita around $12/13. In addition to this I was told that I had to pay before my order came out. The burger was good though. Also I suggest that they maybe put some tall plants in between the tables outside to create a slight sense of privacy; we were all staring into each others eyes like in a cafeteria under the bright patio lights. Other than that, Id visit again, I just wont go hungry. Drinks only ;)

Always Always a vibe here especially on Wednesdays 😜 this Night my freind& I came on a Sunday night surprisingly it wasnt crowded at all perfect Sunday night chill vibe. The Manger was walking around checking on guest & I thought that was awesome..food is soo good. Try the oxtail & pasta. Chef kiss 💋 .overall vvs is always a vibe. Love love come here!!

Management and security were top notch in service however the dj and overall experience is why I give 3-4 stars. Forewarning events listed may not happen as advertised but management did try to fix the issue and security was also very helpful and friendly but the dj and some of the bartenders need a serious attitude adjustment and were clearly given a pass on how they were perfoming. Yet..because of the positive manager I spoke to and the 2 employees that tried their best to fix any issues, I will attempt this place one more time Ill leave an update on my next experience.

Ooowe if only I got the waitresss name, I dont know if she was overwhelmed or not wanting to work but the service was 2 stars. However the waitress working on 9/20 at 10 pm was a sweetheart ❤️

I was @ Vvs on fri 6/16/23 mec& my Husband came & we went to the out door patio and We ordered 2 drinks & 2 entrees. I waited 45 minutes never received anything so we went inside to see about our order and the female manager came and asked me what happened I told her she said she would come back & she never did just like the server& when I asked the bartender she said the kitchen was closed. This was my husband first time coming to Vvs. I’m very upset will never come back Very poor service and I would have expected more from the manager but poor service from her too..This is sad cause I come to Vvs all the time

The server was really nice. She had Great Attitude. Only thing you have to pay first before your food and gratuity for every thing you order.

If I could I would give a zero. First they have all the parking spots valet except the ones all the in the back by the bushes at 5:00pm on a Saturday. I ask the security at the door and he stated they have VIP ! WTH! The WHOLE PARKING LOT!Get inside and I had to ask one of the waiters who has my table after waiting for 45 mins and no one came over to take our order! Then when the waitress came she bring us water in a baby pitcher for 3 ppl and we cant even get a full glass of water. Then she takes our food order 10 mins after bringing our water and drinks. But exactly 5 mins from taking our food order she brings our receipt stating we have to pay before you bring our food.... what the hell kind of establishment is this! Get me out of this place before I snap. And its been 15 mins and counting and the waitress havent came to even pick up the ticket and payment!I will NEVER BE BACK

Everything about VVS is is amazing from the food to the drinks but you might want to order drinks together because it takes a few minutes to get them.. Next thing if you on a budget this is not the place for you.. No cover charge to get in but they definitely getting it back at the bar..

I’ve come here twice & won’t be back again. 1st time we sat outside & after waiting what felt like forever, we had to call a random waiter over and tell her no one has seen us. I ordered the oxtail pasta and honestly it wasn’t even good, but they make you pay and tip upfront so essentially if you don’t like your meal or your service it doesn’t matter because you already paid. 2nd Time was last week, sat inside on a random Tuesday night and after waiting for like 40 minutes, we decided to leave. Waiters continuously passed us by and made eye contact with us and never sent anybody over to take our order. What’s sad is that it was very empty in there so it’s not even as if they were busy. Instead of calling them over like I did last time, we decided to take our money elsewhere. We ended up going to Fin & Feathers 8 mins away where the service was great and the food was bomb, definitely suggest checking them out. They were playing great music too.

OMG. Maybe Im old or maybe Im just old fashioned. On a Sunday, this place was like a Saturday club. Lol. People were everywhere. The wait for food was an hour 1/2. After the nearly 2 hour wait, the food was really good. I took my order to go after waiting so long but the next day at work, lunch was rewarding. Dress to impress and enjoy the vibe. Great food drinks and they even offer hookah if thats what you like.

Where do I begin? My boyfriend & I stopped here to chill & eat on a Sunday evening around 7:30. We were seated and we had to ask for a waitress. Someone arrived and stated that we must PAY FIRST. We did. We were then approached by a waitress asking us to move to the bar because a large party needed to be seated at our booth. We humbly refused and a hostess came & told us that we HAD to move. We were trying to leave but the card was charged. The manager then said that he could not refund us.AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!Awful customer service and a lack of common sense.

Last evening was my first time visiting this restaurant and bar. I must say we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great the music was good. It wasn’t over crowded. It was a really good vibe and best of all was the drinks. We will revisit soon.

I thought the place was nice. I would say hit or miss with the bartenders or servers. The first bartender was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately her shift was almost up and she had to close out. The next bartender displayed attitude and never acknowledged thec presence of the customers in regards to asking if we needed anything. But overall I wouid say its okay. Most of the servers most time dont seem very happy or friendly.

$24 for a shot of Hennessy? The shot was $18 plus grat. To be on the south side that is very pricey. Entire staff was rude except security. Very money hungry. Food was cold and bland. Fights broke out in the parking lot.

Got an email for an interview and got treated like a hopeless slave...these black owned restaurants in Atlanta are so weird and they have no idea how to manage. The lady conducting the interviews with the letterman blouse was extremely rude. I see why nobody wants to work there lol.

The seating was limited and kind of hectic, but all in all it was a good time. The drinks were AWESOME and the atmosphere was grown and sexy. I enjoyed myself and sure you will too.

Be careful about ordering to go. They only gave us half of our order and a month later we still havent been refunded for the missing item which they admitted they were out of.

Ive never been to a restaurant/Bar & had to pay for my food/order before I received it, not only was my food overcooked but it was COLD!THEE BATHROOM 🚻It was the absolute worst ladies/ mens room that I have ever been in, in a restaurant. There was no trashcan so people were putting there used paper towels on the counter top. There were used feminine products on the counter top as well, I completely lost interest and my appetite 😕, not only will I recommend this disgusting facility but I will not ever patronize this place again. I took my food give away, but then I thought not even the less fortunate deserved that BS! TRASH. I recommend the state health inspector make a visit.

My husband and I ordered food and drinks and Deenay brought the check Out as soon as we ordered no food or nothing, I wanted more drinks and an Appetizers and she says she has to close tab and do anther one.. this is crazy. To be honest, this place is for ratchet people who want to feel they are at an upscale place. Name a place that makes you pay BEFORE you receive your drink/food. The truth is the place is the epitome of hood and the prices are well OVERPRICED. If I’m going to spend $50 for a lamb dinner, I expect white table cloth service. Basically, I will stick with Ray’s on the River. Where you actually get what you pay for.

Good food and music but customer service sucks. Seating arrangements could be better. I saw two gentleman sitting at a booth for more than four hours and purchased maybe two drinks but when my party of six came we were seated at a table, we all purchased food and drinks but was only given 1 hour 30mins to sit.

Came in for my friends birthday. She had a nice section. It was R&B Wednesday. Our server was sweet, food was good and all the staff, especially the security, was very helpful. Nice vibe and definitely worth a visit

I don’t understand why this big boned bartender coco is hating as soon as I walk in the door .she saw me and said NOPE I’m not doing my job today . I sit at the bar and she doesn’t take my order or give me any any contact for ten minutes and she is not busy . This was the first red flag . After I finally get her attention to place my order so told me the kitchen was closed before 12 pm. I calmly remove myself from the swing set to find a manger and ask him if the what coco said was true . She told me the kitchen was backed up by an hour and 30 minutes and I could tell by her demeanor that she just didn’t want to take my order. By the time I find out the she was lying . Coco was twerking on the bar happy because she thought I had left . So I waited for the funky Cookie Monster to stop twerking in my face to tell her that the kitchen isn’t closed according to her manager. After she twerked she strutted down to the end of the bar and stayed there so that she couldn’t serve me . I had to go outside to calm down I didn’t understand why the waitress was mean to me from the moment I walked in the restaurant. So At this point I Since I caught her in a lie she took my order and Can you. BELIEVE that this hateful female tried to overcharge me for a ribeye. Her ticket came up to $66 and I always get the same thing . I told the GREMLIN ITS FINE !!! close the ticket . SHE REALLY TRIED TO OVER CHARGE ME FOR MY FOOD, which is always $58 . In fact the waitress Taylor rung me up and my food came up to $58 . The big boned waitresses in the front. With the sweated out weave must have some self esteem issues . not Only did she disrespect-me by Twerking in my face knowing that she lied to me and I’m trying to place an order , she overcharged and guess what she also threw a hookah Tip on me after I went to another bar with 100 dollar bill and tip the waitress Taylor Very nicely for not being a jealous woman . There is no reason that an adult shouldn’t want to serve a customer and they DEFINITELY SHOULDNT ASSUME THAT U WONT TIP .

The bartender had a nasty attitude then walked away and whispered to the other bartender something then she said who them both turnt and looked at me. I gave 3 stars because the food is great!!!!however, the service on the bigger side sucks… The bartenders cater to people they know or they are smoking hookah and in their phone. I waited almost 20 minutes to order a drink and the place wasn’t crowded. I had to ask an employee walking by to tell the bartender that we want to order food and drinks… She finally came I ordered my drink and she walked off to the register before I could order my food and then my mom could place her order. She came back I ordered my food she walks off in a hurry again. We have someone get her again to complete our order and when it came out my moms food order was wrong… VVS is a beautiful establishment and food is delicious o mean everything. They need an entire new staff of bartenders… I am going to start ordering DoorDash and picking it up or I will eat on the smaller side… I will not be back on the other side…Also what’s with the charging people to park in a free lot just because it’s Sunday? We are coming to spend money in the establishment and it’s a shopping center parking lot. Is that even legal ?Even if it is, it was raining that day and my mom had on shoes. To make people walk in the rain or pay $20 to park because it is a certain day of the week is crazy. All we wanted to do was sit down and eat and order a few drinks. Shouldn’t have to pay to park to do that.

Vvs is all about money!! They not fair when it comes to them lil tables they want $300 for it’s so embrassing when u get a table for a hr n a half and they make u get up just for somebody else to sit.. it already take damn near a hr for your hookah and food so then you’ll have 30 mins to enjoy. Then you’ll have to get up with your hookah , pitcher, and food with nowhere to go. It’s embrassing and if you know somebody else at another table they still won’t let u sit with them smh never again!

Terrible...spinach artichoke dip, had large amount of clear slimy substance floating on top. Unappetizing.Beer served in small plastic cup cost $8.25. One sip, flat & stale taste, could not have been a Heineken, which is what we ordered. First & last time, not returning....$26 wasted.

I went in there and fell in love with their decorations. I thought it was nicely done ✅. I believe that it captured the name of the place well. I enjoyed my short time there. The food looks delicious 😋. The atmosphere was laid back. Everybody looked happy.

Its cute but I would NEVER come here for another concert/event again. Its poorly planned and way too small to accommodate seeing any artists here. They would do better to inform standing room only guests that youre relegated to standing in the FAAAR BACK of the club where youre still forced to move every few seconds to make room for passing bottle girls and patrons coming in the door, from the bar and bathroom. Ive honestly paid less to SIT than I have paid to stand in here. I think Silk/Pleasure P fans deserve better(who were came to see tonight Also if we could even LEAN on something they wouldve gotten more of our money because then we wouldve wanted to buy food or drinks.Nah, this aint it, fam.

Wat up doe my baby.. This place was lit. I really enjoy myself here. The vibe was on point and the food was great as well. Didnt have there drinks cause I pop a bottle lol. Its was no cover charge what a huge plus for me. All and all I cant complain. A lot of places to park. Anything else go find out for yourself. You feel me!

Went there on a Sunday brunch October 23 and paid for this VIP parking. Walked inside and spoke with a hostess.. There was nowhere to sit so we walked back out. The vip parking attendant stated I will call Al Alston to refund your parking fee. He called the guy and the guy stated he was refunding us for parking . 2 days later still no refund. They need to have better communication with the parking outside beside the local law enforcement sitting out there. If it’s nowhere to sit shidddddd let people know before paying to park. Last time we will go. Ages inside look like 30 and under ..

Tbh the service was sub par. If the women didn’t look how they did I’d be completely disappointed. This is one of the places that brings you a bill before a plate. Atmosphere is what you should expect from a lounge/restaurant in Atlanta. $30 tequila shots or $12 whiskey. And do not have expectations for the food.

I like this place. Cool vibes...swings for seats good music and hookah. Tasty food options. I just dont appreciate that you have to get a section to enjoy the restaurant portion of the lounge

Great vibes, great food, and bar waitress was awesome. Prices was good. First time trying fried deviled eggs 10/10 !! Chicken wraps, spinach dip & lamb chops was a hit !!

I ordered online for carry out they only had half of my order but I paid in advance and they told me to dispute the charge on the website like there’s no way to get my money back on the VVS website. Now I have to dispute this thru my bank for half of this order that I didn’t receive.

I own 2 businesses out of state & drove here bc I heard good things & also had great experiences 2 previous times. I was treated like an invisible man at the bar, while others were served to the left and right of me... what a disappointment. The owner approached with a fendi sweater and cuban link chain & spoke to the bartender but the situation was never rectified. I was in Gucci head to toe, didnt look broke lol 😅... She tossed a bar scan menu at me and that was it. A whole joke! I left and headed back to South Carolina, I dont need this!!

We dined inside, very nice, clean and upscale sports bar. Huge wrap around tv screens, comfortable furniture and the best thing going is the food. The food is beyond delicious. I took some friends from out of town. The food and the vvs itself made a huge impression. I would recommend this place 10 times out of 10. The owner has another spot called the ubar. The food there is equally good. Swing by

Went Wednesday night r&b music was very nice .But having to get up from ur table after 1.5 hr and it’s additional $50 an hr is freaking ridiculous! Also. The lounge sofas $300 & $400 to sit at is freaking ridiculous who they think T.I , jay z & Beyoncé coming in there spending that kind of money! So sad these people keep taking advantage of the economy and price gouging!!!

Hands down the best impossible burger Ive had, very well seasoned, bartenders are experienced in the art of mixology, could be slightly more friendly.

We were there for Teacher Appreciation week....food is excellent 👌 kudos to the chef(s)....Service sucked (not enough servers for the occasion). Too much azz showing for daytime folks.....felt like I was at the Blue Flame/Majic City Club.

Atmosphere was great, service was horrible had to wait forever to get service then she mixed food up and checks multiple times. My friend food never came she ended up going to popeyes. I ordered the whole wing dinner with mac and cheese and mash, like how can u mess that up? No flavor the bread on the wings was nasty, mac and cheese tasted like it wasnt even baked.

Great place & great customer service. I picked up an uber eats order. They prepared on time & called the customer to let them know uber sent me to wendys first. VVS seems amazing & I cant wait to eat here soon myself!!!

We waited 2 hours for Shrimp Etouffe, A burger and some shrimp , and watched everyone who came in after us get their food. We weren’t rude or anything, but if we came off as such, it wasn’t on purpose. And since there’s no refunds we had to wait for almost an hour for someone to come and throw my food and walk off without making sure we were ok. Never again with this place.

They security was being rude I would not recommend nobody come here at all!

This place has some AMAZING FOOD . Ok , so I like to do REAL reviews . My friend had order some fried green tomatoes and I ordered the catfish nuggets (both appetizers) ! Those green tomatoes was A M A A Z I N G! They were cooked just right , the tomatoes was good and crispy . Thick , yes amazing . Catfish nuggets were good as well . Crispy on the outside , meat is fluffy and so meaty lol ! My other friend ordered the lemon pepper rotisserie chicken, y’all THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD . Most rotisserie chicken is dry and you may get a some what moist one in stores. At VVS that chicken so damn good and tender ! Oh the seasoning was ON POINT ! I got more than Lp taste but I was soooo good ! So my second friend (it was 3 of us) bought the oxtails …. GOODT !! A lot of meat just enough fat but the fat did not out so the meat and it wasn’t too greasy …. Didn’t care for the Mac but hey I will definitely give it another shot being how everything else was lacking NOTHING ! Lastly I ordered the shrimp and grits & YALL IT WAS SOOOO GOOD ! The cream sauce they place in top of the grits and shrimp just added the extra boom that was already on the plate . The grits was sooooo creamy and tasted like no other grits I’ve had in a restaurant . My grandma grits are still the best lol . HOWEVER on Sunday Endless mimosas sounds great for $15 right …. Wrong … I was soooo sick later that day because of it whooooo so stay away lol food wise A PLUS . Music A PLUS and the bartender was super sweet . Definitely Will be back !!!!

Had the worst experience at VVS last night the one of the ladies that was in all black kept keep tabs on me and my party and said we only had a hour and a half to sit at the table that I waited 20 minutes just to get. Then the host didn’t come check on us like that had to wait on ask another waitress for help and when my party and I was told we had 8 minutes left to sit a our table and that we wasn’t spending that much money to keep the table but we never got a chance to eat, drink, or dance it was my bday night and the whole experience was awful.

It was a vibe but DO NOT ORDER FOOD !!! They make u pay for everything before the food comes I spent 100$ plus gratuity of 15% that was added to my bill and a 2.00$ Covid charge (guess we are paying to get Covid) I ordered shrimp an catfish my catfish wasn’t done it came on a plate laying on a bed of rice with shrimp on top. I asked them to remake it and they brought the plate back with the fish swapped out and nothing else CROSS CONTAMINATION ! I talked to the manager she had them remake the whole plate this time the fish came out fried instead of grilled like I asked her. The waitress then brought another piece grilled which also wasn’t done. I didn’t even eat my food 80$ I spent on food down the drain !! SMH never going here again. Service was already slow but they con you into paying first because their cook obviously can’t even cook the food all the way thru

VVS Restaurant & Bar was pretty good overall. In my experience, the food is a bit overpriced and the service couldve been better. But the music was on point & I enjoyed my time out.

Decor is beautiful, free entry and parking. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is bc there is hardly any inside seating without having to pay $750-$1k for a section. The food and drinks are good.I would go back.

Im from the Southside, so I wasnt expecting to much, but I was presently surprised. Got there early enough to get a swing. Food was expensive, but good. Waitress was cool, hookah was good. Music was awesome.

It is always a great time when I come through. If u r not n2 ATLANTA music, it is not the spot 4 u. I did ask 2day 2 get a specific song and they played it so I will say they were accommodating. I had fried lobster tail and waffle from the brunch menu and it was very good!

I had a great time. I was there for a bday gathering on a SATURDAY night. We had a reserved section with bottle service. Music was vibing. Wings were good. Plenty of security in the parking lot and the building, i felt a lil safe on OLD NAT. I read the bad reviews but i think the place was cool.

Arrived at the restaurant at 9:30pm..... didnt receive a server until 1015pm who was Michaela.. we placed our order and didnt get our food until 1145pm. We also ordered a hookah at 1015pm... never received it. I asked for a manager at maybe 11:20pm.. he came out and i explained everything.. I did let him know that we were there for almost 2 hours.... half of us received our food and we never received our hookah. He acted like he was concerned ..... then he disappeared!!! Never came bk.... didnt follow up with anyone about our food or service. We were extremely disappointed in the service that was provided.....

I was surprised, food here was really good and came in hot and fresh! Service was pretty fast to be honest and music was pretty good. I enjoyed it- good atmosphere for a Sunday Brunch

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The prices are ridiculous and the audacity to charge $20 for parking and the server comes and rushes you out after spending a $100+ dollars; saying the time is up and you can’t take your drink out. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Get the chicken & waffles! Them fried chicken wings was hands down some of the best I ever had. I sat at the bar. The bartender was very professional, kind, & funny! I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

WAY OVER PRICED!!! Delusions of Buckhead in a College Park setting. $22 for a SHOT of Hennessy!!?? I left and went to the liquor shop down the street for a FULL BOTTLE (which I still have over half of left over a week later) then Walmart for food items then home to cook for myself because ALL THAT cost WAY LESS than one SINGLE lunch would have been here. I respect the owners pricing point BUT the owner obviously has no respect for their demographics. I suppose thats why it was DEAD EMPTY the day I went in. I also would guess that this place only sees a busy time on weekends and at night. Doesnt matter because Ill never be back. I was thoroughly UNIMPRESSED for the prices in such a location. The swings at the bar were a cute addition though. Was the best thing in there.

Do not order online or through doordash or Uber eats. They don’t have the equipment to accept the orders but they are still taking the money and you’ll have to refund it through the app which can take 3-5 business days. Screams scam ! But do not order online !! The app will tell you they accepted it and shows the driving tubing to you with your order and everything then says your Oder was in a safe location and complete but NO ORDER. Be aware

The Very, Very, Special bar was just that. Al has delivered once again. 🥰 This looks nothing like the old Dugans on Old National. It is now an upscale restaurant and lounge, which was much needed on this side of town. Security is top notice. The restaurant has been fully renovated and the swings at the bar are too cute. I was there for a fundraising event to re-elect Marvin Arrington Jr to Fulton County Commissioner for District 5 and the host truly set it out in this private party entrance which was very, very special. 😛 See how I did that. Lol

I attended on a Wednesday night which was R&B Wednesday did not play to much of R&B music but over all it was a nice please if you trying to have that club experience on a Wednesday night.

Trying to support local businesses in So Fulton is extremely difficult when the service is horrendous. Extremely sloooow waitress to have a nerve to get an attitude because youve been waiting 40 minutes for some juice. To add insult to injury, after waiting over an hour for food, it served barely warm!!!! Overpriced menu for nothing!!!!

Cute set up on the inside but $14 for a shot of crown and coke is beyond me. Ive been to plenty of bars and never paid that much for 1 shot. Needless to say, that was our first and last visit.

They give you a QR code to scan for the menu. Yet they give charge you another price when its time to pay. This is false advertisement! Peach cobbler says 10.99 but I was charged $16! I come here often but this is bad business!

My food was delicious I got the turkey rib dinner it was good my friend liked her food as well she got the gumbo it was on point the stars are for the food but it was dead in there nobody was in there the set up was cute but Noone was in there are waitress was sweet but it was cool for what it was worth

Well I had ordered two meals chicken pasta 10-piece wing didnt hear very much from the waitress because she stayed on her phone with Georgia at the time food was very greasy and dry and no sauce to taste the garlic we paid before we ate they say its mandatory that we do that gave her her tip and the money so as soon as we got our food she dont have to talk to us anymore I didnt like the food then like the experience

This place is a ripoff. Everything is overpriced. A friend of mine had of party and the section was $500 not knowing they closed up at 12 when we just arrived at 11. 10 wings with fries is 17 dollars . Dugans should’ve stayed there
