Adult Nights are great. The atmosphere was very relaxed. All the adults seemed to be having a good time. I’m not the best skater, but this experience made me want to get back to roller skating.The music was appropriate and had a mix of all genres.The staff were nice and friendly. There was adequate seating inside the skating area and general event space.

Friday adult nights vibe was relaxed. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. It honestly reminded me of how skating used to be where you could approach anyone to skate.Music could be better but its actually better than some other places Ive been around the country.The staff and patrons were nice.The seating areas were creative. I suppose thats because the building was repurposed to be a skating rink.The floor is not wooden but it provided grip for me even though my wheels are harder (slipperier) than most wheels.I look forward to going back.

Had lots of fun here for adult skate night. The place is just a bit run down and needs a deep cleaning. I guess some might think the grime adds to the retro charm but I left feeling kind of dirty. About every surface I touched was sticky, greasy, dusty, or just plain dirty.There also appeared to be some kind of leak in the corner of the rink? They kept the corner coned off and they had to keep wiping the floor.Despite all of this, I had a lot of fun with my friends. Cool atmosphere with skaters of all levels. I liked the music and lighting. The staff seemed nice enough and I got my skate rentals super quick.

Fun safe place to bring the kids, I like that they check everyones temperature before you get in. They check everyone white, black, or hispanic doesnt matter what race you are no discrimination. They have lockers to rent for only .75 cents music is good nice constipation stand lots of places to sit down when your legs need a break. The restroom was clean and from what I could see the rest of the place was clean.

This feels like one of the last remaining true South Austin entertainment spots. Weve attended a handful of special events and Adult Skate Nights over the years.Adult Skate is pretty chill, especially compared to the more crowded Playland up north. Other guests are generally friendly, eager to help, and kind to other skaters. If someone knocks you down, three more will skate over to help you up. Its refreshing to see adults of all ages having a good time. Adult Skate is BYOB - and that keeps us coming back, too.Front host staff is always super nice - another big win.Not so great stuff - theres not always a variety of music played. They often stick to one genre in a night. Id love to skate to a mix of classics and new music in every genre. Thats prob the the biggest bummer for me, and some of the arcade games, quarter machines, and drop claw games are often empty or out of service when we go.But, overall, its a good time. Nice staff, friendly guests, good policies. Would love to see it get some extra love and upgrades in the future.

Ive been back here several times for classes with Stephanie, shes the best! Its a great learning environment with friendly and supportive people, I highly recommend it if youre looking to try something new!

It was my first time roller skating and it was fun. The place was big enough. The skates were well maintained. Friendly staff and very affordable prices. Loved it.

Please get in touch with me specifically about the manager Beth. she has repeatedly made us feel unwelcome even though we spend a lot of money at this establishment. it’s gotten to the point where i believe that she is specifically targeting LGBT+ and minorities. we come with large groups of patrons (15+ people at a time) to this establishment to partake in our favorite pastime which is skating. me and my group of friends are all apart of the LGBTQIA+ community and every single time we have paid to skate here, beth has made us feel unwelcome. even kicking me and others out of restrooms when we are just going to the restroom (without skates and in our tennis shoes) saying we are in the incorrect gender specified restroom without knowing our presenting identity. this “manager” always has something to say to paying patrons just trying to have a good time and following all rules. this night was the last straw when she targeted us for drinking water, claiming we were drinking something alcoholic. this person has no use in customer service as she has made us leave unhappy and with complaints every single time we have been here

This was my second time at this place. Always fun! Does get hot inside though but otherwise still a fun time. I love that they have adult nights too.

Fun rink that reminds me of old Austin with how grimy it is.Only down side is that the rink is concrete and not wood.

Glad that it exists and that people like it. Personally, I cant stand the music during adult nights. More variety would appreciated :/. Pretty ghetto rink but thats part of the appeal to me. Snapshot in time.

Skate culture typically represents kindness and community. Just look at the way the owners respond to criticism. I would not patronize this business. Time and money can be better spent elsewhere.

Pretty chill spot. Not quite as nice or large as the ones I grew up going to in North Austin but a lot of personality, good music and nice staff. Had a lot of fun skating with my daughter. Apparently they have BYOB adult nights which sounds dangerously awesome.

They have some chubby referee woman being bossy to kids & parents. We ended up leaving because of how she treated my daughter and myself. I had to tell her to relax like 10 times till a supervisor that she didn’t know was right behind her shut her up by letting her presence be known. You work at a roller rink hunny, there’s kids that don’t know how to skate and parents being parents. You’re going to try that attitude with the wrong one someday & it’s not going to end well for you.

Wow....what a fun place! Kids had a great time. Adults even better time. Friendly staff and place had a super old school vibe. You should definitely try it!

My daughter, girlfriend and our friends had a good time. The only complaints I have are that they kept the roller rink floor dark the entire time and the floor seemed to have some ripple to it.

Came here for 2 birthday parties. They were really busy, and packed. The rink is small but good, they have a sort of island in the middle, there are all type of people here. They do have certain rooms you can rent to host a party.

Been coming her for a few years on adult night.Definitely not a place I’ve ever experienced any issues with race. The music is lit and the culture is supportive.I lost a nut and bearing once and the whole place stopped to help me look.I enjoy my time here every time.

As expected! Get some skates on and try not to fall! Clean enough bathrooms and other areas. Adult night was not too crowded, and there were folks of all skill levels. Fun little activity for a few hours. And BYOB & food.

It is the only place Ive been roller skating. I love the place and the atmosphere of the rink is nice. I learned how to skate there and I have been to a ton of birthdays there. I really recommend coming here.

Went during the 18 and up hours (10pm-2am), had a lot more fun than I thought I would. It was a 80s theme and song requests were allowed but it was fun learning and then just roller skating. The place definitely is old but definitely worth going to for a fun night and partial leg workout

My son received skates for Christmas, and we went here for the first time. When we called to check hours, the customer service was great. We arrived to find the place was staffed by young adults who were professional, VERY engaging with kids and adults, and passionate about skating. The rink is a converted warehouse, but you cant really tell once youre inside. The review loses a star because the floor is rough, which for new skaters might provide better grip and less slipping/falling? Otherwise the vibe was awesome. Staff took time to talk skate brands with us. We will be back soon and often!

Average roller skating place. Older building that they have remodeled. Be ready for leaks, dripping faucets, just old in general. However, There are not many roller rinks in area. Party rooms are pretty small, which is normal since roller rinks are older. Be advised that they wont allow a small cake even if youre just going to eat with immediate family, which is normally allowed with the majority of similar facilities (Peter Piper, Gattitown, Chuck e cheese, Urban Air etc.) Customer service is below average. Will come back only of my kids get the urge to roller skate, which isnt often.

We had my girls birthday party there and I cant speak more highly of the staff. They are amazing. Thank you for your support you guys rock.

They offer no vegan food options but wont let you bring in outside food. I brought my daughter here and I had to eat in a crowded entry way while my daughter tried to get her skates on as people walked over the top of her. How is that safer or smarter in any way whatsoever than just letting a parent bring in a small bag of personal food so they can help out their daughter. Rules and bureaucracy getting in the way of really basic common sense safety improvement. I will never come back to this place. Ever.

The birthday we went to was fun, but the machines are rigged to not give toys, even when you actually grab the toy. Perhaps the owner should remove it...Theres a chemical smell in front and the carpets are questionable. Place looks straight out of the 80s, but if thats what they were going for, they nailed it. Some staff were nice. The lady who was giving skates looked like she did not want to be there.

Had a birthday party here for my daughter, was so much fun, the room was spacious, came already decorated for you, and prices were reasonable. Covers 16 guests! You also can bring your own food which is very hard to find nowadays! Get a free shirt as well for birthday guest. Only thing I will say is music is playlist, so no music requests, but otherwise such great attentive, friendly and courteous staff. Checked on us regularly, and even had a lighter on hand for the cake candles, saved our day!

To all my ethnic people out there, if you’re looking for a fun place to skate and just enjoy yourself please go anywhere else lol. This place is extremely “picnic” if you catch my drift. Me and my hubby didn’t even make it out the car before we were greeted with weird energy. The “go back to your country boy” type of energy. It’s ashamed that it is 2022 and I have to feel uncomfortable because I am a beautiful black HUMAN being. If I had the energy I would’ve still went in and made everyone else uncomfortable with my godly presence but I really just came to have a good time and nice date with my hubby. To all my ethnic people, please reconsider going anywhere else. To all my non ethnic people, please do better. I know it’s not all of you. We really have to do better as a human race. Also the staff was very respectful and nice during our short interaction. It is not the place but the people and I could tell immediately that we weren’t welcome.

The floors here are usually crowded on the weekends because theres a bunch of birthday parties here. The best times to come here are in the evening on the weekdays. Most of the kids are home. Theyll give you quad skates here. If you have inline skates you are more than welcome to bring them.

Amazing vibes, perfect place if you’re looking for a fun roller rink in Austin. I went on Friday around 11:00pm for adult night, skated until 1am. It wasn’t crowded but it wasn’t empty, the music was GREAT, and the lighting was really cool.

I decided to go on adult night. There was a pretty good atmosphere and everyone seemed to be familiar with each other. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. For the time I was there the music was alright because I didnt stay very long. The facility was older so the floor had some bad spots and considering that the floor was so small it was uncomfortable for me. The rink had a small town feel it. Coming from Houston by way of Chicago Ive been to many roller rinks over the years. The rink was just to small. The corners came to quick. Otherwise it wasnt too bad. I just prefer a bigger place.

Best place ever! Staff is exquisite. Place is very clean and staff is always picking up trash. Staff was also very friendly, helpful and quite beautiful! Great place to skate and hangout with friends :)

Been going here since freshman year of college. The adult nights are definitely my preference. Youll see a lot of experienced skaters gliding between everyone effortlessly. Im not experienced at all, clumsy even, but the environment feels welcoming and I often see a wide demographic of skaters with varying skill. Seeing other people fall and laugh defuses any sense of esotericism. At the end of the night, even if I spent most of it clutching the center beams, its still a fun experience and its a great place for a date 💕 the aesthetic, arcade machines, music, and food bar really transports you to years past - its great!

Everyone working there seemed absolutely miserable.. they were only playing country music so i asked if they played anything else and they said no, and if i wanted to i’d have to pay to use the jukebox. fair enough, but kinda a buzzkill. every time someone would change the song it would immediately go back to country music which made the vibe so weird. but the absolute worst part is the skates, i swear when i put them on they were wet and smelled like the stinkiest feet ever. i had to throw my socks away and wash my feet. if you’re okay with all of that this place might be for you! but personally it felt outdated and i didn’t want to touch anything.

A hidden treat! I had never been to this part of town before. I went with a large group to skate here. Its kind of small. Adult night was nearly empty except for our group. $5 is a bargain. The music was great! Typical Spazmatics type music. The staff was very attentive. They didnt seem to have many rules. We had a good time. If I lived closer, I would go there on a regular basis.

Ive been here several times and enjoy myself each time. However I never recommend having a birthday party. My hostess handed me my bill in the middle of singing happy birthday to my son. The party was the last one scheduled and they were kicking us out 15 minutes before our time ended so they could be out when it closed. Ill still go back, just not for a birthday celebration.

The customer service here is fantastic. Everybody is great. I would give it five stars if the floor was in better shape. Honestly Ive been skating for over 30 years and this is the worst rink Ive ever seen. Its really uneven and in some places has significant bumps. I dont know what kind of material it is but it is not holding up well. This was not our first time here but it was the first time in several years and the floor was not previously like this.

Ive been going here for years, I love the adult nights. Its not the most safe place if youre worried about germs but still, would recommend.5 years in, still love it.

I went on adults only BYOB night and it was an amazing option for something new to do with friends! We all had a blast, but the rink is pretty small and the floor was very uneven in places so as a new skater I was having a hard time staying out of people’s way. But would definitely go again for something cheap and fun to do!

This was my daughters first experience roller skating and she had a blast here. The staff was super helpful and very pleasant from the moment we walked in the door. They allowed all the time to get my daughter acclimated to the enviorment and came by to check on her when she took a spill.The rink is very smooth despite what another reviewer said and the music selection isnt bad/is very eclectic so all genres are covered.I grew up in roller rinks and this one is excellent for beginners and experienced skaters alike. My wife and I were very impressed and will be coming back often!

3 stars should be good based off my personal experience. After reading the reviews and seeing a specific one by RenaeTheGod I was wary on the music of this rink more than the energy. I didn’t experience any racism and may haven’t been paying attention enough to notice weird vibes. I’m a skater and came to skate. The staff was actually okay and a brotha complimented my footwork, so…Overall, the quality of this place is going downhill. I’m a skater that skates so it’s really the horrible concrete floor and high-school prom inside the gym feel it has. If the music selection was not decent, I would’ve gave a 2.

I have taken classes with the instructor Stephanie. She is the best! Her class is so fun but also she teach you how to skate in a safe way. I highly recommend her class you will see your progress!

Really cool roller rink is south austin. Snack not so great but the rink and atmosphere are great! They have storage lockers with locks. Restrooms as well. Have a blast!

I go every Friday night. And I think its awesome. Its a chance for friends to hang out and meet new people. food is great music is great and everything., AND FYI LIKE 99.9% of parents drop them off there and leave and thats a great thing and not bad at all because sometimes we need breaks from our parents !! right ? well come join up for fun !See ya ! peace out ............ :)1

Me and my husband decided to have a last minute party for my daughter this was a great place super affordable. The staff was amazing Tyler was the most amazing person super cheerful and extremely nice. I would definitely come back and have another partyhere anytime!!!

If i could give 0 i would. The first interaction i had with an employee, she was so rude. Im pretty sure she was the manager for the night.She barked and rolled her eyes at us.Rudely asked for ids like we werent old enough. Worst customer service ever.Secondly, not a single Covid 19 precaution was being enforced. Their was no social distancing, and Absolutely no staff were wearing masks at all. The staff members were all huddle together without masks for the majority of my stay. Except for one employee in the cafe. at least 10 customers not wearing a mask on the floor or common areas. No sanitation or anything. I felt extremely uncomfortable, and left early. Not worth the price increase, where they used to be at $8 and is now $10 during a covid pandemic. Never will be returning, and i called the Austin Code Department to investigate this poorly ran business. Waste of Money, Time.Travis County is still under mask mandate. If you dont mind catching covid, youll have fun getting blisters.

I love this rink. I bring my two grand children, 6 and 9, and they have are learning to skate there. It stays dark, and sometimes the disco-ball lights can be a little disorienting. Its great, because its not big enough for the big people to get going crazy-fast and run over the little kids or old ladies. The girls both like the safety wall in the middle, and they do a couple of laps around that to help them remember how to move those feet before they head over to the wall. The music is fun. The snack bar is good. Prices are reasonable. Win, win, win, all around.

I understand kids will be kids, but having kids standing/ sitting in one place on the rink, and sliding in front of you is hazardous. Not only that, but there was candy wrappers on the rink that almost caused me to slip. I love to skate, and sadly this is the worst skating rink I’ve been to.

I quite enjoyed the rink, music was nice, staff was wonderful and they gave us extra hours on our room for free for a small inconvenience. my ONLY issue was the floor of the rink itself, it wasnt even and it was a bit bumpy, but other than that, my experience was wonderful.

It was our first time there. I threw my daughters birthday party there. I didnt know what to expect. Walked in and they were ready to help me. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. My daughter had a blast. Thanks guys will be going back.

Ageist.This roller rank is completely ageist to young adults who are 18+ during their adult nights. Staff checked all of our government ID’s which showed we were 18-19 years old. The front desk lady claimed one of our ID’s were fake. Despite the birthdates being for 18-19. Why would someone get a fake to be 18 years old? Completely rude and ridiculous felt prejudice ever since the moment we walked in. I still can’t believe that they thought my friends ID that said she was 19 was fake…. Absolutely ridiculous.

First time here. Didn’t even know they were here. Booked my daughters 7th Birthday here. I was nervous because we’ve never been here but the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such awesome customer service. We will definitely be coming back.

This place is horrible! Super unfriendly staff, smells funny, and no AC only one open vent that you have to stand in front of to get air. The concrete floors also make it impossible to skate on! Make the extra drive and go to a better one!

The place is good if you just want to roller skate and thats OK because the price couldnt be better. It was a bit warm I guess because it was so hot outside and the AC couldnt keep up. They do not allow outside food or drink bui I did not check out the things they sell to eat so I dont know what they have or how the prices are. I dont care to state but my kids enjoyed it.

First time at this rink and was not impressed.. Did not smell clean, the floor was not wood (very eneven), and terrible music. My kids wanted to leave early. LolThey also advertise Thursday as Family Nite on their website for $5 a person but we were charged $8 a person. I would be happy to add a screenshot of this error but this review does not give me the option of attaching photos.We will travel further and go to a nicer rink from now on.

If you have a special needs child . Do not come here. They will discriminate and not allow them to enjoy the rink if they can not put skates on. The manager said he was a liability since he doesnt have skates on and cant wall on rink . Yet they offer no modifiers for special needs kids to be able to enjoy the site. No signage or notice that they are now allowed on rink.

We were really excited to find a roller rink that was open at night and hired a babysitter so that we, a middle aged couple, could relive our youth. We drove the 45 minutes to the rink only to be denied entry because I, an almost 40 year old woman with a head full of grey hair didnt have an ID on me showing I was over the age of 18. If it wasnt so unbelievable I might have laughed. I asked her if she thought I was actually under 18. She looked a bit uncomfortable and then deferred answering my question and instead responded that because they allow BYOB at the evening skating that people must show they are over 18 by ID and pointed to a small sign by the door that says you must show an ID. I explained that no where on their google listing or on their website did they state that policy and that the logic behind it was also ridiculous as 18 year olds cant even drink so how was that the age minimum for a BYOB rink?! I hadnt brought my ID because my husband drove and we clearly werent BYOBing with only a set of car keys (we dont drink at all anyway). It didnt matter that I looked old enough to be her mother, she would not allow us to enter. This may be a great place to skate but I will NEVER support them with my business going forward. You need to put that policy on your google listing AND website so middle aged people dont waste their night driving 1.5 hrs round trip to not get to skate!

Last weekends visit was ONLY pleasant due to the gr8 sk8 tunes! The floor was horrible & dangerous for beginners, better off going to paved parking lot

Had a great experience here, fun and cheap with a great atmosphere.

It was so much fun! But the music was sooo inappropriate, they were plating songs like Dollhouse and 7 rings. There we children that should be hearing that. But other than that it was so much fun!

Poor management, good atmosphere, lack of floor guard presence, and the rentals are horrendous even for rentals. I skated for 2 hours and have a blood blister on my foot and gash in my ankle. I worked at a skating rink as a manager and I’ve never seen such poor execution of a skating session. Again atmosphere is cool, but overall I rather skate on gravel with Walmart $10 skates on. Only reason I’m giving this 2 stars is because the wheels rolled on the rentals and the place was dead so we had the floor to ourselves.

We love go to this skating rink!! Great customer service. Awesome place for the family. For the women complaining about people not wearing masks please stay home. Youre the type of people that are ruining this Great country.

Started goin to this place since everything else has pretty much shut down and they have been great. They’re following all the regulations implemented because of what goin on and have been kindly enforcing it to all who enter and everyone has been responding well. It’s A Safe Place To Get Out Of The House And Have Some Fun!

Great little roller rink! A bit smaller than Playland but usually less crowded. Snacks are not overpriced. Multiple adult nights per week which are BYOB. The adult nights are great music and great people watching. People tend to dress up like its a nightclub.On Sunday mornings from 11:30am - 12:30pm there are $20 group skating lessons with @yogita_applebum (find her on tiktok and instagram). The cost includes rental skates, and you can also stick around afterwards to enjoy the all ages free-skate from 1-5pm.

We had my daughters 9th birthday here. She had a blast. Very nice place. Great service! We will definitely return.

Staff seemed completely unaware of anything going on. Had three or four random middle schoolers being very obnoxious. Also their AC was out so it was super hot. Place seemed kind of dirty. Only have roller skates, no roller blades. The skates seemed old and dirty.

Came here a few times but may stop going forward. The issues I have is who you enforce the rules on. For example, outside food. You allow certain people to bring outside food like your staff can order outside food and allow others, who are not part of party or adult night, bring in outside food but run over to tell someone you cant have outside food or drink. Enforce rules on everyone and not just who you want too.

I’ve been a few times now on Saturday, it’s a great place. Amazing atmosphere and the staff is super friendly! Definitely recommend if you haven’t been to check it out!

The entrace area was so hot and muggy, and the area that held the skates you can use, stunk to high heaven. Then, I was pushed down by an employee who was skating on the ring, but looking at her phone. She was Not a young employee either, and when she said I didnt see you there! As I got up I told her, thats because youre paying attention to your phone and should put it away! Her response was, Whatever! I dont think she realizes that her concern should be for the safety of the customers. She better hope my elbow is just bruised, because I will be in touch with the owners of this disgusting establishment. They need to get it together!!

Totally awesome. An entertainment throwback to the 1980s with modern musical offerings. A mere $8 gets you hours of retro enjoyment. Highly recommend!

This business is family owned and the owners are salt-of-earth good Samaritans. I went to a BOH event at Austin Roller Rink. It was sold out so I had to park on some grass by Manchaca. Its been raining heavily this week and when the event let out around 11pm, my car was stuck in the mud! I spent maybe an hour trying to get out, asking people to help push, etc. But it was really in there. A tow company said they would pull me out but that I would have to wait until 1am and that it would cost $95. Then the owner said he had a chain and would pull me out with his truck!There were some complications. Once we got the car out of the mud, we couldnt get the hook out of tire well. So the owner produced hammers and a crowbar. He stayed with me for at least half an hour, using his phone for light while we tried to get the hook out of the car. Eventually he got a jack and the extra room let us maneuver the hook out. I was covered in mud but I was free!Anybody that would get their hands dirty in a dark mud pit at midnight to help a total stranger is a good man. This guy and his wife have invested everything they have in this small business and they deserve to make it. I may take up roller skating as a result of this experience.

May be ok for parties, but not for serious skating. The floor is too small and there are spots where its not level. I wish Austin had a high quality place located in centrally. The only options are far north or far south.

The worse rink I’ve been to! The floor is uneven, bumpy and small! That petition in the middle is so annoying- the females at the register and the skate area were not cordial and not accommodating! Save your $10 and go to the one closer to Cedar Park, Texas

Went here on New Years Eve and had a blast! BYOB, video games, and 80s festivities. Nice friendly staff and big space for a big party. Will go again.

This place is just amazing! Weve come for the last 2 weeks on country dance night! Huge 10000 square foot dance floor (skate area). We just love it!

I think the music could have been more fun. It was the same kind of music, but different type people. I think more variety I would make it more appealing to older crowd.

Friendly staff, huge venue! Easy to distance from others but still have a blast. Music on point, just an all round great time!

Staff was nice but the rink floor was uneven and needs to be replaced. We are good at skating but this floor made us fall multiple times. Ruts on corners, uneven floor.One of the kids broke his wrist, another hit her head, and another dislocated his shoulder... All in one trip to the skating rink🤦‍♀️

$10 to enter, skates included. Add $5 for speed skates, although very limited sizing. The rink shape is one of the oddest and smallest dedicated roller rinks Ive seen.

Just beware. Party room is not for 2 hrs but 1 1/2, because you have to start cleaning the room and have it empty 15 min before the completition of the 2 hrs. So dont tell me I will have a room for my guests for 2 hrs. Because it was not.

Rude staff , it was my first time visiting this place and i had a hard time looking for the restroom so i asked a woman named kaitlynne meyer where the restroom is at and she called me a “dumbass“ & said “ it’s not that hard to find “ i’ll never visit again

Staff friendly and helpful. I do adult nights, and sometimes I just have the whole floor to just skate. Place is kept cool.

Great place! Big enough so you can keep your space. Everyone wears masks and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I personally will not return I believe the ground is very unsafe it is unlevel bumpy it has broken spots and very scratched up making it difficult to skate. The rink itself is very small and boring. I have gone to other skate rinks that are less expensive than and 9 times better in Austin. Go to skateland off of McCann its worth the drive and its only $6 vs 10.

This places adult night is all I go to, but its a really young fun vibe. good workout too! highly recommend!

First time here. A neat rink with a great way to approach kids and adults with sessions dedicated to each. The skates were in good shape and were a mix of old and new.

This is the worst roller rink Ive ever been to! It shouldnt even be called a roller rink. The floor is made of rough concrete and its not even an oval its a circle so you can never go straight just constantly turning. The rough floor kills any momentum and it is a pain to skate . They only offerold style roller skates with no ankle support. We asked for a refund after five minutes and they said all they could give us was free passes to come back again. ha! like we would ever want to come back to this crappy excuse for a roller rink.

Austin Roller Rink turns itself into a country dance club on Saturday nights during the COVID pandemic, clearly violating health department directives limiting the size of gatherings, one of which drew more than 400 people ages 18+ to a “mask optional” event without social distancing.This came after a month when Austin worked hard to beat back a surge of COVID cases and hospitalizations.It is unknown how the rink can adequately sanitize the large, windowless space prior to re-opening for family skating the following day, but Families are advised to be wary.

Had my daughters birthday here it was the worst costumer service coming from a manager it was to bad that you have to prepay the full amount $200-$375 when you reserve a party room online because the day of the party I would have canceled and walked out Save your money and go somewhere else

It’s not a very well designed roller rink. It’s more like a roller rectangle. There aren’t any straightaways, just turns, which isn’t that fun after a while. The Austin Playland is a far better skating rink than this one.

I give it three stars because based on your options in Austin; this is not that bad. Although, compared to full sized roller rinks, this place is tiny. Very crowded floor and the rented skates can vary from not bad condition to very very bad which is dangerous. They gave my friend a pair with broken laces and told him that was his only option. ANKLE BRAKER!

Has to be the most grimy place I have ever seen.Floors dirty, everything falling apart, you can tell no update has ever been made since they opened. All games are broken 0 work! Kids running the floor jumping in games straight chaos.

I had a fun time here. I hadn’t been skating since high school and the skill came flooding back to me once I got on the floor. There were so many great skaters there.

Id give it a zero if there was one.Dirty, tiny, half the floor was closed for an event later in the day. And the rink was closing at 4 pm on a saturday. Do not waste your money or time here

I love this place. We go there all the time and it is always safe for our kids. Come to the south and get down.

The two women working in the food section very rude. Only stayed for 30 minutes because they got us so mad. One of them said dont make eye contact with them we wont be coming back.

Great place & experience. A door that closes completely at the mens Rm wouldve gotten them 5th star. Parking is kinda limited too...

Great spot for kids B-Day party the staff was awesome and the place was clean and spacious. The AC was not that great it was pretty warm so Id recommend a evening party there

My daughter goes every weekend. I feel she is in safe hands and looked after by the staff. Good old school vibe.

Wow I was surprised at how fun this was tonight. It was like highschool. Very nostalgic and premium chill spot. Definitely going to be a regular. SHOULD HAVE GONE SOONER!!!!

Staff was eh, place was okay. Run down a bit, the microwaved pizza was my fav part.

Love the rink, awesome DJ byob nights are awesome. Only down side is everytime i use their skates i get blisters from lack of padding, but overall its awesome fun.

Overselling parties which takes up space for regular customers to sit. Rude staff that doesnt communicate. Dangerous surface.

Concrete floor that is uneven, and that would be ok except the lights are very low and there are seizure inducing disco lights. Unsafe for young new skaters.

Your not able to bring in BD gifts once party is over. Or, BD CAKE!...We will not be going there again to celebrate a kiddy party!
